Used them for several years, very satisfied. Just had a plumbing leak in the kitchen (I'm certain my amateur repair attempts had nothing to do with it ). One call and they were here within 2 hours. Couldn't ask for more!

We had a smell problem in the shower box. A month ago in April 2022, we asked Alex to come. He snaked the shower drain, and put clobber in. Clobber is the stuff plumber uses to dissolve hair, dead skin cells, gunk down there.

He said if the smell still lingered, he recommended to use smoke bomb test at $400.
A month later, May 2022, I called and wanted him to do the smoke bomb test because the smell is still bad. The girl at the office called Alex and then called me back saying it's now $895.
One month and it went from $400 to $895?? I know inflation is bad, but to double the price in one month?? Needless to say, I don't want it.
My husband should have gotten a written quote from him on the $400, but he didn't.

I'm happy to report that I received a quote from another plumber for less than $400 the next day.

ZERO star. The tech came out to check the issue with one of my sinks. He told me what the issue was and he recommended that I repair it myself. The repair did not fix the issue. I called back but they refused to come back to check the same issue. Horrible and unreliable company. I won't use them again. I don't recommend Lex's Plumbing to anyone.

Outstanding and friendly service. Had a small gas leak near the water heater and Matt came out and took care of it. Such a great personality and was very helpful. Strongly recommend.

They came out to my house & didn't fix the problem they made the problem worse. My toilet was still clogged up & it even got worse after that they said my toilet was fixed but it was still clogged up. Don't even go with these people.

Mike and Ryan cleared a clogged toilet after I did everything that I could to fix the issue. While fixing the issue, they educated me in what I could do to make sure the problem doesn't persist. They were both very professional and efficient and took care of the issue.

Called on Monday and they were here repairing the leak Tuesday at lunch. Knowing how busy these companies are these days i was super excited to get someone out so fast. They took care of the problem and fix other problems we didn't know we had. They also added valves to help us in the future. Great job. Fair price!

they came out to my house and didn't fix the problem my toilet was still clogged up even after they said it was fixed water all over the floor I wouldn't recommend these people at all

My kitchen sink exploded!  Not exactly, but that's what it felt like at the time. My mom peeled a 5 pound bag of potatoes and put the peels in the disposal.... The drain pipe detached from the disposal and I needed help ASAP - I mean, we had a lot of people coming for dinner to eat those 5 pounds of potatoes!  ALEX answered my my desperate plea for help at 3:45 on Friday afternoon and walked me through how to fix the pipe connection myself!  Cheapest plumber service call I've ever made.  Alex was so kind, calm and helpful!   Thanks so much Alex and Lex's Plumbing, you saved the day!!

Beware this company will Not value you as a customer and will try to take advantage of you in prices. I have used them for numerous repairs for numerous years at a rental property I own. I called them to fix a running toilet and the supply line valve wasn't stopping the water. Their Quote to repair a worn out flap and supply line valve. Over $500. In response I said I could install a brand new toilet for less the response was we charge $325 for that and you supply the toilet.  They charged me a $60 service fee instead of saying you know what this is a $20 parts repair that will take less than 30 minutes and fixed it for an hour of labor. Instead they didn't value me and chose to try to take advantage of it being Friday afternoon on a holiday weekend. After just paying them $249 to repair an outside faucet in March. Another over priced repair that took 30 minutes. You decide whether you want to become their next victim.

Installed a hot water heater with a expansion tank in 2014 , never pulled permits and installed the expansion tank up against roof line .. when new roof was installed in 2015 the tank was punctured, it held until 2017 the great flood , emergency shut off valve was installed on the wrong side of the line.. 70,000 in damage. Use caution and always follow up.

Got connected with Lex's Plumbing though AHS after we had a terrible experience with another plumbing company ( who shall remain nameless) assigned by AHS for a previous job.So when We has another leak, we called AHS and requested a different company. Enter Lex's plumbing and we could not be happier! Justin arrived promptly on the scheduled 2 hours window and got right to work. He was super nice, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help us! Not to mention he left the work area spotless! Thank you Justin! We would highly recommend Lex's plumbing and will not hesitate to use them in the future, home warranty or not! Forgot to mention, the lady that answered the phone to schedule service was also super nice and polite, sorry I didn't catch her name but she was super sweet and was able to get us a slot that worked with our schedule. Just had Lex's Plumbing at house. Called on Thursday and got service call schedule for Friday AM. Cost of job was reasonable and service tech very professional and polite.

In the past month we've had a couple issues at our home that Lex's plumbing took care of. We were referred originally by AHS to fix a shower faucet. I was impressed at the attention to detail by the team from the receptionist who took our call asking about the issue and narrowing down possible causes to our tech Brandon who was out next day who confirmed the diagnosis of a cartridge replacement and had our faucet working in no time. We had such a great experience with Brandon that we called back in to have our kitchen faucet replaced when felt like it was faltering. Matt arrived at our home in the time designated and took care of the install quickly and efficiently. The team is highly knowledgeable and is up front about the pricing which is helpful/comforting when dealing with plumbing matters. We'll continue to use Lex's plumbing and will refer them whenever we have the chance.

This company consistently goes above and beyond for their customers. I started using this company probably 6-7 years ago and I have never experienced a late technician, cancelled appointment, or bad customer service.  Just today I had to contact a 24-hour plumber because my son's shower handle broke at 1am, so we had to turn the main water supply off to the house. Three larger companies claiming to offer 24-hour services didn't deliver. Two of them cancelled and one never called back for my appointment time. I called Lex's Plumbing about my emergency and they were at my house in 20 minutes. I recommend this company 100%!!!

What a GREAT experience. I called several of those TV commercial companies to have a new kitchen faucet installed. They all said it would be a trip fee to come give me an estimate.

I called Lex and they gave me the estimate over the phone and included new shutoff valves. Matt arrived on time and did excellent work quickly. He cleaned everything before leaving and the price was what they quoted.

I will definitely use them in the future.

I called Lex's on Thursday, December 13 and spoke to a very polite woman about a few plumbing issues.  She noted the details of my issues and suggested that one low water pressure issue in our master bath may be the result of filter.  She gave me an estimate for filter replacement, if that did indeed turn out to be the issue.

I gave my name, phone number, and address and was told that a tech would be out on Monday, December 17 between 8-10 and that they would call me before hand.

Monday rolls around, no call and no tech.  I call Lex's back, and they have no record whatsoever of me calling.

I am not crazy - I only use my cell phone for calls, and did NOT call multiple plumbing companies.

How does this type of thing happen?

I really like this plumbing company. My service tech Michael was so friendly and diagnosed my toilet's problem and fixed. I wish I would have used them when I had to have this toilet worked on the first two times.

We have used Lex's Plumbing several times. Each time we experienced top notch customer service, they arrived on time and the technician gave us advance call to let us know they were on their way and about how long it would take for them to arrive. The quality of work was a commensurate value to the cost.

Great service...Michael showed up as scheduled, was very courteous, had a mask on.....took care of the issue at a pre-determined flat rate pricing.  no surprises.....got an email receipt with pictures of before/after work.   Certainly my go to plumber now :)

I had a burst pipe after the February freeze.  They contacted me within an hour to set up an appointment. After completing the initial repair, Justin and his assistant found three other pipes that were damaged, one in a particularly difficult to get to area above my garage.  The crew stayed throughout the afternoon, systematically repairing all the damage until once again we had hot and cold running water. They even emailed me an invoice with photos of all the repairs in case I need to submit an insurance claim with my home owner's insurance.  I can't thank these guys enough. They were very professional and did a great job.  The price was fair, as well. Lex's came through when I needed them and they have certainly earned my business.

I might have left a review when my water heaters were installed last year.  The installation went smoothly and city inspector said Lex's went above and beyond in what they had to do. . . We had no hot water today and both our pilot lights were lit.  I left a message hoping to be one of the first call backs Monday morning.   I got a call back on Saturday after hours and help to fix the problem.  We didn't have to go long without hot water and really appreciated the help over the phone.  I always recommend Lex's on my neighborhood websites for new water heaters/plumbing and will continue to do so.  They deserve more than 5 stars.

Worst experience ever!!! I called lex's plumbing to fix my tankless water heater issue which wasn't working  past 2 days. A guy named Corey came over today and checked the system . He said there is some sensor problem and need to order it. He charged us $300.00 and left the place asking us to order the parts. First of all what was the point in him coming over. Was it just to diagnose the issue or fix the issue?  OMG! These folks are useless! Never ever gonna recommend their service to anyone. It was just a waste of our money and time.

We have used Lex's Plumbing on 6 separate occasions in the past 4 years--faucet installation utility sink in garage, exterior faucet repair, clogged line from air conditioner to exterior, tub/shower faucet repair, toilet repair, power pressure valve installation.   Pricing is competitive and explained in detail before work begins.  Matt is our service tech;  he is reliable,  knowledgeable, professional, detailed and very pleasant. We highly recommend Lex's Plumbing!!

Made a service call for no hot water pressure in all my faucets. it was the water deposits clogging the hot water line from the (top of the) water heater. I didn't feel comfortable messing with it, so I called Lex's Plumbing.

Their plumber came out told him the problem, within 10 mins without ever going inside or even opening up the hot water line he determined that I needed a new $1,257 water heater with a week delay for install, and he had the nerve to charge me $49 service call. He said he couldn't look at the hot water line that it might break (???) because the age of the water heater (11 yrs). He was suppose to send me a  email quote, never got it. I gave them 2 star for being on time and their were courteous.

After doing some DYI again and cleaning the hot water lines a couple days later the harden deposits broke and got hot water again full pressure. Lesson learned don't always trust the professionals, as their looking for their best and easiest interest. Although, I think I will need a new hot water soon, got a quote from Home Depot with install, same water heater for $900 next day install with a local plumber.

The receptionist was rude. Was not willing to accommodate and had to wait several days for call out. Cancelled them and went elsewhere.

Update 5 months later - I note a response from owner, 21 days ago.    Ummmm need I say more???

Very reasonable prices.   Replaced 2 outdoor faucets, very professional and quick service.   Would recommend highly.

Matt and Casey showed up on New Year's Eve to look at a leak on our hot water recirc line. It could not be isolated and we were having to funnel the water to keep it from going down the walls.  They stayed and drained off the tank and fully repaired the line.  Extremely professional and very thorough in their job.  Thank you for a great experience and for saving me from having to funnel water through New Year's!

I came back in town after a weekend away and discovered that both of my hot water heaters were busted. In scramble mode, I contacted a few local service companies and inquired about approximate replacement costs. The estimates varied widely and were all dependent on if additional parts/labor would be necessary. My neighbor recommended that I call Lex's and over the telephone they provided a final cost that included any additional parts/labor and they provided an all inclusive warranty on the replacement units.

Mike and Tony did the install and they were the most professional and courteous technicians that I have encountered in my fourteen years in Frisco. They were also extremely knowledgeable about the required work and associated Frisco code compliance requirements.

I have some additional work that needs to be done on some separate projects and this is the company that I will absolutely call. Highly recommended....

I had a great experience with Lex's plumbing and Robert White.  My T&P valve was leaking on one of my hot water tanks while I was out of town.  I called Lex's late expecting to just leave a voicemail but I ended up speaking to Alex.  I explained the problem and he set up an appointment for when I would be back in town.  
Robert called when he was on his way.  Once he arrived he didn't even knock on my door with a crescent wrench. Used the doorbell like a regular person. Robert  identified himself, wore shoe covers, replaced the valve, checked everything, cleaned up, and gave estimates on a few other things I was just throwing around.  
I was tagging along while he was working and he was explaining everything, answerd any questions I had from life expectancy of hot water tanks, brands recommended, tankless heaters, and just the normal chit chat.
No sales pressure.

I found the price to be reasonable and in line with other plumbers around the Frisco, McKinney, Allen area.  
I realize Alex has a business to run, pay his employees, truck fleet, advertising, tax man, and make a living...So I will gladly pay for an honest and reputable plumbing company.

Also FYI if you haven't bought a water heater in the last year there are new regulations on hot water tank efficiency. Not only are they larger now due to the mandated insulation they are more expensive as well.
This was part of The Department of Energy's National Appliance Energy Conservation Act.

Again I have used several different plumbers over the past few years. I was impressed with Lex's and they are saved in my contact for any future work.

I wouldn't pay any attention to the negative reviews.

Scheduling was a breeze.  My plumber Corey and his apprentice, Austin called a head of my appointment and showed up on time.  They fixed 2 of my toilets within a half hour and were very polite and curteous during the visit.  Corey was honest with me about the issues and did not try and upsell or overcharge me.  I would definitely recommend this company based upon my experience.

Had THE BEST experience with Alex with Lex's Plumbing this morning. Our home warranty selected them for us, and they were quick to book the appointment, super polite on the phone, courteous, on-time, professional and quick! He even took the time to go over some basics of usage for our garbage disposal, and I learned a few things! Would highly recommend using them!

I am really not sure why so many folks have given Lex's Plumbing such bad reviews on Yelp.  To be honest, if I had read these reviews I would have been afraid to have them enter my house.  I also was first introduced to them via my Home Warranty Company over a year and half ago.  

In my case they have come to fix issues through my home warranty and also outside of my home warranty company that the warranty company does not cover.  I have also had other Plumbers come out here as well (because the Home Warranty company sends random vendors each time).  I guess I have a lot of plumbing issues :)  Regardless, out of all of them, Lex's Plumbing definitely stands out in friendly customer service and excellent quality of workmanship.  

I have dealt with Mike, Chris, and Robert (all in person). All 3 of them are extremely professional.  Chris always wears Shoe covers (whereas the other 2 do not) which is a plus when my wife is at home.  I have had them fix burst pipes in my backyard twice, and install sink faucets twice, and they do a great job from start to finish.  I can say that Mike and Robert for sure do a quality job in not only fixing up the issue but also making sure nothing will repeat.  Chris is also nice, but he has not done anything complicated for me as of yet.

I have also had Lex's Plumbing quote me on replacing my 17 Year old Water heater, and they have given me a fair quote.  I would say that it took a lot of effort for me to get them to give me a quote because I have a 75 Gallon water heater and its a tough job.  In general I would say they are not the cheapest player in town, but atleast for me they do quality work, and I am happy with them.  

If it is simple task (Drain Clogs, Toilet Clogs, etc), just try to do it yourself by buying the tools at Home Depot.  If it is something more complex, I would highly recommend them to my friends and family.

Tried to jack up the price stating that new codes had to be followed.   Also  a special order water heater was needed because a standard one would not fit.

This is the plumber you want to hire. They are very professional and really know what they're doing. We had lots of issues. Apparently the plumbing wasn't done right in our house right from the get go. They were here all day and even though there were many issues, they fixed them all and for no additional charge. I felt very comfortable with them in the house all day and they did an excellent job! Very reasonably priced. Ask for Chris. And if for some reason something isn't quite right they will be right back out, but it looks like it was done right the first time. I can't say enough positive things and it's great to have our plumbing fixed!

It's always comforting to find a trustworthy, straightforward contracting company. I've only had 1 dealing with Lex's and the experience couldn't have been better. My wife and I will definitely be repeat customers. Mike Young was our service technician for installing new water heaters. He was professional and detail-oriented. Lex's is a breath of fresh air in the world of plumbing.  All we want as consumers is for our plumber to arrive, diagnose, and fix our issue - and with a smile. Mike did all that and more (he arrived early).  Thanks Lex's and keep it up.

Any other homeowner would  hate to see the sight of their plumber, but that is not the case for me when I see Robert at Lex's Plumbing! Robert had been to our home at least 4 times and I will not use anybody else. Robert is very friendly, clean, and professional with every job he had done for us. Our first experience with Lex's Plumbing was when I had a slab leak that they had to access through our hallway. I was so worried that it was going to be a giant mess but it was definitely not as bad as I thought! Their pricing is very competitive and fair that I use them for all my other complicated plumbing needs. I was unfortunate to get another slab leak ink my kitchen last week but Robert made it pretty simple and clean. I definitely highly recommend Lex's Plumbing!

I had a water leak in one of my hot water heaters in the attic. Called Lex's Plumbing, and Alex showed up about an hour later. We looked at the water heater, and Alex professionally walked me through three options. He took a lot of time to explain the pros and cons of each option.

In the end, I went with the least cost option and accepted the risk. Alex was supportive of the decision and quickly completed the job.

This is the second time I've used Lex's plumbing, and would happily do so again. Alex was probably the most courteous, well spoken plumber I've ever had.

Had Lex come to do an insurance job, as he was the only choice my home insurance offered. Refused to fix the insurance job for the expected $60 and said my problem needed $350 worth of extras to install a tap and replace a garbage disposal. He didn't connect my dishwasher, and it literally covered the kitchen floor the next day.

Likewise, had a similar massively overpriced quote on installing 2 x water heaters. Found better quote from practically everyone else. I installed my water heaters at over $1000 cheaper and got a 9year guarantee by going elsewhere.

Would avoid Lex if you have an alternative option.

Recently had two hot water heaters replaced at our house and am very happy with the results.  The crew was punctual and professional.  Unlike other plumbing companies that I have worked with, the price Lex's quotes you is the price you pay.  There were no hidden charges once the job was completed.

It is so refreshing to have a plumber or any other tradesmen come out to your house and solve your major problem in the first two minutes. That is exactly what Michael Young did from Lex's plumbing in Frisco. I have used plumbers for the last 40 years and never have had such a great experience where I felt compelled to write about it. If you want great plumbing services and don't want to be ripped off. Lex's plumbing is the only place to call. Make sure you ask for Michael Young.

While it's not fun to have a gas leak, I'm glad I used Lex's to fix it!  Chris was prompt and professional.  It turned out that it was just a fitting above the riser at the meter, so the cost was less than originally thought.  During the pressure test, there were several other leaks found, as the system wouldn't maintain the pressure.  Chris did a great job of isolating and tracking (even listened to my suggestions!)  Overall I'm very pleased with their work and will use them in the future

I was experiencing low hot water pressure and I was assigned Lex's Plumbing by my Home Warranty company.  I'm usually not to excited about the companies they send my way but this was definitely a pleasant surprise.  The plumber that came to my house was Matt.  He was very professional and courteous.  He and his helper wore shoe covers when they entered my home.  He figured out what the problem was in a matter of minutes and had my hot water working very quickly.  No attempt to upcharge me for things that weren't covered under my home warranty.  I was very satisfied and would recommend this this company.

These guys are Awesome! I filed a claim around 2pm one afternoon to deal with issues I found after tenants had moved out of my rental.  I filed the claim thru my Home Warranty with the expectation that it would be the next day before they called me back.  30 minutes later I had a call back and Mike was at the house to deal with the issue an hour later. He quickly fixed a leak at the washer connection and an issue with the shower faucet. Great job from an appreciative and stressed landlord!

What an amazing plumbing company! From Laurie who answers the phone and assesses the problem, to Mike who comes out to find a solution sincerely caring about what he's doing, to the owner who runs the business with integrity, I am continually impressed.  We are faithful customers who have seen them work miracles time and again when we need them most. I highly recommend this company!!

I was very disappointed by the way we were treated.  Both Alex (the owner) and Chris (plumber) talked down to us.  They were put off that we had our shower contractor install the drain when they wanted the install and the $1100.  Chris pulled out his plumber's union card and said union plumbers are the only ones that can do that work.  Also, Alex ordered the wrong size tub which delayed the project 2 weeks.  When questioned about it, he threatened not to order it and walk away from the project.  Lex is a hassle and not worth the bother when there is a 1000 other plumbers in the area.

9/12/17 - Chris did a good job on replacing and installing new garbage disposal. He was fast and cleaned up after completing the installation. He wore shoe covers and was very professional. The next time I need a plumber I will call Lex's Plumbing and ask for Chris.

They get stars for being polite, knowledgeable and on time.

I had lex's come out to do an estimate because I needed my soft water filter removed. Chris was very courteous and polite. He explained to me what all would need to happen. He also told me my water heaters were in need of repair, which we knew our inspector told us before we bought the house.

Crap ratings bc they are OVERPRICED. Not just by a little bit...
Their quote for replacing two 50g water heaters was $3650.

Thank God I got a second opinion. Their price for the exact same thing $2376. (FYI. That quote was from Legacy plumbers)

Matt came here and located the leaking problem but didn't fix it, because he said it is a hot tub issue not a plumbing issue. I was still charged $105 without anything being fixed. I'm upset about it. But Matt is nice and they are quick response and on time. So I rate 3 stars.

Chris came to fix my water heater. He was professional and on time both times he came to my home. I have had other plumbing companies do work for me in the past, but none were as thorough and reasonably priced as Lex's Plumbing. Will definitely be using them again!

Oh, now I really dislike these guys.  I have to bump up to 2 stars because the leak was where he said it would be ... though it was under under the foundation, and the jackhammering they recommended would have gone all the way through the foundation, and they still would have had to dig.  I still don't want to do business with this company again, I still think they are sleazy and unprofessional.  But I can't give a 1 star review to because they apparently do know what they are doing, then again it could have been luck, and I had to force him to do some double checks, and felt like he was giving me attitude, and didn't want to be at my home in the first place.

so a review I wrote 2 years ago is missing.....hmmmmm wonder why? maybe because they are waiting for the owner to pay the 300-400 monthly fee to have ggod reviews show instead of only bad ones. EXTORTION! shame shame shame. I have also referred 4-5 people to these guys and their reviews are not on here either. Lets see how long mine stays up this time. the clock is ticking

Alex ( the owner ) showed up and said immediately hold on, I know what I have to do ... I am a master plumber! My wife was just going to tell him where the leak was and what I had done the day before. Still leaking when he left ... called him back. He used a cresent wrench to knock on our door. He left 3 big dings in our door that still haven't been fixed. First time he charged us $100 for not fixing the problem, second time around he tried to charge us again until I called him from work. Worst interpersonal skills I have ever encountered. He acted like a 7 year old, honestly! Found a place right around the corner that finally fixed it! Steer clear of this company!

Alex was prompt and extremely helpful. he replaced my garbage disposal and also gave me tips to keep it in good shape. I have to replace my faucet and will use him again. Would highly recommend!!

At 1:30 pm I placed a call to Lex's plumbing about replacing a garbage disposal in our rental house. Our renters said that it was leaking out of the bottom of the disposal. I spoke to Selena at Lex's about pricing if I were to purchase the garbage disposal myself and if they were to put one of theirs in. I decided to pick one up to make it an easier install. Surprisingly, she told me that someone could be out the same day in between 4pm and 6pm. I also, called her back with a question about different horsepowers of garbage disposals while I was at Lowe's and she was extremely helpful in assisting me with the purchase of the best one. At 4:30pm my tenant and I received a follow up call from Selena when the  technician was 45 minutes out. The technician was very professional and polite when he arrived while he put on his boot covers at the front porch. He completed the install and gave us some tips on how to care for the new disposal. He cleaned up underneath the sink and all around where he was working. He asked us if there was anything else that needed to be done before he left. I wish that I could remember his name but I will make sure that I use Lex for any other plumbing needs that may arise for my own house or our rental in the future!!

We had an emergency situation late at night. Alex came right over and fixed it quickly. The emergency rate was VERY reasonable and the overall cost was well within what was expected. Alex was courteous, professional and patient with my very inquisitive husband. Problem fixed quickly and correctly. I will absolutely use Lex's Plumbing with any future issues. We are very thankful we found them!!
