Adam, with Palyo plumbing is professional and honest. I was referred to him using the Home Advisory Program to replace my bathtub faucet. He came to my home assessed the issue and ordered he parts. When he came back to repair the faucet he was given the wrong type of kit which he didn't notice (minute difference) until he took apart the faucet and was beginning the repair. So when he put everything back together until he got the new piece he noticed that the faucet was no longer dripping. A shady plumber would have not said anything just to make the money from the job. He made me aware that it was no longer dripping. I REALLY appreciated his honesty which is hard to come by now days. So now I do not have the added expense of replacing something that actually just needed tightened. I did compensate him for his time!

Had to cut off water at the street and take a day off work due a spraying leak somewhere under the the bathroom in my pier-and-beam house.  Usual plumbers backed up two weeks but referred me to DSP&D and they had Mike out within an hour.  Ground completely saturated under the house and pooled in the low spots... envisioned two-man crew smiling while they pumped water all morning.  But no, Mike gave me a clean and reasonable estimate, did the work himself, charged me what he'd estimated.  Can't ask for more than that.  Will definitely call them with my next issue.

Amazing, honest service.  Christopher is as good as it gets.  He's our guy from now on.  Highly recommended.

Gave Mike a call at 8:30AM; an hour and half later he was available for service. The big companies wanted to schedule me days later or at some random hour. Mike was straight forward and didn't beat around the bush when it came to fixing the problem. He gave me an over the phone estimate of $120, it ended being $138. Great guy/plumber. Will recommend to friends and family.

Skyler was very professional and explained everything so that it made sense to me! We had a couple small leaks. He went to 2 different stores to look for a part that was needed. When they didn't have it Darrell stepped in and hunted it down. In the meantime I had some flooding happen and called them back. Skyler was able to come back and find what the problem was and brought the part and finished the original job. This company is now on my speed dial!

Speck Plumbing is terrific.  Trevor called and let me know the crew was on its way.  They showed up shortly, wearing masks, which is really important right now.  They were very courteous, and replaced the seal on the toilet and better than when the contractor put it in.  They asked questions and listened when we spoke.  They walked us through every step as they were working and were quick and clean!!!  I have had plumbers in the past, that we needed to do a thorough cleaning after because they left a mess.  Speck Plumbing used a floor protector and cleaned up everything.  I now have a plumber I can rely on and know I will be getting superior service for a fair price.

My entire interaction with Cody & Sons was excellent! One of my HVAC units went out as I was selling my house and the new owner was already in the location renting at the time. I contacted Cody & Sons for a quote and they responded almost immediately with an offer to come out and diagnose the problem on the same day. I had to reschedule for a couple days later, but Tony showed up when he said he would, troubleshooted the issue, and gave me options on repairing or replacing the unit. He listened to my concerns and, as promised, e-mailed me two quotes first thing the following morning.

The prices quoted for a new unit was way lower than a quote my tenant had gotten from another company (like 50% lower!) I opted for the new unit and within 2 days Tony and his team was able to come out and do the replacement. To note: the HVAC unit was on the 4th floor of my townhouse - they scheduled a crane to remove the unit over the balcony - and all of that with the new unit, crane, AND labor cost less than what another company quoted for just a new unit! Plus you get a Yelp discount if you found  them through Yelp (I did!)

My tenant was there through the process and by the time I went down to the house to check on them later, the unit was up and running. The tenants seemed extremely happy with their work and the service. I know I was. Plus now they have a new unit with a 10 year warranty! I highly recommend Cody & Sons for your AC needs.

Nathan came to house to take a look at a leak I had. Didn't talk about price until the end and then told me they bill over 200 an hour but would only charge me 169. I reluctantly paid although I thought it would be a service call charge and then get a quote. At the end he wasn't sure exactly where the leak was coming from. After thinking about it I called to tell them I didn't think the pricing was reasonable. Nathan called me back and was very defensive. He then proceeded to tell me I'm not sweating 169 and I will just refund you, obviously you are sweating it. I didn't get the refund and instead got a call back from Pete, his father and they defended their position. They offered me 20 as a refund but I did not accept.  Their website clearly says you will know the price before hand and this was not the case. Really frustrating and I dont recommend this company.

Dial one Johnson is a great small business. Got a new fridge and needed a new waterline replacement. They were here within 45 minutes after I called, they took time to explain what was required. Will be the only company that I will call from now on.

I could not have been more happy with Sheffield Plumbing!

Our gas detector went off @ 1:30 am, called Atmos, they came out within 30 minutes, verified that there was a leak some place and shut off the gas.  At that point you are between a rock and a hard place - as Atmos will not turn the gas back on until a permit has been pulled and any repair has been inspected.  You are at the mercy of the plumber and how much they want to charge you...

We had a home warranty which sent our a partner plumber who commenced to try and extort $1200 (+ the $60 copay) just to begin looking for the leak/pull the permit .  We told them to stick it and promptly canceled the home warranty.

We called several plumbers, large & small, eventually getting several recommendation Sheffield through Nextdoor.com.  When I called Sheffield, the lady who answered (who I found out was the owner's wife) the phone gave us a lot of information, explained the entire process, gave us an accurate quote and were only $350 to get started, which included pulling the permit, pressurize the system & 1hr of leak detection.  After that it would be their gas hourly rate of $120 + parts find & Fix.   We did have to wait 3 days for them to come out because they are a small company but I assure you it was well worth the wait.

Thomas Sheffield (the owner's son) arrived promptly @ 9am, was professional, explained everything before he began (during the process) and answered all questions I had.  (I'm new to living in a house with Gas)  Once all was said & done, leak was found under the house (a gas pipe was being held off the ground by brick instead of being hung from the floor joist with galvanized strapping and had eaten a hole in the brick at the point of contact), fixed, and the rest of the gas system under the house was raised and strapped CORRECTLY to prevent any further issues.

The entire process ended taking about 7 hours & was less than what the home warranty guy wanted just to get started!

They were prompt, professional, efficient, very reasonably priced, curteous & most importantly quality.

We needed to have the old 70s wood paneling painted in our main livingroom. We contacted TLC Services for an estimate and Luis came out. He gave us a quote for the painting but discussed some lighting issues we had. That wasn't in our initial plan but he gave us such a fair price that we couldn't say no. We had a ceiling fan in the dining area that needed replacing and he took care of that too! Needless to say, my husband and I couldn't be happier with the work. From the electricians to the painters to Luis himself, everyone was super nice to work with. The whole job took about 2 1/2 days so not only was the price fair but it was done in a timely manner too!  

One more thing I want to mention. Luis was EXCELLENT when it came to returning my texts and communicating everything up front when it came to the process and any issues that popped up along the way. (There's nothing worse than being hit with surprise charges at end.) I reappreciate him keeping us informed. Luis has great customer service skills and let me tell you. That goes a long way these days!! We will DEFINITELY be using TLC Services again and will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who will listen! Thank you so much!!!

Had a leaking shower facet, my house is an older home and didn't to make the leak worse. So after calling and checking around decided to do with Mullins.  
They came to my home check the problem gave me a quote which was fair that decided to have two toilets replaced, to ( remember older home).
They showed up the next morning and let me tell you amazing work. Showers is working great, since it was an older shower they had to go to the plumbing store to get the right part for that model. Glad I didn't decide to be a do-it-yourselfers.   For the toilets one needed extra work done to it, leaving it. Both are working great, they do a fantastic job, clean, professional, and they warranty their work.  
We talked about remolding my bathroom which will be a future project.

We had, what I would basically consider a plumbing emergency situation.  My husband called a couple of places, hoping he could find someone to come out that same day, meet him after he gets home from work, and not charge an outrageous same day price. After calling a couple of different companies, he knew almost immediately, when the sweet lady, from Leak Geeks answered the phone....she was very knowledgeable and reassured him, that they will take care of our problem today, she will have a skilled plumber, waiting at our home whenever he arrives home from work, which btw was late on a Friday afternoon.  We were sure we had a clog somewhere, had water backing up in both bathroom sinks, water overflowing in the attic, which was leaking from the ceiling in the bedroom, a total mess!  We rec'd a courtesy call, letting us know they were 10 min. away and Spencer was waiting at our home when my husband arrived, just like they promised.  Spencer was very calm, professional and knowledgeable, he diagnosed the problem immediately, and quoted us a very reasonable price.  Well to make a long story short, it wasn't as easy of a fix as we thought, what he normally could have repaired in 5 mins., took a couple of hours, due to where the clog was located and how big it was.  Spencer had another truck deliver some further supplies needed, to get the job done right, (the same day)!  I believe, from prior experience, most companies would have told us, we won't be able to complete this today, you'll have to wait until Monday, I don't have everything I need on my truck, but Spencer went above and beyond to complete the job and stay as long as it took, on a Friday afternoon, surprisingly they charged us the amount they originally quoted us,
even though it turned out being a much bigger job, than expected!!! After all that was done, he still spent some time giving my husband some advice on how to repair a different issue himself, to save us some money.  We will definitely be calling Leak Geeks for any plumbing issues we have, I highly recommend them....thank you for saving us from having a horrible weekend!!  It's not easy finding a company that truly cares......If you need a good Plumber, let this company be your first call!!!!

These guys stand behind their word and their WORK!  Always professional - informative - and a pleasure to have in our house to do work! Never try and upsell you on anything - just what's needed and warrant it for 2 years after! Super happy we found them!

Let me start off with the good.
Terry does really great work. His stuff is top notch. His prices are good, and if you have a problem with his work afterward, he does what he can to come and fix it. So... good if you don't need a stop what you are doing emergency and can wait a day or two for your leak or quick fix to happen.

Then there's the bad. I've had what I would consider a large personal project. I told him he could have it if he wanted it and there was no explicit expression that he didn't. I figured he was just busy. He couldn't manage my expectations, Dianna P. (his wife and in charge of the office phone) just quit picking up all together, and unless I called Terry directly, I wouldn't get a whole lot more than I'm busy, or there is an emergency, and I will get back to you later today. The last time he said that it was last week. My project is now behind and I'm forced to find a reliable person to rescue me. Now that I look at it was possibly a passive aggressive way to say I don't want to do it, so I've got someone else. Also, don't ask him to give you a quote on stuff... if you aren't interested in buying then or if you need him to look up prices for  you, you will never get them. He'll forget about them because he's too busy.

I knew this to be a reputable company that was recommended by several friends from church. I reached out to the owner, Ken Leffler, about issues with my water heater because it was running out of hot water before the bathtub even got full. He asked when it was convenient for me to have his guys come take a look and was able to fit me in within 48 hours. Luke and Jared were courteous, knowledgeable, and very diligent in their work. They replaced an element inside the water heater and left everything neat and tidy. Very happy with this company and highly recommend!

Outstanding all around! Would recommend for all necessary services. Great honest communication.

Please stay away from these shysters. It's a shame you can't give zero stars. We spent thousands with Baker Brothers. Among some repairs were that we needed a gas line replaced last November. I gave them a map of our sprinkler lines to ensure they didn't run into them. They ended up breaking the line but never telling me, and I didn't find out until the Spring when we turned the sprinklers back on. I called Baker Brothers, who of course would not do anything about it.

Flash forward a bit. Our AC unit stopped working and we and a free tuneup with them with our contract we signed the year before. Idiotically. The AC guy filled us up with the wrong type of refrigerant and I had to have someone in to replace the whole system. How did I know? I had more than one tech tell me that the refrigerant used was wrong.

I called and demanded a refund, (it was only $200 but it was the principle here) and I then demanded to be let out of our service contract, because why should I have to pay them a monthly premium when they not only break things but use the wrong product, and then lie about it? They were pretty nasty about the whole process.

Flash forward another few months. It's a Sunday and our plumbing backs up completely. I called four or five places but no one was available. Desperate, I called Baker Brothers. They schedule us. Then the lady calls me back-- I'm sorry, she says, you're on the do not service list. Like we were deadbeats or something else awful. Great customer service! It was very much my mistake for thinking they could ever have helped us out of a jam, seeing as though we had spent over $6000 with them last year. But talking my way out of their stupid contract and having them fix their own mistake made me a deadbeat customer, apparently! Pathetic. What a terrible company. Don't use them. I'm very glad we are on that list now-- won't call them even if our house is flooded. Awful company.
