Mike Pelayo has become our go-to plumber after making a great first impression when installing a new hot water heater. He is quick, seems to enjoy his job, does excellent work, and goes above and beyond to ensure his customers are satisfied. For example, when installing the new hot water heater, he noticed a few other things that needed to be fixed, mentioned them to me, and then fixed them at no additional charge. As another example, I asked him to stop by recently to address a number of smaller items. He finished the work quickly -- in about 35 minutes -- but rather then leaving immediately and charging me his one hour minimum fee, he asked if there was anything else that needed to be repaired. So I quickly brainstormed a list of minor annoyances (e.g., two drains that drained slow) and he started working his way through the list. I will continue to call Mike whenever I have a plumbing issue, and I strongly encourage anyone else to do the same.

Other reviews on other sites gave them a good rating and I have to agree.  I called at 8:30 in the morning for a AC drain clog in the foundation and they arrived within the hour.  They fixed the problem in 15 minutes and were honest.  They told me what I could do to prevent the problem from occurring again.  It just involved some do it yourself re-plumbing of the AC drain pipes.

Called them about a toilet we couldn't snake on our own. Came out within the hour and took care of the problem for us. Would definitely use again!

Will definitely use him again.  He came the same day to fix my kitchen faucet and didn't charge me an outrageous fee.  Very pleasant and efficient.

Thought I had hired this company but apparently not? Called in, said I wanted the water heater replaced, gave them the size / type, confirmed I wanted the one they purchase, given an estimate, scheduled a time, etc. Guys show up. No call to let me know they're coming but ok. Not a big deal. The guys have no clue why they're at my house. Tell me if I wanted the water heater replaced, I should have had an earlier appointment. How would I know that? I said I'd call someone else because they knew nothing about what I had called in for. He was going to write me an estimate. Uh? I asked when I called! Just no. Finding someone else.

Love this neighborhood local plumber. He and his father have been doing plumbing for years! I've been using them for about 6 years myself. They are reliable and honest.

Attempted to reach them for an appointment via their website chat feature and the appointment setup feature. Two days later, haven't heard a peep via phone, text, or email, and the supposed appointment is tomorrow morning.  A bummer since they had such good reviews, but also, I've now wasted two days that I could have been waiting for someone who is actually going to come fix the issue.

Nathan came to house to take a look at a leak I had. Didn't talk about price until the end and then told me they bill over 200 an hour but would only charge me 169. I reluctantly paid although I thought it would be a service call charge and then get a quote. At the end he wasn't sure exactly where the leak was coming from. After thinking about it I called to tell them I didn't think the pricing was reasonable. Nathan called me back and was very defensive. He then proceeded to tell me I'm not sweating 169 and I will just refund you, obviously you are sweating it. I didn't get the refund and instead got a call back from Pete, his father and they defended their position. They offered me 20 as a refund but I did not accept.  Their website clearly says you will know the price before hand and this was not the case. Really frustrating and I dont recommend this company.

Dial one Johnson is a great small business. Got a new fridge and needed a new waterline replacement. They were here within 45 minutes after I called, they took time to explain what was required. Will be the only company that I will call from now on.

I could not have been more happy with Sheffield Plumbing!

Our gas detector went off @ 1:30 am, called Atmos, they came out within 30 minutes, verified that there was a leak some place and shut off the gas.  At that point you are between a rock and a hard place - as Atmos will not turn the gas back on until a permit has been pulled and any repair has been inspected.  You are at the mercy of the plumber and how much they want to charge you...

We had a home warranty which sent our a partner plumber who commenced to try and extort $1200 (+ the $60 copay) just to begin looking for the leak/pull the permit .  We told them to stick it and promptly canceled the home warranty.

We called several plumbers, large & small, eventually getting several recommendation Sheffield through Nextdoor.com.  When I called Sheffield, the lady who answered (who I found out was the owner's wife) the phone gave us a lot of information, explained the entire process, gave us an accurate quote and were only $350 to get started, which included pulling the permit, pressurize the system & 1hr of leak detection.  After that it would be their gas hourly rate of $120 + parts find & Fix.   We did have to wait 3 days for them to come out because they are a small company but I assure you it was well worth the wait.

Thomas Sheffield (the owner's son) arrived promptly @ 9am, was professional, explained everything before he began (during the process) and answered all questions I had.  (I'm new to living in a house with Gas)  Once all was said & done, leak was found under the house (a gas pipe was being held off the ground by brick instead of being hung from the floor joist with galvanized strapping and had eaten a hole in the brick at the point of contact), fixed, and the rest of the gas system under the house was raised and strapped CORRECTLY to prevent any further issues.

The entire process ended taking about 7 hours & was less than what the home warranty guy wanted just to get started!

They were prompt, professional, efficient, very reasonably priced, curteous & most importantly quality.

Great company. Great communication. Great price. The overall process was very smooth, Louis kept me updated every step of the way. They came when they said and finished on schedule!

Had an issue when I cut our main water line doing some fence work on a weekend (of course). I got Mullins to come out first thing on Monday morning and they got to work immediately. Got the water line flushed out and restored service to the house promptly. My only complaints were the lack of up-front pricing, and they dug a second hole to hook up their equipment even though I had a perfectly good hole already dug.

Leak Geeks Plumbing answered my Yelp request immediately.  Brad came out and explained why the hot water heater was leaking and the repairs needed.  We agreed to the initial repair to stop the leak.  He returned the next day to replace the hot water heater.  He did not try to sell us an appliance, which was nice.  My husband and made the decision.  We felt good about being informed of our options and not pushed.  Brad is great.  We will use Leak Geeks in the future for sure!

I was so happy with that purchase that when I was in need of a hot water heater, I called Force Home Services.  The rep showed me the advantages and savings potential of going with a Tankless water heater.  It was a little more expensive up front, but I can tell you that my gas consumption has dropped 24% since it was installed.  The real bonus is instant hot water to every faucet and we never run out of hot water,  even with a house full of guests showering at the same time.  Highly recommend Josh Price, the sales rep form Force Home Service, he is excellent at what he does and will make sure that you and your home are his first concern.  Give them a try, you will not regret the call.

These guys are great! They worked me in even though they had a busy day. Made all the repairs I needed and at what I think was probably a more than fair price. I'll be using them from now on.

Had a gas line rerouted to the kitchen and a new kitchen faucet installed.  Crew came on time, worked with dispatch, were friendly,  knowledgeable, and professional.  What more can one ask?  Hire local!

Karl & his team are awesome. I originally called them on recommendation from several neighbors via Nextdoor & I am glad I did. Every time I've needed them to check something out, they have been there within a day. They do quick, clean, honest work & I will never call any other plumber as long as I live in Dallas. I've had them unclog drains, replace my old main gas line, and clean up messes that my pool contractors plumbers created. If you need a plumber these are your guys!

I only called these folks because my regular tried and true folks don't work on weekends.  I had a leak coming from the wall on Friday night of a holiday weekend.  Good news is the Bakers Brothers folks  were available by phone first thing Saturday morning and the appointment setter was very pleasant and courteous.  They were able to get someone out to me on a holiday weekend Saturday.  The bad news is that the technician took very cursory information from me, did a quick little look around and said the leak was from a pipe inside the wall and he wasn't qualified/didn't have equipment to deal with that.  He said I would need a leak detector technician to come out on Tuesday after the holiday weekend.  He also said that it seemed to him very likely that it was a leak from a pipe in my slab which would be very expensive.  So I paid him the $39 trip fee and went without water for the next three days.  Then I called the other company that I usually use, and they got right out there Tuesday morning.  Their technicians did what seemed logical to me in that they actually ran the water, saw it coming out, did some measuring and determined a small area that they figured the leak would be in, cut out a small piece of sheetrock, found the leak, and fixed it.  It took less than two hours and cost only $220.00.  Now why couldn't Bakers Brothers do that?  

In their defense both the service manager and customer service manager responded quickly and caringly to my complaint and my $39 trip fee is going to be refunded.  Also they assured me that wasn't the way the service call should have been handled and they would get with the technician and address the issue to improve future performance.  I might give them another chance if I was in a pinch on a weekend.
