I use yelp quite frequently but have never felt compelled to write a review until now. I had a faulty water-heater, something about the thermal couple; being that my water heater was under warranty, I got the new part from APEX and searched for a plumber. After Baker Brothers came out twice, and wanted to charge more than the heater was worth, I took to yelp and found Pelayo. He was extremely professional, very knowledgeable and fixed my water-heater in no time. I've never been so impressed with a plumbing service in my life. I wish I could give him a sixth star, but five will have to suffice.

Skillful, honest forthright.

We called Direct Source after another local plumbing concern sent out what turned out to be a salesman in response to our request to auger a stopped up drain. The salesman spent some time surveying our situation and, it seemed, surveying my wife and me to see how much they could milk us for. They wanted almost $800 to get an actual plumber/tech to come behind the salesman and do the job. Charged us $39 (reduced from $69, so I guess we got a bargain) for the service call.

Direct Source sent a real plumber, Wes Hart, who showed up at our door promptly. He discussed some potential solutions if our problem persists, but did a basic clean out for $160 that seemed to make the most sense as what ought to try before turning to more drastic options.

Called Chris on Saturday morning and he was able to come out to complete my repair later in the afternoon.  He assessed and completed the repair quickly. He price was reasonable and he did a great job!  Definitely recommend......

A+++++  Service. Michael was quick to return his calls with in a very reasonable amount of time. His estimate to install a new water heater that I needed was far less than other estimates, and for a namebrand heater. He didn't increase his price once he got here or after he was done. He didn't give me any BS or try to upsell anything.

He gave me a two hour time window that he would show up and he showed up about five minutes before the time started. He gave me an estimate on how long it would take to install the heater and he got that done a little before then.

He seems to be the type plumber that will give you a fair and reasonable price and will not try to upsell you want anything. He'll tell you exactly what you need or what he suggests you do and then it's up to you to accept his recommendation.

If you need plumbing work, a water heater installation, etc., read over a couple other reviews here on yelp and then give Michael a call. In fact, you can save yourself a lot of time and money by just calling him directly  without researching a lot of other companies.  But, do your due diligence, look at other reviews on other providers and then give Michael a call!

I gathered a few different estimates but landed on ABC Plumbing after meeting with Sergio.  He seemed knowledgeable and confident in what he believed the problem to be.  And he was right!  Sergio and Daniel did an outstanding job!!!  I will definitely be calling them again when needed!

Love this neighborhood local plumber. He and his father have been doing plumbing for years! I've been using them for about 6 years myself. They are reliable and honest.

Price gouging! I've used this company in the past for plumbing work and believed they were honest and fair. So when my AC went out in August I gave them a call. The problem was pretty straight forward. The fan motor needed replacing.

From the time of arrival, it probably took the technician less than two hours to diagnose and replace the unit. The motor itself isn't costly, $250 if I were to buy it myself. Total cost... $1358! That's over 500 dollars an hour and they know they can charge it because time is a luxury I can't afford when my family is sweating it out in a hot house in the peak of summer.

Desperation will make you agree to some terrible terms. It eats away at me that I allow myself to be taken advantage of by companies like this. Do yourself a favor and seek help elsewhere.

We had an emergency and after calling 10 companies this was the first to come out. Family owned and operated. They were very professional, knowledgeable and saved the day. We will definitely use them again.

We have a home warranty but we had to wait several days for our appointment. I was getting nervous about all the noises I was hearing from my water heater. I began looking for a company that could come out right away and advise whether I could wait for the appointment or if we were in the middle of an 'emergency'.
I appreciated the speed of their response which was less than 15 minutes. I also appreciated their professionalism and courtesy. They ended up telling me that I could wait for the warranty appointment and made me feel better about my water heater not causing some calamity in my home.
I recommend this company.

I was going some carpentry for a remodel of one of our bathrooms on a Sunday afternoon... what could possibly go wrong... and after knocking in a finish nail I suddenly heard a hissing noise from the wall.

TLC came out right away and had the leak fixed just a couple of hours after I'd made it.  While there, TLC did a couple of additional jobs that helped us get this bathroom remodel done in time for holiday guests.

TLC also came out quickly after a slow drip in a toilet line they connected was apparent the next day and they fixed it.

Great support and prompt, quality work.

My sewer chose the worst possible time to back up, right in the middle of the worst winter freeze in decades. I contacted Mullins Plumbing via Yelp and they were surprisingly quick to respond, again given the weather conditions. They showed up the next morning and in no time had the sewer cleared. Unfortunately they didn't know what clogged the line, only that it was something hard as they were not able to obtain a sample. But they were fairly confident it wasn't roots. With all the bad weather, power outages and 50+ calls they were working for that day they were still able to schedule me in for that morning. Definitely two thumbs up! Thank you Mullins Plumbing!!!

Said there was a leak that was going to cost 10K to repair - got second opinion with more through testing and there was no leak

I love this company! I am a comfort club member, so they come out quarterly to change my A/C filter and do maintenance.  They installed the A/C, which has been great, and take care of all of my plumbing needs, too.  As a single mom, I have been taken advantage of PLENTY of times in the past 20 years.  I've always felt I was being dealt with squarely by this company.  There have been times they could have gotten away with charging much more.  Also, they usually give me the option of buying the new part or appliance myself that they will install since it is far cheaper to do it this way.  My technician today, Jorge, gave me outstanding service!

Kind and professional! We had a ceiling leak and our plumbing is in the attic. We found the source under the insulation and wet boards under some plumbing. We thought we had a slow leak somewhere. We called on a Sunday and left a voicemail explaining our issue. We we called back on Sunday evening (not a usual thing since he has a route) and we were out on first thing Monday morning.

He came out and found it to be a roof leak instead. Very thorough and a nice guy all around. We asked how much we owed him and he said not a thing since ehe didn't do anything. He just asked we call him if we need a plumber again. Which we MOST DEFINITELY will. And you should too.

I don't usually write reviews, but these guys certainly deserved it.  We had water gurgling up from our front yard and dug up the area to find what we thought was the water main leaking.  We tried to fix it ourselves, but it just leaked.  So after being without water for a couple days we called multiple plumbing businesses and Carrollton Plumbing was the only one to answer the phone.  The guy said we always answer our phones.  They were booked solid but still sent some guys out within 3 hours to take a look at what we had and give us an estimate.  They showed up when promised and quickly informed us that what we were looking at was the supply to our sprinkler system, not the water main.  They turned off the main shutoff to the sprinkler system and got us our water back on in the house.  Hooray!!  They said that we were well on the way to fixing it correctly, just using the wrong glue.  They told us that they would hate to have to charge us the $400 to re-do the repair when we could just do it ourselves again with the correct glue.  They told us what to buy and headed back to their truck.  When I asked how much for the service call, they said no charge! Just call us next time you need a plumber.  We certainly will and will recommend them to others as well.  Honesty over greed is a rare thing in businesses this day, and it was a real breath of fresh air dealing with these guys.

Great service!  We moved our refrigerator in anticipation of getting a new one the next day.  The water line for the ice maker could not be turned off and we couldn't fix it because it was soldered on.  We had to turn off the water to the house and find someone to fix it ASAP. We called several companies, one telling us they could be out in a week.  Mai Plumbing, however, gave us a window of time that they could be out that very day.  They arrived early during the window, fixed the problem promptly, the plumber was very professional, and it was a very reasonable price.  We recommend them highly,

After posting this review, Baker Brothers sent me a refund check for the amount they charged me for the visit where they gave me the estimate. Thanks very much. It was the right thing to do and very appreciated.
