Luis performed an excellent job with installing new duct work and a vent hood. The cost was reasonable and he was able to complete the project in a timely manner. I would recommend this company for your next home project.
Totally worth it!
What a remodel! We had our kitchen, staircase and 2.5 bathrooms remodeled. TLC group did an amazing job! Our house has been transformed! They payed attention to every fine detail. We completely trusted our team in our home. They were super friendly and even great to our dogs. We are so happy with the results.
I have had the privilege of working with Luis on multiple projects now. He is a great communicator, and his team also does exceptional work. He has helped me with tasks as simple as paint and as challenging as replacing posts for the covered patio, working with the city on permitting cement work, etc. He has always been fair and always been kind. He is in a challenging business where reputation typically leads to more business. If you read this, I recommend calling Luis; we have upcoming projects, and he will be our go-to guy. I have had The TLC Group working on some remodeling on my garage this summer. They have had to straighten the front wall while reframing and replacing the door. It was leaning in. They did an excellent job of it. They also completely reframed the back door and replaced it. Also installing siding on all three sides of the garage. And installing a storm screen door on the front porch. They still have a little bit left to do but I thought I'd go ahead and let everyone know that if you want some quality work done. I'm getting ready for a large-scale remodel/repair of my late father's house. Luis from TLC came out and walked through the house with me. He had wonderful ideas on design as well as solid knowledge on the technical things that need to happen. He answered all my questions (no matter how dumb I felt they were) thoroughly and kindly. He was so understanding about the headspace I am in right now about my father and the house, too. He worked up very detailed and clear estimates of a couple of ways the work can go and was happy to answer my follow-up questions via text. I can't wait to work with him!

My garage ceiling was damaged by busted pipe during the 2021 winter storm. It was very hard to get any handyman, and I finally got hold of Luis at TLC Group. They promptly repaired ceiling drywall for a reasonable price.
TLC Group Services came out to take a look at our shower to give us their opinion of whether it needed to be replaced. They didn't need to do anything, but I really appreciated their honest advice, will definitely use them in the future!

I was impressed by their quick response. Luis listened to what I wanted in the master bath and delivered at a very reasonable price. The subs who did the work were exceptional and cleaned up after each day. Luis did his best to exceed my expectations, and succeeded!
Truly enjoyed the service I received from Luis and his group. They were very responsive when reframing my garage door area due to termite damage. I would highly recommend.
We needed to have the old 70s wood paneling painted in our main livingroom. We contacted TLC Services for an estimate and Luis came out. He gave us a quote for the painting but discussed some lighting issues we had. That wasn't in our initial plan but he gave us such a fair price that we couldn't say no. We had a ceiling fan in the dining area that needed replacing and he took care of that too! Needless to say, my husband and I couldn't be happier with the work. From the electricians to the painters to Luis himself, everyone was super nice to work with. The whole job took about 2 1/2 days so not only was the price fair but it was done in a timely manner too!
One more thing I want to mention. Luis was EXCELLENT when it came to returning my texts and communicating everything up front when it came to the process and any issues that popped up along the way. (There's nothing worse than being hit with surprise charges at end.) I reappreciate him keeping us informed. Luis has great customer service skills and let me tell you. That goes a long way these days!! We will DEFINITELY be using TLC Services again and will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who will listen! Thank you so much!!!
TLC did a fantastic job with our projects. They did a full kitchen makeover with touchups in the bathrooms that were semi-major. The work was flawless and their attention to detail was amazing. They never left until the job was done to our satisfaction. I highly recommend Luis and his team and would definitely hire them again to do anything to our home.
Repair of frozen/busted copper pipe repair cost me $867. It took them a total of 10 minutes to repair.. i already had the wall opened up prior to plumbers arrival.. This is an example of an unethical EXTREME OVERCHARGE! Taking advantage of homeowners during emergency weather conditions.
They may actually do great work during non-emergency situations, but when you take advantage of homeowners it tells all I need about the character and integrity of the ownership team. There is a reason that they are not listed with the Better Business Bureau.
Do yourself a favor and find another contractor

The job ended up taking longer than expected. Luis made everything better by doing a couple of extra projects for me at no charge. They were very nice and professional.
Amazing service and professionalism. Luis came out for an estimate the same day I called to inquire. Incredibly responsive and professional. His workers were just as great. Besides the excellent job they did in my home, they were very polite, took covid precautions seriously by wearing their masks the entire time, made sure to protect all of our belongings before painting, kept everything very clean and organized and overall did an excellent job on the project. Looking forward to having them do more work in our home!
During the deep freeze in Feb '21, several of our pipes froze and being from California, we were freaking out. I called Luis, and even though the roads were too bad for house visits, he walked me through how to thaw the pipes and also calmed us down about what would happen when the pipes thawed naturally. We have PEX plumbing and everything turned out fine. We were really appreciative of Luis taking the time to walk us through.
I called them so many times and left voicemails too. Still haven't heard back. Found another guy and happy with the service.
Very helpful! My kitchen faucet was frozen and they tried to help me via text to figure something out since there is a storm outside. They didn't have to do that but was very comforting to try something during the interim. While the faucet is still pending (they said they could come out when weather resolved in case what they suggested did not work), I am very pleased by how quickly they got back in touch and their willingness to help me out remotely.
I just bought my first home, and it needed to be brought into the 2000s. So I contacted Luis and his crew to help me resurface the walls because there was this ugly texture from the 80s on it, paint it because it was so dark and Cave-like, and then add some recessed lighting and new trim. They totally blew me away with the finished product. My house looks like a brand new house even though it is 35 years old. They gave me exactly what I wanted and we're very professional. I enjoyed chatting and hanging out with the crew when they were working in my house and Luis listen to me and gave me suggestions on what I should do to improve the home. I am so in love with what they did... I will definitely call them to do some more work very soon. I have already recommended them to my neighbors. Thank you so so much
One of the hardest parts about a contracting project is finding contractors who will respond quickly. Good contractors stay busy and still find a way to respond to new inquiries. I had a project at my house that was suddenly revealed to be much bigger and more urgent and TLC was fast to respond even on a weekend. Thanks so much!!

I was going some carpentry for a remodel of one of our bathrooms on a Sunday afternoon... what could possibly go wrong... and after knocking in a finish nail I suddenly heard a hissing noise from the wall.
TLC came out right away and had the leak fixed just a couple of hours after I'd made it. While there, TLC did a couple of additional jobs that helped us get this bathroom remodel done in time for holiday guests.
TLC also came out quickly after a slow drip in a toilet line they connected was apparent the next day and they fixed it.
Great support and prompt, quality work.
Very satisfied with my bathroom countertop..
Came out better than I thought..wonderful job.

Excellent service! Scheduled for a painting of cabinets and had to reschedule with the shelter in place. Luis always keep me in the loop on availability and his crew was excellent. Very professional and great results! I would highly recommend TLC for your next home project.
Called this company the week of March 7th and spoke with Luis to come out, look at an old room addition that I wanted torn down and maybe some other services. When I spoke to Luis he said that they did do that sort of work and we made an appointment for Thursday, March 18th between 4-6 pm to get an estimate. Well, Thursday came but Luis never showed up, and nobody called to say Luis couldn't make it, or that he was running late or needed to reschedule the appointment - NOTHING. I'm glad this happened now before I got involved because I would be seriously mad if I WAS a customer and found out this company didn't honor their word. First impression is major. Thanks for nothing, will be going with another contractor.

So I recently moved in to a new place and two toilets were leaking into the flooring on my second floor. The leak had permeated the subflooring so I had TLC remove all the existing tile in both bathrooms, repair the subflooring (along with some floor supporting joists underneath), relay new tile down, and install two new toilets. I attached a pic of one of the finished bathrooms, and a before/after pic of the other bathroom . Given the end result I would rate the work done throughout the construction process to be 5 stars. The only reason I gave the review 4 stars is due to the length of time it took. The work started October 8th and completed November 5th, so almost a month for what could have been a 1.5 to 2 week job if they worked every day. Usually someone would do some work one day, and then it'd be at least 2 or 3 days until they came for another day to do some more. I understand due to COVID or other circumstances things may have been slower, but it would have been nice to receive a heads up going into it. If you have a large job I'd just recommend asking for a time estimate. For a smaller job I don't think this would be an issue. Overall though, like I said, they did a very good job on the demolition and tiling so I'd still definitely recommend TLC. If I have any smaller jobs in the future I will be calling them up!
TLC was great and Luis was extremely fast with the job. They were able to show-up same day and came with masks for safety. My faucet had a very small leak after the work was completed, and Luis said he would come back to solve the issue. You can trust them to get the job done with great follow-up service if anything happens after.
Luis came out the same day I called and repaired our broken shower faucet. Very professional work and a very nice guy. I highly recommend TLC.

Had a leak in the faucet and came by same day to fix it up. Very quick and easy. Would recommend to anyone.
Fixed the blurbing leak and was very professed polite. Would recommend him to others. I did not give him five stars as he was not punctual - said that he will arrive between 2 and 4 and reached around 5 after a few reminders.
