I own a property management company and finding reliable and knowledgeable plumbers has been the single biggest obstacle we have encountered. However, when we found Professor Plumber, we knew we would have a great vendor partner. Several days ago, I personally experienced a plumbing issue at my own home and when I called, they were here within a couple of hours, cleaned the line, ran the camera and determined the cause. Tyler was diligent and did not give up until he located the problem. With this old house, it's always with great anxiety that I have a plumbing issue because I do have cast iron but working with Professor Pipes, my mind is at ease knowing they're going to be honest, thorough and with reasonable pricing. This gives me comfort also knowing they are servicing my property management clients with the same level of care. Highly recommend.

I used Evans Professional to replace the drain system in my home. They showed up as scheduled, and completed the entire job very quickly. I hardly even knew they were here. The job price was very fair. I highly recommend these honest and professional plumbers.

Honest, reasonable fees, and exceptional quality.  

I needed a plumber to look over the plumbing at my new house, which was a foreclosure.  The house had gone through a winter without anyone living in it - 6+ months without running water and several extremely cold snaps (think Super Bowl 2011 weather!) and I figured there would be some plumbing issues.

I was new to Rockwall and didn't know a good plumber yet.  I wanted someone who would pssoess the qualities above.  A friend of mine told me about Pathway Plumbing, so I decided to give them a try.

Jeremy and his merry band of plumbers did great work.  They fixed all that ailed my house - and at a price that didn't leave me weeping.  Since then, I've had them back a time or two (NOT to fix what they didn't get right, but for different issues!).  Each time, they've been super.

They were like Boy Scouts - you know:  trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly,
courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.

OK, so a couple of those may be a stretch, but you get the idea.

Thank you Kenny's Plumbing!  We now live in Chino Valley, Az., and have had water pressure problems for a year now.  The homeowner warranty company has been sending a plumbing company that has been to our house 3 times and the problem does not go away by replacing the pressure valve, and that plumber said he would not come back!  

Kenny's Plumbing came out today and diagnosed the problem to be the expansion tank and even moved it to the other side of the water heater, bad installation 13 years ago!  Most of the pipes and fittings were on their last legs and they replaced all of them.  

We are so impressed with the knowledge and professionalism!  We will be telling our neighbors for sure!  THANK YOU KENNY'S PLUMBING

I am somewhat reluctant to write a negative review of Starnes Plumbing, as I have previously very satisfactorily used the company on several plumbing projects.  However, my latest attempt to engage them has been completely fruitless, and due to their lack of communication I am clueless what has happened to their service levels.

I first contacted Starnes via email on Aug 5, 2022.  After some elapsed period with no response, I contacted them again, but this time by phone.  Within a few days, Brett came to my home to get further information on my potential projects and, upon leaving, promised to get back to me.

It is now mid-November 2022.  I never heard one word back from them, even though after a few weeks of silence I tried to ping them a text message and phone. At that point, sometime in early October, I was told by a woman who answered the phone that Starnes does not have enough people to timely respond.

I have proceeded with my own projects DIY, no thanks at all to Starnes Plumbing.  Their response was extremely poor (non-existent).  I am sorry to say they will not receive any business from me in the future, despite their good, professional and prompt service in the past.

I had originally called another company who was unsuccessful in remedying the problem. Called Made and they came out to fix my backed up pipes on short notice. Got my issue solved in a short amount of time and with the utmost professionalism. Thanks Ben!

These guys were great. We had two jobs:

First, we had them replace old light switches, outlets and smoke alarms. They did a great job and ensured everything was working and cleaned up afterwards. They explained everything and answered all of our questions.

Second job was to install 50 Amp circuit breaker and run wires to new outlet. Again everything was spot on!

100% will use them again. Trustworthy, honest, fair and nice to work with.

Good news: They arrived at the time that they promised on the phone, and they fixed the problem.

Bad news: The job took far longer than it should have, and I was paying by the hour.

One star *would* have been my rating, but I am giving them three, as they were willing to negotiate with me on the price after-the-fact.  I sent a straightforward non-antagonistic letter to them 48 hours later (after we'd both had time to cool-off) and they did refund part of their original bill back to me.  I still feel that I was overcharged for the job, but at least it wound up being moderately high instead of outrageously high.

Painful lesson that I have learned: No matter how simple the job appears, do not let work begin without an estimate.  (And it was a simple job, not just in my own opinion, but also that of a city plumbing employee.  It is a mystery to me, even now, to understand why the job took as long as it did.)  Had I requested an estimate up-front, they would have been much more likely to quote a fair price, and stuck to it, regardless of how long the job took.  Live and learn.

Horrible service. Quoted fir a repair failed to make a repair then asked for a bill. Never fixed the issue didn't even diagnose the issue. Never communicated unless there was money involved.

Got here on time. Spent a lot of time sourcing the problem. Jeff is very professional and I felt comfortable having him go around the house.  He was nice to our dog too, lol. I would call him again if we ever needed to (although I would much prefer to not have any plumbing issues).

I'm really really impressed with this entire operation. Clear communication from the office. Quick, friendly, knowledgeable plumbers on the job, and I know I was charged fair for the work done. GPS will get my money anytime I have a plumbing problem from now on. I know I can trust them to do the job and do it right, and to charge me fairly for it.

I had an appointment with Jose scheduled for an issue with my sink. When I spoke to him on the phone before the appointment, he was able to talk me through what the issue might be and explain to me how to test/fix it. His instructions ended up allowing me to fix what was a relatively simple issue, when he justifiably could've just waited until the appointment and charged me the service call fee. The fact that he prioritized helping me over his own financial gain speaks to his integrity and the fact that he can be trusted to have the best interests of the customer in mind--something that is rare. I would highly recommend Cuellar Plumbing, and would be happy to use the company again if I have future plumbing needs.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would.  After changing plumbers from another local plumber we had been with for decades.  I simply cannot imagine ever using another plumber.  We have in recent months had a bevy of plumbing issues.  One of which was to fix the original fix by our former plumber and it was a fraction of the price for twice as much work,

And now, as I write this we are having our hot water heater replaced.  They worked us into their already busy schedule.  Our plumber actually came with a new hot water heater.  

Their prices are competitive and still better work and less expensive.  They are worth every penny and take great pride in their work.

My compressor was making loud noises and sounded like something electrical. When the techs go there they immediately told me it was my compressor. The diagnosis was that I needed to replace my compressor and condenser, low end was going to be $4000 to $6000. Long story short I got a second opinion from Speedy Services . Luis, the tech, took the compressor apart and found an electrical short, replaced it and I spent less than $200. I feel that Xtreme Air Services techs were trying to take advantage of me because I didn't know diddly squat about AC. Calling for a second opinion was a crucial decision and I'm glad I did it.

The plumber that came out was courteous and did clean up, but I had a big problem with their pricing structure that wasn't fully revealed until after the work was done.  It turns out they have a materials charge for several things that aren't really materials but rather the use of equipment, such as a basic augur ($15 materials fee), etc. They also charged $10 for him using gloves and a rag to wipe up. I called to talk to them about it and said it's the first time a plumber has charged me an additional fee (on top of the 146/hr fee) for the use of their tools, plus I had mentioned before I had the same augur in my garage to the guy when he first showed up. To me this is the equivalent of a mechanic charging me extra to use a wrench, caliper or any other basic tool needed to do the job above and beyond the service fee.  The office told me that's what they have to do and have done for 50 years, end of story.  Oh well, the search continues for a go-to plumber I can fully trust.
