I own a property management company and finding reliable and knowledgeable plumbers has been the single biggest obstacle we have encountered. However, when we found Professor Plumber, we knew we would have a great vendor partner. Several days ago, I personally experienced a plumbing issue at my own home and when I called, they were here within a couple of hours, cleaned the line, ran the camera and determined the cause. Tyler was diligent and did not give up until he located the problem. With this old house, it's always with great anxiety that I have a plumbing issue because I do have cast iron but working with Professor Pipes, my mind is at ease knowing they're going to be honest, thorough and with reasonable pricing. This gives me comfort also knowing they are servicing my property management clients with the same level of care. Highly recommend.

Finally an honest plumber who doesn't milk the job so he can over bill me for extra hours . He Got to work quickly , found the leak & fixed it. Very pleased , highly recommend .

I can not say enough about Jeremy and Pathway plumbing.  Two years ago (with a neighbor's recommendation) he put in my hot water heater.   I called monday because my outdoor faucet had sprung a leak and he was at my home within a few hours.   He is kind, honest and does a fabulous job.  I'm so happy to find, support and promote small businesses!

Kenny and his son replaced my water heater and they did a wonderful job. They both were very knowledgeable, courteous, and precise. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the Verde Valley. And I would also use them again.

Starnes Plumbing really is an honest company.  I had a leak in my yard a few months ago at the meter causing a $300+ water bill that had supposedly been fixed (twice) by another company over a three month span.  (A second company recommended a total replacement of the pipe from the meter to the house for an estimated cost of $2300 -- based solely upon my phone call. They never even looked at it.)  I called Starnes Plumbing first thing on a Monday morning, got a call back within 10 minutes, and Brett said he'd take a look that morning.  I got a text a few hours later stating that it was fixed!  I asked him his opinion about replacing the pipe to the house. Why? It's PVC. You have no tree roots encroaching on it. It was just a joint that was leaking.  Oh, and his bill was $140 less than the other company whose work he had to re-do. So yeah, Starnes Plumbing is the only one I'll ever call when I need a plumber.

I had originally called another company who was unsuccessful in remedying the problem. Called Made and they came out to fix my backed up pipes on short notice. Got my issue solved in a short amount of time and with the utmost professionalism. Thanks Ben!

Excellent company! All great communication, great work and very reasonable! Would highly trust and will use again!

Had a leaking bathtub faucet. Called one of the chain plumbing outfits who quoted $512; $476 if I joined a membership. Wtw? Called Lewisville Plumbing Service and they had had a cancellation and were able to fit us in. Ten minutes after arrival, the part was replaced, problem fixed, and for less than $200. Score one for the local guys!

Make sure to get an estimate before allowing them o do any work. We asked for an estimate, they hedged...said they couldn't get one...then did the work anyway and seriously overcharged us.

I complained to their dispatch who connected me with the owner. He first insisted his guys would ALWAYS give an estimate when asked. I assured him that we had asked for an estimate and needed a significant discount in order to be happy. He said that he would check with his guys to confirm.

It's been months and I have not heard back. I've finally given up hope that they will refund a portion of the money.

To be clear: they got the job done and fixed everything correctly (2 stars instead of 1), but they were shady with estimates and unreasonable prices.

DO NOT APPROVE REPAIRS WITHOUT AN ESTIMATE IN HAND (and then maybe get a competitive bid if their estimate seems high)

Just a lead farm for independent plumbers.  I called this morning requesting a service call for a water softener.  I explained the problem in detail.  They said they would call back when they had checked their schedule for availability.  I got a call back from a different number, seemed like might not have been the same person, but since I had only called one plumber, I figured it had to be the same guy.  We spoke and agreed on a 5PM service call to work on my water softener.  I took photos of the unit and sent a detailed text, to which he confirmed. They said someone would be here at 5PM.

5:15 PM  no one is here, no ones has called, so I call them back, they said they would call the technician and call me right back. At 5:35PM, still no call back.  I call again the technician is wrapping up another job, he'll be right there  5:45PM the technician calls me and says...so what are we doing today, installing a water filter?  I said no, you're repairing a water softener...I sent pictures and a detailed explanation to your boss.  oh, well we don't really do that, there must have been a miscommunication  So I call the number of the guy I have been texting with...and he sends me to voicemail.  I text him letting him know what happened and asking for an update.  He responds I'll call you in 1 minute  well, that was almost 30 minutes ago.  I would avoid these guys like the plague.

Here is my quick story. 5:30pm and 36 hours before leaving my home for three days, we smell gas outside. Called gas company and within an hour I was told my gas was being shut off as there was a leak on our gas supply line coming into the house. It's January 30th and no gas in our home means no hot water, no furnace, no cooktop/stove. I called Steve at 6:45pm and he answered his phone. While he had a full schedule the following day, he fit me in over the lunch hour. He had to go make/buy the part, pull a permit with the city, replace the corroded pipe and called for inspection. Inspector liked working with him so much (inspector's words), he came within the hour for a same day inspection. His work was approved and I was able to call Gas company by 3:30pm. Had hot water and a stovetop for dinner.
This experience was unlike most all other trade services I have had at my home. Steve was everything I said at the top of this review. I'm already planning on calling him for our next service. He will be switching out my hot water heater in a few months time.

The roads are covered in ice and not only did Jose agree to come help us, he got here early and finished the job in no time. Very kind, very professional! Our ceiling had a leak and it collapsed. I asked for help on the Garland Facebook page and he contacted me immediately. He charged me less than his initial quote and did a beautiful job. I am extremely satisfied with this company.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would.  After changing plumbers from another local plumber we had been with for decades.  I simply cannot imagine ever using another plumber.  We have in recent months had a bevy of plumbing issues.  One of which was to fix the original fix by our former plumber and it was a fraction of the price for twice as much work,

And now, as I write this we are having our hot water heater replaced.  They worked us into their already busy schedule.  Our plumber actually came with a new hot water heater.  

Their prices are competitive and still better work and less expensive.  They are worth every penny and take great pride in their work.  

You won't be disappointed.

It's 38 degrees outside as I write this and its a cozy 68 degrees where I'm sitting due to my new system. It was installed yesterday by the team that anyone would wish for when having someone show up to work at your house. They were on time, polite, professional, and they took the time to answer all my questions and explain everything I needed to know bout the system. Justin and Dakota were the installers and they were meticulous.

Everything was carefully removed, replaced and tested right down the check list to make sure it was done correctly. They went through and made adjustments to the options and settings as per the request of my wife and me, and they even programmed the thermostat to my wife's preferences, and it took them all of about a minute or so to do it. The thermostat was easy to use and intuitive.

It's also worth mentioning...a lot of businesses use the adage leave it cleaner than you found it but these guys made it a serious part of their process.They brought in more tarps to protect the floor than Davinci had when he did the Sistine chapel. Every piece of equipment or doorknob or anything else they touched or came near was wiped down or swept clean before they left. There was not a single piece of wire insulation, or a discarded screw, or piece of cardboard or packing foam left anywhere. I mean...these guys are meticulous.

They did a beautiful job and I can tell the difference in how everything runs. It's quiet, it's more efficient and I'm saving about a quarter of the electricity having just upgraded my old system to this two-ton 14 SEER system.

Again, the installers are Justin and Dakota and our sales rep is Chad. It's going to be quite a while before I may ever need another AC system installed, but if I do, I hope they're still around, because I will request them. Awesome install, Xtreme Air Services!

Public Service Plumbers has done very good work for me but I won't use them again. Yesterday they came to do a job they did before, augering out the kitchen sink cleanout. When they arrived they quoted me a price almost THREE TIMES what had been 2-1/2 years ago. They sorrowfully explained that they've merged with another company, resulting in a change in pricing structure. Sounds like BS to me.
