Cody D. and the gentleman helping him (name of helper?) did an exceptional job repairing my shower. There had been an issue of not being able to turn hot water on. They arrived on time and at each
part of review of the issue and repairs, they kept me updated. They showed me the valve in the wall that was jammed preventing hot water flow, removed the valve without damaging the shower
and replaced it. The cost of repairs were reasonable and they finished the work in a timely manner.

Had a floor furnace go out Cody and Son come out said i needed a pilot generator charged me 534 dollars part didn't fix the problem ,so for 3 hours of work and not fixing the problem, found a crack in one of the heat chambers they said i needed a new furnace , understanable it was like 40 years old the price they told me 6000 dollars found one with installation 2,400 dollars .nice people problem is they don't give you a break down on parts and labor they give you a total thats it,

They are my go to guys now for my HVAC and plumbing issues. Have used them on 2 occasions recently (my house hates me!) and their technicians were fast and friendly. Definitely keeping their number handy in case anything else starts acting up!

I will start by saying the second person who came to resolve the issue when our AC stopped working, Mike, was awesome and apologetic that they had to come out twice in two weeks. That said, we are not happy that they had to come out twice in two weeks for an issue that could have been addressed the first visit, and that's why I'm giving three stars. We needed a tune up so after searching for HVAC companies I found this C&S, mom agreed and made the appointment for us. We had a tune up and we're told our system would hold all summer. Our system has an auto shut off if there's too much water in the line, and in the past we've experienced it shutting itself down because water needed to be vacuumed out/the line cleared. We wanted to be proactive and make sure this was addressed before an auto shutdown. Mom asked the tech for confirmation once the tune up was done that the line/pan all of that drain part was okay and nothing needed to be vacuumed flushed. We were told there was no issue and things looked good. No need for a clearing. He told us the pricing and offered us their maintenance plan which would make it a little cheaper and we went with that.

Then, a week later when the AC shut itself down and we had to call again. I will say we were able to get someone out the next day which was a major relief! The issue was the auto shutdown because it needed to be flushed. Mike was very apologetic and got things flushed and running again. I'm happy with his service. We're just upset they had to come out twice and we had to pay twice when it could have been done the first time they came out during the tune up.

C&S is very responsive, we appreciate their urgent list and the way they're able to get people out quickly. I appreciate that they were masked as we have someone in our home with intense health issues, but I do wish the first person who came was more mindful about wearing his mask properly. Overall, their workers are kind and respectful which is a bonus. Unfortunately, it's a 3/5 rating and we're hesitant to trust them again. Between their pricing and having to pay a significant amount of money across two weeks, and the issue not being resolved properly the first time, it's difficult to say we'd return. Although mom said we could use them again for winter servicing, I'm hesitant to have them do that despite us paying for the plan. We have since noticed another concern with our HVAC system that needs to be resolved but, as I said, after our experience, we're not sure we will reach out to have them handle this project.

Pleasure to deal with but it feels very weird when they send out two people to give me a $1,600 quote to install a water filter. Another company happily did it for under $200. What could explain this difference or do they just not expect you to bother contacting someone else?

This is not a good company to spend your money with.  Look for another company!  Cody and sons has no honor.  As long as you pay their high prices they will be very nice to you.  As soon as you change your mind about a service...  they get obnoxious, rude and disrespectful.  This company tried to charge me 300 dollars to drain the hot water heater.  When I told them I found another place that charges 100 dollars for the same exact service the lady who takes the calls got an attitude.  
Its 2022... if you cannot provide exceptional service with a price to match... I will not be spending my money with you!  Good riddance!!!!!!

The toilet was fixed in about one hour. Mother was advised that a general contractor would have to fix the under-floor shower leaks (and use another shower in the meantime, of course).

I definitely recommend Cody and Sons. They also serviced the air conditioner last year.

Hands down the best company they are fast friendly and reliable. They keep you posted from the moment you  place work order to when they are in route and  they send you texts and call you (updating you and giving you the name and picture of tech who will be providing the service for you AC or plumbing issue. This way you know who to expect, they are so kind they just go above and beyond from customer service to the techs or service people they send to do job.  They really make you feel like you are their top priority  and treat you as such. I have used this company serval times and they just keep getting better. They were faster then the home warranty and cheaper and more efficient. They are the best.

Attempted to reach them for an appointment via their website chat feature and the appointment setup feature. Two days later, haven't heard a peep via phone, text, or email, and the supposed appointment is tomorrow morning.  A bummer since they had such good reviews, but also, I've now wasted two days that I could have been waiting for someone who is actually going to come fix the issue.

Buyer super beware. Ok, these guys are a rip-off, on the phone they said to diagnose a problem if not repaired it was $79, and that amount would go towards any repair. if no repair just the $79. They came and diagnosed 2 problems, they didn't fix either of them but wanted to charge $450!!! Also, they claimed they would come between 1-4 pm showed up at 6:30 pm. Filing complaint with BBB also, to help others avoid being taken. Also when tech left the house heard him mutter fu___er, asked him to repeat that but just walked away-outrageous all around.

I had my AC serviced by Trey and he did an excellent job.  He was friendly and professional and took the time to explain every step of his process in a way that I could understand.  I highly recommend Cody & Sons.  I've used them for years and always impressed.

My entire interaction with Cody & Sons was excellent! One of my HVAC units went out as I was selling my house and the new owner was already in the location renting at the time. I contacted Cody & Sons for a quote and they responded almost immediately with an offer to come out and diagnose the problem on the same day. I had to reschedule for a couple days later, but Tony showed up when he said he would, troubleshooted the issue, and gave me options on repairing or replacing the unit. He listened to my concerns and, as promised, e-mailed me two quotes first thing the following morning.

The prices quoted for a new unit was way lower than a quote my tenant had gotten from another company (like 50% lower!) I opted for the new unit and within 2 days Tony and his team was able to come out and do the replacement. To note: the HVAC unit was on the 4th floor of my townhouse - they scheduled a crane to remove the unit over the balcony - and all of that with the new unit, crane, AND labor cost less than what another company quoted for just a new unit! Plus you get a Yelp discount if you found  them through Yelp (I did!)

My tenant was there through the process and by the time I went down to the house to check on them later, the unit was up and running. The tenants seemed extremely happy with their work and the service. I know I was. Plus now they have a new unit with a 10 year warranty! I highly recommend Cody & Sons for your AC needs.

Price gouging! I've used this company in the past for plumbing work and believed they were honest and fair. So when my AC went out in August I gave them a call. The problem was pretty straight forward. The fan motor needed replacing.

From the time of arrival, it probably took the technician less than two hours to diagnose and replace the unit. The motor itself isn't costly, $250 if I were to buy it myself. Total cost... $1358! That's over 500 dollars an hour and they know they can charge it because time is a luxury I can't afford when my family is sweating it out in a hot house in the peak of summer.

Desperation will make you agree to some terrible terms. It eats away at me that I allow myself to be taken advantage of by companies like this. Do yourself a favor and seek help elsewhere.

I called Cody and Sons to come out and take a look at my AC system that was not working. Jeff came out and knew exactly what the issue was right away. He quickly fixed the issue, educated me about my system and was just a great guy to shoot the breeze with while he worked. I have always used Cody and Sons for plumbing issues and knew they were top notch. I only became aware that they also handled AC issues this week. After this experience, they will be the only ones I use from now on. Bravo Cody and Sons and Jeff for your professionalism and dedication. You guys are awesome!

We've use them now doe 2 years for HVAC tune-ups. With temperatures approaching triple digits, we wanted to make sure our unit was in good working order. After the service our machine is more efficient and we feel the difference

A thankless job

I want to start out by saying I had high expectations for Cody & Sons as their reviews reflect excellent customer service as well as excellent productivity. However, my experience was none of the sort. I reached out to Cody & Sons on Friday May 1, 2020 because of the random faint smell of sewer in my home. A pretty straightforward conversation was held via text message that resulted in me providing my information through email to schedule an appointment for that following Tuesday May 5, 2020 between the hours of 1-5pm.

Now because we are ALL going through trying times, I felt compelled to let the company know as I was booking my appointment (on May 1st) that I am a ICU nurse and I can provide mask if needed. Never once did anyone reach out to me regarding this information.

Fast forward to  Tuesday May 5 approximately 2:07 in the afternoon, I called to make sure someone was still coming out and the representative I spoke with over the phone confirmed as well as a separate text message came through confirming the appointment.

About an hour later I received a phone call from Randy who identified himself as the owner. Randy told me none of his technicians felt comfortable coming to my home to fulfill the service because I AM A NURSE. Being a nurse is the most thankless job next to law enforcement. I work OVERNIGHT managing very critical patients with life altering medications, bathing, soothing both patient and family, as well as dealing with the anxiety of bringing ANYTHING home to my toddler and husband. The last thing I was ever worried about was being discriminated against because of my line of work.

Randy felt comfortable enough with the response from his 12 technicians to call me and let me know no one was coming out. This was about the only thing honorable with this experience. This encounter followed with two phone calls from two different technicians saying they didn't know about the appointment, which I kindly let one of them know I made this appointment last week. We are now at 3 pm during the scheduled time a technician was suppose to be here. So at this point I am insulted and disappointed in the community I serve.

I PROUDLY work the frontlines and will continue to work the frontlines. But I want to say this, NURSES, practice with the utmost precaution. I can't say the same about the person next to you at the grocery store, gas station, or the person you handed your card to while paying for your food.

Home owners be warned: At first I thought this would be a great company to come out and fix my a/c issues because they communicated well and provided a decent quote in comparison to other companies.  They also have superb reviews here on yelp. Low and behold a month later it gets super cold and for some reason my heater is blowing cold air? Luckily in the past couple of months I was blessed to befriend a technician who offered to come out to my house and see what's going on.... As soon as he went into my attic he saw that whoever came out to work on my unit unplugged whatever cord you need to actually expend heated air (extremely simple fix). He also warned that regardless of good companies the technicians that come out thrive on more (commission) business and therefore issues like this happen.

People work hard for their money and deserve decent honest pricing. The mark up on HVAC equipment is already profitable so it's sad to see that consumers are paying the ultimate price just to live comfortably in cold/hot seasons.

Hoping that my HONEST review helps others and I wish I could recommend another trustworthy company but I have yet to find one.

I live in Plano, TX.  When I finished taking shower at night, I noticed that the shower knob was broken, and could not shut the water!  I was panicked and tried to find 24/7 plumbing service, but no one was available.... and I finally found Cory & Sons Plumbing.  I called and the operator was very kind and arranged dispatching their staff right away even it was after 7 pm.  Then even before the staff (sorry I don't know his name) arrived, he called me to text him the shower knob picture, and guided me how to shut the water on the phone!  So the emergency issue was solved temporarily in an hour!  Thank you, thank you!
Then he arranged Selso to come over my place next day to fix the cracked shower knob completely.  Selso was very polite and professional.  He also fixed my additional issues sufficiently!

We thought we needed a new furnace and chose Cody & Sons because of their rating on both Yelp and the BBB. The first pro that showed up was unfortunately a plumber who could be of no help however he was very pleasant to visit with and got the ball rolling right away to get a heating pro on the way. From arrival to finish, our furnace tech treated us with respect, honesty, sound advice and a big smile. We appreciated his friendly yet professional manner. We would highly recommend Cody & Sons.

We needed an assessment with our plumbing before we bought our house and they were quick to come out. The guys that came out were very friendly and were honest. They explained everything thoroughly.

We then moved in and had an AC issues so we called them for that. They were able to come out that day and explained everything that was going on before they started repairing. The technician named Michael was friendly and knew exactly what he was talking about. I will use them in the future and recommend them to anyone.

They arrived on time, even calling ahead and making sure it was a good time for me. They thoroughly explained what they needed to do, and got my minor bathtub faucet leak fixed quickly and efficiently. I definitely recommend Cody & Sons.

DOWN FROM FIVE STARS. I have loved doing business with Cody & Sons earlier this year and late last year. There were a whole lot of plumbing corrections needed when I moved into a new house which they did professionally, graciously and excellently.  I would really prefer to stay with them, but they've told me their business has grown exponentially, and it looks they are having growing pains.  I called them in March for a blocked toilet in a 1-Bath house, and they said they couldn't come for a week, which was not workable.  I had to call them back for the same problem this week, and was told they couldn't come for *over two weeks.* They promised to try to squeeze me in, but failed to call me back for two days running.  The third day I was desperate, and I got lucky.  They happened to have a plumber near me, and he was able to come right away just before this weekend. They did leave without giving me an estimate for a second job that I'd requested, but I forgot to remind them, too.  One staff person pitched me an annual service plan so I could get quicker service plus preventive maintenance and discounts, but I'm not going to pay 300.00 for that.  Especially not when they used to give me 5 star service without it.  They also left without cleaning the toilet bowl, which was unprecedented for them. I so hate to sever a substantially great business relationship, but I think right now they may be in over their heads.  I asked if it was because of the pandemic, and was told no, it's winterizing season plus they have grown so fast.  Shouldn't stopped up toilets take precedence over winterizing for valued customers?

I had a kitchen sink that wouldn't drain on Friday. I called Cody & Sons but they were booked until Monday. In desperation I tried calling several other plumbers but fortunately received a call back from Cody & Sons that they could come by that evening.

They did, & the job was bigger than I thought it would be but they did a great job, very thorough & the plumbers were very professional & friendly.

We use Cody & Sons exclusively when possible & we highly recommend them to anyone.

Great job by the team today. They had to remove a 42-year-old air handler from a tiny upstairs closet and install a new one; my knees ached just watching.

They put up with my endless questions with a smile (I'm inquisitive), kept the carpeting clean, and thoroughly enjoyed my teasing Aaron :)

You know how it goes.  You do a  small plumbing project in your house and then as you dig in, you realize it's bigger than you can handle.
I picked Cody & Sons because of their yelp reviews.  It was important for me to pick a small local business to support.
They were able to see me within 48 hours (other plumbers were out a week).  I got email, text and phone confirmations.  I knew when they were on their way and they sent an email with a description and photo of   my plumber, Juan.
They showed up on the early side of their 2 hour window, which I really appreciated. They took all the necessary precautions for safety (masks, gloves, sanitizer, etc).  Juan came with a partner (don't recall his name) but they were both polite, professional and knowledgeable.
I told them the situation, they knew what to do.  They explained clearly what was going to be done and why things had broken down.  
The cost to me seemed really fair and they set to work.
Ninety minutes later, they were done, everything was cleaned and our toilet was installed without a hitch.
These guys were great and they offer a 2 year guarantee on the work.
I will totally use them again for future work.

This was my first time using the company. Overall I had an exceptional experience. We had a service tech by the name of Andrew come out and he was on time and very professional. I love the fact that they send a picture of the technician that will be arriving to your home. He was very thorough and took his time explaining what needed to be done. . I will definitely be using them again as my first pick for plumbing.

Just moved into a new house that needed plumbing work (which we knew about from the inspection report). Mike came out to check things out. They found the source of the problems and got them fixed very quickly. Pricing was exactly what they quoted and the additional things we needed were extremely reasonable.
I love that the do multiple services and are in our neighborhood. Everything is running smoothly and they gave us a 2 year guarantee on the work. I hope we don't need any more work done, but if we do we will definitely use Cody and Sons.

Insanely overpriced.  I was out of town when our heater stopped working.  They charged my wife $335 for a replacement wall thermostat.  The exact same model on amazon sells for $32 (plus $84 for installation).  They wanted over $800 for a programmable one, which can be found on amazon for $51 (plus the same $84 for installation).  They clearly took advantage of my wife's lack of knowledge.  Never using this company ever again.

Cody & Sons came out earlier today and worked on my parent's house.   This is the 1st time we have used them, but based on their knowledge, quality of work, pricing (fair/reasonable and accurate), and the manner in which they worked (not killing time and cleaned up after themselves for the most part), we will certainly use them again.

Needed AC drainage checked in a new house. I was able to get a quick appointment and the technician was courteous, knowledgeable, and friendly. I found the service call price was extremely reasonable, and the quote for the repairs to be very fair.

Called today to try and schedule someone to come out and fix a leak in my AC unit. The receptionist was not friendly. She informed me they no longer service the Arlington area, yet both yelp and their site say they do. She said the changed happened this year, but we are halfway through the year already. Hopefully they get it corrected so people like myself are not wasting my time and theirs. I'm sure they provide great service from the other reviews, but as for now my husband and I will go with another provider.

Tony came out to check out my AC.  He quoted me a replacement coil for $2,200 plus a furness for approximately $5,000 to $8,000 .  Luckily, I kept looking around and got the issue fixed for $750.00  The only thing that was wrong was I had a leak in the coil.

I contacted Cody & Sons after reading the yelp reviews. I wanted a second opinion and estimates to replace my 11 year old heating system. A local company sent out a technician that told me my unit repair cost was too costly and replacing the unit was his recommendation.

Cody & Sons sent Jeff out. After going to the attic and seeing that the other technician left the blower motor out he asked if he could put the blower back and check the unit. He stated the blower unit had vibrated loose and couldn't function.

After putting it back together it worked perfectly. Jeff was very meticulous, thorough and courteous. He saved me several thousand dollars. Thanks Jeff for being a professional technician and not a salesman.

Excellent all around!  The whole process was smooth and easy from beginning to end.  They communicated throughout the process.  There was no attempt at upselling.  Jeff was thorough in his work and explanation.  I would highly recommend this company to others!

My entire experience with the company went very well, from my initial communication with two ladies at the office, to clean-up by the two gentlemen who did the installation.

I actually bought two Energy Star water heaters myself, which qualified for nice gas company rebates, and asked several top-rated plumbing companies to bid on only the installation. Cody & Sons had the lowest price, so I went with them and never regretted it.

Two men (Phillip, a Master Plumber and his apprentice Cody) showed up near the beginning of the 2-hour time window (which is always nice).  After seeing my old and new water heaters and the difficult accessibility to the installation spaces, Phillip quickly realized that they would need a third helper since the units weighed about 150 lbs each and had to go straight up into the opening at the pull-down stairs in order to clear the hatch springs.

They went right to work, putting shoe covers on and covering everything in the house that might get wet or damaged. The third helper arrived in another truck once they were ready to install the new water heaters. The installation went very smoothly.  They cleaned the attic areas and the house so that you could never tell they were there.

They made sure that I was satisfied with the job in every way, and gave me a two-year warranty on the work. I've found that, when your company reflects your family name, you tend to take pride in your work and that was the case here. I would call Cody & Sons again in a heartbeat!

This is a great company. Our A/C downstairs unit stopped working and we were dreading the price. I set up the appointment through Yelp messaging and it was super easy. My mom was the one who met them and she said they were on-time and really nice. A belt broke, so it was an easy fix at a good price. I would definitely recommend using this company!

We used this Company, for the first time, yesterday. Was quoted a price of $69.00 for a service call, to check furnace, which had been making a very loud noise. Franco and Frank arrived promptly, as scheduled. They were here, well over an hour.
They re-glued interior insulation, aligned the fan-motor, checked duct work and replaced our filter. Expected the invoice to be very high. Was totally surprised when told $69.00 !
No added, unexpected fees. Such as trip charge, diagnostic fee. etc., etc.
Fast, professional, courteous! A very pleasant experience from beginning to end. Highly recommend.

I highly recommend this company. My hot water tank ruptured and they worked me into their schedule that day. The lady answering the phone was very polite and later that morning followed up with a call to let me know that they finished a job early and could come out sooner than scheduled. The technicians were clean cut and professional. They did a great job and even cleaned up the mess after the installation. The price is very reasonable too.

I highly recommend this company!  Our unit started blowing warm air after 5:00 last Thursday.  I was worried that being so close to the end of the week, we would have challenges getting someone to come out - IN JULY, IN TEXAS, no less.  I talked to someone at Cody & Sons at 8:15 am.  the woman I spoke to was very nice!  we scheduled a window of 4-6.  Late in the day, but at least same day!  The tech call me at 2:00 that day letting me know they were ahead of schedule and could be at our house in 45 min!  The quickly found the problem.  Instead of upselling me a new system (which is the dread) they were able to fix the problem and service the machine for $150! $150 vs $6k?  ummm YES! Cody & Sons for the WIN!  We will absolutely use them again!

This company is definitely one to consider. There are so many companies out there that will not be honest and really want to just come in and completely replace everything. The technician was really knowledgeable and honest! My husband and I both are not educated in AC units and the components and he was willing to walk through everything with my husband and definitely show him where the problem was, what to do in the meantime to save us thousands of dollars right now in replacing the whole system. This company is really interested in working with clients and partnering with them to help from further issues happening instead of just coming in and wanting to replace everything right away.  Our repairs and our situation are not indefinite and eventually we will have to replace our system but like I said they were willing to partner with us to ensure that we get the best care and servicing the next... hopefully 2-4 years longer  while we save up.

These folks are fantastic. They are fast, efficient, reliable, expertly trained and affordable. They also offer an annual service agreement which is something I would definitely recommend. Katie, Jeff and Franco ROCK!!!

Cody the plumber called prior to arrival to confirm my appt. then called again prior to arrival. He came and installed two bidets in both our bathrooms.  He was professional, covering his shoes, wearing gloves, efficient with the time he used not lagging.  Cody was personable and friendly.  As far as I am concerned his service was a 5 out of 5.  
The only thing the price was a little high but he was willing to negotiate.  So really a 4.5 out of 5 over all.  I would definelty use them again.

Fantastic service - Atmos turned off the gas to the house after changing out my meter due to a supposed leak.  Worried about the size off the upcoming repair, I called Cody and Sons and they fit me into their full schedule the next business day.  They pressure tested the lines and determined that Atmos had made a mistake, arranged for Atmos to restore service without a city inspection, and even included a new customer discount.
After years with Public Service Plumbers, I am now a committed Cody and Sons client.

Yes! This service was pro-fession-nallll. I had sent a request to two places through Yelp and this team pinged me within a matter of minutes of my request. They were very flexible with me on figuring the best time for a technician to come out.

The next morning -- I received a follow-up email reminding me of my appointment. 15 minutes before my appointment and email was sent about my technician, Tylan. He showed up on time and immediately got to work. He popped on some shoe covers and came into my unit (which I found extremely courteous!).

After the work was completed, he walked me through my future options and what I should look out for next time! The best help I could have asked for on short notice, and I definitely intend on calling them back next time I run into any issues!!!

Simply put, absolutely fantastic! Called on a Saturday morning and had an appointment that afternoon. Team of Mikey and Jesse arrived right on time. Courteous and professional the entire time. They were quick and thorough. They were precise, informed me of the issue with my AC and fixed it right away. No up-selling or dishonesty, just friendly service. Truly a great experience from beginning to end, in a plumbing situation that was not good. Katie was so helpful, in spite of me calling at the end of the day. She made extra efforts to have someone come out quickly. Jay could not have been kinder and he felt very trustworthy. Plumbing issues are never a good thing, especially for someone like me who has very little knowledge about it. I would highly recommend Cody & Sons, we had a very good experience, I felt like we were treated really well and fairly.

Cody and Sons has always done a good job, but this time was exceptional. When is a plumber early? It was so wonderful to have them come before the 2-4 pm window...at 10:30! And a simple clogged sink turned out to be more difficult than expected. Cody and Jesse worked through the issues methodically, and two+ hours later they fixed the issue. Wonderfully polite and respectful, I recommend Cody and Sons to anyone who needs a reliable and honest plumbing service with competitive prices.

We moved in to our home a month ago and the heater went out the same day as Dallas hit 24 degrees and snow...I used Yelp to find Cody and Sons since the service provider selected by my Home Warranty company hadn't contacted me (still hasn't).  Tony called almost immediately after I hit send on the email to potential providers.  He explained that the soonest he could come was the next afternoon and he understood if I could find someone to come faster, just to let him know.  Tony arrived wearing shoe protectors, which I appreciate, and immediately got to work.  He was happy to talk to the Home Warranty rep twice to get payment approved and was able to get our heat back on within an hour.  
We will definitely be calling Tony for spring and fall HVAC preventative services.

Wow! I used Yelp to find this company, had my decision affirmed by a friend and neighbor and couldn't be more pleased with our service. When I called, I had a very easy booking conversation with the person I spoke to on the phone. They were prompt, able to get me in the same week, they were no back and forth phone tag games with voicemails that weren't set up (typical plumber). They called in advance to confirm the appointment and time frame. There were not gimmicks with the pricing. Everything was straightforward! The service guy arrived on time, put on booties before entering my house, clearly described the issue within minutes, gave us a fast estimate. After approval the problem was resolved. We even got an invoice in our inbox. Very professional, easy to use. I would use them again and recommend them any Oak Cliff neighbor! Glad to have found you guys!

I'm very happy with their service from beginning to end. The guys who came out to fix our gas leak and slow outside spigot were friendly and fixed the problem quickly. They were even great at working with our Shepherd who is very protective of the house.   She ended up hanging around them and wanting to play ball; that's a good sign when people can win your Shepherd's affection in a few minutes. I had a great experience with this company and the price was very fair. I wouid definitely use their services again.

These people are the best you could hope to have working in your home.  Phillip is amazing doing everything we asked for and took the initiative to anticipate our future needs and he just did it!! His team of Trevor and Cameron were non stop action giving us EXCELLENT quality service, at a very fair price.  I can say the very same for Jeff in their HVAC department.  You tell Jeff what you need and just GET OUT of his way.  The integrity and professionalism for Phillip and Jeff should be definite role models for anyone in their profession.

I recently had a tank-less water heater problem. Cody (not the owner, but I would recommend asking for him specifically) was at my door within hours was able to complete job. He had intelligent answers for all my (sometimes trivial) questions on the heater they had previously installed and other plumbing related components in my house.

I have had less that 5 star work completed by C&S previously and was reluctant to call back. Today, everything from the call to schedule and the work completed was professional, prompt, and thorough. I will not hesitate to call back or recommend to friends.

Cody and Sons have been extremely helpful and courteous in their service calls and customer contact. Devyn was great, keeping me apprised of when the guys would arrive and working with me when I needed 30 minutes to get home. Mark and Cody were wonderful, taking care of the plumbing problems I had and more. They are not cheap, but their prices are fair for the level of service they provide, and I like supporting a small business from Oak Cliff. Overall, I highly recommend them.

Fair, reasonably priced and unlike the other plumbing company they were able to give me a ballpark $ from a image I sent. When Eric arrived he was able to give me options... I can solve the problem for X amount or do what you ask for X amount. In the end the problem was solved for a fair price and within a few minutes. Much thanks.

My A/C unit stopped working last night.  I called Cody & Sons this morning at 10:30 AM and left a message.  Ten minutes later I get a return phone call and the service is scheduled for today.  The technician, Jeff Boyd, even called me to let me know he was stuck in traffic and would be 15 minutes late.  He quickly diagnosed the issue and repaired the unit.  By 12:30 PM, my A/C was working again and cooling the house down.

Excellent customer contact and communication.  They followed up with me to get me worked in sooner than previously scheduled, which was a big deal to me with my work schedule.  The gentleman who replaced my garbage disposal was quick and neat.  He even wore the little booties over his shoes which I really appreciate.  Cody & Sons is my new go-to.

I had a nightmare of a situation regarding a failed steam shower generator that involved three different parties (manufacturer, local service firm hired by manufacturer, and plumber). Far and away, Cody & Sons were not only the most professional to deal with, they were also the most honest and did the best work. Plus, they were highly accommodating with my schedule and able to make appointments on very short notice. Phillip, James, and Robyn went out of their way to make sure everything got taken care of, including the installation of a brand new replacement steam shower generator, and answered all my questions. Wouldn't use anyone else!

Used this company to service our 3 AC units in late Spring. They also repaired my hot water heater. They were professional, timely, and reasonably priced. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a honest reputable company.

Very Rude and disrespectful.

Field tech blocked the city st. He would NOT move his van to let us through. So we Called the owner of cody plumbing to ask why. He defended his worker and did not ask him stop blocking the st.

Needles to say they blocked the street in our neighborhood for 5 days straight! Very disappointing.

AWESOME SERVICE FROM END TO END. Mark and Cam were excellent to work with - great people, very knowledgeable and solved all issues promptly. They cleaned up, answered my questions, came the day after I called, and helped me with some issues that were not brought up on the call.

Nice work repairing a leaky gas line to an outside fire pit. Workers were timely, friendly, and efficient. They helped with getting Atmos to turn gas back on the same day. I would use them again.

After moving into our new house we had both pluming and ac issues. We had them come out two different time. Both times were equally as fantastic. They are on time, courteous, reasonable, and provide quality service. They answered all of our questions, gave us honest suggestions (including ones that might not make them the most money), and after they left we felt like we got a really quality product at a good price. We will continue to be loyal customers and recommend them to all our friends.

My home needed a new hot water heater.  Cody and Phil came out Saturday morning.   They worked around my schedule with great customer service.  They were not pushy salesman.  The price was extremely fair. They worked hard and were respectful around my family.  They made the entire process extremely easy.  

Something that really stood out about this company was the set appointment time.  In my experience, most companies would say we'll be there between 9 and 12.  We scheduled for 9:00, they were at my front door by 8:45.

I plan to use Cody & Sons for all of my work. I highly recommend.

This team did a great job after another plumbing company screwed up the installation of the tankless hot water heater. They were on time and did a professional job and cleaned up after. They answered all of my questions and made sure I was happy before they left. I would hire them again, great experience.

I saw all the great reviews so I called when I had an issue with my hot water heater. They answered the phone and asked detailed questions and were able to correctly identify my issue which was actually a leak sensor that had been tripped and caused the inlet valve to be closed. Within minutes and for free I was able to reset this and our hot water was back up and running again! I'll definitely use them in the future if I have any real issues!

I had Cody & Sons give me an estimate on a new furnace to replace my 20 yr old unit.  Mike showed up on time, was very personable, put on paper booties, and went up to my attic to take a look at my current furnace.  I gave him the specific items I was looking for in a new unit.  

While examining my furnace, he found two issues that could have created a problem, and told me before starting the repair what it would cost. I thought it was very reasonable, and he brought in supplies to repair.  However, once he started, he found that the primary drain was not clogged (as another HVAC repair person had told me) and that all that was needed was to reattach the secondary drain pipe, which had slipped.
Mike then took photos of my current furnace at different angles and also looked at my current cooling compressor outside.  He then gave me the estimate for a new furnace, which was quite reasonable, and a great relief.   He then told me there wasn't any charge for the visit since he didn't have to unclog the primary drain, or make any repairs.  
I told Mike that I had called them based on their outstanding reviews on both Yelp and Angie's List, and I can say without reservation that I am sold on CODY & SONS!!
If you want to be treated with respect and feel confident that you're getting a straight deal on  repairs and/or replacements, call Cody & Sons first.  You won't be sorry!  And ask for Mike!

They just finished gutting my old HVAC system and installing a new one. The furnace and ducts in my attic are a work of art!  Everything is secured, off the attic floor and out of my way. It is a very neat and professional job. They cleaned up after themselves, loading out all the old and dusty ductwork and old unit and they worked quickly and quietly to get us back up and running. The outside condensing unit was also installed with care and runs quietly.
Tony listened to my concerns about the old system, such as hot and cold spots, and made all needed improvements, including additional return-air and supply ducts. He and my husband played around with our new, state of the art thermostat, discussing Smart phone control and wifi capabilities...men.
I was comfortable leaving them in my home. That is very important to me. I would definitely use them again and will continue to recommend them to my customers.
