My old plumber passed into the great unknown, i.e., retirement to Florida, so when the hot water heater decided to die yesterday, I called around to a few Philly area plumbers with trepidation.  

JB Plumbing called me back promptly, and after sending Mark a few pics and measurements, he quoted me a fair price and promised to have his guys come the next morning. They were great!  Showed up on time in the pouring rain, they were quick, took care not to bump the walls, and cleaned up after themselves.  They wore masks without being asked and that was very reassuring.    

Less than 24 hours later I have hot water again.  I will definitely be calling JB the next time, because living in a 160-year old house means you will always have plumbing emergencies.

Had a slow running bathroom drain. They were 1.5 hours late, but I had told them I was home all day, so it wasn't a big deal. They snaked it quickly, and they were in and out in about 30 mins. The price was very competitive as well.

Our water heater and cast iron sewer pipe decided to leak at the same time.

Despite it being the holiday season, Brandon came out the next day and was able to assess the situation and gave us very knowledgable information.

He was willing to work with us on the price and got the work done within the week.

We just moved into a new house and had a new washer and dryer delivered.  The installers found that the washer and dryer hookup leaked too much to complete installation.  So I messaged Boss through Yelp, texted some photos of the setup, and they had someone out to fix everything the next business day.  They hooked up the washer and dryer and everything is working great.  Friendly and professional, will use again.

We had a sink reinstalled and some drain pipe replaced. The guys were quick and efficient with the install. When a slight issue came about from the work they did, they were out the very next day to fix that issue with no questions asked. Vinny was especially great as he informed us of any potential future work we should consider, but wasnt pushy on us getting it done that day. He was honest and answered all of our questions and eased our concerns.

Had a leaking shower faucet, and other plumbers we contacted didn't seem to prioritize our call. John, however, responded quickly and scheduled us quickly. He was also on time to repair the issue for a reasonable price, and walked us through the issues. Highly recommend.

Yesterday a tenant from my rental property in Philadelphia called complaining about a clogged kitchen sink full of water that wouldn't drain.
It was very difficult to find someone to come soon on Memorial day and the ones who could priced this urgent job pretty high.
Plumbing n things didn't have lots of reviews but I decided to take my chances. Not only they gave me a great price and offered a camera inspection, but also came over on holiday and did it fast. Needless to say, they also did a great job with the issue.
Making decisions like this without being there is quite a challenge, but I am glad I was able to find this business. It's also a family-owned business and It is my choice to support small businesses.

Initially, we hired Goodman Plumbing to replace the kitchen faucet.  Then, we hired them to replace our old leaking shower.   Prior to moving forward with Goodman, we received many estimates from others, including a big box store.  The price was fair and Billy really seemed forthright, letting me know what the process would look like.  We decided to also have Goodman install our new bathroom vanity.  The shower is now complete.  The tile person Goodman works with is a true perfectionist. I am amazed at how beautiful the shower is now. Both the kitchen faucet and vanity are great as well.   wish I'd taken before and after pictures.  We will call Goodman Plumbing from now on any time we have a plumbing install or repair.

One of the best Master Plumbers in the area. Always great work and affordable. He has done work on our inside plumbing and outside plumbing needs. I've used Miller Plumbing for several years now and I wouldn't think of using anyone else!

We use John Neill for our 2 mixed-use buildings in Fishtown and for our plumbing at home. They are friendly, knowledgeable, reliable and great to work with. I highly recommend them.

Our sewer pump broke on a Sunday night and they were out the next morning at 9. They were prompt, tidy, clear, gave me options, and got the job done fast. Its not inexpensive but neither is quality work done correctly.

Our sump pump broke and our basement flooded. I contacted Bommer after hours through yelp asking questions and getting quotes and they responded right back to me! They came the next next morning and installed our new sump pump. Jim was so helpful and knowledgeable! Thank you again Jim!

Don't waste your money on Lye and Crystal Heat.
All of those liquid plumbers are garbage too.
I spent about $50 on those shits before finally calling a plumber.

We are currently using Williams Precision Plumbing to renovate the hall bathroom. Chris and his team do an amazing job and are professional and polite. Chris came for the free estimate and spent time answering all my questions. He is also very responsive via email and text which has made scheduling very easy. I will use them again for our future plumbing needs!

I had a mystery issue with a basement toilet. Scheduling was easy and they arrived on time. Will certainly call again if I have any issues.
