My family and I had a great experience working with Mark and his team. They inspected and replaced our 11-year-old water heater within a 24 hour time span. They were super efficient and handled everything like the experts they are. I highly recommend giving them a call if you're on the fence. You'll be glad you did.

With a main drain blockage and unable to shower because of it, I went in search of drain cleaning company.  Economy had great ratings online, so I gave them a call.  I really liked that they had two tiers of pricing, snake and hydro, as others I called had only one quoted price (the higher one).  They also had  same day availability, so I went ahead and scheduled.  They are very well set up electronically, providing both text and email communication. Manuel arrived a few minutes before the 1-3pm window.  I explained the issue, and off to work he went, first attempting to clear the blockage by snaking.  Unfortunately, he found tree roots in the drain, so hydro was necessary.  Back to work he went and in about 45 minutes the drain was completely cleared.  I really liked that he took the time to explain the issues and how the different techniques worked.  I also liked that, in going over some other issues, Manuel told us what we DIDN'T need to worry about right now (rather than try to sell us on more repairs). We are now considering Economy for a slow tub drain and replacement of the pipe section that had revealed the blockage.  Very happy with the service.

I needed someone to assemble my 12 ft Christmas Tree. It weighs nearly 200 pounds and needed to be carted from the basement to the first floor. Within 3 hours of my posting I had an appointment with A-1 Handyman and Home Plumbing. Brandon and his uncle arrived this morning ahead of schedule and within 45 minutes had the tree together and did not break a sweat. Brandon was great. He is polite and respectful and obviously someone who takes pride in his work. He was careful to leave the house as clean as when he arrived. I will keep his number handy for other home repairs that may be needed.
I should also add that he typically does not like to work in my area because of the parking. He likes taking care of Yelp customers so he did agree to complete the job.

We called Warren (the owner of Boss Plumbing) to help us with multiple projects and problems we had and he and his crew came out immediately every time and did not leave until the job was done. He is a very knowledgeable, experienced, and has a vast network. I can only highly recommend him and his company for any plumbing job you may have.

Among the things he helped us with:
1) installing new outdoor faucet
2) cleaning backed up sewer pipe
3) repining sewer line and installing a new cleanout
4) repairing sewer mainline

We had a sink reinstalled and some drain pipe replaced. The guys were quick and efficient with the install. When a slight issue came about from the work they did, they were out the very next day to fix that issue with no questions asked. Vinny was especially great as he informed us of any potential future work we should consider, but wasnt pushy on us getting it done that day. He was honest and answered all of our questions and eased our concerns.

Has great reviews and cool dude met him once. But be aware that you will take a chance at being completely ignored without receiving the courtesy to even be told he isn't interested in the job. Hit him up twice for a job that we already spoke about. I needed it done and was ready to have it done immediately bc I preferred him and he seems to knows his stuff and looks like he does great work but he just read my messages and gave no response... twice. It's a slap in the face and its super unprofessional. Did nothing to the guy but ask him when he was available and how much. What's the point in having a business and being the best if you're not going to respond to customers? I'm completely remodeling my middle floor and basement starting october 1st as well and he wouldve gotten a sizeable job with that too but now I have to find someone else.

Our sink overflowed on Saturday night. I got a quick response and service provided the next day. He was very accommodating with the time, punctual and professional. He explained was caused the issue and gave us some tips to prevent the issue from reoccurring. Would definitely recommend.

Did complete repairs under kitchen sink.  Great work and fair pricing. Would definitely use them again.

Rick answered my yelp message in about 10 minutes.  I called around 9am and he was at my house to fix the problem around noon.  Would definitely recommend for impeccable service.

Super professional plumber. Very responsive and came over quickly. He actually quickly identified that he wasn't able to fix our issue and referred us to a colleague with special equipment (who is also responsive and prompt). He didn't even charge us for the call. I would hire Mr Miller again!

Great service. Our water heater was leaking, so I called in to get a quote. John called back by midday and talked me through options. They were able to get out the next day, and everything went smoothly. They ran me through what they had done and did their best to get the leaking/rusty water heater out without tracking water all over the place and cleaned up when they were done. Would definitely use them again.

ValDel Plumbing, LLC, I got a connection through Angi. They called me immediately. They told me a $65 fee for the visit and estimate. They came within an hour and gave me a quote for the Customer provide Water filter installation of $2403.24. I'm terrified and surprised about the pricing. This is an Angi SCAM. Stay away from kinds of Angi Applications and companies, Because of ridiculous pricing. Another company offered me a $1500 installation, including a water filter. This is 100% SCAM, they don't want to do the work, and for 10 minutes, they charged me $65.

A pipe broke on Thursday (Thanksgiving).  Friday morning I entered a Yelp request for a quote from Bommer plumbing.  (Yelp site now says response is typically within 9 hours, although at the time I'd thought it was 4 hours).  Nothing back on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday in spite of their 24 hour service claim.  Early Monday morning I receive a message saying technician can't evaluate from picture and will need to come onsite to quote.  If you accept quote, $87 charge will be waived.  I can understanding wanting more info, but how about a call or request for more detail first, before charging $87 for an estimate?

Compare this to JB Plumbing, where the owner responded within 10 minutes of my request, happened to live nearby and came over to check out the situation (no charge) and then gave me options since he didn't have needed part in hand.  One of the options was to wait and see what other plumbers responded.  If no one was available, let him know and he'd send one of his techs from Phila on Saturday.  Long story short - go with JB and skip the M-F, no holiday support Bommer.

Maybe it was just an off time or they aren't set up to respond to yelp quickly, but they should say so in their listing.

Had flooding in my basement from a cracked drain pipe. They were able to come out the same day to give me an estimate and corrected the issue on the next day.

Came out 3 times to fix the heater. Never fixed it, were rude and told me that if it still didn't work that I needed to call someone who know better than them.

Vinko came out quick.  The job was on our old house with a copper drain that leaked at the I bend.  Quickly shored it up and now we can use our bathroom again.  The price was also very reasonable.  No unnecessary upsells. Very appreciative of the work they did.
