Best Businesses in Pennsylvania
Nic came out promptly to replace my shower diverters and some eroded pipes in the back. He was quick, professional and explained everything he did. I'll be using him for all my future plumbing/HVAC needs, and the best part is, he is a local small business owner.

I reached out to Yelp on Sunday.. Mark got in contact immediately. He come out the next day on time , and got the job done in an hour. Very professional and reliable, will definitely use him and he's highly recommended!

Called on two separate occasions based on a referral. Both times never got a return call. Maybe they are too busy and don't need the work.

I won't ever tackle an electrical project at home. It scares me. But plumbing? It's just tightening a nut or replacing a washer. Not a problem. My quick repair of a leaky bathroom faucet turned into a replastering of my den ceiling. Now plumbing too is off-limits. So when both shower faucets started leaking at the same time, I called Scott Plumbing.
The past few plumbers we used were either non-responsive, too far out of the area, or just plain weird (Your whippet is very fat...thank you Cesar Milan.). So I called Scott Plumbing in nearby Flourtown and they stopped by the next day, fixed the problem in an hour, and didn't overcharge us. That, in my mind, is five star service. Plus, he was nice and knew everything about the plumbing in our style house. He told me that the washers were the originals from when the house was built in 1955. I said that that was interesting, but do you think my whippet is fat? He left posthaste.

Ran a gas line and water line across the house for me. Professional, organized, quick, and fair priced.

DrainPro Solutions was a great find for me, and, our home will continue to use their services for our plumbing and renovation needs. We worked with Manny who was extremely knowledgeable about all of our project ideas. We upgraded one entire full bathroom (full remodel: shower, vanity, floor, tub, toilet, and tiles) and minor upgrades to two half bathrooms. Manny was transparent throughout the entire process and even came shopping with us for parts at Home Depot/Lowes (telling us what to get and what overpriced items were not needed). His estimates are accurate and he always verified if additional labor or demo work was needed. He also crafted a solution for a unique bowl sink we had installed that wasn't fitted to our existing plumbing. Again his expertise is exemplary and I would highly recommend him and this company overall.

Hayden was awesome!!! So nice and so thorough too!! Was super easygoing and really helpful. When he couldn't quite figure out what the issue was, he still kept trying. Would totally use him again!

Very professional service I received from these guys. Kitchen faucet went bad due to blockage and they came out the next day. And the guy wore a mask which was greatly appreciated. They are now my official plumbing service.. Thx Joe..

We've had a problem with roots in our sewer line. We had one person come out and they didn't fix it completely--they weren't able to find a drain outside to get at the roots that way--and it started backing up again.
This plumber fixed it right. He also was on time and friendly. Price quoted on the phone was what they charged, and it was in line with other quotes that we received.

You can trust Andy to do a good job at a fair price. Honest, reliable, straight shooter. What more can you ask for? Got him on speed dial.

Rich came out promptly at our prearranged time and within 15 minutes fixed a serious clog that two prior plumbers could not fix, one whom was reputable and recommended me going through my homeowners for a broken pipe. He saved me thousands of dollars and his fee was reasonable considering he had to go on my roof!

Krzyzanowski Plumbing is the best! They worked with our schedule, quickly evaluated the job and gave us a fair quote. Then they came out and promptly completed the job professionally and cleanly without any surprises. A very positive experience that we could not have hoped to go more smoothly. Thanks!

We've had Vin out to help with several different issues in our home. He's always been very responsive, on time, and does the job right the first time. He doesn't mind explaining what he's doing, which is a nice change from other service people I've encountered in the past. Very trustworthy! I would recommend him to all my family and friends.

Brian was punctual, friendly and fixed promptly the plumbing issues with our basin and drains. Would strongly recommend.

Two employees from Turners Bros. Plumbing arrived at 0900 (as scheduled) and were on-site until the job was completed at 0940. The ballpark price quoted for the job over the phone - the removal of an old garbage disposal and installation of a new garbage disposal, and the installation of a exterior hose bib - was $125 for the visit plus labor and it was suggested at that time by the Turner Bros. representative that the total cost for the job would likely be about $200.
After the actual job was completed I was told by the one employee, Mike, that the realized price for the job was $375. When I questioned this and mentioned the quoted price, noting how drastically far apart the realized price was from the quoted price, the employee simply said that he was only the messenger. When I told him I did not have any checks and would need to get more cash in order to pay I also asked at that time for an itemized bill, indicating that I would not submit payment without some sort of a bill and guarantee that my payment as cash was properly received.
He told me that he could come back for the cash and that he would have his office send me a bill within the hour, taking down my email address for the invoice to be sent to. About 45 minutes later I attempted to call the main office for Turner Bros. multiple times, unable to reach anyone. I wanted to verify the price and that an invoice was being sent over.
Eventually I was able to speak with the employee whom had completed the job (Mike) and he told me that he spoke with his boss and was able to get the price reduced to $250. While I told him this would likely be 'ok' I also told him I still wanted to speak directly with his boss at which time he conferenced me in with his boss, Michael Turner. I explained the situation to Michael and he told me that typically they charge $125 as a base visit fee plus $190/hour per worker and that two workers are always sent on a job. This was information not told to us when we originally scheduled the appointment - we were only told the charge would be $125 for the visit 'plus labor'. Michael Turner noted that his other employee Brian 'must have quoted us a different price and the problem is Brian isn't around today'.
I questioned why the quote given to us over the telephone wasn't memorialized and how could such drastically different quotes be given by his employees. After further conversation of a similar nature, Michael agreed to settle on the originally quoted price of $200. His employee Mike returned to the house and collected $200 cash as payment in full for the work completed after I was e-mailed an updated copy of the new invoice. The new invoice did not itemize time, labor or standard costs, and did not even include my full first name, but simply stated Installed homeowners garbage disposal (we had purchased ahead of time) and Installed homeowners hose drought (which we had also purchased ahead of time) with a total of $200 listed to the right.
A response was sent to Michael Turner via the pay2go website from which the invoice was sent indicating the invoice had been paid in full in cash. At the end of our phone conversationMichael informed me that if we charged these prices there we would be out of business. As a local business owner myself, I know that if I had a member of my sales staff who was unaware of our base rates and was also radically misquoting customers, I could imagine that our business might not be around for much longer, either.
While the workers were amiable and quick to the job, I do not recommend Turner Bros. Plumbing.

I've worked with Kniese plumbing for years. They are a great company to work with.
Their customer service and follow up is second to none and I highly recommend working with this group.

I called to get my problem resolve. They couldn't do it that's sad they only charged me 198. I rented a snake from Home Depot and I unclogged my own sewer drain out back. I got paid 0. Funny how you pay for service and they don't even do the service smh. Yelp needs to make a no star j.s

Don't use. I called and they stated that someone will come over and provide free quote. I specifically asked whether i will have to pay for any work at that time and was told no. The plumber came over to look at issue determined that small object was limiting water flow in shower and proceeded to do the work without my approval. Granted this issue took all but 6 minutes of his time and a grand $150. The issue here is that they are slick and dishonest --not a good trait in a vendor. Will never use again. Slick!
