I was very happy with the job Warren and DJ did to install our little cold water faucet.  The faucet was a little out of the ordinary, but they figured out what needed to be done and were done relatively quickly.  This was after another plumber came out and said that they would need to do extra work with extra parts in order to install it, and gave us an much larger estimate.
Warren let DJ do the work, but he was patient and guided him through the process.  

I had reached out  previously to Warren with another tiny project and he honestly told me that it was simple enough to do on my own, saving me hundreds of $.

Happy to know there is a plumber out there that you can trust!

Our kitchen sink stopped draining. Reason? Unclear. No problem, we can be handy, right? Sink plunger? No go. Fine, let's go under the sink and take the p trap off. Still no go. Snaked the pipe, nothing.

And that, my friends, is when you call in a professional. I saw that Boss Plumbing had 4.5 stars and knew they were the right call. Warren picked up right away (on a Saturday evening!). We talked through the issue and he said he'd come the next morning (a Sunday!!).

He came at 10 on the dot, validated that it was a legit bad clog, snaked it out, replaced our p trap (ours was corroded and starting to leak), and was gone less than 40 min later.

Listen, it wasn't cheap, but I absolutely need a working kitchen sink, and the p trap needed replacing regardless. And he was a lovely guy. WHO CAME ON A SUNDAY. Contact saved, new plumber recommendation unlocked.

Had a leak they came out and told me my problem and all so clean out my tub pipes (curly hair household ) so you know the hair backed up and created a slow drain. They fixed it up no problem

We noticed a sporadic leak from a pipe in our basement and reached out to boss plumbing on yelp based on reviews. Warren immediately sent me his number and worked with me via videos and photos to help assess my issue. He let me know that we needed a drain cleaning as the leak was caused by a blockage and gave me an initial quote on the phone. He and his team came the next morning on time. They ran into some difficulties when it came to the way my pipes were configured but found a way to make things work so that I was comfortable and the risk of flooding in the basement was lowered. They had their work cut out for them but managed to clear the pipes pretty quickly and were communicative the entire time.

We've had trouble finding a reliable and knowledgeable plumber, but I'm happy to say it looks like our search is over. I'd highly recommend Boss Plumbing!

My husband I don't enjoy tackling plumbing projects ourselves. When our water heater unexpectedly broke a few months back, Warren had his team come out to replace it within a day or two. We've since had them install a new faucet and fix a leaky garbage disposal as well. The guys at Boss Plumbing are friendly, reliable, and efficient with their work. Definitely recommend them!

I had a cracked trap under bathroom sink so I bought the trap and a faucet to replace the old ones. He gave me a price of 295 to replace the trap which is the U shaped part that I bought by the way. But the 295 was ok...but he then said in order to install the faucet it would be over 700 hundred dollars.  All the while never getting out of his van but instead sent his worker in to check it out. I don't know if the job was too small for him so he over priced it but he clearly wasn't interested in working that job unless I overpaid for it. Sometimes we are our own worst enemy.

I discovered a leak at the access panel to my tub at 10pm on Sunday night, and was not only able to reach Boss Plumbing & Heating but they were also able to give me a very reasonable quote for an emergency repair by reviewing a cell phone video of the leak site. Communication was excellent, service was timely and respectful of my home, and they did a complete replacement of not only the joint that was leaking but also the companion part that would be prone to the same issue over time. Very grateful to have found a reliable plumbing repair provider through Yelp, and will absolutely be recommending their services to others.

Excellent company! Had two professional men  come and install a new water heater, they were extremely knowledgeable and very nice too. Our water heater broke spewing water all over and we initially called rotor rooter.... don't waste your time, they do not come when they say and do not listen to your needs, Boss quoted a price in the evening and was out the next morning as they said they would and did a fantastic job! We are greatful and happy and In the future they are who we will call first. Thank you very much.

We have a basement powder room that ties to an ejector pump. Over the last few days I didn't hear it running at all, so I put out a Yelp SOS and Boss responded the quickest. Warren scheduled with me and came out this morning to take a look -- good news for me as it was just clogged and not in need of replacement.

Warren and DJ arrived promptly, were friendly, good communicators, and had my problem solved in under an hour. I'm really appreciative of their expertise and how quick they got me back to normal. You can't beat that level of responsiveness and resolution!

Had a main drain line clog. Caused me to not be able to use any water in the house.

Tried Roto rooter first and after two appointments cancelled because they were hours late with no eta we finally had to look elsewhere.

Called Boss Plumbing. Wish we did that first. William & DJ arrived very quickly and handled the issue in twenty minutes. Fair pricing for Philly. Everything working fine now. Highly recommend.

Response (via Yelp) to my request for a plumber was answered only by a phone number.  OK, so I called but I could barely hear him over a crackly cell.  I was frustrated that he obviously hadn't read what I had bothered to write to him -- he wanted the whole picture repeated over the phone.  Maybe the new poorly educated, semi-literate businessman of the new century?  He should be ashamed!  He's definitely no boss!

Warren is great! His team helped us to replace the water heater in a day.
The landlord called 10+ plumbers, nobody can come, only the boss-plumber came and fixed the hot water for us!  They are very nice people and impressive work!  I will definitely recommend them!

Just bought a home. I needed to install a new sink in my bathroom, went to turn off the shutoff valve and boom - valve starts leaking. I call Boss Plumbing and Heating, text them a video of the leak, and Warren and his crew were out the next day. There were some unexpected issues with cutting in a new valve, but they were still able to get the job done fast and done right for a reasonable price. Warren is very responsive and easy to talk to, and if I ever have another plumbing issue, I know who I am calling.

Warren was great. Prompt, efficient, personable and knowledgeable. He completed the job promptly and explained what he was doing. Warren also provided tips for us to use in the future. And he cleaned up after himself and in the work area. He snakes the drain I couldn't do on my own and replaced some old piping. Warren has come in emergencies and non emergencies. He's honest reliable and affordable.

Solid leadership is what makes the Boss Plumbing team so efficient. They're responsive to communication, and upfront about costs and time. I'd recommend these guys and intend on using Boss again when future issues arise.

Called to have water heaters replaced.  Fantastic service, very professional, great communication, and gave me lots of good advice on other things in the basement (chimney stack, radiator boiler) that needed fixing for nothing.  I even got a discount on an unrelated pseudo-emergency sewer line backup that happened the day they were scheduled to arrive.

I'll be calling Warren again in the future.

Ok so Warren and DJ his protege are true professionals they did an awesome job. My house was built in the 1920s so when they bid the job they did not know what they were in for. They were awesome and jumped right in to do the job right. Warren is a true plumbing artist. I would highly recommend him for any job in your home. It's refreshing to see someone who works so hard to do a job right and sticks by his quotes. There are many scam artists plumbers out there but Warren is not one of them. This business is unprofessional. First, he didn't even introduce himself when he responded to my quote or ask for my name. Then asked for pictures which I immediately sent and he gave me a price, prefect makes sense! Next, he asked for my address which I gave to him.. I assumed he was going to give me a time since I said I was available anytime. I asked when he was available; he said I was waiting for your call.. excuse me sir! Anyway maybe I shouldn't had given him my address because he never responded to my call - he requested or messages after that. I mean if the work wasn't worth his time that's all he had to say.

We just moved into a new house and had a new washer and dryer delivered.  The installers found that the washer and dryer hookup leaked too much to complete installation.  So I messaged Boss through Yelp, texted some photos of the setup, and they had someone out to fix everything the next business day.  They hooked up the washer and dryer and everything is working great.  Friendly and professional, will use again.

Boss. Boss. Look no further. I want to echo a lot of what previous reviews were saying, but also wanted to detail my experience more in depth so you can gain a better understanding of how Boss Plumbing operates.

I will keep this as short as I can. Boss came out to install a double vanity. Not feeling satisfied by the slow drain they advocated identifying the clog by utilizing our warranty from another company. Where most plumbers would have left for the day, Warren wasn't comfortable unless the job was done right. The other company identified a corroded drain and were skeptical about replacing it.

So, I called Boss.

Without hesitation, Warren said he could handle it. This was a huge project. It required a gut. Now, these Roxborough homes require a lot of TLC and the existing concrete infrastructure made things a serious labor. No issue for Boss. They demoed the room and got to work right away.

Warren is an exceptional communicator and laid out expectations immediately. He gave fair pricing and also performed other laborious plumbing endeavors in my home free of charge, i.e., replacing a 60s era wall hung toilet which required specialty parts that were hard to come by. Additionally, he improved my water shut off valve by installing an easy to use mechanism.

In the interest of keeping things short, I want you to understand how important these things are to me and my family and I'm sure you want this same level of care. Warren is always looking out for your best interests. Really, it exists.

Warren checked in daily, made sure we were happy with progress and kept an open line of communication. His crew is professional, personable and easy to work with.

I can't say more about this company. I will be calling Boss for every plumbing/heating/remodel issue I may encounter. Stand up guys. Exceptional work. And an approach to business that is almost too good to be true. Warren almost feels like family at this point.

Warren and his team are terrific!  I have been searching for years for a plumber that I would recommend without hesitation, and finally found it at Boss Plumbing. So far, Warren & co have fixed a valve another plumber didn't want to touch, assessed and identified small leaks that were making a big mess (and of course repaired them), installed a new sink and faucet (including some retrofitting) and did it all with a wonderful blend of expertise and good humor.  It was a pleasure having them in my home, and I would trust Warren to professionally tackle any plumbing-related job.

Boss Plumbing provided excellent service from start to finish, and they gave me good advice as a new home owner. I originally called them to move my laundry sink, but they also installed new water lines, shut off valves, and they corrected the laundry room piping. I called them in the morning and they were able to come out the same day to assess the situation with the work occurring the next day. From the beginning, they were able to identify that I needed new shut off valves for the water supply and that the existing piping configuration was not providing proper drainage. Warren and DJ completed the work, and they were knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. I will definitely call them again for servicing my radiator and for any plumbing needs.

Warren and his team were the quickest to respond when our stackpipe cracked.  He was able to talk us through the repairs we needed, give us a timeline that fit our needs and a fair price.  When we had another issue (known to us that needed to be repaired) that turned into an emergency, he took our call in the evening, helped calm us down and advised on how to get the situation under control.  He even called us later that night to make sure everything turned out ok! Not many businesses around that offer that type of service--we are really impressed and recommend him to anyone.

I called and asked for a written estimate because that's what businesses usually do, I was willing to pay for one but was denied because I wasn't sure who I wanted to hire for the job...Warren told me what he thought the problem might be, gave me a price and asked me to text him my info, I received no response after that. I sense a little arrogance with this company, No Thanks and  moving on to the next one...

We called Warren (the owner of Boss Plumbing) to help us with multiple projects and problems we had and he and his crew came out immediately every time and did not leave until the job was done. He is a very knowledgeable, experienced, and has a vast network. I can only highly recommend him and his company for any plumbing job you may have.

I cannot say enough about these guys - Warren (the owner) and DJ.  From my initial call asking for service on my hot water tank to the completed installation of the new tank.  These guys went above a d beyond as the identified several other issues that are par for the course in my charming older home.  From a bird in the duct to a blocked sewer line...they did it all.  They are polite, courteous, and highly skilled in the art of both explaining and showing the customer the issue(s).  A 90 minute job turned into 5 hours.  Boss Plumbing & Heating are now the official team for Hotel Hansberry!!!  The pricing is fair and this ole gal could not have asked for better service or communication of the issues as well as suggestions to go-forward services.  Kudos to Warren for taking time to teach whenever a training opportunity came up while DJ was working.

Warren is professional and knowledgeable. He did a full diagnosis on the leaking toilet and got to the root cause step by step. I would recommend him to other la who needs a responsible and responsive plumber.

Warren has bailed me out on multiple occasions.  He is always extremely responsive at any call or text and then truly has the clients' best interest at heart when completing the job.  Whether it is a big or small job you get the same 1st class care and service. Called after hours and the guy picked up. Set a time for the next day. Overall, felt he was friendly and communicated well. Asked for a video of the issue to properly assess the problem. Priced the issue right over the phone. Roommate stayed home and met him at the set time (just a little late) the next day. Snaked the backed up sewer line and took videos for IG (without my knowledge) of his process. $385 for the service. I had no reference point for the cost so I agreed. I asked for additional info/detail from him via email for my insurance, which he agreed to but never sent. Roughly 2 weeks later and the same blockage is happening. He stated over the phone that it could be a bigger issue (curb trap, a $4k+ installation) but if he came to do it he exact same job it would be another $385. Next door neighbor had the identical issue 1 week after my initial blockage and got a diff company to come out and clear her curb trap and clear her drain issue for $285.  I have called them to come service my issue correctly. It appears Boss neglected to check all possible blockage points, as the issue has quickly returned.

EDIT:
2nd company came out. Looked at the curb trap as a first step and immediately determined the issue was blockage outside, not inside the home. They retrieved the item blocking the drain and showed me the all clear on their camera system. This part of the drain was not looked at by Boss. Problem resolved by 2nd company, unfortunately for the exact same price.

Warren is absolutely amazing! We had a bunch of different issues in our house(garbage disposal not working, clogged kitchen sink, broken pipe for outdoor faucet) and he came on short notice and helped us out. He was knowledgable, quick and did a great job. I would recommend him in a heartbeat!

Warren is a man of his word.  I called him late on a Friday and he came to my place on Saturday morning as promised.  He did a great job at a fair price.  His crew where clean cut and professional.  He did his best not to make a mess fixing my clogged toilet and they cleaned up afterwards.  Just a heads up, you can pay him through Cash App.  If you have a plumbing emergency then I recommend you give Warren a call. He'll do right by you.

I am in the trades myself so I know how one is supposed to act and conduct business.  And Warren checks all of the boxes. He is polite, on time, has a great professional attitude and his prices are fair. I have used Warren multiple times for drain cleaning services. He also worked with me on the price which was GREATLY appreciated. If I ever have a plumbing issue (which I'm sure I won't because they did a fantastic job) him and his team would be first people I contact. Warren came out and replaced my water heater and did a great job. My chimney flume was also blocked and old pipes needed replacing. I called him and he came the next morning and did all the work. Now my water gets hot really quickly. He was kind and very professional. I'd recommend him in a heart beat. He also accepts payment via Cash App which is handy.

Warren literally couldn't be a better plumber. When our stack pipe cracked, he and his team came out promptly and replaced everything, even coming back to follow up and reset our toilet. I'd give him ten stars if I could, especially since we called tonight at 9pm after a pipe sprang a leak in our basement and he came out within the hour as a favor. I have his number saved and he's the only plumber I'll be using from now on.

So I had a massive emergency late night with water gushing out of my toilet supply line and not only would the valve behind the toilet not turn off nor would my main water shutoff valve.  The basement was already flooded so I proceeded to call several so-called emergency 24 hr plumbers either they would not answer or they claimed there was no one working in my service area.  At a last ditch attempt I called Boss plumbing and he answered right away, but unfortunately he said that he had just sent his emergency plumber out to a job.  I must have sounded so exasperated that he said I'll come myself.  Not only did he come exactly when he said he would he stayed in touch en route.  He turned the water off in 3 seconds and fixed the issue quickly.  Now don't get me wrong this wasn't cheap but money isn't an issue when you have gallons of water pouring into your finished basement the cost to fix that is exponentially higher if I couldn't find someone.  Secondly, the next day I texted him to ask for a receipt and once agin he got right back to me and said he would email it.  To sum it up Boss plumbing has A++ customer service and professionalism and that's hard to find in this type of industry.  Lastly, they also do what they advertise which is emergency plumbing whereas I'd called several that advertised open 24 hrs but didn't even bother to answer.  If you ever have an emergency or just any plumbing issue these are your guys!

I would highly recommend Boss Plumbing to anyone in the Philadelphia area.  I live out-of-state and own a rental property in East Falls.  When I recently needed a plumber, I reached out to multiple places and most either didn't respond or couldn't come for weeks.  Warren responded very quickly and went to the house to resolve the problem the next business day.  He was communicative and helpful throughout the process, and for that I'm very grateful.

Where do I begin?!!! I received a call from my agent informing me that water is bubbling from my sidewalk and the streets are flooded. My water line had a crack in it! I live 2 hours away. Frantically, I was searching for a Great Plumber that can get this issue resolved as soon as possible. This is how I met Warren from Boss Plumbing. Warren, the owner himself, answered my call after 8pm on a Wednesday evening. He calmly explained my options and we agreed to meet the next day. He showed up on time and throughly explained worst case and best case scenario. He accepted check, credit, etc. The following day, he went to Philadelphia City Hall and got the permits to begin work the following Monday. He sent me videos, pictures and explained every step of the way. His work is fast and impeccable. Thank you Warren. If you want a reliable, knowledgeable and fair plumber, Warren is the Boss. Lastly, he is a 3rd generation plumber in his family so he has a wealth of knowledge with new school approaches.
