Every time I've called to make an appointment, they've come out that same day. Tom and Chris have hydrojetted our drain twice now. They are super nice and clearly know what they're doing!

I have finally found  reliable plus reasonably priced Plumbers!!   This company not only fixes the problem , but provides information to prevent the same issue from happening again.

I had a mystery leak from a toilet that I couldn't fix myself, so I reached out to Economy via their online form and heard back from Travas within the hour. They were able to get someone out within two days to fix the leak and replace a the part causing the issue, while other places estimated a 1-2 week wait. Tim was pleasant and got the job done very quickly - highly recommended!

I put in a request for quotes at 9:00 PM, and by 9:04, I had a response from Economy Drain Cleaning & Plumbing for two availability windows for someone to come by the following day, as early as 8 AM (so less than 12 hours after my initial request!). Two plumbers arrived within the window I requested and were able to remove a broken and leaky garbage disposal and re-plumb my under-sink area with regular pipes (since I wasn't ready to commit to a brand-new disposal). They worked quickly and efficiently, and I'm very pleased with the results. They charged what I felt was a very decent rate for service and parts, and they were done before I knew it. I would definitely consider them for future needs!

I am so happy with the service provided. I noticed water on my living room ceiling where my bathroom is. Travis picked up immediately on a Sunday and had someone here within a few hours. Samuel quickly assessed the issue and put my mind at ease. As soon as the replacement faucet delivers this week, I'm calling them to install it. No hesitation.

I had a clogged toilet on a Sunday morning!  I could not do my Sunday morning routine until my toilet was unclogged.  Travas came out in a timely manner and unclogged my toilet in less than 30 seconds!   He was friendly and professional.   He even gave me a $25.00 discount for being a first time customer.   Another company on Yelp wanted to charge me $985.00!!  I recommend Economy Drain for your plumbing needs.

Highly recommended. We had a bad clog in an outdoor sewage/storm drain (old house in downtown Philly) and it backed up and overflowed. I called them at 9:00 and Manuel was here within an hour. He was persistent and professional and the clog put up quite a fight, but he got the job done in less then two hours. Manuel kept me apprised of progress along the way. Very happy with their work.

Sam was terrific, great and friendly guy who solved all of my plumbing issues in one visit. Customer centric and a pleasure to work with. Terrific experience and will be using again.

I just purchased a home in the Philadelphia area and within one week I've had to make two separate calls for emergency service due to a clogged sewage valve and a leak in my master bathroom shower. Economy was extremely quick to respond and sent text message notifications to let me know when our contractors would arrive - both times within the hour.

Anthony and his team were great. They quickly diagnosed the issues and got them resolved immediately. Anthony did a great job explaining what was happening and gave recommendations that would help save us money and time in the future. He even showed me pictures of his kids while he was here. I didn't ever hope to need a go-to plumbing service, but I absolutely have one now. These guys have a customer for life with us.

Came our same to day to deal with a basement flood situation.  Guy they sent out was polite, quick to diagnose the problem, and honest.

Professional, prompt. I have no problem recommending the technician Sam and his co-worker.

Our main sewer was clogged leaving us unable to use the toilets, shower, sinks, etc.  I fruitlessly called plumbers we'd used in the past; no one even bothered to return calls or follow-up. I lucked into finding Economy Drain Cleaning & Plumbing. They answer the phone promptly, set up a time to visit your house, text confirmation and show up on time! They worked thoughtfully and relentlessly for several days  to fix our complex problem. Their persistence saved us a lot of money: we *did not* have dig up the yard.  The owner and the staff were professional, kind and thorough. My husband is nearly deaf (I wasn't home) and the plumber took the time to make sure my husband 'heard' about  the problem & solution. Their fees are fair and likely lower than anyone else. Their work is excellent , I can't praise them enough. I'm happy that I now have a reliable plumber to call when I need help.

Had issue with main drain around midnight, was able to get someone out the next morning. Luckily it was solved right away with a snake. Main reason for the positive review was the responsiveness. Left a message on their landline within minutes got a text asking for my address and to explain the issue a little more.

Quoted $185 for a badly clogged toilet, $250 to do it after hours, in the mid-high $300s if they needed to pull the toilet off the floor to get into the drain (they did not). They were able to come same day on a Friday night, right when they said they would, and got it done quickly. Took care not to dirty my floor with shoes or plumbing equipment, considerate with masking. Charged exactly as quoted. Boss Plumbing quoted me $385 for the same job and RotoRooter would not give a quote until they saw it (at which point you could reject service) but tried to come earlier than scheduled and then switched to the correct time slot, but by then Economy had already gotten there.

I wish there were more companies like Economy.  We had a blocked 2 sink drain and had tried in vain to clear ourselves with a snake and drain bladder.  We originally called TLC to come out and they quoted $700 just for a snake.  Shocked by the price, found Economy, who was willing to come over to the other side of the city next day!  They snaked the line and unfortunately, could not clear.  The owner, Travis, came over the next day to discuss possibly rerouting the drain line, since repairing existing would mean tearing up foundation.  He was very transparent and honest, even suggesting that we have the line jetted first before committing to an expense replacement.  That jet team came out the following Monday and it worked!  Pricing was very fair, even the original snaking cost was rolled into the jet cost.  Every person we dealt with, from the call center, to the owner, to the guys on-site, were extremely professional.  Will be using Economy for all of my plumbing needs, from now on.

I needed a new toilet installed after moving in to my place, and these guys were quick, professional, and helpful. Even with a brief scheduling mix-up, they were attentive and helped keep the job on track. Will save their number for future needs.

We had a second floor shower leak down to the floor below. They found the leak fairly quickly and fixed it. The price was fair and they were honest and pleasant to interact with. We are very satisfied and highly recommend them.

After having my sewer line back up twice in two years due to root intrusions in the terracotta (!) pipe, I decided it was time to replace rather than just clear the line.  Travas was one of 3  plumbers that came to assess the issue.   I was impressed with his knowledge of and comfort with excavation.  He offered a fair price and followed through on everything as promised.  Emails and texts were promptly returned, questions thoroughly answered, online payment was easy, and permits and inspection handled without incident.  He and his team got started at 8a and were done by 3p.  I remain impressed with the speedy and professional work.  I've found the plumber I'll be calling for as long as I call Philly home.

From calling April to having Anthony and Steve come fix our shut-off valve it was until an hour (unheard of scheduling in 2021 Philly!!!). Great professional service, would highly recommend them for any plumbing issues you have!

Great work from this company,  Anthony, the technician was very professional and accurate in his work.  Highly recommend this company for your plumbing needs. They showed up when they were supposed to and texted and call when on the way to the home.

Had a slow running bathroom drain. They were 1.5 hours late, but I had told them I was home all day, so it wasn't a big deal. They snaked it quickly, and they were in and out in about 30 mins. The price was very competitive as well.

If you need a plumber, this is the company to call! I can't recommend them enough. After so many other companies charged service fees and failed to figure out the issue, this company took the initiative and thoroughly evaluated the issue and resolved the problem. I'm beyond grateful to have found them.

As a semi new homeowner I was dreading the day I have to get plumbing work done but these guys made it SO much easier. Somehow, just my luck, BOTH sinks' pipes broke in the same week and I needed to get the P Pipe replaces ASAP.

After getting ghosted (story of my life) by another company, Travas and Jay came to my rescue, at 7pm on a Saturday night nonetheless (we figured since it wasn't the biggest job the other guy lost interest).I was hesitant in calling Evonomy because it looked like they only had one review BUT when I opened the 'hidden' reviews they were great, I think yelp hides them bc people didn't pick stars and just wrote their thoughts. I appreciated that the economy guys treated my issue with the same seriousness as they would something larger.

They were very knowledgeable and helpful and made me feel at ease about the whole thing. When the problem was a little worse than expected Jay didn't flinch and ran to Home Depot to get more parts, was back within the hour and finished the job. A few days later I thought there was a crack in the pipe that was installed and they came back no questions asked and double checked everything. I have already given friends their contact info and will keep their number handy just in case anything else pops up.

I got quotes from 5-6 companies and these guys provided the best quote. For your sanity just call these guys first and go with it!

Economy Drain Cleaning & Plumbing came out twice to help us with a leak. They came out quickly and were able to locate and fix the leak. Very nice and communicative. We will definitely use them in the future for any plumbing issues.

Won't be calling them again.  The work they do is good but the prices are insane!  Went I called and made the appointment. I told them what was wrong and what needed to be done.  They said $185 for snaking and $350 for hydrojetting.  When the work was done, I was charged $450... on top of that the tech said I can use a credit card for the payment and with taxes it was $463.50.  He never said there was a 3% charge ($13.50) for using a credit card.  I told him that I can pay by check to and I would have if I knew there was a charge for that!!  These guys are a scam... make sure you confirm and reconfirm the payment before an work is done.  Also, these guys don't have the proper tools... they had to go to home depot to get a snake... shouldn't a licensed plumbing company have a snake in their truck?  Never using them again!!!

This is residential not commercial! It's a 1st floor of a duplex. So $265 for removing a toilet and putting it back... WOW!!!

With a main drain blockage and unable to shower because of it, I went in search of drain cleaning company.  Economy had great ratings online, so I gave them a call.  I really liked that they had two tiers of pricing, snake and hydro, as others I called had only one quoted price (the higher one).  They also had  same day availability, so I went ahead and scheduled.  They are very well set up electronically, providing both text and email communication. Manuel arrived a few minutes before the 1-3pm window.  I explained the issue, and off to work he went, first attempting to clear the blockage by snaking.  Unfortunately, he found tree roots in the drain, so hydro was necessary.  Back to work he went and in about 45 minutes the drain was completely cleared.  I really liked that he took the time to explain the issues and how the different techniques worked.  I also liked that, in going over some other issues, Manuel told us what we DIDN'T need to worry about right now (rather than try to sell us on more repairs). We are now considering Economy for a slow tub drain and replacement of the pipe section that had revealed the blockage.  Very happy with the service.

Anthony was efficient, veteran friendly, and all around a good guy. Very skilled technician.

We woke up to water in basement and they had Anthony out to visit us within a few hours. He took the time to show us exactly what was wrong (cracked drain) and how he planned to fix it. When he was here, he made sure we understood everything he was doing and got the drain repaired in a morning. He and Steven were very conscious about COVID.  They also did a wonderful job cleaning up. We will use them again for any future issues and we recommend them.

Amazing. Amazing. Amazing!! My basement started to leak with sewage. I've called multiple plumbers and some no showed, one said he couldn't do and one quoted me a ridiculous amount of money. I texted the owner and within 1 hour someone was at the house and problem fixed 1 hour after that. Techs were great, explained everything and knew exactly what they were talking about.  Very affordable. I will literally use them for any and every plumbing problem I have in the future.

Sunday night after dealing with a flooded basement and unsucessful attempts to unclog the drain line myself, I gave Economy Drain Cleaning & Plumbing a call. An hour later, Anthony was here and went right to work. He evaluated, figured out and cleared the drain within 20 minutes. These guys came through bigtime...a real class operation.

Highly recommend! We had a big plumbing issue where we couldn't use any of our toilets in our house. So we called these guys and they had really fair prices. They had good communication throughout and finished the job well. They know what they're doing. Loved working with these guys. All really down to earth and easy to work with.

We had them come out for another job to jet our pipes. That works much better than having someone snake the pipes. Would definitely work with them again in the future

We had a leak from a toilet and called many places to try to get it fixed. Economy was very professional and responded quickly to my request. They were able to give me an appointment time that worked with my schedule. They called prior to their arrival to confirm time within the window they had given me. We called for an emergency issue and April stated she would call us back with a meeting for an estimate. We called twice and again she stated we would get back to us. Three days later , two gentlemen come by the house (one in slippers) to give us an estimate. Very unprofessional. If I'm willing to spend 5k on a job, I would at least hope I'd get a call back on time alongside someone with some sort of etiquette as far as uniform. Would not recommend to anyone.

They responded quickly to my request to inspect and clear out a very badly clogged sewer drain. They completed the job quickly at a very reasonable price and gave very good advice to remove a tree on my sidewalk that was endanger of seriously damaging underground pipes between the house and curb, potentially saving me thousands of dollars!

Our sewer system backed up and caused a real mess in our finished basement.  Unlike several other companies I reached out to earlier, they actually picked up the phone and sent two guys out to deal with it about an hour later  (crazy times, but still!).  They quickly snaked out the sewer and helped clean up some of the mess afterward (very much appreciated!).  Strongly recommended -- 5 stars.

After getting the run around from multiple plumbers and getting ridiculous quotes from others I contacted Economy Drain Cleaning and Plumbing. They were highly professional and gave honest advice. The owner asked about the issue prior to giving me quotes unlike the other companies and the quote was extremely reasonable. They came out and completed the job quickly and properly. Economy saved the day! 2 days before selling our house we had an issue with a drain pipe. Anthony came out the day of our request and we cannot say enough good things about him. He took the time to figure out what the issue truly was, tried various ways to fix it and didn't stop until he completely solved the issue. Great experience if you need to call a plumber. Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Travis the owner was in constant contact with me, taking the time to explain what was wrong and how they were going to fix the problem and the best part of all he saved me a lot of money. After having a horrible experience with a previous plumbing company it was refreshing to do business with Economy Drain Cleaning and Plumbing, I can tell they care about their customers. I highly recommend.

The guys arrived with good vibes, and examined what I thought needed to be fixed.  They unclogged the tub drain, but discovered that the waterline to the fridge was not leaking, when they pulled it out and examined it, but they went beyond the call of duty and cleaned the horrible mess behind the fridge with bleach etc. (and explained that I had had a temporary water issue from condensation, the day I cleaned the interior of the fridge.)  Intention is so important for any human interactions.  The two gentlemen came to help and were completely fair with the price.

The floor drain in my basement floor backed up and caused some flooding in my basement. Called Travas, left a message and he got back to me quickly and had Anthony at my house within 90 minutes. All this on a Sunday morning and on Father's Day!! Anthony was great was here for almost two hours and explained everything he was doing and was very thorough. The charge for his services were extremely reasonable and fair. They will be my plumbing go to from now on

Incredible people and company. my moms front drain was clogged. Called many plumbers and they wanted a lot of money and couldn't come out til the next day. They came out on a Sunday and was very reasonable. Thanks guys got me brownie points over my sister also. Lol ty!!

The guys were great! They resolved my issue with a leaky pipe in my wall. They were very thorough in their work and at a good price. Thank you so much for responding and coming fast.

From the first contact over the phone with April through the project with Anthony and Steve, I had a great experience. We had a clog in our sink drain which affected the disposal, dishwasher in addition to the drain itself. It started causing leaks under the sink which we weren't sure was even related when we called them. We also had a faucet which wouldn't run any hot water for some reason - only cold. I called Economy at 11:00 AM, April said she could have someone there between 12-1pm. Anthony called around 12:15  and said he was about 4 minutes away. They assessed the situation and Steve got to unclogging the drain right away. After that, they reinstalled the disposal, and reconnected the dishwasher to the drain, installed the new faucet (we bought ourselves the day before) and were out by 2:00. I would definitely recommend Economy and will use them again any time I have any plumbing work.

These guys are impressive. We called late morning on a Saturday and they had someone over in a few hours. They are professional, knowledgeable, and have a common sense approach to complex problems. They do a great job of explaining their assessment and executing their solution. I highly recommend their services.

Highly recommend. Reached out late at night regarding a leaking kitchen sink the week of Thanksgiving and they were able to respond quickly and were able were able to come out next day and took care of the problem in no time.  Really fair prices.
