Best Plumbing Services in Portland, OR
My general contractor recommended using Judah and The Plumbers in bathroom addition earlier this year. It was a pretty big job and took nearly three days to complete. Everyone from The Plumbers was professional and curious. We had a couple of little issues (small leak at a clean out - an easy fix - and the shower thermostat needing adjustment) but otherwise everything went very smoothly. The issues were repaired very quickly and without protest.
I am thinking about replacing my water heater with a tankless and The Plumbers are going to be my first call.

Roger and his team redid the plumbing in my entire house along with roughing out a new bathroom. They were absolutely wonderful. Quality work and a very reasonable price. For a first time home owner they were very patient with me. I will be having them back for the remainder of the work I need done. Can't say enough good things. A true pleasure to work with. Looking forward to the next project!

We are very pleased with the work Axiom provided in terms of service, price and professionalism. Elvis and Johnathon worked hard to dig a hole over 7' deep to replace our sewer lines and everything was swiftly done and on time including city inspections. Even Bruce, the owner, came by to ensure all was in order. We highly recommend Axiom!

Hans is fantastic! He's worked on a bunch of the plumbing problems here. He does good work, has reasonable prices and arrives on time. Can't beat that!

What a relief! Friday afternoon toilet won't stop filling and cutoff valves won't work. Severs phone calls later and nobody is available for a week. Mark pick up right away, on his way to another job, but gets to me within an hour! He fixes the toilet, the valve and the garbage disposal for good measure, and is gone in short order!
Thank you!
Thank you!

The last trick we could think of to get hot water out of our shower failed. It was cold, cold, COLD water or nothing. Neither of those options were good. I knew what the problem was but wasn't very confident in my ability to fix it. I like the extensive use of shut off valves in commercial plumbing. Residential plumbing is a disaster waiting to happen when I start banging around with wrenches and the like.
Having had trouble getting contractors interested in small jobs (don't get us started on the work we had done on the porch) I turned to Yelp and started pinging plumbers.
I got good responses but Doug was the only one who asked for my email address to send a quote. He had a few questions I had to find the answers for. It took a few days of messaging to get the quote and make the appointment. On a Saturday morning. On. A. Saturday. Morning.
When Doug arrived he wanted to explore. He spent some time prowling in the basement, checking out pipes and seeing what was what. I appreciated that time taken on a pretty small job. He warned us that while it was probably a simple fix the possibility existed it could be something larger. Then he fixed the shower. Bang. Done. He also cleaned up the faucet and fixed the handle that had been falling off for as long as I've lived in this house.
Then he charged us what he quoted. I felt it was a fair price and not a bad haul for a small job on the way to a larger one.
We've got a dodgy kitchen sink that's already killed several weekends for me. That's gonna go soon and we'll call Nash Plumbing again when it's time.

Sewer Renewal Specialists were professional and pleasant at every point of contact. Their work was scheduled in a timely fashion, completed on time, and comes with a great guarantee for the epoxy lining of the pipes. When they encountered unforeseen problems they went above and beyond to fix them without going over the original estimate. I would hire them again.

Drew, owner of TACC Plumbing was fast, efficient, professional, contentious and great at handling the difficult job of removing and replacing the hot water heater in the basement. He was prompt, responsive, handled the job professionally and left no mess behind. I would highly recommend TACC Plumbing for any job that needs to be done quickly at a good price. Great guy and great plumber!

I must admit that I selfishly debated whether to post this review. When you have a plumbing problem, you don't want to wait, and there seems to be a shortage of plumbers in the Portland area. When we had a blockage and leak in a pipe, I called many plumbers and Portland Plumbing was able to come the fastest. Having to wash my hair in the sink and take showers at other people's houses got old really fast. Dan said he would fit us in as soon as he could, which ended up being about five days. He replaced the pipe in a very small area and managed to do so without cutting any beams or joists. He got the job done in less than two hours. The best part of all was the bill (yes, I'm serious); I have never been charged so little by a plumber. In fact, the total bill was lower than the price I had been quoted by another plumber to simply snake the drain, which was only a temporary solution. This is the first company I will call for future plumbing work. I hope I don't regret posting this review, but I guess it's only fair to share my best recommendations in my list of contractors.

Really like Vitaliy - he's highly competent, professional, a nice guy, and did a great job both of the times that we used him. I just called him again this morning because our water heater wasn't getting hot enough. Turns out one of our two pilot lights was off and we'd neglected to check; Vitaliy absolutely refused to charge us even though we pulled him out of bed early on a Saturday and made him drive out here and mask up --- says his policy isn't to charge for a 5 minute fix. Respect!

I looked at all the handi work at my step mothers house today and we are very impressed!

Dan did a full repipe of our 108 year old home. His quote was unbeatable, he was quick, efficient, professional, and honest (we ended up saving $700 from the initial estimate!). We never felt inconvenienced, taken advantage of, or unsure of what was happening or when the work would would be done. I highly recommend Dan for any and all plumbing needs.

I was having my basement walls framed by a different company and I needed to move pipes to get it done. I hired Greenbox Mechanical to Replace plumbing that is not to code in basement. Move drain line for new supporting wall (as written in the quote/contract). This also included permit and inspection by the city. The quote was over 6500 which I thought was very high but it looked like they had good reviews and I just wanted to get it done (I won't make that mistake again). Greenbox started the job on November 8th. On the 9th, the plumber called me from his car and I could barely hear him but he said something about a leak that he admitted to causing while working, but he blamed it on old plumbing, etc. and he will need to come back on the 20th. Right when I heard the word leak, I asked for it in writing and I asked why I have to wait until the 20th when there is a leak and he just said something about scheduling. I said again, please email me everything that you did and will be doing, and he said ok. I emailed 3 times and called their office twice until they finally emailed me on the 19th (ELEVEN days later and ONE day prior to when the plumber would supposedly show up). Also, during this time, the other company that was framing my walls told me the pipes were not placed in the right spot for them to continue their work.
Greenbox quoted me $275 for a diagnosis, but they would have to open up the walls and I would need to pay for fixing the drywall. This would help see what would need to be done to fix the leak and fix plumbing. I reluctantly agreed because he also needed them to come and move the pipes further away from the wall in the basement. The plumber did show up and moved the pipes and left two giant holes in my wall as promised. Later that night, he emailed me a quote asking for $12850 more to fix the plumbing to pass the city inspection. I am not sure in what world it costs 20k to fix plumbing on a 1500 sq/ft 3 bed, 2 bath house. To recap, my plumbing used to work just fine and I didn't have any leaks. Now I have a leak, holes in my wall, and my toilet three times every time I flush it. Thanks Greenbox!

We had an emergency water leak from the toilet tank. Messaged Simpson Plumbing from their website. My request was returned within half hour from Jerry Simpson. And in less time than writing this he took our information and was on the way to our place roughly around 20 mins. Jerry's excellent, friendly, professional manner was a pleasure to deal. He was well prepared, provided free estimate before the work started. Replacement quality part (actually only few months earlier installed by cheap, non-professional handyman) was on hand and installed without delay with minimal fuss. The only downside, it was not cheap because there's an extra hefty charge of $250 for calling in emergency service without appointment in addition to repair labor and parts.. With that said he gave me fair discount along with extra deals that made it all worthwhile. We'll be using his service from here on. It's better to get it done right the first time. Thanks.

Never in my life have I encountered such rudeness. Today I witnessed two employees berate a gas attendant for the pump running slow. It was not the poor teenagers fault. If this is how the employees treat the help. I can only imagine the low quality service they would provide to me a customer.
