Best Plumbing Services in Portland, OR
So I'm going to start this off by letting you know that Patrick, the owner is not a fan of dealing with online reviews or having a website so you won't find one. He believes that building relationships with his costumers and getting referrals from them is the best way to keep his business going. That's how I found out about Patrick. He's the only plumber that I have ever used and that's never going to change. Over the past year he and I have been working to fully repipe my house. He does very quality work and does it by the book. He won't be the cheapest plumber nor the most expensive but you will get the best quality for your money from him. Hire him for your next job as you will not be disappointed with the results.

Craftwork did all the original plumbing in my house 12 years ago. I have never had a problem with any of there work. It is top quality as I do live in an upscale neighborhood. They have always been prompt with returning service calls. They completed a kitchen renovation early and at a lower cost. When I have add emergencies, they have gotten to me right away. - even adding an unscheduled stop as one of the plumbers was on the way home. I cannot speak highly enough about their work and service. Their costs are always competitive or lower than anyone else.

I used Ackerman Plumbing to replace two sinks/faucets/toilets in my bathrooms and was extremely happy with the job that was performed.
I have a 1900s house with a number of non-standard plumbing arrangements which made this project tricky but Ackerman handled it without a problem. They made useful suggestions for overcoming the hook-up issues, were very helpful in making sure that I was selecting the correct parts and executed the installations professionally. They were always prompt, courteous and honest. Finally, their attention to aesthetic detail was exceptional - I am very particular about things being centered, squared and even and they got it right the first time in most cases or quickly made adjustments when requested.
As for pricing, they were extremely reasonable on the fixtures (often coming in under the Ferguson retail prices even though they offered warranty coverage above and beyond the manufacturer's) and service charges were competitive with other plumbing services.
I will definitely use Ackerman again in the future and would not hesitate to recommend them to others.

I would definitely recommend Direct Plumbing Solutions. Eric and Tyler came out quickly to assess the issue. Not only didn't they arrive promptly but they were respectful wearing both mask and booties and they were in and out quickly. I hope that if I have a future plumbing need that the management company that owes the property we rent has them come out to fix it again.

Came out, checked the water heater leak, told us when he could do it as he would have to order the part. He told us about Stan the Water Heater Man might have the part and said to call him if he did not and he would take care of us as soon as the part came in. I want to thank him for coming right away and for giving us another one that could help us sooner. Thanks, I would use them in the future.

I would highly recommend hiring P1 Plumbing. I had a leak in my wall that was flowing for a while but I had no idea what the source was. Yuriy came out and found the leak immediately, his instincts are amazing! Right away he repaired the leak. He didn't just patch it but he replaced the leaking pipe with a new and sturdy segment and I definitely don't have to worry about that area leaking again. Really high-quality work and very thorough and cleaned up after the job. Amazing job!!

Zak, took my call at 6:00pm
Came up with a plan and an estimate through photos, then showed up bright and early and fixed a nightmare scenario in my 1915 basement, which included a giant cement basin that had FAILED as well as leaking pipes.
I cannot emphasis enough how impressed my husband and I both were with Zak. He is a true tradesperson, skilled, and graceful and kind with hysterical ladies.
I wish I could give him 10 stars for this job we are so grateful. Truly

My water heater started leaking and Pete's Plumbing was my first call. He walked me through the work to be done, what I needed to do to ensure I met code, and what model of heater was appropriate for my house. He arrived on time, answered all my questions and wrote a detailed bill so I would know exactly this breakdown of cost for the heater and work. Highly recommend to service your plumbing needs.

Okay, so I am going to sort of repost most of an experience I had today with another company here to highlight the great service I received from Cherry City Plumbing.
Called to get a water heater replaced. I was not really interested in estimates (though they did give some), I just wanted the job done and was willing to book the job then and there. I called Judson's Plumbing and it seems Judson's requires a photo of the water heater sent to them before they will commit to the job even though I gave the details concerning the water heater in question. Trouble is their office staff have no idea how to deal with graphics sent to them or they didn't want the business. Twice I sent the picture in the email address given to me. Nope, they claim they didn't get the email and nothing was returned to me saying there was a problem sending the message. Okay, let's try sending it in text. Same issue, they say they didn't get it. I am a retired software engineer, I wrote a lot of code that is used to send emails; I know how to send a text and email message. My guess is that Judson's didn't want the job (really easy install in the garage with no obstructions) so they played the we didn't get the file game and really insisted they have a picture. I do wonder about those without smart phones or the experience of sending graphics being left out of the loop. So much for inclusion.
Okay now onto the good stuff.
I called Cherry City Plumbing and they said, picture? don't need no stinking picture. Okay, so I played that up a bit but they really were surprised a picture was needed by Judson's before booking a job. Cherry City Plumbers didn't need any picture and were very professional and helpful (and nice) and booked me with Anthony, a very accomplished technician who did the job of replacing our water heater the same day for $400 less than the lowest price quoted by Judson's. My advise, call Cherry City Plumbers first and save yourself a lot of frustration and money to boot, and you won't need any stinking pictures.

Cory and his guys do everything that the other reviews said!
But it is the after service that I am commenting on.
Issue number 1 after sewer replacement was completed: Basement flooded do to sewer line backup. Called and Cory had someone out that afternoon. The backup was not an issue relating to their work but Joe scoped to find the problem and unclogged the line anyway.
Issue number 2 after sewer replacement was completed and 6 months later: Soil sinking around the new clean outs. E-mailed Cory and a crew was out within a few hours and remedied the problem. Scoped to make sure there was no line problem and filled the settling. Professionally handled with a minimum of disruption.
I am an old grouch and I have never had aftercare service like this, especially in the plumbing world.

Had a faulty water supply knob/valve to my bathroom due to it being old, as well as a faulty toilet valve that was hissing air and possibly leaking water. I called 10 plumbers in the local area who were booked for days, or it went to voicemail, or they couldn't service my area (Beaverton).
These guys called me back on the message I left for them to say they'd try to get out to my house after their next job, and get it done for me (this was about noon timeframe). They were very professional and gave me a quote for their rates upfront and estimated time to resolve the issue. They ended up fixing the faulty line as well as the inner toilet valve within the first hour of service and did a great job by verifying for me that the problem was indeed fixed! By 2:30pm, everything was resolved and signed off.
I know that this is a family-owned business and that they rely on word of mouth, so I would highly recommend them to others and hope this review helps their business.

Do not use! Was hired to fix our bathroom leak. Did not fix problems. Would not give us specific reason why. But still charged us full price! Without fixing anything!
THEN would not give us a detailed breakdown of work done, or materials used!
BEWARE better option exist in Portland!

I'm a working professional with a limited background in plumbing. A handful of folks in our condominium needed water heaters installed. Jossy plumbing was so gracious about answering all of our questions and managed the logistics with the upmost professionalism. They were also genuinely kind and easy to work with. They were realistic about bids and costs. It's clear they have decades of industry experience because they knew what they were talking about and were proactive about troubleshooting as needed. They were responsible and responsive. Do yourself a favor and rely on them for Plumbing.

Wow, a great no nonsense plumber. Schedule appointment, on time, give quote and down to business. No house call fee or down payment as many plumbers now require. Bob quoted me what it would cost if he did not run into unseen problems, he finished on time at exactly the price he quoted. He is friendly honest and takes pride in a job well done. He is now my go to plumber. Give him a try and see that he deserves his Yelp 5 star rating.

These guys did a fantastic job fixing a toilet and replacing the pressure regulator. After the work was done they checked all the faucets and made sure the water pressure was good. Friendly and professional.

I had a great experience with Wolfer's and the installation of my water treatment system. The water in Vancouver is so chemically treated you can smell the cholorine. First there was Lisa at Costco who was so friendly and knowledgeable and asked the right questions. Then Larry came out to give me an estimate. He asked me about my household usage of water and I was satisfied with the estimate. Then Gene and Angel came out and installed the system. Both were friendly and very professional. I can now drink the water and there is no chlorine smell or taste. I would highly recommend this company.

If I could give him a negative star I would. He rescheduled. Then left for over 2 hours in the middle of the h2o heater installation. Then we get a call from rapid cash that our checks had bounced. Got a call from home warranty we didn't pay our service fee. He then calls wanting his money now. We had to have our bank and rapid cash do research. I had to email home warranty my receipt saying he was paid. Then he keeps calling. He called again saying he now has all these fees and I'm trying to mess with him. He tells me he's been in an accident and fired from his job and a big son story. Rapid cash calls and says our checks are fine and they cleared. He had tried to cash the checks twice. That's why there was an issue. So we are not responsible for the fees or anything per rapid cash. I've also filed a grievance with my home warranty because this took 10+ days. I feel harassed and attacked by him. I felt horrible and was going to go pay him cash for it when I had the flu. My daughter said to wait for the banks to get everything cleared up. So if we would've not looked into this. He would've gotten $75 from us... $75 from my home warranty... $150 from rapid cash for double cashing the check... and the $75 cash from me trying to do the right thing. So he would've gotten $375 from service fees.. I wonder how many other people he's done this too? Now he has to pay the fees for it.
