I needed help with two things - problems with a hot water heater and a broken fill valve in one of the toilets. I received a very prompt reply from Apex and was able to get an appointment within a day.
The plumber arrived on time. His name is Dusty and he reviewed the two problems. He provided clear information regarding his assessment and potential options. Because I had similar problems with the hot water heater several months back and got a similar recommendation from a plumber from a different company, I chose to go with Dusty's recommendation for getting a new heater.
Dusty came back with all the materials he needed and worked for several hours straight. He was conscientious and professional. I was very happy with his work and would request him in the future.
And all those problems with not having hot water, a mother board that gave confusing error messages, and a fill valve that jumped up into the air every time the toilet was flushed are now fixed. I have hot water in every shower and in all faucets - the first time since moving here about a year ago. Although it cost more than I had anticipated, it was well worth the money.
Thanks, Dusty and Apex Plumbers. I will keep your information for future reference.

Buckeye plumbing arrived on time, completed toilet seal replacement quickly and efficiently. Didn't break the bank. I will contact them again for other plumbing jobs.

We had a clogged main drain. Two plumbers gave us huge estimates that involved extensive work. Ian from Drainbusters came and was able to open the drain. The charge was less than $200. We have used them for additional work. They are great.

Water leak sensor detected flooding from my 18 year old water heater at about 11:30pm on a Wednesday night. Called Ohio Water Heaters and they had a new water heater on site and installed by 10am the following morning.
Chris M. was outstanding! Completely professional and courteous, extremely well-versed in his products and his craft, and the bill was exactly as quoted.
I couldn't have asked for better service and I highly recommend them.

Replaced gas water heater, great price, super knowledgeable. Mike clearly knows his product and answered all sorts of questions. Highly recommended unless you want to pay more and get less somewhere else.

This is the second time I've used Discount Drains for my plumbing needs. Taylor installed an air admittance valve for our bathroom plumbing that was not properly tied to the vent. Also, Trevor was in and out in 30 minutes after replacing the check valve on our sump pump. Each time the technician was friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to work with our home warranty company. Above all, they were honest, and able to solve our problems. I don't imagine ever needing to use another plumbing company!

Today a service person from Mann entered our home without a mask to replace our garbage disposal. I askEd him if he was vaccinated and the answer was no. I asked him to get a mask and our 4 year old grandson and my husband and I (both over 65) left the home. When I called the office I was told that they could not force employees to get the vaccine. I replied, You can require them to be vaccinated to enter a home. This is absolutely irresponsible for a company to put the community at risk and to be a party to community spread of the pandemic.

Very thankful for Jess and her team. She went over the options of what type of piping would be suitable for my home and which would be best during the winter. During the consultation/quote she noticed other issues with the home and showed pictures of the concerns she had. She also pointed out that with my home being an older home it was not up to code on a couple of items. She was very thorough in describing the work that had to be done and I was pleased with what was all included. She showed pictures of all the work that was completed in the crawl space. Knowing beforehand that getting plumbing work done on my home wasn't going to be cheap. I was totally happy with the price of the work that was done and the quality of work that came with it. Thank you Plumbing One, thank you Jess, and thank the rest of the crew who installed it.

Responsive within 3 days but really no researching the cause of the problem. The rep had his kit to replace both the heating element and the thermostat before he even looked at the water tank.
Ohh he also had a $250 invoice ready. Did fix the problem at least.

We had a situation we needed taken care of right away and given all of the great reviews at the time, decided to go with EcoPlumbers. You were supposed to get an email estimate (because they're eco so no paper) but we never got that ahead of time. If we had gotten the estimate, we would've likely cancelled. Our window was 2-5pm and given how many people noted they arrived early, I expected them to be in the early part of the window. We got a call at 4:45pm that they were running late and we could reschedule. No, we waited all day with this problem and now if we call someone else, we're going to have to pay weekend rates and it wasn't something that could wait on.
The main tech quickly got a little condescending when he saw the job wasn't going to be a quick one and made some comments about our plumbing that didn't help matters. We were then told the price just for them to be there and inspect...close to $400! At this point, we had to pay it but that was before having to run to the hardware store for a part. We priced the part online and it was $20. When they got back, we were told it would be another $200! I understand labor but it was cutting a pipe and attaching another one in an open area, so I'm not sure why the major jump in price. Speaking of cutting a pipe, the condescending one was calling his girlfriend to tell him he'd be late and the other guy opened a pipe and we all heard HISSSSSSSSSS! Phone guy (which could've produced a spark) yells didn't you turn off the gas!? No, I thought you did!) This is when the hubby and I left the room and stood outside because we no longer trusted being in the same space. I understand mistakes can happen but if they'd been as careful with our gas leak problem as they were griping about having to work at 5pm on a Friday, I wouldn't have felt immediate regret.
As I began venting to others about the cost, they all said that price was high for what we were having done. This was our first time dealing with an issue like this, we had no idea what a repair for this would cost so I can't say if we overpaid or not...I just know it sure felt like we did.
They fixed the problem and we haven't had issues with it since, which we are obviously happy about. In the end all that matters is it was done right albeit overpriced. I wouldn't necessarily steer people away from them since most reviewers seem to have had a good experience with them, I wish we had been one of them.

Some time ago I called to have a shower faucet repaired. They scheduled a day or two out which isn't ideal with a leaking shower faucet but I was ok with that. Appointment was 4-5pm. Guy called at about 5:05 and said he would be there by 6. I left work early to be there by 4 mind you. 6 pm comes around.. nothing. He calls again at 6:15 and says he is just finishing up and will be there in about a half hour. Frustrating.. not even as much him being late as just not having enough courtesy to tell me BEFORE the time he said he would be there, but fine, I just want it done. I wait.. nothing. 7:30 comes around and he finally shows up at my door. He takes about 15 minutes to fix it, not too bad. Then he starts writing it up and has the nerve to make the remark of Well, it didn't take too long so I'm not going to charge you overtime (or whatever term they use) charges for being out here so late. Really! So $250 for that 15 minute call that you were 3 hours late to and you're going to try to make me feel special by not charging me extra for it? Why thank you! Not. Needless to say, this whole we will pay you if we are late thing is far from true. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

So, I accidentally dropped a tube of face wash down the toilet on Monday night. After various attempts of retrieving the tube, I resorted to Yelp for a plumber. I found Hesson Plumbing and enjoyed the reviews. Although I saw that he was available 24/7, I didn't feel that it was necessary to call in an emergency at 11 PM over face wash in the clogged toilet so I decided to wait until the morning. I called at 7 AM and reached voicemail. David (the owner) called back within 15 minutes and got me on the schedule between 11 AM - 1 PM. Prior to his arrival, I received a couple reminder texts and emails about my appointment which I thought was nice. He and Nick showed up promptly at 11 AM and were out at 11:10 AM. David was very friendly and knowledgeable. The cost for those ten minutes of service was $150 which I feel is kind of high, but he advised that it was his minimum service charge fee. After they left, I noticed that the tool they used to push the face wash through the drain left a couple metal scratches at the bottom of our toilet. I would definitely recommend Hesson plumbing again and would consider using them again. My only concern would be the cost. If a 10 minute service call is $150, I can't imagine what something a little more serious would cost.
One additional note and it's silly, but I really liked the quote on the back of David and Nick's long sleeve shirts - Stop Stressin, Call Hesson. Cute!

I called Mike's Plumbing by just finding him on a Google search yesterday. I talked to him on the phone and he gave me a quote. I needed a minor leak fixed under my kitchen sink. I told
him I would like him to fix it. He said he could come right over. He was prompt and very
pleasant, wonderful personality. The basket had come loose and needed replaced which he
did in about 1/2 hour. No more leak! His prices are low compared to two other plumbing
companies that I called for a quote. Mike's Plumbing is who I will call for all my plumbing
needs from now on. I had good luck finding Mike's Plumbing and I give him 5 Stars!

I've used Emergency Plumbing a couple of times in the last 18 months. Once to replace and relocate an expansion tank in my basement and then to reconnect some gas lines. They were friendly and professional, did a great job, and the pricing was very reasonable. Their quote was significantly less than the quote from Amanda Plumbing, another local plumbing company.

We were in dire straits with a broken sewer line. These folks came out, assessed the problem and got it done in no time. Their plumber Nate was timely, efficient, courteous, and professional. I love having a local company take care of business. Good job Amanda Plumbing!

I called on a Wednesday asking about a new water heater. They walked me through a series of questions and then gave me a quote, with the understanding that it could change if they found issues other than what I had described. This was reasonable. They arrived the next morning and got right to work. Their guy was very polite and kept things neat. He indicated that it would be a little more work because the water valve snapped off (it was very old), but there would not be any extra charges. The whole swap took just under four hours, he removed the old heater without making a mess and the bill was just as quoted. I will definitely use them again if other plumbing needs come up.
