Easy to set an appointment and they were able to come same day.

Excellent communication by phone, text, and email.  They send you a photo of their rep who is coming to your house, which is a nice perk.  You also get a heads up by email, text and a call when they are on their way.

I had sewer line issues that were taken care of in 3 visits in 2 days.   With their camera, I was able to see into my line, and everything was explained very well.  Each rep was very personable, knowledgeable and professional.

Great experience, wonderful customer service, and I highly recommend.

Water heater power flush and diagnostic for tank that may or may not be cracked. Took the time to explain the diagnosis and the best way to flush the tank annually. Thanks, Justin

My mom had her toliet replaced May 26, 2023. That's it nothing else, the flange was not replaced. A thirty minute job that took 2 hours. To my surprise,  The Eco Plumbers charged her $1,297.00. I asked for a price breakdown as to what all had been done and after speaking with the tech, I was told nothing else was done. The toliet was an American standard cadet pro,  round toliet. You can find that at your local Lowes for under $300. I asked how they came up with that pricing and was told this is across the board. It is highway robbery,  price gouging and honestly taking advantage of an elderly woman. To be named eco short for I assume economical,  I suggest they change their name. Nothing economical about their 800% markup on a standard toliet. Oh they offered $100 off her next service call. Obviously,  no more calls will be made to this company with dishonest pricing.

Cannot get them to email me a receipt for more than $ 500 spent three sayd ago.  They said that they are paperless, hence, no paper receipts. The toilet problem wasn't completely fixed, although it is better than it was. Plus they try to hard upsell you on monthly maintenance plan.

There are lots of plumbers- use someone else.

We noticed that we had moisture/wetness around the piping that was exiting our basement.  We were certain it was our plumbing.  We got Eco Plumbers name from a friend of a friend.  We reached and they were able to come first thing the next morning.  This is where I want to make others aware.  This is how they get you.  They come as quickly as possible.  We are a society of instant, instant everything.  When we have plumbing issues it is emergent in our mind and we want it fixed instantly.  So they basically have you when they walk through the door.

The decision was that the plumber would snake out our drain for a very small fee of $93.00.  Please pay attention, here is the other way that Eco Plumbers will get you.  The initial fee seems so reasonable even small.  They have started to gain your trust.

After the clearing out of the sewage line, they send back another employee to do a visual inspection of our sewage line with a camera.  I don't know how to read the video of our sewage lines, so I'm at the mercy of the camera operator.

He proceeds to tell us how awful our sewage line is and how we need it repaired as soon as possible.  As he formulates the quote he tells us that he is not a salesman and that he does not want anyone to have to spend their hard earned money.  He says that Eco Plumbers gives their customers options.  He encourages us to only fix what is needed now.

Then he flips his iPad over to me and shows me what Level 1 will be to repair our entire line.......$27,000+ and I almost vomit.  He does have other options.  Level 2 was a mere $10,000+ to fix 20 feet of our sewage line.  The worst of it as he puts it.

Again, I hope you are paying attention.  He tells us they offer financing.  That he can get almost anyone approved.  He got a guy approved with a 535 credit score for more than what we are looking at.  All the while encouraging us to do Level 2 but that Level 1 is needed and that if in a couple of years we want to do the entire line, it will only cost $17,000+ because we would have already paid $10,000 of $27,000 total.

As we try to muddle through our shock.  The Eco Plumbers salesman begins to scare us.  This is the third and final tactic that Eco Plumbers uses.  The salesman says that we can not flush our toilet paper.  He keeps repeating over and over that we must not under any circumstances flush any toilet paper until we get at least the line by the house repaired.  We let the salesman know that we have to discuss this before making any decision this costly.

The next day my husband makes it his mission to get at least one other quote from another plumber.  As he begins to call around, the other companies offer to take a look at the video that was done the day before by Eco Plumbers.  So we work on getting that video.  It did take some back and forth, but we were persistent and we finally got the video emailed to us.  We sent it on to two other area plumbing companies.  Both companies responded the next day saying that they did not see anything alarming in that video.  But each company requested additional photos just to be thorough.  One of the two companies even offered to come out and take a look in person at our sewage / plumbing.

That plumbing company's owner was actually the person that came out today to our house.  He balked at the quote of $27,000+ and shook his head.  He even put his own camera in our sewage line to ensure that he was not missing something.  He went over everything and said we are not in need of any sewage repairs.  He did not charge us one cent.

So we went from needing $27,000+ in sewage repairs from Eco Plumbers to needing $0 in repairs from two other area plumbers.

Please be patient and always get a second or even third estimate.  There are shady companies out there and we almost got taken by one.  Thankfully we believe in getting multiple quotes for home improvement work.

I've reached out to Eco Plumbers on two separate occasions for relatively minor plumbing help (ex., kitchen faucet replacements).  Both times the quoted cost was egregious. I couldn't understand why until recently. The owner was apparently saving up money for a marketing campaign extolling his own virtues. He couldn't graduate from high school (really?) and we are all paying the price. Don't use this company. Don't feed the owners ridiculous inflated ego. Change the channel and don't help create the new MyPillow guy.

I had them come out because I could not relight the pilot light on my standard gas water heater.

I scheduled my appointment online on a Friday for a Monday and I was worried about the timing because the date was confirmed, and I received reminders, but had no idea what window of time it would be. Fortunately, I was one of the first appointments of the day.

The plumber was friendly, courteous, and professional. We talked about the water heater, he showed me what I did wrong (didn't have the temp set to vacation), and waited around to make sure it stayed lit. While passing the time, we talked about my options for a new hot water heater since this one is  11 years old. He took pictures and videos of the space and current setup, provided me quotes on the spot, and confirmed my email to make sure I would get a copy of the quotes. The quotes are good for a month and he asked me when the office could follow-up with me about a decision. I want to get another quote but also I'm having other work scheduled on my house right now and wanted to give my protective dog a break from seeing so many strangers.

There was no charge for the pilot light (first visit is complimentary) visit.

We were able to get quick service and the technician was very nice. However, the cost of the job was exorbitant for our leaking toilet repair. Before starting the job, he offered a variety of options that ranged from $1,200+ to $440. I chose $440 to replace the seal (which is still high, but he was there and we needed it to be repaired.) After he finished the job, he said that the flange screws came out with the old seal and he needed to add that to the bill. It ended up being $610! Come on - were the screws gold-plated? There's no way two screws cost $170. I see many reviews stating the same type of complaints here, Google reviews, BBB, etc. Save yourself the fleecing - hire another contractor with better ethics.

The good. Convenient online scheduling, advance notification of who is coming and a picture to identify them, on time appt arrival, the plumber they sent out was awesome. Very knowledgable and friendly.

The not as good. They also inspect your hot water heater and water main shutoff as part of the visit standard. Even if you are not having issues with those things. It seems like this is opportunistic for finding things to quote for repairs. In my case, it did generate an on the spot quote and I did feel slightly pressured to make a decision. IMO, not the best business practice from a customer perspective.

I would use them again.

The response time is good, however, the first technician that came out to check out our hot water heater said we needed a new one. The problem was in the communication from the first technician that said if we bought their commercial grade hot water heater, it would be $2400 installed. But he said it's a lot cheaper to buy it from Home Depot  but he did not say they would not guarantee it if you bought it from  Home Depot. (We heard that from the second technician that came out the next day). He said it would be $1,350 minus the $552.55 that woils put labor at $797.45. instead, the labor was 1350 flat fee. The second technician that installed a new hot water heater. I apologize for the miscommunication but that didn't help call Cindy at all and they didn't try to make any adjustment for the misunderstanding. I stated the company needs to have meetings on how to make pricing very clear.

We kept having water showing up in our spare bathroom but could not find a leak anywhere in the toilet or sink so we called eco plumber to check it out. They came during the day when I was at work and gave my girlfriend 2 options - a pull and reset which would cost $430 or a full toilet replacement for $1200. She felt as if she had no other choice so she took the cheaper option. This entire job, from entering our home to leaving, took less than an hour and they charged $430. When I found out that was what they charged and all they did was a pull and reset I asked to see they receipt they gave us. They didn't even give us an itemized receipt. I called to ask for an itemized receipt breaking down what they charged us over $400 for and they said I will have to wait until someone from the care center can reach out and I'm still waiting on that. Absolutely unprofessional behavior to not even leave an actual itemized receipt when doing any sort of labor and if they truly are charging over $400/hr for labor I would not recommend this company to anyone unless you have no other option.

Tried to charge me $740 for installation of a toilet flange + wax seal ($450 for just a seal replacement. Total parts cost $30 max at a hardware store. Takes 15 min to install. Insane ripoff!   Had them out a few years for a gas line estimate. They were 4x the pice of other plumbers. Don't use this plumber for anything unless you want to pay a ridiculous price.

We needed a drain clog cleared and Eco Plumbers insisted the toilet had to be replaced.  The toilet worked fine, it just wasn't draining properly.  Eco Plumbers pressured us into buying a new toilet instead of doing the cheaper fix of just clearing the drain clog.  I will not be calling Eco Plumbers again!

This company is completely UNETHICAL!!! Run don't walk away from them!

To start:

They spent 3 days to install a big box hardware store thermostat and charge 3xs the cost of what the materials were. Yes, 3 days for a two wire thermostat and over $700!

This caused issues to our unit. We had a second opinion and turned out the unit would need substantial repairs. We called Eco plumbers referenced their Happiness Guarantee and got bounced around from call center to call center before the call was lost.

We then get a call from the service manager who was extremely combative and threatening. We then find out through the BBB they recorded us with our our knowledge. They also continued to charge our credit card after we canceled their service pack.

Synopsis: they are crooks that don't care about customers and doing the right thing.

I bought a offer $93 for sewer drain clearing with no clog guarantee with a camera inspection  of main sewer line.
Taylor CordleHe kindly explained our problems and cleared a clogged sewer drain on May. 17.2022.  And a few hours later the camera tech came out and put the camera in the sewer and looked at it, and showed me  greasy and roots at 29 feet.  He tried to up-sale it to do a hydronic clean ( cost $1,675). I thought Tayler should be clean the drain up to 75 feet, but the results were disappointing. My husband contacted the home warranty company and they sent someone from the Drainmaster company. The technician checked with the camera and did a hydronic clean, but the price is $450 (for Warranty customer) which is 1/4 cheaper than Eco Plumbers. The picture below is before hydronic clean, when the Drinmaster technician shows it with the camera. I highly recommend using Drainmaster.

Eco Plumbers installed a new Bradford White water heater for me end of November 2021.  Paid just shy of $2000 for the heater and installation. This water heater failed on 3/18/23 after less than 16 months of use.  Eco came out and gave a quote of $1400 to install another.  The heater itself was still under warranty, so the entire $1400 was for labor.  I was flabbergasted that they would unabashedly quote this exorbitant fee, apparently feeling no duty to bear any responsibility for the failure.  Not saying the heater failed due to improper installation.  Just saying most reputable companies would stand behind the product they sell, and in the interest of good customer relations would at least offer a break on the installation fee.  Would never do business with them again. They did have the decency not to charge for the service call.  Otherwise, I'd have reduced them to one star.
Water Heaters Plus! installed my new heater for half of Eco's quote.

I strongly recommend against Eco plumbers. They charged 400$ to spend 30 minutes of work snaking a drain. It was actually quoted at 475$, but they clearly increased the price of the quote such that the coupons and discounts would bring the total to 400$ no matter what. They'll find ways to overcharge you for services other plumbers could likely do for half of the price.

They are extremely predatory and shady. If you're ever experiencing plumbing issues, save yourself the frustration and just find somebody else. Unless of course you enjoy getting ripped off. Then by all means, give them a call.

We definitely did NOT need a new AC unit.
(FYI: we have a camera on our unit now.) see below.

Fire & Ice repaired in less than an hour. Employee was training another at the time of visit. This employee was obviously not trained in how to maintain or repair our unit only in how to sell us a new one. Tried to get anyone on the phone that we could give various details to avoid this situation. No one returns calls. Supposed to get a call from a Customer Care Specialist. Never happened. Left large equipment at our house that we now are driving across town to drop off. Lied to our insurance adjuster about the 7 year old unit dying from wear and tear. Unit has been running for about a week with no trouble after $200 fix.... Do better!!
Still appreciate that call back instead of having to post this review.
FYI : we have a camera on our AC unit now. Because it also looked like a wire was cut. We have photos. This must be why the employee thought we needed a new $13,000 unit.

Be careful. Don't agree to the first price estimate. After I was given a price, I said that I wanted to get a second estimate and then  before I knew it their price was reduced by about half! Great news but I would rather have a good faith estimate in the first place.

I agreed to delete my negative review in exchange for a full refund.  If I can't delete this review, I agreed to make it satisfactory.  Positives: Eco Plumbers did unclog my main sewer line twice and completely refunded me 2 separate charges ($431+$93), 'just because I wasn't happy'.  Eco Plumbers therefore also fulfilled their no clog guarantee or it's free as advertised.  Negatives: [deleted in exchange for a full refund].

Needed a fill valve replacement...a handle on my comode as it was sticking...and a tub spout replacement. Many conversations on work to be done....busy printing  estimates....made me dizzy and confused.  My son looked at the finished jo...checked Lowe's for parts which we determined  was around $75.00 at retail.  I thought it was major repair from his conversation. Long story short...$691.22!  My stupidity and being 83 years old but I got a little wiser. I have told all my friends and hopefully anyone who lives in my condo community....NOT to use Eco-Plumbers. They were true to their advertising of being friendly, etc., but left out their unfair business practices. I now see why they are all over TV.  AND no, they will not get the chance to replace my water heater as it was of most interest to them...pictures and all.

We have used Eco Plumbers for years.  While they have always gotten the job done,  they are on time, and their technicians are very nice, their fees are out of control. As seniors, we are moving on to find another company.  The technician came to snake two bathroom drains. It was exactly what we needed, but the cost for 30 minutes of work was $440.00 That is ridiculous. Most of my drain problem was caused by the kind of stopper Eco Plumber installed when they did one of our bathrooms about 9 months ago.  The stopper cannot be removed, so it is impossible for the homeowner to try and clean the drain of hair on a regular basis which we always did in the past.  They also quoted us ^660.00 to install a new dishwasher.  I got the job done for $175.00

They scheduled and asked if they could come another day because of emergencies. I said sure, no problem. They were to come today. Never showed up. When we called to ask if they were coming we were told, we only have a few technicians who work at night . We didn't ask for one at night but between 12-7 pm. No apology or anything. I guess they are not a business of their word. I'll make sure I pass this name along as a Do Not Call!

Had a water heater that died after 26 years, it lived a great life. Called Eco Plumbers who sent someone out for a Free estimate on a replacement. Josh did the estimate, even though the price was higher than your big box stores Lowe's/Home Depot you have to look at the product being sold. You're big box stores sell lower end name brands. Where they are selling the Bradford White Defender series which they deal exclusively in water heater's. The actual install was accomplished same day by Adam. Super good individual who explained everything as it was done. Completed in under three hours. Super happy with how things went. Great experience with this company.

I have had them out for several all services at this point.  My first service with them was because I had a shower head that was leaking in the wall. They were able to easily fix it for me. I then had a gas line problem to my fireplace and they were able to fix the line and get it hooked up so the on/off valve works. They were out to fix my sump pump when it was pumping out into the foundation of my house. I've also had my water heater replaced and it was a quick swap. I was very much impressed with the install and how timely they were. And most recently, I just had them out to replace an old toilet. I have had different technicians each time and they have all done a wonderful job on the projects in my home. I would recommend the eco plumbers!

My water heater needed replaced. When they came to replace it, they dropped the old water heater still filled with water down my stairs (complete accident) but damaged my carpet and walls. From that day, I have had a very unprofessional experience with their care team. I was told I would get a call to talk about how they would fix the damage, I did not. I reached out two days later. Their third party told me it would be a month from the incident before they could fix the multiple holes in my drywall. I had to call multiple times to have them find another contractor to do it in a timely manner. They told me and the carpet cleaners two different days to get the carpets cleaned, and did not return my call on that miscommunication. I am disappointed in how their care team handled the incident and would not recommend.

We were freaking out because water was collecting in basement. Ole boy thought there was a broken pipe. Called Eco Plumbers. They answered promptly when we called @7:00 am., Responding to all questions patiently & thoroughly. Set up appointment for same day estimate and within a couple of hours, Dan the service guy arrived. In no time he identified the problem. That was great news. What was not so great were the estimates. One was for repair and the other replacement. They both involved mucho $$$$
Free estimates are cool to get it... as allowed us to opt for DIY.  Definitely recommend getting an estimate from Eco and deciding from there.

Called on a Friday afternoon to receive a main drain special . When technician arrived he didn't even offer the service I initially requested . Tech suggested I snake the drain myself and call back if it didn't work. He had several options but they were pricey He was nice enough to offer a 60 dollar half gallon of something to used after I snaked it myself. He told me I could call back if it didn't work. Well it didn't and when I called back was informed no one could talk to me until Monday. 1/10 wouldn't recommend

Our only shower started leaking through the ceiling below over the fourth of July weekend.  We were able to make an appointment for the 6th from 8-2.  We took a day off work to be available.  Our scheduled time came and we were told they would be late due to a number of emergency appointments that had come in.  When they called again hours later they were so far behind they weren't going to make it at all.  They offered a $50 credit to reschedule but the next available appointment wouldn't be for at least five days.  I'm sure their emergency appointments were far more profitable than our scheduled one but the inability to use our shower is an emergency to us.  They have shown they have no respect for their customers time and don't stand behind their own scheduling.  We will no longer consider using their services.

We discovered water trickling up from a soaked subfloor near our washing machine. (This on THE VERY DAY that a roofing crew finished up a repair that had water coming in from the other end of our house.) I'd heard a radio ad for The Eco Plumbers virtual consult and it seemed like the perfect way to get a quick set of eyes on our problem and narrow down the possible sources.

The virtual consult was great -- I carried my iPad right to the water-spots and the wall behind the washing machine. The tech gave me 2 hypotheses on the spot, then assigned me some homework to narrow it down even further, until they could schedule an in-person tech to come give us a quote. (The two hypotheses? Either water coming from the machine or from the supply line in the wall. Spoiler! It was inside the wall.)

The in-person tech that came out the next day, Hayder, was top-notch. My wife was concerned about bringing someone into our home given the current isolation situation. Hayder demonstrated perfect guidelines-recommended behavior in the 3+ hours he was here: mask, gloves, and booties never came off and he respected as much distance as possible in our tight kitchen/laundry room.

I see that people have complained of quote inflation / prices in the past. We didn't feel taken advantage of in the least. We had a pinhole fracture in a poorly-welded elbow joint on the copper line. Hayder give us two options -- a quickish fix (seal the leak, replace the elbow) or fix it right (cut both lines short and install new supply lines, box and spigots.) We ended up doing option 2. It wasn't cheap by any means, but the work was far better than the ham-handed work that someone (probably some general contractors) did on the original install in 1980. So for us it was worth it.

My wife and I were I impressed with Eco's communication throughout. They use a variety of project mgmt and communication tools very well. Before Hayder even arrived we were texted his picture so we knew who to expect, and all of the quoting, acceptance and billing were done in the cloud which minimized physical contact (ugh, who wants to pass a clipboard with pen signatures back and forth in this day and age?)

We would absolutely use the Eco Plumbers again if the need arises.

We have used Eco Plumbers several times now and have never been disappointed. Their service is excellent --- they wore masks during the COVID era --- (unlike some other repair folks that we've had recently), and they get the job done. They may be more expensive than some others, but they are always available and do professional quality work.

I never ever write reviews but this has me so upset I have to, 3 months ago I hade Eco Plumbers install 2 hot water tanks and quite frankly was pleased, knowing how I felt about the previous experience with them I decided to call and have them reinstall a kitchen faucet , 1/2 bath faucet and disposal with my own fixtures. I was willing to pay a fare price however I was shocked when they came to my house and gave me a price of almost $1300.00 ( with a straight face) Again I was supplying all the items that were to be installed except for 2 supply lines that they wanted $186.00 for I bought  the same supply lines for $12.00 at Menards. I now feel totally used by this company about my hot water tanks ,( How much did I over pay for those).
I can't tell you not to use them but I will say they seem to try fool you into using them with cute commercials but their prices are very ugly.

UPDATE:
After reading the review below about the poor value, someone from The Eco Plumbers contacted me and refunded ~$129, making my price match the billboards I had seen: ~$98. I was impressed by this willingness to compromise. I don't think a local plumber would have cared. The Eco Plumbers obvious wants to create a good reputation for themselves. Still... what if I hadn't complained on Yelp?

ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Try a local independent plumber for a better price and more honest quote.

They bait and switch with their billboards and radio advertising - they say a drain clog costs one price until they show up, then the price is almost 4x what they advertise. And only after you haggle with the technician does the price drop to about 3x what you heard on the radio. It certainly doesn't feel like you're getting honest, straightforward pricing.

My clogged kitchen drain cost $229 to unclog, despite the fact that it took 5-10 minutes to snake. I had already snaked it myself, so I expected there would be more work involved. But no. After working for a few minutes, the clog cleared and my money had vanished, too.

Oh well, my mistake. Next time I will call a more honest, local, mom and pop plumber.

Tried to book service for a small leak. Got an immediate call back. I was told that regular visit is one week out, but that I could book a more expensive visit before that. The customer service just hung up the phone once I said that I am not willing to pay extra for someone to come within a week for a regular small repair. Unbelievable, but at least did not waste more of my time and money (based on previous reviews) on such unprofessional company. This company is not in business to create repeat business, they just want to rob you of your money and fast.

If you're interested in their $99 or it's free drain clear don't expect them to tell you that it's only for a temporary fix and only for your main sewer line. Need your sink or tub drain cleared? That is over $300! Their advertising is a complete scam and the definition of bait and switch. If I didn't know how much it would cost going into the repair it wouldn't be so offensive. Putting up billboards and coupons saying it's $99 or less to clear your drain but not saying it only applies to a main sewer line it bad business. I also had my main sewer line cleared by them in 2018 and they said it didn't apply to that. Now two years later they're saying that it's only for that and only an temporary fix. Can't have it both ways! I'd be happy to pay a different company more money that's upfront and honest. Will never call them again!

Professional and got to our house the day I called, but they charged quite a bit to dig a deeper sump pump pit. They told us they would put a new lid/cover on the pit that would be built in, but they didn't have the correct piece so they didn't fulfill that part of the job. They provide free check ins/visits and were responsive and even refunded us a little because of the incomplete job. So, I have some mixed feelings about this company, but I would probably contact them again if I needed to.

My toilets, shower and tub were backing up when in use and it would take forever for the water to go down.  EcoPlumbers sent out their Tech, who immediately found where the problem was.  He explained what he was going to do.  Within an hour and a half, my toilets were flushing properly; no back up water in the shower or tub.  He had me flush both several times to ensure I was satisfied with the work.  I was given a senior discount and am very satisfied with the work done.  Should I be asked about a plumber, I will always suggest EcoPlumbers for the excellent work and very professional towards their customers.

I would not recommend this company due to their exorbitant pricing. My kitchen sink was clogged and there was a leak under the sink.  The charge was $622 for them to snake the drain and replace a 6 inch section of pipe.  It took them 45 minutes.  They did offer a cheaper option of $400 but this did not include fixing the leak.  Amanda from their company told me that I should not have had the work done if I didn't like the price.  I agree that this is buyer's remorse.  I know nothing about plumber pricing, and I did not find out until later that Jack Woods and The Waterworks would have done this job for hundreds less.

Eco Plumbers were great.  We had a number of texts and emails from them before the plumber showed up.  They even sent a photo so we'd know who to look for.  Austin was great.  He found the issue and addressed it all within 35 minutes.

THE ECO PLUMBERS...absolutely the best in my sole opinion.   Before I began using THE ECO PLUMBERS I investigated other corporate plumbing operations in Cbus and followed my gut in making my choice.    Never could I have been more impressed with their clinicians and their extreme approach to meeting every need that the customer has.

Haydar was here this visit and made the shift from the antiquated leaking corroded main water valve.   He needed to run to get some additional parts that weren't expected and he was both apologetic that he had to do that and was diligent in getting things in a timely manner.

I appreciate the ability for all visiting clinicians to be so clear in communicating with me and being concerned that I was understanding everything.

Impressed definitely.

I love how Eco plumbers decided that as my review was not written on the day of service that I did not have service with them. I also love how they assume that I would book the appointment under my name and not under my husbands.

Well, Eco Plumbers due to your TLDR response. I'll update my review by stating you deserve one star for your customer service dept. Who decided they wanted to respond to my review nearly a year after the service was completed.

What a freakin' knee slapper.

Thanks, Eco plumbers. I know who NOT to use in the future.

Here's a a tip... let sleeping dogs lie. My review weighed both the pros and cons of your business, which was a fair review. Clearly you were butt hurt I did not want to give you five stars for your overpriced service, as so many others have also claimed on their reviews.

Get over it.

I have had to call Eco Plumbers in two different occasions now and I have to say I will continue to use them for my plumbing services! The first time I used them was back in April 2018 when I moved into my condo. Unfortunately before move in I noticed my water tank was leaking. Eco Plumbers were actually not the first company I called. After a bad experience with another company who refused to do the work because they didn't like my lines and tried to get me to work with an uninsured person the tech knew, I called Eco Plumbers. I think I had less than a week before move in and they got the job done! They sent someone out the day I called and got the work done right before I moved in and while I was at work so I didn't have to take a day off. Both guys who stopped out were awesome!!! I wish I remembered the techs name who did the survey (not actual removal and replacement of the tank) because he was awesome and super funny.

I again had to call this past week for lack of hot water and a clogged bathtub. Eco Plumbers were the only ones I called this time. At first I was bummed because the soonest they could come on my schedule was after hours which was a $75 fee but luckily(???) I was still sick from work the day they were to come out so I called and asked if they could come earlier (they did and since it was during normal hours there was no fee!) Problems were immediately taken care of (nothing was wrong with the water tank). Chris and Taylor were my techs this time around and they were professional, courteous and knowledgeable.

Make no bones about it, they are expensive but I think it is worth it when you have professionals who are good at their job and deliver great customer service. They have definitely earned my business!!

I can't recommend The Eco Plumbers enough! I went into my basement on Tuesday and saw that multiple pipes had burst above my water heaters. I called The Eco Plumbers and within an hour, Bobby came to evaluate the situation and give a recommendation. He gave me three options to fix the situation and also explained the rationale behind each of those options, which made me feel confident in my choice.

In the end, Bobby and Dave replaced over 70 feet of piping in my basement to prevent future leaks (turned out, a former owner had done a DIY job and adhered the pipes with cleaner, not glue, so they were all starting to come apart). They moved their schedules around to accommodate my needs, and they stayed until 10pm working nonstop to get the job done. While they were in there, they found yet another plumbing issue and fixed it on the spot for me. I was so impressed with their attentiveness and professionalism, and in fact I'm about to call them again for another, unrelated piping issue that popped up! If you have a plumbing issue that you want done right AND done quickly, I would absolutely recommend them.

Extremely disappointed with the work of Eco Plumbers.  Would not recommend them at all.  First, they set up appointment and showed up without needed materials to complete the job.  Had to come back another day to do work.  Left a complete mess of my lawn and left without saying anything about the job being complete..

I have used them for 7 yrs, they replaced a water heater and two toilets as well as repaired some leaks in that time. The technicians and service were great. I didn't get other quotes as felt like it was fair. However just recently I needed to replace the kitchen faucet - which we provided. Since it was a newer faucet the hoses to connect to water source needed to be upgraded as well.  I called them and did not check pricing or ask for a quote at the time of call as scheduled online. They gave me an estimate on the spot  to install of  $ 644.  It was not an emergency repAir. We had scheduled it for the  next available appointment. I would have told them never mind I will look elsewhere had the existing faucet been operable. I had already gone 3 days without one and was trying to get a jump on Thanksgiving baking. Just a heads up to get the estimate BEFORE they get there.  To get a comparison- i called another highly rated  plumber and was quoted $175.  Lesson learned. I am sad because I liked them. When I complained about the price they justified with: Over the last two years, there has been pretty substantial price increases for just about everything in the world and we as a business have had to align our pricing in order to stay in business and provide our customers quality work. And then We do not price by the hour, but by the job at hand.  Again lesson learned.

Service call to replace gas starter on water heater(my diagnosis). Little research online, replacement starter $119.  Tech informed me problem was a dirty something. After cleaning and no resolution , replacement something was needed. Off to warehouse to retrieve. Surprise, replacement didn't solve problem. Needed a new gas starter. No surprise to me. They would install new one for $479...That's when I asked them to leave. Call to eco office resulted in offer to deduct service call from total as well well as $25 good Will gesture. At this point, confidence in this business is zero.
Rep I talked with informed me increased costs were used for their warranties, as well as van maintenance..bye bye eco.

BEWARE..,,Eco isn't for economical...$324.00 is way too much to put a tank back on the toilet base. I had removed it to replace the guts but it wouldnt fit correctly. After 2 days of messing with it, I called Eco. I could have replaced the entire toilet for a lot less. The employee was spot on, nice, & polite, was here & gone within an hour. I had already bought the kit, shouldn't have been more than $75. -$105.

I had Eco Plumbers in for an estimate. Once they have me the cost of a new hot water unit installed they seemed very pushy after I told them I wanted to make a few phone calls. They told me they would stay here while I made phone calls. It made me very uneasy and nervous. Very pushy.

After writing the review below, We were contacted by Eco Plumber and they reviewed our service and have refunded a fair amount of the money previously charged.  We are appreciative.

My biggest problem with Eco Plumber was the price for their service.  The two men servicing our plumbing issue were respectful.  They both were here a total of two hours, the first to evaluate, yep we had a frozen pipe.  After a half hour he was walking out the door with next guy on the way to repair the pipe.  The second guy was here no more than 1 1/2 hour.  Pipes not frozen, just separated. Replaced the pipe which could not have cost more than $15.  The bill.....$995.00
Now our insurance would not send out a water repair company until we had taken care of the plumbing issue.  So we paid the bill.  I will NEVER suggest Eco plumbing.  Not only were we traumatized by the power of water destruction, but Eco Plumbers took advantage of our need and charged a ridiculous amount, knowing we were

I'm going to lead with the only negative item: these guys aren't cheap. They quoted me 25% more than the competition. Ouch! I still used them for two reasons - overwhelmingly positive reviews, and the job we had done was big enough that we needed financing.

Now for the good.

1) They did a free on-site quote. Everything is done paperless, which means I got copies of everything in my email instantly. Adam did my quote, and he was very professional. He took time to ask questions, and gave me a range of options for the equipment replacements I needed. The final price did not deviate from the quote.
2) Brian and Nick showed up to do the work. They got me in a couple days after I called to make the appointment, compared to some companies taking over a week. They kept everything clean, worked quickly, and did a great job. I have confidence in the products they use - nothing cheap. When they were finished cleaning up, Brian took the time to answer any questions and Nick gave some friendly attention to my dog. They were nice guys who did high quality work.

Bottom line: if you don't have to worry about cost (or if the ability to finance is more important than the price) you can't go wrong with this company.

We had a shower leak and the plumbing froze in our downstairs basement. We had originally called another plumber for the shower (before the pipes froze) who took a week to get scheduled and then the day they were supposed to come out they said they weren't contracted in our area. We hadn't decided on a new plumber and then our pipes froze so we had to get someone in pretty quickly.

The reviews for Ecoplumbers were very good so I gave them a call at 10a. They were very pleasant over the phone and said they would get someone out today. I got a call at 1:30 that Robert was on his way followed by a text confirming the information along with his picture. The thing that sealed the 5 star rating was Robert. He was courteous, helped explain things as well as offer multiple solutions and very respectful of us and our house. He even said if at any time we felt like we weren't receiving 5 star service to please speak up. He took care of our needs promptly and taught us a couple of things for the future. Great service! I would recommend this company and Robert specifically to anyone in need of plumbing services.

We have used EcoPlumbers a number of times in the past. The service has always been excellent, and the pricing reasonable. Unfortunately, my last experience has completely soured me on ever using them again.
I had a water heater, at a rental property, that was actively leaking due to a crack in the tank. EcoPlumbers responded in a timely and professional fashion, as usual.  However, this time there quote was for over $2200, to replace the tank and approximately 3 ft of copper pipe. I was shocked, but in a bind for time, as the tank was actively leaking, and getting an ever-growing area of the carpet wet (the house is a ranch on a slab). I authorized the work.
That evening, after checking a few resources on the web, and calling a few other local plumbers, my suspicions were confirmed, I had been ripped-off; this job should have cost half what I was charged. It's a shame, really; I thought I had found a good company to replace the plumber I had previously relied on, after he retired.
So, to summarize, EcoPlumbers can be a good company, with reasonable prices, until they feel they have you over a barrel, and then they will go into full-on rip-off mode. Don't take the chance.

This was the second time I used this service. In September they installed new sink in my master bath. Yesterday I call that I need new toilet in our guest bath. The repair guy call back and ask me if 5-5:30pm same day will work for me? Then he call like 4:50 that he's on his way. After about 2 hrs my old toilet was gone and new one instead in its place. I will definitely recommend this place.

I am so glad and relieved that I called Eco Plumbers and had Travis give us a second opinion.  He's extremely knowledgeable and comprehensive in his examination.  Another drain company had told us we needed more than $5,000 of repairs needed.  Travis showed us the part of the drain that needed repair because of rampant roots and it's obvious the other guy was trying to scam us.  He took the time to go over everything, even though he knew that we weren't going to be re-snaking or repairing our drain.  I will never go to any drain company other than Eco Plumbers again.  Travis was fantastic.

My wife and I have used the services of the Eco Plumbers three times now. The first issue was in hindsight, very minor, and the Eco Plumbers gave us some advice and didn't charge us. It left a very good impression on us.

We had a water heater go out while my wife was at home and I was away, and the Eco Plumbers came out immediately during the day and replaced it.

This last time, we had a faucet replaced and the plumbing underneath the sink redone. The previous homeowners had apparently done some work on their own and it was only a matter of time before it gave it. And... of course it did.

Overall, I'm happy with the Eco Plumbers. I think they're best attribute is that they are a very professional company. You'll call and be able to speak to a person directly. (We've used other groups for different services and sometimes half the challenge is just getting a response.) One of our three visits had to be rescheduled, but they were right on time for the rescheduled visit. Eco Plumbers will call and/or text when they are driving to your place and send pictures of the plumbers that will be working with you. Payment is easy.

As others have mentioned, the price can be on the higher side. I believe this is for the service. If you're looking for the cheapest option possible, this probably isn't it. If you value the customer service aspect, then it's worth the money. Work, so far as I can tell, has been high-quality and well done.

For larger plumbing issues, we'll likely use Eco Plumbers again the future.

There is a reason Eco Plumbers has so many good reviews! I called and set an appointment for a non-emergency item. I received a call to confirm my appointment, notifications for when my technician was on his way, updates along the way and even a confirmation text message with the tech's photo. Excellent communication.

For my appointment I was greeted by Luke, who was professional and courteous. Luke reviewed my concerns, listened and provided clear options and walked me through additional areas that were important to bring to my attention for preventative maintenance. No pressure tactics here, just friendly, professional conversation and shared knowledge which I greatly appreciated.

I will definitely contact Eco Plumbers again should I need plumbing services.

I am a first time homeowner and had the pleasure of recently experiencing my first plumbing emergency: a small pipe broke in our basement, which resulted in us having to shut off the water to the house. The pipe broke on a Sunday morning, of course, and I was worried about a number of things: how soon could I get someone to come? How much would it cost? Would it really be fixed?

After doing some research on Yelp and Angie's List, I selected the top four plumbers with the highest number of positive reviews. The Eco Plumbers were at the top of both lists, but I thought I would also give some other places a chance at the same time. I sent e-mails to all four places or filled out forms on their websites, explaining it was an emergency and we needed someone as soon as possible. The Eco Plumbers responded to my web form submission within an hour by phone and scheduled someone to come out the next day (Monday). They said someone could come late morning or early afternoon.

(I will mention here that I initially tried calling the Eco Plumbers, got an answering service twice, and did not successfully receive a call back that way. So, I would suggest starting with their web form--not sure what the issue was there.)

The next morning, I got a call from Eco Plumbers at about 8 am: they were able to send someone earlier--would that be okay? We were thrilled someone could come sooner. I left for work and my husband stayed to wait for the plumber. Nick arrived right when he said he would, surveyed the problem, and had it fixed in an hour. He also looked at some other concerns my husband had, gave some advice for some potential future services (but useful advice--not upselling nonsense), and even helped tighten a bolt on our bathroom sink that my husband hadn't had the tools to fix. We found the price reasonable, especially given the prompt response and professionalism displayed.

It is now Tuesday. One of the three other places I submitted a emergency request to e-mailed me back yesterday to say that they had nothing open until Friday and I should call them. The other two places never responded at all. In short, we would have been in quite a bind without The Eco Plumbers. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

I had water coming up through my floor drain in the basement and I asked my plumber friend about it. He said I probably have a main drain backed up but he didn't have the equipment to fix it so I'd have to call someone. He said it was likely roots growing in my pipes.
Eco Plumbers advertises $93 or its free* (please note the asterisk). As others have pointed out, this is a bait-and-switch. It's only $93 for the main drain. But that's what I needed so all good. The first team of techs show up and tell me it's NOT the main drain, but the floor drain and that'll be $319. Now, I could call around and get some prices or have these guys do it now. I stupidly opted to have them do it. They worked on it for about an hour and a half and then decided it was the main drain and there were tree roots in it. Thought I told them that from the beginning but whatever. Clear it out. Well, now I have some options.
I can either have these two guys, who are conveniently here RIGHT NOW Hydro-jet it out for the low low price of $1150 (national average for such a service is $300-600) or they could call the DRAIN GUY and he can do it for $93. Umm...I thought these guys ARE the drain guys. This could have been a much better review if they had sent the right guy the first time.
I should have called someone else at this point but I told them to get the drain guy out. He showed up a few hours later and was able to clear it for the advertised $93 but he left the basement a mess that I had to then clean up.
The next day, they sent out a camera guy (for free) and he showed us everything going on with our drain. He was actually really nice and seemed knowledgeable, but then he dropped the hammer: he told us we are a candidate for some sort of liner for the even lower cost of $14,000. OR we could have it hydro-jet cleaned for $1150. GTFO. If I do get it hydro-jetted, it won't be from these guys. I'll find someone who can do it cheaper.

I've used EcoPlumbers in the past, and have been quite pleased.  But I guess I've been ramped up to a customer who is now expected to pay more?  I had called Eco a few months ago for a clogged kitchen sink and they fixed it, no problem.  I had them come out again last week and now, it's unfixable?  Instead I got a 1200 estimate to replace the pipes.  Alex didn't even attempt to help me and I had a double sink full of gross, icky, mucky water.  He may have been trying to upsell me, but what he ended up doing is pricing himself out of competition.  I called Five Star out of Hilliard..they came the next day and took care of it, no problem.  15 min, in and out.
I'm sorry Eco, your customer service is great, but I don't appreciate the unnecessary upsell.  You've lost a customer in me.  :(

Responded to there advertisements for drain unclogged for$93 to unclog and run a camera. Waited all day, and of course when they got to my house the wanted over $300. Said the special was to #poke a whole in the drain, not unclog it. Very misleading and false advertising.  I sent them on there merry little way and they left with my drain still clogged. They do not stand behind what they advertise.  Be aware. I would not recommend based on the fact they advertise to get in the door so they can charge you more.

I have to echo other reviews with the extremely high prices charge let you go plumbers. They bill in all of their 500+ trucks into every order that they do. My driver spent 37 minutes driving and about the same amount of time actually organizing getting his stuff ready and then cleaning the drain for $235 that's $235 an hour they say the use of 50 to 40 to 10 breakdown with 50 to tech 40 materials etc and ten profit.  With my job it was 38 for driver I will give the 20 for the machine wear and tear and then 20 for lease on truck for the hour. That is 78 so that leaves 157 for profit?  It seams their algorithm is off. Then the manager just wanted to argue that they are a flat rate but they won't quote prices on the phone. Terrible pass

I needed to have my gas line inspected in order to have a gas insert installed for my fireplace. I called several different plumbers in the area, and over a week's time,  I had three no-shows, and one company promising to get back with me but never did. Exasperated, I finally called Eco Plumbers, and I'm glad I did. Their customer service is outstanding. They called me on the day of the appointment to let me know when the tech was going to arrive. They even sent a text with a picture of the tech. Shawn (the plumber) arrived on time, was very friendly, and he charged me a reasonable fee for my gas line inspection, even though it was after hours. As far as I'm concerned, Eco Plumbers beats all of the other plumbing companies in the area hands down. I'll be returning to them for all of my plumbing needs in the future.

First of all they did not give me a time slot rather gave me full day open appointment and could not make it on the day. I was at home waiting for them but received a call instead they could not make it for some other emergency schedule. They rescheduled my appointment to next day and suggested to call 30 min before appointment. I missed their call because I was away from my phone for a couple of minutes and they skipped my number in line. I called back within 20 min but they said plumber already left to attend another customer. Finally, the plumber visited me in the afternoon and suggested me $650 for fixing my water system which is a 1.5 hours job worth $150. Don't think about them instead go to another plumber. These guys are rip off. I finally go this done from Accurate Plumbing and they did it for under $200.

Today's issue was a leaky shower. The people on the phone are almost too sweet but they are on the ball.  Holden was sent out the day after I called (it wasn't an emergency or I'm sure they would have been here immediately), assessed the issues and thought he had the part in his truck.  He didn't and we have another shower to use so I scheduled him to come back the next morning, which he did, right on time.  Done!

Holden was very professional, knowledgeable and polite.

I just want to write and let everyone know this was my first experience with Eco Plumbers, and I was so pleased with the phenomenal customer service.
Nick helped us explore our options and I felt I already new him from the reviews I had read earlier, and he lived up to the exceptional customer service that the reviews gave.Nick was prompt, professional and gave on-time service! After making the decision to purchase the waterless tank, along came Adam and Hayder in a timely manner to install our new tank. They too were very professional and they took the time to go over everything they did. They cleaned up as they left. I can't say enough great things about all 3 of them!!! I would highly recommend this company for any issues you might have with your plumbing. Thank you Nick , Adam and Hayder for making this a exceptional experience.

Eco plumbing had great customer service and the plumber they sent was very friendly and knowledgeable, but the 2 star review is because their plumbing vans are not equipped with the equipment they need to do the job. The plumber who came out did not have a curb key to shut off the water to our building, so another van had to come to bring him one. Their vans are tiny, and possibly eco friendly, but they don't have enough equipment to be fully prepared for any job. The person who brought the curb key brought a small tool, maybe 2 feet long. The eco plumber was not able to shut off the water to my building using his curb key, so he told me I would have to shut off the water to the entire street. He looked at the shut off for the whole street and told me they definitely don't have the equipment for that either.

Ultimately i had to call another plumbing company, and when the second company I called came out, they were able to shut off the water to my building at the curb easily using the 6 ft long curb key he had on his big and fully equipped plumbing truck.

Based on the positive reviews, I called Eco Plumbers to fix our broken hot water heater. I will start off with the positives: Great customer service-quick to respond and sent someone out the same day within hours of the call. Adam was courteous and punctual. Unfortunately, he did not have the experience necessary to fix our issue.
Negatives:
1. Overpriced. Standard water heater installation at Loews is $430. Adam quoted me $800. I spoke with the manager Thomas who stated that the upcharge was excellent customer service and he tried to scare me by saying that less expensive plumbers don't know what they are doing and would ruin everything. An independent experienced plumber did the installation for under $300.
2. Inexperienced. He didn't know how to fix this relatively new (2011) water heater and said that it's cheaper to replace it. He  spend 10min staring at the tank and did not figure out what type of water heater system we have. Designated in large print on the tank, we have a through the wall power-vented gas water heater, which is quite expensive when compared to to a standard type, and could not be replaced by a standard water heater due to how the venting system works. We did our own research and found this information out, and it was confirmed by an independent plumber. Also, the independent plumber stated that he would have been able to diagnose the problem and it would have been much cheaper to repair rather than replace. However, we had already purchased a new water heater at this point on poor advise from Eco plumbing, and thus spent three times as much on the fix.

We called Eco Plumbers this morning at 7:30 am as soon as we realized that we had no hot water!  Adam was over by 10am! Before he arrived, I was sent his info and picture to let me know who and exactly when he was coming. This was highly surprising and welcoming.
He was a true gentleman and very knowledgeable with understanding and honesty. I let him know what I needed replaced and he accommodated me with choices and price ranges on his handy I-pad.
Very prompt service with no pressure. I was totally relieved with the same day replacement of the water heater and new sump pump that I wanted along with a new outside faucet that I had been wanting. While I was at it, I ordered the main drain to be cleaned.  All things I was planning on doing.
Thank you Adam for being so helpful and patient and above all, excellent service.
Thank you Charles and Handley for installing our new hot water heater so efficiently and quickly!  What a great team.

Chris and Dan came out to check my water heater. They even waited 15 minutes because I didn't get off from work until 5. They checked it out, gave me a price and fixed it. They emailed me my invoice while I was there. Showed me what the issue was and gave me a discount since I had them do the job then and there. They were fast and friendly.
Wish after hours didn't start after 4pm or didn't have a time window in the morning. Otherwise they were efficient and effective.
Thanks guys!

It is disappointing that this company leverages those who have a normal work schedule. When asked if they have early appointments, she replied that they have 8am-10am with a half-hour phone ahead. When I stated that wouldn't work for me and did they have any appointments around 5pm, I was advised there is a $75 service fee for calls after 3pm because they consider that after hours.  When did 8am-3pm become a normal business schedule and when did 3pm become after hours?! Just another way to get more money from people who need a service.

First I want to start out with the extremely positive things about Eco Plumbers:
1. They are prompt, they came out the same day as my call.

2. They use technology well, including taking photos and for quotes.

3. They communicate well with customers - their office called to let me know the plumber was running a few minutes behind, and then emailed me with a photo and name of the plumber.

4. The tech who came to my house was knowledable and extremely nice.  The work he did was professional and looks good.  No qualms here.

Now I will get to the bad part(s) which unfortunately outweigh the good things I need in my plumber:

1. The entire trip could have been 30 minutes in time.  However, the techs must be trained to upsell many other services.  I wanted a simple drain pipe installed from my washer into my existing floor drain, but I had about 6 quotes for other things including the Halo system they advertise heavily for.  I'm all about getting quotes, that's fine, but if it makes the 30 minute trip a 3 hour trip, it's not worth it.

2. The attempt to upsell the Halo system involves a demo, which is very interesting, but I knew I would never buy a $3,000 halo system so I really didn't need to waste the time to see it.

3. The price, WOW.  I needed this work done today because I promised my wife it would be done =).  The price was over $300 for a drain, a total of maybe 7 feet of PVC pipe glued together and 2 90degree fittings.  Had I done this myself (if I had the time) it would have been maybe $15-20 of material tops.  I had another plumber quote it after and he would have done it for $75.

The price gouging alone means I will never go back to Eco Plumbers, even if it means I have to deal with less curious plumbers in the future.  If you have an unlimited budget, go for it though.

We had a huge plumbing issue in our shop.   Both toilets were backed up and out of order.   I called a few places but didn't care to move forward with them.   One because they were not prompt to respond.   The call center took almost an hour to call me back. Two overly priced for just the service call.  That's $100- $125 to just come to the location.  That's just outrageous to me.    Ecoplumber responded within minutes!  I called the call center set up an appointment and a technician was at my door within 30 minutes.
First, I'd like to talk about the call center.   Great system,  i didn't have to go through a bunch of automated prompts to get help.   That gets so annoying to me.   The operator was so nice and pleasant.   She gave me options to help me save money and had tons of suggestions.   She was very thorough, told me what each chargers were and why so i would not be confused or surprised in the end.   She searched for an available technician and called me back within minutes to tell me who was available and when to expect them.    Great customer service.

Now the plumber that came out to help us.    His name was Travis.  He was at our door no longer than 30 minutes.   Very friendly guy.    He came in took a look around and told us exactly what was wrong.   Even taught me a thing or two about plumbing.    Very knowledgeable about what he does.    Didn't take him long at all to fix of problem.   This guy is hilarious!  I've never laugh so much watching a plumber fix plumbing issue.    Great sense of humor.    It's nice to find people who really enjoy what they do.    You can see the quality in their work. He wasn't just there to hurry up to get things  done and leave.   This guy took his time fixing the problem while chit chatting with us the entire time.   He never tried to upsell anything.   He basically told us what was wrong and tried to find the most cost effective way to fix it.   So nice. It was obvious he enjoys his job.   I mean who would really be happy being on call at 11pm on a Friday night.   Travis sure was.   He was so nice and fun to talk to.   He made jokes about everything.  It was almost like we've known him forever.   Even after he was done with his job, he took his time to show us what we should be doing to prevent this from happening again,  and showed us what products we should buy in the future to help everything work now efficiently.   Great job great service.  If we ever have plumbing issues again we will definitely look for Travis from ecoplumber.

We had a situation we needed taken care of right away and given all of the great reviews at the time, decided to go with EcoPlumbers.  You were supposed to get an email estimate (because they're eco so no paper) but we never got that ahead of time. If we had gotten the estimate, we would've likely cancelled. Our window was 2-5pm and given how many people noted they arrived early, I expected them to be in the early part of the window.  We got a call at 4:45pm that they were running late and we could reschedule.  No, we waited all day with this problem and now if we call someone else, we're going to have to pay weekend rates and it wasn't something that could wait on.

The main tech quickly got a little condescending when he saw the job wasn't going to be a quick one and made some comments about our plumbing that didn't help matters.  We were then told the price just for them to be there and inspect...close to $400!  At this point, we had to pay it but that was before having to run to the hardware store for a part.  We priced the part online and it was $20.  When they got back, we were told it would be another $200!  I understand labor but it was cutting a pipe and attaching another one in an open area, so I'm not sure why the major jump in price.  Speaking of cutting a pipe, the condescending one was calling his girlfriend to tell him he'd be late and the other guy opened a pipe and we all heard HISSSSSSSSSS!  Phone guy (which could've produced a spark) yells didn't you turn off the gas!?  No, I thought you did!)  This is when the hubby and I left the room and stood outside because we no longer trusted being in the same space.  I understand mistakes can happen but if they'd been as careful with our gas leak problem as they were griping about having to work at 5pm on a Friday, I wouldn't have felt immediate regret.

As I began venting to others about the cost, they all said that price was high for what we were having done.  This was our first time dealing with an issue like this, we had no idea what a repair for this would cost so I can't say if we overpaid or not...I just know it sure felt like we did.

They fixed the problem and we haven't had issues with it since, which we are obviously happy about.  In the end all that matters is it was done right albeit overpriced.  I wouldn't necessarily steer people away from them since most reviewers seem to have had a good experience with them, I wish we had been one of them.

Sorry, my review stands...though I received credit for the part I supplied, and a $25 discount - the fact remains that even with that it was over priced.  After I wrote the first review I discovered the cartridge for the shower faucet was installed upside down, which is dangerous and I will have to fix myself.  They offered to correct the issue but no way they will return to our home - since I also discovered they broke a screw to the back plate and did not tell me and replaced it with a different type screw.  Actually I should not have paid anything since they broke the handle which I had to also replace.  Nope, this crew is all smoke and mirrors - they look great on the website but beware!

We needed to have a water shut off valve moved from one condo unit to another, and have an external water faucet put in. The Eco Plumber staff was on time, courteous, knowledgeable and walked me thru what needed done, before they did the work. They also gave me an estimate for labor and materials before starting.

They moved the water line and had the new faucet installed and properly functional in under 90 minutes. I was happy with the work and would recommend them to family and friends!

Hired Eco Plumbers to extend an existing, but unused shower drain.   Later, when I was testing drain, 100% blockage!   As I had remodeled down to studs and rebuilt, I thought some debris had gotten into drain, even though I tried to keep plugged.  I spend a few hours over a weekend trying to remove to no avail, including borrowing a camera to see into drain.  I finally removed a pipe section that appeared where blockage was occurring.  Eco plumbers had left in the drain plug!   I called Eco to have them come out.  Plumber who did the work & obviously never tested the drain, called and rudely stated it was not their problem!   So I called Eco and through a not polite conversation, a plumber was sent out and repaired the line.  Shoddy work & at least one rude/nasty plumber.  Stay away!

Had Travis from Eco Plumbing over to do an estimation. He's as solid as they get. He was very clear on what work needs to be done and why and was able to answer all of my questions.

He's also just a good guy. He was clear on all of the pricing there was zero pressure. He completely understood the need for me to review and discuss with my wife before making a decision.

To top it off, Eco Plumbers have very good customer service. They are easy to get a hold of and they are very communicative regarding appointment times and the status of when their folks will be onsite.

Big fan of these guys.

Eco Plumbers installed a tankless hot water system and a Halo 5 whole house filtrations system. Brandon and peter did an outstanding job of installing both systems. They fully explained what they would be doing and after the installation was complete they went over everything with me regarding how to use our new systems. They were both very professional and did an amazing job of with the copper plumbing for both systems.

We are extremely happy with both systems and how the Halo 5 systems improves the taste of drinking water as well as hos it feels on your skin and hair while bathing.

I would certainly recommend Eco Plumbers to anyone wanting quality plumbing work done.

We had a kitchen drain issue that required line snaking. I used Angie's List to find someone who could do same day (non-emergency) service and EcoPlumbers were the first to follow up. My drains were cleared by lunchtime. Their follow up was excellent. The technician Eric, quickly diagnosed the problem and cleared years of build-up from the old line. He was very helpful making suggestions on how to do maintenance to prevent build-up in the line, but didn't push us to buy anything from him even though they carried an enzymatic cleaning agent. I thought the cost was appropriate for the service and he even fixed my loose disposal cover and didn't leave until he was sure the  sink, disposal and dishwasher were all draining appropriately.

The Eco-Plumbers helped us a ton!! Our sewer line backed up, and we called our neighborhood plumber (not Eco-Plumber) to snake the drain. After trying to snake the drain for hours, their diagnosis was to get our entire sewer line replaced (a $10k job).

We called Eco-Plumbers to get a second opinion, and they were able to un-snake the drain. Apparently our home has a yard trap which is a pretty rare thing, and that led the other plumber to misdiagnose our situation. I'm glad we went with them--they saved us over $9k!! They also told us up front how much money we would have to pay, and they cleaned up all the sludge afterwards.

I wish we would have called them first!

The good: prompt, courteous, and good communication before and during the appointment

The bad: 1) immediately and consistently trying to up-sell me for products I don't need or want, making me feel like I'm being ripped off in the process, 2) lying to me about part availability and what is currently stocked in their truck, and 3) super highly priced

This company started out as a very promisingly great company, their reception area was great but JUSTIN, who is suppose to be the manager for their customer relationship absolutely blew it!  I scheduled my visit because I was having a problem and was expecting them today...yesterday, flooding occurred and and I called them to let them know that I now have even more things during my scheduled appointment!  It is now an emergency....and today was my scheduled appointment and nothing, in the afternoon, I got a phone call from Justin who told me they might not get here till after 6;00 pm and since it is after hours, it will cost me $75 for their visit!  I called their dispatcher and asked them to put me on their schedule again when it should bot cost me $75.  The excuse I was given was that there were emergency flooding in peoples home...I was one of them and since I had an appointment, that should have been great for me, not penalized!  Called Justin and asked him when he could get to me and he told, not for another 5 days because people had emergencies.  Again, I am one of them!  Justin then proceeds to lie to me and say that they did try to get to me earlier but I did not respond...that is a lie!  He was adamant that I am the one that screwed the timing up!  This company is a sham!  Buyer beware!

Professional, knowledgeable plumbers. Did the job well (pulled and re-set a leaky wax ring under a toilet) They were efficient, clean on the job and friendly. With great service comes higher expense. I've had this type of work done before and know the same job could have been done much expensively. But I was in a jam and they solved the problem quickly. This company communicates well via phone, email and text, so they create a lot of peace of mind by doing that. That also means greater overhead which then is passed along to the consumer. Other than the cost, it was a great experience.

Nathan was out to our house after calling a few days before. I told them it wasn't an emergency and even at that it was fixed in less than 48 hours.  My son's bedroom toilet wax ring needed replaced.  Nathan walked me through several scenarios that may be causing the leak and gave me his opinion of the most likely cause. He was very thorough. He was quick and neat once he began the work and I felt very comfortable with his expertise.

I'd highly recommend approaching any plumbing situations with EcoPlumber. I have utilized several plumbing groups in the area and have never had a better experience. The prices are insane.  They won't give quotes over the phone.  I guess the thought is you'll just pay their ridiculous prices once they're in your home.  I was quoted almost $800 before my Angies List coupon for a job the technician told me would take about 90 minutes.  I had all the parts.  This was just labor. During the follow up call to see why I didn't use them the receptionist got snippy when I said they were priced too high.  I'm not sure if they rip off everyone or just single women.  It seems suspicious they won't give any estimates over the phone or an hourly rate.  Do they have different rates for different people?

I called for service on Thursday as my toilet was leaking water on my bathroom floor. They were able to come that afternoon.   I thought the water was coming from the pipe under the tank.  The plumber told me that it was not and it needed new insides in the tank as the tank was overflowing .  I am not a plumber, so I let him take care of the issue.  So, he replaced the working parts inside the tank at a cost of $183.  I am came home on Saturday and there was water on the floor again.  The water is coming from a pipe under the tank.  I wonder what it will cost now when I ask them to come back as it is suppose to be under warranty..

Be prepared to get ripped off. I called Eco Plumbers because I had A gas leak and Columbia gas would not turn my gas on. Eco Plumbers would not give me any pricing info over the phone. This should have been a red flag but for some reason I made the appointment. They do appointments by time windows. Mine was afternoon. They called at the tail end of my window. I met the tech. He was professional and polite. But then he gave me the price. It was very close to $1000. I have had work like this done before, and a normal price for a leak on an inside gas line would be $300 or $400. Under most circumstances I would have kicked the guy out. Unfortunately I was in a time crunch and was desperate. It was the end of the day. It was cold. Against my better judgement I let them do the work. The tech worked one hour and fifteen minutes and handed me a bill for $1000. Eco Plumbers completely took advantage of my desperate situation and charged more than twice what anybody else would charge.  Even worse, when Columbia Gas retuned they would not turn on the gas because the leak was not fixed. Save your money and call a mom and pop style plumber. Also don't be fooled by Eco Plumbers high rating here. For some reason Yelp is not displaying many of the negative reviews. If you scroll way to the bottom of the page and click the link for not recommended reviews you can read them. Seriously. Avoid Eco Plumbers at all cost. They will take advantage of your situation and rip you off.

Josh arrived less than 30 minutes after I called - which was great since I was preparing for a dinner party that night.  I was putting something away under the sink and realized that there was water running all over the cabinet - the disposal had sprung a major leak!  He did a quick inspection and detected the problem.  He installed a new disposal in just a few minutes - he said he had installed several disposals just this week so he was getting to be an expert at the installation process.  30 minutes after he arrived I was back on schedule!  Absolutely will continue to use EcoPlumbers - I have had them do work for me before and I will continue to use them!

Called Eco Plumbers at about 5pm to get a quote for replacing our water heater. Nick their technician arrived by 6pm that same night. He offered a cheaper fix instead of a replacement - something other plumbers had not offered. In the end after discussing the condition of the water heater we opted to replace it. Nick was ready with options and a quote. We were scheduled for replacement within the same week. This is the first plumbing company we have worked with that had such great response times. Nick was very knowledgeable and friendly. We would highly recommend the Eco Plumbers especially if you have an emergency issue.

Travis was very professional, provided several options to fix our problem, and helped me choose a new hot water heater that fit within our budget and needs. After choosing our repair, he and his associate started work immediately and answered all of my questions regarding the new heater's maintenance and use. They were professional, friendly, and worked efficiently. Total time for the repair, even waiting for a few miscellaneous parts to arrive, was less than 2 and 1/2 hours, including diagnosis, consultation, and repair.

Words cannot adequately describe how impressed I was with The Eco Plumbers! I called them because I was having some drainage issues in my shower, and they had solid Yelp reviews. How do I love them? Let me count the ways...

1) They had a web form that I could complete so that the right type of person called me to schedule my appointment (which I also appreciated because then I could make my initial outreach while I was in a meeting at work, instead of having to step out to call around).

2) They called me within an hour of submitting my web form.

3) They had a plumber out the next morning.

4) Although they gave me a time window of 10am - 1pm, my plumber called me at 9:30am to tell me he was on the way.

5) The plumber (Chris) was clean (wore cloth booties over his shoes so as not to drag dirt into my home), polite, thorough (explained every little detail to me) and quick (in and out in 30 minutes).

6) Not only are they eco-friendly by using recycled-materials equipment, but they are a paper-free company! Chris created my work order, estimate and transaction all on an iPad and I was emailed a copy of everything. LOVE!

I would recommend them to ANYONE in (unfortunate) need of plumbing service. A+!

Just an update.... a general contractor (1 guy) is doing the job, as I'm typing, for $260 (3 hours of labor). This includes cutting some of the counter top so the new sink fits right (according to the Eco Plumbers technician, this was going to be an extra charge on top of the $970). 3 hours of labor at $970, Eco Plumbers wanted to charge me $323 per hour for labor only. Now, the technician told me he was good, but I'd prefer to hire Kevin Hart to perform at my kids' birthday party for that cost.

We used Eco Plumbers because our usual plumbers were tied up for 10 days.  We had purchased 2 new faucets, one for our kitchen and one for our master bathroom, and needed them installed.  The person they sent was early and very nice and did a good job.  He spent a little under 2 hours doing the work and the charge was $766 and we didn't even purchase the faucets from them!  They don't give an estimate until the serviceman comes to your home to do the job, which makes it rather difficult and awkward to refuse the work.  We had Old Hilliard Plumbing install 3 new toilets, which took 4 1/2 hours, and only charged $430.!  Will not be using Eco Plumbers again, only because of the cost.

The technician Robert Hickey (Bob) was one of, if not the best, serviceman I have ever had.  He was on time, explained everything very well, and went above and beyond my expectations.  I highly recommend this company and particularly Bob for any plumbing needs you have.

I have some ambivalence about my experience mainly because it was expensive, but I won't hold that against them too much.

Pros: they were able to make a same day appt and our regular plumber told us it would be two days before they could come.

they fixed the problem

they were very professional

Cons: they were actually two hours early so I had to bust a move to get home

it was more expensive than the last time we had this problem (but this is a more permanent solution)

So our sink backed up, garbage disposal couldn't handle some rice (I compost almost everything and then I use the damn disposal and end up calling the plumbers), the house's previous owners DIYed the plumbing under the sink so it's impossible to take apart, plunging didn't work, had to call a professional.  Now the last time we had a plumber over they told us our underneath sink was a hot DIY mess but didn't mention that they could fix it in 15 minutes.  The plumber from Eco Plumbers said that would probably be the easiest (albeit pricier) way to fix it and then our garbage disposal would have a trap and any future problems we could fix ourselves.

So....I realize that makes me biggest complaint that they were early, but when you've hustled to get two kids out the door, arrive where you're going, and then have to turn around because the plumber is TWO HOURS early, it's frustrating.

Bottom line: I think if we had a little problem and our regular plumber could come that day, I would prob go with regular plumber, but if we needed a big project done, I would definitely come have them do an estimate.

TERRIBLY DECEPTIVE BUSINESS PRACTICES. We had Eco Plumbers out to clean out our basement drain; the sewer line was backing up onto the basement floor. So much for that, it clogged again a month later. As it turns out, there is some sort of distinction between a CLEANING and a CLEARING that we're supposed to understand intuitively somehow, and now we've been swindled out of $93. Now I have to hire someone else to do the real work. Thanks, Eco Plumbers!

A little pricey but all worth it when they can come when you need help, fix your problem correctly and have helpful suggestions to plan for future repairs and upgrades.

We recently had a tankless water heater and halo water system put in.  Ecoplumbers did a fantastic job from start to finish.  We absolutely love the tankless system - hot water is no longer something we stress over in the mornings!  Our water had pool water levels of chlorine in it - it was undrinkable.  With the halo system it's just totally wonderful and pure!

The Eco Plumbers should always be your #1 choice for any plumbing need - commercial or residential jobs! Not only are they thorough, but they are effective and friendly. I would personally recommend them for any job that you have, even if it's an emergency. They are responsive and professional, and quite honestly, the only company that you'll ever need for any plumbing job. 5 stars!

The technician Shawn from EcoPlumbers was very nice and professional. He was prompt and courteous. The lady Kara on the phone was also very nice. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is because prices on a Saturday were high. Other plumbing companies in the area don't charge a premium for a Saturday appt. Overall I would call them again.

I cheated on Yelp and consulted Angie's list as well for some plumber recommendations. Also, liked the eco-friendly portion (recycling materials from jobs). They fixed a leaky bathroom shower faucet that my hubby couldn't crack. Also, redid some plumbing work so that it was up to code.

The person who completed the estimate and the person who completed the work were both on time, professional and fast. Everything is done digitally--yay-i hate paper! I got an estimate on the spot, showed it to me on an iPad and then emailed me a copy. Once I approved, I was able to schedule someone the same week.

I believe the price was competitive, but I didn't check. But for superior service, I'm willing to pay more.

Friendly representative, came out, explained a lot of the components of their estimate, they seem like a very reputable company, but I ended up going with another company based upon price. These guys still seem wonderful, other than the price. If price isn't an issue for you, I would heartily recommend them anyday!

I never had a chance to have a good experience. We had a 2 pm appt. They do not show up or call me 30 minutes before as they communicated they would. I called them twice, only got their answering service. Finally received a call two hours later, by then it was too late. I took off of work to make this appointment. Unacceptable.

Two weeks later, the hot water is amazing. Service was great and I can't recommend it enough.

I went through Home advisor. Within minutes I was contacted to arrange an appointment. Not only did Ecoplumbers dispatcher call with a reminder the day before,  I received an email reminder. Although the window of contact seems overly long (4 hours), on the day of the initial appointment and installation, I got multiple updates regarding arrival times so I wasn't housebound waiting.
Work was done efficiently. Everything left neat and tidy!

Very impressed with the quick response as they came on a Monday to give me a quote on our leaky hot water tank and by 4 pm, they were replacing it. Our basement is finished and we just had new carpet put down so we were very concerned that we would have water everywhere if our hot water tank blew. Luckily, I went to yelp and within two hours, had two estimates with possible work completed that day. When you have a hot water tank that is leaking, you cannot have a company tell you, we can do your work later this week. This company responded with record time and also had competent people taking care of the work. I would definitely recommend this company!

I awoke on Mother's Day to find my hot water heater leaking profusely.  I really didn't know what to do, but I knew this day was coming.  A quick Google search returned Eco Plumbers at the top of the list.  Naturally, I checked their Yelp reviews, and liked what I read.

I gave them a call, and was told about an extra service fee for weekends.  It wasn't something that needed to be done right then, and didn't want to interrupt a family holiday for someone, so I chose a Monday morning time slot.  I was told I would get a call 30 minutes before they showed up, and 30 minutes it was.

Ammar gave me a call and said he was here.  He walked in the door, immediately put on booties and headed to the basement.  He gave me a couple of options: replace the existing with the same thing, or a tankless water heater.  I would have opted for a tankless, but I live in a condo, and I don't plan on being here much longer.  So I didn't see the need to spend the extra money.

Ammar gave a quick call to someone at his home base, gave the information on parts, connections... you name it.  He said someone would bring everything, and meanwhile he would disconnect the existing water heater, install the new one, and be done in 2-3 hours.

About 20 minutes later... literally... another gentleman showed up with the new water heater.  They got to work quickly, and it wasn't long before the new one was installed.  They were very clean with the removal of the old tank.

Ammar said he had to make a quick trip to Home Depot to get a connector.  He said, I want to do it right, so he made a quick trip for the part, returned and finished the job.  All in all it was just shy of 3 1/2 hours.  Still pretty good if you ask me.

They take pictures before and after for their own documentation.  They are paperless, which is great!  My invoice was emailed to me about 15 minutes after Ammar left.

I hope they treat their employees well.  I bought Ammar lunch... he deserved it.

I would highly recommend their services, and their customer service is as good as it gets.  They really do the job right.

Completed job in timely manner.  However, pricing and charges were very high.  Claimed a basic part was needed and charged a $45 shipping fee because they didn't have the part.  Company also charged labor for more than double of the time at my house.  Hourly labor charge was $160 per hour for me.  The manager states they charge labor fees for all of their driving time and getting parts.  So I suggest asking where the appointment before you is located.  Technician claimed my sump pump was broken and wanted to charge over $400 more to replace it.  However, upon my inspection and telling him it was already replaced it magically started working.  The manager claims they check every sump pump on their calls as a curtesy.  Also had additional plumber check my sump pump after service and it is working properly.

Very good service.  Our technician came out and was very friendly.  He gave us several options on how to proceed and let us choose.  He had a well-stocked van and was able to accommodate all of our needs without having to go get more supplies.

We had him:
1) Fix our bathroom sink stopper, and unclog the drain.
     - The tech also noticed we had super-high water pressure in the sink, and installed emergency shutoff valves on our lines, and was able to correct the water-pressure.  He did this for free, and we only had to pay for the materials he used. :)
2) Fix our bathtub slow-drain issue.
3) Installed a new toilet for us.

The technician recommended we replace our toilet because the amount of money we would have spent on parts and labor to fix the old toilet would not have been much cheaper than replacing with a newer, more efficient unit. (Our old toilet from the late 80's used 3+ gallons to flush, and our new toilet only uses 1.2 gallons and is more powerful as well).  We spent a little more, but in the long run, I believe it was the right decision.

The tech also was very helpful with other areas of our plumbing.  He noticed we have a Navien Tankless Hot Water Heater.  Once he realized I had not flushed the system in a few years, he showed me the products he used to do it, explained to me the basic concept, and showed me where to get the products so I can do it myself.  This will save me several hundreds of dollars over the next few years, as I now know how to do it myself.

Overall, we're happy with the service.  The only potential-gripe we'd have is the total amount of our bill was a bit higher than we were initially expecting to pay.  Their pricing I believe is competitive, but a little higher than most.  Although, their service was excellent, so we're not griping too much. :)  Overall we're a satisfied customer, and will keep EcoPlumbers in mind for our next issue.

Their technicians are good but their service processes and lousy.   Don't get trapped (as I did) by agreeing to a 30 minute call ahead the day of the service.  When they finally called at 4pm to tell me a tech would be there in 30-40 minutes it was too late for me to wait for them and also make my 5:30 meeting.   Considering I had been waiting since 8am for the call.   Oh, yes they did call about 11 and tell me that it would be sometime after 1 when they would be here.   Even the cable companies have figured out how to provide on time customer service.   Eco Plumbers needs to get this figured out.   In the meantime, I will use someone I can rely on.

We had a clogged drain in February. Our regular favorite plumber was overbooked because it was the weekend, so we called around. This place has really great yelp reviews so I checked into it. They could not quote me any pricing at all over the phone (seemed odd for  snaked drain issue, there should at least be a range). Played some phone tag and the admin actually sent someone to the house before we had chosen who to use. He called ahead (very polite) so we figured, well he's half way here. Adam came in, looked at our sink for maybe 30 seconds and said a huge price. My husband and I were both like um no, but thanks for stopping by. He said ok, but i do have to charge you for the consult... ??? We seriously said you have been here less than 2 minutes, you walked to our sink, peeked in and said a number? I wish I remembered the amount he quoted, but I remember it was at least $200 higher than what our regular plumber charges. Eco friendly or not thats too high. I said as politely as I could that they were way overpriced and that I was not paying him for the 2 minutes it took him to walk from the front door to the sink. I felt bad that I had definitely put him in a bad position but the admin girl had never once mentioned a fee to have him drive over, so I did not feel we owed it. He left for a minute and when he came back he said his manger had discounted the rate down to about $100 more than our local plumber, so we accepted.

Adam did a fantastic job, 5 stars. And the clog has not returned at all for these months since.

My 3 stars is based on the incredibly high pricing, and the tricky way I was almost charged for an estimate that was NOT in any way an estimate.

I will start with the positive, they were able to make an appt pretty quickly for a water heater emergency for a tenant unit when I was out of town.

Now, my water heater is 8 yrs old. the service tech called me after arriving with estimates and options. He stated the pilot light wouldn't stay lit and quickly gave me replacement options ($1-2000) for a water heater. I asked him if he checked the thermocouple and he said no. I said, if the pilot light won't stay lit, that leads one to believe there may be problem with the thermocouple. After some debating he agreed to check/clean the thermocouple but then proceeded to tell me if the thermocouple needed replaced that they can't order whirlpool parts to replace it. If that's the case, then the company should disclose that to customers upfront.

Luckily, he called later and said it was a vapor switch issue. Which leads me to tell me he didn't fully assess the problem with the unit before calling me with replacement options. Disappointed with the service. Won't be calling again.

They were very nice and came quickly for a non-emergency repair of a toilet valve and flapper assembly for a typical toilet plus new water fill valve to the toilet.  I've given them three stars because it cost $365 which seems really expensive for 30 minutes work.

BELOW IS MY REVIEW FROM YESTERDAY.  IN ALL CAPS IS MY REVIEW NOW, AT 6AM TODAY - - I HAVE NO HOT WATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  THINK I MAY HAVE OVERRATED THEM.  WE WILL SEE HOW THEY RESPOND

First, they were to come to my home on Friday between 4 or 5 and 7 so we made no plans.  At 6:30 we got a call that they wouldn't be coming.  Frankly, we didn't care why. The rep who was sent to my home then on Saturday, promised me that someone would be at my home between 9 and 10  - - but as he was leaving he moved it to 11.  He also, specifically, made a point of telling me that they call 30 minutes in advance of arrival and which plumber was coming to do the work because he personally wanted the job done right and this person was excellent.  That was Saturday.  On Tuesday, I took off work and by 11:30 was calling THEM to ask when the plumber was arriving.  After checking, I was told that it would be between 15 and 30 minutes depending on traffic and the reason for the delay was that they had to go back to the shop to pick something up.  I let them know that it was surprising that they'd be there in 15 - 30 minutes when no one had called me to tell me that AND that since I committed to this job on Saturday, it was surprising that they weren't ready to complete it, with all the necessary supplies on Tuesday.  I then asked who I could expect at my home and, as you may have guessed, it WASN'T the great plumber I was promised.

At 12:30 the individual showed up and at the end of the day the gentleman that was here was fine.  He ended up putting the exhaust in a better place than where the Sales Rep had said it would go  - -this guy vented it through a crawl space while the rep had it going by a window (makes no sense, can't open the window then) AND he had to help me move a shelving unit and everything on it because, again, the Sales Rep told us something different.  The big plus is that the work looks good, the tank seems fine.  We have hot water but the job was over $4,000 and I think to tell the customer one thing and then have something completely different happen, is not the best way to run a business.  It doesn't lead to me feeling that they are trustworthy.  Again, I think the job worked out fine but this is the best rating I can give under the circumstances.

After putting up with several indoor AND outdoor leaky faucet issues, I saw a Groupon for a outdoor water hose faucet replacement and bought the deal. I was contacted the same day to set up a time. Pearl, one of Eco's plumbers, came out to
Do the job. This involved replacing the faucet on the outside of the house with a new unit. After turning the water off from the inside, and going into the crawlspace to replace a part that led from a copper water pipe to the outside, he replaced the deteriorated crap with new parts. The crawlspace was a nightmare because moisture had crept into the foundation over a period of years, due to a backed up underground drain (somewhere between the Northeast corner of the roof to an underground drain pipe to the street). The whole basement is a study in mold production and hoarding habits. Embarrassing. Insulation literally peeled off the block foundation when Pearl tried to gently fold it down out of the way. A moldy mess. Pearl was unfazed and non-judgmental. He knew exactly what to do and did it efficiently & politely. It's part of the job to encourage upgrades in parts, which he did, but he wasn't pushy. Interestingly, it so happened that the exterior part was defective. The inner workings weren't inside the part! I discovered this a week later when trying to use the hose on the outside of the house. I decided to give everybody the benefit of the doubt. I called Eco and explained that the leak had not been stopped with the service for which I'd paid. Immediately and unquestioningly, they scheduled a return visit. Pearl replaced the defective part and everything is perfect now. The response time and professionalism of this company made me feel like there was hope for some of the other projects on the inside of the house that we'd ignored/prayed wouldn't get worse (yes, we're THAT stupid). Pearl came inside to look at a few issues. What I liked about his assessment was that obviously the best thing to do would be to create a mysterious explosion and eliminate the house altogether, but since this would be extreme, and HGTV hasn't begged us to put our house on one of their remodel programs, he understood that at least for now, I was interested in what it would take to keep the bathtub from coming through the floor onto the kitchen table below. It was clear we're not in a position to put $20,000 into the whole bathroom. Pearl totally got this, and sent an estimate that addressed a fix that would allow us to get through these lean times without continuing to live as though our lives are a continuous scene from The Sorcerer's Apprentice. I trust this guy to understand and appreciate that some folks would LOVE to take advantage of everything that Eco can do, but can't necessarily do it immediately. Pearl explained what he could do, what could and couldn't be warranted, and sent two estimates right then and there. As soon as possible I will call to have the work done. Two other plumbing people came in during the last 8 weeks and I wasn't impressed. One couldn't figure out the source of the water problem, and one wanted to replace everything in the bathroom and do a custom tile job throughout the upstairs like something out of 'Terminal,' that film where Tom Hanks' character creates a Mosaic masterpiece in an airport lavatory.
Anyhow, Eco did a great job in general and I'd recommend them.

Very friendly, very together, very thorough. They unclogged 2 drains, installed a (great) toilet, and replaced a broken garbage disposal very promptly. No mess left behind. The plumber (Chris) took time to explain and present options without any high pressure to go for the most expensive. Also took time to check out our water heater and test our water for PH level and chlorine levels.

Called on a Sunday evening, got an answering service.  Within an hour a Eco Plumber scheduler called back and asked if it was an emergency - it was not but I was able to schedule for Monday right then.  They were able to quote emergency rates over the phone.  I received a 2-hour window and a promise of a 30-minute on our way call.

Call and arrival as promised.  I had a sewer backup.  After a quick assessment, I was given a price before any work was done, offering optional camera assessment which I took.  They explained everything at a level I could understand, work was done quickly and done well.

These guys are a member of the BBB with an A+ rating.

I could not have asked for anything more - I highly recommend them for sewer work or probably any service they offer.

I don't know where to start. This company is just top notch. When my sewer backed up and my regular plumber couldn't get to me for a WEEK- I knew I had to find someone new. I searched Yelp and found great reviews for this company and I hoped that since they were nearby that I could get them over to snake my sewer line fast. No water with a family of 4 is less than fun. Travis arrived and got right to work. He explained everything there were doing and was respectful of my home and my time. He tried so hard to get my pipe cleared out. Unfortunately the roots were so bad that we had to dig up the yard the next day to get to the mass that was causing the problem.  Travis is such a great representative of this honest and dependable company. They worked until midnight because they promised me water by the end of the day. I can't recommend them enough. They are my plumbers from this point forward. If I could give them 10 stars I would.

I called over the labor day holiday weekend about a minor leak in a water pipe and was able to speak with someone even with the holiday weekend. The lady on the phone explained to me my options and the cost related to having someone come in on a holiday/weekend. Since the leak was very minimal, I decided that I would wait until Tuesday to have it done. She scheduled me right away for a three hour window. She was very helpful and polite.
On Tuesday, Ammar, the plumber, called me around 20-30 minutes prior to arriving within the three hour window, as promised. He quickly diagnosed the issue and repaired the leaking pipe along with another issue I had. He was clearly very experienced and also polite and professional. Prior to starting work, he provided me an estimate and indicated that the price may come down a certain amount depending on the amount of time needed and if there were any complications. He completed the job in no time and because there were no complications, he was able to mark down the price the amount he had indicated while giving me the estimate. Additionally, I received a follow-up phone call from the company the day after to make sure that I was satisfied. Now that's customer service!
Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend Eco Plumbers for anyone in the Columbus area.

I was working in my office late one night when chunks of my ceiling fell in...accompanied by the hiss of gently spraying water!  After setting up a couple of buckets to catch the water, I called The Eco Plumbers at 3am and spoke to a person, not a machine (good start).  I didn't want emergency service, my wife was sleeping upstairs and I'm not waking her, but it was nice to know they would have sent someone right then if I wanted.  Katie assured me the team would call me first thing in the morning.  At 7am, my phone rang and I was told my plumber would arrive between 8am and 11am and they would call to give me half an hour's notice.  I received my half-hour heads-up at 7:30 and the plumbers arrived at 8am (perfect).  Some service guys are a pretty stiff (I know it's hard to work under intense homeowner scrutiny, but loosen up fellas), however Travis and Bob were easy going and comfortable.  They located the problem and had it fixed in just a few minutes with minimal damage to my walls and ceiling...and they cleaned up when they were done.  No pressure and no nonsense and the final bill was more than fair.  In addition to saving water, the Eco Plumbers are also a  paperless company, which was just frosting on the cake for me (awesome).  A horrible wet night was countered by competent professional people, first Katie then Travis and Bob, and turned into a pleasant morning.  I even had a few bucks left in my pocket when it was done.  When you have an old house like I do, you need a great plumber and I just found mine, The Eco Plumbers!

Outstanding service as usual! I was able to schedule within a day. I needed a water line connected to a new fridge. I wasn't able to be home but the technician called me after he assessed the current line with recommendations and a quote. The work was completed within an hour and an invoice sent immediately. Eco plumbers will continue to my go to for plumbing needs.

Another great experience with Eco plumbers! They were fast, reasonable and personable. Holden S. was very efficient,he even took the time to explain how we could fix another plumbing issue! Who does that? I love this company. They are always responsive and even better - affordable! I recommend them to everybody. Use them - they do not disappoint.

I got an email with the technician's picture before he arrived so I would who to expect, which was much appreciated. Justin was very nice and knowledgeable. We just had a small issue, but he took the time to check it out very thoroughly and gave me the options and estimate. He was able to fix it immediately and I went about my day. I will always call Eco Plumbers with any  plumbing issue I have from here on out.

Saw the reviews, they don't lie.  Superb and I felt like I could actually trust them.  John was fantastic.  We want back and forth in assess the issue at my rental property - he educated me in the causes/problem areas, things to watch out for etc...not just hey this is what i think is the problem. Invoice.    I'll be using them again for sure.

Had a hot water heater replaced and couldn't be happier. I am also grateful they were able to squeeze me in the same day.The person that came out to give me a estimate was very informative and polite and the technician that replaced the water heater was very professional. He did a thorough job and explained to me what was being replaced and how. I am very happy and will be a repeat customer. They weren't the cheapest quote but definitely not the most expensive either. When dealing with ecoplumber I felt like I was paying a friend to come help me out.

I've had Bobby and the Eco Plumbers out several times to do work on my home.  This latest was a simple service call, but Bobby as usual went above and beyond.  He noticed the sump pump was running non-stop and was able to quickly replace a part to remediate the issue.  While working on my sump pump, he noticed something on my water heater, and ended up replacing an almost fully corroded anode rod.  All of this on a 4PM service call on a Friday night.  He ended up staying until almost 8PM, checking with my wife each half hour to make sure he was not disrupting our evening.  He cut us a great deal, as a repeat customer, and even did a for minor things he saw at no charge.  I can't imagine using another plumber or plumbing company.  Even my wife said she was happy we found these guys.  The entire team is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable, but Bobby is simply the best.  He even personally texted the next morning to make sure everything was still doing well.  Great commitment.

Good service is hard to find these days.  Happy we found Bobby and the Eco Plumbers.

Bobby did a great job on our home plumbing inspection. Very thorough, very detailed and explained everything to me in a way I could understand since some things we covered were more technical. He pointed out the problems that were occurring and problems that could occur if preventative measures are not taken. Price was very fair. I would highly recommend.

Tech Gary W showed up early after calling to see if we might be available because he'd had a cancellation - great news for us! We can get our new range two days ahead of schedule! He wore covers on his boots so he did not track mud into the house, cleaned up after himself, was personable and professional and got the work done quickly! A+

The technicians sent were very nice. However, the charges were double that of a local competitor. Paid $205 to have a technician clean and reignite the pilot light of my water heater.  A few hours later, the pilot light went out again. The next day a technician came and installed an assembly kit. For the second technician I was charged an additional $180 after a verbal estimate of $400 prior to dispatching the technician.   A manager reduced the $400 quoted  to $180. They were initially going to charge me over $600 to change the assembly kit and ended up paying $385 in total when a local competitor charges $200 for the same work (replacing an assembly kit).

Since posting this review, the owner called me to hear me out and discuss the matter. He stated his company works hard and wanted to resolve my concern. Through our discussions he has agreed to a $100 refund. I greatly appreciated him reaching out and his desire to have a satisfied customer.

Their cost was out of this world!!  They didn't replace any piping under my kitchen sink, just repositioned them which did the job. And they replaced one set of shut off valves under one of my bathroom sinks.  From the moment he hit my door until he left was 45 minutes.  $354.00!!! Didn't tell me about this cost until after he was done!!!!

I had used Eco Plumbers a couple of years ago and was very pleased  but I had them out about a month ago and was very disappointed.  They charged me WAY too much to clear out a drain ($500) and then spent an incredible amount of time trying to sell me new toilets.  When that wasn't working, they looked in a closet and noticed my old hot water heater which needed to be replaced badly.  Their quote was $1500 for a 40 gallon tank.  Absurd!   In order to reach the drain they had to unhook my dehumidifier and did not hook it up again---left in a few feet from where it had been working fine.  It has not worked since then.  They also damaged the floor while clearing  out the drain.

Eco Plumbers is a first rate company, from their professional booking and confirming process to their above and beyond onsite service!  Braun and Charlie were so nice and accommodating during the install of my Halo 5 Whole House Water Conditioning System, even when I asked to go ahead and also replace the water heater, which extended the appointment and Braun brought back Mike to help.  They were amazing, I would highly recommend Eco Plumbers for all plumbing needs - I will definitely go back for all my future projects!

My regular plumber couldn't come, so as usual, I checked plumbers on yelp.com for the best feedback. My choice was The Eco Plumbers, so glad I chose them!
I had a backed up kitchen drain, the plumber was scheduled between 4-7 pm, but Gary, the plumber they sent, gave me a call, came over earlier, got it fixed within 30 minutes. Nice person, did a great job! I will definitely use this company again, I highly recommend it

There was faucet leak at around 10pm we noticed. The leak is on the 2nd floor and it was dripping on the 1st floor ceiling. Somehow arrested the lead with caulk myself. Called Eco Plumbers next day and for the same day service they told that there is trip charge of $75. I said OK and the technician came at 4pm. To replace the faucet he mentioned $250. He used technical words like shutdown water system, drain the water, replace the faucet, seal it, fill the system, check for leak etc. None of it is extra service or needs knowledge other than replacing the faucet. The faucet is connected to the pipe with crimping and so I don't want to take the risk of fixing on my own. I asked whether $250 is separate from the trip charge. He gave a pause for 20secs and then told NO. If I don't proceed with the work then I have to pay $75. The technician mentioned like the piping system is old and no one has joints like this. He has to check what is inside after cutting it. It is just half an inch tube and there is nothing to analyze. But he was mentioning just to give higher quote.

Due to the pricing and how the technician was extrapolating, I will not contact Eco in future and will NOT recommend anyone.

We were very pleased with the service that was provided.  Gavin was our plumber he was very knowledgeable and respectful.  He was able to fix the problem quickly and effectively.  As far as he goes we would give five stars.  The reason for the four stars is that they seemed to be a little bit pricey.  But they do give you a quote to agree to before they start and I did appreciate that.

I had a water pipe burst during the cold front 2 weeks ago. Being a new home owner, I was a bit panicked. I called numerous plumbers thru out Columbus, who were no doubt all swamped with similar issues, but Eco Plumber was by far the most accommodating to my and their busy schedule. Roselyn, their secretary, was so very sweet and a delight to talk to. Braun, the plumber who came out, was very informative and helpful, and just an all-around nice guy. The entire staff was very professional, prompt, and kind. A lot can be said for the care they take in doing their job. No doubt I will be returning to Eco Plumbers for any future plumbing needs.

extremely disappointing. 150-300% higher estimate than J and M plumbing. needed to rent equipment for the job.  very personable salesperson spoke of their quality company producing many good jobs in central ohio, charity gifts to Childrens Hospital?? , they hide behind sick children they're using as human shields Their estimate came in at about $8500 and I got the work done for $2750 at J and M, you do the math!   They attempt to gouge any unknowing sole who needs work done quickly and doesn't check out their high and unfair prices.  and   all the time claiming eco-friendliness, give me a break!! , their contract limits any liability of theirs to whatever the bill was.  They're in bed with the lawyers, trying to cheat anyone who signs up with them and lining their pockets(company owners) with gold.  Do a little due diligence and don't  contribute to cheats of the world, this is why American is having trouble competing, everyone wants to get rich on others backs without doing a fair days work.  They're opportunistic parasites, just so glad I didn't lose $6000 with them.

Add my voice to this chorus! Super friendly, customer focused, on time, quick and knowledgeable. He caught our toilet problem quickly and efficiently replaced worn parts. Yes, tad more $$ than I expected but I didn't need repeat visits because it wasn't done right the first time. The electronic invoice means I won't lose my receipt and can file it on my hard drive instead. Yay! Call them. You won't regret it!

We used eco to replace our water main a month ago. It was an expensive job that involved busting up our sidewalk and boring in a new pipe.  All and all is was $6k. The crew made a mess of it. They felt the need to leave and let the sidewalk hole fill with water that ended up in our basement. There was a river of mud that flowed in until we called them again and frantically asked them to send someone out with a pump before our wall washed away! They left a mess in our basement which we had to clean ourselves! When we called to complain about the mess and water that was in our basement, They man we Spoke with ,Bron seemed annoyed and unhelpful.  On top of everything thing else it took them 3 weeks to come pour our sidewalk when they said everything was going to be finished in one day! We are still waiting on them to come pick up their plastic tarps, cones, and wood debris along with all the mud and rocks they left on our road in front of our house.  So lazy!  They only positive I can say is some of the workers were nice and the new pipe works.

Set up an appointment for my parents-in-law to fix their leaky pipes.  Ammar Tiba showed up within the time frame and was able to quickly diagnose the problem, and answered all our questions.  He made it easier on us too since my mother-in-law and father-in-law don't speak English well and my wife had to serve as translator.  Ammar was patient and listened to all of us and then made several recommendations.  My wife and I also had a backup plumber coming after but once we heard from Ammar, we quickly canceled the backup and went with him.  He told us that he could fix the problems that day and went to work quickly.  The whole experience was painless and it also gave us piece of mind because he knew what he was doing and everything they did was under a one year warranty.  If you live in the Columbus area, I definitely would recommend.

I had to have someone check out my water heater. I called 4 different plumbing companies who said they couldn't get to me until 2 weeks from my call. I went online to search for other plumbing companies to call and stumbled upon The Eco Plumbers. They had such high recommendations from reviews that I had to call. They were courteous when they took my call and said they could have someone look at it that within an hour or so. Amazing! They actually could come service the unit the same day I called. Nick actually came out within the hour to check out the water heater. I was pleasantly surprised that Nick was kind, courteous, efficient, thorough, professional and explained what the problem was and checked that nothing else was wrong. I would definitely like to have Nick perform any future work that I may have.  Nick and The Eco Plumbers deserve to earn the highest rating allowed.  These guys are head and shoulders above the rest of the competition.

Had an appointment this morning to fix the water line to my new refrigerator. The guy arrived on time and was cordial. Before he started, I asked if he had a mat to protect the floor and he said he did or at least had cardboard, but I wound up putting down cardboard myself.  He looked at the leak and explained that the old line was damaged or ovaled at the end, probably from when the old refrigerator was disconnected.  He recommended adding a new, braided supply line between the existing copper pipe in the floor and the nylon tubing built into the refrigerator. It seemed excessive (the old refrigerator worked fine for 15 years without this and never leaked) and costly (over $200) but I agreed. Once he came back with the parts, he informed me that he wouldn't be doing that.  He saw a warning from GE on the back of the refrigerator specifically saying to avoid what he recommended, so he was just going to fix the existing fitting.  When he was done, I saw he had dented the front of my refrigerator (it absolutely was not dented before).  When I pointed this out, his only reply was Oh, that's too bad!  Bad, but not as bad as the service I got today.  Every time I see the dent in my refrigerator, I'll be reminded not to use Eco Plumbers again.
