My girlfriend has a steam boiler that had started making banging noises in the pipes. Gateway sent a plumber over that was not only knowledgeable but clean and courteous. Stratos got the work done quickly and efficiently.

I dont need a plumber every day... but when I do, Guarini is the only one I would use or recommend.  These guys are great.  Today I had banging noises in my furnace, I called them, they were there before their estimate, took care of the situation, and were out in a little over an hour.  Chris was great, he explained what he was planning to do and what he thought the problem was, and sure enough, fixed it right away.  
I have only great words and recommendations for this Plumbing and heating company.... I have used them on an off for over 18 years.  They are the best you can get in Jersey City!

Paul worked on certifying the plumbing for my house in NYC when I was trying to get my 2nd fl bathroom legalized. He is a straight forward guy and honest. He explained what my different options were and what it would cost. If there was something he wasn't sure about he was honest about it.
Even though it took a long time to get the bathroom signed off on by the Dept of Blds(because of bureaucratic nonsense), Paul was always prompt with taking care of things at his end. His work is good and he was responsive to emails and phone calls which is something you don't always get. I would recommend him any day.

I had a very bad waste pipe and house drain pipe break in the basement. It was REALLY BAD! I called Fenix Pipe Repair and Mike answered the call. He came and analyzed the problem and the very next day fixed everything. He went above and beyond my expectations and gave me a very good price for the work. He used quality materials and did the job quickly! Mike is very professional, courteous, knowlegeable and considerate. He came on time. He was able to spot other smaller problems and fix them too! I can't say enough good things about him and thank you doesn't suffice for all that he has done for me and my family. He is now our official plumber! Thank you again!

I can't say enough fantastic things about Jimmy and his company, Allstate Mechanical. I never do reviews, but this definitely warrants one. My wife and I just bought a house, or should I say, money pit. The water tank was the next to go and we were without hot water or working water lines. Jimmy came out and saved the day. His work was exceptional, his prices were the best, and he went the extra mile for us in so many areas. I wanted to give the man a hug.

I had Alive Plumbing come out to fix my plumbing and they were fabulous. They are so friendly and nice and when they work they keep their area clean, which I love. They do such fantastic work that I will always call them to come and fix any plumbing problems that I have.

Unless your issue is urgent it may be a wait to get a visit from Jimmy.  He always pulls through when in need and never has to come back to take another look. One visit and your problem is fixed. Thank you!!

I am a Worry-Free customer through my local utility. On Saturday morning (Sept 7) I noticed water leaking from my hot water heater.  I called the utility company to get a new unit installed. They put me in contact with Guarini Plumbing. Unfortunately I had to wait through the weekend until I would hear from Guarini to schedule the installation. They called around 7 AM Monday morning to say they were available later that day if I was. I was!  They gave me a two hour appointment window. Two gentlemen arrived after 30 minutes of the window opening.  

The gentleman were knowledgeable, pleasant and well skilled. They reviewed the steps they would take, asked for my permission to change some water valves (which I was going to request, they beat me to it!); checked my chimney for exhaust safety and got to work.  

For a job involving water and soldering, they left the site clean and dry. They gave me a very thorough run through on the operation of the water heater control panel and they were on their way. They were done before the two hour appointment window closed!  I would most definitely recommend Guarini, it was a pleasure doing business with them.

We were so delighted to have found John, the owner of John Farr Plumbing and Heating. There was a water leak from the ceiling due to boiler. It was almost 5pm and most of the plumbing company are already closed. But John not only answered my call but diagnosed and walked through very patiently over the leaks and boiler issues. He has not only fixed the problem but he also ensure the issue is resolved completely, He is by FARR the best plumber out there. Someone who is patient, kind and honest like a family friend who is expert at what he does. He does mostly violations removal but if his schedule allows, he will definitely provide his professional help. Don't hesitate to give him a call.

I needed a new water heater after sandy and Bill came over to install it. Professional, neat work and I've never had a problem with it since, he did the job right. Some plumbers in the past have done poor work that starts to leak months later, but I've never had s problem with bill and will continue to recommend him to friends and family

This company seemed like they were good and very pleasent on the phone but then after coming a day later than expected the plumber lied about the time he spent at my house and totally ripped me off. I should have made them write it down when arriving and leaving but instead I stupidly trusted them. I also don't believe that they didn't go for lunch for an hour while getting the part. I will never use them again!
