Best Plumbing Services in New York, NY

Terrible experience and I'm starting to think most of the reviews are a fake.. because this place is NOT Licensed, check it with DOB.
They sent someone over to fix a kitchen leak two months ago, and end up charging me an arm and a leg for about 1 hour worth of work.  I was under the impression they are licensed and insured and back up their work and craftmanship.  Now, just 2 months later i'm faced with the same leak and I tried to call to see if they can go back and take a look, I was told the warranty is only good for 30 days and anything else would be extra $ and that they don't want to go in person to give a free-assessment without a commitment to the job.  I'm like really??? I don't want to be con again and end up paying another lump sum for the same job.   Hence, i just decided to go elsewhere and was told by another plumber that it's a quick fix that I shouldn't have to pay so much for the job, not only that their poor job end up costing me water damage on my kitchen floors all cuz the strainer under the sink was not sealed correctly, the thing was falling off upon putting contact with it.

I messaged Sam when my old hot water heater died and was leaking rusty water into my downstairs neighbor's kitchen. He responded right away and after asking lots of questions and sending pictures back and forth he gave me a quote and scheduled a time to come replace it. He sourced the new water heater, arrived with an assistant who helped him get it up the stairs into my fourth floor walkup, then emptied the old one and took that down the many stairs, all of which seemed pretty harrowing. They then did some welding in our extremely small water heater closet and probably saved my life by pointing out how bad the ventilation was in there. I hadn't died of carbon monoxide poisoning in 5 years of living in the apartment, but WHO KNOWS how things might have turned out if not for Sam. And my shower is so hot now it's the best. Don't you want hot showers???

RECOMMEND.  First, the owner was collaborative and accommodating when I booked, and clear on price. Then, Nick the tech called to give an hour's notice, arrived on time, brought the right tools, and resolved the job within 20 minutes (which a different company had failed to resolve within 1.5 hours.)  He also offered to clean up.  GREAT. I will definitely use Pipe Monkeys again and recommend.

When I needed a water heater a year or two ago I found Mike here on Yelp based on his reviews.  I called him in the morning and by afternoon he was here and gone with a new water heater installed.  Great service!  So when I had water backing up into my basement I gave him a call for that.  He had me take a few pics, and came after finishing another job that day.  This morning he came and had it all cleared up, plus replaced a leaky steam valve, in 2 hours.  Prices are reasonable too, highly recommended.

Rob was courteous and professional, his price was fair and did an excellent job fixing the toilet leak (no more leak). It wasn't an emergency repair but he made himself available right away anyway. Can't recommend him enough.

I had a persistent leak underneath my kitchen sink for months before I decided I needed to call a professional and I'm so glad I called Marcel Plumbing. I needed immediate help with a clogged toilet.  Joshua answered immediately and was able to come over within a few hours.  He even called back and let me know that he was nearby and was able to come over earlier.
The clog was a bigger fix than originally thought and Joshua walked me through all the steps, let me know of his (very fair) pricing and left the bathroom very clean and organized and the toilet in great working order.

Our basement flooded  in the middle of the night, while we were out. Imagine coming home to a flooded basement. That's what happened. We cleaned the basement and we're trying to find someone to help use with a burst pipe. I've tried calling 5-6 other people, but they were unresponsive. JP was available first thing Sunday morning. Stop by the house and fix our pipes before noon. Reliable quick and reasonable priced, highly recommend!

Sergey came in and checked our broken shower but unfortunately the parts that he has don't match with our shower valve so he needed to go to the nearest store to buy one. He even called me just to confirm if the price was okay with me. He really did a good job. He is very professional, trustworthy and  polite. Contacting the company itself was very smooth and easy. Used for 2 projects, one for leaky sink and another for leaky sink and clogged drain.   He is very respectable person who gets the job done right and fast.  I would call again for any future plumbing issue.

Had a Friday night sink emergency that turned out to be more than just a clog - there were rotted pipes as well. 24 Hour were responsive,  knowledgeable and didn't wuit until the job was done right. Thry actually left the pipes in a better configuration than they were before. My new go-to plumber, for sure!

Robert the rescue!!

We woke up Sunday morning with no hot water  and searched yelp and luckily found Riverside Handyman services. Robert setup an appointment with us the following day between 8-10am and arrived at 9am and got right to work. A few hours later we were enjoying a nice hot shower, thanks guys!

Hassan is very knowledgeable and professional. He did some work on my boiler and gave me some pointers to prevent any long-term issues. He was easy to request a quote and made our appointment convenient. I will be remodeling soon and now I have a heating connection to do quality and reliable work. I would highly recommend to anyone.

Sewage backed up and called another company initially who said the problem would require expensive equipment and that it wouldn't be able to be resolved until a later time. Jperal won my business because they initially said to just go with the other company because they didn't want to get roped in to a job that seemed to already have someone working on it but that he found it odd that the company would recommend this higher option without having done a few more steps first. I appreciated the honest and matter of factness. The company was very prompt and the technician did a good job.
