Came out same day with fast and courteous service. Was upfront about the issue and it was quickly resolved for more than a reasonable price.

Great experience from beginning to end. When we called to have him diagnose a leak in our shower control valve as a second opinion to another plumber whom we felt was trying to gouge us, Kirk set the appointment for the next day, on a weekend, as a drop-by to check out the problem. We know very little about plumbing, but a friend of ours had told us he thought the problem might be as simple as a new cartridge; the other high-end plumber who had checked it out told us it was most likely the shower body, which would require them to go behind tile, open the drywall in an adjoining closet, and do a significant amount of work, estimated in four figures just for the plumbing, to say nothing of the wall and tile repair that would have to be done. Based on our friend's opinion, that first plumber's diagnosis didn't sound right to us, so we called Pipe Monkeys based on the reviews here. We are so glad we did.

First, Kirk showed up precisely on time as promised for the diagnosis, appropriately masked, and reviewed the issue with me. Next, he stated that he thought the issue was indeed a cartridge due to the pattern of leakage, and that we just needed to secure the part for him (since it was a high-end specialty brand that would need to be ordered) and call him when we had it in hand. He was VERY explanatory throughout, which I greatly appreciated. Finally, as he was wrapping up, I asked him how much for the initial visit, and he said, Nothing for today. I have an hourly minimum; when I come back to put in the part, today can be part of that; call me when you have the part, we're good. It's hard to find that kind of trust and good faith in contracted labor these days.

We ordered the part, and when we received it, we called Kirk and he again offered to come out the next day (he even offered to come out the same day, but we were busy) and again, he came on a weekend, totally convenient for us because we work long days during the week. He arrived per his scheduled time window, at the early end of the time window. He worked carefully and replaced the old part with the new, tested it, even provided guidance for other work we needed to have done before leaving. Everything was done in less than an hour and we were very happy with the quality of the work as well as the advice. He's going to be our go-to plumber, thanks to all the Yelp-ers who reviewed him!

One of the few genuinely helpful and intelligent quotes I've ever received on Yelp. I had a heating problem that I had to reach out to a bunch of people for quotes on ASAP. I described it thoroughly, and Michael was the ONLY person who responded with any ideas or knowledge about the problem--everyone else just replied with an 'interesting, give me a call' or 'hi id love to help' with no quote whatsoever. What's the use of the Yelp quote service if the people don't actually give you a quote? Ridiculous. Anyway, don't hesitate to contact Michael--this guy is the real deal.

Very responsive and easy to communicate. Job was completed quickly and done well. Due to the job prior to mine taking longer than expected, he arrived about 20 mins later than my appointment window. They offered a discount for the inconvenience. Top notch. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Dovi's plumbing services.  He has been my go-to plumber for years, and handled a wide variety of projects for me - including clearing drain blockages, connecting new water / gas lines, installing new water heaters, etc.  He's consistently professional and trustworthy, always quick to respond, show up, and complete the project in a timely manner.  He communicates clearly when giving diagnosis on the issue and advice on how to prevent the issue from recurring in the future.

I was moving out in 2 days time and needed a quick job on my toilet done. He responded within a very good timeframe and came that evening and completed the job. He was honest, reliable and direct about the work required. I had to send him pictures by phone and email. When he came, saw the work to be done, he quoted me a very reasonable price and only once I agreed did he start the work. I would definitely recommend this plumber and use him again in the future. He's based in Astoria which suited me (I'm in Long Island City) and works all over NYC. I found him on Yelp and he was exactly what I needed.

The job was not completed properly for my boss. After the bill was paid in full, I reached out to Christopher Marcel and told him the toilet was not flushing. I sent him vidéo my boss had sent to me. I asked if he could return the next day to fix it since he had offered to do follow up for free if needed. He was immediately agitate and told me he broke his foot. I asked if he had someone else he could send and he got pissed and hung up.

The job was not completed properly and now we will have to pay someone else.

Christopher, I'm sorry to write this and I hope your foot heals quickly. But your conduct was not professional. And it has NOTHING TO DO WITH THE COLOR OF YOUR SKIN.

I can't say enough good things about Kirills. After a Task Rabbit with supposed plumbing skills created some plumbing disasters in my condo, and another plumber simply no-showed and ghosted me, I fortunately found Kirill online and thanks to the reviews decided to hire him. Best decision! He was so professional and responsive, guiding me through the way and fixed my shower despite it having many touch and go moments as it's a discontinued model so he had to mix and match my old and new parts to get it working but thankfully he made it work without me needing to get a whole new shower body installed with the added headache of breaking down marble walls. He also worked within my budget and didn't try to extort me, and really helped me out price wise, being very straightforward about the price in advance so that there were no surprises. He is a nice and helpful person and while I hope to not need his services again soon, he will be my go-to guy next time I have a plumbing need (learned my task rabbit lesson). I highly recommend him to others who want the work done without paying an arm and a leg. Thank you Kirills!

As a commercial business owner, i had a sink and faucet that needed immediate fixing. Joshua was able to show up in 45min at a very decent price (we reached out to over 25 different plumbers and all were either unavailable or (very) overpriced. The problem was resolved on the fly and everything was operational within the hour. From the experience, if you need a reliable, quick, and friendly plumber: call joshua.

Called John early Thursday afternoon to help clear a kitchen drain. He gave me some advice over the phone to help clear it, which unfortunately didn't work.  He got someone to my home a little while later. His assistant was very respectful and did his best, but was unable to clear the drain. He tried until about 9:30 at night. John came next morning, and was successful after a hard go at it. John honored his original quote for the job and we had a nice chat afterwards. It's hard to find a good plumber, and I'll definitely call him for my next job.
