The drain pipes under my kitchen sink were badly corroded and needed to be replaced because I accidentally poked a hole in one of the pipes with a chopstick (thats how badly corroded it was! Eeek!). I reached out to get a quote and sent pictures and got a response fast. I was shopping around for quotes at the time so I didnt immediately say yes, but then upon reviewing my collection of quotes i decided to go with Vuksani Plumbing & Heating. I reached out to them yesterday and got a call back shortly after and they were able to send someone in the morning. They gave me a window of time and Apostolo, who was the plumber assigned to my job, arrived on time, masked and ready with his tools and materials. Apostolo was very professional and polite. He was clear with his explanations before, during and after the job. When a decision needed to be made (my sink was finicky) he made sure to consult with me which I appreciated very much. I'll share the before and after pictures here. The before was reaaaally bad and crooked and corroded. The after, as you can see, looks awesome and clean and professional. I also have a grey plastic drainage tube (which you can see in the before photo) for my washing machine that I had removed from the old pipes that I want to instead be hung over the lip of the sink and drain into the basin rather than the pipes. He wasn't able to do it today because the plastic tubing is actually really old and cracks when bent. He showed me and bent a small part and I could see it was a disaster waiting to happen since its a very old tube. Very thankful he caught that. So he said he could order a new tube and he can come back another day and install it the way I want. I am confident based on my experience with Vuksani Plumbing & Heating and Apostolo today that I can happily hire them to do this plastic washing machine tube job and they will come back and do great professional work. Sam was great. Fixed all of our problems with our toilet and bathroom sink and gave us guidance along the way. Hard to find a good plumbing service in Brooklyn. Glad to have met Sam and will definitely call him again for future work.

The business was very responsive with providing me a quote and availability.  They provided a heads up when they were on the way and was very prompt with the time they said they will arrive.  The plumber was knowledgeable in addressing the matter and was able to resolve the issue.  I will definitely consider them again in the event another plumbing issue occurs.

Mike was fantastic! He's a great communicator and arrived right on time. Just as importantly, he did a fantastic job with a leak underneath our kitchen sink. He also pointed out a few other things that could be tweaked with our refrigeratorr drainage line.

Finally, we're thinking about a project to get water to a small backyard we have. We have solicited others,  and Mike came up with the most efficient and cost-effective solution.

On top of all this, Mike is super pleasant and easy to talk to.

We will definitely be using Mike as our go-to plumber!

Awesome plumber. He came to me in less than an hour after work hours and fixed a problem quickly that others couldn't fix after repeated attempts. He also provided great customer service. I highly recommend and will use again.

When he arrived, he had a good idea of where the issues were and after a few trips to the hardware store, the leak was fixed. Another great visit from Kirill! He installed a new showerhead and a bidet attachment for my toilet and checked out another running toilet. And he helped me remove the plate over my ceiling fan too! Once again his rate was totally reasonable and he offered to come back anytime if I need anything adjusted. Kirill is a gem!

I was in a real jam when I woke up at like 3 AM to a flooded first floor...  I didn't know what to do.  I called my dad and he knew Josh, and gave me his number.  Within 30 minutes Josh was digging through the muck doing his work... He gave me a decent price, and considering the predicament I was in, I would have paid even more... Really good and decent guy, friendly and easy to work with.  I don't usually do reviews but I wanted to show him some love, he deserves it...

This is one of my favorite plumbing service in new york! They are super careful and they actually care about what they are doing. Very professional and quick. I called them at 11pm and they came right away and got the job done. Would recommend to anyone! And they are super clean. Helped me cleaned up the bathroom after. Very nice people as well

Flush-o-meter valve went haywire and water wouldn't stop running. Water was pouring into the hallway. The super was MIA, but Z came on a Sunday within 15 minutes and fixed the valve so that we didn't even have to replace it. Great service.

Used for 2 projects, one for leaky sink and another for leaky sink and clogged drain.   He is very respectable person who gets the job done right and fast.  I would call again for any future plumbing issue.

I had a project to do in my backyard and had no luck finding anyone on Staten island to take it. It was something I needed done right away. I called them and even though they are in Brooklyn they still took the job and we're fantastic.

I want to give Peral plumbing a higher rating, but they are a mixed bag. I used them twice in March. The first was to replace a hot water heater and the second was to replace a whole house water filter.

The good - John is a really nice guy, though seems to be overstretched. His prices are incredibly reasonable. The people show up when they say they will, and if they are running late they call - a really big plus. No extra hidden costs. Get the job done. During the pandemic John went the extra mile to make sure I had the appliances I needed before NY shut down, and for that I am eternally grateful. He really put his all into it.

The not so good - Gave me a new hot water heater that was 50 gallons to replace a 40 gallon, which I did not need, but whatever. Not a big deal. His guys installed it, and they were so busy they wanted to leave the old hot water heater full of water in my basement and pick it up another day which means don't hold your breath. I had a hissy fit and called John on the spot, and made them stay, drain the old heater of water, and take it out. I had to mop up after them, it was a mess, but this was like two days before lockdown, so we were all in a hurry, give it a pass, those were incredibly crazy days.

However, replacing my water filter was another matter. I had an Aqua Pure 801 screw on head that you need to use an 0 ring wrench that was impossible to pry off. The casing was stuck on like a lock. I had it for 16 years and I could  not take the thing off. John asked me to find the replacement. I am pretty smart, but that struck me as weird, since it is not my line of business to be a water filter expert, but  whatever. I found an Aquapure AP 904 with a click and turn replacement cartridge that was $200 a pop, but at least no more O ring wrenches.

They came, did the work, cut the pipes, mounted it to the wall with a bracket and left. And then the water filter failed after 2.5 months, though it was guaranteed for 100,000 gallons and to last a year. After reading numerous forums found out New York City water and this particular Aqua Pure filter did not work well together, and it most likely needed a pre-filter WITH ANOTHER O RING AND WRENCH, which put it right back where I started, except two filters instead of one. You could say that is my fault, and I own it, but on the other hand, Peral is the plumber and I am not. Plumbing is not my line of work, water filters is not my line of work, and knowing the specifics of New York City water ins and outs is not my area of expertise.

So in sum, use Peral plumbing, they are good guys, the prices are reasonable, but nothing fancy or complex. Also be on top of the subcontracting guys, who basically do not have the same care and attention to doing a good job that John has.
