Due to the hurricane Ida my basement flooded and my water heater and gas furnace stopped working. I couldn't find any available plumber to help me until I found Wanda. She made sure I got a water heater immediately. The water heater came and her guy came right after. He took care of everything. He was professional and great. He replaced the water heater and fixed the gas furnace. I'm so thankful everything is working again. Wanda to the rescue! Will use this company  again. Highly recommend!

I have to give a shout out to our awesome plumber Mark Trimble. No he didn't tell me to write any of this but I see a lot of questions in here asking for a great plumber. I can't recommend him enough if you have a job that you need done right the first time, need to fix a job that was botched by another company (like one that rhymes with Sold Pedal), or any challenging or creative fix. Mark and his son are the guys to save the day.

They treat your house like their own. In our case, our sump pump failed and the back up too. Plus the original company who installed the connector to the townhouse drainage system did a terrible job (before we moved in) and water was splashing all back on our bricks causing damage. Mark is not the cheapest plumber but is is absolutely the best around. He can do anything, do it right, do it to code, and make sure you won't run into problems in the future by corner cutting. He knows what he is doing and stands behind his work. I think they must have come by five times for our job to quote, help us keep the basement from flooding, lent us a little manual pump, installation, and checking in to make sure it worked properly. That kind of service is rare these days.

Though, it was the first time I have dealt with this company, it has exceeded my expectations. The gentleman who showed up to do the job arrived on time for the two times. He was neat, knowledgeable and very attentive. Additionally, the asking price was reasonable, so much so, I did not even argue about it. All things considered, I have had a very good experience with this company and Mario, the technician.  I would strongly recommend Pipemaster.

I have had to call Algozini twice over the years and both times it was a wonderful experience, or at least as wonderful as problems with your toilet can be.  They returned my call quickly, came to my apartment in a timely manner (today even earlier than they estimated), and handled my issue professionally.  All the while explaining to me what went wrong in a kind, non patronizing way.  If you need a plumber, definitely call these guys

They replaced my hot water heater, great service and experience.  They were on time, did good work, were professional, didn't nickel and dime me (what I paid was what they quoted over the phone), and even swept up and left the boiler room cleaner than it was when they got there.  Finding a good plumber is hard but I recommend them.

24/7 Manhattan plumbing sent one of their professionals over in about an hour to unclog a toilet. While not the cheapest option, they arrived quickly, were cordial and fast to get the job done. They also do take debit cards. Not sure about Amex, but definitely bank card.

This is that quintessential good plumber you tell all your friends about. The owner's name is Scott and he is as professional as they come. If he doesn't answer your call directly, he will return your call well within 24 hours if it isn't an emergency and within minutes for emergency calls. I have been using him since 1996 for various plumbing jobs and just this past month I gave him the business of converting our old oil burner to a natural gas one. He personally came for the estimate and even measured our radiators to put the perfect sized boiler in. He and his staff had the entire job done in 2 days. We were out of heat for only hours. I recommend this plumber for all your plumbing needs for people in the Bloomfield, Glen Ridge, Montclair and surrounding areas.

After having a bad experience with two plumbers who failed to solve the tight space issue where my leaking water heater was located, Tom and his crew found a solution. I had excellent communication with LoriAnn in the office who patiently answered all my questions through phone call, texts and emails. I received a detailed estimate in advance and the job was completed professionally and on time as promised with no added fees or attempts to up sell. This family-owned business provides excellent service and their positive reviews are well deserved!

We just had Victor from RotoRooter (Middlesex branch) clean out a main sewer line stoppage that had flooded part of our basement.  He was very nice, thorough, and clean.  He cleared both the sewer main and another small clog in the trap right next to the main drain using a 2-inch blade and then again with a 3-inch blade and the water flowed perfectly.  It was obvious that it was a strenuous job in a small space in our laundry room, and he was covered in sweat by job's end.  I was very appreciative for the hard work and the end result.  For Victor alone, I would've given him 5 stars.

However, my main complaint is in the price-- over $475+tax!  He was there for 2 hours and while it was a tough job, I just saw that I could've rented similar equipment from Home Depot for 1/4 of that price ($100 for the day)!  There are also YouTube videos showing how to use it.

We have lived in our house for 11 years and never had a stoppage like this so were thrown off by all the water we found in the basement after our washing machine overflowed.  After hours of clean-up and ripping up flooring, I was desperate to get back to using the water (we couldn't even flush the toilets or clean up!) and I sincerely expected at most a $200 job.  If I would've known I could rent my own equipment, I would've done that in a heartbeat!  

Shame on me for not investigating such a matter further.  But shame on RotoRooter for charging such exorbitant rates and taking advantage of customers who are tired, frustrated and desperate.  I don't blame Victor for anything-- we discussed right in front of him that the price was huge, was more than a week of camp for our kids-- but he explained that the prices were fixed, there was no charge for the estimate, and that the price wasn't dependent on how long it took to complete the job.  We also weren't asked for cash (we ended up paying by credit card and found a $40 coupon) so the end bill was around $460 but I am disgusted and would never use this company again.

Knowing what I know now, I will always do my own drain clearing and will be sure to watch lots of YouTube videos and read many more reviews before getting any service from a professional.  Costly but valuable lesson learned.

Paid for them clean my heating system was told by another company that it has not been touched.  Tried to explain that to the owner after yelling at me said he will call back he never called back...

They fixed my problem (simple clogged drain--was a non-emergency and they came several days after I called, which was fine) and everyone was very nice and professional.  But after I got the invoice I called around and they were by far the most expensive.  I paid it because, in all fairness, price was not discussed beforehand.  Unfortunately, on that basis, I wouldn't use them again, including on the brownstone we're gutting.

Looks like great reviews from people who have used the services. I just spoke to two women on the phone who do not sound sure of anything they are saying and can hardly understand me. They can't give me a price for the service call because the office doesn't do that. Even when I said, I know the plumber has to see the work before we know the total cost, but you must have a service call price and hourly rate, she said, I think its about $160.

Called up and made an appointment (after a 10 minute wait on phone). Assured of the time I left work to get home on time. 10 minutes after they were meant to show, I get a call saying they are having car trouble and can we reschedule for tomorrow. I realize that things happen, but the guy slipped up and said we're really busy today which to me means that they tried to sneak in an extra call (for $300 to snake a sink) and couldn't make it happen. Bad business sense and a huge waste of my afternoon.

This company is working by my apartment building and as they were loading pipes on to there cart they left it unattended and it dented my vehicle.There supervisor was standing there with them they just walked away and pretended like it didn't happen luckily for me another company was working there and told me what happened and now they don't take my calls and refuse to pay for the damages they did to my vehicle.
