Best Plumbing Services in New York, NY
Due to the hurricane Ida my basement flooded and my water heater and gas furnace stopped working. I couldn't find any available plumber to help me until I found Wanda. She made sure I got a water heater immediately. The water heater came and her guy came right after. He took care of everything. He was professional and great. He replaced the water heater and fixed the gas furnace. I'm so thankful everything is working again. Wanda to the rescue! Will use this company again. Highly recommend!

I have to give a shout out to our awesome plumber Mark Trimble. No he didn't tell me to write any of this but I see a lot of questions in here asking for a great plumber. I can't recommend him enough if you have a job that you need done right the first time, need to fix a job that was botched by another company (like one that rhymes with Sold Pedal), or any challenging or creative fix. Mark and his son are the guys to save the day.
They treat your house like their own. In our case, our sump pump failed and the back up too. Plus the original company who installed the connector to the townhouse drainage system did a terrible job (before we moved in) and water was splashing all back on our bricks causing damage. Mark is not the cheapest plumber but is is absolutely the best around. He can do anything, do it right, do it to code, and make sure you won't run into problems in the future by corner cutting. He knows what he is doing and stands behind his work. I think they must have come by five times for our job to quote, help us keep the basement from flooding, lent us a little manual pump, installation, and checking in to make sure it worked properly. That kind of service is rare these days.

Beyond pleased with Mario and his partner!
Let me start with a few points:
1. Consulting with Mario not only did I receive a quick response but a clear, thorough consultation. He gave me a great quote and worked with my schedule.
2. Prior to the appointment I had to cancel and reschedule due to an emergency however Mario was very understanding and rescheduled with me right away.
3. Day of appointment, Mario and his partner showed up on time and wore their mask, covered their boots prior to walking in. (I'm usually flexible and don't mind but seeing them take the initiative to do so is great)
4. Mario and his partner completed the job and installed my new water system while answering my questions and informing me with additional instructions on how to maintain my new system.
5. Lastly, I'm not handy at all but Mario made me feel very comfortable and offered his services anytime I had any problems!
Thank you both again really happy!

We had a water main break in our house in Yonkers. I called 3 plumbers who all quoted me 15-30K to repair. Martin O'Grady came over, and was able to do the job for under 5K. The reason is that he specializes in sewers and water mains. The other guys don't have excavation teams on staff-- they just subcontract all of the excavation, which is very expensive. Martin's guys are on staff, and know just what they are doing. Martin is a nice older Irish guy who knows what's what, and took care of the whole problem. I hopefully won't have another problem with the water, but if I do, I would call O'Grady Plumbing without hesitation.

I just had a very unfortunate run-in with this company. I was walking through a crosswalk (83rd Street at 3rd Avenue) when their van went way past the line (into the crosswalk) at a red light. I yelled, do you see the red light? and kept walking. A white man inside the car yelled after me, are you a cop? I responded, no, but I can get your license plate number (97185JZ, if my memory ten minutes later is correct). He then began yelling homophobic slurs at me: f*ggot, come take it up the ass, why don't you suck my dick? as I continued to walk up 3rd Avenue. I want to also note that there was a black man in the car (maybe another employee) who was not involved and tried to de-escalate the situation by telling the guy to calm down at one point and waving at me to keep going. This took place over about a minute at around 11am on 2/7/19.

They replaced my hot water heater, great service and experience. They were on time, did good work, were professional, didn't nickel and dime me (what I paid was what they quoted over the phone), and even swept up and left the boiler room cleaner than it was when they got there. Finding a good plumber is hard but I recommend them.

My bathtub has been clogged for the past few days. The water would take forever to go down like a few hours. I tried Drano and using the plunger but that didn't help at all. I found this company because two other local companies did not answer the phone. They answered my call and had someone visit within the next hour! It was a very quick process, I'd say less than 10minutes! I highly recommend this place if you need something done right away! He explained what was wrong as well as the tools he was going to use for the procedure. They also take debit/credit card payments too for those who don't have cash Thank you guys!!

Joe and Steve from Safehaven Home Services recently installed a new gas water heater which was a replacement for a water heater which had failed prematurely. Both workers were very professional in their diagnosis of our old water heater problem and did the installation in a very timely manner. They had also previously installed a pressure relief valve which would minimize any damage to our boiler due to overpressure by incoming water from SCWA. Their work was superb and Lorianne, the office manager, scheduled everything perfectly for us. The price given to us for the amount of work done was very good. I highly recommend Safehaven Home Services for any plumbing services required.

The plumber from Pelham Plumbing arrived on time, assessed & fixed the problem with our kitchen sink and everything has been great since. I would recommend them to a friend!

Work is not the best for the price they send young inexperienced guys to do the job and charge a arm and a leg for the job and they fix everything but the problem so you keep calling them back

Christmas eve 4:45 pm a friend came over. I was worried that the drain in my small front yard was plugged with leaves. It was a pool of murky brown water. Then I saw my ground floor tub was filthy, not draining. We went to the basement; it looked like the seventh ring of hell with filthy water seeping in.
I called Watson's. A young man, Eugene, arrived. He worked in the murk for two hours. The bill was minuscule compared to the work that had to be done.
I am still overwhelmed by their service. More than a present for Christmas

The customer service is horrible. Incredibly overpriced ($275 to snake a toilet bowl) for a service that did not fix the problem. The plumber claimed to have snaked 10 feet and later admitted it was at least 2 feet less than that. Toilet broke again 2 days later. Plumber was supposed to come back on a Friday, but had a family emergency. Didn't bother calling to let me know that he would not be showing up. Showed up the next morning 45 minutes late. Blamed me for flushing things down the toilet despite the fact that I purchased the toilet paper he recommended and have flushed minimal amounts. Wanted to charge another $175 to rebuild the toilet ($20 for parts). Incredibly unprofessional and refused to spend more than 30 seconds looking at the toilet and diagnosing the actual problem. Will NEVER call this place again.
