My problem was low pressure in my entire house. 5 minutes into my conversation with Scott, I immediately knew I was going to give him the job. I'm an engineer and very methodical and did my legwork and spoke to 5 or 6 other contractors asking every question you could image before I spoke to Main main. Each contractor give me a piece of the explanation with no clear plan or explanation that I and was looking for. Scott gave met the entire outline and painted my scenarios while being extremely detailed.  I could tell he was very very experienced - no bull.

Scott came in with a professional and courteous team. They made sure they covered all the bases from making sure the street was free where they needed to dig to cleaning up and sealing the street extremely professionally. My water pressure was so strong afterwards that I've never had such good pressure for 25 years! They made sure they carefully worked and walked in my basement as it was a finished basement. What I thought was going to be a painful job, turned out to be so seamless and painless. My issue was a dirty city tap.  Main man cleaned it out with a special threading tool and tested the pressure several times afterwards before reconnection. They made sure to show me the difference of the pressure before and after. Scott is a pleasure to contract out.

Our toilet had a stoppage in the middle of the night. After consulting with multiple plumbers, Akeim of Sturks Sewer Works was able to clear the blockage and get the toilet back into functional order at a very reasonable rate. Thank you so much Akeim!

We had an issue with the gas line at my restaurant. There was a pin sized hole somewhere in the line and it was leaking out. Damion came down and within hours the hole had been found and the leak fixed. Not only was he professional but his great attitude kept everyone at ease through this obviously stressful time. I don't generally Yelp but couldn't pass this one up. If i could give 10 stars, I would. Excellent company and Damion could not have been better at what he does. Highly recommend.

We had to get our kitchen faucet replaced, due to a leak. We sent him a video, and he was able to diagnose the problem and get a technician out right away to help us get the problem fixed.

Patrick from his team came out and was nice, pleasant and a total pro, who explained to us what he was doing, since me and my fiancé would like to be able to fix a similar problem should it happen in the future. Great professional service. Will absolutely use again when needed.

They are also able to provide COI's where necessary.

After a different plumbing company couldn't unclog my kitchen sink, they referred me to Downtown Plumbing. Now, that in itself means a lot--a plumbing company that is recommended by other plumbers!

These guys really came through for me. They were able to provide same day service at a reasonable rate. Willie and Antonio were prompt and friendly. They had all the tools and parts ready to go in their truck, so they were well prepared for any possible scenario. Most importantly, Willie remained calm, collected, and confident throughout. He assured me that he would troubleshoot any problem until it was fixed and I was satisfied.

If I need a plumber again, I'll be calling Downtown Plumbing!

Our kitchen needed remodeling. Honestly, my wife and I purchased a new kitchen countertop and we were looking for someone install it. Samir by far is a great choice. He made us feel very comfortable, answered all our questions, and also suggested a few other options. The installation was quick, neat and perfect. I wish I could give zero stars! This is hands down the worse service I have ever dealt with. Extremely unprofessional, Eric showed up with barely any tools and made the issue worse than it was. He was unable to reach the pipe so took a hammer and started banging the pipes until something finally broke. Had to come back numerous times since the problem was never really fixed. Finally had to call another company, who came and fixed the problem immediately and we have never had another issue since! Not only did Cheap Johns not fix the issue, but we had to deal with someone who was extremely obnoxious over 6 times!! Please save yourself a lot of time, energy, and money and use any other service!

Guy tells me on the phone that they have the cartridge for a specific toilet flush system.  He sounded dismissive and like he didn't know what he was talking about, so I asked three times, even though he tried to hang up on me, if it was the cartridge they had.  He says yes then hangs up.  Walk over there and it's the handle not the cartridge.  Another guy working there acknowledged what an idiot the person I dealt with was and tried to help but they didn't have the part.  I'm not a plumber, but I know how to fix a toilet and the exact parts I need to do so.

Steer clear of this place.  They don't want to be bothered by non-plumbers.
