We had a leaking problem pipe in our basement! We called a lot of plumbers.

Scott returned our call promptly and came by the next day with a fair estimate. Then he came back the next day with a pipe camera to make sure the problem was as he had diagnosed.

Compared to other plumbers who either didn't return our calls, or scared us with huge estimates to fix much more than needed fixing, Scott focused on the problem and fixed it within a few days. He guaranteed his work for five years, which is very reassuring.

He was honest, fair, and knowledgeable.

Our toilet had a stoppage in the middle of the night. After consulting with multiple plumbers, Akeim of Sturks Sewer Works was able to clear the blockage and get the toilet back into functional order at a very reasonable rate. Thank you so much Akeim!

Unreliable!!! Made an 9-10 am appointment almost a week in advance by phone and stayed home from work to wait for them. Started leaving messages at 10 am to if the plumber was coming.... 15 phone calls/messages/emails and 6 hours later I finally gave up. Never heard a word from them.

Eddie and his team were excellent: prompt, professional, and knowledgeable!

Despite it being New Year's Day when I contacted Eddie, he responded in less than an hour and came out the next day to diagnose our problem (dead water heater). Since we opted to use him for the repair, Eddie did not charge us for the diagnostic fee. He is knowledgeable about the different water heater brands, and I feel confident with the product he recommended and installed.

For both the diagnostic visit and the repair, Eddie kept me updated via text on his estimated arrival time and was always punctual. The team installed the new water heater very quickly. The price was quoted up front, and there were no surprises when the work was completed.

In terms of COVID precautions - the team wore masks and gloves while they were in my apartment.

They did the job quickly,  efficiently and professionally.  They communicated and explained everything that need to be done. I especially liked that Mike was respectful and wore a mask when speaking with my family.  I highly recommend Austin Plumbing and Heating.

I needed to change the tub spout in my shower and I couldn't get the old one off. I called Platinum and they promptly scheduled service for me during my desired window. Pete arrived at exactly the appointment time, and handled our job exceptionally well. He was such a perfectionist that he insisted on doing our job for free due to a minor cosmetic issue. Our overall experience with Platinum and with Pete in particular was extremely positive and they will be my first call in the future for any plumbing needs.

Had a problem with the heat in my house this morning. Making things worse was the temperature outdoors was below 32 degrees.  I checked the pilot light for the Weil Mclein boiler in my basement -- despite several Attempts to light the pilot, it would not stay lit, and thus no heat in my house.  So I called a couple of contrac I knew -- unfortunately they were not available to help.  Hence, I decided to check on Yelp.com for heating specialists.  Found Downtown Plumbing & Heating with positive reviews-- thus I decided to give them a call.  i called around 11am, and got a dispatch for someone to come to my home by 2 - 3 Pm. At 1:23 pm, George arrived well ahead of time with the right part to quickly resolve the boiler issue.  I am very happy with the service, and enjoying the warm heat on this cold night.  Saving their number for the future!

Would absolutely recommend Colin for your plumbing needs.  He showed up the same day I called him, just a couple of hours later, to fix 3 separate minor plumbing problems we were having in our apartment related to our kitchen sink and washer/dryer.  He was kind, polite, and explained everything clearly, which I appreciated.  Because of the pandemic he also wore a mask (properly over his nose, I would add) and shoe covers.  He worked quickly and had reasonable rates.  Highly recommend!

I love Blaustein. They have been around for 20+ years and have come in times of emergency as well as remodels. We reached out to Samir after purchasing our home to handle the installation of numerous electrical work as well as interior painting of the entire home. He was extremely responsive and flexible via text / email. He came the following day, took a tour of our new home, and gave us a very fair estimate of the project and time frame to complete. We quickly agreed and he started the very next week. Insurance was provided. He also gave us a great discount on painting materials which saved us a lot of money on our end.

He came at 9am every day on time and concluded work at 5pm. He gave us a project deadlines that he followed and was able to finish the work he promised to do in that time frame.

Installation of multiple outlets was completed within 1 day.

3 floors - all walls/closets/doors. Each floor averaging about 2 days completion.

His team varied per day, but Samir overlooked the entire project and managed his team and their work. If he was unsatisfied with the quality of work, he would make amends. He is very hands on and even helped us other things that were not initially included in the quote such as installing a very heavy chandelier. He also provided a snake to clear a clog in our plumbing. Overall, Samir is a very knowledgeable contractor who knows a bit of everything.

Payment was given via Venmo after completion of work.

We had a pipe burst in the morning.  Called Friedman and Son, and an hour and a half later the guys were here.  They worked pretty quickly, cleaned up after themselves, and the price I was told over the phone was what I paid.  They are honest, their work was good, and they were quick.  Couldn't be happier.

Best service Ive ever had from a business.I had a problem with the DEP not accepting my backflow test results due to the initial test being filled out incorrectly by a Build it Back architect,Tom and his staff did all the legwork contacting all the parties involved and rectified the situation.They saved me a lot of money in fines,And also saved me from having to hire another architect.They asked for nothing in return,even though they spent alot of time and energy on my case.

There customer service is great, everyone is friendly. I would recommend this spot to any one in need of plumbing supplies. I was also told they sell Girl Scout Cookies so I had stopped by to buy some and it was very heart warming to see how the father was supporting his daughter.

Really couldn't ask for a better experience. Called in th morning and Oscar came over within a few hours even though I let them know it was not an emergency. Fixed both a leaky pipe and broken toilet in a very reasonable amount of time and was extremely fair with the invoice. He is clearly an honest guy! Will certainly be my new plumber going forward. Can't go wrong with these guys!

I just purchased a home in North Brunswick and had major sewage issues, basement flooded the works. I literally called urgent drain and they were there that day. When the workers came they went right to work. They put the camera down my trap, snaked my line and hydro jetted it. It was hot and they was grinding. At the end before they left I found out that one of the guys that was out there grinding for like 4-5 hours was the Owner Rob. If the OWNER grinds like that, I know all his workers do. I highly recommend him. You get top quality service at fair and reasonable prices..

Do not work with! They came in to fix an issue with our kitchen sink leaking. They installed the wrong size pipe that caused our dishwasher to not drain properly but it took us a few months to figure out the issue. When we called back to ask them to come install the right size pipe they said we had to contact the plumber directly who came to our apartment and there was nothing they could do... when we got in touch with the plumber he said he would come and then cancelled 3 days in a row then completely stopped answering us. Cheap johns is still saying there is nothing they can do for us meanwhile our receipt and warranty for the original work is from their company... it's inexcusable and I would expect a refund if they can't fix THEIR mistake since the work was done incorrectly and they are not honoring the warranty on their receipt

Bought a portable dishwasher, and the device that connects to the sink didn't seem to fit my sink. I went to AE on the recommendation of a local hardware store that wasn't able to help me out.

Turns out, I wasn't doing it the right way and it did fit. They helped me out free of charge, despite the fact that I was a retail client instead of a contractor, who seem to be their typical customers. I appreciated the honesty and quick service!
