Had gas heat boiler cleaned today
They checked everything
They fully emptied water in boiler to get rid of excess rust
Filled boiler to excess to check for cracks
Pulled apart gas jet etc cleaned and vacuumed
Checked all electronics
Totally professional

The guys just left after installing new bathroom sink and vanity...arrived on time, explained to me what was going to be done, installed, cleaned up and again updated me before leaving.  Price was exactly as quoted over the phone.  What more can you ask for??  Very happy with service

I called Thompson Plumbing and Heating this morning to get my boiler fixed, and a few hours later the job is done. They were  professional on the phone, gave me a quote estimate on the job and sent someone out ahead of schedule. Billy, who worked on the boiler appeared to know exactly what he was doing, worked efficiently, all while fielding my heating questions. First impressions are everything, and so far I'm impressed and I plan on using them for all of my future plumbing and heating needs.

TWO problems.

I called for a backed up toilet on a weekend. I was not able to get an hourly rate from the plumber but was told it would be in the range of $200 to $400 depending on how big the job was. The plumber snaked the toilet and was done in 15 minutes, a week later I get a $300 bill. I don't understand why this is $300 when you are there for 15 minutes and in the same town and told me it would be in the range of $200-$400. Would a 5 minute job be $200?

I called a few times trying to get an answer on the bill and was never able to reach a representative (only an answering system) .

Plumber diagnosed issue as an incorrect flapper. Even after installing a new one, the toilet still backed up. Come to find out after calling in someone else, there was an object that was in the drain.

Thompson Plumbing is awesome! Great customer service and competitive prices. I got quotes from two other plumbers and Thompson was the best deal. I left a message and received a call back the same day. Joey came out the next morning to give me an estimate and offered to do the job later in the day. Pleasantly surprised with the quick turnaround! He and Billy disconnected my water filter system (made the pressure weak) in 10 minutes.  I now have normal running water. Thanks, guys! Highly recommend them.

I had recently decided to convert my house from oil heat and hot water to natural gas heat and hot water.  I received 3 bids for the work and James Thompson Plumbing's bid was the lowest and also was using better equipment.  From start to finish Jamie and his crew were professional.  They were always quick to answer any questions I had about the system and components.  They were able to work with my busy schedule to install the heating system and promised the work to be completed in one day.  They met this goal and finished in one day and the work is top notch.  All of the pipes are level and precise.  They went above and beyond the original scope of the project to make sure I would later have the ability to plumb in a gas stove or dryer.  Even the gas company and town inspector was impressed with their work.  Thank you once again Jamie and your crew!

We have been using James Thompson Plumbing for a few years.  They are always responsive and professional.  If they are unable to walk me through something over the phone they are at our house the same day!  They charge very reasonable prices for the work!  Every employee that has been out to our house is friendly and professional.  I would recommend them to anyone who asks.
