We're very happy we found Isley Plumbing.  We researched different plumbers and chose Isley, and we agree with others that they are the best around.  Every part of the process was impressive & professional, starting with the call to obtain the appointment, then the text to tell me the plumber was on his way (with a clear photo of his face!), and the professionalism & quality of the plumber himself.  He was well-trained, knew what he was talking about, took the time to offer us options & to educate us, and was careful, efficient, and skilled with his work.
The work he did for us:  replace our garbage disposal.
We liked that he came prepared with two types of disposals on his truck, explained them both, and let us choose between the basic on & an upgraded one.  We chose the upgraded one after numerous fails with basic disposals.  Other plumbers in the past just replaced our disposal with another low-end one & thus we kept having problems.
We are happy to have found Isley & will be using them from now on.

I started using Isley and Sons probably 12 years ago when our water heater failed. At that time, everyone was charging a diagnostic fee of ~$70 but not Isley.  Despite my repeated statements of: I don't need you to diagnosis anything.  I have no hot water and water is leaking from the tank.  I want to you to replace it.  Everyone still needed to charge the a Dx fee.  So, I had Isley come out and replace the hot water tank, and they keep coming back time and time again.  The State brand of water heater they install keeps leaking, albeit under warranty and I keep getting the units replacement for free; however, I do have to pay for labor at a salty $500.  The two plumbers aren't on site an hour.

Prior to arrival, I receive an email with the plumber's photo and name and a follow up call with an ETA too.  I feel they are qualified and competent and safe enough that I would leave my wife home alone when here.  Yes, they have had to come back due to a leak but, hey, I makes mistakes too.  They wear protective face masks and shoe coverings and lay a thick canvas tarp on my hardwoods before removing the old water heater.  

While State may go out of business replacing these units under warranty, Isley and Sons will be around for generations to come.  When my current replacement fails, I am going to find the water heater I want, and then find someone to install, if I simply don't do it myself.  Getting the old one out of the basement will be the tax though.

Our hot water valve for the washing machine wouldn't shut completely. I called after hours, leaving a message describing the problem. L E Isley called first thing the next morning, put me on the standby list for that day. Corbin and Adam arrived early afternoon, courteous and professional. They quickly had the valve changed out. The charges were very reasonable, too. We will continue to depend on LE Isley.

I cannot say enough good about Isley Plumbing, and especially their master tradesman, Jake Lembke. We have used Isely for most of our plumbing issues since moving to Carmel 14 years ago: fixing an outside natural gas line, installing a new frost proof outside faucet, installing new ball valves on our outside water lines, fixing the inner valve in our new bathroom shower that had recently been installed backwards by the remodeler, installing a new kitchen faucet, and making expert repairs on our kitchen drain pipe configuration. Isley's prices are reasonable, their service prompt and on-time, they explain everything, their workmanship is top of the line, they are most honest, courteous, and accommodating, and their web site is easy to navigate. I could not ask for anything more.

So I originally left a review two months ago in regards to a specific tech Shaun and have very rude, disrespected and racist he treated me and handled himself.  I even mentioned how the other tech that was with him was very professional, respectful and handled himself wonderful.  I even called in to speak with someone about the matter before leaving a review on here, Google and the company.  Everything that I expressed was exactly what happened.  I was not upset at the company but the tech Shaun.  I even thought that leaving the reviews the company would contact me to resolve the issues.  Well that is not what happened at all.  They actually told my boss that I left all these reviews and that reviews like that hurt their business.  Well if something hurts your business and that is not how your company handles themselves then you would resolve the issue and even issue an apology.  Not what happened at all.  This company actually made it as if how I was treated by a tech that works for their company was nothing and I should not have left a review.  Not okay at all!!  I was treated how I was by your tech and no one in two months reached out to resolve the issue.  Not even when I asked the woman who I spoke with on the phone personally for some to contact.  I am not a child but a grown African American woman how demands respect and to be handled in a professional manner.  So at this point this company has now dug another hole for themselves instead of handling the issue at hand the appropriate way.  Do not ever go to someone else to tell on me as if your have that right.  Your tech was inappropriate, out of line, rude, disrespectful, unprofessional and racist to me.  Not my problem but his. If you chose to not deal with it then you are part of the problem also.

I have not used used this company for plumbing services but had them contracted by Subzero Wolf for appliance installation
They installed incorrectly and would not make an attempt to rectify
Subzero had to get another contractor involved to correct their mistake

Called because toilet flapper sometimes was failing to fall. They changed out flapper and fill valve but when he was done, the toilet constantly cycled, refilling on its own because the new flapper leaked constantly.

Called back.  They returned and said 1. The old flapper had probably been leaking constantly also. NO it definitely was NOT refilling every several minutes on its own.  The toilet after their fix was working worst than before they came!  2. They then announced the toilet was TOO OLD and it had to be totally replaced! It would never seal right because the porcelain was worn.  

IF that was true, then why had they replaced both the fill valve and the flapper and charged for this?

Called a different company who changed out the flapper.  This time, it only refilled few couple hours instead of every several minutes. They returned and changed the flapper for the third time and the toilet has worked FINE ever since. Flapper falls every time. Flapper seals completely.

Obviously the toilet was not worn out or in need of total replacement as Isley claimed.

Feeling as if one is being both charged and lied to by the plumbing company one has used for decades is upsetting.

I've used Isley numerous times and don't plan on using anyone else for my plumbing needs.  The folks on the phone and the technician were friendly as could be and fixed the issues quickly.  Keep up the good work...

Jake Lembke went above and beyond to make sure I had working water in my kitchen. After he realized my old/broken faucet had been installed wrong he had to use a saw to get it out. Then came the bigger problem - my new $360 faucet had a manufactuers defect - a chip in the sensor area. He waited for me to drive to lowes to get a new one. And he installed it. All told a 4 hour job - for which I paid only the basic install price.  Highly recommend this company. Oh - I was able to get a fix the day after I called.

Today we had our water heater replaced by Rik. Excellent service! He called ahead of his arrival within the timeframe we were given and worked hard until the job was done right.

We thought it would be a basic repair of bad heating fuses, but he had to replace the entire heater and trim pipes to get it to fit. A pretty big job for a Saturday morning/afternoon that none of us expected.

We will certainly call them again for future repairs. Professional and friendly right from the start with the receptionist booking the repair.  VERY SATISFIED and thrilled to have hot water again as the weather gets colder.

We were very happy with the work we had them come out to do.
We had to replace a hot water heater before it literally just drained on its own due to the corrosion we get from this awful Central Indiana water.
We knew it went out and needed someone here as fast as possible.
Isley gave us a very fair quote over the phone and then came out to replace and haul away the old water heater. They were EXTREMELY POLITE, PUNCTUAL and very clean! Did not come in and even track in a drop of the mud that was outside at the time due to heavy rain.
We'd recommend them in a heartbeat. We did find one other company that gave us a quote of $100 less and they matched it. Obviously not every quote can be matched but they were able with ours. I was sick with Pneumonia at the time and I can't say enough about how professional they were. I was feeling like crud at the time and needed someone who was punctual and professional!

Have used them several times, found them after using some other plumbers whose work they corrected.  They text you to know when coming, perform great work, and they had the best price.  Really a great company in every aspect, couldn't be happier with their work.

They have a trip charge of $25 to provide an estimate.  Other plumbers will provide free quotes/estimates.  They said they have a coupon on Angie's List to waive it but won't give that out if you're not a member of Angie's List.  

I wouldn't use this company.  Their policies seem fishy to me.

Very responsive and plumber did a good job.  Three star review was secondary to pricing.  Make sure you ask before work is done.  I had a hose bib replaced and a simple gas leak repaired and the bill was over $700.  I won't use them again because of the pricing.  Other then that they were great but it felt like I was being gouged.

This was my first time using Isley's and wow, very impressed!  Communication was awesome.  Larry Brown was the tech who was here first thing this morning. Very professional and he sure knew what he was doing.  He got the parts needed and proceeded to spend 5-6 hours in our crawl working until it was done.  Very appreciated!!

We have used Isley Plumbing many times over the years. We have used them for service calls for our sump pump, among other things. We also had them plumb our entire basement when we finished it.  They are always timely, professional, and do great work. I would definitely recommend them.

Shaun  recently serviced an extremely annoying faucet leak in my home. Not only was he punctual, and knowledgeable regarding the problem, he did it a professional way including wearing shoe coverings. I would recommend him without reservation in the future. What an asset to the LE Isley Company.
