Reviews
This company is extremely responsive and professional. I needed repairs to my driveway cement sewer ring. After calling several companies and leaving messages with no response, Greg Hannah Plumbing came out to give an estimate within the hour. The next day they were out to fix the problem. Joey and Carl did an excellent job. They were extremely professional and kind. I would not hesitate to use this company for any of my plumbing needs. Reasonably priced too.
Super unprofessional and terrible owner. I worked with in the past and were great but now they do the job halfway and charge twice for the same job. I called them multiple times to get the issue resolved and the ower says I need rod out twice in two weeks and refuses to admit that they didn't do the job correctly the first time

I've had them for two jobs once to reseat a leaking toilet and another time to replace some old pipes for the tub and shower causing very low hot water pressure . Thumbs up for a job well done in a 98 year old house
The best. Knowledgeable, COMPLETELY trustworthy (this is rare) and charges a fair price.
Called to replace hose attachment on side of house. Techs arrived within appointed time frame and job was completed satisfactorily within 30 minutes. Received 10% senior discount as well.

Back in the fall I had an issue with the water backing up on the toilet line. This company sent out a technician that rodded our the toilet line and charged me $650.
Four months later - same problem
They sent another plumber and I am not sure what he did but he charged me another $200. I followed up with an email questioning the charges and service and never got a response. I was looking for long term solution.
I had to call another company to come and look at the issue and offer me a long term solution.
Very disappointing!
Called them to check our clogged toilet. After they did a complete inspection they determined that my toilet was not clogged. I strongly recommend Greg Hannah Plumbing. They were great.
The plumber that came did an excellent job. I was impressed that they have a price catalog for the services.

Nothing but the ultimate professionalism. I spoke to them on the phone and they were able to help right away! I highly recommend their service!!
Had such a great experience! My neighbor told me that this was an honest company which was perfect because another company tried to sell me a huge fix for a small problem. Greg came in and explained what he would have to do. Made an appointment time for the following week to do the job. Showed up as promised and the two workers did the fixing of the problem in my kitchen sink. The house is old and there was a grease pit some place on my property. Since I didn't know where the workers closed the pipe and made a new route for the sink to drain into the sewer. It took as long as predicted and it was even less than the estimated cost. So perfect! Everything was cleaned before the workers left. Everything was professionally completed. Thanks!! I will definitely use this company if anything ever needs more plumbing fixes.

Manny & Omar showed up within the window you said they would.
They were polite and professional.
They worked well as a team, they knew what they were doing, and had all the parts and tools they needed.
I hope they didn't mind, but I watched as they worked.
They answered the questions I asked.
I like how well they soldered joints.
You charged me what you estimated. Your price was reasonable.
You and they did what I asked for and more.
I couldn't be more pleased. Great service.
WARNING! Do not trust this company. They will charge you AFTER they do the work and then threaten to put a lien on your property!
I called them for an estimate for a repair on my sewer line. I provided video, photos and report of a scope done the week before.
When they showed up, I was told they needed to scope the line in order to provide an estimate without telling me there would be a charge. AFTER a scope was done, I was told there was a $350 charge!
I was then told if I hired them within 24 hours of paying, they would deduct the cost of the scope from the work but I only had 24 hours to make a decision.
I called to discuss the issue of not being informed about the charges before they performed the scope. The owner became irate and insisted he told me on the phone there was a charge, he did not, if he had, I would not have had them do an estimate.
He proceeded to threaten me with a lien on my property.
There are plenty of good plumbers in the area that have great ethics and integrity and are nice - do yourself a favor and call someone else!
BTW - Two other companies came, did scopes, and provided estimates with NO CHARGE.

Greg Hannah was recommended to me, and as I have been sitting on a non-emergency plumbing issue, I decided to give them a call.
I scheduled an appointment about a week and a half out. On the morning of the appointment, I received a call about 30 minutes prior to the appointment time that they would be unable to come to my home that day. This is understandable, as I wasn't experiencing an emergency. I was told that I would receive a call back to reschedule. This call back never happened.
About a week later, the water pressure in my home became very weak, so I called Greg Hannah Plumbing to reschedule, letting them know I was experiencing a serious issue now. I was rescheduled for the following morning.
The next day, I received a call that the technician was on his way, about 30 to 60 minutes out. He never came. I never received another call from him or the company. When I called a few days later, I asked to leave a complaint, and I was told Greg would return my call to discuss. Instead of the principal of the company calling me, I received a call from the technician that he would be leaving for my house in 10 to 15 minutes. This was about three days after he was supposed to come. I informed him that no one was home, and I was disappointed in how this was handled. He told me, Well, I thought someone had contacted you to let you know I was no longer coming the other day. I told him that no one had.
Long story short - either these guys are too busy to handle the amount of appointments they schedule, or my job was not deemed lucrative or important enough to show up for. No matter - I won't be using them in the future.
We had a small emergency pipe leak on a Saturday evening, and Greg Hannah Plumbing was on it! They were prompt, friendly, reasonably priced and professional. Andy took the time to explain everything and was a super nice guy. We definitely recommend them!
I have worked with Greg Hannah plumbing for three big projects. The first was a couple years ago for a flood remediation system. This spring when others had water in their basement, mine was dry. Excellent attention to detail. Most recently they replaced all the drains in my two flat, then they replaced the old galvanized pipes with copper. They took the time to make sure and answer all of my questions and made sure I was happy with the results. I would highly recommend Greg Hannah Plumbing.

Had someone come over do a quote look around was in for 10 minutes didn't even leave a card . Was suppose to show up at 1p showed up at noon.
Then when we called 2x for a quote we never got a response or a quote
This was for flood control
Horrible customer service
At 5:30 p.m. we had a radiator valve start leaking water in a way that could not be stopped without turning off our water and our furnace (in the middle of January). We called Greg Hannah plumbing, and Greg Hannah himself answered the phone. Within 30 minutes he had a technician at our place, and within an hour the problem was fixed in a creative McGiver type manner. We had only just had one other prior experience with Greg Hannah Plumbing, but they treated us like customers who had been doing business with them for years, and certainly we plan to do so.
Greg Hannah was absolutely great to work with! They were able to retrieve a snake rod that a previous plumber had left stuck in my sewer pipe. He not only obtained the building permit but also excavated in front of my house to get the rod out so my basement wouldn't flood again. Little did we know, the rod was stuck on 23 feet of root!! He sent me pictures and cleaned out my sewer pipe from the blockage of roots. As a busy full time nurse who isn't available during the day, Greg still completed the job, was reliable throughout the day, was great at returning phone calls, and was always on time. Greg and his professional plumbers were able to fix my unfortunate plumbing problem as a first time home owner at an affordable price. Everything was fixed very quickly, thank you so much! I highly recommend Hannah's plumbing to anyone!
Today GHP arrived at my home to repair a Delta single handle shower control that had been leaking and not controlling temperature correctly. Ed the technician assess my needs and he was thankful that I had the shower control manual so determining the part number was assured. Ed then went to obtain the correct part and returned about 45 minutes later. It took Ed just 15 minutes to install the new cartridge and fine done the controller. Ed was a friendly, engaging and thorough. He had me check the performance of the controller which now worked better than it ever had. This was my first time using GHP and it won't be my last. A totally positive experience in every possible way.

I hired Greg Hanna Plumbing about 2 months ago for a new hot water heater and to redo the mess of plumbing for our laundry tub and the hot/cold hook-ups for the clothes washer. GHP were easy to communicate with and someone answered the phone when I called, the 2 technicians that came out for the install were professional and very knowledgeable, they were offering a good price and were quick to come out and install the new water heater. We are very pleased with everything and would not hesitate to use GHP again for any plumbing needs.
UPDATE 12/21: Hired Greg Hannah Plumbing again this time to install a new garbage disposal and to redo the mess of leaky drainage pipes under the kitchen sink. They came over when scheduled, did the work in a timely and professional manner and now we have a functioning garbage disposal. Very pleased! Thanks GHP
Very pleased with Greg Hannah's guys. We had a kitchen pipe break last season, and Greg's crew was on it--professional and competent. Thanks for getting us up and running; the dishes were starting to pile up! Glad we found Greg Hannah's service.
This company recently did a complete repipe of my home. I am beyond pleased with their work. They were all very respectful and considerate. Since they did have to go through several walls. They did the work in a timely manner and were honest about the time it would take to complete the job. I am a new homeowner, so a bit nervous about a big job like this. They definitely eased my nerves and I would recommend their service to anyone.
Woke up to no hot water on a Saturday. Called Greg and he had one if his guys (Ed) out within 90 minutes. Ends up, our 28-year old water heater finally bit the dust. Ed was able to install a brand new one, same day--he did a phenomenal job, was courteous and cleaned everything up when finished. We've had Greg and his team out on numerous occasions for jobs from putting in a sewer line backup valve to changing a faucet, to now installing a water heater. Each and every time, they did a great job. Highly recommend Greg and his team!
These guys are extremely unreliable. When they didn't show up the day they promised, the owner passed it off on the tight labor market, saying that his guys know they can simply not show up because there isn't anyone available to replace them. The work they eventually did redoing the plumbing wall was good, however they then sent in a different crew to set the tub. The head of this crew bragged about his 29 years of plumbing experience and spent about 2.5 hours setting the tub. He was about to leave when I asked if he tested it. He said he didn't because he didn't know the water was turned on. WTF? Really? I told him that even if it wasn't I would think that he could have filled up a 5-gallon bucket with water and poured it down the drain, but then again, I'm no plumber, so perhaps that's conjecture. We went up and tested the tub and the connection under the tub leaked terribly. He then spent another two hours trying to correct, and busted the pin connecting the drain cap in the process. He then went to Home Depot to buy a new one. He came back, installed it, and rather than call me up to inspect the job he snuck out, hopped into his van and drove off. I went up and saw immediately it was clearly the wrong pin. Rather than deal with them I called Algor who said they would give me a new one at no charge.
When I went to set the tile the following weekend I discovered the tub was nowhere near level from left to right, off over 1/2 over the 30 width. After REPEATED attempts to get them back out to correct this they finally came when I threatened to contest the charge on my credit card.
In summary - you might get good work out of these guys - assuming you get the right crew, and they decide to come to work that day. I think you are better off looking elsewhere.
We've used these guys 4 times over the past 2 years and they are very professional. They always call to let me know when they are on their way. I've always received same day service. They are a bit pricey, but I think the service is worth the price.
Recently, I called them because my bathtub faucet wasn't shutting off and they came by to let me know I just had a broken faucet handle. The worker was here about 25 minutes and didn't charge (because it was something I easily could've fixed myself, Doh!). In the past they've replaced a rusted pipe and fixed a leaking drain (one time it took 2 visits for one job).
Thank you Greg Hannah Plumbing!

I recently had to use them two times in as many weeks. Great service and guys. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is the water heater ad on their site stated one thing, then I was told it is not valid on a Saturday (which was NOWHERE stated on their site). I did not appreciate that.
Plus now I have no water pressure in the kitchen which is one of the things I had called them for week one.
I wanted to get my entire home repiped with copper piping. I got three other quotes that were all almost twice the amount I was quoted from Hannah's Plumbing. I kept trying to figure out what the catch was. There was no catch. They did everything the other guys promised to do at a fraction of the price. The two day job lasted two days. They were on time each day. Did a great job cleaning up after themselves. The price they quoted was the price I paid. They didn't try to add anything on.
Overall, I was very pleased and would recommend them to a friend.
I have used GHP for both repairs at my house and recently for a kitchen remodel, they did all the new plumbing, we moved it from one side of the kitchen to the other. New drains, vents, gas lines, etc. The guys are very professional and work diligently. Greg came over a few times to oversee the work and ensure it was done correctly. One of the gas lines was just a few inches high, I noticed this when putting my sub floor down, I called, and somebody was here in 30 minutes and it was fixed in another 15 minutes.
If you have a need for plumbing repairs or a major new project, I recommend Greg Hannah Plumbing.

This was the second time they had to come out in a year and a half to ride out my pipes I asked him to call me before he did the work did to work anyways cuz my neighbor in the back we share the same pipe had to leave him three messages before he finally called me back he denied that he got my messages and claimed that he called me which I never received needless to say he advertises rotting out for $199 on his website with outside access which he did have and he did it for the outside and sent the bill for $525 total rip-off would never use him again when I asked him about the work that was done Greg himself told me next time call somebody else and hung up on me be very aware of this guy I think he got too big for his britches
Classic case of where a company takes advantage of the situation. I was renting this home and my renters met with the plumber because I was out of town on both occasions which I'll get into now. On 4/16/18 Greg Hannah Plumbing was called because the basement toilet and shower were backing up due to a clog. The owners business was listed as one block away from me so I thought this would be a quick solution for my tenants. They assessed the clog went straight to hydrojetting. Charged $1080. On 1/4/19 the same issue returned. I called and they came by and said they said there was a heavy clog. Well why wasn't this taken care of before? My renters were planning on buying the house so they wouldn't flush anything but toilet paper down the toilet. They resorted to the deal(hydrojetting) again and charged $1000. Guess what? The same issue returned again May of 2019! There was no way I would call Greg Hannah Plumbing ever again in my life. I already paid this business $2080. I used a different plumbing service and met the owner at the house. He showed me via cameras what was going on. All they had to do was ROD the line and remove the sludge. What Greg Hannah plumbing did with the hydrojetting job was not fully clear the drain and charge an arm and a leg. Don't get me wrong Hydrojetting is expensive for any plumber but Greg Hannah Plumbing didn't put full effort to rod the line. They automatically went to the most expensive option. The other plumber charged $325 for rodding and haven't had any issues since. The line is still clear till this day as I had a plumber friend check the line with a camera. I would never recommend anyone to use Greg Hannah Plumbing as there are a plenty of other plumbers in this area especially the one I used for the rodding job!
I've used them twice. The first time was to replace the tub handle in my bathroom. The guy came out, opened the wall in the closet by the bathroom, and installed it. It continues to work beautifully, but he left the opening in my closet. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and assumed:
1. He needed to create the new opening instead of using the existing panel directly below to swap out the fixture.
2. I should have explicitly asked them about repairing any holes he needed to make.
So I used them again earlier this year. I initially wanted to get a high-efficiency water heater because I'm all about eco-friendliness. Well after a couple of conversations with the owner who assured me there was no real benefit to installing one with the additional expense of the appliance, and the minimal benefit of efficiency. I had another conversation with Ed who came out to view the fixture, discussed my needs, and even told him about my chimney liner issue, I said sure- I'll try this again. They were great about being prompt and finished the project according to code, which was great. But now I find myself needing to replace the water heater I bought in January with the power vent I initially wanted courtesy of the chimney liner issue I'd spoken with Ed about! The entire interaction leaves me feeling like they either aren't comfortable with installing Power Vent Heaters or they benefit more financially from selling the more traditional heaters. Regardless, I refuse to give them any more money.
We had the unfortunate discovery of water leaking through our basement ceiling from our first floor bathroom. They had someone out next day. The two guys worked quickly to try to identify what was the issue. They were upfront about the cost- ie how much we were in for when they started putting holes in the ceiling. Turns out it was just a bad toilet seal. They were up-front about how much it costs to fix that before doing it. They worked quickly to repair and then cleaned up (most of the) mess. We also got some on-the-fly advice about our plumbing system and how it may be affected by the large tree in our back yard. The cost was exactly as quoted and we payed when work was complete. I will use them again in the future.
Nobody likes to have to call a plumber, but when disaster strikes I highly recommend you call Greg. We had him replace our tankless water heater and he came out within 30 minutes to assess the problem. Simply amazing. He ordered what we needed and quoted us a really fair price. His employees are neat and courteous and he always calls back as promised.
We had another separate issue with our shower not delivering any cold water. Sounds nice in theory, until you're standing in scalding water. Greg came out on a Saturday within 30 minutes and spent some time troubleshooting. He didn't try to sell us parts we didn't need but told us what he would order, ordered it, installed it when the parts came in and we're happy and back in business again.
I'm very happy to have found Greg because you can really tell he is an honest caring guy who will do good work at a fair price.
I used Hannah's at the end of August to clear out my sewer line. They asked my when I would like someone to come out. I said the earliest possible-- they sent someone on Sunday and charged me DOUBLE what it would have cost if they came on Monday-- WITHOUT TELLING ME THERE IS AN EXTRA WEEKEND CHARGE. Now, my sewer line is backed up again and they won't guarantee their work saying tree roots grow quickly... not 6 weeks quickly! They didn't do good work the first time. Now they won't stand behind their work and on top it, they aren't calling us back. Essentially, they are overpriced and unprofessional.
The person that took my call and set up my appointment was polite. Ed was friendly and explained the issue with my options. If another plumbing issue comes up I will definitely call Greg plumbing.
I called on the weekend about a concern and was delighted that the owner picked up the phone. He talked me through all the different possibilities of the issue. I scheduled to have one of his tech's come out to see me today, 9/27/17. Ed arrived on time and was fabulous about trouble-shooting what may be causing the issues. He was like a detective and really went through every possibility. Delightful. Ed really knows his stuff and I'm glad Greg could get him here today. We solved the issue. I did use my 10% off Angie's coupon and was very impressed. So great to get a knowledgeable person the first time and solve the issue. I will use Greg Hannah Plumbing again. Thank you!
Great company, good prices, fast service!!!
We called to a plumbing emergency and had a crew over within an hour, 30 minutes after that, problem solved!!!
We would definetely use them again!!
I've used Hanna Plumbing 3 times. The first time went great. The second time was not so great. He tried to rod my sewer lines couldn't get through and still charged me over $400. The next day a competitor came over and was through the line within 30 minutes. I still had enough faith in the company to call when my sump pump went out. They were at my house within 3 hours, replaced the pump and were gone in an hour. I wish the cost was less...I paid $465. These guys do good Plumbing work. If you need or want warm and fuzzy go somewhere else. If you want a great plumber call these guys. I highly recommend Hanna Plumbing.
Honest, responsive, excellent service, very fair prices. I had an unusual leaking problem under my kitchen sink. Although it took a while, they fixed it quickly and were very helpful. I highly recommend.

I've used Hannah's plumbing several times over the past six years for a variety of jobs. Everything from installing a toilet, to repairing/replacing leaking pipes, to rodding our main sewer line. I have been completely satisfied with every job. Their staff is friendly, professional and competent, and most importantly does the job right the first time.
Hannah's price is reasonable, but not the cheapest you'll find. For sewer rodding, I could have saved $50 going with another local company, but they averaged a 1.5-star yelp rating. To me it's worth the extra $50 to have peace of mind and the job done right.
In sum, use these guys. You won't be disappointed. And also check their website, where they periodically post coupons.
Great company and excellent work. Andy and Isaac are the best and highly recommend them for your plumbing needs.

I had a plumbing emergency over the weekend and luckily found some awesome reviews for Greg Hannah's Plumbing on angieslist so I decided to give them a try. During a rainstorm, the drains in my basement were backing up with sewer water (gross) and it was getting all over my basement floor.
I spoke with Greg on the phone and he indicated he might be able to get his guy (Mark) over quickly. Yay! He and Mark called right back and sure enough - Mark and his crew were over within 20 minutes. I couldn't have been more shocked or thrilled.
Mark and his two guys were very friendly and got right down to business running their machine down the line, finding roots and whatnot. We had someone do this a few years ago but apparently that other place had NOT done their job because Mark found roots that were well over 2 years worth.
Despite some problems with their machine, they performed their work quickly and well and we were extremely pleased with every bit of their service - from professionalism to price. Will definitely use them again - for all our plumbing needs.
Cant say enough good things about Greg Hannah Plumbing. We have had several plumbing issues this last year and they are professional, do their job well, and don't try to rip you off (they just left from a visit they decided not to charge me for. who does that?!?!) you won't be disappointed with them.
These guys came out same day and fixed a problem that alan-e-power quoted at almost double their price!! They were very polite, thorough, and explained everything to me before they did it. We are impressed with the service and they even cleaned up when they were done! We will definitely use them again!

I recently had a water heater go out at midnight on Friday night (great timing). Water was all over the basement floor so I was in a panic. I did not have a regular plumber so I contacted some big box stores from their websites and left messages for some local plumbers. The big box stores had an installation partner contact me with complete packages which seemed to be over priced and taking advantage of your situation. Some plumbers wanted to charge time and a half because it was Saturday. Greg from Greg Hannah's called me back in a few minutes, quoted a lower price than the big box stores and said he could have someone out within the hour. The installer was Mike who did a great job and cleaned up the area. The price charged was exactly what was quoted. By noon Saturday I had hot water and less stress. I will be contacting Greg Hannah's for any future plumbing needs.
Very accommodating, great work! Will use again for rental properties. Worked around tenants work schedule. Much appreciated.
I can't say enough good things about the excellent service I've received from Greg Hannah Plumbing in the two times I've needed their help. Back in December 2015 my daughter had a plugged up kitchen drain that I was unable to clear up. Turns out we had serious air venting issues as the vent pipe coming up from the basement was disconnected from the pipe going up to the roof. A portion of the vent pipe needed to be replaced as well as both the kitchen and laundry drains. Greg's crew did an excellent job. We were very pleased with the results of their repair.
I called Greg again in August 2016 as both my kitchen and basement sinks were clogged. In my attempt to unclog the kitchen sink after pouring boiling hot water into the drain the pipes
under the sink started to leak. Greg sent out Gary and Tony to work on my issue. They quickly unclogged my basement drain and needed to replace the kitchen drain.
After the repairs were made both of those drains are draining better than they have for years. Another excellent job and we are very pleased with the results of that repair.
While he was here I also asked Gary to take a look at my flood control that was done back in 2006, we were having that sewer gas smell in our basement for quite a while and I needed to
take care of it. The flood control was improperly installed and needed to be removed. In 2 days the job was done, replaced by a back water valve and properly inspected by the city, best of all no more sewer gas smell in my basement. I'm extremely satisfied with the work that was done in all cases and whole heartily recommend Greg Hannah Plumbing. They take no shortcuts, you may pay a little more but it's worth it for a job well done.
Did good work, showed up when they said they would. Had no problems at all. Greg the owner very nice.
I'm not easily pleased, but I'm very pleased with Hannah's Plumbing. Greg (the owner) is working the job or at least involved, making certain all the work is done correctly. On several urgent occasions Greg has come quickly to assess situations and find remedies. I respect his knowledge and his professionalism. What more can I ask?

I called Greg Hannah Plumbing last night after I returned home to find my hot water heater had been leaking and needed to be replaced. They were able to send someone within a few hours to fix the issue, and they were in and out in less than an hour! The individuals were extremely polite and super quick. I would STRONGLY recommend these guys for any plumbing issues!
