The water in my kitchen sink started backing up. I called a few places. Most were booked solid for days. One Source Plumbing And Rooter had an opening the next day in the morning.

I checked in via text and Mo confirmed the appointment. He texted me when he was on his way. He came on time and got to work.

Unfortunately Mo could not clear the clog. That in itself is not the problem. He did not charge me. He explained to me that the next step would probably involve working in the garage to undo the pipes and try to get at the clog from there. He even drew a diagram to show me where the clog is.

In the end it seemed he was running late on time. He suggested I could possibly make another appointment or try another plumber.

Okay fair. I understand that he was not prepared for more involved work, and probably had other appointments.

After I came back to the kitchen I noticed he left a screw driver and dirty towels in my sink. Okay, whatever not a big deal. But when I looked inside the kitchen sink cabinet, I saw black stains everywhere. This must have happened when he was working and the water was backing up and spraying everywhere. He did briefly wipe the floor and the cabinet before he left, but that didn't do the job. I spent the next hour wiping and trying to buff out the stains.

Honestly, I am not sure how one goes about protecting the cabinet when doing this kind of work. But I am not a plumber. Once dirty water like this hits any un-laminated rough or semi-rough surface, it's not possible to get rid of the stains. The truth is I have generic builder grade cabinets. But what if I had expensive new cabinets?

I can see why most of the reviews are great. Maybe it was just bad luck. A bad day all around.

The plumber that came after him, did manage to clear the clog. He did in fact get at the clog from the garage. When working in my unit, he used those industrial 50G plastic trash bags to completely cover the inside of the cabinet and the floor. When the black dirty water started spilling again, it went right into the bag without staining anything. In my garage he connected a hose to the water heater and hosed down the entire area where he worked. It was cleaner than before he started.

So grateful to these folks for coming out the same day to replace our busted water heater. We were without hot water for less than 18 hours. They were very professional and courteous and made a difficult situation so much easier!  Thanks so much!

No response. Confused and disappointed with the unprofessionalism. Called another plumber. Got everything fixed the next day.

Hi Neighbors, I just want to give my highest recommendation to Buri Buri Plumbing. Last week we had a whole house plumbing backup. I called my insurance company whose contractor declined to help us out because the job because it was too unsanitary. In desperation, I called Buri Buri Plumbing. They were super busy that day, late on a Friday but somehow made time for me. The technician figured out a solution, actually engineered a way to solve what has been in the past a VERY messy problem (i'll spare you the details) without making ANY mess at all, a small miracle! Then he continued to work to completely clear the line clogged with roots for several more hours, well into the evening on a Friday night. He was super conscientious and thorough, and a very nice guy to boot. Nicole who runs the front office couldn't be nicer too. Had an unfortunate accident that broke my toilet and found this company through a friend who recommended them after asking around. I had my new toilet installed by them and it was super quick and cheap, it was installed in just under and hour. I know virtually nothing about plumbing but there service man was kind enough to answer all my pluming questions that weren't even related to installing the toilet. Very friendly and excellent company, would recommend to anyone.

I needed backflow testing and C&L were able to come out the next day and take care of things quickly and easily. While here, Allen made some recommendations that will improve our plumbing and other water-based systems and was really easy to work with and quite helpful. He was professional, patient, and was able to answer any questions we threw at him. I would recommend this business for anything they can provide and will certainly be a repeat customer.

I feel very fortunate to have found Michael.  He is an exceptional professional in every way: knowledgeable, a pleasure to work with, prompt, provides ample information and answers all questions clearly, while providing excellent service at a very reasonable price. He encouraged us to follow up on warranty coverage and in both cases we were sent parts covered by limited lifetime warranties in one case for a part we purchased 15 years ago. If you are concerned about whether he is as good as the Yelp reviews, our experience has been consistent with five star service and as one other review states always a pleasure.

There was no hot water in our tankless water heater at our SF condo.  Niall came out as soon as he could and quickly fixed the issue (igniter failure).  He was quick and professional.  Niall is my go-to plumber in the city!

This interaction worked out perfectly. My initial interaction with Chris was direct and to the point (all through email). John came by to provide a quote (which was acceptable) and the water heater was installed the same day. No fuss, no muss. John did the primary work - he was professional; courteous; and patiently answered questions. His assistant (and I can't remember his name) worked hand-in-hand with John and they finished in no time at all. The water heater works and I've had zero issues with it.

My toilet wasn't flushing. The lever was broken. Ron was punctual, professional, and fixed the issue within a few minutes. I'm a very satisfied customer. Thank you Ron!

Raffi from Shawn Sewer stopped by today to help with a faucet that was way under pressure, I had went out and bought a new facet thinking that would fix the problem, just needed Raffi to install it for me, rather then just installing and going on his way he instead tried to help me out by simply switching out a little filter which solved the problem and saved me tons of money now I can go return that faucet. Completely happy with his professionalism and honesty. Will only go with discount plumbing from now on!
