All the positive reviews are so well-deserved and very reflective of my personal experience with Garry. He's an incredibly capable plumber and quite frankly just an all-around wonderful human being. I recently purchased a condo with underfloor radiant heating, which had quite a bit of crowning/lifting in the kitchen. I planned on addressing it with time, as I'd only purchased the place the week before....but as luck would have it, I ended up not having hot water the moment I moved in. After calling a few plumbers who came in and literally ran away after seeing the state of the building's mechanical room, I came across his glowing Yelp reviews and thought I'd give it a shot. He was able to restore my hot water (albeit briefly, because the problem was and continued to be the sorry state of affairs in said mechanical room), in addition to nearly much being a shoulder for me to cry on. It is actually pretty difficult to find honest people to help you with home stuff, and in your hour of dire need, it can be distressing to not know if you can trust people. Never once did I feel like I was being taken for a ride with Garry. I can't recommend him enough.

Recently had a water leak in my basement at my place here in the Richmond district.

Hydroflow fixed my water heater the same day we found out about the leak. Great service, great work, and great communication!

My water heater had
Broken down and stopped working so i was left without hot running water!I called around a few places but Garry gave me the best estimate which seemed very fair compared to other prices.
It turned out my water heater needed to be replaced
after he looked at it he went off and got a new one and plumbed it in for me with ease.
I was a happy man with a new water heater and hot running water within 24hrs.

If you're looking plumbing services in the San Francisco Bay Area, look no further. It's always stressful when you have an emergent situation like this- worrying about being taken advantage of.. I was referred to Hydroflow by a close friend and was throughly impressed from start to finish. They did an excellent job explaining what my options were for my aging water heater highlighting the pros and cons of repairing versus replacing.  I felt confident in their recommendations and was updated throughout the process. I would absolutely use their services again!

I highly recommend Garry at Hydro-flow.  He quickly diagnosed the issues with our broken boiler, sourced all of the parts, and got our boiler repaired and our heating system up and running.  He is efficient, communicates well, and is clearly both knowledgeable and a good problem solver.  I will definitely call on him for future plumbing needs.

We had a head scratching issue in our condo that Garry and Dennis helped fix, and we are so thankful! We have a hydronic heating system, and every time the heating was active, we would immediately lose hot water to our shower and faucets.

We've been trying to get a hydronic expert to help troubleshoot it, but I must have called over 10 places with no luck. It's so hard to find a business that specializes in hydronics! Dennis came over, ran some diagnostics, and immediately could tell what the issue was: the original installers had a pretty major screw up - the cold return was feeding back into the top of the water heater instead of the bottom. In under 2 hours, he was able to cut, redirect, and weld some pipes, which immediately fixed the issue. In our 3 years of living in this house, we didn't even realize our faucets could get that hot!

I called a few plumbers looking to repair my broken water heater at my rental condo and Garry called me back within minutes. He was upfront with prices and what to expect and how long. He was able to make it out to my rental at a time convenient for me, and showed me exactly why my heater was broken and quickly worked to locate a replacement to get it installed.

Wow wow wow. Couldn't be more grateful!! These guys rock!! I called up Tuesday morning when I found water all over my garage. We have a radiant heat system with multiple pumps and other boxes that I  don't really understand. Garry came out and was able to diagnose the problem relating to our tankless water heater. He offered two options, a fix or a replacement. The part had to be ordered and because of thanksgiving coming up and the age of the boiler we decided to upgrade. Garry made it happen and picked up a new water heater that evening and had it installed the next day! Needless to say- they saved thanksgiving!!

I was surprised how fast they got here after I called. I discovered my hot water heater died at 3 PM, I called right away, and was back with hot water by 6 PM. You cannot beat that.

I could not  believe he did not already have a Yelp site but I was impressed enough by his work to create this one.

This was my first experience with Hydroflow.  My two separate radiant heating systems are only about 3 years old, but one of them seems to require a bit more attention than the other.  I didn't have the contact info of the original installer, and even so I didn't have a whole lot of confidence in them to begin with as they were a subcontractor for my overall home remodel.
Getting in touch with Garry was a bit hit and miss, but I expected that as I contacted Hydroflow over the Xmas holiday.  He responded to my phone message via text, which made it pretty easy to get all of the info I needed to make an appointment.
Dennis came out on the Saturday before Xmas and flushed and pressurized both of my radiant heating systems.  He showed me what to do so I could do it myself next time and made some recommendations to help keep the system charged.  In about 2 hours, he was done and the system was ready to go.
I will definitely use them again for routine maintenance and upgrades to my existing system.

Best water heater company ever!!

Hydroflow were working on a radiant heat system next door to my house about a week ago, the guys had always said hello and been super polite working so we had a good informal repor.  
So leaving the house one afternoon i met garry the owner, we chatted about the waterheater in my house.Our water heater was having issues- some we were aware of (small leaks and brownish water problems) others we didnt realize (how slow it was to reheat the water) till we replaced it.  I don't know the first thing about boilers or waterheaters, but the owner garry simply laid out the problems and explained both what was wrong and an options to fix it. He seemed extremely fair and walked me through all the steps and never even tried to sell me anything...gosh!! so refreshing!!

My water heater was ten years old,out of warranty and an eye sore from the previous installer. Garry gave me a breakdown of what was involved to replace, a time line and price. $1450, i did check his price against others that evening when i got back home and realised he was very, very fair considering his expertise, i rang three other companies two of them were more expensive but all three were trying to push me so hard i decided i wanted to deal with a plumber and not a sales man.
i've read  so many bad tales about companies installing waterheaters and boilers wrong  that i was hesitant but now i was trusting my gut.
The  next day i rang hydroflow, got talking to garry and just booked them in for the following day.
They arrived on time, beautiful installation, the new water heater is more silent, more efficient and yes clean water!!!!!! i was so happy i tipped the guys $100... a small price to pay for peace of mind, a great job done and still so much cheaper than some of the big brand companies that are so informal!!
Hydroflow have somthing that other plumbing companies lack, integrity!

Garry identified and fixed an annoying clanking noise in our radiant heat. It was an incredibly non-obvious valve timing issue, which other repairers couldn't find. Thanks!

Gary can be relied upon to do a great job efficiently and well.  He installed a radiant heat system for us that is working perfectly.  His crew is friendly, professional, and did everything to pass city inspections and make our space warm.  Five stars might not be enough.

After my water heater died and flooded my garage, I called a company that promised to show up and then never came.  They  made me wait nearly all day for nothing,  Then, at mid-afternoon, I called Garry at GD.  He quoted me a very fair price on a new water heater and had guys out to my house in Pacifica within an hour or so.  The guys were very efficient and they got the job done quickly.  I would recommend this company to anyone in a similar situation.
