D & H Electric is amazing!   They were recommended by a close friend of mine and I must say I couldn't be happier with the work done in my home in Aptos.  Armando is highly skilled, respectful, professional and a master at his craft.  I had him upgrade the electrical for our master bath remodel and add several additional breakers to our panel.  His attention to detail (clean & organized wire routing), great work ethic, cleanliness of workspace and job site, excellent communication skills and punctual for all his commitments with us make him our new go to guy for electrical work!  I highly recommend Armando and D & H Electric for you next job.  I promise you won't be disappointed!

We needed a GFCI outlet installed in our bathroom. It is so hard to get an electrician to take the smaller jobs! We reached out on Yelp, were in contact  hours later, and the next day had our outlet installed. And he did amazing beautiful work.

Max came out to our house on short notice, was very nice and thoroughly went through our a/c system to find out what was wrong. He did not rush the diagnostic,  presented a few options to fix our issues and told us he'd be providing different estimates depending on our budget and what route we want to take. We appreciated him taking his time to do a thorough check and giving honest answers to our questions. The fee for the check was also reasonable. Thank you Max.

I'm sorry this review is so late. In September 2020 we decide to have a whole house standby generator installed. We called several companies. Most were busy and wouldn't come out for an estimate. The first company was called to setup an estimate, the reply was he would call right back, but didn't. He would finally give us an estimate at twice the estimate from Stallings Electric. Stalling's came out and gave us a fair price. Our project was difficult because our power supply and gas supply were on opposite sides of our house. We ordered the generator. Once it was delivered, Stallings came out poured the conreate pad, let it dry, and did the installation, in one day. We are very happy with the end product.

Darius and his team are great!

If we had another electrical project, I would call Darius and skip other estimates.

After taking estimates from four electricians, we asked Darius to rewire a number of overloaded circuits, power our garage, and remove our old knob-and-tube. It ended up being an almost complete rewire job for a good deal less than some of the partial estimates.

Start to finish, the job was quick and took as long as Darius expected. The final price was surprisingly close to the initial estimate. There were a handful of small additions of ours as the work progressed and a few points where Darius suggested small changes. The changes were all for the better with minimal impact to the overall project timeline/budget.

I can't recommend Darius enough.

The outlets in my bedroom (which would function only with a light switch) went out a few months ago and I put off calling an electrician. Then my garbage disposal stopped working so I put out a request for an electrician at 7:30pm - Ken was the first to respond (in under 20 mins) and was willing to come tonight. Ken was at my door in less than an hour from my first request. Originally, he left within 15 mins because we thought he fixed/addressed everything. But within a few mins the outlets stopped working. He then drove back to my house (after 9pm on a Monday) to finish the job. Ken was able to locate the problem outlet and even do a lil rewiring to ensure my outlets worked without the need of a light switch. In less than 3 hours Ken was able to confirm time slot, identify the issues, and fix them. I would recommend in a heart beat.

Lex not only was the best electrician, but he was a kind human being.

Background story: we purchased a home built in the 1960s and renovated with a low life GC named, Mike. He took all our money and promised us a newly renovated home. But what he left us was a house of horrors. The electrical wires were spliced, connected incorrectly, hanging in the crawl space underneath water pipes- which COULD have been disastrous if a rodent chewed on the wires and had water dripping on them, one of us would have been electrocuted!

We were lucky enough to have been introduced to Lex who explained these issues to us. We had no idea about these issues because we never checked the crawl space! Lex was able to fix all the loose hanging cables in our crawl space, he checked our attic, and main panel too. He gave us a fair estimate AND completed within the said time frame of the project.

We slept much better that night knowing that we had an actual professional, who cared about our safety and not just the dollar amount to make sure that our house was safer.

10/10 would recommend Lex for any home improvement, business upgrade, or if you just need a second opinion!

I've known Robert since he did the electrical for our bathrooms remodel with a high end build and design firm, about 12 years ago. From that moment on, Robert has been our go-to electrician, and I've referred numerous friends to them as well.  Robert and Sebastian are simply the best!  They get everything done perfectly, quickly, and they are always in a great humor and fun to be around. As well, Robert has spotted and corrected several issues on our home while he was here doing something completely else. Mysterious flickering walkway lights that would go on and off...but only when it rained? Problem solved. Light switch that seemed overly warm to the touch? Circuit was overloaded---fixed it in 25 minutes. He and Sebastian are loved by designers, and can figure out solutions to tricky design issues.  Our just-finished kitchen remodel came out beautifully, and the whole thing was painless.  We wouldn't use anyone else.

Awesome service, only one of three to answer my phone call on a Saturday morning, I wasn't home when he arrived early, waited for me with no irritation, friendly, came in and solved the problem right away, no complaints.

It was time to bring our 1941 house electricity up to code with grounded wires, GFCI outlets, and circuit breakers to replace the old fusebox that was located in a hallway closet. Ronda and Geoff were terrific from start to finish - Ronda was incredibly responsive and easy to schedule, and Geoff is indeed a master electrician - dare I say, an electricity artisan. Electricity is truly his passion, and he approaches it with the respect, determination, and awe of a religious mystic. Our work was completed in no time (along with some excellent bonus recommendations - like additional lighting in our garage, who knew?!) and on budget, with a generosity of spirit and craftsmanship that we really appreciated. The work passed inspection without a hitch (it was clear the guy was familiar with Geoff's work), and we now have our house grounded in the modern world.

After 4 houses in three states, we have dealt with a lot of contractors--Bay Electric is one of the best that we have ever worked with.  We hired them to install recessed lighting, and outlets outside the house.  Kevin showed up early, with three other people, 3 equipment vans, and they went right to work.  They kept the space incredibly clean--they took off their shoes when they entered the house and put up plastic sheeting around the entire room to protect dust from getting on the future and wall hangings.  After we previously told him we wanted warmer LED lights, he found the warmest lights for installation, and they are perfect.  We will be hiring Bay Electric for all electrical needs in the future.

Mark was professional, fair priced and very concerned to meet my needs.  His work was great, his attitude friendly and professional.  I plan on using Mark for all my future electrical needs, I recommend him to you.
