Gonzalo is terrific! He responded quickly to our phone call and when he arrived he was extremely helpful and professional. He's come to our house twice and both times communicated well by text to give us his arrival time. He answered all our questions about general electrical needs for our house as well as some specific concerns we had. We feel so lucky to have found such a great electrician!

Max made it clear I was in good hands right away, coming out in the evening on short notice and identifying the issues with my HVAC after a thorough inspection, talking me through along the way. Came back the next morning and fixed everything, talking me through the options as he cleaned/replaced parts. No upsell, no bull, just options. Would highly recommend his services to all!

Very pleased that I hired MEL electric for some work needing done in my old home.  Everyone I interacted with was very professional and nice.  Upgraded a fuse panel and had some random electrical work tacked on. Definitely recommend them and I'll be calling on them again for the next electrical upgrades and fixes.

We just had Dave Stallings and a crew member come and install a new electrical panel to replace an old Zinsco panel which is known to be a fire hazard.  Initially I had contacted them to put in a new GFCI outlet up in a bathroom.  While on their website I noticed a warning about these old electrical panels and the issues with possibly not tripping, causing fires.  After Googling it and reading more about the problems, we decided to have Stallings Electric install a new panel.  They also put in the new GFCI outlet in the upstairs bathroom.  We were very impressed with their competence, friendly demeanor and reasonable rates.  They're going to come back and add a separate circuit just for our microwave.  And any electrical work we might need beyond that we'll be calling Stallings Electric.  Awesome business!

Darius and his helper installed a new main electrical panel and generator switch in our 78 year old Piedmont house. He was one of three people that bid on the job. His solution was elegant and maintained the classic look of our home. Other contractors bid higher and had somewhat half baked proposals. I'm an Electrical Engineer and rather picky when it comes to electrical work on my house.

Darius arrived promptly on the scheduled date at 8 AM and said the job would take four hours. I was skeptical that the job could be completed so quickly. He was in and out in slightly over four hours. The job site was totally cleaned up and the placement of the exterior electrical boxes was neat and clean. No more bids next time....I'm only calling Darius.

Side note: After researching our 1960's Federal Pacific main panel on the internet and talking to the Piedmont building department, I was convinced that the panel could be defective and cause a fire at any time. If your main panel is made by Federal-Pacific google search it and then call Darius.

Wish I could give 6 stars!  Called Tony at 8:00 am.  As promised, he arrived same day at 10:30 am (texted while en route).  Did some troubleshooting and all was fixed by 11:30 am.  Tony is the BEST electrician I have come across in 30 years...communicative, punctual, professional, licensed, honest, knowledgeable, thorough, efficient and clean.

Yesterday I called bunch of guys to try to get an electrician, Hormoz Came in the same day and diagnose the problem even though it was pretty difficult he was able to figure out a way to get electricity through my outlets. I am a contractor That has good reviews with Yelp and I can see why it's worth it to have two contractors that are honest like this guy he would be highly recommended for the projects in the future

Fuse Electrical installed an EV wall connector for us.  I only have good things to say about them.  That includes their scheduling, estimation,  inspection coordination, and installation teams.  I find them to be very prompt, professional, courteous, and creative.  You wouldn't go wrong with hiring them.

The other day I heard a fuse blow while using our garbage disposal. My husband and I tried to fix it and we couldn't get it to turn back on. The fuse was connected to our big appliances in the the kitchen so we were stressing out. I called Ken and he tried to help me over the phone to fix the problem. We couldn't get it to work and within 15 minutes Ken came to the rescue. Our electrical set up was an ordeal and Ken was awesome and fixed the shit show for us. He socially distanced and wore a mask. He followed up a few days later and brought a blank cover outlet for our garage.
We will definitely use him again in the future. Thanks Ken!

I would like to thank lex for coming out in such short notice and helping me out. We had a short circuit and he was very responsive and fast and efficient. I needed some electrical work in a cranky old 40s vintage home. I thought I'd get quotes from a couple of licensed contractors. Robert stood out because he came when he said he would, and offered some thoughtful solutions that saved me a few bucks.

Work-wise, everything was done tidily. It came in on-time and on-budget, which was a relief.

I plan on calling them for the next wave of work.

Behram is a great electrician! I wanted to install 40 amp circuit for car charger. He came the same day at 5 PM. Started the work with prep work to collect dust and dry wall hole material. I was super impressed with his knowledge and workmanship. Finished the work in less than 2 hours including helping me install the ChargePoint plug-in charger. I'd highly recommend him.

We hired Craig to add outlet in the garage and light outside garage. We were very happy with his work. He is professional and did a good job.

Rhonda and Geoff are great.  Rhonda is prompt at returning calls, and she's incredibly knowledgeable about their work as well as professional, honest/upfront, and accommodating about their workload.  Geoff is a true electrician... he may seem rough around the edges, but he knows his stuff, is efficient and no-nonsense, and he did actually crack a smile at the end of his visit to my home.  :)

Here was my situation... I tried to install a light fixture myself in my daughters' room.  I turned off the appropriate circuit break (as labeled by the previous electrician), but alas, when I went to put in the new fixture, there were two giant sparks, and I blew out the circuit to my girls' room, my bathroom, and my bedroom.  I was VERY concerned about my girls' bedroom re: potential fire, etc.... apparently, the previous electrician mislabeled the circuit breakers, and there was still some current running through the wires I was working with.  (I was very lucky I was uninjured.)  Anyways, due to the safety concern, I called many, MANY electricians in the area, and they all told me they couldn't come for WEEKS.  Not so with Williams Electric!  Rhonda spoke with Geoff, and due to the safety concerns, they fit me in right away, even though his day and upcoming weeks were already packed.  I REALLY, REALLY appreciated this.  Geoff came within 12 hours, ignored the usual pleasantries of intros, etc., and went right to work on the light fixture, circuit, and panel.  He not only got the fixture working, he did some magic with the panel in 10 minutes that got my shorted circuit working again.  He then told me about some deficiencies in my panel (old electrician use wrong kind of breakers), and he was honest about the criticality of changing it (doesn't need to be done right away, but should be done to prevent things like this in future; totally didn't try to sell me or anything). (Then he smiled. :) )

Other things to note:
- Their rate was less than half of what another electrician was quoting me for an emergency call.
- I also love that they are local to my Oakland neighborhood!

Called first thing in the morning, but they were booked and couldn't come out.  Still, they had me send them a picture of the issue.  They diagnosed it, called me back in 10 minutes, and the problem was solved.  Definitely a great experience and outcome.

Mark did a great job!!  He is reliable, responds quickly, has reasonable rates, cleans up after himself, honest, and overall a nice young man!  We will definitely recommend to everyone we know.
