D & H Electric is amazing!   They were recommended by a close friend of mine and I must say I couldn't be happier with the work done in my home in Aptos.  Armando is highly skilled, respectful, professional and a master at his craft.  I had him upgrade the electrical for our master bath remodel and add several additional breakers to our panel.  His attention to detail (clean & organized wire routing), great work ethic, cleanliness of workspace and job site, excellent communication skills and punctual for all his commitments with us make him our new go to guy for electrical work!  I highly recommend Armando and D & H Electric for you next job.  I promise you won't be disappointed!

Recently, our brand new and newly installed luxury Miele dishwasher (the very best and newest model) had a drainage problem. We cleaned the filter out and ran the garbage disposal for a few minutes - but none of the tricks worked.

Sent out a bunch of random Yelp requests for appliance repairs specifically on dishwashers, and Kevin at Fuse reached out quickly and offered to come out the next day. Thanks Yelp for letting us know that they are fully licensed to do this work.

Fuse's team of two - Kevin and Max - texted us they were on the way, took off their shoes (thank you!), and immediately got to work. Took off the wooden panel, unscrewed everything, and began their diagnostic and investigation. After telling us that the drain pipe is clogged by something and us agreeing to their provided estimate of $250 minus 10% military discount, they started taking the pipes and hoses out under the sink to clean. They brought all their tools and bucket.

After three hours, they ran a few tests on the dishwasher, and viola - the water drained! On their initial test, there was a crazy crashing noise that I've never heard before, so they took it all apart again and found a pin in the draining hose - thank goodness I was there while they were running the final tests!

After the job was done, they texted us the invoice, we paid the invoice via Apple Pay, and we received the receipt of payment - all over the phone! What a very efficient and smooth process!

The next day, the office manager or owner, Kevin, called to make sure everything went smoothly. My only concern was the language barrier (Russian) between Kevin/Max and us; as long as we spoke clearly and slowly, they'd let us know that they understood. We told Kevin (who was on the phone with us) that the water drains extremely slowly in our kitchen sink drain, which is completely new to us, and he seemed to not understand what we were trying to explain. Other than the slow kitchen sink drain, they got the job done with the dish washer and that's all that matters to us! We will have to call Kevin or check the kitchen drain ourselves to ensure everything is okay. Thank you.

MEL Electric did a great job rewiring our house, which had old knob-and-tube wiring. Their estimate was detailed and reasonable, their communication and follow-through was top notch, and they finished on time. Matt was pleasant and professional. We were happy with the work and would use them again in a heartbeat.

We just had Dave Stallings and a crew member come and install a new electrical panel to replace an old Zinsco panel which is known to be a fire hazard.  Initially I had contacted them to put in a new GFCI outlet up in a bathroom.  While on their website I noticed a warning about these old electrical panels and the issues with possibly not tripping, causing fires.  After Googling it and reading more about the problems, we decided to have Stallings Electric install a new panel.  They also put in the new GFCI outlet in the upstairs bathroom.  We were very impressed with their competence, friendly demeanor and reasonable rates.  They're going to come back and add a separate circuit just for our microwave.  And any electrical work we might need beyond that we'll be calling Stallings Electric.  Awesome business!

Darius was referred to us by another electrician whom we had contacted because he was one of the first to show up on yelp since he had more reviews.  That guy was too busy for our job and the dozens of other electricians we contacted were too expensive, unresponsive, not available when i needed them, or just plain rude.  I am glad that nobody else worked out though because Darius has been great.  

From the beginning, his demeanor was nice and I could tell he wasn't some slimey contractor who was trying to get over on me.  He gave us a very reasonable quote, was responsive, showed up on time, did a great job, AND even took $300 off the price we were originally quoted since they ended up finishing the work in 6 hours instead of 8!!!! Someone that honest is just unheard of nowadays.  I would highly recommend hiring Darius and we will definitely be using him for any electric work in the future.

Zack and Peter came by my house to repair an attic fan that had gone bad.  They performed the repairs quickly and explained everything they did.  They showed me the broken part and why it had gone bad.  They also went on the roof to make sure there were no problems with the exterior installation, as a safeguard measure.  Additionally, I was having some problems with the doorbell.  They diagnosed the problem, testing the push button, the transformer, and the actual bell that rings.  The bell is the problem, and will have them replace it once I buy one.

Tony is the best. Have had him out for multiple jobs and he's always on time, super knowledgeable and priced reasonably. He's done everything from replacing fixtures, rewiring a panel, adding exterior lights, etc. Easy communication and great service.

I sent a message through Yelp for an electrical issue at my house and Hormoz got back to me right away. From the time I sent the message to the time they came, fixed the issue, and left, it was only about 2 hours! He and his peer were very friendly and informative as they worked on the issue. I am extremely satisfied with the level of service I received today.

My only concern about the services I received today was that service fees were only brought up once the project was done and they were on their way out. It would have been nice if that was made clear up front, but then again I probably should have asked. I still recommend this business, but definitely ask about cost estimates ahead of time if that is something that matters to you.

Ken is amazing.  Our power went out in our basement at 6am, we found Ken on Yelp and he was booked all day, he offered to come to our home in San Francisco at 9pm on a Friday night.  Ken showed up earlier than originally planned. He diagnosed and fixed our problem in about 15 minutes.  Very professional and super nice guy! And all at a reasonable rate!  Have added Ken to my contact list and will call for any electrical needs should we need in the future. Highly recommend.

Lex is professional and installs quickly! He uses the top quality materials, so there's no worry about failure. He informs me of the upfront costs and is obsessed with perfection!

He installed my credit card readers at my store, and went above and beyond by cleaning my machines too hahah.

I've worked with Robert and Sebastian for four jobs. They did a good job for each one. They did a new 90 amp conduit on the roof from my main panel to a sub-panel. It passed inspection with no problems. They cleaned up some wiring for lighting in an eichler for me and made it look much better. They replaced some lights for me as well. Their team has always been very pleasant to interact with, and I've been happy with their work. I'll hire them again.

Bahram gave me a call to advise on a tankless water heater and costs for electrical. He gave me good advice to hold off that would save me because the ROI is just not there at the moment. Thanks Bahram!!

All bathrooms GFCI outlets were not working in the house. Went online and did a quick search for Electrician! Luckily I found the best! Craig from Alpha Electric came all the way from another job in Oakland to San Jose and took care of our outlet problems and more. He was honest and a man of his word. He diagnosed the problem and proceeded with best solution. In addition, he did added work for us by concealing the wires for our mounted TV in the bedroom. His pricing was fair and we would like to make another appointment to have him conceal the wires for our living room TV as well. He is very knowledgeable and experienced in his field. You will be very pleased after he is done with his electrical work around your house! Craig is a legend.

I know it's been 5 years since my initial review, but this actually pissed me off enough for me to patiently wait to make sure any information he gathered was null and void.

Upon leaving a negative review, he THREATENED ME with blackmail if I did not remove it. Our roommates at the time happened to leave their bong out, and he threatened to contact my husband's work to report supposed drug use?? He doesn't even smoke. Geoff went as far as to find my Facebook profile to obtain pictures as further blackmail. He put more effort into this than he did into providing an actual estimate.

But guess what I saved? That email, which I now can share with the rest of you so you can see what kind of person you're allowing into your home.

Mark installed a ceiling fan, with no existing ceiling fixtures. He got the work done quickly, and consulted with me as far as how I wanted the wall switch configured. I am very happy with how the work came out.
