I had a minor problem with my main drain line. I live in the Sunset district in San Francisco, and a lot of the older houses have problems with the drain line and roots breaking the pipes. Paul did a great job of snaking the line to clear the roots and gave us many options in working through the problem. He was very communicative about our options both in the short and long term.
Ultimately we decided to hire him and his team to pull permits, excavate concrete, old pipes, replace them with new pipes, and schedule an inspections with the City. Paul made the experience so seamless and was transparent about the process, timeline, and managed our expectations. The team was done in three days from breaking the concrete, replacing the pipes, scheduling an inspection, and pouring the concrete.
I highly recommend working with him for all projects large and small! While it's true there are many options out there, knowledge and trust are a very rare combination these days. Paul and his team marry both these characteristics and made what is usually a dreadful experience into a high touch process. Thank you to Paul and his team and we really appreciate you!
My kitchen sink decided to basically stop draining and after my own attempts at snaking I decided to get professional help. EPS were responsive through Yelp and provided a reasonable quote. I gave them a rang and they came the next morning. The job turned out harder than anticipated and required multiple snake attempts plus a camera to inspect where this blockage was happening. A few hours later they were successful, honored the quote and my kitchen sink was functional again. EPS were friendly, professional and took care to keep my house clean while they were working.

My shower lost hot water pressure and I was advised that shower cartridge needs to be replaced. I was referred to Expert Plumbing by a friend. Called for a quote and the next day they came in and fixed the shower! The technician was very professional and friendly - he was on time, wore shoe coverings in my home, wiped everything after. Great service, very responsive and attentive. Had a water issue (not emergency), talked to Paul who scheduled for Leo to visit the next day. At the time he also asked if I can do earlier if there is an opening and suggested that Leo might call me to check. Next day indeed Leo called and managed to come in and help me out before our scheduled time. At the time I asked Leo a few other questions and he was very willing to answer them, which I appreciated. They also did not charge me with any fees, since they only took a look and provided advice on how to monitor the problem. A couple days after I have another non-emergency thing come up and reach out to them via message. Not even an hour after my message Leo actually calls me to check what is up and how they can help. Overall very satisfied and will work with them again if anything else comes up.

One year after expert plumbing solutions fixed our water heater it stopped working. We couldn't light the pilot light (which is what we thought the issue was) so we called pg&e to help and they told us it was repaired incorrectly and extremely dangerous. Turns out they punched a hole in it and used a generic part where our specific brand was required. Both pg&e and the plumber that came to fix it today said we were lucky the water heater didn't blow up and start leaking carbon monoxide the way it was. So not only was it a waste of time and $300 but an extreme safety hazard. Very scary.

We were introduced to Leo and Paul by our contractor. They did excellent work installing new and improved pipes in the bottom floor of the house as part of another project. So when our toilet started leaking from the bottom of the tank last night, we knew who to call. Leo came out the next day right on time and it turned out that there were actually several issues that required going to get some parts because the toilet in our rental might be as old as the house (super old) and the parts are hard to find. Not only did he fix that issue, but we forgot to tell him that the toilet has never flushed properly since we moved in and he fixed that too! He also took the time to show us where the main water shutoff valve is in the garage. Paul and Leo are super professional, nice guys who charge reasonable rates. They are definitely our go-to plumbing team.

Leo is amazing .

Every time I use him he's polite
Knows what he's doing . Gets the job done .
Quality like that is hard to find.
My shower was leaking less than an hour later he manages to get the parts and fixes everything not to mention it was a Saturday.
We own a complex in Daly city with many units and every time this guy impresses me more and more. He has fixed probably seven units already and we will definitely use him again.
We have recommended him to others and they couldn't be more thankful.
We got his phone number from the building inspector because he said they were the best.

Prompt, fast, and professional. I'm definitely calling Leo the next time we have any plumbing issues.
We needed some service on four toilets. All four were operational but each had its own issues. Leonid scheduled to come the next day, showed up on time, and got to work. He diagnosed the issues that needed fixes and then told me the price. He spent an hour and a half and the price was reasonable. I trust EPS to handle our plumbing needs.
Quick service! Called them and they had immediate availability. I had flushed a piece of plastic down the toilet by accident and they were able to fix the problem. Thank you so much
Very happy with the service. Contacted Paul late at night via Yelp to fix clogged toilet. Two guys showed up next morning and fixed it within an hour. After the work was done I reserved detailed massage with pictures on what was the problem and what was done to fix it. Great work and clear communication. Price was reasonable as well. Happy I found them.
I first connected with Paul here on Yelp to install a new pressure regulator on my water main as well as hook up a new dishwasher, and was impressed by his promptness, friendliness, and the quality of work he did.
I was so impressed that when I needed to install my new kitchen sink, I didn't bother contacting anyone else. Not only was Paul able to do the job quickly (which also necessitated installing new angle-stops to accommodate a smaller gauge line), he also added another part to make both of our lives easier for a future project.
Today he completed that third job, which entailed running a copper water line from my sink through my cabinets to my new refrigerator, and was done almost before I realized he'd even started.
I don't think that I have any other plumbing projects in the future, but I can rest assured that if I do, I know Paul and the rest of the crew at Expert Plumbing are just a phone call or an email away.

I can echo all the positive reviews below. I got an upfront quote through Yelp's messaging system and an appointment at 9am the following morning. A text message when Paul was on the way, and a prompt arrival. They snaked the drain, charged exactly what was quoted, and they were off! Sort of a dream plumbing situation. Covid safe, masks, etc.
Expert Plumbing Solutions did a fantastic and efficient job for reasonable price. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.
I saved myself a lot of cash, I had a leak after heavy rains and naturally thought it was a roof problem, several roofers gave me quotes, well over $2500, then one guy mentioned it might be a pipe leak, so I called Paul from EPS. He was able to walk me through his troubleshooting process and provided a reasonable quote for what he thought might be causing the problem. Paul then dispatched Victor, who was super professional, came exactly on time and took care of the pipe replacement in no time. I have been waiting for heavy rains again, before leaving the review, and YES the issue was the pipe, I have no more leaks after Paul/Victor fixed it and all the roofers were wrong. I highly recommend them to everybody, and they are local in Sunset too.
Paul and Leo installed plumbing and fixtures for our remodel last year, including a water heater, two bathrooms, kitchen and laundry. They did great work, and were wonderful to work with. They both are very responsive and super nice guys. We will definitely work with them on any plumbing needs going forward.

I woke up this morning to water surrounding the drains in my garage. I went out to the sidewalk and my sewer drain was spewing up what looked like water, lint, and other debris. I called EPS and they had someone to my house with 15 minutes. 10 minutes and one main line snake later, all was fixed and back to normal. The guys even washed down the sidewalk where all of the lint and other material had been gathering. Price was a bit higher than expected for such a short job ($245) but 1) I like to support local business and 2) time is money and EPS saved me a lot of time and hassle today. Thank you, Paul, Igor, and EPS team!
A friend of mine have some trouble with her kitchen sink.
The water did not go down.
I knew that she need the plumber so I try to find somebody who is close by.
That's how I found Pavel.
He answered the phone and told me when he is going to come.
He arrived at the time that he said he would cleaned it out the sewer line and made my friend and very happy.

Paul and his crew are amazing! They worked on several problems in our old house: drains not draining, leaking pipes and leaking toilet base. They have top notch customer service, get the job done quickly and are absolutely professional. They give good advice and everything is working wonderfully!
Their guys just finished helping me to install my new large 20 tall water filter for the whole house. I'm pretty satisfy with their work. My initial reason for choosing them over other plumbers was because they post their cost upfront to me. I like doing business this way because I like no nonsense and I don't like to bargain. I felt that their price was reasonable since I already know how much it costed me previously by another plumber who installed same type of filter for me almost 2 years ago. Yes I will recommend them to my friends.

I hired Paul and crew to do the plumbing work of a kitchen remodel. The work included installing new water lines for the sink, dishwasher, and gas lines for the stove and a furnace. This was my impression
1) The quote was very reasonable and included things others were not offering (like installing the appliances)
2) Paul and crew arrived always on time, worked very cleanly, and were clearly very knowledgable and professional.
3) The result is great, and all inspections were passed easily.
I would hire them back for any plumbing work and recommend them highly.

I didn't have hot water and my pilot in the water heater kept turning off, and when it was on, the water wasn't heating properly. Expert plumbing came to the rescue with their straight forward pricing and tech savvy communication. As I was trying to get services in the middle of my work week, doing the bulk of the communication by text was extremely helpful. My plumber, Leo was knowledgeable and helpful and I absolutely loved working with him. I would work with EPS again in a heart beat!

These guys are the masters of their trade. Four bathrooms, tankless water heater with return line, 2 laundry rooms, kitchen, sewer line repair work all competed on time and with a smile. Shopping around for better price ended up being a waste of time. The value that EPS was offering was unbeatable.
I had rusted out roof drain that needed to be replaced before the monster rainy season that the experts are predicting. I called Expert Plumber based on all the positive Yelp reviews. I called on a weekday morning and expected that it would take a few days to get an appointment but was surprised when he said he would be at my house that same morning.
Paul showed up right on time and inspected the work to be done. I agreed to his price since it was less than 1/2 of what I was quoted from a competitor and that he could do the job that same day.
A few hours later, Paul and his workers showed up right on time and got to work. They were professional, polite, and efficient. Well deserving of a Woohoo! As good as it gets! 5 star rating!

These guys were great! Called me back within 15 minutes, and came within an hour. Very reasonable, super professional, and no surprises: the quote was exactly the same as what they charged me. I'm so happy I found them!
Not only did they get here when promised, because of an opening in their schedule, EPS called me up to ask if i wanted to have someone come a day earlier. Leonid showed up right on time (with text updates being sent to me the whole time to tell me he was on his way), and he was able to explain to me in simple language the issue with my sink, explain to me my options and then immediately fixed it. One suggestion I have for EPS, i might be a good idea to have your plumbers give an estimate of the cost before starting work. Honestly, I forgot to ask as I was in the middle of a number of things when Leonid arrived, and I don't think the price was unfair... but it would have been nice to just get a sense of the cost. Thanks.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I requested a quote for my clogged garbage disposal yesterday afternoon and promptly received a call AND a quote for the work- $255 CHEAPER than I previous quote I'd gotten from another company.
They were able to come by today, which was great. Pavel called me 20 minutes prior to his arrival (which I had requested as I planned to have the work done on my lunch break), and arrived at the beginning of the time slot we'd scheduled. He was extremely efficient and explained what was wrong/how to prevent it in the future. And he took credit card!! They made my day!
Expert Plumbing got back to us very quickly in response to an online quote request, and communicated perfectly throughout the process. They were able to come out the same day to fix an issue with the kitchen sink, actually just within a couple of hours of us calling, for a very reasonable quote. Our plumber, Leo, was friendly and knowledgeable and provided a lot of useful information in addition to doing the job. Very happy with the result and the service, and would definitely call Expert Plumbing again if we needed something done, especially on short notice.
This company is a scam. They came out to resolve our plumbing issues and did absolutely nothing and took our parts. DO NOT USE!!!
We're a 2 unit TIC building converting to condos and we had to get our pipes out back up to code. Working with the DBI is always difficult, and we wanted to the violation resolved asap. EPS was the only company that not only got back to me in a very timely manner, but they were knowledgable, friendly and got the job done. Really no other company I contacted even came close. Their quote was more than I was expecting, but they're worth it. If you need plumbing done, you're going to want to work with these guys!

They are the best, especially Paul. Always up front with price (very reasonable price), on time, fast, and pass inspections the first time. Paul helped me with a complex plumbing issue and also fixed the mistakes caused by a slimy contractor that I had to fire.

I shopped around and Paul was one of the few plumbers who would give me a quote over the phone rather than insisting that a technician come over and give an estimate, even though it was for a standard job (sink disposal replacement).
Once I scheduled the appointment, I got a text confirming all of the details, useful for making sure that the appointment was correct. Paul showed up on time and was very friendly, and also worked quickly to replace my unit (and also showed me what was defective with my old one).
Also, thumbs up for accepting credit card. Overall, super happy with EPS!

I highly recommend this company! I had a blocked sink that I needed help with (draino and pulling pipes apart failed). The owner Paul got back to me quickly with a quote and we were able to set up the appointment effortlessly. I received text updates with the name of the plumbing expert assigned to my job, another update the day of the appointment to say he was on his way. Pavel arrived right on time and had our sink unblocked in no time with a snake. Appreciate that he wore shoe covers and cleaned up everything before leaving. Very reasonable cost. I'm extremely happy and will definitely use this company again.
Our tenant had a clogged shower, he tried to clear it with draino & a snake but was unsuccessful. I called for quotes from several companies and EPS was the only reply that gave me an actual quote. Paul showed up exactly on time, had the proper equipment and wore shoe covers to keep things meticulously clean. He finished the job in short order, cleaning up behind him and the final bill was exactly as quoted. Needless to say, I was impressed and will call him again for plumbing problems. This company is plainly amazing. We had to clean a sewer line in a very old building. We called roto rooter - they cleaned it. Charged us a lot of money and three days later same problem. We called them and they said it will be a new service and will be charged accordingly.
A friend of a friend told us to call these guys. They came out, cleaned it and now month and a half later we are totally happy. First of all it took them just two hours to do the job. There were no hidden fees or costs. There was no travel time. Just the work !!!! They cleaned everything and were very friendly and nice.

Paul and Andrei replaced the leaking pipe under the bathtub this early morning. Paul was very nice and offered to fix it instead of replacing it first. Then he realized the only option was to replace it and got the whole job done in under two hours. His team did a great job and we are glad we found them. Definitely recommend.

My bathroom faucet sprung a leak and needed to be replaced. I found Sergiy through Redbeacon. He was super responsive, very nice and professional -- brought shoe covers and left things very clean. Redbeacon connected us on Saturday and he was able to squeeze me in first thing Monday morning!
A few weeks ago, I had a new washing machine installed and needed new hot and cold handles, which were nearly frozen, installed before I should be running it.
I found EXPERT PLUMBING SOLUTIONS on YELP, sent PAUL a text message with photos of the repair area, and got an instant response and quote within 10 minutes flat. Unlike most other plumbing companies these days, after receiving a photo and brief explanation of the repair, ESP provides customers a quote of their services before they come see you.
Paul, very professional and courteous, showed up in less than an hour! He got the job done at a competitive price and even provided a quote for another job I'll be doing this summer. In addition, all paperwork, estimates and receipts are sent via email or text. Very organized, professional and meticulously tidy (this is a Plus!) as he performed the repairs. This company even has an app I'll use the next time I'm in a jam. I highly recommend this company.

We live in an old building in the outer Sunset and experienced a back up of our pipes. We found Expert Plumbing Solutions (EPS) who responded to our call immediately and came to our rescue. They did a great job at a great price. We had an additional problem with the building and EPS came and resolved that for us the same day, working well into the evening. Paul was great. Gave a quote over the phone and addressed my concern about potentially needing to jet the line, as two other plumbers had indicated. He said it's rarely needed and that he believes he can snake the line successfully. He was right! He unclogged my roof drain pipe in less than 15 minutes. I can't say enough - I highly recommend EPS! These guys are amazing. Called this morning and within 2 hours he was already at our house. He was very knowledgeable and listened to our past history. He cleared out our pipe and took out some roots, explained the two problematic areas and didn't try to pressure or up sell us. These guys are honest and affordable. We've had other plumbers in the past and this guy was the best all around.
My drain was backed up and I had tried everything. I found EPS on Yelp and they were everything I could've wanted. They made an appointment for a time that worked for me and sent out Paul. Paul and his people were great. I got a fast quote via yelp messaging for my p trap replacement. Paul sent Victor out the same day, he arrived on time, was really friendly, and dig a great job. Then I asked him to look at something else, which turned out to be a clogged pipe. A couple of hours later, Victor was back with someone else and the snake and they cleaned that up too. Scheduled an appointment within 24 hours. Leo showed up on time and fixed the problem quickly. Fairly priced and very professional. Will be using them again to installed a garbage disposal soon. Highly recommend.

Paul is AMAZING!! We had problems with the scheduled delivery & installation of new kitchen appliances, & needed a plumber in a hurry because the delivery people could not remove the existing appliances due to some plumbing issues. Paul called back within minutes, and was at the home first thing next morning. He was able to correct all the issues, and even gave me a hand with moving the old microwave! Paul and his team did a wonderful job of installing a new tankless hot water heater in our home, replacing all of our old water pipes with copper pipes, redoing all of the pluming in our kitchen and installing our new appliances. They did a wonderful job of working with our schedule and were very pleasant to work with.
Our experience with Sergiy was outstanding. He was courteous, arrived on time, and skillfully completed the project at hand. We had a kitchen sink and faucet entirely replaced, which also included a full re-plumbing underneath. Sergiy completed the project quickly and expertly. He even brought his own shoe covers. I will not hesitate to use Sergiy again for any future plumbing-related tasks.

Leo was fabulous! We had a toilet issue; Leo communicated quickly, professionally, expertly, efficiently. He was on time and 100% pleasant. After completing the service call, we had a shower issue that night. Again, Leo returned my call at night and repaired the shower the next morning. He anticipated what was needed and brought the appropriate parts. Thank you, Leo - you are the best!
Paul came to my home to give me a quote on a kitchen/bathroom remodel. He clearly is an extremely experienced plumber and he took the time to evaluate my project and lend his expertise regarding code requirements. I ended up using a plumber I had worked with before but Paul's quote was right in line and very reasonable. I was very impressed with Paul's professionalism and would not hesitate to use his services in the future.
Found these guys through RedBeacon. Needed to get a kitchen faucet installed / replaced, and a couple other odd items. These guys are great. I called and asked if they could come by the same day, and Sergei (owner?) squeezed me in. Paul (technician) was nothing but professional. He was timely, clean (wore booties in the house, cleaned up after himself), and even moved everything from out under the sink and back for me. I also asked for help in securing a loose bathroom sink due to poor installation, and removing a stuck bathroom tub drain stopper, and he did both free of charge. Highly recommend these guys, and will definitely call again when I need a plumber.
