This company is amazing!  They made the lateral process simple, straightforward and well under anticipated expenses.  The representative I worked with, Vincent Gaines, was stellar in all aspects and I would strongly encourage anyone living in Montclair in particular, and elsewhere, needing a lateral inspection to utilize this firm.  Can't say enough about them besides Outstanding!

Zayah was on time, knowledgeable, asked enough questions to make sure we were on the same page, but was unobtrusive and efficient. He diagnosed Missi ng parts we needed, took a quick trip to the store in my behalf, and replaced our disposal/repaired some broken sink plumbing quickly and cleanly. Strong recommend!

Made appointment to have kitchen faucet installed.  They brought. A great replacement and installed it with no fuss.  Good service. Good people.

This review is long overdue--several years ago, I caught the stomach flu and vomited in our ancient pedestal sink. Jac came promptly and was so kind about the embarrassing ordeal, I've used her ever since. Each time, she has responded promptly and gone above and beyond to help us out--even if she and her employee are not available to take the job. She always takes the extra step to explain the issue and try to talk me through solutions on the phone (if it's the kind of thing I might be able to handle on my own); if not, she graciously gives referrals to other plumbers in the area.

To address the (very few!) negative reviews on this page: Jac likes to get to the point, and though she is always kind, professional, and compassionate, she can seem blunt at times. I, for one, appreciate this very much and count her honesty and directness as the cherry on top of the excellent work she does. And as an aside, I can't help but wonder whether some of these other reviewers who have used adjectives like curt or short-tempered would have done so if we, generally speaking, didn't have unrealistic and unfair expectations of women: I doubt very much that a male plumber would inspire negative reviews based solely on his failure to be perfectly sweet, all the while performing a task that is, at least somewhat often, deeply unpleasant (for instance, clearing barf from a pedestal sink).

Our garbage disposal was broken. I posted a quote on Yelp and got quick response from United Plumb. In addition to quick response and good communication, they did great and clean job on installing a new one.  And they charged a fair market value. I am very happy with their service.

Ben was really quick to respond to an issue we had and came over within a couple hours. We will definitely be calling him back for future fixes. Thank you!!

You always fear the time you have to deal with plumbing issues mainly because it is such an arduous task finding a decent plumbing company that has great service, integrity and nominal costs.  Well, these guys have it all, they are fantastic.

I randomly googled plumbers in my area and called them. Within 2 hours of my call, Johnny accurately diagnosed the issue and solved it. Above that, he was a delight. Courteous, clear and professional. There is no doubt I'd go back to these guys for any issues down the line.

This place is so easy made an appointment for today and Ivan he's pretty good in working in my leaking kitchen sink fixed it good and also took care of my bathroom shower that is clogged and the water was really draining slow and he fixed the pipe with full of hair that's been clogged. Anyway I gave him 5 stars for working within half an hour.

A couple weeks ago on a Sunday night, my kitchen sink was clogged and it was evident that it was a problem across the entire system, with coffee grounds coming up in the bathtub. I called Oakland Rooter Monday morning. They came out, determined that my pipes were indeed totally clogged and confirmed what we already new about the drainage under the house, which was the the run:rise was incorrect and  we had to re-do the drainage. It was a pretty intense undertaking but the results were successful, the drainage was properly aligned and the cost was totally reasonable.

As a consequence of Oakland Rooter's excellent service and workmanship we decided to replace all the galvanized pipes with copper the following week. All our new fixtures had copper, but they all tied into the nearly 100 year old galvanized system. Once again, the guys were super nice, very efficient, did excellent work, and did a superior patch job on the walls that had to be opened for access to the pipes. I was nervous about what the quality of the sheetrock/lathe and plaster repair was going to be. It was seamless! Two different rooms were affected with two different textures and they were perfectly matched. As a homeowner who had done a fair amount of remodeling I was super impressed.

I would not hesitate to refer Oakland Rooter to anyone who was looking for a good plumber.

Four condo owners in a 1926 Edwardian Building in San Francisco decided to install gas lines for our fireplaces.  
After meeting with five other plumbers, Dave Cosello came up with the BEST solution for a challenging arrangement and at a very competitive price!!  They were thorough, professional, extremely efficient and an incredibly nice crew!!!!

I had a leak under my sink. Called F&A and the owner Frank showed up. Very professional and great communication. He even had booties to cover his boots so not to mess up our floors. He was done in less than 30 min and super affordable. Also, I am expecting my first child in a few months and Frank just had a baby and he had lots of new dad advice. Highly recommend!

First to respond to my Yelp request for estimates and gave me an actual estimate, as opposed to telling me to call or have a free in-person opportunity to get Covid.  Showed up same day, discovered and resolved safety issues in addition to my task.  Very happy, will definitely hire again.

We just moved into our new (to us, but old bungalow) home and wanted to install a dishwasher.  When the dishwasher arrived, the installers could not hook it up because there was no water line under the sink.   We called AT Weber and Mike came out to set it up.  We also decided to have him install our garbage disposal then too.  However, he installed the disposal but did not do the water line!  We called back and Todd saved the day- he got the work done just in time for the installers return to hook up the dishwasher.  Needless to say, we were frustrated with Mike but Todd came to the rescue.  My only beef is that they do not have a emergency line for after hours and they do not work weekends- all things we learned the hard way.  I would recommend they have their hours posted on the website and on the voicemail.  Thank you Todd for your professionalism:)

Excellent customer service and the plumber did a fast unplugging of our kitchen sink.

It's never fun to come home to a clogged kitchen drain, especially on the Sunday of a holiday weekend.  We reached out to a b drain and spoke with an extremely professional representative that scheduled Raffi to come to our house the same day.  Not only did Moses arrive earlier than expected but he was professional, straightforward, and great to work with.  He also walked us through each step he took, making us feel very confident in the work performed.  I highly recommend him!

Joel was fantastic! I received a very expensive quote from another company to replace a broken shower valve and cartridge. I went to Yelp and messaged Golden Coast and Joel got back to immediately, and within an hour was getting the parts from Home Depot and heading over to fix the issue.
Several others wouldn't even give me a quote or required me to schedule time for someone to come over and assess first. Joel knew exactly what the issue was and was able to solve it quickly at the BEST rate that I received. I will absolutely use them again for all my plumbing needs.

Charlie was great.  He came to our house, replaced 3 sink washers.  They work great now.  He was a little hard to get on the phone but since this clearly was not an urgent matter - It was not a big deal.  We certainly will use him again.

Damon is responsive, reliable, personable and professional. Even in the midst of his wife having a baby, he responded to my message.

This place is perfect for your rough plumbing needs, more of a b2b shop like for water heaters and everything that goes behind the walls.

Know what you need and communicate that to them and they will have it.

If you don't know exactly what you need then it's kind of hard to shop here .  I been her 30 times in the last two years and finally understand how to navigate this shop.
