These guys are professional, on time and do it right. We had them do a bunch of various things from installing lights in the ceilings and exterior lights where there were none and running electrical power here and there.

They guys John had at my job did a great job, were helpful and courteous.

Wilson is very professional and efficient. He helped me solve some issues with my rigid conduit requested by PG&E for my electrical panel upgrade. I needed help fast because this problem blocked my house remodel inspection.  Wilson is very flexible to support my timing needed. And he did a great job fixing the issue.  Highly recommended!

I really put Sam and his helpers through their paces in the past month: a serious underground conduit repair, establishing a new appliance circuit, adding a 220v outlet to a workshop, and finally, a subtle and difficult maneuver involving connecting a built-in appliance to a box that was just a few inches in the wrong place, inside a tight-as-a-drum installation space. While working in the main panel he proclaimed the work space too dark (which it was), so he threw in a utility light while he was in there. I'm completely satisfied with the work, the prices, and Sam's optimistic, can-do spirit.

The most difficult job, finding and fixing an underground electrical line that traveled partly under the driveway, partly right through the roots of a tree (the line having arced, melted and burned while underground!), was fixed durably and beautifully. Another electrician had refused to even attempt it, saying we should bypass the underground line and just string an ugly overhead line to the workshop. Not Sam: he had it diagnosed, found, dug up and repaired before the day was out.

A neighbor referred Alpha General Electric to me, saying Sam maintained a number of her rental properties. Which said to me that he's seen it all, and become resourceful at finding problems and fixing them quickly and on a budget. I was not disappointed.

Cross Electrical was my go-to electrician when the Cross family used to own it.  It should be noted that now they have sold their services to Thomas and Edith.  Of the Cross family, only Jerry stays behind as one of their electricians, but Jerry did tell me he is planning to retire soon.

Over one month ago I noticed I had an issue where my refrigerator would be going out at night.  At first thinking it was the refrigerator having issues, I soon noticed it was half the house.  I called Cross Electrical and Jerry came out two different times but unfortunately could not diagnose the problem.  

I eventually called PG&E Thanksgiving day, and they diagnosed the issue as a tree root outside entangling with the live wire, which effectively tugged the line and destroyed my outside panel.  

To be fair, Edith was very responsive on Thanksgiving Day saying her husband, Thomas, the new owner, would be out the next day to see the problem and figure out a solution.

Thomas saw the destroyed panel and told me he would try to do research on how to fix it, but with supply chain issues it might take awhile.  I understood.

I heard no word from any of them through the weekend and Monday.  On Tuesday I tried texting Edith, and there was no response.  I called the office but it was as if they disappeared.

I called Thomas on his cell Thursday and he responded he was still looking into it and would get back to me shortly.  That was over a month ago; I never heard from him again.

If Thomas had told me from the beginning we just needed to replace the panel, then fine, I would have been okay with it.  Because he never gave me a definitive answer, and then ghosted me, I wasted nearly two weeks and was effectively homeless through Thanksgiving.  Because of the time it took to contact a new electrician and plan out a solution, I also could not be home for Christmas.

I understand this was an unusual circumstance, but because of what occurred I could not be at home for the holidays, and it was just another ugly end to such an ugly year.

I certainly wish the best of luck to anyone who continues to reach out to Cross Electrical; you're going to need it.  I wish them all the best of luck with their new owners.

I had a DIY project gone wrong and needed a pro.  I found Hillsborough Electric in Yelp because they were close to me and because of the five star status and the many positive comments.  I called and got voice mail.  I was in a hurry so I decided to try another company; I did not leave a voice mail with Hillsborough Electric .  I got voice mail at the second company and decided to leave them a voice mail.

In the meantime, based only on the caller ID Bob called back before the other company responded.  Great!  I needed help so I proceeded to describe my problem.  As Bob listened he suggested that I could save money if I did the fix myself.  He started to describe how to do that but I interrupted - I was already in hot water because my DIY skills weren't up to the task.  I told him I wanted it done by a pro.  And that's what I got - a pro.  It wasn't the biggest job in the world, but he came at the appointed time, got the job done, and was a pleasure to work with.  If I need electrical work in the future, I won't need Yelp to guide me.  I know who I will call.

Jose has been working with us for years, patiently. Slowly but surely we have been remodeling our house and every time he shows up, is efficient and cost effective. He does great work and we have always been so pleased with the end result. Very nice guy and everyone we have referred him to has been just as happy with his work and service. Can't say enough good things about him and his business.

Every electrical problem we've ever had, Brian and his crew showed up the same day to fix the problem.  He is truly an expert at what he does.  I've never met an electrician that understood the craft better than he does.  He is trustworthy, fair, hard working, and has made our home safe.

I had a circuit breaker that would immediately trip every time I would try to reset it. Either the breaker was bad or there was a short circuit in the wiring. It was a Sunday and I needed it fixed that day. The owner, Jim Holliday, had me text him some photos, and then he showed within an hour and replaced the breaker in a few minutes. He charged me $205; he said the weekday minimum for visits is $195 so I got a good deal. Jim's manner was friendly and professional.

Cole came out to our house early last month after we had a series of incidents where our circuit breakers kept tripping. He made a minor fix, though didn't seem to get to the root of the problem. Charged us a reasonable sum, $210, and said if the problem recurs to call him and he'll pop right out.

Three weeks later, the problem recurred (though in 2 different rooms). We called him at 8:30 in the morning on a Friday and didn't get a callback. Called his cell phone at 12:30 and he answered while on a job in San Jose. He remembered us and said he'd be out to take a look in 2 hours.

Two, three, four hours passed and nothing. At 4:30 I texted him, no response. At 5:30 I called him, no answer. At 5:45 he called me, but thought he was responding to someone else. Would he come out that evening, or the next day? Can't. I'm on an important job, he said.

Which told me everything about his priorities.

I had left a message over the phone first thing in the morning and received a return call shortly afterwards. The problem I was having was resolved over the phone, saving time and money. I will definitely call Eagle Electric for future electrical needs.

Quick, very nice, fair price and reliable. The work was completed quickly and the team was able to problem solve when pieces of my light fixture were missing. What more can you ask for?
