Great company to work with.  When Connor came out to look at the project he was on time, professional, clearly knowledgeable, and took the time to explain what needed to happen in order to put in my new generator.  
In their office, Ocea was easy to work with and helped coordinate not only their work but that of the plumbing company who ran the gas line.

I really put Sam and his helpers through their paces in the past month: a serious underground conduit repair, establishing a new appliance circuit, adding a 220v outlet to a workshop, and finally, a subtle and difficult maneuver involving connecting a built-in appliance to a box that was just a few inches in the wrong place, inside a tight-as-a-drum installation space. While working in the main panel he proclaimed the work space too dark (which it was), so he threw in a utility light while he was in there. I'm completely satisfied with the work, the prices, and Sam's optimistic, can-do spirit.

The most difficult job, finding and fixing an underground electrical line that traveled partly under the driveway, partly right through the roots of a tree (the line having arced, melted and burned while underground!), was fixed durably and beautifully. Another electrician had refused to even attempt it, saying we should bypass the underground line and just string an ugly overhead line to the workshop. Not Sam: he had it diagnosed, found, dug up and repaired before the day was out.

A neighbor referred Alpha General Electric to me, saying Sam maintained a number of her rental properties. Which said to me that he's seen it all, and become resourceful at finding problems and fixing them quickly and on a budget. I was not disappointed.

Why would anyone give Cross Electrical anything less than 5stars! Personally, I've dealt with difficult people so maybe something's up. Anyways, Kathy & Doug are always prompt, proffessional, and friendly when answering any questions I have. If I have any problems, they are at the top of my list! #1

Gomez Electric reached out quickly when I contacted them and were professional, courteous, and worked quickly to fix our electrical panel problems. They also installed a range hood at a very reasonable price while they were fixing our electrical issues. They were very knowledgeable and answered our questions thoroughly before proceeding. They even followed up with us later in the week to make sure everything was working fine. They provided exceptional service from beginning to end. I would definitely recommend them and will be using them again in the future for any electrical needs!

Dave did a fantastic job installing and hanging our chandeliers! He was professional, efficient and also very humorous. We're very happy with the overall service and results.

Bob was responsive, professional, and effective; in short, a life saver on short notice. A Saturday afternoon, a Best Buy team had done a poor job connecting my stovetop (to the point that one of the cables started smoking). I told them to leave it like that and that I would call an electrician (I'd rather not have them burn my house down, thanks). I called a number of electricians that didn't respond or said they couldn't help me. Lucky for me, Bob answered and told me he could be at my home in an hour and was straightforward about his rate. He truly knows what he's doing and is worth every penny. Thanks, Bob for the peace of mind of knowing that my next egg scramble was not going to light my house on fire! Jose had been my go to electrician. He is very thorough and does a great job. Also his is not expensive. I strongly recommend him.

I've got my EV plug taken care of within one day. They fast and professional, i submitted for quotes to a few vendors, they came back with reasonable rate. Laser and Sons completed a couple projects at my home. The work turned out great and was completed to the exact specifications that were quoted.
Alfonso was very responsive and checked in multiple times during the project, it was obvious that he cared and was on top of everything that was being done. He provided a competitive and detailed bid, and I am very happy to have had him work on this project.

Brian is awesome!!!  Past work he's done for us included installing a wall heater, exhaust fan and new lighting in our bathroom; another job was redoing all of our kitchen lighting; additional work included adding outside lights.  All of these jobs included great suggestions from him, were done promptly and left us completely satisfied.  Having had great service from him and his workers in the past we recently called on him to do a rush job involving installation of an outdoor chair lift.  He was booked solid but made time for us on his way home from work!!  We feel very lucky to have found Brian and Alpine Mountain Electric.

I hired Los Gatos Electric to do exterior electrical work that included adding an extra circuit to power a detached workshop building with internal and external lights and electrical outlets. The job also included adding low voltage exterior lighting to my property with timers and motion sensor lights.  Jim at Los Gatos Electric is a true professional. He is focused on quality and customer satisfaction.  Any time I wanted an adjustment to the work, he had his contractors respond quickly and to my satisfaction. Jim is easy to reach by phone.  No waiting for days on end for return phone calls.  I most especially appreciated the warranty Jim provides for his work and parts.  Shortly after the external low voltage transformers were installed, they both stopped working.  Jim replaced these with no cost.  Amazingly, Jim even showed up on New Years Day holiday to do the work himself. Wow!  I recommend Los Gatos Electric and will definitely hire them again for my future electrical needs.

We contacted Rick on a Sunday morning because of a partial power problem in our home.  He got back to us in a very short time and provided reassurance and information to us over the phone, preventing an unneeded housecall. I would not hesitate to contact him for any future electrical concern/problem!

Cole did a full LED retrofit of one of our clients offices in San Ramon. One of the lamps he installed was damaged and he knew it. When the client asked to have it replaced Cole was unresponsive. After multiple attempts to reach him, we were forced to use another vendor to replace the light at our cost. They now have another light out, which will be at our cost again.

Ed  with Eagle Electric is the best electrician in the bay area! Ed is always on time,polite and knowledgeable!  I have worked with Ed for years and have never had an issue. He is through, complete, and safety is number one with Ed. I am a general contractor here in the San Jose area that uses Ed On a continual basis with fantastic results.

I hired Anthony to install an electric ceiling fan. I think they did the job a bit fast and sloppy. There were several issues which involved me having to DIY remove the fan, remove the mount they put in and re do everything. This cost me Extra time and money.

When I called Anthony to remedy the situation, I did not get any response. Same with texts. I also felt he had a hard time understanding me and me him. His English was so so, but I would say better than some of the others.

In general I would not recommend them. They will be fast etc but the job may not get done to your satisfaction and you would not have much of a recourse.

But I cannot be complaining too much: I chose them because they were the cheapest for this job after I received quotes for this work from multiple folks.

I wish they had paid more attention to the job and actually read the instruction manual and did everything as it stated.
