Here is the history, reached out to Cockrums Handyman to work on an assembly of a Gazebo for my backyard. We agreed on the price and the date of work.  Pretty straight forward.  Ryan even messaged me the night before to confirm if the work is still on.  A couple of hours before the agreed time and date, he cancels on me.   I would not run my business like that.  How would you rate this experience?

Since there is no way to respond to your reply Ryan, I am editing my review to include a response to counter what you just said as this is about integrity.  You texted to my wife to cancel ~an hour before you were suppose to work on the Gazebo saying it's impossible for 1 person to install this as you work alone, solo and have no assistant vs  your response to me that the assistant you lined up flaked out  and finally to your response from my review of you where your assistant is not allowed to work.  These are mixed messages that do not reconcile.

I needed electrical gremlins removed from our old home, John Hope Electric was the best estimate, workers communicated well with us. I had a small checklist they took care of everything in a timely manner. Their office is a pleasure to deal with, and we recommend you try them! The workers all knew exactly what they were doing, no mistakes were made, Thank you!

Wilson is very professional and efficient. He helped me solve some issues with my rigid conduit requested by PG&E for my electrical panel upgrade. I needed help fast because this problem blocked my house remodel inspection.  Wilson is very flexible to support my timing needed. And he did a great job fixing the issue.  Highly recommended!

This is now the 4th time i have used Sam aka Alpha General Electric.  He is so concientious and diligent with his work. He is extremely versatile in his skills and being able to handle unusual installations and repairs. Here are some of the unusual projects we have done....

Very happy about their service. We had our NEMA 14-50 outlet installed with them. Jerry and his brother showed up on time with happy smile. They added a breaker into our main panel outside of house and then wired to our garage for a new outlet. They did professional and fast. Only took less than one hour. Will definitely call them for other electrical project!

Bob is a great guy and what a professional! I just asked for him to come out to troubleshoot and he figured out the most likely cause within minutes. He gave me a hint and I went and found the GFI to re-set. Now, all fixed and as he said, he didn't need to come out and I saved myself $250. I will need some solid electrical work done around the house soon and will certainly ask Bob to help us with the work. Thanks Bob!!

Jose has been working with us for years, patiently. Slowly but surely we have been remodeling our house and every time he shows up, is efficient and cost effective. He does great work and we have always been so pleased with the end result. Very nice guy and everyone we have referred him to has been just as happy with his work and service. I've got my EV plug taken care of within one day. They fast and professional, i submitted for quotes to a few vendors, they came back with reasonable rate. Laser and sons are amazing. They were able to repair my wiring in the bedroom for less than a quarter of other quotes received. They are professional and nice and preform above par work. I will be hiring them again for future electric work.

Seth Installed some 220 circuits in my garage for some woodworking machines.  Very professional,  organized and on time. Would definitely use again and highly recommend.

Bryan and his crew were so professional  reliable , on time and knowledgeable and we had quite a conundrum in a wall that was stuffed with wires by a previous electronic buff who had made everything extremely complicated before moving out of the house we are now in . Bryan and his crew came out , sorted through it all in one day and got it all working without a hitch .
His crew was respectable and courteous to a tee and Bryan ended up charging less because they were in and out in about 7 hours .
I'm also writing this review because I recently called Bryan to come out and take a look at some more electrical issues unrelated to the previous project and even with his busy schedule found time on his way home after a long day to come check out the issues at hand .

Thank you very much Mr. Bene!  I was successful in resetting the GFCI plug in the garage.  The reset button popped out, so I just pushed it back in according to the instructions on the GFCI plug.  The power is all back in both bathrooms and the outside patio.  You are absolutely right, they are the GFI loop.  I forgot I used the reset button in the garage to bring the bathroom power back a very long time (decades?) ago.

It's disappointing that the two young electricians from the HVAC company didn't know anything about the GFCI plug.  The second electrician took 5 hours to diagnose the problem and made a wrong assumption that an active wire in the master bathroom outlet was cut by the first electrician and it dropped inside the wall.  The second electrician suggested cutting open my master bathroom wall to look for the assumed cut wire behind the wall, drilling a big hole in the stud next to a light switch to junction power to the adjacent outlet, or fishing a wire and junction power from the light switch up to the attic, then coming back down to the master bathroom outlet that lost power.  He said he only repairs drywall after it has been cut, but he doesn't do wall texturing and painting when I have the drywall compound, knockdown texture spray, matching paint and supplies.  He said it would take him a whole new day to do the wiring.  I refused to have my wall cut open or stud drilled with a big hole when his diagnosis was based on an assumption.  I felt something was not right so I called in the pro by emailing you for your help.

Mr. Bene, you have just saved me from nightmare suggestions by inexperienced electricians.  I will stay away from journeyman electricians without their boss on-site from now on.  I am very grateful for your help, advice and guidance.  I respect that you are a sincere, helpful, professional and exceptionally experienced licensed electrical contractor.  I would highly recommend you to anyone.
