These guys are professional, on time and do it right. We had them do a bunch of various things from installing lights in the ceilings and exterior lights where there were none and running electrical power here and there.

They guys John had at my job did a great job, were helpful and courteous.

I felt like I got extremely good service from them and the price was very fair.

If you live within reach of Santa Cruz, make certain, these guys are included in the list of people you get quotes from. If their price is ANYWHERE close. I'd recommend using them.

Wilson is very professional and efficient. He helped me solve some issues with my rigid conduit requested by PG&E for my electrical panel upgrade. I needed help fast because this problem blocked my house remodel inspection.  Wilson is very flexible to support my timing needed. And he did a great job fixing the issue.  Highly recommended!

This is now the 4th time i have used Sam aka Alpha General Electric.  He is so concientious and diligent with his work. He is extremely versatile in his skills and being able to handle unusual installations and repairs. Here are some of the unusual projects we have done....

Jose was one of the most professional and top notch contractors I've ever worked with. He was quick to reply to all my texts and arrived at my house on time and finished the install of my TELSA WALL CHARGER in less than 1 hour! I don't usually post reviews unless I am impressed and overly satisfied with the work and Jose exceeded all my expectations. In addition, his cost was fair and very reasonable. He explained everything he was going to do for the job and showed my pictures of his work throughout the entire process. Jose is my GO-TO guy for anything electric from now on. I hired Gustavo and his crew to install some recessed lighting in my two-story house (and also install a Nest thermostat and fix my electric fireplace). I was very worried about them making a mess of the ceiling. Instead, they did an outstanding job on the lighting with no issues whatsoever. This included installing lights on very high, pitched ceilings. Moreover, I was blown away by the care they took to cover everything in the house to do the work so as to not make a mess. When they left, you could hardly tell workers had been there at all. I would hire Gustavo and crew for any future projects. Professionals all the way!

Forced to write a review because the service was, well non existent. They came over to our office to give us an estimate for lighting and told us to email them with the type of lighting we wanted. That was 2 weeks ago. Since then I've emailed three times, called them multiple times with no response to my emails or phone-calls. What's the point of coming all the way to give an estimate if you're not willing to actually complete the job. All the other folks have reviewed them as excellent, but for some reason we got the short end of the stick. Disappointing.

There weren't many reviews of Brian or Alpine Electric, so i was a little worried about hiring him. I shouldn't have been. He was referred to me by another contractor who assured me he was good, and he and his crew were outstanding.

1. Dust control--Brian goes overboard on protecting from any construction dust and debris. He made such a nice plastic vestibule with zippered door that I was almost tempted to leave it. Even though the area he was working in was not in use, he and his crew cleaned things up beautifully at every end of day.

2. Reliable--Brian came when he said he would, completed things in a timely manner and let me know his schedule ahead of time.

3. Not just an electrician--I ended up having Brian build some walls for us and his carpentry skills are impeccable. He has incredible attention to detail and a good eye for aesthetics. he recommended some improvements and I went with them. He doesn't leave things unfinished, and customer satisfaction is clearly a high priority.

4. Doesn't try to oversell--I had him look at some of our other electrical. He pointed somethings out, and fixed them, and said everything else looked fine.

5 Great crew--I don't love having a bunch of workers in my house, but Brian and his crew were great. They were very respectful, nice and helpful. I had them do a few extras and the billing was reasonable.

6. On budget--Brian gave me an accurate estimate and informed me of any additional charges before starting work.

I will definitely hire him for my next project.

This company is the worst and have scammed me out of $700 to repair my generator. They came out to my house, performed a tune-up of my generator but could not explain why the generator still would not power on. They took my battery and said they needed order a part and would come back to install. Two weeks later they have not come back and had an excuse that the part was stolen from their PO Box. Jim never calls and always has an excuse. I did make Jim sign a paper to explain the work he said he performed for $700 and had him sign it. This will be key in small claims court. Steer clear of this business.

Rick and his team came on time and find burned switch. Fixed and cleaned up and did few more things that I asked them to do.
My refrigerator  plug is fixed and others one that stop working is now functional.

Cole completed a panel upgrade and backyard lighting project for me recently ,I reached out to a few electricians for a quote and he was in line with many of the reasonable quotes and on finally working out schedules etc. I went with cole. He had a very open and clear communication style and i was able to let him know what i needed exactly and he completed the work in time and ensured the small changes were accommodated as the project progressed. One thing i liked about him is follow up  , he followed up on a item that retailer  had shipped and came back and installed it  as part of the initial contract. He also left things they way they were supposed to and fixed my drywall to my satisfaction. Overall I will definitely recommend him for projects.

I was able to confirm firsthand that the great reviews I read about Ed and team were valid.  I reached out to Ed based on a neighbor's recommendation on Nextdoor and based on the Yelp reviews. I made an appointment with Ed to come over to provide an estimate on adding lights to my front and backyard.  Ed was very professional and had great ideas and recommendations based on my project so I decided to go with him. In the meantime, we communicated about the project via phone and email and the follow-up was great.  Ed and crew, including Chris, came yesterday to make my project a reality.  They were very punctual, friendly, efficient, very knowledgeable, extremely professional, and very detail oriented.  They took the time to answer all my questions and even to go buy additional lights which I requested.  My front and backyard now look fantastic!!  As a result, Ed and crew will come back to do another electrical project at my house and I will definitely recommend him to some of the neighbors who have asked for electrical recommendations!

They got the job done efficiently at the agreed upon time and price. Was a really good experience.
