Recently, from a referral, I contacted John Hope Electric to hang a chandelier in my studio salon in Aptos.  Long story short I had previously contacted FIVE other electricians who either did not respond, did not show up, gave me quotes but never returned calls, or cancelled after work was scheduled.  I was so frustrated!!  Then I called John Hope... Best decision ever!  

John showed up on time at my studio to assess and provide a quote.  He was professional and knowledgable, he gave me realistic expectations, explained possibilities, provided a quote when he said he would (that was incredibly reasonable might I add) and I was able to easily schedule work.  Come the day of when work was to happen, his technician (Cree) showed up eager and ready to do the work.  Cree was awesome!  He was very professional and did a great job.  He finished promptly and kept the salon very neat and tidy.

Billing was a breeze also!  Everything was as quoted, and the receptionist was so easy to work with.  Online billing was a plus!

Overall, I was so pleased with everything they did.  I am SOOOOO thankful!  I now only wish they did plumbing and construction/handyman work because now I'm having the same problems trying to schedule some other work.

Wilson was prompt, knowledgeable and did good work. He gave a competitive bid to install an EV charge Point hard wired into box. Really nice guy. I'll definitely hire him again.

Sam was terrific helping me fix the issues created when we had a PG&E transformer blow up on  our street. It blew out my garage door opener, my doorbell, 2 GFI outlets, my Keurig coffee machine, my Sonicare toothbrush and several other things in my house.  Sam came in and quietly and efficiently fixed everything, and at a very reasonable price.

This was our first time using this company but it won't be the last. Half of Our house was dark and we had visions of having a huge project and an equally huge electrical bill. Cross Electrical was recommended by our plumbing contractor. Doug came within hours of my call. He had the problem located and fixed in under two hours and the bill was very reasonable. Would recommend without hesitation!

With the storm coming trough last night, the high winds lifted our car canopy, hit overhead garage wires but didn't take them down. The main breaker went out to the house at this point .. 12:30 am. I have used Gomez Electrical before and sent a message. Not expecting to hear anything from Alvaro till the morning, but he responded right back! He was out this am and fixed everything! Luckily before the rains started again. Cannot express my gratitude enough for this young man and his company. Informative, professional and caring. I would highly recommend him!

Dave did a fantastic job installing and hanging our chandeliers! He was professional, efficient and also very humorous. We're very happy with the overall service and results.

I had lights that were flickering on/off (NOT dimming) throughout a large portion of the home and would occasionally just stop working for hours at a time.

Another electrician took 5 hours at $910 crawling around the ceiling space, reconnecting and tightening things and claimed it was all better. It was not -- the power issues continued 2 days later.

Got in contact with Bob at 11am, he came out that same day by 2pm, had the problem fixed 30 minutes and $300 later; money well spent. Turns out the previous folks had missed that an entire breaker bar contact in the main panel had been sparking and completely corroded the bar contact. Bob put in a new breaker on undamaged bar contacts and put everything back together.

I highly recommend Castillo Electric for all of your electrical needs. We've had Jose come by twice now to do electrical work. He's approachable, honest, and reliable. He's added new outlets, one of which needed its own power source, and fixed a loose outlet. We also had him install a new ceiling light.

I requested the service of fixing 2 switches and replacing 1 light fixture from Arash, and they were all done greatly. The price is fair compared to other quotes I did. I would highly recommend this company for fixing your electric system in the house.

We decided to update and improve the lighting in 4 rooms of our home with recessed lights. I obtained 5 different estimates and went with Laser and Sons. They were knowledgeable and the only ones that pointed out specific placement of lights - like directly over the sink, and above the peninsula and pantry - to maximize lighting over those areas. They installed a total of 20 lights for a very reasonable price. The crew was fast and did an excellent job. (One is a Marine like my son, which made me even happier I went with this company and I enjoyed talking with him as he worked). They took the time to use a laser beam to make sure the lights in 3 adjoining rooms (kitchen, dining and family rooms) were all lined up with each other perfectly. What a difference this upgrade has made.

On top of the excellent installation, they went above and beyond. A few weeks later one of the lights went out, so I contacted them. They came right out to fix it and we realized another company I hired to resurface the ceiling had accidentally detached the light when they pulled it down to paint. A 10-second fix. I'd definitely call Laser and Sons if I need electrical work in the future.

We just moved offices an had to breakdown our cubicle units in order for the move. Having this be the first time I've done this, I had no idea that electrical wires had to be disconnected and capped off until the day before the movers came. After freaking out and calling 3 other electricians that were of no help, Seth reassured me that it would not be a problem. He came especially early for me to ensure the job would be done before the movers arrived. He was punctual, quick, dilligent, had a great rate, and an attitude to match!

I usually do not post comments, but in this situation I must say that I highly recommend Switched Electric. Seth is great!

This company is fraudulent, Jim's electrical  license has been suspended for long time, BE CAREFUL with this company I worked with them and they didn't pay me on time, please do your research before hiring. Thrust me

Rick and his team came on time and find burned switch. Fixed and cleaned up and did few more things that I asked them to do.
My refrigerator  plug is fixed and others one that stop working is now functional.

I can't speak highly enough of the owner Cole, who did a lot of electric work for me like fan installations, lights over bathroom vanities, install of wall TV. Cole was honest, concerned, great prices and very professional. Other electricians wanted to tear my walls up to get the job done but he went around that saving me $ for patching, and painting. He employs good electricians also.
Fast, reliable, good work, thanks to these guys for taking care of all my worries!

Lights in the dining room went out after turning on exhaust fan, taking out stove as well. Beyond flipping the circuit breakers off and on, I was at a loss where to start. I removed one outlet, tried rewiring, and having failed to restore power, called the pros.
Yovani and his partner came and diagnosed a problem, removing multiple outlets and even going to the attic. After 2 hours they found a broken neutral wire in the attic, caused by a stapler gun during remodel, this is 6 months after the remodel!
They kept to the original quote, despite longer than expected troubleshooting time and problem being more complex than originally anticipated.
Arrived on the same day, texted me while en route with their eta, were courteous and left the place clean. What an excellent service.
