Umm... $5000 to install two 220V power outlets??? 2-3 hours of work, about 150 feet of wire and two circuit breakers?

Thanks, but no thanks. Took me just a little over an hour to get both installed myself.

P.S. my review is solely based on the price quoted. I can't provide any work quality review. But for this much money??? Are the wires they install made out of gold???
P.P.S. Total time spent: about 20 minutes doing research online, about an hour at Home Depot. About 1.5 hours installing everything.

In response to John H. the owner: like I said, it took a total of about $150 for materials and a few hours of work for me to do the same job you quote $5000 to do, with all the permits and certifications (yes, I am certified to work with electrical equipment). All the outdoor certified conduits, the properly gauged wires, the double-pole circuit breakers - that all costs pennies. The work itself doesn't require any PhDs or even a masters degree (heck, not even a bachelors one!) I'm sure there are people who are happy to part with their money to get a nail hammered into a wall to hang a picture. I'm not one of them. If I'm quoted exorbitant amount of money for a job that requires very little skill or education - I'll do my research and do the job myself, thank you very much. 3 hour job at $5000 - that's over $1500 per hour. Even lawyers rarely charge that much.

And, by the way, the price quoted is nearly double of what the next highest quote I got from local electricians. The most acceptable quote I got was about $500 per circuit. Still too high, in my opinion, but $1000 for two circuits definitely beats the $5000.

Wilson was prompt, knowledgeable and did good work. He gave a competitive bid to install an EV charge Point hard wired into box. Really nice guy. I'll definitely hire him again.

This is now the 4th time i have used Sam aka Alpha General Electric.  He is so concientious and diligent with his work. He is extremely versatile in his skills and being able to handle unusual installations and repairs. Here are some of the unusual projects we have done....

The guy is not afraid to take on any electrical project and do a top notch job of it.

With the storm coming trough last night, the high winds lifted our car canopy, hit overhead garage wires but didn't take them down. The main breaker went out to the house at this point .. 12:30 am. I have used Gomez Electrical before and sent a message. Not expecting to hear anything from Alvaro till the morning, but he responded right back! He was out this am and fixed everything! Luckily before the rains started again. Cannot express my gratitude enough for this young man and his company. Informative, professional and caring. I would highly recommend him!

I have had Dave's Electric do numerous electrical repairs on my house.  They are prompt, courteous, efficient and always competitively priced.  I wouldn't ever use anyone else.  I have referred several friends and neighbors to Dave's Electric and everyone is pleased and satisfied with the work.  If you need electrical work, do not hesitate to call Dave's Electric they are the very best and I can't say enough good things about them.

Bob is awesome!  I called him at 930PM because my son heard a pop & fizzle in our kitchen and the whole house filled with a burning smell.  I was very worried and Bob stayed on the phone with me and walked me through what I needed to do to make sure we were safe until he could come in the morning.  While he was here he thoroughly checked all the outlets and even trimmed them before putting them back to make sure they stayed safe.  He is very nice, caring and does great work!

Power went out to half my house, centered around the bedrooms.  I contacted Jose and he arrived in less than 24 hours.  Communication and professionalism were unrivaled.  His team troubleshot the issue quickly and repaired the faulty junction box.  Quality of work was exceptional. I'm going to be contacting him soon for some more work as he and his team fantastic!

I hired for a Tesla charger installation in my home garage. Sent an email in the am, very quickly Arash called me and set up a time to come for initial inspection for same day. Cale by in the evening and performed the installation which took a couple hours. Clean installation process from start to end. He knows his stuff and will definitely recommend him.

Laser and Sons completed a couple projects at my home. The work turned out great and was completed to the exact specifications that were quoted.
Alfonso was very responsive and checked in multiple times during the project, it was obvious that he cared and was on top of everything that was being done. He provided a competitive and detailed bid, and I am very happy to have had him work on this project.

I wish I could give 10 stars for the incredible service I received tonight! Our heat and kitchen lost power randomly and I panicked with it being middle of winter and we have a 6-month-old baby at home. Brian graciously made an emergency house call and fixed our breakers (which had melted!). My baby will sleep warm in her home tonight now that our heat is restored. I'm so grateful to have him local! Rick and his team came on time and find burned switch. Fixed and cleaned up and did few more things that I asked them to do.
My refrigerator  plug is fixed and others one that stop working is now functional.

Cole came out to our house early last month after we had a series of incidents where our circuit breakers kept tripping. He made a minor fix, though didn't seem to get to the root of the problem. Charged us a reasonable sum, $210, and said if the problem recurs to call him and he'll pop right out.

Three weeks later, the problem recurred (though in 2 different rooms). We called him at 8:30 in the morning on a Friday and didn't get a callback. Called his cell phone at 12:30 and he answered while on a job in San Jose. He remembered us and said he'd be out to take a look in 2 hours.

Two, three, four hours passed and nothing. At 4:30 I texted him, no response. At 5:30 I called him, no answer. At 5:45 he called me, but thought he was responding to someone else. Would he come out that evening, or the next day? Can't. I'm on an important job, he said.

Which told me everything about his priorities.

I had some issues with my A/C wiring and few other outlet issues in my house. I called Ed as he came highly recommended by my agent. He was prompt gave me a fair estimate. He completed the work in time with no mess and reduced my bill at the end because it was less than what he estimated. I will definitely call him for all my electrical work.

I highly recommend Anthony Electric, i.e. Yovani who gave me a very reasonable price and high quality service for recessed lights installation and one minor repair. I also appreciate that they put paper everywhere to protect my hardwood floor. I will definitely use their services in the future.
