I was looking to hire a handyman for some fix ups around my house. I contacted Ryan about the job and he came over promptly and looked around. Took a couple of pictures and a couple of days later sent me a quote for it. The quote didn't include everything that I had mentioned and in addition to that, everything was ridiculously high.
Then, when I sent him a response he tried to gouge me even further for doing the floor.
It's amusing to come up with such a crazy number and not even have the dimensions of the room at the very least. Clearly, he didn't want to work with me and that's fine, but just tell me instead of trying to rob me.

I had used Hope electric before and they did the job. This time I called about installing a chime button for a musical doorbell. It is a unique button as it has to have a diode attached to make the music play. He wasn't familiar, but no problem. Never heard from him again, even though i called several times. Doesn't matter the reason, not either setting a time to do the work or calling back to say can't do it is a bad business practice.

They did a great job for me and were very easy to work with.

Sam was terrific helping me fix the issues created when we had a PG&E transformer blow up on our street. It blew out my garage door opener, my doorbell, 2 GFI outlets, my Keurig coffee machine, my Sonicare toothbrush and several other things in my house. Sam came in and quietly and efficiently fixed everything, and at a very reasonable price.
Thanks. Marilyn

They were prompt to respond to my initial call . The electrician did come at the said time to take a look and said he would give me an estimate in a few days. I never heard from them since. I texted multiple times but there was no response. I provided them with my email for a quote . No email either .

Gomez Electric came out on short notice. Alvaro was very polite, thorough and knowledgeable. I would definitely use them again

Dave did a fantastic job installing and hanging our chandeliers! He was professional, efficient and also very humorous. We're very happy with the overall service and results.

We called Bob with a strange electrical issue we were having, and he gave us some things to try over the phone, free of charge. When that didn't work, we asked Bob to come out and take a closer look at the problem. He did a thorough inspection and found that it was a PG&E issue, which PG&E later solved for us. Throughout the entire experience, Bob was upfront and honest about his pricing and diagnosis of the problem.
Thanks Bob!

Extremely responsive. They gave us a good, competitive bid and did an excellent job for us. We would definitely hire them again, and would recommend them to anyone. Very professional with fair and reasonable prices. We needed an outlet inside our fireplace for a log insert. They went out of their way to run the power through the attic instead of cutting a hole in our paneling. We couldn't be happier with their service.

Quick, professional service that was completed on-time and all permitted through the city of San Jose, Arash and team did a fantastic job.
The project for my home was to install a NEMA 14-50 eletrical outlet on the side of my home, in order to connect a ChargePoint electric car charger. The difficulty was also I was having solar installed by a different team, so I needed to a 150 AMP subpanel installed to allow the 50A ChargePoint to have adequate power. Arash and team did the following:
- Installed 150A subpanel, all wired to main panel to allow solar in future, on the side of our home
- Installed/mounted/wired ChargePoint Car Charger
- Installed/mounted/wired NEMA 14-50 outlet
All of this work Arash and team got permitted with the city of San Jose, so everything is on the level. There was one small miscommunication on my part (how I wanted the cable to exit from under my home) and Arash fixed it quickly and cleanly. All of this larbor intensive work cost $3800, including materials and permitting. The entire time Arash and team was willing to communicate over text, which was very helpful for someone working all the time! I was able to ask all the question I wanted to make myself comfortable with the process.
Highest recommendations from Arash and team.

Gustavo an his team did fabulous job in fixing some electrical things when we bought our new home. He came and gave us an estimate before starting the job. On the day of job, his team arrived on time...did all the work beyond our expectations. He is our go to person for any electrical job in future also.

Seth (Switched Electric): 1 main circuit panel replaced, upgraded, brought up to code; 1 ChargePoint electric vehicle charging station installed; 2 smart network connected thermostats installed. Exactly what I wanted, when I needed it. Carefully done. Skillfully. With integrity. Highly recommended.

I wish I could give 10 stars for the incredible service I received tonight! Our heat and kitchen lost power randomly and I panicked with it being middle of winter and we have a 6-month-old baby at home. Brian graciously made an emergency house call and fixed our breakers (which had melted!). My baby will sleep warm in her home tonight now that our heat is restored. I'm so grateful to have him local! Will definitely be calling again for all my electrical needs. Thank you Brian!

This license is suspended and can not be working with it. He instead uses someone else license. The worst electrical company you can call. Jim, who is the owner is only motivated by money. He wants to sell you a 200 amp electrical panel for $15,000 when I called a different electric and he charged we $5000 with inspection. In Jim proposal he never mentioned a inspection and when I asked he said that it wasn't necessary, which is complete lies since electrical panels clearly need inspections to make sure it is done to code.

Rick and his team were extremely professional, knowledgeable, and quick to come and help us with a pendant light installation. Even after a faulty pendant, they were happy to come back and install our replacement light - after using their company I will surely turn to them for any home issue we have in the future as I trust their judgement and their ability to diagnose and fix problems without making us feel incompetent for the little we know about this stuff! I highly recommend them and will definitely be using them in the future.

Cole came out to our house early last month after we had a series of incidents where our circuit breakers kept tripping. He made a minor fix, though didn't seem to get to the root of the problem. Charged us a reasonable sum, $210, and said if the problem recurs to call him and he'll pop right out.
Three weeks later, the problem recurred (though in 2 different rooms). We called him at 8:30 in the morning on a Friday and didn't get a callback. Called his cell phone at 12:30 and he answered while on a job in San Jose. He remembered us and said he'd be out to take a look in 2 hours.
Two, three, four hours passed and nothing. At 4:30 I texted him, no response. At 5:30 I called him, no answer. At 5:45 he called me, but thought he was responding to someone else. Would he come out that evening, or the next day? Can't. I'm on an important job, he said.
Which told me everything about his priorities.

I had a problem with my outlets and I had tried to reset at the outlet and the circuit breaker and it didn't work. But Ed talked to me on the phone to try to help me troubleshoot and taught me how to fix the problem free of charge! Definitely an honest electrician who knows his stuff.
THANK YOU!

Needed a car charger installed. He found a way to run a new line that others who looked at the problem did not consider, thus saving time/effort/money. Nothing is cheap these days when it involves skilled labor, but I'm really happy with the result. Solid job. Highly recommended.
