We were referred to Ryan by a friend.  Asked him for help with a tricky clogged drain and even though it went longer than expected he was very patient and stayed until late night to resolve the issue.  We highly recommend him and will definitely use his services again.

I had several electrical projects that needed to be completed at our home.  Connor was amazing and tackled each one systematically.  He was very professional, courteous and an extremely competent electrician.  I will contact John Hope Electric for any projects we may have in the future.

Wilson is very professional and efficient. He helped me solve some issues with my rigid conduit requested by PG&E for my electrical panel upgrade. I needed help fast because this problem blocked my house remodel inspection.  Wilson is very flexible to support my timing needed. And he did a great job fixing the issue.  Highly recommended!

I really put Sam and his helpers through their paces in the past month: a serious underground conduit repair, establishing a new appliance circuit, adding a 220v outlet to a workshop, and finally, a subtle and difficult maneuver involving connecting a built-in appliance to a box that was just a few inches in the wrong place, inside a tight-as-a-drum installation space. While working in the main panel he proclaimed the work space too dark (which it was), so he threw in a utility light while he was in there. I'm completely satisfied with the work, the prices, and Sam's optimistic, can-do spirit.

The most difficult job, finding and fixing an underground electrical line that traveled partly under the driveway, partly right through the roots of a tree (the line having arced, melted and burned while underground!), was fixed durably and beautifully. Another electrician had refused to even attempt it, saying we should bypass the underground line and just string an ugly overhead line to the workshop. Not Sam: he had it diagnosed, found, dug up and repaired before the day was out.

A neighbor referred Alpha General Electric to me, saying Sam maintained a number of her rental properties. Which said to me that he's seen it all, and become resourceful at finding problems and fixing them quickly and on a budget. I was not disappointed.

When we had a heatwave and our AC fried our outlet, they were the only electrician that responded  to work us into their schedule. They were reliable, punctual, effective and very knowledgeable. We are so happy to have them as a resource in case we need an electrician again.

Gomez electric was very fast to respond to all of our questions and were able to slip us into their schedule sooner than we had hoped. The work was done quickly and efficiently, and it looks great! We just had a small job with installing some extra outlets for Christmas lights And they made it look like it was original construction!

Dave did a fantastic job installing and hanging our chandeliers! He was professional, efficient and also very humorous. We're very happy with the overall service and results.

Bob is the best electrician I've ever dealt with. He is a real professional and his works are extremely precise. If I need more electric changes in my house, I will definitely ask him again.

I asked Bob to modify 8 cups of recessed lights in the kitchen. There were recessed halogen lights previously and I wanted to install LED ones. He did an excellent job! He removed all existing cups for halogen lights and installed new cups designed for LED. In the process, he cleaned up all existing mess in the ceiling. I love his work ethic to do it rigorously.

Also I like how closely he communicates with customers. During the project, he communicated clearly to me about everything including estimate, schedule, what he is doing, and next steps in text messages and in-person conversations. I always felt I knew what would happen in the next step and what I could expect as a result. I did never need to worry about the project in the process. This excellence is rare in the US.

Unfortunately, my electrical panel decided to fail in the middle of a Saturday night. I mean, who do I call besides PG&E? Turned to Yelp to find a local electrician to temporarily restore power. Because he was stacked with projects, he couldn't work on a permanent fix for me.

Next day, on a Sunday, I started searching for an electrician. I didn't expect anyone to respond, but J.R. Electrical texted back and troubleshoot the problem via text and photos. As of this writing, out of 6 contacted, only 2 responded.

Felt bad for telling them I'll use another electrician, but they were totally cool with it and was even glad I found a solution. Although I went with a referral from a family member, I appreciate J.R. Electrical for their responsiveness and willingness to help troubleshoot. Their friendly and honest communication was what put me at ease. Now I have their contact information on my phone to call first for future issues.

Note to self: line up (get references) professionals that can help fix household issues, especially when it happens in the middle of the night.

I hired for a Tesla charger installation in my home garage. Sent an email in the am, very quickly Arash called me and set up a time to come for initial inspection for same day. Cale by in the evening and performed the installation which took a couple hours. Clean installation process from start to end. He knows his stuff and will definitely recommend him.

We decided to update and improve the lighting in 4 rooms of our home with recessed lights. I obtained 5 different estimates and went with Laser and Sons. They were knowledgeable and the only ones that pointed out specific placement of lights - like directly over the sink, and above the peninsula and pantry - to maximize lighting over those areas. They installed a total of 20 lights for a very reasonable price. The crew was fast and did an excellent job. (One is a Marine like my son, which made me even happier I went with this company and I enjoyed talking with him as he worked). They took the time to use a laser beam to make sure the lights in 3 adjoining rooms (kitchen, dining and family rooms) were all lined up with each other perfectly. What a difference this upgrade has made.

On top of the excellent installation, they went above and beyond. A few weeks later one of the lights went out, so I contacted them. They came right out to fix it and we realized another company I hired to resurface the ceiling had accidentally detached the light when they pulled it down to paint. A 10-second fix. I'd definitely call Laser and Sons if I need electrical work in the future.

Seth and Sharon are the best. Seth answered every question we had and told us what to do before we should pay for any electrician work. He's incredibly responsive to yelp messages and chats. He made the process of replacing a circuit breaker panel easy and painless. I highly recommend Switched Electric!

Every electrical problem we've ever had, Brian and his crew showed up the same day to fix the problem.  He is truly an expert at what he does.  I've never met an electrician that understood the craft better than he does.  He is trustworthy, fair, hard working, and has made our home safe.

Our home was built in the 70's and has the original electric panels.  As a safety precaution, we had Jim check it out.  Jim was very understanding and was easy to work with.  He was very knowledgeable and what he didn't know he was not afraid to say.  He did tons of research before coming to us with the best solution.  We felt comfortable enough for him to do the upgrade while we were away. We contacted Rick on a Sunday morning because of a partial power problem in our home.  He got back to us in a very short time and provided reassurance and information to us over the phone, preventing an unneeded housecall. I would not hesitate to contact him for any future electrical concern/problem!

Cole was great to work with.  The fastest person to get back to me when I called a bunch of electricians and came out on a weekend to give a me a quote.  He was very reasonably priced, friendly to work with, and passionate about the job.  Very happy with Cole's work.

Ed is a true professional. I had him do recessed lights and the job was complicated. He also installed my electric car charger. Ed recommended dimmers on remote control. It was only $40 more and works perfectly. I had no crawl space and double drywall. Ed was amazing.  He was on time, clean and extremely talented. He stayed on time and on budget as well as communicating with me the entire time. I highly recommend Ed and Chris.

Update:  Talk about AMAZING customer service.  There was some miscommunication about there being a GFI plug so we thought that the Christmas lights and power had gone back out a week after they fixed the breaker box.  Now get this: I messaged them at 5:30pm on December 22nd letting them know that the lights were not working again after they fixed the breaker box.  30 minutes later the guy who had fixed the breaker showed up at my door before even messaging me back and showed me where the gfi reset was on his own time since he happened to be Christmas shopping near by.  WOW.  I may never see customer service like that again.  I better savor this.  WOW.  Thank you!
