I emailed cockrum handyman service to remove 2 dressers a bed and 5 boxes out of bedroom,(15 minutes at most)wash walls(1 hour at most)and paint room(3 hours at most)then move furniture back in.(15  minutes at most)I would supply all paint and materials.without coming to see the job he gave me an estimate of $2,000.about 5 hours of work...if you think I'd pay $400 an hour your nuts.if you wanna pay $400 an hour go ahead but it's ridiculous.my star is a caution star

I spoke with Katrina about an electrical problem I was having at my condo.  She was extremely knowledgeable and didn't charge an arm and a leg to fix it.  I will never use another electrician in the Sana Cruz area.  The place really IS as good as it gets!  GIve them a call.

Wilson was prompt, knowledgeable and did good work. He gave a competitive bid to install an EV charge Point hard wired into box. Really nice guy. I'll definitely hire him again.

I've worked with Cross Electrical twice and both times they arrived on time and got the job done exactly how I wanted. Putting in a job order is as simple as e-mailing them, setting up an appointment, and preparing your space for their arrival.

I highly recommend Cross Electrical for their professionalism, convenience, and competitive pricing. I had some recessed lighting converted to bluetooth speakers and high ceiling stairway lights replaced (because the bulb-gripping extension rod from Lowes failed). They also mounted and installed a pair of beautiful new lighting fixtures and gave me advice on how to replace my kitchen lighting. My home was all ready for holiday gatherings by the time Cross Electrical was done. I can't thank them enough!

Alvaro was very professional and did great work. He fixed a ceiling fan and installed some wifi light switches. I really appreciate that he wore shoe covers in our house and placed a drop cloth down around the areas where he was working.

Dave came over to my house to take a look at some ceiling fans which were noisy.  I made some quick and easy adjustments to them and now they are quiet.  He did a great job.

Bob is fantastic!  Called him today after a bunch of things in my bathroom shut off - after describing my problem and explaining the diagnostics I had already run, he kept coming back to it likely being a GFI trip....upon his advice, did one more lap of the bathroom and realized way inside the linen closet, covered behind a bunch of towels, was an outlet that was tripped and turns out this box fed the entire bathroom with power.   One click and my problem solved! I had just moved into this place, so never realized it was there and didn't see it the first time and probably would have dismissed it if it wasn't for Bob's keen sense that what I was describing sure sounded like a GFI problem.  He did this all free of charge - just and honest practioner being a great community member.   Greatly appreciated Bob!!!  I'll be calling you back to come out for an estimate for my electric car charger!

Quick, professional service that was completed on-time and all permitted through the city of San Jose, Arash and team did a fantastic job.

The project for my home was to install a NEMA 14-50 eletrical outlet on the side of my home, in order to connect a ChargePoint electric car charger. The difficulty was also I was having solar installed by a different team, so I needed to a 150 AMP subpanel installed to allow the 50A ChargePoint to have adequate power. Arash and team did the following:

- Installed 150A subpanel, all wired to main panel to allow solar in future, on the side of our home
- Installed/mounted/wired ChargePoint Car Charger
- Installed/mounted/wired NEMA 14-50 outlet

All of this work Arash and team got permitted with the city of San Jose, so everything is on the level. There was one small miscommunication on my part (how I wanted the cable to exit from under my home) and Arash fixed it quickly and cleanly.  All of this larbor intensive work cost $3800, including materials and permitting. The entire time Arash and team was willing to  communicate over text, which was very helpful for someone working all the time! I was able to ask all the question I wanted to make myself comfortable with the process.

I hired Gustavo and his crew to install some recessed lighting in my two-story house (and also install a Nest thermostat and fix my electric fireplace). I was very worried about them making a mess of the ceiling. Instead, they did an outstanding job on the lighting with no issues whatsoever. This included installing lights on very high, pitched ceilings. Moreover, I was blown away by the care they took to cover everything in the house to do the work so as to not make a mess. When they left, you could hardly tell workers had been there at all. I would hire Gustavo and crew for any future projects. Professionals all the way!

Every electrical problem we've ever had, Brian and his crew showed up the same day to fix the problem.  He is truly an expert at what he does.  I've never met an electrician that understood the craft better than he does.  He is trustworthy, fair, hard working, and has made our home safe.

As a previous employer for Los Gatos Electric i can justify my rating. I worked for Jim Holliday also known as James Holliday for 10 months in his office doing all his paperwork and I know that he does LOTS of fraudulent things, from not paying employees (Fraud with payroll) never actually giving a paystub, only giving a time card as a paystub. He failed to give me my W2 on time because he never did payroll like he said he would do. He instead offered me a check for all the money that he had taken from my taxes. This is illegal.

He cheats all of this clients, over pricing and not completing the service he promised.

Don't trust Charles Fredrick as he is GREAT a brainwashing clients and future employees to a join Los Gatos Electric, offering benefits that will be taken away in less then a month.

No electrician has lasted more then 6 months and it can be proven.

Jim doesn't have a valid license to work and doesn't have workers comp. Be on the look out.

We had an issue with a breaker on our electric panel and a general contractor referred us to Rick at B & B Electric.  Rick came out quickly and was able to diagnose the problem and offered several solutions.  Because we had a fairly dangerous Zinsco Panel, we decided to replace and upgrade the entire electric panel as well as relocate it.  Rick is fast and professional.  His work is very clean and attractive and he scheduled and met with the city inspector for our permit.  He even worked with our home warranty provider to help cover some of the repairs.

A few weeks later when I was having issues with my pool pump, he came out quickly and diagnosed and repaired the electrical system for the pool.  His repair included changing the voltage of the pumps which should reduce the cost of operation.  Very smart!

I highly recommend Rick and B&B.  Professional, clean, and fast.  On top of that, he is a very, very nice guy.

Cole completed a panel upgrade and backyard lighting project for me recently ,I reached out to a few electricians for a quote and he was in line with many of the reasonable quotes and on finally working out schedules etc. I went with cole. He had a very open and clear communication style and i was able to let him know what i needed exactly and he completed the work in time and ensured the small changes were accommodated as the project progressed. One thing i liked about him is follow up  , he followed up on a item that retailer  had shipped and came back and installed it  as part of the initial contract. He also left things they way they were supposed to and fixed my drywall to my satisfaction. Overall I will definitely recommend him for projects.

Ed at Eagle Electric is my go to guy!  I am a local Real Estate agent and am VERY picky about the vendors I use and recommend!  I only use and refer honest, reliable, knowledgeable vendors with good pricing and Ed fits the bill!  I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an excellent electrician.

We needed two 14-50 outlets installed for our new electric vehicle chargers. Initially I wanted two installed on the main house panel and one on the granny unit panel, but they were so nice to explain how the panels work and explained that the main house panel could not handle two 50 amp chargers at the same time so it would be a waste of money to put in 3 outlets. I will be able to do it cheaper getting a dual  charger with two cords that I can program to charge at different times in the night. They were so nice and totally fine with me watching them do it and even took the time to explain to me what they were doing and how the different wires were color coded and showed me how to use a multimeter to check the output if there were ever a problem with my charger.  They were also the least expensive of the quotes I got and did it the same day!
I would definitely recommend them and will ask them to return for any future electrical needs.
