Thanks Massis and Eric, that was an awesome experience! An excellent outcome, great personalities, quick adaptable folks but also thorough and effective , I had first thought I was just getting a quick survey and bid. Since I had already emailed a detailed plan, Massis arrived, assessed the requirements, then on the spot gave me a competitive bid and when his co-worker arrived was ready to get started.

I was looking to have both an EV charging circuit inside our garage and a pair of outside carriage light boxes installed. The solution included a compete sub panel from the mains to cover heavy power requirements for the EV and AC circuits and the carriage light mounts required drilling through brick. Massis noticed I had an extension cable powering a security camera (which also doubles for holiday lights). He recommended installing a circuit from the new sub-panel to a GFI protected exterior weather shielded outlet for a very reasonable additional cost.The finished installations were immaculate and any access holes neatly cleaned up.

It is heartening to find professionals with  such as Massis and his team. I will certainly plan to call on their services for any future electrical work we need.

I contacted Mark about replacing a 100 amp main breaker to my rental property with an 80 yr old tenant without power. He gave me an estimate over the phone after I explained the situation. He switched his morning appt and came over within an hr and did the job. Clean, courteous, and did a great job at the price quoted. Excellent  response time and I have a happy tenant. Highly recommend.  Had an appliance that broke down and I got a replacement but when I was installing it, I realized I had the wrong electrical connector!  It needed a 220V socket and I only had a 110V outlet.  

Looked up on Yelp and found Rodriguez Electric.  Very quick to return my call and came by the same day after hours on his way home from another job.  Talk about good customer service!  He took a look and gave a very reasonable quote for the work.  

I was very limited in the time that we could get this done and they went out of their way to accommodate my schedule and got the work done without any issue.  Great work.  They got the work done before some other even got around to returning my call.  I now know who to call for any electrical work and will be using Rodriguez Electric for all my electrical needs.  Thanks!

Used JLG Electrician J. Lopez for both new construction and remodeling electrical work for my house and mobile home. His work was top notch and very reasonable prices.  Was prompt,  professional and got the job done right. I have recommended to my friends and will use again!

I called service champions to repair my central air conditioner condenser unit that is not working. Their technician came and spent some time to diagnose the problem and vaguely said there are couple of things going wrong, some fuses blown out, and some issue with PGE smartAC box interfering with unit. He said it would cost around $600, but he can reduce it to $500 by subscribing to their VIP service program. Since, my unit is old one, may be about 20 years, I wanted to wait on any repairs to see what would be the replacement cost.  So I said I will decide on the repairs later, so he said he would put the things back in place and left. I later noticed, he left couple of nuts and bolts on the floor near the unit, did not  put back them properly and old fuses left near the unit. I then googled about the fuses, bought two of them for $10, the unit is working again.

I am really unhappy with the service since I paid $89 for the diagnosis, instead I received sales push to purchase a service contract, and few left things on the floor. (On the bright side, now I know what fuses are used in air conditioners and how much they cost  ). Even though I am able to put those bolts back, I am not sure of the refrigerant status, I need another technician for that. Sigh..

Next day I received a call from their service manager since I rated their service as poor, he listened to my feedback and sent another technician to complete the diagnosis, he came and ran few tests and said the things look fine, doesn't need any new repairs as of now, but since the system is old, it could fail in near future. (And he generously put two new bolts without any charge.)

Even though, they tried to do the best second time, they should have done a proper diagnosis the first time without trying to sell me any services, which makes me wary of recommending them.

We had an electrical short and smoke from a fixture in a home we rented out. The Fire Department responded, turned off all the power, cut and taped several wires in the electrical outlet. They told us not to turn the power back on until an electrician repaired the outlet. It was around 9 PM and we had to find an electrician. We called Mr. Wong and he was at the house in a few minutes. Working by flashlight, he quickly replaced the burned wires, installed a new outlet and turned on the power. We were impressed by the speed with which he corrected the problem and the price was extremely reasonable. We have his business card and he will be the go to guy for any future electrical problems. If there were 6 stars, I would have given him 6 stars.

After I described the problem with my home theater over the phone, Cham came over and fixed it in 10 minutes! And at no charge! Very efficient and professional....I would highly recommend his services.

Wife and I am fortunate to have found Jeff on Craigslist. We recently acquired a home in the south bay that required a lot of work. Jeff helped us tremendously and we are very happy with the quality of his work and the level of service he had provided.  This guy is very talented and can do just about anything around the house.

Jeff is very easy to work with, honest, and has great communication skills. I appreciate Jeff  being upfront about the costs and how long each project will take. There were a few things I saved money on by doing it myself. Jeff basically showed me what I need to do and how to do it. If you're looking for someone to do high quality work in a reasonable amount of time, go with Jeff.

We initially wanted can lights only, but take a look at what Jeff ended up doing for us. Below are a list of things Jeff had worked on:

I needed a quick fix to a door problem and contacted Nick after looking for local handymen in the area. While he was busy he kindly squeezed me into his schedule after talking about the door issue. Really nice and explained what he was doing every step of the way. I was pleasantly surprised that he is a licensed contractor, not all handymen are, so his knowledge base/skill set is vast. His rates were fair and he has a really cool mobile work station with all the tools one could ever need for a job. I'm definitely hiring him again for future projects. A dependable knowledgeable handyman with good communication skills is a rare find these days so he's a keeper for home issues. He was pretty local to me but actually services a wide area in the Bay Area from the east bay to southbay.

Ricardo did the electrical work for our new kitchen adding new circuits for integrated lighting, new oven, cooktop, recessed lights, and a lot more. Ricardo is really friendly, super punctual, works fast, and just does great work. He measured carefully where the recessed lights should go so they're centered and line up, really rigorous and meticulous work. It was a pleasure working with Ricardo. Additionally I felt like his pricing was reasonable compared to other quotes we got, not price gouging us.

Mike was quick to respond, knowledgeable and very helpful. He gave me detailed breakdown of the issue I had with my electrical panel. He co-ordinated with PG&E and had my power functional in a few hours from the first call! Highly recommend

Exceptional job! Called me within 30 minutes of me messaging the business. Was able to work on electrical problem that day. Clearly described the testing and resolution steps before proceeding. Fixed the problem very quickly and Sherman Electric's rates were very reasonable.

Have worked with Chris on everything from a major home remodel (brilliant suggestions) to help, when it rains our internet doesn't work problems. Ron was helpful to discuss my EV charger install and all the options.   I  finally decided to add a 50 Amp circuit breaker in the Main panel and run conduit to the garage with surface mounted conduits.   Ron did a beautiful and very professional  job for my EV Charger install in the garage.  The job is done professionally, clean and esthetically.  His assistant, Chris, is very personable and great on the job,  they team up and get the job done quick  and complete.
They are prompt on the appointment and response to phone communication.  I am glad that I select RPG Electric to do the project.

Was looking for a structural contractor to help inspect the foundation of a home we were closing escrow on. I talked to William who was excellent at providing information and estimate cost of repairs needed which helped put our minds at ease. Highly recommend the company for their quick response time. Even on a holiday weekend!

Hired him to replace our bathroom faucet. He was fast and efficient. Reasonable price as well.

Hired him again a few weeks later to mount two TVs. The faucet he installed was a little loose and quickly fixed the problem when he came to mount the TVs.

This is my updated review after 2 years.

Few days ago , I had a Charging slowed/poor grid power quality notification when I am charging my Tesla. I was only getting 16A out of my regular 32A. I contacted Tesla and they said it could be my EV charger issue.so I contacted Mark to get some information  and he and his team came over to check on their work right away. Mark has been very helpful, he back up his work , being very supportive and knoon his workmanship even it has been 2 years after my initial installation.

So after all, the issue was my Tesla's power converter needed to be replaced under warranty.
my AC charger was verified good as new.

Mark, thank you so much for being there when I am in need. I truly appreciated your kind help on my recent issue with charging! I will only contact you for all my future electrical needs! You and your team are AWESOME !!!!!

After reading the reviews, I gave JET a call and left a message.  Call was returned in a very timely manner.  Jim came to the house as promised (on a very short notice), surveyed the situation, made some recommendations, and it was full steam ahead.  Very pleased with the quality and timeliness of the work.  Highly recommended!!
