We got Hourmouz to install recessed lights in three rooms, two with attic access and one without. Hourmouz visited the place and gave us a quote. The quote was very reasonable. He finished the work on time. Hourmouz and Alan did an excellent job. We were extremely satisfied with their work. They even patched the dry wall and ceiling, textured and painted it. They even fixed a three way switch which wasn't working correctly (I didn't even have to ask for it) Hourmouz and his crew are very professional and excellent in their work. We have all heard the clichés and horror stories of hiring skilled tradesmen and often prefer to rely on personal recommendations from our friends and relatives for fear of getting cheated or mislead. Let me put it this way, I will gladly refer D&C to my elderly parents without any hesitation or my blind uncle with a wonky leg if I had one.

After hours of searching, the Yelp Gods pointed me in the direction of Alpha Omega Electric...which is why I'm awake at 2 AM on a Sunday morning writing this review to thank them because I have a new-found appreciation for the electricians out there, like Jesse, Albert and Taylor, that are constantly putting themselves at risk to do their jobs safely for people like me. Background:
I just bought a Tesla last week so I needed and EV charger installed asap. I called Jesse and he and his team (Albert and Taylor) were fantastic. Quick turnaround and great work. Jesse walked me through several different options and gave me his honest opinion based on my needs, while saving me on unnecessary costs. In addition to the EV charger installation, they also replaced an old sub-panel.

Why I would hire Alpha Omega again:

They were very professional and arrived promptly at the scheduled time. They adhered to all safety protocols and ensured a seamless transition to the new subpanel.

Throughout the project, they consistently exhibited excellent communication and customer service. I had lots of questions and Jesse addressed ALL my questions and concerns. About a month ago I had Carlos from Flores Electric come out to fix a grounding problem.  (Previous workers, not qualified electricians, (my fault,) installed some lights in the garage.  People from the house, picking up the mail would get an electric shock if they touched the garage door.)  Carlos fixed it without any fuss and for a reasonable price.

Last week I had Flores Electric come out again to install some lighting in a bedroom.  They were patient with me and were careful to pay attention to the persnickety layout that I wanted.  They did a good job.  Rey, the owner came out to check on their work and I'm happy with the results.   Not only was the estimate reasonable but Rey's final price cut some off the estimate because the work had been easier than anticipated.   I'm saying this not to get you haggling with him, but to let you know that I trust their honesty.

I was able to schedule Absolute on short notice to fix some office lighting issues. Absolute was upfront with their cost and kept me informed through their troubleshooting process.  In the end everything was fixed efficiently, professionally and for a fair price.

I used mainstream for a house rewire of mine and I was completely impressed with everything. From start to finish they were very courteous very professional and very understanding of their trade. From supervisor to the technicians they did a great job . The office was great how they handled the job they finished my home in a reasonable time frame their pricing was very reasonable as well. A job big or small I would definitely  recommend anyone to use mainstream electric.

I needed a TV Mount to be installed, along with bike racks, curtain rods and fixing the toilet flush tank.

Rostislav and Vlad were very professional and did a great job with all the installations. They were on time and completed the work as promised. The TV mount installation took longer than promised but they did not charge me for the extra time.

We chose Precision Electric as we live in Livermore (so aim to support our local mechanics). We had a very odd situation with an entire wall of outlets blown out in our kitchen. I consider myself to be really very mechanical, but was stumped. In retrospect, I feel a little sheepish because the solution was so obvious. I phoned Mark, (cell phone so I got him immediately), and before he even agreed to come visit, he insisted we walk through and rule out possible scenarios in order to eliminate what the problem could possibly be. Turned out (I surmised) I had dripped water from our pull-out kitchen faucet onto the electrical plug, when I was filling the tank of our coffee machine. My bad. So the Ground Fault Circuit Interruption outlet did its thing, and I had not even noticed it because that particular outlet has a lamp and a phone plugged in there. I put the phone down, went back to the kitchen, and lo and behold, that was the solution.  I cleared and then reset the GFCI button, and that fixed the problem. I asked Mark if I owed him anything, and he said no, so I am ever so grateful for this three-minute fix over the phone. What a great guy!  Precision Electric is now our electrician for this household. Considering this era of messing with people and taking advantage of them, this was a great experience from a fine, upstanding electrician. Couldn't ask for more.

I had several little things done during one service appointment a few months ago and also had a very high up ceiling light hung above stairs in a vaulted foyer. Jesse and his son did a fantastic job for a fair price. When one of the newly installed GFI outlets malfunctioned (not due to the installer) Jesse came right out and replaced it. No additional charges. I would use this company again anytime.

I wanted to install 2 security cameras. First was an easy installation by replacing an existing light fixture. Second was a little labor intensive where additional wiring and junction box was installed in the attic.
I had reached out to several electricians. Few of them came over and looked at the project from outside. Ivan was the only one who actually went to the attic and figured out what needs to be done. He was great at communicating and gave a reasonable estimate. I will definitely hire him again for future electrical work.

No call, no show.  Had an appointment with Brian at 3pm.  He texted me after 3pm to let me know he wasn't going to make it.  Not very helpful as I'd already gone out of my way to be available at this time.  Professional courtesy would have been a reasonable heads up.  Will take project elsewhere.

Seems I am the first one writing reviews for Mega Power.  They actually had more reviews for the LA branch.  I read those reviews and I can tell that Gary really cares about his reputation.

OK, my story.  I was thinking of installing solar in early 2022, after learning NEM 3.0 in California would be delayed indefinitely.  I started my journey with energysage.com, and got quotes from 6 local installers, including Mega Power Electric Inc.  I've also reached out to SunPower, and left my contact at Sunrun in Costco.  I finally decided to work with Mega Power for these reasons: 1. many positive reviews; 2. their price is very competitive; 3. I work directly with the owner German (Gary), who actually does the job.  No sales; no project managers.  While those sales people are nice and professional, the process is just as as efficient as talking directly with Gary.  Mega Power does everything very fast.  Gary came to our house and took some pictures; went back and shared his initial plan; we wanted two additional panels; Gary revised the plan (within 24 hours).  One or two weeks later, Gary and his people were on my roof.  Installation of 24 panels was done within one day.  City inspector initially had questions about the ground wire.  Gary and his team came back another time, and finished #4 ground wire upgrade within a couple of hours.  Passed city inspection.  Getting approvals from PG&E (final step) was a long story.  Gary and Mega Power did whatever they could to help and I appreciate that.  Overall experience with Mega Power was quite positive.  Definitely recommend Mega Power for their efficiency, work quality, and communication.  Additional data points I would like to share: while Gary and his team worked on installation, I was busy filing complaints with another company for their no show activity in the very first scheduled meeting. Oh, my wife and I already recommended Mega Power to another lady.  I probably should collect some referral fee from Gary.

Thank you for patiently explaining the electrical problem in a way that made it understandable. Thank you for coming on such short notice. Thank you for not charging me an arm & a leg for great service. I would recommend Al Smith Electric in a heartbeat!

I found Natalie off Amazon local deals for a buddy's restaurant (which has since folded) whose outlets were constantly on the fritz- seriously the lights and registers went on and off so often, the customers cracked jokes that we had a damned poltergeist in the fuse box. As my friend and I are so technically inept we can barely manage to change the damned ringtone on our smartphones, we got her over and long rambling story short: not only was Natalie prompt and professional, she was patient; and for us that makes all the difference.

I'm not going to pretend I understood what went wrong, what she did to make it right, but I appreciate the courtesy she showed us, taking the time to carefully and clearly explain to obvious technophobes how even if we understood nothing else, that the problem was fixed, and Natalie's card has a place of honor in my rolodex (yes I have a rolodex with the cracked plastic and the grease-printed index card, and no I don't know or care how to use google contacts).

I'll be using Natalie for all my personal and future commercial electrical needs- and if you're also needing the gremlins screwing with your lighting excised- you KNOW who you gonna call!?

Tyler was punctual, professional, straight forward, efficient, and reasonably priced. We needed wiring to complete our car electric super charger installation that our new home construction builder failed to complete. We will recommend him and use him again when other projects arise.

I've repaired my furnace 3 times since buying the home almost 20 years ago (IFC, ignitor & high temp sensor) I'm reasonably handy, but this time it was an error code 31 & it was giving me fits. there are a few things in the inducer system that could be at fault & I only have so many tools for testing & trouble shooting. I had Service Champions out for a system checkup about 8 years ago after receiving a discount coupon. the technician was polite & seemed knowledgeable. (looking back on that experience he seemed worried about something which has yet to be a problem) I requested a technician have a look @ the current issue & he  discovered that the reset switch on a temp sensor had popped. he reset the sensor, buttoned up the unit & handed me a bill for $69 stating that the reset may fail in 5 minutes, a week or 6 months... there was no telling. no further attempt to trouble shoot the system was done. what I didn't know was that the unit had already gone into lockout before the technician left the house. another call for service was placed with a company that is Diamond Certified. after explaining to the technician what I knew about the current issue it took him all of 5 minutes to determine that the sensor with the reset button (the same one that the Service Champions technician simply reset) had actually failed. the shotgun approach of Service Champions resulted in a waste of $69 & 4 additional days without a furnace.

Ivo was quick to respond and super knowledgeable. He was helpful in providing me options and communicating clearly. Extremely trustworthy, as I could not be at the property while they were doing the installation I actually had them do the entire installation and testing without me there. They locked up behind themselves and did a great job sending pictures of the functioning light after installation. Only reason for 4 and not 5 stars was that the price seemed a little steep. Ended up paying $400 for a little less than an hour of work to install an $100 light. Compare that to earlier in the day, paid $150 to have a new dishwasher installed (and old one hauled away). I was in a bind, so I made it work - but I'd probably shop around a bit next time.

I have a home built in1931 and experienced a short from the recent storms.

I couldn't figure out what was wrong.  The electrical in my home is an amalgam of patchwork fixes.  Many my doing.
