I seldom write reviews but felt compelled to do so for Hourmouz of Bay Sun Electric. He worked on the electrical portion of a recent remodel and did a good job. He was polite, helpful, and dependable, which is not always the case with many tradespeople. He worked hard and worked late to make sure we were not without power overnight during the remodel. Hourmouz was also flexible and willing to put in temporary measures to make things easier for us during the many months of remodel. Would strongly recommend him.

We have all heard the clichés and horror stories of hiring skilled tradesmen and often prefer to rely on personal recommendations from our friends and relatives for fear of getting cheated or mislead. Let me put it this way, I will gladly refer D&C to my elderly parents without any hesitation or my blind uncle with a wonky leg if I had one.

I don't really know where to start or what to say about D&C, they ARE THAT GOOD.

Daniel and Daniel Jr have been great to work with. Honest and knowledgeable are the words that come to mind. Daniel is very professional and has been very fair with his quotes and a stickler with his workmanship - with pride and strict adherence to the code.

Alpha and Omega are always my go to Electricians. Being in Real Estate I always make sure my clients have the best resources for all their needs; especially for their safety and health items that need attention on their homes. That's why when it comes to electrical work, i always refer Jesse and his team! So when my husband and i needed to get some work done at our place this summer, we naturally called Jesse and his team. They were beyond amazing, professional, hard working, and exceeded our expectations with the quality of work. They showed up early and they stayed late...they have a work ethic that is hard to find these days and they do it with enthusiasm and kindness. It was enjoyable having them around. It was just a great reminder of why they are my go to electricians for ourselves personally, and all my clients as well. Flores Electric replaced our attic fan last winter.   They were very responsive,  got the work done quickly and since I was still working from home at the time,  quietly.   Once they were done,  they demonstrated the fan working.    Now that it's getting warmer,  the new fan is working well and it's much quieter than the old fan.

This review is long overdue, but my recent interactions with Dave reminded me I needed to write a review for him!! We've used Dave a few times for electrical work and he has always done a wonderful job.

When we first moved into our home two years ago we had an old style breaker box( I can't remember what the old style is called, but is was probably original to the home from the 60's). We called another electrician, but my husband couldn't stand him. Second we called Dave and he seemed like an honest down to earth guy.  We are so glad we hired him!

Dave gave us a few options regarding the breaker box issue and he got the new breaker box installed within a couple of days.  He was very professional and cleaned up any mess he'd made.  We also had him remove old lighting in the master bedroom and install can lights. He also upgraded a few plugs to GFI's so we were compliant.

After living in our home for two years we were ready for some other lighting improvements. We didn't hesitate to call Dave.  Recently he removed the old wall sconce in our hallway that provided very little lighting and installed 2 can lights.  He also added a new bathroom fan and replaced the fan in another bathroom.  In one of the dining area's we had the old light removed add replaced it with two can lights.  In addition our living room had no lighting so we had been using these old standup lights. Those ugly lamps are now gone and have since been replaced with 4 new can lights with a dimmer.  It's been a few weeks since Dave installed the can lights in the living room. I never realized how much I needed light in our living room!

Dave is a great electrician and we will continue to hire him for all of our electrical needs.

After reading many reviews, I decided to hire them for a job at my residence.
Initially I was okay when the job was done. However I am disappointed that they did not return my calls or voice mails when I tried to report issues after the job. I tried for couple of months and gave up.  I came across CSLB license board site and see that their license is suspended. Then I called another telno. I spoke to a person by name Shane. He told me that the Tech who did the job was fired and thus he did not return calls and dropped my calls. I was surprised. I am still awaiting for them to fix warranty issue on the job.

Juan was very friendly and helpful, willing to explain the details. The communication was fast and easy. Quick service and good quality.

Ro is efficient in communicating; since he couldn't made it - Andrew & his team came for service. After I showed my problems at the house for service; item2 after his inspection - he suggested for professional plumbing service. Item1 supposed to be easy & fast - it turned out that my pre brought item didn't include replacement part that needed.
Andrew team went out night time to look for the part an hour, since Sat night most stores already closed. They finished up what they could have done with part and finished up the task. Monday - they went extra mile to look for the replacement and came back to finish up the complete task - which was more than I could have asked for it

I have to start by saying although we did not hire them  (explain why) I am glad I contacted them. I originally sent out a message as I didn't know why half of my kitchen outlets had stopped working. The Owner Mark K responded quickly and instead of saying I'm going to charge $$ this much to come out, he sent me a message telling me to try reset the GFCI outlets. We found 1 lose connection and resetting the outlets worked!

Wow, Jesse is awesome! He has been working with us on our home we have in Gilroy for over a month now, he wired up new electrical on everything ( home is old so everything had to be replaced pretty much), but he's gone ABOVE and BEYOND what we asked and what we had hoped he would do. He is very knowledgeable about other contractors in the area, and really knows his stuff as a licensed electrician. He installed new lights and fans in our bathrooms, 4 rooms and downstairs, in the kitchen, dining, living room and front areas. He also did the outside lights, and laundry room...and much much more.

We are very grateful to have found Jesse! It is rare to find someone that is very honest and does quality work, without overcharging.  When we had an issue with one of the people we were working with, Jesse stepped in to help us ( when he didn't have to) and it is easy to see he is just an all around great person. He puts in his own time and money to ensure his work is quality and even helped out the people who didn't do their work to his standards. He sets his bar high, and if others fail to meet it then he will do it what it takes to make sure that everything is done correctly.  

On a side note, he is dependable and reasonably priced. He takes pride in his work, and what he puts into a home. He is great with kids, and always is cheerful and kind to our son. He also was very helpful with communicating with other people, and acted as a mediator/liaison for us if there were any issues that arose. He also gave very helpful suggestions and tips! Ivan did a great job on helping install a new outlet in our bathroom. He was fast to response and reply my message. And finished everything within an hour. Very effective! Hope to work with you on our other home project in the future.

Excellent service by Archbold Electric. Responded quickly, gave me different solutions to my problem, and explained everything out. Other than that, Brian was on time and professional- did a great job and made sure it was all up to code. Reasonable on his pricing. This could not have been easier. Thanks Brian. Seems I am the first one writing reviews for Mega Power.  They actually had more reviews for the LA branch.  I read those reviews and I can tell that Gary really cares about his reputation.

OK, my story.  I was thinking of installing solar in early 2022, after learning NEM 3.0 in California would be delayed indefinitely.  I started my journey with energysage.com, and got quotes from 6 local installers, including Mega Power Electric Inc.  I've also reached out to SunPower, and left my contact at Sunrun in Costco.  I finally decided to work with Mega Power for these reasons: 1. many positive reviews; 2. their price is very competitive; 3. I work directly with the owner German (Gary), who actually does the job.  No sales; no project managers.  While those sales people are nice and professional, the process is just as as efficient as talking directly with Gary.  Mega Power does everything very fast.  Gary came to our house and took some pictures; went back and shared his initial plan; we wanted two additional panels; Gary revised the plan (within 24 hours).  One or two weeks later, Gary and his people were on my roof.  Installation of 24 panels was done within one day.  City inspector initially had questions about the ground wire.  Gary and his team came back another time, and finished #4 ground wire upgrade within a couple of hours.  Passed city inspection.  Getting approvals from PG&E (final step) was a long story.  Gary and Mega Power did whatever they could to help and I appreciate that.  Overall experience with Mega Power was quite positive.  Definitely recommend Mega Power for their efficiency, work quality, and communication.  Additional data points I would like to share: while Gary and his team worked on installation, I was busy filing complaints with another company for their no show activity in the very first scheduled meeting. Oh, my wife and I already recommended Mega Power to another lady.  I probably should collect some referral fee from Gary.

He is pleasant to work with and quickly and efficiently solves all of our electrical problems from small jobs to large-scale electrical improvements. Tyler B, was wrong that he mentioned about the charge upfront.  I promise that he didn't mention about the charge before he started the job.  He did ask me to pay him $250 after he power ON the switch.  It is insane to anyone to ask $250 just for a 10 seconds of work.  I will never do a business with you and don't recommend to anyone.  The way it sounded like I had to cover his advertisement cost.

I received a flyer for the $88 Tune-Up.  The technician arrived and did an inspection of the furnace and informed me that the furnace was old and not safe and could lead to a fire and there was nothing more he could do. He was in the house maybe 30 minutes. He then knocked off $40 & charged me $48 for a 'Safety Inspection'. I then asked for a quote for a new furnace & he said he would get back to me on it (which never happened).  Because I was concerned about the safety of the furnace I then called PG&E (which will do a safety inspection for free) who sent a technician out to inspect  the furnace and said it was old & probably not too efficient but was still safe to operate and gave me a written statement to that effect.  I initially thought maybe the flyer was a scam to sell you a new furnace - but since the guy never responded with a quote I assume they are honest but I'm not sure exactly what their business plan is. At any rate an $88 tune-up with 100% profit guarantee turned into a $48 'safety inspection' that PG&E  found was incorrect and then no followup regarding a replacement quote.

Ivo responded to my quote request and immediately came out the following day. His work is great and at a fraction of the price of all the other electricians. I will be definitely be using Ivo for all of my home electrical needs from now on.

I contacted Divine Electric to help install wired smoke and carbon monoxide alarms after ongoing problems. Comcast (alarm monitoring service) recommended I contact an electrician to install new smoke alarms (wired and backup batteries). Luckily, I contacted Divine Electric and Plumbing (always so polite and responsive).

Divine quickly made an electrician available-- Jae Joo-- to service my place. After reviewing the current smoke alarms, I also asked him to review other ongoing issues (lights flickering, outlets not working correctly, old electrical outlets/switches causing problems, and poor work done by others in the past), Jae made suggestions on installing/upgrading smoke alarms and other electrical issues. He also gave various options with several price levels (and possibly sequencing the project(s) if I chose to proceed with upgrades). I also requested if he could upgrade overhead lighting fixtures throughout the house (making them consistent and aesthetically much nicer). In response to my requested repairs and upgrades, Jae offered very fair prices on various projects. Without feeling pressured, I chose to proceed with the suggested projects. Jae completed the repairs and upgrades quickly and efficiently (11/2 days) at a very fair price.

In sum, Jae Joo of Divine Electric completed the project (repairs and upgrades) quickly, effectively, and efficiently while leaving the house spotless upon completion. I am so glad I found Divine Electric and its electrician, Jae Joo, should I have any electrical issues or upgrades needed in the future. Thank you, Divine and Jae.
