We had recessed lighting installed in our old home (had no recessed lighting at all before). The owner himself came to give us estimate. He was very professional and wasn't pushy at all.

It took us sometime before we can schedule a installation with him (he had previous big contract works) but it was worth a wait as his installation was very clean and professional. After installation it look as if my home has recessed lights preinstalled. :)

Our living room has a really high celling which took him sometime to get it done but he was very particular throughout the time. He was very punctual, professional (making sure none of other furniture gets messy) and was always on time every day. He also covered all the patches he made and applied paint on top (paint you have to provide as he wouldn't know what exact paint was on wall). Final finished work was really clean and can't even see where he fix the patch.

We really liked his work and has recommended to many of our friends and family.

I had some electrical issues that I had no idea was wrong. Called, made an appointment, and next thing you know everything was working great.

Rey was very helpful and informative. He explained everything. I like that very much cause I'm not familiar with electrical wiring. He's friendly and respectful. We had him fix an outlet that had a burning smell. That's pretty scary to me cause I've heard news of houses burning down due to damaged electrical circuits. He did some tests and looked for the problem. He found that a GFCI (learned some terms here) outlet burned. Good thing it's not the wiring in the walls. He explained the what and how it caused the problem. He even calculated the amps of the appliances we're using that caused the problem. He made suggestions and future solutions.

Dave called me immediately after posting on Yelp. Some electrical outlets were not working. He took his own time to explain how it can be diagnosed by resetting the circuit breakers such that we don't need to pay him to come and do the same. He was very friendly, honest, knowledgeable, and helpful. Just by asking which year the home was build, he helped us fix the problem over the phone for FREE. I wouldn't even considering looking for anyone else but Dave for all my future electrical needs. I haven't had such an experience with anyone else before, so I know I can trust him for all future work. THANK YOU DAVE!!

Rick from Main Stream Electric is a fantastic worker.I had three minor, but complicated electrical problems: miswired hot tub, rewired outdoor lights, and replacing a thermostat.Rick came out (called first to let me know he was coming) looked at each problem, got me a fair quote. Jesse came and gave me a free estimate to install 12 can recess lights in my home and install one celling fan. He also added dimmer switches. We spoke on a Tuesday and was able to come that weekend. He was honest,friendly, and very enthusiastic about the job. I quickly hired him and he was able to come back less than a week later to do the job. The job only took one day which included texturing the ceiling. It was beautifully done and I absolutely loved it. The texture wasn't what I pictured but I did end up liking it overall. I will definitely use Jesse again for any future jobs I have and I do recommend him.

Our bathroom light switch was broken, resulting in us having to override power via the circuit panel or deal with having the light on 24/7 until it was fixed. With today's energy bills being what they are, we chose the latter and fumbled our way around the darkened half of the house all weekend as a result.

Ivan came mid-morning Monday and helped us out in a pinch. Not only was he quick, efficient, and knowledgeable, but his prices were so much more reasonable than the other contractors we reached out to.

Would definitely use Ivan again for other mishaps around the house.

I asked Brian to help me with an update of a property of ours' meters. Brian made this process easy to handle. He was polite, knowledgeable, and very professional. He was really easy to work with and he answered communications quickly. He was fast at getting this project completed and his pricing very fair. Seems I am the first one writing reviews for Mega Power.  They actually had more reviews for the LA branch.  I read those reviews and I can tell that Gary really cares about his reputation.

OK, my story.  I was thinking of installing solar in early 2022, after learning NEM 3.0 in California would be delayed indefinitely.  I started my journey with energysage.com, and got quotes from 6 local installers, including Mega Power Electric Inc.  I've also reached out to SunPower, and left my contact at Sunrun in Costco.  I finally decided to work with Mega Power for these reasons: 1. many positive reviews; 2. their price is very competitive; 3. I work directly with the owner German (Gary), who actually does the job.  No sales; no project managers.  While those sales people are nice and professional, the process is just as as efficient as talking directly with Gary.  Mega Power does everything very fast.  Gary came to our house and took some pictures; went back and shared his initial plan; we wanted two additional panels; Gary revised the plan (within 24 hours).  One or two weeks later, Gary and his people were on my roof.  Installation of 24 panels was done within one day.  City inspector initially had questions about the ground wire.  Gary and his team came back another time, and finished #4 ground wire upgrade within a couple of hours.  Passed city inspection.  Getting approvals from PG&E (final step) was a long story.  Gary and Mega Power did whatever they could to help and I appreciate that.  Overall experience with Mega Power was quite positive.  Definitely recommend Mega Power for their efficiency, work quality, and communication.  Additional data points I would like to share: while Gary and his team worked on installation, I was busy filing complaints with another company for their no show activity in the very first scheduled meeting. Oh, my wife and I already recommended Mega Power to another lady.  I probably should collect some referral fee from Gary.

I had them come to my home today to do some work. They were prompt and got the job done quickly. I know it wasn't cheap but it was reasonable. I have paid much more for other electricians in the area. Highly recommend Al Smith Electric.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Natalie. She is highly skilled, extremely professional and honest. She always sticks to the schedule and estimates. Natalie is the best professional contractor I have ever encountered.

Mr.  Bowers did some work on my home.  We lost power in our entire top floor. He was professional, clean and fair priced. We were lucky enough to get him to come out on a holiday weekend when no one else would! Very happy with his work. Will use him in the future. If he needs references, I'm glad to give one.

These guys are scammers. My AC was blowing warm air.  I was quoted $1,500 to replace the AC motor by their tech armed with a boatload of sales material for new AC & Furnace units.  Now I know this tech was blowing hot air; needless to say I was skeptical.  My friend suggested  that I change a $30 capacitor on the AC and that solved the problem.  I have to give them credit, they were quick to refund my dianostic fee.

I asked Orbis Electrical Works for help with adding an outlet to my toilet wall for a new Toto washlet toilet seat. They came to my house for a free estimation on time and answered my questions very patiently. A few days later, they came to complete the project promptly. I'm happy to have them help with my project, and will definitely hire them again when needed in the future.

Five stars for Jae from Divine Electric! We weren't sure what the issue was, but Jae diagnosed it immediately as a bad transformer. His work was efficient, yet completely careful and thorough. He also took great care in setting up his equipment in order to access the difficult-to-reach transformer. He kept me updated with his progress, explained the issue, and gave me the price of the work before he completed it. Jae wore a mask and gloves the entire time he worked. I should also mention how friendly and easy to talk to he was!

The dispatchers at Divine were also great - very communicative and kept us updated about timing (and Jae was precisely on time).

We'll definitely be using Divine in the future!
