I seldom write reviews but felt compelled to do so for Hourmouz of Bay Sun Electric. He worked on the electrical portion of a recent remodel and did a good job. He was polite, helpful, and dependable, which is not always the case with many tradespeople. He worked hard and worked late to make sure we were not without power overnight during the remodel. Hourmouz was also flexible and willing to put in temporary measures to make things easier for us during the many months of remodel. Would strongly recommend him.

Excellent and prompt service with my built in oven/mivrowave. He set up my electric oven and had it replaced by my old gas oven, did an excellent job!

When we were shopping around for electricians, AOE and Jesse stood out amongst the rest. We needed a Tesla charging station and we were told we had to replace our zinsco panel. Rick from Main Stream Electric is a fantastic worker.I had three minor, but complicated electrical problems: miswired hot tub, rewired outdoor lights, and replacing a thermostat.Rick came out (called first to let me know he was coming) looked at each problem, got me a fair quote. It was reasonable and I accepted. Rick went out got the tools and supplies and completed the work.Courteous, efficient, very knowledgeable about electrical codes and safety, presented reasonable options, and a real customer first attitude.One of the top five service providers I have ever worked with.Without a doubt if I need an electrician I will call Main Stream Electric.

Jesse from Alpha Omega was incredibly responsive. I called late on a Friday night, and he got back to me within 5 minutes to schedule an appt that same weekend. He spent 2 hours at our house and fixed the issue for a reasonable price.

Additionally, Jesse pointed out some safety concerns (which we were already somewhat aware of) and was awesome about helping us figure out what our options were for addressing these issues. He wasn't at all pushy, just provided us with information and options.

Met Greg on Facebook and saw that he was a local electrician. I had been working in my salon under a light that was NOT functioning and within 24 hours  of my friend request Greg had fixed two lights in my salon (Reign Salon in Antioch).  I appreciate his reliability as a professional. It is a rare commodity these days!!!!

Ro and one of his teammates helped to address failed bathroom exhaust fan. They were very professional, prompt with reasonable pricing. Very satisfied with their service and plan to work with them in the future

This is not a review of Precision Electric making a house call, because Mark, the owner, was able to resolve my problems over the phone!  He determined that my flickering dimmer switch was the result of compact fluorescent bulbs in the chandelier.  And he showed me how to fix a kaput outlet at one end of the house, by resetting an outlet out in the garage.

Thanks, Mark, for doing this by phone and saving me the cost of an on-site visit - I'm impressed with your knowledge and style, and will definitely use Precision Electric going forward!

I was looking on Nextdoor for an electrician and there were many reviews and recommendations for Jesse with JMG Electric.  I went onto Yelp to read the reviews posted for electricians in the Gilroy area and there were many 5 star reviews for JMG Electric so I decided to contact him.  He came out right away to give me a quote and then came out and installed a ceiling light in each of my bedrooms.  He did a fantastic job!  He's very knowledgeable, professional and such a kind person.  He has a lot of pride in his work and it truly shows.  I'll be calling Jesse for all of my electrical needs.

Due to all the storms lately, we had some electrical problems whenever it rained.  We didn't know what was causing a GFI in our garage to keep tripping, so we found Ivan through Yelp.  He was the first to respond, he followed up, and he was available right away.  His prices were a bit higher than the competition, and he isn't licensed, but his Yelp reviews encouraged me to give him a chance.  

He was accommodating to our schedule, came immediately and on time.  He troubleshooted the problem diligently, and found the wire causing the problem -- GFI stopped tripping when he disconnected it.  But we couldn't figure out where the wire led because there was no crawl space above our garage.  He diligently kept looking, and after a couple hours found the culprit! I'm not certain another electrician would have found it.  Turns out it was our sump pump that was tripping the GFI, which was hidden inside a tube that was marked as a gas pipe instead.  Stellar review for Ivan's trouble-shooting determination and for finding the problem instead of stopping once we got the GFI to stop tripping.

He came back a few days later after finding the issue to do the actual repair, and brought a colleague.  They went above and beyond to fix the electrical issue as well as replace our sump pump the same day. Overall I'd call Ivan again to consult on any electric or handyman projects.

I had a bit of a problem because my large GE oven was installed improperly and only the 110 work but it was not hooked up with the 220 so I looked on yelp and discovered Archbold electric here. He answered on the third ring and was able to come out the same DAY.
You can't get better than that!

Seems I am the first one writing reviews for Mega Power.  They actually had more reviews for the LA branch.  I read those reviews and I can tell that Gary really cares about his reputation.

OK, my story.  I was thinking of installing solar in early 2022, after learning NEM 3.0 in California would be delayed indefinitely.  I started my journey with energysage.com, and got quotes from 6 local installers, including Mega Power Electric Inc.  I've also reached out to SunPower, and left my contact at Sunrun in Costco.  I finally decided to work with Mega Power for these reasons: 1. many positive reviews; 2. their price is very competitive; 3. I work directly with the owner German (Gary), who actually does the job.  No sales; no project managers.  While those sales people are nice and professional, the process is just as as efficient as talking directly with Gary.  Mega Power does everything very fast.  Gary came to our house and took some pictures; went back and shared his initial plan; we wanted two additional panels; Gary revised the plan (within 24 hours).  One or two weeks later, Gary and his people were on my roof.  Installation of 24 panels was done within one day.  City inspector initially had questions about the ground wire.  Gary and his team came back another time, and finished #4 ground wire upgrade within a couple of hours.  Passed city inspection.  Getting approvals from PG&E (final step) was a long story.  Gary and Mega Power did whatever they could to help and I appreciate that.  Overall experience with Mega Power was quite positive.  Definitely recommend Mega Power for their efficiency, work quality, and communication.  Additional data points I would like to share: while Gary and his team worked on installation, I was busy filing complaints with another company for their no show activity in the very first scheduled meeting. Oh, my wife and I already recommended Mega Power to another lady.  I probably should collect some referral fee from Gary.

I had them come to my home today to do some work. They were prompt and got the job done quickly. I know it wasn't cheap but it was reasonable. I have paid much more for other electricians in the area. Highly recommend Al Smith Electric.

I can't say enough wonderful things about Natalie. She is highly skilled, extremely professional and honest. She always sticks to the schedule and estimates. Natalie is the best professional contractor I have ever encountered.

Had Tyler repair the overhead lighting connection and install a couple of new lighting fixtures in my kitchen. Super cool guy and got everything done perfectly and in an efficient manner. Highly recommend him for your next project.

This company is all about excellent customer service. Monday we had the service technicians evaluate our old and inefficient heating/AC and duct work. Wednesday Jim L came over to give us the low down on replacing it. Thursday we'll have a Service Champion crew in our home doing the work!When Jim explained the PACE program to us it was easy to make up our minds.

Armando & Ivo upgraded the panel (100a to 200a) at one of my rental properties.  They also added 14/50 NEMA outlet for future EV charger in the garage.  Efficient. Responsive. Simply brilliant setup to avoid trimming an avocado tree, messy stucco work, and relocating downspout.  Best part - worry-free final inspection, permit approved.  My future electrical need == Call Orbis Electrical Works.

Had to get a repair done on some AC unit wiring and Divine had an easy process to have someone come out and look at it.

Jacob A ended up doing the repair. He was knowledgable, professional, and was able to give good recommendations for future safety upgrades or projects without any pressure to pay for them on the spot. Just looking at the work I can appreciate the craftsmanship and care that was put into the job. I had a great experience and will be going to Divine first thing for future projects. Thanks Jacob!
