Bay Sun Electric Electrician
Hourmouse did an excellent work in installing fan and recessed lights. He came to the site, looked at the electrical connection, recommended lightings and provided quote. When we purchased LED lights, he checked all wires and ensure that it is compatible with our connection. His work is also prefect and delivered a high quality work. He used to cover our stuff to prevent debris. Some of the paint did not match, but that's because Lowe's could not provide the exact match.

Alpha Omega Electric Electrician
When we were shopping around for electricians, AOE and Jesse stood out amongst the rest. We needed a Tesla charging station and we were told we had to replace our zinsco panel. We got the quote within 24 hours and they finished the project in 2 days. Thank you Jesse and Alpha Omega for your excellent work! We appreciate you guys.

Flores Electric Electrician
Ray and his team were fantastic. They had a slot available on a weekend and in one day came in and installed a sub-panel for the backyard studio. While they were at it they identified a few problem areas and fixed those as well. They were incredibly efficient and got the work done in a tidy and to-code way. I really appreciated Ray coming by the day after it was done even after I'd paid to do a walkthrough and see if anything else needed fixing up.

Will totally be using him again.

Absolute Electrical Electrician
Dave was simply amazing, provided us the proper assessment of our situation. After he shared details about what we were wanting to accomplish we realized the scope of the job was less than initially we both had thought and talked through the cost of the job from there. He was professional the entire time and would hire him again for any of our electrical needs.

Main Stream Electric Electrician
Rick from Main Stream Electric is a fantastic worker.I had three minor, but complicated electrical problems: miswired hot tub, rewired outdoor lights, and replacing a thermostat.Rick came out (called first to let me know he was coming) looked at each problem, got me a fair quote. It was reasonable and I accepted. Rick went out got the tools and supplies and completed the work.Courteous, efficient, very knowledgeable about electrical codes and safety, presented reasonable options, and a real customer first attitude. One of the top five service providers I have ever worked with.Without a doubt if I need an electrician I will call Main Stream Electric.

Alpha Omega Electric Electrician
We heard about Alpha Omega Electric through our neighbors, and I am really happy to have found them. Juan and Luis spent a day and a half at our home running new wires for three chandeliers and three bedroom ceiling lights. The estimate was reasonable and accurate, and Juan even came on a weekend because he was fully booked, but he wanted to accommodate our project.

I was worried about this project creating a mess because we have vaulted ceilings with no attic access. I was prepared for ugly holes in the ceiling to get the wires through, but Juan assured us he would cut any holes in a way that would be easy to repair. In the end, he only had to cut one hole, which was pretty amazing. I really appreciated how committed he was in taking the time to find a clean way to solve our wiring challenges. I have hired other electricians for previous projects, and it's hard to find someone who shows as much care in their work.

My biggest concern with hiring tradespeople is worrying about who I'm letting in to my home, especially during the pandemic. Juan and Luis were patient, well mannered, and they showed care as they moved around our house. They took the time to cover our furniture and vacuum after themselves, so we didn't have much to clean after they left.

Greg's Electric Electrician
Greg was awesome! I had a breaker switch in my pool fuse box completely melt! (Luckily I caught it before it caught on fire). Greg came out the next day, worked with my schedule (I work night shift and requested an afternoon spot.)

He fixed it quickly, correctly, and explained why it happened so I can avoid any future issues.

10/10 would recommend Greg's Electric in the Brentwood area.

Anytime handyman Electrician
I needed a TV Mount to be installed, along with bike racks, curtain rods and fixing the toilet flush tank.

Rostislav and Vlad were very professional and did a great job with all the installations. They were on time and completed the work as promised. The TV mount installation took longer than promised but they did not charge me for the extra time.

I would highly recommend Anytime Handyman for any repair works.

Precision Electric Electrician
When a contractor left me without electric and heat, I found Mark on Yelp and he was able to come the next morning. He quickly and efficiently fixed the problem that the contractor's electrician could not. His prices are a little high, but he seems to know his stuff. And ladies, he is easy on the eyes!

Cozy House Electrician
Ivan replaced my old electrical subpanel. Previous one was too old. Ivan explained me the options, caveats and mandatory/optional things to do. After discussion with him I had a clear picture of the project's scope. He provided a quote in a timely manner, completed the project within discussed timeframe and left the job site clean.  Picture of the project attached. I would definitely recommend him to a friend.

Archbold Electric, Inc. Electrician
We recently purchased a home built in 1952 that still had its original electrical system. We solicited bids from three electricians and ultimately hired Archibold to upgrade the service to 200 amps and handle a long list of upgrade and replacement work throughout the home.

This is the third old home that we've purchased and updated and after working with Brian and his crew, we have to say that they are first rate electricians.  Neat, clean, knowledgeable, thoughtful and all at a fair price.

Mega Power Electric Electrician
Seems I am the first one writing reviews for Mega Power.  They actually had more reviews for the LA branch.  I read those reviews and I can tell that Gary really cares about his reputation.

OK, my story.  I was thinking of installing solar in early 2022, after learning NEM 3.0 in California would be delayed indefinitely.  I started my journey with energysage.com, and got quotes from 6 local installers, including Mega Power Electric Inc.  I've also reached out to SunPower, and left my contact at Sunrun in Costco.  I finally decided to work with Mega Power for these reasons: 1. many positive reviews; 2. their price is very competitive; 3. I work directly with the owner German (Gary), who actually does the job.  No sales; no project managers.  While those sales people are nice and professional, the process is just as as efficient as talking directly with Gary.  Mega Power does everything very fast.  Gary came to our house and took some pictures; went back and shared his initial plan; we wanted two additional panels; Gary revised the plan (within 24 hours).  One or two weeks later, Gary and his people were on my roof.  Installation of 24 panels was done within one day.  City inspector initially had questions about the ground wire.  Gary and his team came back another time, and finished #4 ground wire upgrade within a couple of hours.  Passed city inspection.  Getting approvals from PG&E (final step) was a long story.  Gary and Mega Power did whatever they could to help and I appreciate that.  Overall experience with Mega Power was quite positive.  Definitely recommend Mega Power for their efficiency, work quality, and communication.  Additional data points I would like to share: while Gary and his team worked on installation, I was busy filing complaints with another company for their no show activity in the very first scheduled meeting. Oh, my wife and I already recommended Mega Power to another lady.  I probably should collect some referral fee from Gary.

Better Electric Electrician
I hired Tyler to install a 14-50 NEMA outlet in my garage for my EV to charge. He was responsive, simple, reasonably priced, and finished the job in very good time. I had a last moment change in my schedule and he easily accommodated by swapping my appointment with some others. Really happy with the experience. Will be able to test it out next week when my car arrives.

San Jose, CA
Service Champions Heating & Air Conditioning Electrician
The phone number on my service contract says call 1 (888) I'm happy.  I am not happy.  I wanted to be happy.  I really wanted to love these guys. I wanted to recommend them to all my friends.  Unfortunately, they flaked on me.  I did what I was supposed to do.  I got multiple bids on my furnace replacement.  They were far from the cheapest.  In fact, they were astronomically high on the initial bid.  Ultimately, we negotiated down to a reasonable price when I showed them a lower bid.  I still ended up paying more than I anticipated,  but it was because they sold me with their service.  The initial representative was prompt, knowledgable, and professional.  He asked me what I needed from a contractor and told me they could deliver.  This was important to me since I have had some subpar experiences in the past. Maybe it is partially my fault for letting them schedule around Thanksgiving, but I kind of felt like they were pushing it on me...

First off, I have a fifty year old house.  That means there was asbestos.  Not a big deal these days, just have it removed.  They normally schedule the abatement the day before the install.  However, they wanted to do the install on the Friday after Thanksgiving.  Therefore, the abatement had to be on the Wednesday before.  They assured me the old furnace would still be usable for one day.  It was not.  The furnace was turned off for the abatement and it never turned back on.  I might add that this was coincidentally the coldest day of the year thus far.  My wife called Service Champions.  They sent a tech out at 4:30 pm.  He said we were lucky to be getting the furnace replaced as it needed a new motor and the repair would have been exorbitant.   The install was still 48 hours away and my house was 55 degrees.  He said they would normally loan us space heaters, but everybody has gone home already because of the holiday.  They told me they would reimburse me if I go buy space heaters (hasn't happened yet btw, not sure how to go about that), but it was now after 5pm.  My wife and I had family plans and warming your house with electric heaters is expensive and not really very practical.  We ended up involuntarily leaving the house for Thanksgiving.  When we returned, I felt like I was camping.  I could actually see my breath at night...and I was in my living room.

Friday comes, Thank God.  The install begins.  Six hours later and I can feel warm air.  The install team wants me to sign off and cut them a check.  My wife asks where is our new thermostat.  The one they install is not the one I agreed too when I signed the deal.  The tech says he will make a note, inform the office, and someone will make an appointment to install the correct one.  Why?  Your office is literally 5 miles away.  It is only 2pm.   You said it would only take a few minutes to install the correct one.  Why couldn't you do it that day.  I write the check anyway.

One week goes by. I hear nothing.  I call them myself.  The next day I receive a call saying they would like to finish the install with the correct thermostat.  I am told by Brandon that they will arrive between 3pm and 5...on a Friday.  Nobody shows up.  I call the office.  I am told the install team leaves for the night at 5pm.  I am told they will email the install team, but nobody will be available until Monday.  My wife thinks we are now a low priority because they already have our money.  She already wants to know why I chose them since they were by far not the cheapest bid.  When you call the number, one of the first things they say on the recording is we arrive when we say.  I have two children and not much free time.  I expect the cable company to flake, but not a company that sells me on their customer service.  Especially after I write them a very large check.

Maybe we are only talking about a thermostat, but frankly the whole experience was kind of stressful.  The main point for me was that I voluntarily paid a premium for good service and I don't feel like I got it.

Also, I have been on yelp for years and never taken the time write a review.  This was my first review because I was that annoyed.

Orbis Electrical Works Electrician
Armando & Ivo upgraded the panel (100a to 200a) at one of my rental properties.  They also added 14/50 NEMA outlet for future EV charger in the garage.  Efficient. Responsive. Simply brilliant setup to avoid trimming an avocado tree, messy stucco work, and relocating downspout.  Best part - worry-free final inspection, permit approved.  My future electrical need == Call Orbis Electrical Works.

Divine Electric and Plumbing Electrician
All I can say is that any expectations I had in regards to the work being done at my house and the individual performing in it were far exceeded in the case of Paul Kelly who installed a Tesla car charger for me earlier this week. His attention to detail was extraordinary as was the care and time he gave me. On top of that, the area was left spotless and the charger works just as promised, thanks to Paul's supreme attention to detail.

Thank you Divine Electric, and thank you Paul!
