He helped us upgrade both our kitchen and one bathroom from old fluorescent tube fixtures to the latest 6 Halo LEDs.  He even filled in the open area occupied by the old kitchen fixture with new, flush drywall, for a modern, professional look.  His assistant was also very efficient and professional.

Since we were preparing to sell our home, he noticed that we were not up to code in our kitchen, and he discovered our 1979 electrical panel was all used up.  Because we were using a gas clothes dryer, the two circuits reserved for that were not being used, so he found a solution and wired a separate, second GFCI protected circuit to our kitchen so we were safe and up to code.

We were so impressed with the service that  Hourmouz provided us, that we asked him back to upgrade all the rest of our electrical switches and outlets to the best modern Levitron models that he recommends, and they look beautiful all throughout our home.
As before, he made a trip to the store and returned with the right products at an amazing price.

Excellent service from D&C Electric! They came to install ceiling fans for us today. They were prompt, efficient, extremely professional, and did an amazing job with each installation. I was working from home today and had to deal with a lot of phone calls and meetings. Daniel and his father were so patient with me. They had questions to ask to ensure that everything was done correctly and I appreciated the fact that they patiently waited for me to finish my calls whenever they had a query. They left everything so clean too. I am very impressed and I will not hesitate to hire them again for my next project.

Jesse came out to troubleshoot and fix a melted circuit that caused the breaker to trip. He arrived early, was prompt, professional, and fixed the issue! Check out the wires in the attached photos. He explained the issue in a way that made sense to me (I have zero knowledge of electric other than knowing I don't want to accidentally electrocute myself lol). Flores Electric did a great job trouble shooting my ceiling fan.  It is a new fan installed last year but it was making a grinding noise.  The electrician immediately knew what the problem was and determined that the wires inside the fan were loose.  He repaired the problem and it now works perfectly.  I do like that his price was reasonable.  I will use them in the future.

We've hired David quite a few times to do electrical work at our house and hands down he is the best of the best! He is friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and does an all around great job. David is also very honest when it comes to his work. If you don't need to spend the extra money he will let you know.

Rick from Main Stream Electric is a fantastic worker.I had three minor, but complicated electrical problems: miswired hot tub, rewired outdoor lights, and replacing a thermostat.Rick came out (called first to let me know he was coming) looked at each problem, got me a fair quote. It was reasonable and I accepted. Rick went out got the tools and supplies and completed the work.Courteous, efficient, very knowledgeable about electrical codes and safety, presented reasonable options, and a real customer first attitude.One of the top five service providers I have ever worked with.Without a doubt if I need an electrician I will call Main Stream Electric.

This May we needed to install some outdoor motion detector lights.  After no success getting estimates from other electrical contractors we found Alpha Omega Electric with five-star ratings on Yelp. Believe us, they earned those ratings!  From the first contact with Josh to the finish of the job they were prompt, professional and friendly.  They quickly assessed our project and presented a fair price on the spot...without trying to talk us into other unnecessary, expensive work.  Their communication system was flawless and when I asked for proof of insurance it was emailed before I could hang up the phone.  Thank you Josh, Juan and Paul!  It was fun working with you and the lights work great!  Next time we will know who to contact right away.

Greg came over and fixed my garage door on a Sunday. Who does that anymore? Hard enough to find someone during the week, let alone on a weekend.

I had a doorbell wiring issue and Ro gave me a fair quote and came by on time with Sergei and fixed plus also replaced the transformer. They were courteous and polite and eager to help, so gave them additional work to install some lights in the backyard. I would call Ro again!!

We came to Precision to have a new outlet and light fixture installed where there weren't any before along with a couple of light fixture replacements. Jason did a great job on every project and checked in with me at numerous times. He really made sure that each project was done perfectly. We're super happy with the work and will definitely come back for future electrical needs. Thanks!

Jesse is top-tier. Regardless of your electrical issue, rest assured that he will get it done quickly, neatly, and safely. The subcontractors he brings in for other work (drywall, etc.) are all very talented and professional, so rest assured you're in good hands. I have had him work on my home multiple times, and each time has been a great experience.

Excellent service from Brian. Saturday morning, half the power in our home was out and we were desperate for help. Brian was the first to respond that he was available and came out within the hour. No other electricians were able to come out. He was professional, identified the problem, explained everything, resolved the issue quickly and the price was reasonable. Seems I am the first one writing reviews for Mega Power.  They actually had more reviews for the LA branch.  I read those reviews and I can tell that Gary really cares about his reputation.

OK, my story.  I was thinking of installing solar in early 2022, after learning NEM 3.0 in California would be delayed indefinitely.  I started my journey with energysage.com, and got quotes from 6 local installers, including Mega Power Electric Inc.  I've also reached out to SunPower, and left my contact at Sunrun in Costco.  I finally decided to work with Mega Power for these reasons: 1. many positive reviews; 2. their price is very competitive; 3. I work directly with the owner German (Gary), who actually does the job.  No sales; no project managers.  While those sales people are nice and professional, the process is just as as efficient as talking directly with Gary.  Mega Power does everything very fast.  Gary came to our house and took some pictures; went back and shared his initial plan; we wanted two additional panels; Gary revised the plan (within 24 hours).  One or two weeks later, Gary and his people were on my roof.  Installation of 24 panels was done within one day.  City inspector initially had questions about the ground wire.  Gary and his team came back another time, and finished #4 ground wire upgrade within a couple of hours.  Passed city inspection.  Getting approvals from PG&E (final step) was a long story.  Gary and Mega Power did whatever they could to help and I appreciate that.  Overall experience with Mega Power was quite positive.  Definitely recommend Mega Power for their efficiency, work quality, and communication.  Additional data points I would like to share: while Gary and his team worked on installation, I was busy filing complaints with another company for their no show activity in the very first scheduled meeting. Oh, my wife and I already recommended Mega Power to another lady.  I probably should collect some referral fee from Gary.

I needed to install a wink relay to control two sets of outdoor lights. There was a small complication as it meant modifying 3 different switches, two of which were we 3 ways that had  to be converted to simple on off switches. I called Williams electric which is very close to my house leaving a detailed explanation; no return call. Then I tried another highly rated company who said they could do it but kept putting off coming by. I finally found Valencia and Natalie listened to my explanation and said she was confident it would be no problem. She was courteous, efficient, inexpensive and fearless. I would call her back in a minute!

I contracted better electric to replace 5 ceiling fans in my house and Tyler was prompt in his responses and courteous, with an interest to get my needs met when I needed them on short notice. Chris came to perform the work and he was awesome! He worked so much harder than I anticipated. In my disappointment all of my original ceiling fans were placed incorrectly without the proper support box needed to withstand the weight of the fan (no wonder they always shook when they were on). Chris worked non-stop and never complained. He replaced all of our ceiling fans the proper way. He left our home sweaty, dirty, and exhausted but courteous through and through and never complained about all of the unanticipated labor and time it took. He was pleasant, professional, fast, neat, and all-around a pleasure to have in our home. I will definitely be contracting Tyler and his crew for my future electrical needs undoubtedly.

This review is a bit overdue as my experience happened in October 2015. I would give zero stars if I could.

Here is my experience:

We are selling our home. Purchaser had home inspection done and noted evaporator coil had condensation on it (which tech said was normal). Also during a walk through noted that the drain pipe was dripping water. Purchaser wanted us to address these issues. So first contractor (different company) comes in and first says no issues. Then tries to charge $200 for taping up some air leaks. See my other review on Moore Heating and Air Conditioning.

Still the issue of drain pipe water. Purchaser has her own HVAC tech come out to assess the system. She uses service champions. Tech comes out and says system needs AC coolant refill (inspection $69, coolant refill $282). She pays the inspection fee but wants us to use service champions to refill the coolant. So fine. No problem. I call them and schedule them to come back and fill the coolant.

Different tech shows up. He goes up (our AC unit is in the loft) comes down says coolant fine. Says first tech misdiagnosed the problem. He says he's going to check a few more things. Goes up with his tools (but doesn't tell me what he's doing nor does he clear the work with me prior to doing it!) then comes down and Tells me the issue was the dampers were not opening and he did a major wire repair for me which would have cost around $900 but he gave it to me for $282 since the first tech misdiagnosed the problem. I said well, shouldn't the purchaser get her $70 back for the wrong inspection? He argued with me that he just did a major wire repair for a fraction of the cost. I said I don't know what you did because you didn't clear it with me first. He then threatened to go up and undo all his work. Right!? Yes. So I paid him to be done with the contractors but advised him I would be leaving a bad review and I wasn't impressed with the whole experience. Who's to say this guy got it right if the other one at the same company misdiagnosed it! Also our AC ran fine all summer. No issues. Now I'm wondering if they are just looking for things and messing around. Oh it gets better...

Turned on my furnace the other day. We have two thermostats in our home. I'm wondering why the one upstairs isn't kicking on... Until I realize. It did kick on but its controlling the downstairs vent. Yep. Upstairs now controls the downstairs vents and downstairs controls the upstairs vents. So the techs somehow switched up the thermostats. Genius! More like moronic.

Ivo and his guy Miro were great to work with and I'd work with them again in the future. I put out an inquiry on Yelp to 5 electricians and Orbis Electrical Works was the first to respond (within minutes). From there, Ivo and I communicated regularly to work out the details. He got me scheduled to begin work within a week and from there it took 2 days to install lights for 3 rooms. Miro came and did the work and he was great. He took great care to properly cover the carpet and the furniture, which I greatly appreciated. Ivo and Miro were very experienced and professional, demonstrated by their advice for installation and their knowledge of fire codes. Safety was a top priority for them which made me feel at ease.

Divine's Chris Ramirez recently replaced a defective undercabinet kitchen light with a new LED unit.  The advance Divine coordination was clear, and Chris was very thorough and professional, explaining options to fix the immediate issue, as well as advising of long-term additional lighting and electrical panel needs and options.
