I seldom write reviews but felt compelled to do so for Hourmouz of Bay Sun Electric. He worked on the electrical portion of a recent remodel and did a good job. He was polite, helpful, and dependable, which is not always the case with many tradespeople. He worked hard and worked late to make sure we were not without power overnight during the remodel. Hourmouz was also flexible and willing to put in temporary measures to make things easier for us during the many months of remodel. Would strongly recommend him.

I had some electrical issues that I had no idea was wrong. Called, made an appointment, and next thing you know everything was working great.

When we were shopping around for electricians, AOE and Jesse stood out amongst the rest. We needed a Tesla charging station and we were told we had to replace our zinsco panel. I met with Victor and discussed with him my home remodeling project and the code requirements.

He did the wiring for a kitchen remodel and installed ceiling lights for the garage.

He pulled wires from the main service panel to the kitchen and bedrooms.  The wires were so neatly laid out side by side.
He installed ceiling lights for the garage and 3 way switches so the lights were operable from 2 sides of the garage.
He installed an outside flood light and outdoor receptacles for powering the sprinkler controls.

Excellent communication, quality of work, competitive price.  Highly recommended !

Replacing hanging light with ceiling fan where we also needed the correct junction box installed to support the fan.

Installing a ceiling fan in a room where there was existing junction box in the ceiling.  He had to run electrical through the attic and even let us know that there was no rodent activity up there in case we were wondering.

These guys are great!  My electrical box overloaded and blew out the main circuit breaker to the house on a Sunday night.  These guys came out at 10pm on Sunday night and got me up and running!  They replaced my electrical box, installed a second meter for my duplex, and grounded all of the electrical outlets in my house.  They were friendly, professional, fast, and mostly importantly, they did a great job.  They also cleaned up and made sure to put any moved furniture back in its original location.  I would definitely use them again!

I needed a TV Mount to be installed, along with bike racks, curtain rods and fixing the toilet flush tank.

Rostislav and Vlad were very professional and did a great job with all the installations. They were on time and completed the work as promised. The TV mount installation took longer than promised but they did not charge me for the extra time.

With numerous 5-Star reviews, I'm surprised at the 'non'-service received in our experience.  Called JMG and spoke with a nice gentleman who scheduled a 9am Thursday appointment for us.  

Per request, I then texted JMG our address and left a voicemail with our address for the Thursday appointment.  

Thursday morning comes and goes.  No show, no calls, no cancellations.  No one at JMG picked up the phone at 9:20am.

If the job is too small, or too inconvenient, let us know.  Please do not schedule an appointment and not show up (and not call to cancel).  We, like most people, made arrangements to make sure we'd be home for the appointment.  A quick text to cancel would have been appreciated.

Ivan was great!!  He installed a new 220v outlet for us in our garage to prepare for a purchase of an electric vehicle.  The price was fair and he helped educate us on the options regarding amps for different types of level 2 chargers.  He was prompt and very helpful.  Highly recommend.

He was really easy to work with and he answered communications quickly. He was fast at getting this project completed and his pricing very fair. Seems I am the first one writing reviews for Mega Power.  They actually had more reviews for the LA branch.  I read those reviews and I can tell that Gary really cares about his reputation.

OK, my story.  I was thinking of installing solar in early 2022, after learning NEM 3.0 in California would be delayed indefinitely.  I started my journey with energysage.com, and got quotes from 6 local installers, including Mega Power Electric Inc.  I've also reached out to SunPower, and left my contact at Sunrun in Costco.  I finally decided to work with Mega Power for these reasons: 1. many positive reviews; 2. their price is very competitive; 3. I work directly with the owner German (Gary), who actually does the job.  No sales; no project managers.  While those sales people are nice and professional, the process is just as as efficient as talking directly with Gary.  Mega Power does everything very fast.  Gary came to our house and took some pictures; went back and shared his initial plan; we wanted two additional panels; Gary revised the plan (within 24 hours).  One or two weeks later, Gary and his people were on my roof.  Installation of 24 panels was done within one day.  City inspector initially had questions about the ground wire.  Gary and his team came back another time, and finished #4 ground wire upgrade within a couple of hours.  Passed city inspection.  Getting approvals from PG&E (final step) was a long story.  Gary and Mega Power did whatever they could to help and I appreciate that.  Overall experience with Mega Power was quite positive.  Definitely recommend Mega Power for their efficiency, work quality, and communication.  Additional data points I would like to share: while Gary and his team worked on installation, I was busy filing complaints with another company for their no show activity in the very first scheduled meeting. Oh, my wife and I already recommended Mega Power to another lady.  I probably should collect some referral fee from Gary.

Electrical work can be a bit scary. I usually try to do simple projects myself, but when it's not a switch or plug, I start getting nervous. Such was the case with a Sense energy monitor I began to install in my main panel last week. After doing some of the preliminary work, I realized that I was a bit out of my depth.

Based on Yelp reviews, I began to look for electricians in the area. Natalie's page stood out as having good reviews on the value of her work and communication. Both of which, especially the latter, is very important to me.

We scheduled for this morning. Natalie was on time and settled in, wrapping things up pretty quickly. She was friendly, familiar with the installation, and texted me to let me know the project was complete. We tested the sensor, which worked as expected.

I don't love spending money on electrical repairs, but I'm kind of excited to hire Natalie for a future project. Would definitely recommend.

Bene Electric gave me a quote promptly after I reached out.  He guided us through the entire process if installing recessed lighting inside the house.  The work was started just a few days from when he gave us an estimate, showed up on time, did the job in the time line provided during the estimate and did a great job.  We love the lighting - it transformed the look of the house.  His suggestions to make some minor changes went a long way to improve the house.  Great job!

We had a whole house AC unit that was switching off during hot days. After multiple visits from Service Champion technicians, we were being quoted for repairs upwards of $5,000 and they highly suggested we replace the unit for over $15,000.  Common sense does not warrant such an expensive repair/replacement for a measly issue.  

Ozzy and the manager lady were bombarding us with HVAC jargon and whatnot.  I told them, put together a line itemed quote so that I can see what the problems are and what I'm paying for.  Ozzy agreed to send me the quote after multiple requests.  I never received the quote.  At one point earlier on, they even said they would need to send a sales associate over in order to provide quotes.  What a joke.  

Our trusted electrician then recommended a company called iComfort Heating and Air.  Their technician came over and figure out the issue in under 30 minutes.  The side panel of the unit was old and the specifications were illegible.  He used a black marker to highlight the specs and was able to read the details and determine that the fuses and capacitors were not correct for this unit.  All was replaced for under $1,100.  I'd even go as far as to say Service Champions may have put on these bad parts, but I digress.

Glad to know there are legitimate HVAC companies out there that aren't trying to gouge you.  

Would I ever contact service champions again?  You bet not.

Ivo responded to my quote request and immediately came out the following day. His work is great and at a fraction of the price of all the other electricians. I will be definitely be using Ivo for all of my home electrical needs from now on.

Yelp is great because it helps you find amazing companies like this one. Everything about the experience of getting new lighting with Divine was top-notch, and I would 100% recommend them to anyone.

I needed three lights replaced at my house, two fluorescents in the garage and one halogen in the kitchen. After inquiring over email, they responded promptly the next day and set up a time for a visit a short time later. Everything about scheduling and communication was incredibly professional, transparent, easy, and digital. Rob came over to my place and helped to guide me through my options and explained what would needed to be done for the project. He showed me pictures of the different options and pulled up pricing on his iPad - again, the whole experience felt very polished and tech-enabled. I appreciated how clearly he explained my options for me, including suggesting ways that I could save money in the process. There was an $89 dispatch fee, but it could be credited towards the work if I went with them, which I did. Almost right after Rob left, I was called and set up a time for the work to be done. I don't know much about electrical work, but from Googling online the prices they quoted me seemed pretty fair. Rob gave me his card, and when I had further questions for him over email a few days later, he responded incredibly quickly with relevant, helpful advice.

Today, Alejandro and Diego showed up to install the lights, and their installation was everything I'd hoped for. The lights and outlet they installed look fantastic, they were on time, they were respectful of me and my house, they were easy to work with, they finished the work very quickly, and they explained everything they were doing super well. When I had questions for them, they had great, detailed recommendations and explanations - they clearly know their stuff. They even replaced an unused light fixture socket near the area they were working with a cover for free!

I plan to use Divine for all of my future lighting needs, and probably my plumbing needs too given the experience. Thank you Divine! You've found yourself a new loyal customer.
