My wife and I wanted to install overhead lighting in the living area of our new house before moving in. We called Bay Sun Electric and Hourmouz came over that evening to go over our options and give us a price quote. His quote was lower than another electrician we had contacted by phone and Hourmouz's quote included re-finishing the ceiling (which the other guy wouldn't even do).

Hourmouz was extremely professional. He arrived right on time and installed all 5 light fixtures installed, patched and painted the holes in the ceiling he used to run the wires and cleaned everything up in less than a day. The LED bulbs he recommended are fantastic and the light fixture installation looks great!

I highly recommend Hourmouz and will be going back to him anytime I need an electrician in the future.

After hours of searching, the Yelp Gods pointed me in the direction of Alpha Omega Electric...which is why I'm awake at 2 AM on a Sunday morning writing this review to thank them because I have a new-found appreciation for the electricians out there, like Jesse, Albert and Taylor, that are constantly putting themselves at risk to do their jobs safely for people like me. Background:
I just bought a Tesla last week so I needed and EV charger installed asap. I called Jesse and he and his team (Albert and Taylor) were fantastic. Quick turnaround and great work. Jesse walked me through several different options and gave me his honest opinion based on my needs, while saving me on unnecessary costs. In addition to the EV charger installation, they also replaced an old sub-panel.

We were in desparate need of an electrician, as out entire home still had the orginal wiring from the original build. As technology has improved, and things are taking more juice, we needed someone to update our breaker.

Ray's team was very professional from the beginning to the end. They showed up assessed the situation and provided a few options to help fix out problems. We were able to figure out the best game plan for the fix, and they were in touch the next day with the contract and scheulde for the entire slate of work.

Great experience working with Dave of Absolute Electric. Dave is prompt, courteous, knowledgeable and affordable. I had a small issue with my kitchen florescent light and while he was here, I asked him about doing some additional work. After his investigation of my electrical system, we determined that I needed some upgrades to bring my aging system up to code, but never with any pressure to do the work. Dave installed all new plugs and switches for my entire townhouse as well as doing some additional safety upgrades. Besides being an extremely competent electrician, Dave is a very nice guy and I highly recommend using Absolute Electric for any of your electrical needs. 'Will definitely call again if needed.

Schedule for my garage got moved up. Needed electrical for sub panel roughed in for inspection so we could pour concrete. I called Don, told him I had accepted his quote but had a schedule change. Don came out, checked job site and said he could start the next day.  They got the trenching done and conduit ran from main panel, under house, out to trench and stub up thru garage floor. Got my inspection and approval in time to meet schedule. Don and his crew were courteous and professional. Jacob could not have worked harder to help meet schedule.

I am your typical white collar guy that doesn't have the time for a lot of home improvement projects but neither do I enjoy dealing with professional service firms, that often times aren't very professional....in fact I look at the whole process of do-it-for-me home improvement as worse than buying a new car from a salesman in the 90s. So as a result, I just befriend inertia and vintage home accoutrements and live a more blissful life...

...Delighted to say I fought through my fears and found these guys, especially our project's meticulous lead man, Juan, and his trustworthy associate, Luis.

We bought a charming home last year but with a bit of a dowdy lighting scheme.  I just could not bear  the idea of having to deal with the process.  But under the motto happy wife, happy life, I finally relented and we invested some real dollars into a dozen high end light fixtures, including several chandeliers, pendants and sconces.

Several of the pieces required extreme care given their fragility and several were in awkward areas like  above stairs and on slanted ceilings. Several times Juan consulted with us to notify us of small or large issues to seek our input and final decision. He was also pretty funny, polite and extremely considerate and professional.  Most importantly the finished product was fantastic! Will try to post some pics so you can for yourselves.  Huge recommendation to him, Luis and this company.  Craig also helped out for a bit before he was called out to a job and he seemed very good as well.

As I started, I don't do projects very often (said in Dos Equis commercial voice but totally serious about this) but when I do, I'll call Juan and co.

I tried to do something myself.  Made a mistake and got really nervous.  It was about 7pm.  I called Greg and explained what happened.  He said I was safe but could tell I was a worried still.  He had one of his employees come by in record time and the issue was quickly fixed.  I can't express how gracious I am that they came out that quick, at that time, to fix what was really going to be ok and could have waited.   I will only work with Greg and his company from now on.  We're so fortunate they are close to our home.

We hired anytime handyman for installing our 8'x12' storage room and our 14'x12' gazebo in our backyard. They did a really good job on installing these 2 as these 2 items are not only very heavy but also come with complicated installation guide. They finished the installation by 2 days and we checked the two things, all finished with great quality and they also installed some hangers and bars inside the storage room, with very good details. We are very impressed by their work, and will definitely hire again in the future. Highly recommend them! (Check the photos to see how good the installation are:))

I needed a quick fix on a small electrical issue on a home I am selling. I read the excellent reviews on Yelp and decided to call Precision Electric. Expecting to have to wait several days I was extremely happy when Mark answered the phone right away and personally showed up at my place within 90 minutes. Heirs courteous, professional, knowledgeable and we even had a conversation about how much we respect and care about real craftsmanship in homes.  I was so impressed I asked Mark about some projects I need to have done in my new home. He was able to give me a rough estimate of expense and time so I could discuss options with my wife that night. Needless to say I couldn't be happier with my experience, I'm adding them to my contact list in my phone and I look forward to using Precision Electric again!

Ivan and team have done a phenomenal job with various projects at my home. Extremely professional, thorough and can always be counted. Very transparent throughout the job and was persistent to find a short and fix it very robustly. A gem amongst all the local electricians. I highly recommend Ivan.

A few months ago we lost power at our house. Fortunately my husband got Brian's number from another electrician and gave him a call. Brian was able to come up to the house and take a look at our situation. Not only did he get half of the house back up, but he came back the next day and finished the job. We had another company come up before Brian, their quote was 10x more than Archbold Electric and they claimed it would take up to 6 weeks. Thanks to Brian we did not go broke and wait weeks to solve the problem with our electricity. I will definitely be calling Archbold Electric in the future.

Seems I am the first one writing reviews for Mega Power.  They actually had more reviews for the LA branch.  I read those reviews and I can tell that Gary really cares about his reputation.

OK, my story.  I was thinking of installing solar in early 2022, after learning NEM 3.0 in California would be delayed indefinitely.  I started my journey with energysage.com, and got quotes from 6 local installers, including Mega Power Electric Inc.  I've also reached out to SunPower, and left my contact at Sunrun in Costco.  I finally decided to work with Mega Power for these reasons: 1. many positive reviews; 2. their price is very competitive; 3. I work directly with the owner German (Gary), who actually does the job.  No sales; no project managers.  While those sales people are nice and professional, the process is just as as efficient as talking directly with Gary.  Mega Power does everything very fast.  Gary came to our house and took some pictures; went back and shared his initial plan; we wanted two additional panels; Gary revised the plan (within 24 hours).  One or two weeks later, Gary and his people were on my roof.  Installation of 24 panels was done within one day.  City inspector initially had questions about the ground wire.  Gary and his team came back another time, and finished #4 ground wire upgrade within a couple of hours.  Passed city inspection.  Getting approvals from PG&E (final step) was a long story.  Gary and Mega Power did whatever they could to help and I appreciate that.  Overall experience with Mega Power was quite positive.  Definitely recommend Mega Power for their efficiency, work quality, and communication.  Additional data points I would like to share: while Gary and his team worked on installation, I was busy filing complaints with another company for their no show activity in the very first scheduled meeting. Oh, my wife and I already recommended Mega Power to another lady.  I probably should collect some referral fee from Gary.

Natalie is fantastic. I originally hired her to mount my flat-screen TV - which she did seamlessly - along with hanging a large, super heavy mirror. She even hid the cords for the TV in the wall and was able to professionally route my cable to the other side of the room using a creative idea through the ceiling -- much more than I would have expected from a TV mounting specialist! Then I found out she's a pro electrician by trade, and quickly hired her on to do a lighting overhaul in my condo. She worked with me to make sure I understand how everything will look once installed, and sent me an estimate via email within a day. Her schedule is super flexible and accommodating, which is huge when you work normal office hours. She's professional, prompt and her work ethic is unmatched. Better Electric was recommended to me by a friend when I was looking for an electrician. I wanted to put in some can lights in the kitchen and ceiling fans in the bedrooms. Tyler gave me a reasonable quote and I had him do the job. He was punctual and professional. He finished on time, on budget and left my house clean.
