I may have misunderstood your statement. Your statement threw me off by thinking that your president is a licensed engineer in California and not just someone who studied engineering. Unless you are licensed engineer, by the state of Ca, you can not design or sign off on electrical work. Your president's electrical experience back at home, does not meet any building codes or standards in California.

We had a WONDERFUL experience with Flores Electric.
We needed an electric contractor who could help us with a full home remodel, new electrical panel, custom light fixture needs and more.  Flores delivered beyond our expectations!  Every electrician from Flores we had in our home was extremely professional and knowledgeable, as well as COVID-conscious and mindful of staying safe and working clean. Rey provided a very detailed quote when he came to bid on the project, and answered all of our questions on the spot.  He was extremely thoughtful in regards to material selections and educating us on new technologies and options available.
I was also very impressed with the scheduling and billing system Flores uses. In working with a dozen subcontractors during our remodel, no one made scheduling and payment as easy as Flores Electric - one less thing to think or worry about.
We will be using them again to do our house expansion!

I had planned to have electrical work done and turns out I decided to do it in phases.  Even though the job was smaller, Joey came out right away and gave me a quote which I found reasonable.  He scheduled the job and two days later came out and completed the work that day.  We found them to be very professional and courteous.  I definitely recommend Main Stream Electric and plan to use them for my future projects.

Ro is efficient in communicating; since he couldn't made it - Andrew & his team came for service. After I showed my problems at the house for service; item2 after his inspection - he suggested for professional plumbing service. Item1 supposed to be easy & fast - it turned out that my pre brought item didn't include replacement part that needed.
Andrew team went out night time to look for the part an hour, since Sat night most stores already closed. They finished up what they could have done with part and finished up the task. Monday - they went extra mile to look for the replacement and came back to finish up the complete task - which was more than I could have asked for it

Seems I am the first one writing reviews for Mega Power.  They actually had more reviews for the LA branch.  I read those reviews and I can tell that Gary really cares about his reputation.

OK, my story.  I was thinking of installing solar in early 2022, after learning NEM 3.0 in California would be delayed indefinitely.  I started my journey with energysage.com, and got quotes from 6 local installers, including Mega Power Electric Inc.  I've also reached out to SunPower, and left my contact at Sunrun in Costco.  I finally decided to work with Mega Power for these reasons: 1. many positive reviews; 2. their price is very competitive; 3. I work directly with the owner German (Gary), who actually does the job.  No sales; no project managers.  While those sales people are nice and professional, the process is just as as efficient as talking directly with Gary.  Mega Power does everything very fast.  Gary came to our house and took some pictures; went back and shared his initial plan; we wanted two additional panels; Gary revised the plan (within 24 hours).  One or two weeks later, Gary and his people were on my roof.  Installation of 24 panels was done within one day.  City inspector initially had questions about the ground wire.  Gary and his team came back another time, and finished #4 ground wire upgrade within a couple of hours.  Passed city inspection.  Getting approvals from PG&E (final step) was a long story.  Gary and Mega Power did whatever they could to help and I appreciate that.  Overall experience with Mega Power was quite positive.  Definitely recommend Mega Power for their efficiency, work quality, and communication.  Additional data points I would like to share: while Gary and his team worked on installation, I was busy filing complaints with another company for their no show activity in the very first scheduled meeting. Oh, my wife and I already recommended Mega Power to another lady.  I probably should collect some referral fee from Gary.

I had them come to my home today to do some work. They were prompt and got the job done quickly. I know it wasn't cheap but it was reasonable. I have paid much more for other electricians in the area. Highly recommend Al Smith Electric.

We were so pleased with Natalie's work on some other projects a couple of years ago we had her come back for a bigger job this time. Natalie did a great job of replacing lights with LEDs throughout the house, installing two ceiling fans and installing new ceiling lights in two rooms. She was professional, prompt and reasonably priced. She came to provide an estimate and gave us some very good ideas. She took care of getting all the materials and she did the work on time and on budget. We have some very high ceilings but these didn't stop her from doing a very nice job. I recommend her very highly.

Project including installing 10 recessed light and 2 ceiling lights in kitchen, living room and bedrooms. Tyler came with his crew (Chris) on time, super respectful and attentive to detail. After a quick walk through together, which was very engaged, Tyler was not shine to offer his expertise and suggestion (ie. What to put or demo, one switch vs two switch's, what will happen to my wall LoL).

After the walk through, 2 ceiling lights was deemed to be out of scope because I changed my mind, he offered pricing on the spot, which show his willingness to meet all customer needs, the pricing were very competitive and very reasonable. He went out to Home Depot bought the equipment to fulfill the out of scope request.

Come on that had to be more than 5 stars. He is honest, him team and him completes the project in 8 hours due to how they are well prepared and talented.

Given he owns the company, i am impressed how well he ran it. I feel fornaute to work with Better electric. I'm a very picky customer too

when project conclude, we are all happy to see so many new lights, my condo built in 70s use to have no lights in bedroom. Another star he is able to conquer the challenges to install lights for the first hand.

Thinking I shouldn't even be writing this review now, to keep Tyler to my future projects. But quality work and experience overcome my selfishness as there should be well deserved praise!

My Icomfort thermostat had a system message saying Unable to connect to Smart Hub Device.  Ray was very professional, knowledgeable and very detailed.  He did a diagnoses to made sure there were no damaged/disconnected wires that will can be an issue.  He was able to resolve the issue in less than 30 minutes.  I can always depend on quick and reliable service.  Thanks for the the great service Ray!

I heard a buzzing/crackling noise in my fuse box and orbis sent out an electrician within an hour. He was able to diagnose a wire that shorted, changed the affected breakers, cut out a junction box and change the burnt wires within an hour. Very knowledgable and great service. I'll be saving this number for sure.

They came right out to give us a quote to install our kitchen pendant lights. The price was good, they fit us on the calendar quickly and they were professional. Paul and Diego were knowledgeable and explained our options, helping us make decisions about placement, lightbulbs, etc. They cleaned up as they worked and especially after the job was completed. Professional, detail-oriented and personable. I highly recommend!
