After hours of searching, the Yelp Gods pointed me in the direction of Alpha Omega Electric...which is why I'm awake at 2 AM on a Sunday morning writing this review to thank them because I have a new-found appreciation for the electricians out there, like Jesse, Albert and Taylor, that are constantly putting themselves at risk to do their jobs safely for people like me. Thank you and I appreciate you! Not to mention Alpha Omegas expertise, professionalism, and attention to detail were evident from start to finish....that also helps too :)

Background:
I just bought a Tesla last week so I needed and EV charger installed asap. I called Jesse and he and his team (Albert and Taylor) were fantastic. Quick turnaround and great work. Jesse walked me through several different options and gave me his honest opinion based on my needs, while saving me on unnecessary costs. In addition to the EV charger installation, they also replaced an old sub-panel.

Why I would hire Alpha Omega again:

They were very professional and arrived promptly at the scheduled time. They adhered to all safety protocols and ensured a seamless transition to the new subpanel.

Throughout the project, they consistently exhibited excellent communication and customer service. I had lots of questions and Jesse addressed ALL my questions and concerns. He provided thorough explanations and ensured I understood every step of the process. He also made recommendations to keep in mind for the future which I greatly appreciate.

They also took great care in protecting my property, leaving the work area spotless once the installation and replacement were completed. They even took the extra step to do some additional patch-up work without charge.

Overall, my experience with Alpha Omega Electric, led by Jesse, and supported by Albert and Taylor, really exceeded my expectations. I absolutely recommend them to anyone in need of reliable, efficient, and friendly electrical service.

Neat, clean and professional. But, more than that respectful. They answered all my questions in a professional manner. I had a handful of small jobs that had been put off for some time. Every one was taken care of quickly and neatly. I highly recommend.

Dave is awesome! I live in New Hampshire and have a rental house in Tracy.  HUGE PAIN!  Dave was super accommodating and quick to respond AND follow through!  He arranged an appointment with my tenant and sent pictures and information ...and dealt with PG&E since I couldn't be there.  He didn't try to oversell me on work either.  Dave is a kind person and very trustworthy.  He also did great work for my father who was very appreciative ...and also who couldn't figure out how to leave a review.  Dave even helped my older parents out before he left and didn't expect anything extra.  He's a good guy.  Call him.  Trust me.  I'm a mom.  I don't lie.

I used mainstream for a house rewire of mine and I was completely impressed with everything. From start to finish they were very courteous very professional and very understanding of their trade. From supervisor to the technicians they did a great job . The office was great how they handled the job they finished my home in a reasonable time frame their pricing was very reasonable as well. A job big or small I would definitely  recommend anyone to use mainstream electric.

Over the last year Josh's team has upgraded our panel (200 amp) and upgraded our kitchen (remodel) to spec.  The panel upgrade took time because we had to work with both PG&E and the City of Santa Cruz.  The kitchen project was long due to delays with the cabinets and counters.  Josh and his crew were always patient, polite and professional.  Never once did anyone complain and they took the time to explain things.  They  listened to instructions and followed them to the letter.  Everyone was very pleasant to work with.

Not sure what just occurred.....but I wrote to him via Yelp to inquire about a job. Due to my job and the hours I work I asked my wife to call him...  my wife had been trying to reach him via phone multiple times.. left voicemails... no response to her calls. I called today and got in contact with him... explained I had an electric water heater, a safe that required an outlet, etc. and that I needed another outlet in my garage. He asked me very specific questions which I wouldn't know (I'm not an electrician) such as did I need a dedicated plug? Can I run off the other lines? I don't know....Never have done electric work....which was why I was calling.... He then stated that he would need to come out and take a look at the job to see what needed to be done. I said Ok and he said Ok and then he hung up... without setting a time, arranging anything... I mean... his 5 star reviews made it seem like he was reliable and a good choice... Not so sure what I did wrong... or if I caught him at a bad time... Guess I'll inquire elsewhere. 2 stars because I'm not sure if there was some lack of communication on my end... but he just didn't seem to want to be bothered... by my wife or myself.

Brian did a great job troubleshooting and fixing a problem and pointing out some potential future issues with our ancient panel.  He clearly enjoys his trade.  Since I am a bit of a do it yourselfer, he gave me lots of info on how to handle some typical problems.

Seems I am the first one writing reviews for Mega Power.  They actually had more reviews for the LA branch.  I read those reviews and I can tell that Gary really cares about his reputation.

OK, my story.  I was thinking of installing solar in early 2022, after learning NEM 3.0 in California would be delayed indefinitely.  I started my journey with energysage.com, and got quotes from 6 local installers, including Mega Power Electric Inc.  I've also reached out to SunPower, and left my contact at Sunrun in Costco.  I finally decided to work with Mega Power for these reasons: 1. many positive reviews; 2. their price is very competitive; 3. I work directly with the owner German (Gary), who actually does the job.  No sales; no project managers.  While those sales people are nice and professional, the process is just as as efficient as talking directly with Gary.  Mega Power does everything very fast.  Gary came to our house and took some pictures; went back and shared his initial plan; we wanted two additional panels; Gary revised the plan (within 24 hours).  One or two weeks later, Gary and his people were on my roof.  Installation of 24 panels was done within one day.  City inspector initially had questions about the ground wire.  Gary and his team came back another time, and finished #4 ground wire upgrade within a couple of hours.  Passed city inspection.  Getting approvals from PG&E (final step) was a long story.  Gary and Mega Power did whatever they could to help and I appreciate that.  Overall experience with Mega Power was quite positive.  Definitely recommend Mega Power for their efficiency, work quality, and communication.  Additional data points I would like to share: while Gary and his team worked on installation, I was busy filing complaints with another company for their no show activity in the very first scheduled meeting. Oh, my wife and I already recommended Mega Power to another lady.  I probably should collect some referral fee from Gary.

I contracted better electric to replace 5 ceiling fans in my house and Tyler was prompt in his responses and courteous, with an interest to get my needs met when I needed them on short notice. Chris came to perform the work and he was awesome! He worked so much harder than I anticipated. In my disappointment all of my original ceiling fans were placed incorrectly without the proper support box needed to withstand the weight of the fan (no wonder they always shook when they were on). Chris worked non-stop and never complained. He replaced all of our ceiling fans the proper way. He left our home sweaty, dirty, and exhausted but courteous through and through and never complained about all of the unanticipated labor and time it took. He was pleasant, professional, fast, neat, and all-around a pleasure to have in our home. I will definitely be contracting Tyler and his crew for my future electrical needs undoubtedly.

The owner contacted me to say that he believes I've confused his business with another business located in a different city.  I said that I have not because I received mail from them with this return address.  He should spend more time getting his techs to their appointments and less time monitoring his reputation on social media sites.  Meeting scheduled appointments will approve your reviews on social media sites and you won't have to worry about what people write about you!

Ivo was quick to respond and super knowledgeable. He was helpful in providing me options and communicating clearly. Extremely trustworthy, as I could not be at the property while they were doing the installation I actually had them do the entire installation and testing without me there. They locked up behind themselves and did a great job sending pictures of the functioning light after installation. Only reason for 4 and not 5 stars was that the price seemed a little steep. Ended up paying $400 for a little less than an hour of work to install an $100 light. Compare that to earlier in the day, paid $150 to have a new dishwasher installed (and old one hauled away). I was in a bind, so I made it work - but I'd probably shop around a bit next time.

When you use this company, make sure to ask for Paul Kelly. He's a skilled electrician with a wonderful nature. He explained things in a way I could understand, I know nothing about electricity, and he fixed things well in a decent amount of time. He was also very kind to my dogs, would have to be underfoot!
We were given an estimate to bring our electricity setup into the 21st century (not even kidding, we have twist-in instead of flip boxes!) and we will be asking for this gentleman to do the work.
