I seldom write reviews but felt compelled to do so for Hourmouz of Bay Sun Electric. He worked on the electrical portion of a recent remodel and did a good job. He was polite, helpful, and dependable, which is not always the case with many tradespeople. He worked hard and worked late to make sure we were not without power overnight during the remodel. Hourmouz was also flexible and willing to put in temporary measures to make things easier for us during the many months of remodel. Would strongly recommend him.

Our motion detector for our outdoor lighting stopped working. It was over 20 years old. Carlos came out and problem solved the situation and installed a new motion detector! He also checked all the electric outlets and made sure everything was working! His last name is Flores which means flowers in Spanish! Beautiful name and beautiful work! The owner Rey Flores also encouraged and advised! Great family work ethics in their garden!

Dave was able to come out the same day I called him. He had to charge Premium rates for it, but he came in, assessed the damage and was really thorough in his explanation of what he was fixing. He explained the way the house was wired and was kind enough to give a quote for more work in the future.

Rick from Main Stream Electric is a fantastic worker.I had three minor, but complicated electrical problems: miswired hot tub, rewired outdoor lights, and replacing a thermostat.Rick came out (called first to let me know he was coming) looked at each problem, got me a fair quote. It was reasonable and I accepted. Rick went out got the tools and supplies and completed the work.Courteous, efficient, very knowledgeable about electrical codes and safety, presented reasonable options, and a real customer first attitude.One of the top five service providers I have ever worked with.Without a doubt if I need an electrician I will call Main Stream Electric.

Highly recommend this company! Jesse and his crew are top notch! We moved into a little bit older home and I had concerns about the safety of the electrical. Jesse came right out and was able to identify problem areas right away and give us a quote. We felt very confident in his suggestions and scheduled service right away.

The crew (super nice and polite as well) did an amazing job of changing our sub panel, it's so organized and all labeled correctly now! They switched all of our outlets to new ones so there's no more risk of fire. Also put on a new breaker outside. Will 110% call AOE back for anything and everything electrical in the future and HIGHLY RECOMMEND. I can sleep at night knowing everything is safe now

I ended up using someone else because he was booked and busy.  Having said that Greg called me back the same day I called and since he could not see his schedule, he promised to call the next day and he did!!  I have no doubt he could have done the job, it's just I couldn't wait - it was only about a week but hey was in my redecorating zone.  I give 4 stars because he did respond and kept his word and that is really important to me.

Jessie is awesome!  Our electricity went out and I called him and he came right away.  He was upfront and said that if he needed to do some work, it would be $ 125 for a house call but if it was just a switch or something, there would be no charge.  He came out and looked and saw a loose breaker and flicked the switch and there was no charge!  This is a truly honest business guy who's just looking to do what's best for the consumer.  Great guy!  Thanks Jessie.

Seems I am the first one writing reviews for Mega Power.  They actually had more reviews for the LA branch.  I read those reviews and I can tell that Gary really cares about his reputation.

OK, my story.  I was thinking of installing solar in early 2022, after learning NEM 3.0 in California would be delayed indefinitely.  I started my journey with energysage.com, and got quotes from 6 local installers, including Mega Power Electric Inc.  I've also reached out to SunPower, and left my contact at Sunrun in Costco.  I finally decided to work with Mega Power for these reasons: 1. many positive reviews; 2. their price is very competitive; 3. I work directly with the owner German (Gary), who actually does the job.  No sales; no project managers.  While those sales people are nice and professional, the process is just as as efficient as talking directly with Gary.  Mega Power does everything very fast.  Gary came to our house and took some pictures; went back and shared his initial plan; we wanted two additional panels; Gary revised the plan (within 24 hours).  One or two weeks later, Gary and his people were on my roof.  Installation of 24 panels was done within one day.  City inspector initially had questions about the ground wire.  Gary and his team came back another time, and finished #4 ground wire upgrade within a couple of hours.  Passed city inspection.  Getting approvals from PG&E (final step) was a long story.  Gary and Mega Power did whatever they could to help and I appreciate that.  Overall experience with Mega Power was quite positive.  Definitely recommend Mega Power for their efficiency, work quality, and communication.  Additional data points I would like to share: while Gary and his team worked on installation, I was busy filing complaints with another company for their no show activity in the very first scheduled meeting. Oh, my wife and I already recommended Mega Power to another lady.  I probably should collect some referral fee from Gary.

I contracted better electric to replace 5 ceiling fans in my house and Tyler was prompt in his responses and courteous, with an interest to get my needs met when I needed them on short notice. Chris came to perform the work and he was awesome! He worked so much harder than I anticipated. In my disappointment all of my original ceiling fans were placed incorrectly without the proper support box needed to withstand the weight of the fan (no wonder they always shook when they were on). Chris worked non-stop and never complained. He replaced all of our ceiling fans the proper way. He left our home sweaty, dirty, and exhausted but courteous through and through and never complained about all of the unanticipated labor and time it took. He was pleasant, professional, fast, neat, and all-around a pleasure to have in our home. I will definitely be contracting Tyler and his crew for my future electrical needs undoubtedly.

The technician arrived early in the scheduled arrival window. He checked the furnace and hose connections as well as the compressor of our A/C unit. He shared the measurements he took of the motors of both the heating and cooling systems and clearly explained which numbers were in the normal range and which were not. He found a defective part in the compressor and we were able to have it replaced within the same day. The compressor now runs and sounds better. Matt was professional, knowledgeable, and efficient. ¹¹

I asked Orbis Electrical Works for help with adding an outlet to my toilet wall for a new Toto washlet toilet seat. They came to my house for a free estimation on time and answered my questions very patiently. A few days later, they came to complete the project promptly. I'm happy to have them help with my project, and will definitely hire them again when needed in the future.
