I will highly recommend Bay Sun Electric and especially Hourmouz. He is thorough in his job and you can safely entrust your home electric upgrades in his hands. He is honest, works diligently and you can trust him to do a quality job!

We have all heard the clichés and horror stories of hiring skilled tradesmen and often prefer to rely on personal recommendations from our friends and relatives for fear of getting cheated or mislead. Let me put it this way, I will gladly refer D&C to my elderly parents without any hesitation or my blind uncle with a wonky leg if I had one.
I don't really know where to start or what to say about D&C, they ARE THAT GOOD.
Daniel and Daniel Jr have been great to work with. Honest and knowledgeable are the words that come to mind. Daniel is very professional and has been very fair with his quotes and a stickler with his workmanship - with pride and strict adherence to the code.
Great job Daniel!

Alpha and Omega are always my go to Electricians. Being in Real Estate I always make sure my clients have the best resources for all their needs; especially for their safety and health items that need attention on their homes. That's why when it comes to electrical work, i always refer Jesse and his team! So when my husband and i needed to get some work done at our place this summer, we naturally called Jesse and his team. They were beyond amazing, professional, hard working, and exceeded our expectations with the quality of work. They showed up early and they stayed late...they have a work ethic that is hard to find these days and they do it with enthusiasm and kindness. It was enjoyable having them around. It was just a great reminder of why they are my go to electricians for ourselves personally, and all my clients as well. If you are looking at getting some electrical work done, do yourself a favor and call Jesse and his team. You won't regret it!

Gotta give these guys a shout out. I think the techs name was Ryan. My mother in law bought a house that the previous owner did a ton of unpermitted work on and none of it was up to code. One breaker runs more than half the house and surprise! It was fried. Ryan changed it out at a very reasonable price and was able to explain to my mother in law in a way she almost seemed to understand all the reasons she needs to hire a pro to fix the shoddy electrical job. He was also able to convince her to run her regular heater instead of running electrical cords all over the place with her stupid space heaters.

Absolute does great work, the are also very professional and are a great value. I recommend them for all of your electrical needs. The owner is very nice and he has an apprentice that is great as well.

I hope I am leaving this review in the right place. There are several Main Stream electrics, this should be the one with location in San Jose and Folsom, ca. Gabe came out, right on time. Diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Just like that. Compared with several other electricians in the area, that refused to even return a phone call--these guys were great. Gabe was friendly, professional and quick. Thanks so much!!

I recently used AOE to replace a sub panel and upgrade the main panel. Josh was very responsive and moved his schedule around to accommodate me. He met me the next day and insisted that the sub panel needed to be changed immediately as it was dangerous. He then went to get the parts and proceeded to install. He later did the necessary paperwork with PGE and City of Santa Cruz and installed a new electrical main panel. This was all coordinated and done in one day. This was important to me as this is a rental property and I needed to be assured that my tenants had power and a safe place to live. Thank you to Josh and his team.

I found Greg on Yelp. I contacted him on his vacation and he still took time away from his vacation to make sure all of my questions were answered. He was on time, polite and knowledgeable. What I appreciated most about Greg is he is quick and efficient. Greg charges by the hour (really reasonable pricing) I've experienced in the past a company who took their sweet time, because it means more $$$ for them. Greg gets a lot done within an hour and I appreciate that about him. So happy I have an electrician in town for all future electric issues. Thanks Greg, see you soon.

I had a doorbell wiring issue and Ro gave me a fair quote and came by on time with Sergei and fixed plus also replaced the transformer. They were courteous and polite and eager to help, so gave them additional work to install some lights in the backyard. I would call Ro again!!

Nice man, gave me advice over the phone and solved the problem without even coming out to my home.

I didn't go looking for Jesse; he was recommended to me by the HVAC company that was putting in my new central air and heating. I needed to redo all the electrical in my house, since it had very old knob and tube wiring and I couldn't even put insulation in the attic on top of it. As it was, I had already picked out an electrician who I was going with, but the HVAC guys said such great things about Jesse that I had to meet with him. And I'm sure glad I did!
Jesse is a very straightforward guy. When you meet with him, he'll tell you all about himself, and his family, and his history, and how he became such an expert in the electrical field. At first you might thing TMI! But in the end, you realize that this is just Jesse trying to make you feel at ease with him, with no pressure to hire him, and he even makes it feel guilt-free if you decide to go with someone else.
The real irony here, though, is that Jesse turned out to be waaaay better than the HVAC company I hired. He was able to tell me ahead of time what they were doing wrong -- and how to fix it. In the end, they fixed every problem there was, and I appreciate that in a company, but it really helped to have Jesse there to give me a heads up.
Jesse worked on our attic during one of the really hot spells this summer. I dropped by the house during the high heat of the day, expecting the house to be empty because it was way to hot to work, but there was Jesse -- in the attic no less -- working and sweating his butt off. The HVAC guys, it should be noted, were no where to be seen! I didn't want to bother Jesse, so I left and returned around 8:00 p.m. that night to see how things had been progressing. Well slap my a** and call me Judy, but there was Jesse, still in the attic, still sweating, and still working his butt off! He really was/is the hardest working contractor I have ever seen (or likely will ever see!). I was truly impressed with his work ethic and sense of professionalism. But it doesn't stop there.
Jesse also has an encyclopedic knowledge of the electrical code, and can virtually quote chapter and verse of it. It was a joy to watch him yucking it up with the Code Inspector for the final inspection, and I could swear that he was finishing the inspector's sentences for him! There were some changes to the code that weren't supposed to go into effect until later in the summer, but the inspector wanted Jesse to implement them now. With no complaint, and with no extra charge, Jesse spent an entire additional day implementing the new code changes onto the work that he had already done. You do NOT get service like that these days, certainly not from a contractor!
Is Jesse infallible? Not really. He is human after all. He was not able to finish the job exactly on schedule, excluding the extra day for implementing the new code changes. But even this wasn't really his fault. The HVAC guys had hammered in some nails through three or four different lines in the attic (ugh!), and Jesse had to completely re-run those lines. He could have just spliced them at the cut, but he's way too professional for that. He never even complained about the HVAC guys doing that -- they told me about it (kudos to them for their honesty).
Jesse also did a great job of cleaning up after himself every day, which was really great. I did, at one point, blame him for the tremendous amount of drywall dust all over the floors, the walls, the furniture, etc. He explained that he cleaned up after himself every day, but all you had to do was look around at all the dust to wonder if he was crazy. Well, once again the HVAC guys confessed to making the mess. And they even offered to hire a professional cleaning crew to come in and clean it up (which we did!). Once I factored that into the equation, I realized that Jesse was in fact super clean in the limited amount of wall work that he did (i.e., he vacuumed up after every cut into the wall).
I try to write fair and balanced reviews to be helpful to people. I realize this review sounds like I'm trying to get a job for a close family member. But I'm not. Well, if I had to say there was a drawback to hiring Jesse, I guess it would be that he is a small company (just himself) and for larger jobs it will take a little longer. But his prices are definitely lower than the big companies, so it all washes out in the end. Oops. That turned into a plus. Well, all I can do is recommend that you meet Jesse, let him tell you his story and give you an estimate, and then you can make up your own mind about what I'm saying.
But I do highly recommend Jesse for any and all electrical work that you might have to do.

Brian is awesome! He installed our dining room pendant lights in about 2 hours. Called him on a Saturday and he was in by Monday (maybe I got lucky with his availability). He'll be our go-to electrician from now on! (Until he retires to Tahoe, that is :) )

Seems I am the first one writing reviews for Mega Power. They actually had more reviews for the LA branch. I read those reviews and I can tell that Gary really cares about his reputation.
OK, my story. I was thinking of installing solar in early 2022, after learning NEM 3.0 in California would be delayed indefinitely. I started my journey with energysage.com, and got quotes from 6 local installers, including Mega Power Electric Inc. I've also reached out to SunPower, and left my contact at Sunrun in Costco. I finally decided to work with Mega Power for these reasons: 1. many positive reviews; 2. their price is very competitive; 3. I work directly with the owner German (Gary), who actually does the job. No sales; no project managers. While those sales people are nice and professional, the process is just as as efficient as talking directly with Gary. Mega Power does everything very fast. Gary came to our house and took some pictures; went back and shared his initial plan; we wanted two additional panels; Gary revised the plan (within 24 hours). One or two weeks later, Gary and his people were on my roof. Installation of 24 panels was done within one day. City inspector initially had questions about the ground wire. Gary and his team came back another time, and finished #4 ground wire upgrade within a couple of hours. Passed city inspection. Getting approvals from PG&E (final step) was a long story. Gary and Mega Power did whatever they could to help and I appreciate that. Overall experience with Mega Power was quite positive. Definitely recommend Mega Power for their efficiency, work quality, and communication. Additional data points I would like to share: while Gary and his team worked on installation, I was busy filing complaints with another company for their no show activity in the very first scheduled meeting. Oh, my wife and I already recommended Mega Power to another lady. I probably should collect some referral fee from Gary.

I had a great experience today with
the licensed electrician that i hired.
The company is Valencia Electric, Inc.
The owner, Natalie Valencia, was very honest, professional, prompt, friendly,
and neat.
Over the last several years, my kitchen and bedroom lights kept going out.
I thought i had serious electrical problems; but instead, I only needed to replace the fixtures-
Natalie offered to go get the fixtures or to have me pick them out at the local store.
I decided to pick out what i wanted.
Also, she replaced the motion detector light bulb that was broken by vandals last month.
I thought i would have to replace the entire motion detector; but, she saved me money by simply replacing the bulb.
If you need an honest, professional and prompt electrician please consider hiring (tell your friends, too)

I had Tyler come out and do some electrical work I wanted some new lighting in my kitchen. He called me to confirm the appt and then showed up on time. He was prepared and efficient. He did exactly what I wanted and worked clean and fast. I already have some more electrical projects at my house that I need done and he is the only electrician that I trust. He's easy to get ahold of and accommodating to your life schedule. While he was there working on my lights he took a courtesy look at this outlet in my bathroom that wasn't working and he found the issue and fixed it for me.

Company will charge insane amounts! Had a call to the house for an issue with the thermostat. The tech came out, and addressed the issue. He asked if we had a new thermostat ready, because our old one was bad. We said no, and he sighed and said I'll check how much we charge for a new one How would you not know? He replaced our thermostat and said I got you guys a prettier one, and i'm going to charge you less and give you a really good deal! We said, Okay thank you so much we really appreciate that! He went on to ask us if we were working, and in need of a job because they are hiring and will pay for schooling. I let him know we were not interested in his type of work.
Well fast forward to when we were paying for the service via debit card. The tech had me sign, and wouldnt really let us know the breakdown of the services and the thermostat. He would only tell us the total amount. His whole presence was shady.
We checked the invoice, and looked up the new thermostat that we had. Online this thermostat retails for $140 and this company sold us the same one for $340. Good deal? Giving me a discount? WHERE?! This company is great at getting you out of a few hundred dollars. I'm sure he gets a great commission off of that thermostat. He was also offering us jobs? No thank you. I'd hate to live my life and work in an environment that requires you to not only finesse but lie and deceive your customers. Please take into consideration the other reviewers that give low ratings. Money making champions is definitely correct. Beware!

Ivo and his guy Miro were great to work with and I'd work with them again in the future. I put out an inquiry on Yelp to 5 electricians and Orbis Electrical Works was the first to respond (within minutes). From there, Ivo and I communicated regularly to work out the details. He got me scheduled to begin work within a week and from there it took 2 days to install lights for 3 rooms. Miro came and did the work and he was great. He took great care to properly cover the carpet and the furniture, which I greatly appreciated. Ivo and Miro were very experienced and professional, demonstrated by their advice for installation and their knowledge of fire codes. Safety was a top priority for them which made me feel at ease.

From start to finish our experience with Divine was outstanding. They came out immediately to investigate smell of burning plastic- diagnosed the problem, gave us options and were honest, open and transparent throughout the entire process. They came out to do the job within the same week and were extremely professional and did excellent work. Thank you Paul, Juan and Luis! You made an otherwise stressful situation a breeze to resolve. We will use Divine for all our electrical needs in the future. Recommend them in the strongest possible terms.
