After finally ready to have some recessed lighting installed, I started my research for a local electrician who would be the right fit overall. I messaged Hourmouz as he quickly responded back and I scheduled an appt for an in-home estimate. He was very friendly and professional with a cool vibe that makes you feel confident and comfortable. I accepted his estimate that I thought was reasonable and he had very good communication throughout the entire process. The day of installation, he was on time and started work immediately with all of the great preparations including assisting me with moving some furniture out of the way as he also put drop cloth on my wooden flooring which I appreciated. He did have to cut through some drywall to run some new wiring but afterwards, he did patch up and painted as it looked clean and well done.  Overall I was very satisfied with his service as I will definitely call again, I highly recommend Bay Sun Electric.

I have no words. I called these guys because most of the lighting in my house was going out and I also wanted to invest in LED lighting.

I called their number and Daniel answered. He was at my house in less than 2 hours. He took his time to assess the situation and listen to my concerns. By the end of the day I had the estimate in hand. I approved it and Daniel's crew started the very next day. I had LED can lights installed in the whole house and it's just WOW. Such a big difference.

Jesse and his crew members are great to work with! AOE was quick to respond for an on-site estimate for installing a light over our kitchen table and quick to get us in the schedule once we decided to do the work. He and his assistant arrived on time, took great care to keep our entrance and kitchen clean while in process. AOE was thoughtful and helpful with the proper placement of the light in relation to the other lights over our island and did a great job of installing a new dimmer switch without marking up the walls or creating a need to repaint. When they were done it was like the light had always been there! They did the job efficiently and we are really happy happy we went with Alpha Omega. We'll definitely call them again for electrical needs.

Ray and his entire team were beyond efficient, respectful of Covid distancing, clean work by relocating our entire entertainment center to another room (which eliminated lots of cords in our living room).  They also updated our electrical panel in our garage.  They left each area clean after having to drill through multiple walls.  Ray is very responsive before, during and after each of their projects in our home.  We will continue to reach out to Ray for any further electrical needs we might have.  HIGHLY RECOMMEND Ray and his Team.

Schedule for my garage got moved up. Needed electrical for sub panel roughed in for inspection so we could pour concrete. I called Don, told him I had accepted his quote but had a schedule change. Don came out, checked job site and said he could start the next day.  They got the trenching done and conduit ran from main panel, under house, out to trench and stub up thru garage floor. Got my inspection and approval in time to meet schedule. Don and his crew were courteous and professional. Jacob could not have worked harder to help meet schedule.
This is the third time I used Main Stream Electric and I have been happy every time.

Josh was one of a few electric companies that I called, and he responded quickly to let me know when he could schedule me and also said that an earlier slot may open up. A few days later, Josh called back with an earlier appointment, just as he had explained. Love that that do as they say. With regards to the work, Gabe was very professional, accommodating and competent. Happy to have worked with them and will seek them out again for any other electric work that I need.

Greg was amazing and installed 3 ceiling fans for us. He was quick, efficient and very friendly. Would recommend him to anyone looking for some electrical work.

Sergei helped me to remove my old moulding and installed new ones. He was able to come help me out the next day with very a reasonable price. I'd hire them again for stuff I need in the house.

Update: Mark just did another job in the crawlspace of my house. After he was done he reported having come across some potential plumbing issues. So I finally went down there myself to evaluate my plumbing and got to see the work from the two jobs he had done - it's all first grade!

A while after moving into our new home we discovered that almost none of the 30+ receptacles were properly grounded. I had 4 companies come in for an estimate. After some email exchanges that were promptly answered we went with Mark, the owner of Precision Electric, who was one of the few companies that took a very thorough look at what needed to be done and how we liked to have it done before even giving us a quote. Mark has a professional attitude and gave a very competitive quote. Although one quote came in slightly cheaper it was from a guy who didn't even disassemble and receptacles to get a better idea of the status of the electrical wiring in the house. Mark even checked out the crawlspace to see whether the wires could be run below the house or would have to be run in the attic. Mark stood out because of his professional attitude and attention to detail.
The work was carried out in a very professional manner and he stood behind his quote, although rewiring some outlets were more challenging than he had estimated. He was also open to additional requests that came up during the job, like installing 3 ceiling boxes for fans, running additional Cat6 cable for Ethernet and making some other changes to the original plan.
Mark was nice and easy to work with, returned phone calls quickly and got the job done right. He was also flexible to ensure the least conflict with our work schedule. His crew also cleaned up nicely after them, but it would have been nice would they have covered the main areas they worked in a bit better as to covering the new hardwood floors before walking on them and not allowing dust to get spread across the house.

We discovered a serious problem that needed attention on a Sunday. The PG&E guy who came at 1:00 am was baffled and had us shut off the power. I left messages for several highly Yelp rated electricians, and Jesse was the only one to respond. He got here in about 30 minutes, and very professionally and methodically found the cause (an abandoned wire that was still energized and contacting a metal hardy frame). It was a serious fire hazard, and needed immediate attention. The price he charged was more than fair - and we have him scheduled to come do more work. 5 is the highest Yelp rating, but I'd give hime a 10 if I could.

Contacted Cozy House through yelp to get a quote for replacing a breaker. The AC unit stopped working in the unit and a previous diagnosis from another company told us we'd need to get the breaker replaced.

Ivan was extremely responsive and was able to schedule an inspection for the following morning. After the inspection he told me that the AC unit actually turned back on without any additional work and his recommendation is not to change anything, but that if this happens again he'd happily come back and look into/fix the issue. He provided me with a fair/competitive quote for what it would cost to change the breaker + parts.

We were in need of some rewiring in the attic ahead of a HVAC installation. Brian was quick to respond to a general quote request through Yelp and came out a couple of days later to give a more comprehensive quote. He thoroughly explained the work that needed to be done and gave us a cost-competitive quote (compared to 3-4 other companies). He also highlighted another issue with the electrical in the attic (a potential fire hazard) and included a fix to this problem in his quote. When he returned on the day of the HVAC installation we realized that there had been some miscommunication in the original quote as the job at hand was actually larger than anticipated. Brian was however very flexible and gave us a sharply discounted price on the spot for the additional work that was needed. We very generally very happy with Brian's work and the HVAC contractor also told us it had been a pleasure to work with Brian.

Seems I am the first one writing reviews for Mega Power.  They actually had more reviews for the LA branch.  I read those reviews and I can tell that Gary really cares about his reputation.

OK, my story.  I was thinking of installing solar in early 2022, after learning NEM 3.0 in California would be delayed indefinitely.  I started my journey with energysage.com, and got quotes from 6 local installers, including Mega Power Electric Inc.  I've also reached out to SunPower, and left my contact at Sunrun in Costco.  I finally decided to work with Mega Power for these reasons: 1. many positive reviews; 2. their price is very competitive; 3. I work directly with the owner German (Gary), who actually does the job.  No sales; no project managers.  While those sales people are nice and professional, the process is just as as efficient as talking directly with Gary.  Mega Power does everything very fast.  Gary came to our house and took some pictures; went back and shared his initial plan; we wanted two additional panels; Gary revised the plan (within 24 hours).  One or two weeks later, Gary and his people were on my roof.  Installation of 24 panels was done within one day.  City inspector initially had questions about the ground wire.  Gary and his team came back another time, and finished #4 ground wire upgrade within a couple of hours.  Passed city inspection.  Getting approvals from PG&E (final step) was a long story.  Gary and Mega Power did whatever they could to help and I appreciate that.  Overall experience with Mega Power was quite positive.  Definitely recommend Mega Power for their efficiency, work quality, and communication.  Additional data points I would like to share: while Gary and his team worked on installation, I was busy filing complaints with another company for their no show activity in the very first scheduled meeting. Oh, my wife and I already recommended Mega Power to another lady.  I probably should collect some referral fee from Gary.

Natalie is awesome! I was super nervous about mounting a TV over our fireplace, but she did a beautiful job! She's very responsive, punctual, and helpful. She explained everything about what she was doing and found the cleanest way to install the TV. Thanks Natalie!

Tyler is easy to work with. Had a ceiling fan installed without pre existing wiring and had a GFCI outdoor outlet replaced. Quality work don't hesitate to use.

After years of issues with our unit we bought an entire new HVAC system from Service Champions and also the MVP package. The service has been top notch outstanding!!  Everyone has been responsive, knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. No question is to dumb or issue too small for them to handle it quickly, competently and professionally.  Gina, the tech that came out today for our annual service checkup was a delight to work with. She answered all our questions and showed us pictures of everything and was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!
