Hourmouz was able to arrive same day that I called him and started the work. I needed an electrical plug for a clothes dryer installed. It was a brand new home and the laundry was plumbed for a gas dryer only. I had been given a quote of $1050 by Maine Electric and thought that was high so I got a second estimate. Boy am I glad I did. Not only did Hourmouz quote me a price for the same exact work at 1/3 the cost but he also took care of installing a couple other outlets in the master and even still was less than $600. (Maine Electric would have charged $378 for each of the two additional outlets, bringing their total to $1800.)
Hourmouz did the work in a very professional manner. He had to cut holes in the dry wall in order to run the wires and he was able to patch and paint in a way that one could never tell the wall had been cut into. That was very important to me since this was a brand new home.
I was super impressed with Hourmouz and have referred him to two of my friends. I hope they call him and I know I will if ever i need an electrician again.

We have all heard the clichés and horror stories of hiring skilled tradesmen and often prefer to rely on personal recommendations from our friends and relatives for fear of getting cheated or mislead. Let me put it this way, I will gladly refer D&C to my elderly parents without any hesitation or my blind uncle with a wonky leg if I had one.
I don't really know where to start or what to say about D&C, they ARE THAT GOOD.
Daniel and Daniel Jr have been great to work with. Honest and knowledgeable are the words that come to mind. Daniel is very professional and has been very fair with his quotes and a stickler with his workmanship - with pride and strict adherence to the code.
Great job Daniel!

Alpha Omega Electric came to install a new 240V line for us when we switched from a gas range to an electric range. They did a great job and I would highly recommend them. (They were recommended to us by a friend).
Jesse came out at gave us a quote which we appreciated and answered all the questions that we had. Luis came on the day to do the job and he was extremely nice and very professional and knowledgeable. He did the job in the estimated 3 hour timeframe and the work was very neat and clean. He even fixed a couple of other issues for us.
The job cost quite a bit but since we needed a lot of copper wire, this was expected. Their cost also compared favorably with the estimates we got from two other companies.
We would happily use Alpha Omega Electric again.

Very disappointed in Flores Electric. They picked up and answered my questions immediately. I then set up an appointment set up an appointment and they did not show.

We used Dave and crew to distribute power and advise on the electrical requirements of our new manufacturing facility. He completed the large job on time and on budget and even went out of his way to come back in and hard wire the electrical into our machines once they were delivered.
Beyond that Dave is a really nice guy and extremely trustworthy and genuine. Highly recommended for commercial work. We didn't want to paint over any of his conduit because it was so beautifully done. We have no need to look for another electrician for future projects. Dave is the man!

These guys were very professional. They made sure to clean up after they were done. Which I really appreciated. I would definitely use them again in the future.

I ordered a range with delivery/installation included. The installers said the range couldn't be hardwired, ripped out the hardwire connection from my old range, and left the new range sitting on cardboard in the middle of my kitchen.
Cree Darling came out six hours after I called and replaced the connection that the installers had ripped out, and mounted the junction box in a better location so I'd have an easier time installing the stove myself -- AND got it all done in the first hour.
I couldn't have asked for better service or a better electrician to help me out. I'm beyond impressed.

Did CFL to LED conversion. Charged 70 bucks per light which is average. Finished quick. So far so good. Would recommend if that is the service you need.

I recently used Precision Electric (Mark) to run a new 50 AMP circuit for a hot tub and hook it up. He came out and gave me a reasonable quote and then did a wonderful job when it came to doing the work. There is a reason his company is named Precision Electric. That is, he is very precise in his work. You can tell he takes great pride in doing a clean and safe job. Interestingly, this wasn't the first time I called Precision Electric (Mark) out to my house. A year earlier I was doing a kitchen remodel and had all new appliances delivered and was freaking out because while reading the installation instructions I convinced myself I needed more capacity and called Mark out ready (well not exactly ready but had resigned myself) to spend some more money. He made time to come out right away so as not to hold up my remodel. He assessed the situation and told me all was okay and didn't charge a penny so my assessment is that he is honest to boot. If you have electric work to be done in the Livermore/Tri-Valley area, give this company a call.

Jesee installed a fan and 2 can lights in our bathroom. We asked if he could install a timer switch for the fan. He agreed but said that he had to order the part and that it would be in later in the week. He asked us to call him when we were available. We did just that and he said he would come. Well, he never did. We called him and he apologized that he got stuck at another job so we set up another time that he could finish the switch. Well, he never came. This happened another 2 times. I wish he would have just told us that he wouldn't finish the job instead of stringing us along.

Two of our outdoor electrical outlets were not working , even when I reset the GFCI, and no circuit breakers were tripped. Cozy House was the fastest respondent, came out quickly.
Ivan troubleshooted that a GFCI outlet had gone bad and replaced that one. He also upgraded the non-GFCI that was near a jacuzzi to GFCI and installed a new outdoor outlet cover
Great experience; I'm planning on getting a quote to repair and extend our outdoor light system

We were in need of some rewiring in the attic ahead of a HVAC installation. Brian was quick to respond to a general quote request through Yelp and came out a couple of days later to give a more comprehensive quote. He thoroughly explained the work that needed to be done and gave us a cost-competitive quote (compared to 3-4 other companies). He also highlighted another issue with the electrical in the attic (a potential fire hazard) and included a fix to this problem in his quote. When he returned on the day of the HVAC installation we realized that there had been some miscommunication in the original quote as the job at hand was actually larger than anticipated. Brian was however very flexible and gave us a sharply discounted price on the spot for the additional work that was needed. We very generally very happy with Brian's work and the HVAC contractor also told us it had been a pleasure to work with Brian.

Seems I am the first one writing reviews for Mega Power. They actually had more reviews for the LA branch. I read those reviews and I can tell that Gary really cares about his reputation.
OK, my story. I was thinking of installing solar in early 2022, after learning NEM 3.0 in California would be delayed indefinitely. I started my journey with energysage.com, and got quotes from 6 local installers, including Mega Power Electric Inc. I've also reached out to SunPower, and left my contact at Sunrun in Costco. I finally decided to work with Mega Power for these reasons: 1. many positive reviews; 2. their price is very competitive; 3. I work directly with the owner German (Gary), who actually does the job. No sales; no project managers. While those sales people are nice and professional, the process is just as as efficient as talking directly with Gary. Mega Power does everything very fast. Gary came to our house and took some pictures; went back and shared his initial plan; we wanted two additional panels; Gary revised the plan (within 24 hours). One or two weeks later, Gary and his people were on my roof. Installation of 24 panels was done within one day. City inspector initially had questions about the ground wire. Gary and his team came back another time, and finished #4 ground wire upgrade within a couple of hours. Passed city inspection. Getting approvals from PG&E (final step) was a long story. Gary and Mega Power did whatever they could to help and I appreciate that. Overall experience with Mega Power was quite positive. Definitely recommend Mega Power for their efficiency, work quality, and communication. Additional data points I would like to share: while Gary and his team worked on installation, I was busy filing complaints with another company for their no show activity in the very first scheduled meeting. Oh, my wife and I already recommended Mega Power to another lady. I probably should collect some referral fee from Gary.

Long overdue review for Natalie. She is amazing! She has done a couple projects at our place and is efficient, professional, reasonably priced, etc. She has converted 2 prong outlets to 3 prong, put in new outlets altogether, added lighting outside, and created dim lighting in our bedrooms. Highly recommend working with her for your electrical needs.

Tyler is sooooo kind. I called him way after hour, he called back right away, FaceTime me to walk me through how to fix my electricity issue. So thoughtful, so helpful. He surely love what he do and willing to go the extra mile to help his customers. Totally recommend him and use him again as he's now our family's go to electrician. Thank you so much, Tyler!

I want everyone to know about my Service Champions experience. I called initially and told them I have two units, an upstairs and a downstairs unit. They told me the service call would be $ 69.00 each to look at them, even though they are side by side. They scheduled an appointment for two days later. The day before my appointment, they called and saying they I needed a call to confirm the appointment or they would not show up. Fortunately, my wife was home and called on my behalf.
The day of my appointment, the scheduling girl calls at 7:30 am to ask if I am available for an earlier appointment and left a voice message. I called them back at 8:00 am and the girl said she called to see if I was available early but they already moved another appointment so now she just wanted to confirm my appointment between 9-11. I confirmed this and she said she would call me to update me on the tech's status.
The scheduling personnel called me three times over the next couple hours because their technician was having difficulties on his previous job. They told me they would be later or not in my assigned window. I explained that I had an appointment I had to leave for at 1:30 pm. The rep. told me on the third call that they could probably make 12:00 pm but they don't want to rush the appointment. She asked to reschedule the following day, which I agreed to, between 11 am and 1 pm. She told me she would take $10 off my charge. (Off each unit, off the total charge, or what?) $10 off $138.00, big deal, I wasted my entire morning waiting for your tech.
The following morning, the scheduling girl called again, letting me know the technician was on his way. Once he (Tim) arrived, I took him to the rear yard to examine the units. He looked at the first one, which I told him up front I thought needed a relay. He examined it and quickly told me it needed a capacitor. Next came the sales pitch. The capacitor is bad. It will cost you $369.00 for the part (capacitor) but, if you sign up for our service plan of $301.00 per year, we can save you money. I told him I simply wanted to fix the unit and did not want to commit to a service pan. He said no problem. I explained the problems I had the previous day with the scheduling mix up and told him the girl told me said she was going to discount my repair $10. Tim replied, saying he was going to discount things for me more than that.
Move on to the second unit, which I told them was working but did not get cold and probably needed Freon. Tim looked at the second unit and immediately said the unit also needed a new capacitor. He installed the new part and guess what, it still did not get the unit cooling. Here is what he told me, this is why the capacitor part costs so much, because it is a dual function part. If the compressor doesn't start pretty soon, we have to look deeper. The compressor did not start and ultimately Tim found there was a burnt pin on the side of the compressor, so the compressor is shot. Tim said he had to call a senior technician to verify his diagnosis and who would give me options on the fix. To Tim's credit he did remove the new capacitor on the unit as it was not the problem, so I was not charged for it.
Tim called the office and they were able to arrange for a senior technician to come to my house. Tim finished up and charged me $438.00; not a dime was taken off for the inconvenience the previous day. Enter Bob Mikiali, who I met in front of the house. He told me he met Tim and saw a picture of the burned pin. He inspected the unit and then looked at the blower unit in the attic. He asked me what he could do for me and I asked him to price out what a new unit would cost vs. what it would cost for me to repair the existing unit. He went into his sales pitch mode trying to sell me on a whole new unit of $13,000 + dollars with this great no down program. When I asked him what it would cost me to repair the current unit, he replied twice that it would be about $3,000.00, but never priced it out for me as I asked. He continued to push the HERO program and when I told him I wanted to talk with my wife about it, he seemed upset that I would not instantly commit to a large purchase. Bob left the house and I have had no follow-up since the appointment, 2 weeks ago. I guess they really don't want to fix my air conditioning.
Once Bob left, I went on line to research the expensive capacitor and found the part runs about $10-25 depending on where you buy it. In fact, I bought three of the same capacitors for $24.00. Really, $369.00 for a part that costs a mere $8.00 or less when buying them in bulk. How much profit do you really need to make?
Tim was friendly but it is obvious he has been trained to be a salesman and mislead people regarding part costs. Bob was also friendly but when I did not commit to a new unit he got frustrated and never followed up with me. Steer clear of Service Champions.

Ivo and his guy Miro were great to work with and I'd work with them again in the future. I put out an inquiry on Yelp to 5 electricians and Orbis Electrical Works was the first to respond (within minutes). From there, Ivo and I communicated regularly to work out the details. He got me scheduled to begin work within a week and from there it took 2 days to install lights for 3 rooms. Miro came and did the work and he was great. He took great care to properly cover the carpet and the furniture, which I greatly appreciated. Ivo and Miro were very experienced and professional, demonstrated by their advice for installation and their knowledge of fire codes. Safety was a top priority for them which made me feel at ease.

Great experience and customer service. After initial call to get a technician out, the office took care of everything and kept me updated in a very professional and timely manner.
Jeff Wuest came out to check on a issue I was having with some lights and fixed the issue promptly adding in some great advice and tips along the way. He also helped advise on some other potential projects we'd like to do and is definitely someone I will request to come back out when we're ready to move forward or have any other issues!
Very pleased. Thanks!
