Well, it's rarely good news when you need an emergency plumber. Our drains were completely clogged (mainline) which caused interior backups. It's been a nightmare in terms of water damage.

On the bright side, Ali showed up to our house within 1 hour of my call. His price for hydro jetting was lower than several competitors that I called. And, he was able to complete the job in around 40 minutes.

My first job with PIC was a really good experience -- fast, honest, and reasonable service and I really liked Josh on the phone.  Unfortunately I really wanted to like the second job but it was a terrible experience no matter how hard I tried to salvage it.  My window of arrival was 10:00 - 12:00.  At some point, I got a text saying the plumber, Eric, was en route and would be there shortly.  Almost an hour later and way past the window of arrival still no plumber.  So I call and am told he will be there shortly,..got delayed at last job.  Would have been nice if he had called, but okay.  So around 12:45 he shows up.  He is able to do part of the job and installs 4 angle stops.  Installed 4 angle stops for $400.  He should  have told me how much it would be BEFORE the job--not after.  I was a little surprised since the first job was so reasonable.  But okay, partly my fault for not insisting on an estimate before the job.  So I pay him and we discuss the rest of the work.  I explain to him that due to lack of maintenance in the building, when there is a water shut off, the system blows gravel, sand, and sediment into my lines and faucets since my unit is right under the building plumbing.  He tells me that the faucets cannot be fixed and must be replaced.  I tell him I thought so because this has happened before.  I would have preferred he examine the faucet first but he just insisted they needed replacement.  He gives me an estimate to replace each faucet for $300 each for a total of $600 -- and I would furnish the faucets.  Okay that sounds high but maybe I'll just have them do it.   I tell him I need a write up that explains the issue.  This had happened 2 years ago and my building paid for the faucet replacement because it was a common area problem.  The building had come up with a preventative maintenance plan but due to employee turnover it fell through the cracks.  The previous plumber had described the sediment clogging my faucets and my building paid for the faucets.  He said sure he will write that up--and that he further wanted me to know that the angle stops were also corroded with sediment--and that they are wearing out prematurely due to the sediment.  I told him I'd appreciate if he included that description in the write up.  He said sure.   I informed him I wasn't going to ask my building to pay for the angle stops--just the faucets.  And that  I wanted to explain the issue to the building--not to be reimbursed but to illustrate why we need to get back on the preventative maintenance plan.   He said he would get the write up to me that evening.   When I never got the write up and estimate for the faucets, I called the next day and spoke to the receptionist, Michelle.  I eventually got an estimate and write up that was completely different than what Eric had said to me.   The write up said that he was not an expert and does not diagnose this type of problem.  Also the write up said that he will replace the two faucets because the customer wants them replaced.  It said nothing about the sediment he said he found around the angle stops and it said nothing about the fact that he insisted the faucets needed to be replaced due to being impacted with sediment.  Just disclaimers and that I wanted new faucets.  I then called the company again and explained that I only wanted the plumber to write what he told me to my face -- no expert option.  Just a write up of what he described that he saw and his telling me they must be replaced and could not be repaired.  I just wanted him to back up what he said to me in person--no expert diagnosis.  Michelle said she was sorry and would have him call me.  I also emailed the same message.  He never called.  And I never got a response to my email.  I then called and told Michelle what was going on.  She said she would have a manager call me.  No call from a manager ever came.   I then called a few days later and Michelle said she was going to escalate it since both the plumber and manager refused to call.  I said I'm not going to hold my breath.  She insisted that this was going higher up the chain and someone would definitely call me.  At that point I just laughed.  That was July 30th.  It's now August 17th and still no call.   Big surprise.   I then called another plumber who replaced both faucets for $150 each for a total of $300.  That plumber had no problem taking photos and describing what he found in a write up.   Not only that, but he charged me half the price that Eric said it would cost--without the write up.   Most people would not try that hard for a plumbing company to redeem itself.  But due to the good first experience I thought it was a fluke and kept calling to give them a chance.  Just a short call would have cleared it up in my opinion.  Still a mystery why they refused to call me.  Strange.  But the good news is that I found a great new plumber!

Discovered I had water leaking from my ceiling from a burst water pipe and had called 4 different companies that afternoon. Only True Value Plumbing was able to come out that same day. Talked to Cody and he sent Chris who recommended a restoration company come out as well. I was hesitant because I thought the leak was contained to only a small area and not that bad but when they opened up the ceiling a large gush of water came pouring through. If I had waited until the next day that water would have been just sitting in my ceiling and the water damage would have likely been much much worse. Replacing the water pipe was quick and they recommended getting my pressure valve replaced in order to hopefully prevent future issues like these arising. These guys are extremely prompt and knowledgeable and very good on communication which is huge. They've earned my business. I highly recommend!

Our new fridge was slightly too tall because of the electrical housing on the top front of the fridge, which we missed when measuring the space.  We had a big dilemma because we really loved the fridge and couldn't really find another that was comparable.  So it was either settle for something we didn't like as much or figure out a way to alter the kitchen cabinet to raise it by 3/4 inch.

We went with the second option.  After calling a few places, I came across Alejandro and asked if he could help with my project.  He was very quick to respond and told me he'd come by the following morning to assess the situation.  He was punctual and very knowledgeable, going through different scenarios of how we could get the job done without creating too much work and still yielding the best result.  

It was really fun to watch and help where I could.  I ended up learning a lot from Alejandro.

5-STAR, White-glove customer service! I had a 4-foot piece of broken clay piping (located under the city street) which I was obligated as the homeowner to pay out of pocket for in the city of San Marcos. I had a company come out to perform the work that needed to be done before I called Perry Plumbing and after performing a sewer scope, they told me, I am sorry, but we cannot fix this problem. I called Perry Plumbing and they sent Justin out the same day within 3 hours to assess the situation; mind you, they generally don't service the San Marcos area. He assessed the situation and sent me multiple options the same day on how to fix the problem. The work orders laid out the work to be done in very specific detail. Once I decided to pull the trigger, Perry Plumbing sent somebody out the very next day to start digging through my driveway. The following day, Justin and Nathan showed up first thing in the morning and removed 2 large rocks and a large piece of broken clay from the pipe! Seeing photos and video from their camera of the blockage, it seemed that it would be nearly impossible to remove everything. After removal, they lined the pipe where the break was located and the pipe is fixed better than before. These two went above and beyond to service my home. Justin made himself available 24/7 by quickly responding to my messages and phone calls. I would recommend Perry Plumbing, Justin, and Nathan to anybody who is having a plumbing issue and wants the BEST service out there.

Earlier this year my bathroom sink stopped draining completely. I thought it was a normal clog, but the drain snake just wasn't going in, so I knew I needed a professional. I reached out to All City Plumbing on Yelp and they were quick to respond and soon technician William Pressnall was on his way over.

A few hours of hard work later he was persistent and able to clear out our sink drain.

I had a leak on my main and CPL was recommended by Plumbing Plus because the main ran under my driveway. Jose Chacon showed up on time and called prior to coming to my house. He was very professional and very personable to talk to. He identified the leak and where my main was and the depth it was at across my property. Had a midnight plumbing emergency. They were responsive, came exactly when they said they would, quickly resolved the issue and we're very professional and friendly. If I need another plumber I will absolutely use them.

Showed up right away when I called. Great pricing and very knowledgeable. Had my roots cleared from my sewer system with Hydro Jetter and camera the line for free after to ensure there were no more obstructions. Highly recommend!!!!!

So happy with Mike from R&R. We had a sink in our master bedroom that would barely let any water out and we tried to fix it a number of times Mike solved it. He was friendly and efficient and fair.

Of course, as luck would have it the very next day our kitchen sink clogged up after my husband put some chicken in the drain. R&R was quick to come out, and Mike solved the problem quickly and efficiently again.

First off I gotta say these guys are very friendly and respectful of their clients. The first thing they did was to lay down protection product to protect the floors.  Communication was key, they kept me informed each step of the way of them replacing the galvanized pipe with copper. Also had them replace and install 2 new toilets and kitchen faucet. They kept the area nice and tidy and were always punctual and engaging with us. Water pressure in the house was a problem they fixed and now it runs amazing. I highly recommend.
