Time to update....

Seems Monika C. of DrainHelp.com wants to claim they had phone records of the calls made to contact me, yet wouldn't post them at the time due to privacy.
Interesting statement and I call B.S.
Why? Because at the time of the review I was an Information Technology Department head, and been in the I.T. world for 25yrs. I know when my phone rings, as I nearly have to sleep with it. It's just the way it is in my household and my job. I installed large phone systems (PBX), employed by places like AT&T and Qualcomm.
So to say they have phone records, that they could easily black out most of the number called (to eliminate a privacy concern) and show me that she's not lying to counter the bad review... well, I know they didn't call, so there's no phone records to post or update here. Sad when you have to lie as she did.
Thanks Monika C. but no need to add insult to your injury.
Have a good day!

Cody and Chris are professional, friendly and great! We had an under the sink setup where our sink had cracked and needed to be replaced. They successfully replaced our sink within a very tight space. We appreciate the work they did and highly recommend them! Thanks Cody and Chris!

Alejandro responds quickly and is reasonably priced. He does quality work and pays close attention to detail. He installed laminate flooring, remodeled our guest bathroom, replaced our ceiling fan and took care of all kinds of little details that needed fixing in our house. I highly recommend him for any kind of home project.

My house seemed to have developed a water leak somewhere as I received a rather large water bill. To make matters I really could not go poking around to see what's up, because I was experiencing a sciatica episode and was in rather severe pain. Bill Howe plumbing came out (2 plumbers, one named Miguel and the other whose name I did not catch). Both were respectful and mindful of my limitation. We looked at a couple of things and they heard the sound of water flowing down the drain pipes in the crawlspace. That immediately pointed to my water softener. they assisted in getting the bypass valve shut off, it was defective and was the cause of the issue. They waived the minimum charge for their service since the call took less than 10 minutes. That is what I call customer service!! I have called on Bill Howe in the past and I've never been disappointed. I will continue to be a loyal customer.
PS: I plan on replacing my home air conditioning unit as the current one is over 22 years old and needs replacement as soon as time and budget allows. I will gladly have Bill Howe handle that replacement.
Thanks Guys !!!

After reading the 3 reviews on here, i decided to take a chance to schedule an appointment.
Customer Service was good. However, their sales tactic made need some fine tune. The plumber quoted a flat price A for the job for an anticipated 2 hr job and the type of work it was required to repair a water valve (cutting the drywall, adding a coppper line, adding a new modern valve). i agreed to price A . Afterwards, the plumber introduced me to an one-year membership program, to which i read but had not accepted/disapproved it at the time. The plumber suggested that i ponder on it, which i agreed. Afterwards, the plumber had to leave to retrieve the new valve, which would take about half an hr. The allotted time would now be 2 1/2 hr. I had a friend to stay to allow the plumber leave and come my residence as i had to run an errand. About an hr and half later, my friend notifies me that the plumber was done. Wow, i thought.
In a few minutes, the plumber phones me that because the cutting of the drywall and adding a copper line extension were not required, it took less tiime and the price A dropped down by $100. Wow, i thought, again. However, he was able to add the membership program back into the invoice, which totals close to price A (lets call this price B now). I had asked to decline it, to which the plumber replied that the invoice would then be price A instead of price B. Stunned by the sales tactic, i asked for a few minutes to ponder. I felt cornered by this tactic. If i choose price A, i would not be participating in the membership program. If i choose price B, i would be paying for the value close to price A and be given a membership. In this price B, i would not have the option to opt out of the membership program and would not receive $100 less if i did not agree to the acceptance of the membership.
Given this sales tactic, it felt unsettling. Granted that the value of price A was reduced due to the less amount of work required to complete the job, it did not feel ethical to sell a membership program which raised the invoice near price A.

After couple years I finally decided to get a water filtration system installed at my place. I looked up few companies online and contacted them to get some more information. I was pleasantly surprised by the Water Purification Systems representative. He kindly explained me the benefits of different drinking systems and suggested to go with a Reverse osmosis system. The price for the water drinking system was very reasonable and decided to proceed with an installation. Couple days later I have their technician right on time. He was very professional and did the whole installation in about 2 hours. After he kindly explained how the reverse osmosis worked and about the maintenance required. I have been enjoying the high quality water since. It does taste amazing.
Thanks again Water Purification Systems!Keep up the great job! Looking for a water drinking system this company is the one to go with!
Highly recommended!

I had Plumbing Plus repair a cold water slab leak, which required re-routing a line through the attic from a wall in our bathroom to a wall in our kitchen.
They used a leak detection service (which billed me separately) that found the exact location of the leak and pinpointed the start and end points for the re-route. So far so good.
The quality of the job was fine, and the plumber they sent (Robert) was courteous and competent, but they would only quote the job as a fixed price of $1660, which did not include repairing the drywall. Since our water was shut off and I was already into the job for $180 for the truck roll, I approved the work. In addition to signing the work order, I was also asked to sign a form requiring me to pay them in full once they started work, which appeared to waive some rights that I have as a Consumer in California. I asked the plumber to explain what rights I was waiving, and when he could not, I refused to sign the form.
I was also surprised that rather than using copper pipe (which is used throughout my house), Plumbing Plus wanted to use PEX, which is a high tech plastic pipe. Before I authorized the work, I Googled PEX and found positive reviews from plumbers and house builders. Its also less expensive than copper, and less time consuming to install, both of which worked to Plumbing Plus' advantage in their per job pricing.
Plumbing Plus was on-site at my house for less than 6 hours, which included a trip the plumber took to Escondido to pick up materials that were not in his truck and to have lunch. I was shocked that it took so little time, and the plumber took pity on me and reduced the bill to $1450. If materials were $100 (very conservative for 40 ft of PEX tubing, two PEX fittings, and a few copper pieces), that worked out to $225/hour.
If they and come with the materials they needed, it would have knocked an hour off the job, and the rate would have equated to $270/hour.
In summary, the quality of the work and service was good, but the pricing was crazy high. They pushed me to a plastic pipe system that I probably cannot maintain as a DIY project in the future, and I don't know what to think of the shenanigans asking me to waive my consumer rights. I'll try someone else next time.

San Diego Backflow was great! We had a leak with our backflow on Saturday which meant turning off the water to the pool. I sent them a request and within 10 minutes Jen had emailed me back and within an hour of us exchanging emails/texts, Adam was out fixing the problem. It probably took less than an hour and they called to let me know when it was done since I was offsite. Extremely professional and I was so grateful they came out so quickly.

All City Plumbing continues to impress and send out A Game Professionals, I'm talking about you Jesse!
Called on a Wednesday afternoon and spoke with Emma, who was amazing. After taking notes on our issue she sent Jesse over two hours later!
Jesse wasted no time, jumping on the phone with Noritz to diagnose the error code on our tankless water heater. He was able to have the company send the warrantied circuit board directly to our home. I was able to schedule an appointment the day after the part arrived!
Similar to our last experience, Jesse was very patient and answered all of our questions thoroughly. He was very thoughtful and respectful of our home and hard wood floors. Just like last time, he wore booties over his work boots, a great company policy!Thank you Jesse for your hard work and professionalism. We continue to recommend All City Plumbing: 10/10 would use again and again!

This company is incredible, they were out within two hours after 6pm. amazing!!! they turned my frown upside down because of the customer service I received by the technician.it was in peccable. I had a hot water slab leak Mark detected it and hung around to help the plumber out they were clean and tidy. now I need to find a good carpet company to replace the carpeting.

Mastercraft Plumbing was the first company to respond to my calls for estimates and was able to come by the same day to give me a preliminary quote. James, the initial estimator/salesperson got me scheduled the next day for a water pipe leak that I suspected to be in the wall somewhere based on a hissing leak sound without any visible water damage.
Jeremy Nedrow the plumber who came out to do the leak detection and repair was very friendly and professional. He was very good to prep the area to control the mess and clean up after the work was done.
This plumbing division is part of a larger home improvement/construction company. I was so impressed with both James and Jeremy that I also requested quotes for multiple repairs/projects that I need done.

Alex and his team was very diligent with their work. He also explained what the problem was, how they will fix it, and how to prevent it from happening again. This is my second time calling Alex for plumbing problems and will definitely call him again for future repair/projects.

What a great experience! Nathan Willis responded immediately and was at our house in less than 30 minutes. After showing him our concern (a blister in the ceiling paint), he tested the area with a water meter, did a pressure test and diagnosed the problem. We didn't have a leak! This was great news to my ears. He worked for a good 30-40 minutes, to make sure there was no issue, and charged us nothing. His brother even showed up, so we had two experts making sure we were taken care of. Now that's service! I will be calling Willis Brothers Plumbing from now on, and I recommend you do too.

R & R installed a whole home water filtration at out home. They explained very well since when they showed up for the estimate what they would have done. The work was executed exactly as planned, even faster actually. Cassidy has been great both in doing the work and explaining us step by step everything and providing useful tips.

Two other plumbers couldn't install a kitchen faucet that worked without leaking, but Jerry could! First he identified the water pressure problem and took care of it, then he installed a faucet that is going the distance. I highly recommend him! Honest, thorough, and worth it!

Highly recommend this company for all your plumbing needs.
James handled my plumbing issues to my satisfaction. Right from the first call, to giving me an estimate, options to fix the problem, getting parts, scheduling the repairs and getting it done quickly, James was very patient, listened to my requests and my preferences and giving me the best advice.
I am already planning to call him for a separate plumbing project.
If you have any urgent plumbing issues, I suggest you call this company and speak to James and I am sure you will get the same awesome experience that I got.

I switched over from Absolute Plumbing to Accolade Plumbing and I'm so grateful I found them.
Gabriel got me a same-day appointment, was there EARLY not just on time, fixed the issue within 40 minutes and cleaned up and was out the door. I couldn't be more appreciative of a company that knows how to excel in great customer service.
He also didn't upsell me on services that I apparently did not need, but that my previous company was pushing me to have done. He even gave me evidence as to what he did, how he did and why he wouldn't have me do the alternative suggestion from Absolute Plumbing.
Fair pricing and excellent service. Will use for all future plumbing issues.

As a first time homeowner and as a woman, I didn't know what to do when my toilet was overflowing. I asked my handyman for a trusted plumber and he recommended me to Nathan. My handyman said Nathan got excellent reviews.
I contacted Nathan right away and he showed up within 2 hours. He spent the whole afternoon trying to fix it. The problem seemed more complicated and it took longer than expected. He said he would come back with his coworkers to figure it out.
I appreciate Nathan tried his best to squeeze me in his busy schedule. Every time I texted him, he responded almost right away. He is very responsive, and I'm thankful for that.
Today he came back with his team. They could be able to locate the main problem. They were all professional and polite.
Going through plumbing issue was very stressful but Nathan and his team walked me through it and explained every single details to me. They made me feel relived that it would be ok at the end.
If you have any problems with plumbing, please please contact Nathan. You won't regret it.
Again, thank you very much Nathan. You and your coworkers are my hero today!
