They came out to fix a leak under the house in the crawl space.  They were able to fix it, and took pictures, so this was good.  I think the work quality is probably fine, however, they tried to charge the equivalent of about $400-500/hour.  They don't work by the hour but when I took their quoted price and divided by the time they said it expected to take, it came out really high.  I asked if they had an hourly rate instead and they said no.  I expected something more along the lines of $200/hour.  I know It is hard to work in a crawl space, but $400/hour seems unreasonably high.  I could tell they were trying to take advantage of me because they asked me if any other plumbing companies had been out to see it, and I made a mistake and told them that no they were the first to come out - so do not make that same mistake!  So, this seems dishonest to me and trying to take advantage.  I even had the problem mostly diagnosed and isolated for them, being an engineer myself and figuring out where the issue was.  For that reason, I do not recommend them, because if they're willing to take advantage of you on pricing, then that's not really fair.  If I had been an elderly person I would be even more worried.

I had a leak under my sink from the garbage disposal. I called Armstrong Plumbing and they were very responsive, ther technician even came out that same day! Mark was very professional and figured out that I needed a new one right away, he even had a new one on his truck so he was able to replace it and get my sink back together. I will definitely recommend Armstrong to my friends and family. Thank you!

Honestly, I wish all plumbers are like him!  

While others gave me high an estimates, Daniel gave me instructions OVER THE PHONE and helped me fix our garbage disposal, free of charge, saving us AT LEAST $100!

Let's start from the beginning.  Our garbage disposal stopped working a few days ago so i've been shopping around over the phone trying to find the cheapest/best person to fix it.  I assumed it wouldn't cost more than a few bucks, but was thoroughly shocked when quote after quote came and it was running about $100-200!  Desperate, i tried to watch some youtube videos but obviously that didn't work out, and then i called Express Plumbing.

Without any bullshit, he goes did you try to reset button?  uh..... was my reply.  He patiently walked me through the procedures and Voila, my garbage disposal came back to life!

Again, i've called at least 3 other plumbers before reaching Daniel and each had a quote higher than the other.  Daniel was the only one who didn't even try to give me a quote and instead walked me through how i can fix the issue.  Although I do not blame the others for they have to make a profit, I applaud Daniel for his honesty.  He didn't make a penny off of us this time, but we're definitely coming back for any future plumbing issues and you should too!!

The Eastlake Plumbing crew were professional, responsive, and got the job for right. All this for a very great price. They repaired a leaky bathroom sink, in a timely manner. Excellent phone/customer service. Thank you!

I have an old fold out door that has never been right since I bought this home 2 years ago. I got a little aggressive one day and broke it off the track and literally broke a wood piece. Had another handyman come by and he gave me a lecture and said he'd be back and never came back. Which is fine cause he didn't get any of my money.  Kelley was on time and diagnosed the problem right away and got the job done quickly. A 2 year problem fixed in an hour!! Highly recommend her. It's clear she knows what she's doing and is good at it!! Sometimes you don't need mansplaining and just need someone to get it done. :)

Two very polite and professional technicians arrived as scheduled. They wore shoe coverings and masks, both of which were appreciated. They completed multiple repairs over the course of a few hours. A few days later I noticed a couple issues with items that were repaired - one toilet was flushing very weakly, and one faucet handle was turning past the usual stop point. The same technicians came out and fixed everything at no charge. Really great service from Troy Plumbing.

Josue and Carlos came out to unclog our guest bathroom toilet and did so quickly and without any issue. I mentioned that the temperature in the shower was very low and they offered to check it out since they were already here. I was quoted by a different plumber as the shower regulator job costing around $2000. They took care of it for about $15 on top of the very reasonable cost for toilet. As the valve did not have to be replaced, just adjusted, their honesty and knowledge saved me money and time. Would recommend 10 out of 10!

Dave showed up when promised and fixed the main line within an hour. He also made sure all the faucets worked in the house before leaving. He was friendly and knowledgeable and we are very happy with the work and price. Highly recommend.

I vetted many companies prior but ultimately chose them because of their professionalism, experience/knowledge and quality workmanship. I am continually impressed by the work they do and my clients agree as well. You ever have that Tuesday after a holiday weekend where you feel like the universe is going to absolutely punish you in exchange for a few relaxing days off? Like that one post Memorial Day week a long time ago where my body decided that kidney stones were a good idea. What is it with this weekend attacking my plumbing?

I'm getting ahead of myself.

Plumbing. My wife got up early - as nurses tend to do - to begin her day. When she started the water in our bathroom ... it sounded a bit like an incredibly angry psychopath was trying to violently shake apart our plumbing. While I found this sound to be upsetting, our dog was outright enraged. He let me know that this was to stop immediately and that he expected me to call in a plumber as soon 8AM rolled around (did I mention this was all going down at 5:20 AM?).

So yeah, pluming once again under attack after a long holiday weekend.

Okay, I might be blaming this on the universe, but I will grant the universe this: the solution was also waiting for me on the doorstop this morning. Our community newsletter was there, and within it, the number to Black Mountain Plumbing.

I don't really like making phone calls, but my dog (the one insisting this get fixed IMMEDIATELY) also will not make these calls. So I relented and got through right away. Daniel was available and in the area, and get this ... would be over ASAP.

A few tests later, the problem was identified. By 10:30 AM, the violent shaking pipes had been calmed by a new pressure regulator (I wish they made this for humans, BTW). Daniel also fixed an unrelated issue with the lack of hot water in my shower.

Everyone I worked with was very helpful and honest. My dog is no longer giving me dirty looks. And I still have the majority of this post-holiday Tuesday to enjoy.

I'm not a fan of days beginning like this one did, but I am a huge fan companies like this who show up and do an amazing job and set things right.

I'm so glad that I called this company 3 days ago, when i was looking for an honest, reliable, professional  and knowledgeable people who would help me with my water leakage problem, as detected by Otay Water District in their last meter reading and I was told tht my bill is 5 X higher than  usual. I was very concerned.
Joe answered my call and sent Chris & Jay to diagnose the problem. Chris thoroughly explained what was causing the leak. I asked them to shut  the water off, to prevent more leaking  until they came back the next day, with Angel and they skillfully did their job. They dug part of the front yard to gain access to the area that they needed to replace. And today, they came to finalize their job. They re-planted my roses and the put back the borders.The owner, Matt , came to check what was done  and re-checked the 3 toilets and realized that they were leaking, also the faucet in the front and in the backyard and so they replaced the old and faulty parts. And Matt was so kind and generous, in not charging me extra !
I felt so relieved, after. I can't thank them enough for a job well-done !!!

These guys are awesome!! Had a hot water leak in the slab. Called a handful of companies, most were not available on the weekends. Chris replied within minutes, came after a job at 6:30 at night on a Saturday and was luckily available the next morning to make repairs. Also, quoted a few hundred less than another company. Friendly guys, take pride in their work and got the job done in a reasonable amount of time. Thanks so much!!!

These guys are great at what they do.  We had a plumbing leak somewhere under the house.  Water was coming up from the ground under the bathtub area.  I hired them to come out and fix the leak before the water damaged more of the home.  

When I set the appointment, they told me who was going to arrive and sent me a picture of the plumber!  Robert is awesome.  He showed up on time, in a clean uniform and in a clean and professional vehicle with all the tools needed to do the job.  He performed an electronic leak detection and pinpointed exactly where the leak was located in the concrete foundation, then gave me options for how to repair the problem.  His estimate was in writing and they were very fair.  The repair was completed when they promised and the problem is solved.

I'm recommending them to everyone I know.
