Guiseppe is a one man electrician who performs great work. I called him out to install a vehicle charger in my garage and he arrived on time, and was friendly and professional. He did an excellent job identifying potential issues and keeping me informed through the installation process. He even showed up when the inspectors came for the permit review and the job passed with flying colors.

I've dealt with a lot of electricians over the years.  I think Fredy is the best.  He responded to my original message very quickly late Monday night, and had the problem fixed on Wednesday.  His prices were extremely reasonable and he did a great job fixing the problem.  I plan to call him out for future work and will recommend him to any family, friends or neighbors who need help.

Carlos was awesome! I gave him a list of things that needed to be done including electrical, plumbing, drywall he gave me a fair price and did a fabulous job. He is professional, caring and an overall nice guy. He showed up on time, always wore a mask, cleaned up nicely after every job and put up with my crazy dogs! He is my new handyman!

I have never written a negative review on Yelp, but think this one is appropriate.  I contacted Al because of his Yelp rating, and he repaired a sink drain for my tenant in a condo in WLA.

My criticism is that although I paid him, and he was working for me, he criticized the existing plumbing installation to the tenant, which was relatively new.  He could have told me that directly and privately, as I was his customer, but chose to shoot his mouth off.  Now I know that every handyman criticizes the jobs they see.  It is human nature, and builds up their importance, but it was very bad form and I won't use him again.

The electrician did a great job came out assessed the problem and it actually cost me less than the quoted price over the phone.

Our old kitchen light fixture, fluorescent, wouldn't turn on.  We discovered this on a Saturday morning, and I was having guests to dinner on Monday evening at 5 pm.  After planning to buy new fluorescent bulbs, we realized the problem might be in the ballast, and we needed an electrician.  We decided not to call until Monday morning.  We put a request out on Yelp to five electricians.  ECS Electric replied within minutes and was able to arrive an hour later.  The electrician, Eduardo Caseras, found that yes, the ballast needed to be replaced as well as the four tubes. He drove two miles to buy them but found that there was still a loose connection somewhere in the fixture.  After testing each wire, he found and fixed it. Perfect bright light in time for my 5 pm guests!  It took 2 1/2 hrs. and he only charged us $225 for both the labor and the light bulbs.  Very competent electrician as well as friendly and polite, very experienced in lighting fixtures.  We will definitely call ECS Electric again--after 27 years with Powell Electric, which converted to computerized, non-itemized estimates and contracts this past spring--a big pain to deal with.

Fantastic experience with Ace Electrical Services. Mike arrived to help diagnose and correct a couple of electrical issues I was experiencing regarding a pendant lamp and some GFCI outlets. He quickly determined the issues and corrected them in relatively little time.  Not only did Mike do great work, is very professional, arrived on time, was very courteous about wearing protective slips over his shoes and he is also very friendly and personable.  Their services are offered at a very fair and reasonable price. I was extremely pleased with the overall experience. I highly recommend them.

This review is 6 months late, but it's taken me some time to ascertain what happened.  Like many others, I chose this company based on the rave reviews and proximity to my home.  First off, everyone raves about Jody, the owner.  I did get contacted by him initially by email, who then told me he could send his son to do the job since I requested weekends and that's when his son likes to work, but then on the day of the job two other people showed up.  They felt like independent contractors using Jody's business name but really working for themselves.  They were making up prices on the fly even after I'd been quoted.  

So the job proceeds and I get 2 ceiling fans installed and 1 bathroom exhaust fan, things are fine, and I pay what feels like a WAY overblown price.  I had been warned ahead of time that they don't patch the holes they make in the drywall and I assumed that was pretty standard.  There was more than one, I'm not gonna be patching...etc etc etc..for this kind of money comment made during the job.  Anyway, it's been months now and I still haven't found a good drywall person to do the repairs in the walls and several friends and family have been over to visit.  Without fail, every single one of them is stunned at the number and size of gaping holes in my ceilings and walls in various rooms.  What I hear the most is, I've had many ceiling fans installed over the years and they NEVER leave open holes  after which I'm starting to feel ripped off.  Yes, I was told ahead of time but really, the more I hear and discuss, the more I see that 1) there's way too many holes and 2) they should have at least offered to do the filling, even if it meant more money.  

It's not easy for someone employed full time and single to arrange times for contractors to come to a locked condo, so having an all in one source would've really been great.

At the end, the two guys told me that if I had them back to do more work, (I'd mentioned other things I'd like done), that they'd give me a better price next time.  WTF?  Does that mean my initial service of over $800 was an initiation that I had to pass to determine if I was worthy of the secret better pricing?  I dunno.  The whole thing left me with a bad impression, even though it was clear that these people know their craft.  I probably wouldn't use again.

I contacted CSR Plumbing after receiving an outrageous quote from another plumbing company. I called CSR and left a message and, true to their yelp page, was promptly contacted by Huyen, one of the owners. I explained to him that I had a slow kitchen drain that eventually backed up when I did laundry. Huyen explained how they would do the repair and gave me a quote. I made an appt, still leary from the other plumbing company that I had quote the job.

Ray, the technician arrived and was courteous and very knowlegable. He worked efficiently and cleared the drain in under an hour, and for a fraction of the quote from the other company. Ray even installed a cleanout under the kitchen sink gratis!!

CSR worked within budget, promptly and efficiently! I appreciate their integrity. I will use them for future plumbing needs.

We have an older house so we have now met 4 of their plumbers. All four of them were not only great at their jobs but they were all really awesome guys! They were friendly and knowledgeable. I am always afraid to call plumbers but this company even did a return visit and didn't charge us a dime. Its nice to be able to call them when I need them and not spend thousands everytime!

I have been using Collins Pacific Plumbing for the last 10 years. The work is done professional  they always arrive on time or early and the cost is always fare. I have nothing but good things to say about this company. I have had a few emergency situations and they have been there every time and the problem has been taken care of perfectly.
