My husband and I have installed ceiling fans before. But, never in a 1950s home with 1950s wiring, and outdated boxes with wires upon wires going in and out of it. Needless to say, our weekend DIY installation was becoming more and more complicated as time went on. We decided to bite the bullet and call an electrician. I called about 3 other electricians all on Yelp, and everyone was busy until April or May. Finally rang Dan, and like the others he was also busy, but no more than 5 minutes after hanging up - Dan called me back and arranged to fit us in between jobs over that weekend. Dan came by, as promised, and installed a new box for us in the attic (goodbye 10,000 wires), lowered the other existing box for the second fan, and installed both fans for us in about 2 hours.  Granted, we never expected to pay so much (in the end) to install 2 ceiling fans, but when you're dealing with old wiring in an old attic with flammable material all around it, it's worth the cost for peace of mind. Dan did a fantastic job, was professional in every way, and we are so thankful he was able to fit us in his schedule. I would highly recommend Dan and Redline Electric for any job, small or large.

I recently was referred to ProPower Electric and since then I have made this company my go to for all my electrical issues.  The service provided to the several residential buildings they have done for me  usually are
completed that same day or the latest the next day. I often use different vendors and strongly believe that the first impression begins on arrival. ProPower showed me their professionalism when arriving in their work trucks, ProPower uniforms, and with the safety precautions they took during these times.  They definitely set the bar high with their work and  professionalism. The owner is extremely knowledgeable and helpful and honest regarding work that is needed (no haggling or up selling anything). I highly recommended using this company. They are fast, efficient and definitely reasonably priced.  Keep up the good work!

Couldn't love this company any more than I already do. I've used Apple Plus Electric in my home and in my business (restaurant) and they deliver beyond expectations every time.  Clean, professional, and ALWAYS ON TIME!  Great communication, too.

Last time I called them out, I asked them to install some new outlets in my restaurant.  After they left, I realized that I had asked them to put the new outlets in a really dumb spot (too close to our food warmers).  It was totally 100% my fault, but they came back out no questions asked and fixed it for me!

Really unfortunate. Did not show or call for appointment. Wasted my time. I made a special trip to my new house for this appointment because I'm not living there yet, I only came to my new house for this appointment this morning.

We had an appointment at 9:15 this morning (not a window of time, but 9:15). We scheduled it via Yelp messenger. At around 9:25 having not had anyone come or received a call, I sent a message on Yelp indicating that I needed to know if he was coming because I had to leave shortly for another appointment. I waited till 9:35 for a response and then called. The person who answered said they could be there in about 20 minutes and asked if it was okay. I told them it wasn't. Being 40 min late and no attempt to contact me is not good business. I respected their time enough to drive to the new house to meet at the agreed upon time rather than cancelling short notice when I realized it would be inconvenient for me and the business didn't respect my time enough to honor the appointment time or contact me.

To express my dissatisfaction with not being contacted, I asked if they had tried to contact me to tell me they would miss the appointment time. The person on the phone said someone tried to call but there was no answer. It was not believable to me and I told him I had no missed calls or new messages on Yelp. He asked if I wanted to reschedule and I told him that I would find someone else to do the work. I'm so busy right now and it's hard to woke with someone who isn't respectful of my time.

Called 3 electricians on a Saturday to get an estimate. Johnny was the only one who answered the phone. The others never even called back. He came out to the house in 10 minutes like he said he would fixed the circuit breaker as discussed. He was prompt & professional. His prices were very reasonable & he didn't try to up sell me on other repairs. Would definitely recommend him for your electrical needs.

I had Armor Electric come out to install a level 2 EV charger in my garage. From the initial quote and communication via yelp and text messages were smooth and professional. They were quick to respond to questions and flexible in my requests throughout the appointment and installation process. They were even generous enough to install and hang my level 2 charger. Installation was clean and overall satisfied with the work done!

I called Eric about a noise we were hearing coming from behind the kitchen outlet switches. He scheduled an appointment with me and even called me on his way to my house.  He is extremely professional and was able to figure out and fix the issue.

He charged a very reasonable amount for the work he completed. I will be calling him again in the near future for additional electrical work that I want done.

Thank you to technician Artin for coming within an hour and not even charging me since it was just the circuit breaker that needs to be reset. They are very professional and fast.

Our house had an entire wall knocked down between the kitchen and living room. Needed multiple outlets and switches to be rewired and new wiring for lighting and island hood mounted through the ceiling. Leo is the model of patience and professionalism. Not only was the work correctly and meticulously done, but he also explained every aspect of what he was doing and why. Even fixed pre-existing wiring that could have posed a threat that was incorrectly done from a previous company. Entered the crawl space and attic multiple times to make sure everything was done right and helped make sure everything was flawless. Only electrician I would ever work with, period.

AWESOME!!!  These guys are great!  I hired the Handyman La Crescenta (sorry forgot his name) to do several jobs in my house including hanging of 2 ceiling fans, repair of large cabinet door, and some minor electrical work.  He came with his father and got the job done very very well.  They took every effort to help me to save as much money as possible without taking any kinds of shortcuts.  I would definitely recommend these guys to just about everyone I know.  BTW he has lots of experience in general construction and can probably handle just about anything.

If i could give 10 stars, i would. Arin is very honest, responsive, and very good at what he does. He fixed an issue with my heating/cooling system and he doesn't even specialize in HVAC's! now have him on speed dial for any electrical requests i have in the future.

Ibrahim and his assistant did an excellent job completing the electrical work when my son bought an old house in Hollywood. He was honest about what needed to be done-- said some things that  other bidders had insisted on were okay as is. This was especially appreciated when there was so much overall to do in the house. . His price was good, and he did the work in one day. They were clean as they worked, and very nice. The experience of working with them was great!

We had a problem with our GFI switch constantly shorting out and setting off the breaker. I even had it replaced before and it still did the same thing. So I searched Yelp for another electrician and found J&M Electrical. And I'm glad I did! When I called the receptionist, she was very polite, professional and making an appointment to fit my schedule was a breeze. The Electrician showed up on time and was very professional, personable and polite. I told him what the problem was and he diagnosed the issue in no time. He did not try to up sell or replace unnecessary parts for no reason. He finished the job quickly and cleaned up any mess or dust. Everything has been working perfectly since! I'd highly recommend J&M Electrical to my friends and family, and I will definitely contact them for any electrical needs in the future!

context - bought a house built in the 30s. renovated the second floor.

problem - ancient wiring that needed to be removed and completely rewired. we did the removal, and mike did the rewire.

experience - only good things to say about mike. he's professional, honest, easy to work with, and does a solid, clean job. his expertise was clearly evident. mike helped us wire a new subpanel, multiple outlets per bedroom/bathroom/hall, light switches, and recessed lights in every room. we'll be hitting him up again when we renovate the first floor.

I literally called the same day to replace my 2 ceiling fans and 1 mysterious wall lamp. They were eager to help. To my surprise 2 guys showed up to attack the issue. They did it all in 1 hour. Let's be honest, as a woman I'm always weary of auto techs and any service personnel. You always feel they are gonna use bug terminology, take their time, and over - charge you. The two guys were very sweet, super knowledgeable,  and beyond efficient. They charge by the hour, and they are very mindful of that.  They were hustling the whole time. I tried other electricians that's local, and on yelp. No other companies compare. You would think I got paid to say this. NOPE, just a new loyal satisfied customer. I think they probably thought I might be a bit nutty to be so excited. I found my electrician from now on. Did I mention their hourly fee is very very reasonable? Yup, they are! Gotta check them out if you need an electrician. Thanks guys for a beautiful job!

I wanted to write a quick review about my experience with Tom. We had a problem with an outlet by our new fountain in the back yard.  We would plug it in and the fuse would blow. We thought for sure it was an issue with the electrical.  We called 4 places to get some estimates. Of the 4 we reached out to, only Tom took the time over the phone to walk us through the problem. Instead of coming out and charging us, he challenged us to do some homework before calling back. He spent 15 minutes on the phone walking us through different scenarios for the outlet. After testing his different theories, it became apparent that the pump in the fountain was the problem and not the outlet at all.  Tom told me he would much rather see us save 100 bucks and try to diagnose it ourselves rather than have him come out and have to charge us for his time.  It felt like we were back in the 1960's or something because he couldn't have been more kind and honest. As he said, if I help you now over the phone, you'll be more likely to call me when you really have an electrical problem. He's so right. I'm thankful we were able to work it out but I'm definitely calling Tom the next time we have a true electrical issue. His help and time on the phone saved us some money and won him over some new customers when the time comes. Thanks Tom!

Call Joel. He is an outstanding electrician. He came to our home for a problem we had during the height of the corona virus in the pouring rain when few electricians were open. He was so kind. Recently he helped us again with outlets, smoke detectors, and a fan. He is very honest, good at problem solving, and does excellent work. We really appreciate all he did for us.

The lights were flickering and eventually went out at the house. I contacted Harout and he offered to come the same evening. We then confirmed for the next day. He took the time to show me what the issue was and explained every step of the way. He changed the breaker in 5 minutes and now everything is working GREAT - thanks Harout !!!
