We did a full on reno for our newly bought home and worked with multiple people. Out of everyone we worked with, Angel was by far the most professional, personable, transparent, detail-oriented and reliable person that we hired. We didn't have a single worry about all our electrical work (panel upgrades, upgrading outlets, recessed lighting, installing electrical boxes, installing chandeliers) and truly had peace of mind working with him and his guys. Even the city inspector complimented him on his 'beautiful work'.

Good people are hard to come by these days. We'll be using Angel for every electrical need that we have in the future and recommend him to all our family and close friends. ProPower Electric is a gem!

This is one of those posts that has been a long time coming.  I'm going to start with the fact that Ara is my electrician hero. I had a panel upgrade (a 100 amp zinsco fire hazard to 200 amp) that took forever to get approval through the city to replace. Ara was there every step of the way providing the city with everything they requested showing up every time they asked him to, even if he was busy and had to drive way out of his way to meet an inspector or the power company. Through it all he and his guys were cheerful, funny, thorough, and super clean and respectful to my house.

He provided an extremely good quote and I challenge any one to find a better quote with as good of reviews. I liked him and his guys so much I have had them do several other electrical related things and each time it was a pleasure to work with him and his men.

Do yourself a favor and use this guy he stands by his work, is super fast (even with the city slowing him down), clean, and best of all just a really nice guy.  You won't be disappointed :)

Jose came out to help me install an EV charger (Tesla wall connector). He was responsive to texts and reliable and his pricing was very reasonable! I got a few quotes and his was the best.

Quality work, looks great!

Definitely will be hiring him again for more projects in the future!

Update: Jose came by to help us out more with putting up a security cam with flood lights and a new thermostat. Of course, he did an awesome job. He's definitely my go to electrician in the area. Looking forward to working with him more.

It took awhile to get an appointment but I can see why they're so busy and it was definitely worth the wait. They tied 6 brand new recessed can lights into an existing can light in our living room and replaced half a dozen more. They also replaced a broken outdoor outlet with a new one and installed a ceiling fan in the master bedroom. They came with a friendly crew and they got all the work done in just a couple hours. They were neat and cleaned everything up before they left. They did an excellent job at a very fair price and I would highly recommend them!

Eric has done an excellent job of installing 5 ceiling lights at my home. Four of the lights that he replaced were old style recessed box lights of circa 1980, which required removal of boxes and repair of the ceiling dry wall before installation of new lights. One light was a new light. All done to my complete satisfaction. Thank you.

My first Yelp! review is for a great company that deserves every word of the praise I'm about to give it. Years ago, my family purchased a house in Arcadia with two large lantern posts in the backyard. We were told by the neighbors that the lights were installed in 1953 by the former owner of the house, an Edison electrician. After lighting up our backyard for decades, both of the lamps recently stopped working.

In the past week, we've had the lantern posts and their wiring examined by three electricians, all of whom speculated with inconfidence and quoted us outrageous estimates just for troubleshooting. One electrician gave us several preposterous reasons as to why we absolutely must upgrade our entire electrical system--only to discover that his voltage tester was actually out of battery--and one even told us he'd need to unearth our entire underground system of electrical wires to even diagnose the problem and give us a reasonable quote!

Fed up with the incompetence of phone book electricians (*still* my mom's go-to resource for services), I turned to a more reliable source for referrals--Yelp! United Plumbing Heating Air & Electric came up my first local search and, after reading the consistently positive reviews, I decided to give this place a call and am so glad I did!

Cory arrived on time, about an hour after I made the call. He introduced himself to my mom and patiently listened as she tried to explain our problem with her adorable Chinglish. When she was done, he explained that he would examine the electrical circuits and panels before giving us a quote. After his inspection, he quoted us a most reasonable price--$180 for the job, and *only* if he managed to get our lights shining again. We were taken aback by the quote since it was much lower than what the other electricians charged, but we didn't expect him to so easily detect and resolve the problem like he did! Within an hour, our lantern posts were beaming again! My mom was so pleased that she even asked Cory to troubleshoot our broken submerged pool lights and outdoor outlets, and soon, those, too, were operating again. He only charged us only an additional $80, inclusive of replacement parts!

All in all, today was a great day for me and my mom. Thanks to Cory, our new tenants will be able to enjoy the beauty of our garden and pool at dusk, illumined by the soft glow of our lantern posts. My family is definitely lucky to have found an honest and reliable service we can trust. Do yourself a favor and call them now! No upselling, No outrageous quotes. No guesswork. Our house had an entire wall knocked down between the kitchen and living room. Needed multiple outlets and switches to be rewired and new wiring for lighting and island hood mounted through the ceiling. Leo is the model of patience and professionalism. Not only was the work correctly and meticulously done, but he also explained every aspect of what he was doing and why. Even fixed pre-existing wiring that could have posed a threat that was incorrectly done from a previous company. Entered the crawl space and attic multiple times to make sure everything was done right and helped make sure everything was flawless. Only electrician I would ever work with, period.

Movses is fantastic.  We purchased a Dishwasher for a kitchen that has never had one!  No need to fear...Movses was able to get the job done and within budget.

We would highly recommend him and will be using him for jobs in the future.

Arin was 100000% the most honest and humble electrician I've ever serviced with. I had an issue where half my house wasn't getting power, but none of the switches was tripped. Odd.....

Prior to servicing my issue with Arin, I was in contact with 2 other Electric Service Companies that after one quick look at my breaker, told me that I would need to replace the entire panel because I had 3 dead switches. They were also very aggressive with getting me to sign their insanely high quotes. After a few checks on the panel, Arin confirmed that those 3 aforementioned switches were in fact FINE! Without going into too much detail, he was able to locate, diagnose, replace the one blown outlet that blocked power to the half of the house and BOOM...everything restored. (It was an empty fabreeze plug-in that I had plugged into the guest room for years without realizing. Sigh...be careful with those!)

Thank you for saving me from thousands of dollars on potentially replacing something that I didn't need to. Definitely saving your number for future projects and recommending to all of my friends and family in the LA area.

(Also apologies for my derpy German Shepherd that kept sneaking up and scaring you. Definitely not a good combo when handling eletrical work! haha!)

Very professional service and timely! Came within just a few hours of calling to install two outdoor lanterns and hanging tree lights. Prompt service, knowledgable about residential electric, and extremely friendly. I would highly recommend them!

J and M electrical made the process so easy , I didn't even have to see the person fixing my request .. I would highly recommend this company .. and the most important thing their prices is fair ..

Mike came the same day and did a solid job. He charges $150 as a base rate and then any materials and or labor costs on top of that.

For me he installed 2 led garage lights and a WeMo home automation light switch. The light switch required some custom parts and Mike happily ran to the local electric store  to resolve the issue which was great.

Easy to work with and fun to talk to with a great sense of humor. I would hire him again. Thanks Mike!

Very quick to respond and get a technician out.  They have a flat fee for repairs.   It ended up being a very quick repair which I could have probably done myself, but I figured it's better to be safe when electricity is involved.    He ended up inspecting a few of the other outlets in the house to make sure they didn't have the same issue.   Great service!

I wanted to write a quick review about my experience with Tom. We had a problem with an outlet by our new fountain in the back yard.  We would plug it in and the fuse would blow. We thought for sure it was an issue with the electrical.  We called 4 places to get some estimates. Of the 4 we reached out to, only Tom took the time over the phone to walk us through the problem. Instead of coming out and charging us, he challenged us to do some homework before calling back. He spent 15 minutes on the phone walking us through different scenarios for the outlet. After testing his different theories, it became apparent that the pump in the fountain was the problem and not the outlet at all.  Tom told me he would much rather see us save 100 bucks and try to diagnose it ourselves rather than have him come out and have to charge us for his time.  It felt like we were back in the 1960's or something because he couldn't have been more kind and honest. As he said, if I help you now over the phone, you'll be more likely to call me when you really have an electrical problem. He's so right. I'm thankful we were able to work it out but I'm definitely calling Tom the next time we have a true electrical issue. His help and time on the phone saved us some money and won him over some new customers when the time comes. Thanks Tom!

Great communications and get job done on time. Joel had to come back twice due to the wrong information I gave, but he made two trips within hours and kept the same quote without extra charges.
