After getting no shows from other electricians, I contacted Castillo's electric and got an appointment. The job was done super fast and the electrician was really friendly and patient. Nema 14-50 installation.

TLDR:  A+ work, A+ professionalism

Messaged Dan on Yelp for a quote, took him less than a half hour to get back to me.  Not only did he provide a very competitive price compared to other electricians -- he was very concise and straightforward in his communication.

I contracted Dan to upgrade all the wiring in my home since it was outdated (house built in the 50's), minus the kitchen.  His work was very calculated, quick, and clean.  In addition to upgrading the wiring to all the outlets in my home, he also installed 6 recessed lights and a ceiling fan in my living room.  The work was completed in less than two days -- this is with my 3 yr old running around the place, occasionally getting in the way.  But guess what?  Dan never complained and was actually very friendly to my son.

His work quality and professionalism really is unmatched, I'd have no problem recommending him to anyone who needs electrical work done in their home.  I'll definitely be contacting him again for my future electrical needs.

Update: It's been a year since we used ProPower and we have had no issues! We reached out again because we wanted to add some outdoor outlets before the holidays, and Angel was super quick to respond and got his team to our house for the job. So thankful to have a reliable and responsive electrician!

Would like to thank Angel and his team for helping us to update our electrical wiring and panel in our new house. When we purchased the house, it had the original panel, horrible wiring and no electricity in the garage. Angel and his crew updated the panels, routed wiring to the garage and installed a subpanel, rewired our house and installed recessed lighting. Angel was very professional and affordable. Johnny Electric deserves the highest praise possible.  Over the years, we have had ongoing problems with our Cox cable wiring--a wire in the wall actually broke apart when a Cox technician was yet again trouble-shooting.  Several electricians we called weren't knowledgeable enough or weren't interested in even coming out as the wiring went through an attic.  Johnny came to our house for an estimate--arriving on time on the pre-arranged date.  He relieved all our anxiety over the complexity of the problem and assured us it could be  resolved.  He also made a suggestion on how to improve our signal by installing an electrical outlet in the attic and relocating the booster.  Johnny and Jessie showed up to do the work on time.  They were very professional and did excellent work.  Another one of Johnny's workers, Don, also showed up at the end.  All three of them were courteous and conscious of avoiding doing damage or spreading dirt (they were in a dirty attic and also had to bring tall ladders upstairs and around corners).  After they completed laying new wire--without cutting open walls as others suggested--there was still a problem with our signal.  Johnny called Cox and spent time (which he didn't charge for ) trying to resolve the issue and ultimately arranged for Cox to come out immediately.  Johnny agreed to hold off depositing our check to see the outcome with Cox.  The Cox technician --as Johnny assured us they would-- resolved the remaining issues.  The worker from Cox indicated that Johnny's work was well done and professional. His work was not the cause of the signal problem.   I would highly recommend Johnny Electric.  Johnny and his workers are professional, knowledgeable and  honest. The rates are very reasonable. It should be noted that per prior agreement, Cox was reimbursing us for the costs of laying new wire behind the walls. Johnny knew about this but didn't take advantage by charging a higher rate. Please note this is only the second review I have ever posted--the other being on Trip Advisor for a resort in Thailand that went beyond all expectations in aiding us in an emergency.

Second time we have used them and they did a great job both times. Very professional, prompt and knowledgeable. I thought the prices were very reasonable and would definitely recommend them for any work you need done.

I had a great experience with United Plumbing. My neighbor recommended them to me when I had  a plumbing emergency last Friday.

Timing: The technician showed up at the scheduled time and had the repair done within an hour.

Service: He replaced the broken parts with some good quality brand new ones and from what I can see he did a pretty neat tidy job on the pipes.

Customer service:  I experienced absolutely great customer service from their respond to my call to the technician's nice and friendly attitude.

I highly recommend this company specially when you come across an emergency that need to be done in a reasonable price.

Our house had an entire wall knocked down between the kitchen and living room. Needed multiple outlets and switches to be rewired and new wiring for lighting and island hood mounted through the ceiling. Leo is the model of patience and professionalism. Not only was the work correctly and meticulously done, but he also explained every aspect of what he was doing and why. Even fixed pre-existing wiring that could have posed a threat that was incorrectly done from a previous company. Entered the crawl space and attic multiple times to make sure everything was done right and helped make sure everything was flawless. Only electrician I would ever work with, period.

Movses is great. He manages and works on all my apartment complexes. Whether its a small job or a big project he is very reliable. He shows up on time, gives me an estimate up front, fixes on time. I never have to follow up to make sure its done. He coordinates all the schedules with my tenants so i don't have to do all the go between. His fees are always reasonable and i never feel being overcharged.

Arin was 100000% the most honest and humble electrician I've ever serviced with. I had an issue where half my house wasn't getting power, but none of the switches was tripped. Odd.....

Prior to servicing my issue with Arin, I was in contact with 2 other Electric Service Companies that after one quick look at my breaker, told me that I would need to replace the entire panel because I had 3 dead switches. They were also very aggressive with getting me to sign their insanely high quotes. After a few checks on the panel, Arin confirmed that those 3 aforementioned switches were in fact FINE! Without going into too much detail, he was able to locate, diagnose, replace the one blown outlet that blocked power to the half of the house and BOOM...everything restored. (It was an empty fabreeze plug-in that I had plugged into the guest room for years without realizing. Sigh...be careful with those!)

Thank you for saving me from thousands of dollars on potentially replacing something that I didn't need to. Definitely saving your number for future projects and recommending to all of my friends and family in the LA area.

Highly recommended! Ibrahim is a respectful, humble man who instills a sense of immediate confidence as  he confidently puts his knowledge and experience to work on your problem. After listening to the symptoms and asking a few pinpointed questions, he immediately developed a hypothesis about what was going on, and this turned out to be correct. This was a problem that completely baffled another electrician. He and his team work quickly and methodically to diagnose and treat the problem. In addition to fixing what was a very troubling problem, he recommended some lighting changes to increase the amount of light in a room with less energy expenditure. I am sold - I know who to go to for electrical problems in my home, and will recommend him to my neighbors with no hesitation.

We had an issue with our GSCI outlet. Joe was able to come out the next day. He was on time, courteous and respectful. It was a simple fix and he fixed it within 5 minutes. He even tested all my outlets in the kitchen. I was expecting a service call fee but he waived the fee saying he is not going to charge a fee for a 5 minute simple fix. I also inquired him about the EV car charger and he gave me options on where and what to install. His quotes on EV car charger appears to be reasonable as well. I highly recommend J&M electrical for all your electrical needs.

context - bought a house built in the 30s. renovated the second floor.

problem - ancient wiring that needed to be removed and completely rewired. we did the removal, and mike did the rewire.

experience - only good things to say about mike. he's professional, honest, easy to work with, and does a solid, clean job. his expertise was clearly evident. mike helped us wire a new subpanel, multiple outlets per bedroom/bathroom/hall, light switches, and recessed lights in every room. we'll be hitting him up again when we renovate the first floor.

Best of the best. Paul came out and installed some lighting and smart switches and the work is top notch. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and I couldn't be happier with the new lighting. I will be calling service calls for any work I need done in the future.
