I needed two gfci outlets and I called Rigo. He was very clear with the price from the beginning, i got a quote over the phone and that's exactly what he charged me. He would reply to my text messages pretty fast and he did the job quickly. Overall i'm very happy with the service. The price was very reasonable compared to other quotes i got.

I can't say enough good things about Johnny Electric. This man has been an electrical contractor for decades and is one of those rare individuals that has an extremely solid technical foundation to his profession, and is entirely ethical and fair in his pricing, and has a team that is both skilled and works quickly.
His team has been in my home on three occasions. In fact, where he really shined was when he was willing to ask a crew to come in on their day off (one of whom was his son) to take advantage of the presence of some scaffolding in my home to hang a chandelier. Had he not been willing to make the attempt to have a crew come in, the scaffolding would have been removed and I would have incurred a significantly higher cost to complete the job. Notwithstanding the fact that I paid a premium rate to have a crew come in on their day off, they completed an extremely technically challenging job perfectly.

I found out that most electricians are not willing to have a crew go up on scaffolding, but these folks are professional, experienced, were able to work safely, and complete the job flawlessly. Professionals like these men are rare indeed in my experience.

First off Thank You Yelp for facilitating a request for quote.  That functionality is great and generates quick responses.   About Randy and Armor Electric.  Straight up a pleasure to work Randy - no up selling and genuinely wanted to help.   I needed a repair on my old house built in 1930 so providing a quote unseen is a challenge,  but Randy reassured that he felt comfortable that it could be done within my budget.   Armor's technician arrived on time as scheduled. Explained the problem in straight forward terms, and then made quick work.  #CleanFastProfessional, what else can you ask for.

JaCo is my new go to for electrical work. I am probably above average handy as I can do simple electrical and DIY a lot of other home improvements, so I tend to hold contractors to a higher expectation. JaCo had no problems meeting these expectations.

Contracted them for a few jobs: install an external outlet, add a switch and connect with an existing for a three way pole setup, ground some un-grounded outlets. These jobs required some troubleshooting with existing poor wiring, dry wall work, stucco work, and pulling wire runs through studs. Everything turned out great. Workmanship was solid, and tarps were used for easy clean up. Estimates were easy and they were more than happy to answer my questions.

The only warnings I'll give are they are a little relaxed with formalities as far as written estimates. However, I'm sure they would be more than willing to provide something if you requested. I've never had an issue with payment settlement, so it didn't bother me. Additionally, they can get pretty busy (probably an indicator of their stellar work), so you will need to see when their next availability is. However, again, with the work they have provided so far, I'm more than happy to wait for their next opening now.

Estimates: Easy going, answered questions, accurate hours needed, reasonable costs to me  
Appointments: On time, called day of to confirm
Work: Solid quality and workmanship, left job area clean, follows code

My husband called this morning to old republic telling them about some electrical issues. Eric D. Was dispatched from United. He came out the same day to check my breakers and outlets. Turns out that in my daughters room one of the outlets burned which in turn affected other outlets and lights in the house. He took his time looking and making sure nothing else was wrong and that when he was about to leave every outlet was working.he even made some recommendations for us to fix in the future. I would use United again. They came the same day and were quick and fast! Thanks Eric D for finding the problem.

Our house had an entire wall knocked down between the kitchen and living room. Needed multiple outlets and switches to be rewired and new wiring for lighting and island hood mounted through the ceiling. Leo is the model of patience and professionalism. Not only was the work correctly and meticulously done, but he also explained every aspect of what he was doing and why. Even fixed pre-existing wiring that could have posed a threat that was incorrectly done from a previous company. Entered the crawl space and attic multiple times to make sure everything was done right and helped make sure everything was flawless. Only electrician I would ever work with, period.

Will definitely use Moses' services again. A kind and patient man, and very professional. Price is very reasonable. I live in Sylmar and tried calling for quotes around the area. Had to call a guy all the way from LA Crescenta to replace our capodimonte chandelier and he answered the call.

Arin was 100000% the most honest and humble electrician I've ever serviced with. I had an issue where half my house wasn't getting power, but none of the switches was tripped. Odd.....

Prior to servicing my issue with Arin, I was in contact with 2 other Electric Service Companies that after one quick look at my breaker, told me that I would need to replace the entire panel because I had 3 dead switches. They were also very aggressive with getting me to sign their insanely high quotes. After a few checks on the panel, Arin confirmed that those 3 aforementioned switches were in fact FINE! Without going into too much detail, he was able to locate, diagnose, replace the one blown outlet that blocked power to the half of the house and BOOM...everything restored. (It was an empty fabreeze plug-in that I had plugged into the guest room for years without realizing. Sigh...be careful with those!)

Thank you for saving me from thousands of dollars on potentially replacing something that I didn't need to. Definitely saving your number for future projects and recommending to all of my friends and family in the LA area.

(Also apologies for my derpy German Shepherd that kept sneaking up and scaring you. Definitely not a good combo when handling eletrical work! haha!)

Valentine's Day 2014!   I called American Eagle Electrical after reading a few reviews on yelp.   Obviously one never knows what to expect when hiring an outside source to do repair work.   I gave American Eagle five stars for a few reasons:  It was so easy to make an appointment, which I made the day before.  He was punctual, which is gratifying to experience.  I had a buzzing, old outlet replaced and then also replaced all others in the same room.  He replaced old wiring for overhead florescent lighting and the four bulbs and put up a new cover.  He also installed four outdoor motion detector lights.  Lastly he replaced my old bathroom light switches with modern ones and a new outlet and a very old lighting fixture.  He and his helper were very patient with my going to Home Depot to get parts three times.   Overall, they were friendly, knowledgeable and highly professional.   They were a little more expensive than I expected, but I really don't know anything about electrical services and I just wanted the job finished in a competent and trustworthy manner in an expedited fashion.   I will definately be using their services for all my electrical needs.  I told him I will be calling him in the future to make an outlet for my outdoor area and to install a TV to my wall with hidden wiring.   I was not disappointed whatsoever in this company's service and if you use them, I hope you are not either.   They were so nice to my little dog even with my dog nipping on the co-workers pant leg for attention.

I needed some electrical work but I didn't know the root cause. I contacted J&M Electrical and scheduled the appointment. The technician arrived, punctually, performed and evaluation and informed me that what I needed was an easy fix. It took less than 20 minutes and the price was less than I expected. I was impressed by their honesty and professionalism. I know who to call shall I ever need any electrical work.

I had a GFI plug replaced in my kitchen a few months ago. I really like how he even gave me a quick how to change it out if I ever wanted to do it myself =) His communication was great and kept me inform if he was running late. I would definitely use him again and have been referring my friends to him.

I don't need an electrician very often but when I do I always call Tradesman Electric. I had an issue with my patio lights, Reed came out and had it fixed within an hour. He was prompt, professional and knowledgeable, plus very friendly and helpful. It's a joy doing business with them.

I had all my outside receptacles go dead.  Called and got an appointment.   They were able come early and solved the problem within minutes.  He educated me on circuitry and gave me great diagnostic steps to take for next time I have a problem.  I highly recommend  this company.
