Was looking to get a ceiling fan and switch installed in our bedroom.  Rigo did a great job.  Reasonable rates, solid availability, prompt responses to my messages, and ultimately clean work.  Definitely recommend Electric Castillo!

Yesterday, our lights began flickering, appliances went to error messages and  furnace/heater stopped working.  This morning I called 4 local electricians based on their 5 Star Google and Yelp ratings.  Dan, the owner replied within 15 minutes of my message.  Since he is located in HB, he was able to go to my home and was there within the hour.  My wife said Dan was so pleasant, nice, knowledgeable and professional.  He diagnosed our electrical issue and found that everything internal within our home was working properly and stated the issue could be with SCE.  He called Edison for us, informed them of the issue and set up a service call for us in 3-5 days.  THIS IS GREAT SERVICE!  Do you know how long it would have taken us to call Edison and stay on hold to request a service call.  Been there, done that.  Dan also informed us that we can get reimbursed by SCE for his invoice and the HVAC invoice, if the issue turns out to be related to Edison (which it probably will be) which we plan on filing a claim later after Edison fixes the issue.    

Regarding the furnace/heater, the transformer in our furnace was damaged due to the power surge issue.  He called his HVAC contact and made an appointment for later today to get this repaired.  Coincidently his HVAC contact is our HVAC company that we use, Shawn Lambert (see my review on Shawn Lambert HVAC).  Great companies associate themselves with great companies.

Thank you Dan for your prompt and timely service today.  We will be referring you to our friends, co-workers and family for their electrical needs and you will now be our primary electrician.

Angel and his crew were Awesome!  Very professional and efficient. They were on time and went above and beyond to help us with our electrical needs. The replaced and old dangerous panel and it's perfect and new now!  They also installed a Tesla car charger. They are A++.

Apple Plus Electric is amazing!  I'll never use anyone else.  Ara was truly a pleasure to work with- he was always so pleasant, quick to respond, and super reliable.  His prices were incredibly fair.  We used him for work big and small: Ara upgraded (and relocated due to rules by the LADWP) our old electrical panel, installed an EV charger, replaced some GFCI outlets outdoors, safely enclosed some exposed wiring in our attic, and did some other various jobs throughout our old Atwater Village bungalow.
Just this morning, the DWP inspector came to approve the panel upgrade & relocation and even HE made it a point to compliment how well the job was done!  That's a first in my experience.  I can't recommend Ara enough.

I recently had an electrical problem at my home and hired these guys to fix it. They were totally professional and showed up at the appointed time wearing masks and gloves. The situation was a bit complicated but they figured it out and did the necessary work. Their charges were reasonable especially considering they came out three (3) times and had to enter the crawl space under the house. Living on the Westside I have encountered more than a few thieves who quote outrageous fees and it's nice to find people who can do the work for a fair price. These gentlemen are keepers and I will definitely use them in the future should the need arise.

Johnny answered my initial phone call himself. When I gave him my address, he mentioned he knew exactly where I was because he did original wiring in this condominium complex.

I was given a same day appointment, which was quite impressive, and three hour appointment time window. The technician called a half early to say he'd be arriving right at the beginning of the given time window. Again, impressive.

Technician was so professional but also friendly and courteous. He quickly identified the issue at hand and resolved it for me. The pricing was fair to my knowledge. I would not only utilize their services again, I also would also recommend them to friends, family and the Yelp community.

I recently had the pleasure of doing business with Brandon and Randy at Armor Electric and I yet again was very impressed with their quality of work, professionalism and attention to detail.  I First hired Brandon in 2008 when I bought my home.  The home needed a lot of work and I knew the things I wanted to do would come with a hefty price.  Initially I wasn't sure where to start but Brandon gave some great recommendations and I hired them to install 5 new ceiling fans, and add 7 new dimmer switches on all of my recessed lighting.  The project turned out great and I added them to my list of of companies to work with again in the future.  In 2015 I wanted to add some exterior lighting in my back yard and needed some additional plugs added in the Eve's and a new switch added in the home to control, again their price was reasonable, their work was exceptional and I was very happy with the end result.  Most recently I started on a kitchen and bathroom remodel and I wanted to add some new can lighting and additional plugs in both areas.  Brandon came out and suggested LED cans in the kitchen and retrofitted a few others to match the LED we were putting in.  In the kitchen I had an issue where we always had to unplug the coffee pot or the toaster to plug our phones in and Brandon immediately said he had a great solve for my problem, a plug with two USB ports and two regular plugs!  I now have the brightest kitchen and bath with the best technology and couldn't be happier with my experience over the years.  I highly recommend Armor electric to anyone who has future electric needs!

Eric handled two different projects at our home in wonderful fashion.  He was responsive and professional; offered a fair estimate of cost and time, and delivered what he promised.

We plan on using him again next month as our remodel moves along.  I even recommended him to my parents, as I trust him to do great work at a great price!

My outlet started sparking, I got in touch with my landlord, and gave these guys a call. They came out right away to assess the situation, for free!!! The electricians name was Eric, I believe, and he was very friendky, polite, and knowledgeable.

After getting what seemed like a fair quote, I called them back to schedule the service. They literally came a couple hours after my call. I was shocked at how quick they were to respond. The same guy, Eric, came back with his partner and went right to work. It maybe took them 30 minutes to rewire the entire circuit. He showed me all of the problems that he found and not knowing much about this line of work, it was really cool learning and also seeing the dangers that caused the problem.

During the process, they discovered another really important, dangerous hazard with our old wiring that could be disastrous over time. We are having them back to fix it at the end of the month.

I couldn't be more impressed with this company and their great customer service!

Our house had an entire wall knocked down between the kitchen and living room. Needed multiple outlets and switches to be rewired and new wiring for lighting and island hood mounted through the ceiling. Leo is the model of patience and professionalism. Not only was the work correctly and meticulously done, but he also explained every aspect of what he was doing and why. Even fixed pre-existing wiring that could have posed a threat that was incorrectly done from a previous company. Entered the crawl space and attic multiple times to make sure everything was done right and helped make sure everything was flawless. Only electrician I would ever work with, period.

Well...I called him, made an appointment, confirmed the date and time, and guess what...he didn't show up. He didn't even call to cancel, reschedule, or apologize!  Total waste of my time waiting for him on a weekend!  It amazes me how some people say NO to money!  Poor timekeeping is worse than a job poorly done. Respect others time!

Let me copy the last reviewer by also saying if I could give 10 stars, I would!

Arin was 100000% the most honest and humble electrician I've ever serviced with. I had an issue where half my house wasn't getting power, but none of the switches was tripped. Odd.....

Prior to servicing my issue with Arin, I was in contact with 2 other Electric Service Companies that after one quick look at my breaker, told me that I would need to replace the entire panel because I had 3 dead switches. They were also very aggressive with getting me to sign their insanely high quotes. After a few checks on the panel, Arin confirmed that those 3 aforementioned switches were in fact FINE! Without going into too much detail, he was able to locate, diagnose, replace the one blown outlet that blocked power to the half of the house and BOOM...everything restored. (It was an empty fabreeze plug-in that I had plugged into the guest room for years without realizing. Sigh...be careful with those!)

Thank you for saving me from thousands of dollars on potentially replacing something that I didn't need to. Definitely saving your number for future projects and recommending to all of my friends and family in the LA area.

(Also apologies for my derpy German Shepherd that kept sneaking up and scaring you. Definitely not a good combo when handling eletrical work! haha!)

We had a sticking light dimmer we made the mistake of WD40'ing, which just caused it to stick more, then buzz, then smoke and spark.  In a panic, we starting calling electrical companies and when we called American Eagle, Ibrahim answered and was here within 20 min.  He replaced the switch for a very reasonable price and was here and done with the work less than an hour after we called (after 5 on a Saturday).  He was professional and courteous - the experience was a pleasure.

We had a problem with our GFI switch constantly shorting out and setting off the breaker. I even had it replaced before and it still did the same thing. So I searched Yelp for another electrician and found J&M Electrical. And I'm glad I did! When I called the receptionist, she was very polite, professional and making an appointment to fit my schedule was a breeze. The Electrician showed up on time and was very professional, personable and polite. I told him what the problem was and he diagnosed the issue in no time. He did not try to up sell or replace unnecessary parts for no reason. He finished the job quickly and cleaned up any mess or dust. Everything has been working perfectly since! I'd highly recommend J&M Electrical to my friends and family, and I will definitely contact them for any electrical needs in the future!

Mike is probably the most fair and honest electrician I have ever met! After sourcing my job to three different electricians not only was Mike's one of the lowest in cost but also the fastest and most complete in the whole job. I would and will be recommending Mike to everyone I know that needs an electrician.

Ryan is awesome! My power went out 2 hours before the Super Bowl, I was frantically looking for someone to help on a Sunday. Within 30 mins Ryan was at my door! He worked quickly and had us back online in under 30 mins. So grateful for Eon Electric! You guys will have all of our future business!

This wonderful company came highly recommended.  I was a guest from out of town and the breaker blew. Dennis came out and fixed everything quickly. This company is kind, courteous and attentive.

Top flight service, and prompt, even on a day of HEAVY rains. Joel got there, got to work, and did a bang up job, too! We've used Service Calls Electric a couple of times before, and are always more than satisfied with the work, and the price too. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

This review is long overdue, but Harout and the team at Globecast Electrical Services are some of the best people we've had work on our home. We bought our house (built in 1953) from flippers last November and since then have been upgrading and/or fixing some of the upgrades the flippers and subsequent contractors carelessly installed.

In early July we had our air conditioning repaired and suddenly our chandelier stopped working. Harout went through the attic and pointed out the various code violations people had left behind. He explained everything that needed to be fixed and provided me an estimate for the repairs while giving me time to think about whether or not I wanted to hire him. I really appreciated his transparency and honesty and after talking with my husband we decided to hire him to fix the MANY electrical problems in our house. We felt his price was more than fair considering the work that needed to be done.

The day Harout came out to do the work he was quick, thorough, and kept me informed of what he and his colleague were doing the entire time. We will definitely be repeat customers should we have any electrical needs in the future!
