I had some lights on a circuit that stopped working.  Contacted Redline Electric and Dan came out same day. He was able to systematically hunt down the problem quickly and get our lights back on.  Also had him switch out an outlet and fix a wiring issue he found.  I would definitely use him for any electrical work I need in the future. I originally called on Angel to install a Ring camera but also had a number of electrical issues that he happily addressed. I really appreciate how he took the time investigate the issues, gave me options for each plan of action and added his recommendations. I knew exactly what the issue was and how he was going to fix it before he started the work- that shows true professionalism, integrity and extensive knowledge.  

Angel and his team arrived on time and even sent a message to let me know what time I should expect them to arrive.  They worked efficiently and effectively while being conscientious about me working from home so as not to disrupt power to my internet connection. I was impressed by the cleanliness of their work and attention to detail.

Angel really went above and beyond. He demonstrated this by recommending a better lighting option for my kitchen and replacing the bulbs. That was such a kind gesture that he really didn't have to do but it has made a huge difference- it is much brighter and way better now. I didn't realize how poor the lighting was until he upgraded it.  Thank you for that and the awesome work, Angel!

What a colossal waste of time! I initially contacted Ara at Apple Plus Electric in early April, around April 6th to install an outlet for a dishwasher I was having added to my kitchen, as well as an outlet for my electric stove, which was being moved to the opposite side of the kitchen.  He came out, looked at my kitchen, looked at my power box and told me that he would get back to me with a price. Great! His reviews on Yelp are what gave me confidence that I'd selected a pro.  Boy, was I mistaken.  He quoted me a price, which was within my budget and then told me to let him know when my new cabinets were installed so that he could come and do the work. I suggested that he do the work before the cabinets, since the kitchen would be completely empty after demolition but he said no, he'd come the day after my cabinets got installed.  Fine. So my kitchen got demo'd and sat empty for an entire week because my cabinet guy couldn't fit me in until a week after demo.  When the cabinet guy came he said that I needed to move the existing outlet for the stove because I wanted a cabinet in that area and if the bulky outlet, which stuck out of the floor, wasn't removed, he would have to cut a hole in my cabinet to accommodate the outlet. So I called Ara and told him.  He came out right away, removed the outlet and then complained that he couldn't do the rest of the electrical work since he was already there (the cabinet guys didn't want him in the way because it was cabinet day, not electrical day). The cabinet installer asked why he hadn't already done the electrical work and Ara acted like he had no clue that I was getting new cabinets. He even made a nasty comment before I headed back to work, saying yeah, you've done enough already, trying to save face in front of the cabinet guy.  I ignored him and left for work but, unbeknownst to him, my son was still home and overheard him in the kitchen bad mouthing me to the cabinet guy, as if I was the incompetent one who didn't have the work done before the cabinets came in.  I'm not even in this business and I know that it's only logical to want to do the electrical work when there is nothing in the kitchen but walls and flooring.  But, thinking he was an expert, I listened to him and scheduled it when he wanted - after the cabinets were installed. We spoke regularly because I had to change the appointment with him twice since the cabinets had to be rescheduled once, so he knew full well that I was having new cabinets put in and demo. So after he left and insulted me and bad mouthed me to the cabinet installer, he then sends me a revised estimate for TRIPLE the initial agreed upon quote.  Not double, but TRIPLE.  And the only thing that was added was a stove hood vent.  None of the other work needed had changed. SO, not only did I waste an entire week waiting for this jack-off, I now have to find a competent electrician, push back the installation of my stove and dishwasher and hood vent, AND I have to go another week without being able to cook. I'm still seething mad but I had to get this off my chest.  I am kicking myself for not getting additional quotes and trusting him and the Yelp reviews.

This service is great! Had an emergency problem. They came right away. Fixed it perfectly and for a fair price. I high recommend them for your electrical needs.

Randy, the owner came by to see why my Tesla was charging at only 7 miles an hour instead of 30. Randy quickly discovered that the charger box was unplugged from the cord by about half. He immediately noticed that the T on the Tesla charger box was red instead of green. He was here less than 10 minutes and charged nothing because he fixed it so quickly and easily. I would not hesitate to use this company for any electrical needs.

I had a very tricky problem that several other electrical companies missed, however Art from United was relentless in troubleshooting and fixing the problem. Service was great, and Art was clean, courteous, and professional. I will definitely use and recommend United. I would give Art and United 10 stars if possible !

Our house had an entire wall knocked down between the kitchen and living room. Needed multiple outlets and switches to be rewired and new wiring for lighting and island hood mounted through the ceiling. Leo is the model of patience and professionalism. Not only was the work correctly and meticulously done, but he also explained every aspect of what he was doing and why. Even fixed pre-existing wiring that could have posed a threat that was incorrectly done from a previous company. Entered the crawl space and attic multiple times to make sure everything was done right and helped make sure everything was flawless. Only electrician I would ever work with, period.

Well...I called him, made an appointment, confirmed the date and time, and guess what...he didn't show up. He didn't even call to cancel, reschedule, or apologize!  Total waste of my time waiting for him on a weekend!  It amazes me how some people say NO to money!  Poor timekeeping is worse than a job poorly done. Respect others time!

Arin was 100000% the most honest and humble electrician I've ever serviced with. I had an issue where half my house wasn't getting power, but none of the switches was tripped. Odd.....

Prior to servicing my issue with Arin, I was in contact with 2 other Electric Service Companies that after one quick look at my breaker, told me that I would need to replace the entire panel because I had 3 dead switches. They were also very aggressive with getting me to sign their insanely high quotes. After a few checks on the panel, Arin confirmed that those 3 aforementioned switches were in fact FINE! Without going into too much detail, he was able to locate, diagnose, replace the one blown outlet that blocked power to the half of the house and BOOM...everything restored. (It was an empty fabreeze plug-in that I had plugged into the guest room for years without realizing. Sigh...be careful with those!)

Thank you for saving me from thousands of dollars on potentially replacing something that I didn't need to. Definitely saving your number for future projects and recommending to all of my friends and family in the LA area.

(Also apologies for my derpy German Shepherd that kept sneaking up and scaring you. Definitely not a good combo when handling eletrical work! haha!)

J&M Electrical is one of the best contractors I've ever hired. Kevin came out the next day after I called, and gave us a thorough and honest estimate. Scheduling the work appointment through their office was effortless, and a crew of three (quote was for two) showed up on time. Nick and Josh were very professional, and reviewed the landscape lighting job they were there for. The work they did was top shelf, almost to the point of perfection. They cleaned up afterwards and Nick made sure we were satisfied with the lighting, which I should say was spectacular. He even returned several days later (by appointment through their office) to tighten some screws and inspect the project. If you're looking for an honest, economical, and professional company, look no further - these guys are it!

Mike is probably the most fair and honest electrician I have ever met! After sourcing my job to three different electricians not only was Mike's one of the lowest in cost but also the fastest and most complete in the whole job. I would and will be recommending Mike to everyone I know that needs an electrician.

The dreaded sound of a pop, crackle, and bzzzt, then a dark room. The wall outlet in my living room into which I'd plugged a floor lamp totally died and I had the onerous task of finding an electrician to come out and fix it. Yelp to the rescue! I called to see if they could come out that night (it was a Friday) but it was pretty late in the day and since they were closed on the weekends (I think when I called them they were closed both Sat and Sun but I see now that they're open on Sat) the guy said he could be out first thing Monday. Since the other places I'd called first weren't even returning my calls I said sure. The young electrican (Dylan...?) came promptly at the appointed time and got to work right away. He identified the problem in short order (I just needed my wall plug unit thingy totally replaced because they were falling apart) and it was all fixed and done in under an hour--he has some commonly replaceable items in his truck for a reasonable charge so no need to run to the hardware store or whatever. The whole thing cost about $100 and I was happy to pay it. Now my wall plug is good as new and I've found a reliable electrician service close to home.

STEPH JUDGEMENT: Professional, speedy and reasonably priced.

I had two jobs that required an electrician so I jumped on Yelp and found The Tradesman. Tom asked me some questions over the phone so he could come prepared for the task. He gave me a price and we organised a time that he could come out and do the job.
Tom and an employee came out, did the job efficiently, were very courteous and were happy to answer the many questions of my children. They stuck to the price quoted and all in all I'm a happy customer and there were no issues.
I would absolutely call Tom again if I need any further electrical work.

Nick came out and did exactly what we needed. He did the job so well, we were very impressed. His work was very clean. Will use them again.

Update: We used him again...just as good the second time. He goes above and beyond. Glad to have found a reliable and honest electrician.

I chose Harout  after interviewing and getting 5 estImates.  I needed to have two 240v outlets installed in my garage. His cordial and professional demeanor stood out among the others. Initially, I thought I would just be going with whoever was most cost effective but instead went with my gut and chose Harout. Some estimates I received were more than double what Harout quoted me and others were much less. My perspective on most of the electricians was that they had an attitude that they were doing me a favor rather than doing work for me.  I am really impressed with Harout's work ethic - the guy laid down plastic to keep debris from falling on my garage floor - even when I told him not to bother. The work he did was over the top professional and I could tell he took pride in what he was doing  - I have done enough electrical  work to know that there were corners he could have cut to save time  and costs but he didn't.
