came out to install my Ring Security light the first time it was done so
quick and professionally I knew if I had a future problem I would be calling Apple Plus .  I had a problem with my lights going off when my microwave was on so I called Apple Plus Electric they came out and
fixed it for me right away so I could use my microwave, that was a blessing we use our microwave everyday I am just so appreciative to have found Apple Plus Electric .. If I could give them a 10 star review I would.

Professional and reasonable. The team was quick to respond and communicate their arrival, they were professional and honest during our initial meeting, and did a clean job with Electrical Car Charger instalation.

anyhoo, we found apple righty here on yelp because we have an on-demand water heater. it has an electric start and well the electric wasn't starting!

i dropped them a note maybe 7:30 am in the morning, and ara answered super promptly even before 9 am. he was professional and friendly and best yet... he went out of his way to come this a way and take a look at it for us! turns out it was a simple thing, the gfi as we had also suspected. but i was not gonna unwire and rewire a new one. one because i don't know how to. and two because even after i watched a youtube video how to do it i still didn't know how to do it! anyway some things are best left for professionals! like electricity!

ara got us up and running super promptly, texted arrival in advance, and was just perfect and pleasant to work with from start to finish. you can tell he really enjoys his work.

I had bought a couple of floodlight/motion sensor cameras for my house. I called several electricians, they either couldn't install Ring cams, make their appointment, or showed up late. I saw Apple Plus Electric in my Yelp search, not many reviews but those who commented were satisfied. I gave them a shot and here I am writing (i don't usually write reviews).  

Ara is very professional, courteous, friendly and most of all ON TIME.  He was responsive to my phone/text. He also text me the day before my appointment to confirm. His price is fair. He comes out to take a look at the work and send an email of the estimate. There is no hidden cost and you get 15% off.

If you want your Ring cams professionally installed, CALL HIM. I plan on having him upgrade my electric panel and install a car charger.

Ara answered SO quickly to our Yelp request for a quote and came same day to give an estimate.  We met with 2 other local electricians and Ara's prices couldn't be beat and we didn't feel like he was talking down to us or upsell us on any services.  In about half a day Ara and his two technicians installed 4 additional electrical outlets in our kitchen, including an outlet that would work for an electric range, replaced some annoying motion sensor lights with regular switches, rewired two livingroom lights to work on the same switch, installed 3-way switches for kitchen and entryway, and cleaned up the electrical box labeling.
     We will definitely be reaching out to Ara again soon for some more work!

He's an amazing person, and a talented electrician. I'm thrilled to write an amazing review like this one. Ara and his team at Apple Plus Electric are the real deal. The quality of work is exceptional and their attitude is fantastic.   It's wonderful to be able to trust someone with electrical repairs and installation at your home.  They installed cafe lights and fixed a ground wire that operates my driveway gate, which was not done properly by the builder.  Ara shows up on time, with a big smile and wants to please.  I will use Apple Plus as my go-to electric company from now on, in fact, they'll be adding a Tesla charger which will involve adding more power to the electrical box. Apple Plus Electric offers and provides exceptional service. We just moved in to a house with a bunch of little issues... blown fuse, broken fixtures, beeping alarms, etc.

Ara fixed the fuse and double checked each outlet, explained to me how to choose new fixtures, and helped reinstall the alarm dangling from the ceiling.

I paid the lower end of the quote he gave me online although I would have been happy to pay more for the quality of service.

We used Apple Plus to install lighting in our bathroom which we were remodeling. They installed a new air vent, recessed lighting, and a wall sconce. We are extremely pleased with the service and work that Apple provided. They were friendly and professional and made the process go so smoothly. Last time I called them out, I asked them to install some new outlets in my restaurant.  After they left, I realized that I had asked them to put the new outlets in a really dumb spot (too close to our food warmers).  It was totally 100% my fault, but they came back out no questions asked and fixed it for me!

This is one of those posts that has been a long time coming.  I'm going to start with the fact that Ara is my electrician hero. I had a panel upgrade (a 100 amp zinsco fire hazard to 200 amp) that took forever to get approval through the city to replace. Ara was there every step of the way providing the city with everything they requested showing up every time they asked him to, even if he was busy and had to drive way out of his way to meet an inspector or the power company. Through it all he and his guys were cheerful, funny, thorough, and super clean and respectful to my house.

He provided an extremely good quote and I challenge any one to find a better quote with as good of reviews. I liked him and his guys so much I have had them do several other electrical related things and each time it was a pleasure to work with him and his men.

Do yourself a favor and use this guy he stands by his work, is super fast (even with the city slowing him down), clean, and best of all just a really nice guy.  You won't be disappointed :)

I had Ara to my home to check a problem with my driveway gates and the lights on my exterior wall.  I am pretty handy with these things generally, but this one had me stumped. The problem resided in the panel, and it was more than a broken circuit breaker. I reached out to Apple Plus--Ara responded minutes later and was at my house within a couple hours. He diagnosed and fixed the problem(s) and  charged me the original quoted price despite spending quite a bit of time getting to the bottom of a complicated problem. He explained it all very patiently and was very professional and courteous.

I had him back a second time on a related matter--there was no charge. I highly recommend this company and will use him for any and all future electrical needs. I have had a number of service technicians to my home over the last 30 years--plumbers, HVAC folks etc. Some good, some not so good. Ara rates with the best.

I have to admit, I was a little suspicious of all the reviews being five stars.  Now I know why.  Ara was prompt, professional, efficient and as nice as could be.  He changed out three light fixtures that were older than he is, and did a beautiful job.

I have had a horrible history with electricians.  I have been overcharged, tricked, lied to and had disastrous work done, including significant damage to my home.  Ara has changed my entire view of the profession.  He will be my electrician from now on.

OK, seriously, there's a reason that these guys are 5 star all the way.  We had used them before to install a 240 volt charger for our 500e and not only were they the lowest of three bids, they did a great job.  Super friendly and communicative.  Very pleased.  Then, a few years later, I needed to replace an outdoor GFCI and remount an existing outdoor fan   which had plumb near torqued itself off of our ramada.  Not only did Ara RESPOND right away, he remembered helping us with our charger.  He gave an estimate over the phone and made suggestions based on some photos I texted him.  We set a day where he showed up on time, knocked out all the work AND nailed the estimate (plus a part he supplied).  The work was better than I expected and I'm glad it was done right this time.  So glad to see there is an awesome business like Apple Plus that will return your call (unlike several others), and do a great job at a good price.  Highly recommend!

Ara and his team did a fantastic job on our new town home. He installed recessed lights in our living room, hallway, and bathroom. He also installed a new chandelier for us as well as a ceiling fan in our bedroom. The final thing he did was install a new breaker box as well. All of this was done for a reasonable price and he even threw in new outlets we needed and replaced an old recessed light in our shower for free as a kind gesture. Ara was always courteous of our time and timeline to complete everything.

HONEST AND AFFORDABLE! Had an emergency breaker box issue and was able to get Apple plus to come out the next morning. They were so professional, easy to reach, on time and so affordable. We have had so many bad experiences and Ara is amazing! He worked fast and neat. He cleaned up after he was done and was so nice. Ara is really a nice guy, but more importantly he did a great job for a very reasonable price.  I needed three dimmers and their wiring to the attic replaced. He was able to do so in about 2 hours and was able to do so without making any holes in my wall.  I've had bad experiences with electricians before, so this was a very pleasant surprise!

I needed to install a doorbell in my home. The previous homeowners had one of those wireless ones that didn't always work. I had gotten many estimates from other electricians who all said they would need to rewire a whole new doorbell unit (all estimates ranging from $400-$700). Ara came and noticed the original doorbell hole, popped it open, saw the wires were still working, and installed a new doorbell for $45. So refreshing to work with such an honest guy!

Ara immediately emailed me back and came out for an estimate. He was on time and told me the best way to save money, he gave me an amazing price! Apple Plus Electric is amazing!  I'll never use anyone else.  Ara was truly a pleasure to work with- he was always so pleasant, quick to respond, and super reliable.  His prices were incredibly fair.  We used him for work big and small: Ara upgraded (and relocated due to rules by the LADWP) our old electrical panel, installed an EV charger, replaced some GFCI outlets outdoors, safely enclosed some exposed wiring in our attic, and did some other various jobs throughout our old Atwater Village bungalow.
Just this morning, the DWP inspector came to approve the panel upgrade & relocation and even HE made it a point to compliment how well the job was done!  That's a first in my experience.  I can't recommend Ara enough.

Ara at Apple Plus is knowledgeable, efficient, economical and kind.  It's not just the work, its a persons soul, their energy, that you invite in your home.  Many service professionals should take note, charging more money or having a crass attitude is not good business.  You may get the one job but never repeat customer.  Learn from Ara, he charged me $90 for a ceiling fan install.  Most other quotes were $150 to $200.  Give me a break! A ceiling fan is not rocket science but Ara seized the opportunity to prove his skill-set and professionalism.  He cleaned up after himself and refused my generous tip! What? Who is this guy??  He is a good person that you can trust and remove the veil of workman suspicion. I just had a large portion of the house rewired and I have to say Ara made it a pleasant experience.   He and his crew were very professional though out the process.    The old house, with its mishmash of junction boxes, made the job a challenge but they never complained.   Despite a very hot and tight attic  and crawl space they managed to remove all the old cloth wiring to make the house safer.    Unlike some larger companies who send out journeymen to do the job, Ara was here the whole time working and directing his two workers.    Btw his workers were pleasant, courteous,  hard working and cleaned up all the debris before leaving.    When the job was done, Ara didn't try to chisel me for more money......charged me what we had agreed on...a very fair price.   Bravo to Ara!

Used Apple Plus to install a new EVSE 240v outlet off an old burned out 50amp Breaker on our panel. He replaced the burned out breaker and did a clean install on the new Nema 14-50 outlet. His price was much more competitive than others.  He did such a great job I'm having him give me another quote for adding a new dedicated 20amp outlet to the garage! Will update when that's done!

I don't think I can say enough great things about this company. They are reliable, kind, efficient and very professional. I can tell how much pride they take in their services and am so relieved that we found them. Our very old house needed the electrical box completely replaced as it's original one had become a fire hazard. It was a big job but Apple Plus came to the house a conquered! Ara was incredibly responsive, and set an appointment that worked for my busy schedule. I sent photos of the lights and areas I needed replaced and he came prepared! When one of the brand new light fixtures I bought to replace an older one was missing a piece, he improvised, and fixed the brand new light fixture so I would not have to go to the trouble of exchanging it at the store. Best of all, I had gotten estimates for the same work from 4 other businesses and he charged half the price that others quoted me for the same work!

As you know by now, there are a ton of electricians on Yelp. I had about 4 companies come out to provide estimates for a wiring problem I had affecting 1 circuit in my house. Prices ranged wildly and my confidence level and comfort with most of them  was very low. I have a very old house that has had things added and changed over the years, most of which were done incorrectly. I realized that diagnosing the issue would take some work and someone that's willing to climb in the attic and get real dirty...basically someone that would go the extra mile and not just want to do a quick fix for a quick buck. Well Ara and his team came ready and willing to get the job done. Not only did he diagnose and explain the main problem (that could've resulted in a catastrophic event for my family and I) but he corrected years worth of bad jobs and quick fixes. Ara from Apple Plus Electric installed an exterior outlet and light for me.  Not only was he exactly on time, but he was pleasant, fast and efficient... and completely cleans up after himself.  He's a great electrician and a great value!  (He probably wouldn't want me telling this, but he also gave a jumpstart to another workman at my home and briefly helped me install a door on my kid's treehouse.)  Now that's service!

As a property manager for 112 units, I work with vendors all the time. Working with Ara is stress free. If he is running late he texts. He does excellent work and really cares if there is a problem after the initial job has been completed. He does not disappear into the darkness like many vendors. Had a great experience with Ara today.  My ceiling fan was shorting and most electricians wanted me to throw out the fan and replace it so they could charge me a huge fee.  I'm glad I didn't add to the landfill as there was nothing wrong with it other than some very obvious loose wires.  Ara fixed it easily and charged me a very reasonable service fee.  I'm happy to have found him.

We called Ara at Apple Plus to come fix our front gate intercom and doorbell system which most electricians didn't want to be bothered with.  The property that had the issue is a rental house so there was some coordinating with our tenant and Ara to schedule a visit.  Ara came out to the house and assessed the issue quickly and repaired it that day.  And the best part is the cost was HALF of a previous quote we got before the holidays.  Apple Plus is definitely a 5 star operation in my book.  Highly recommend.

Ara was excellent!  He knew what he was doing and finished the job in 30 mins.  2 outlets and replaced a flood light in the backyard.  He came early to the appointment too.  Price was very reasonable compared to the other quotes I got on yelp.  Will definitely use him again.

ARA was FANTASTIC.  From my first phone call, thru the installation of my pendant light, which I adore, Ara was a complete professional. He has access to other professionals such as plaster/patching, which was necessary for the scope of my job. While  he was here, he did a few things without charge, since he was waiting for the drywall to dry. Arrived early, and phoned me to make sure that was convenient - SUPER! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I had a rush job due to some impending cabinetry being installed, and Ara came out with only one day's notice.  He did fast, efficient work installing new outlets in two  rooms. His work was very neat; he didn't leave a hole in the wall, though another electrician told me there would have to be a hole in the wall. He even gave me the new customer discount. Wow! I had a somewhat tricky repair for a light fixture and Ara fixed it quickly and efficiently on the spot. I could not be happier and I would highly recommend him for any electrical repair you have. A kind and honest provider who does excellent work!!!

What a colossal waste of time! I initially contacted Ara at Apple Plus Electric in early April, around April 6th to install an outlet for a dishwasher I was having added to my kitchen, as well as an outlet for my electric stove, which was being moved to the opposite side of the kitchen.  He came out, looked at my kitchen, looked at my power box and told me that he would get back to me with a price. Great! His reviews on Yelp are what gave me confidence that I'd selected a pro.  Boy, was I mistaken.  He quoted me a price, which was within my budget and then told me to let him know when my new cabinets were installed so that he could come and do the work. I suggested that he do the work before the cabinets, since the kitchen would be completely empty after demolition but he said no, he'd come the day after my cabinets got installed.  Fine. So my kitchen got demo'd and sat empty for an entire week because my cabinet guy couldn't fit me in until a week after demo.  When the cabinet guy came he said that I needed to move the existing outlet for the stove because I wanted a cabinet in that area and if the bulky outlet, which stuck out of the floor, wasn't removed, he would have to cut a hole in my cabinet to accommodate the outlet. So I called Ara and told him.  He came out right away, removed the outlet and then complained that he couldn't do the rest of the electrical work since he was already there (the cabinet guys didn't want him in the way because it was cabinet day, not electrical day). The cabinet installer asked why he hadn't already done the electrical work and Ara acted like he had no clue that I was getting new cabinets. He even made a nasty comment before I headed back to work, saying yeah, you've done enough already, trying to save face in front of the cabinet guy.  I ignored him and left for work but, unbeknownst to him, my son was still home and overheard him in the kitchen bad mouthing me to the cabinet guy, as if I was the incompetent one who didn't have the work done before the cabinets came in.  I'm not even in this business and I know that it's only logical to want to do the electrical work when there is nothing in the kitchen but walls and flooring.  But, thinking he was an expert, I listened to him and scheduled it when he wanted - after the cabinets were installed. We spoke regularly because I had to change the appointment with him twice since the cabinets had to be rescheduled once, so he knew full well that I was having new cabinets put in and demo. So after he left and insulted me and bad mouthed me to the cabinet installer, he then sends me a revised estimate for TRIPLE the initial agreed upon quote.  Not double, but TRIPLE.  And the only thing that was added was a stove hood vent.  None of the other work needed had changed. SO, not only did I waste an entire week waiting for this jack-off, I now have to find a competent electrician, push back the installation of my stove and dishwasher and hood vent, AND I have to go another week without being able to cook. I'm still seething mad but I had to get this off my chest.  I am kicking myself for not getting additional quotes and trusting him and the Yelp reviews.

Very responsive - great service and follow through.  Called on a Sunday (when the business is closed) and left a message - only to receive a quick call back and service on Monday afternoon.  Ara was also very kind to my elderly mom and coordinated with me over the phone to ensure her needs were met - really helpful.  Additionally, his prices are very reasonable.  Will definitely ask for him again for any electrical needs we have.

Talk about a professional!!!   Ara showed up on time, prepared, and got the job done in a matter of minutes.   Super polite, and extremely reasonable and honest.  I even tried to tip him and he couldn't accept.  DEFINITELY will call on him for all my electrical needs.  HIGHLY recommended, don't waste your time calling anyone else.

Very happy with the work Ara performed for my electric car charger installation. Install was quick and clean and he's very good about showing up on time, returning calls and scheduling. DWP inspectors were impressed by the quality of his work, that says a lot to me. Look forward to working with Ara again.

I found Ara to be prompt, clean, honest and fair.  He responded quickly, let me know when he was on his way and was professional and helpful.  He does excellent work and I have already contacted him to do additional work.  He found a problem two other reputable electricians couldn't find and fixed it quickly.  I can only hope all of the good reviews don't make him too busy!  It is a refreshing experience to be able to count on an electrician for a change!

I would highly recommend Ara to anyone. He installed two coach lights in front of our garage and installed the 150-lb chandelier in our living room and another chandelier in our dining room. If you need an electrician, Ara is your man.  Friendly, clean and professional, I am certainly glad I found him.  He showed up on time, diagnosed the problem, made the needed repairs and his pricing couldn't be better.  He is now my go to guy when it comes to electrical issues.

I was in the process of updating our switches and outlets around the house, and because of my limited experience with electrical work, I encountered some issues and lost power to a portion of the house. I called Apple Plus around 2pm and by 5pm they showed up! They quickly addressed the problem and completed the project for me in a short amount of time.They were affordable, efficient, and informative, and I learned something new in the process. Highly recommended!
