Edgar was very professional, courteous, friendly and practiced safe guidelines wearing his mask. He replaced our bathroom vent for $400 including parts and labor and made sure to keep the project area clean by placing plastic sheeting everywhere. A job well done and reasonably priced! I never thought I'd say this, but I just had an GREAT experience with an electrician!    This is saying something when you consider how hard it is to find reliable contractors for ANY trades in Tahoe.  

I called Jason to fix a wiring problem with a GFCI circuit in my kitchen. Not only did he quickly diagnose and correct the problem with a bad ground wire, he also fixed a problem with my low voltage  lighting just by going through the breaker box and tightening connections. This kind of attention to detail and quality of work is not something you see a much of anymore.

I appreciated the fact that Jason was prompt, personable ,  and communicative .  He also  called  ahead to let me know that he was going to be slightly delayed.   That may not sound like much, but it reflects a lot of professionalism that is missing these days.  It also shows that he has respect for the customers time.

I was so happy with the results of this experience that I asked Jason to quote a heat tape installation on my roof. I will use him again for jobs large and small and we'll give him my highest recommendation!

Nicks is fantastic.  I've only received quality workmanship from these guys.  They've installed indoor fixtures including cutting holes in my ceiling (last review) as well as installing a series of GFI sockets outdoors so that I could light my exterior just as beautifully as the interior.  The GFIs were EXPERTLY designed and they saved me money overall by carefully considering placement and strategy.  Nick's guys showed up in the early morning to perform the work; they're great guys and they worked hard (including pruning some bushes so as to have a pathway on which to route electricity).  Their workmanship is impeccable.

These guys are kind, honest and do good work.  You'd do well to hire them for your project.

I bought a voucher from Living Social for an hour's worth of electrical services, and I'm very pleased with the result. The technicians were prompt, clean, knowledgeable and friendly. The non-working ceiling fan is all fixed now. I would definitely use their services again. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was because I had to wait several weeks for an appointment, probably due to the popularity of the voucher sale.

We had a room where the electric was going in and out randomly after we hired another electrician to install a light. Oscar was very prompt in returning my calls, scheduling a diagnostic, and arrived on the early side of the set window of time. They got to work right away and figured out and fixed all the issues. He kept me informed the whole time and really explained the technical side of the issues. The cost for their well done work was fairly priced. He even told me that our breaker was going to need to be replaced in another year or so, but didn't pressure me to have it done now. He gave me an estimate for the breaker and said that since it's would be such significant cost it would be a good idea to start saving money for it now.  Great customer service! Really felt like they cared about doing the job right and taking care of our home!

Electricians showed up on time, went over what I needed done, worked with me to understand how I wanted the Light fixture placed, and performed the work flawlessly!!! I could not be more happy with the job that was performed by your Electricians!!!!
Also, Had a short in my Bathroom recessed can lights, they took care of that in just a few minutes!!!! I've had one other electrician over from a different company, and he could not figure it out. Also had the Newer Led Lights installed, and wow, what a difference that made to my Bathroom!!!!!
I am so happy I called Omega!!!! Job well done Guys!

It only took them about an hour to finish everything.

UPDATE FEB. 2020: Had some lights go dead after resetting some circuit breakers. Called Mike at So. Bay and he was extremely helpful in fitting me into his busy schedule. He had just returned from a short vacation the night before but let me know he could drop by if I could wait until the evening. He confirmed our appointment later today and arrived about 30 minutes later. He diagnosed the problem right away and took care of replacing the defective breakers in a flash. This guy is the BEST. I wouldn't call anybody else unless Mike was just too booked and it was an emergency. If you can wait for his schedule to open you won't be sorry. He is honest and knows his stuff. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

My electrical box was arcing.  It was pretty startling and I called and they came right away to check it out and made sure it was safe.  They neatly installed a new box and in the process fixed other issues I was having with the electric on one wall.  They worked with me and my landlord for payment.  I will be recommending them to my neighborhood!

Amazing service. Called one morning to have a 240v outlet put in to charge my new electric vehicle and they responded right away arriving at noon the same day. Asked them to check a few other supposedly small items, which revealed a major internal hazard/potential fire danger and they ended up spending the rest of the day strategizing and fixing the issues not leaving until 9pm that night. The final cost was very reasonable. Overall, highly recommended.
