Unhkun was hired to replace a light fixture at our townhouse complex.  He did an excellent job and the HOA was pleased with the work.  I requested that he replace the wood trim on a balcony.  He and Siedd did a great job replacing and painting the trim, although parts of the carpet were left soiled.  I ask Unhkun if he could repair drywall located in my bathroom, and he said yes.  Once again he did an excellent job.  I asked if he could paint two upstairs bathrooms, and if so when could he start.  He and Siedd proceeded to paint the two bathrooms starting December 8, 2021.  By December 10th one bathroom was complete, or so they thought.  I pointed out the poor job done around the edges.  I also removed the toilet tanks to show they had not painted behind them.  The paint job was even more horrible in the master bedroom with paint bleeding through the ceiling, as well a peeling off the walls in some places.  I requested the jobs be done properly, and they started a do over December 20, 2021.  I knew then he was behind in his obligations so I told him to do a job, and then come back to paint the bathrooms properly in between jobs.  So December 22, he allegedly contracted Covid-19.   I told him to get well, and he resumed work January 11, 2022.  I had to nudge him along politely with text every few days.  He would squeeze me in around 3pm every three to four days, and paint a couple hours.  February 2, 2022 he finally realized he bit off more than he could chew and in all fairness he reimbursed the money for one unfinished bathroom, and a partial payment for the other partially unfinished room.  February 10th, I contacted a professional painter that started at 8:00 am and finished at 2:40 pm, and that included a lunch break.  I gave him a five star review.  To add insult to injury Unhkun informed me I could re-attach the toilet tank once he had partially painted one bathroom.  I could re-attach the toilet tank.  I thought I was paying him to do that!  I re-attached the toilet tanks as well as install new towel racks, rings, and accessories.  Which he should have done.  I cleaned up after them every day they worked.  The money I paid him, was nothing to sneeze at.  I expected more professionalism.  In return I lost time that I will never get back, and absorbed additional cost to pay the new painter. I also paid to have the carpet cleaned.  I had to constantly re-adjust my schedule to accommodate him.  He will admit I brought them breakfast, and lunch.  I made sure they had plenty of soft drinks, coffee, and water.  I'm not a tyrant, and I left them alone to do their job.  In closing Unhkun is a really nice guy as you can see from the pictures and positive reviews.  He would tell you I wasn't angry, never yelled, and was patient throughout the process.  We parted professionally.  He did indeed let me know he definitely learned from this experience.  I wish him well, and success with his business.

Poor integrity - The owner does not keep his word.
Sadly, I paid the balance prematurely after the final walk through. Expecting, he would only sign off, based on what he knew was to be completed. We did a walk through, but I didnt look behind all furniture, shelves, tables etc.
1adtl  outlet wasnt installed at all in the kitchen. He  sent  out his head eletrician - to install the outlet, who did not run the wires. Left a big hole in the wall.
Little did I know, there were 2 eletrical outlets- they removed and did not replace in the front room. He said nothing. Simply ignored it.
When I brought this to his attention - he stopped accepting my calls. Instead, sheepishly had his office manager notify me he was not coming out, and issued a refund for $300.00 to complete work he did not finish.  I have since hired another company. And will mark this down as a lesson learned. My advice - dont pay until you know it is to your satisfaction and Check references.

Oleh did a fantastic job replacing old curtains and curtain rods. He was on time, polite and friendly, and got the job done efficiently. The curtain rods look great. I would totally recommend him.

Lee was prompt and professional. Installed outdoor lighting that turned out beautiful. Would highly recommend.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would, maybe another electrical contractor is as good but I don't know how they could be any better. I should have left this long ago and feel badly for not doing it. In the 1 1/2 years it took us to do this I dealt with many contractors for everything that was done and by far, they were my favorite contractor to deal with.

They are very professional, knowledgeable, punctual, polite, great to work with, reasonable rates, thorough,and  nice people to be around. I had 2 bad experiences with electricians prior to them in gutting, redesigning and remodeling the front half of a duplex and was really frustrated with them not showing up on time, being difficult to deal with, nebulous pricing and doing what they wanted and not trying to understand what I really wanted because I hadn't done this before.

They completely rewired a 1947 duplex to make it look great and be modern, it's a vacation/business rental that, a lot because of them, has been reviewed because of them. Excellent work.  Extremely satisfied with SB Electric.  I wanted old/un-used residential wiring (alarm / intercom / etc.) removed.  Ian visited my home and we later set-up the appointment. Ian's son and assistant were on time.  After a quick review of the home -- they began.  ALL wires (inside/outside/garage) were pulled.  ANY/ALL associated boxes/speakers were removed.  They did a post-work review and cleaned-up (no leftover mess whatsoever!).  Had a slight prob (the alarm company's error) w/ the existing system's wiring.  Ian's son (a) corrected the wiring & (b) stayed to ensure that my system was back on line!  I definitely recommend SBEC!

This is based off customer service, and it's very hard these days to find people with good customer service skills. I needed a quote done fast as we were getting close to the close of escrow. Oran had a technician out that day to let us know we were good. He also sent over a quote re assuring so we had documentation that we were good to go. Thank you Oran for having good quality customer service and quick response time!

My landscape lighting stopped functioning. Jesus from the EV Guys came out and promptly fixed it. Great service, polite and professional. My new electricians!

I had a electrical problem at my house so I messaged and called a few places. Luis had the lowest rate, so I called and explained the situation to him. He told me he could come over within an 1 1/2 to 2 hours and he did. He showed up right around the 2 hour window he had given me. He was there and took care of the problem quickly (less then an hour). I definitely will recommend him to anyone looking for an electrician. He was professional, punctual, polite and knowledgeable. Jose returned to my home yesterday to remove & replace a ceiling fan and updated and replaced several electrical wall unit receptacles and light switches. Jose was on time and courtesy in this visit as he was the last time I utilized his services. As I stated in my last review, I will be utilizing his electrical services in the future again and again, due to his professionalism and work ethic.

I was in need of immediate electrical work for my business, I called in the morning and they worked things out for me so quickly.  The lady who answered the phone, I believe her name was Sonny were so sweet and she followed up with me so quickly and the guy who came in to fix the problem found the cause of it and repaired it so fast!  I will definitely call them again for my electrical work!

I am so happy I found Teo!  He responded quickly and was a pleasure to work with. Teo fixed my shower which was constantly leaking due to valve issues.  This was a very challenging repair due to the type of hardware and the layout of pipes behind the shower wall. I highly recommend Bear Electric as your go to Electrician! Living in the IE the weather is often HOT! I was in need of a fan installation for our baby's nursery room. I went on to the Nextdoor app. and Bear Electric was highly recommended by several neighbors. I spoke with Samuel and he was very knowledgeable and explained different options in regards to installation and controlling the light and fan speed via wall switch (what I was looking for). He recommended a fan with lighting that he used for his daughter's nursery and sent me info. The fan had great reviews on Home Depot and I loved the style. Most importantly it was a quiet fan, which I appreciated for baby's nursery.

I immediately requested to move forward with working with Bear Electric after our phone conversation. Bear Electric was very reasonable in regards to pricing but most of all the QUALITY of work he and his team did with installation was superior, quick, and very clean (trust me when I say clean, my husband is picky when it comes to any defects, holes, etc.). Also, they were very respectful of our household, wore booties and cleaned up after install.

We've had Jecor out three more times since our initial fan install. Today 3/1/23 Jesus and his son Jesus came out to our place for the first time and installed a light fixture and switch. The fixture in the garage, switch in the house. They also fixed a ground issue and cleaned up some dead wiring all in just a few hours. The job was exactly what we asked for and hoped it would be when they finished. Our house was left clean and payment was made. I can't recommend Jecor Electric enough, they are a family business and any tech that comes out to your job will do a great/clean/pro job.
