Jose installed a level 2 EV charger at my home. He was quick to come by to provide a reasonable estimate for the install. Unlike the other electricians I spoke with, Jose understood I wanted to install the exterior outlet with little to no conduit showing on the outside wall of my home and he did just that. He and his team were able to update my breaker panel, run all the electrical in the crawl space and install the new Nema outlet. Very professional, friendly to work with and gave me exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend!

This is the second time I have used LR Electrical and once again Jose did not disappoint. We had two hidden outlets installed to mount two televisions. I called LR electrical since they have good reviews here. Luis came by to give me an estimate which I was happy with. I proceeded to make an appointment with him and he said he would start work that day. The day comes and he never shows up. I tried calling and it went to voicemail. I then tried calling from a separate number. He picked up but after hearing who I was, he stopped speaking and hung up.
Very glad this happened BEFORE I paid him for any work. I suggest you look elsewhere as Luis might ghost you at any time.

We had no power. I called LR Electrical. Jose answered immediately. He showed up within 10 minutes even though he was feeling a bit under the weather and it was raining. He fixed the issue and our power was restored. Jose is a good electrician and a great person. Easy to deal with and charged a very affordable and reasonable price. He gives FREE Consultation. The review- I contacted multiple electricians on Yelp. Jose was one of 4 or 5 who responded and I conversed with. I was looking to install a Tesla wall charger Gen 3. After sending images of our panels, he was able to determine a 40 amp breaker would suffice. He asked to come and inspect the panels prior to the work. He came on time, and confirmed we were good to go. His pricing was really fair! I agree with a previous review, for him, it's about the craftsmanship and pride in his work. He wasn't trying to gouge us for dollars. I really, really appreciated that. I know electricians can be extremely expensive.

He came on time this morning, installed the charger in less than an hour. It's beautiful. The workmanship is beautiful. He is extremely knowledgeable. I couldn't have asked for a better electrician.

This part of the review had nothing to do with Jose- but sort of.. we tested that the wall charger worked and it did. After Jose left, 15 minutes into my first charge, the breaker tripped. So I went to reset it and it tripped again almost immediately. I contacted Jose right away and his response was I'll be right back with a new breaker. Didn't even hesitate offering to replace and resolve the issue almost immediately. But actually, it had nothing to do with the breaker or Jose's workmanship. I learned that with the Gen 3 wall charger, you have to adjust to the correct amperage on the Tesla app. Unfortunately, the charger assumes your pulling on a 60amp breaker. Because we're using a 40amp, the max output amperage is 32amps. So go into the Tesla app, select charging and adjust to the correct amperage based on the circuit breaker amp. Otherwise, the car will pull more amperage and trip the breaker every few minutes.

Today he just installed my Tesla home EV outlet (6-50 amps) so I can charge my electric car at home using Level 2 charging now I can charge up to 30 miles per hour at home instead of going to Tesla super charger. Everyday once I wake in the morning my EV car will be fully charged that can run above 250 miles in one single charge. This electrical guy is so fast because within one hour job is done. This guy will ghost you. He did some work for me that I was pretty satisfied with. Asked him to come back another day to do some additional work. I get a message via Yelp that he got in a car accident. Reschedule a week later. Guy doesn't show up at the agreed upon time. Doesn't reply to Yelp messages or phone calls. What a joke.

First off LR Electric is not licensed. Do not hire them for any permitted work.

Working with LR started off well. He seemed responsive and knowledgeable. He performed an on site walkthroigh of the electric panel upgrade I needed.

I gave him a specific work scope that I needed to be able to document had been completed back to Tesla for solar panels I will have installed. LR agreed to this scope as a condition of the project.

He completed the work on the date we agreed and everything seemed in order.

I paid him timely to give him the same respect I thought he was giving me.

Then he never responded to me again. I asked for when the inspection would be and for him to send me a confirmation of the scope of work. I never received anything.

I had to hire another Electrician who has identified several items that need rework to pass inspection.

Now I am out more money and over a month delay on my solar project.

LR seem like they do good work. But they are not licensed and do not stand behind their work.

For that reason I would not reccomend anyone hire them for anything but simple small low dollar projects.

He came and did a great job fixing our electrical for our kitchen and quoted us for another job installing recessed lights that we were thinking about doing. We contacted him again to get the recessed lights installed and agreed on a date, then he didn't show, then rescheduled for another day, and then he completely ghosted us! He's great when he shows but so far has been unreliable and we will have to find another electrician to do the work we need done. I wanted to rave about his work, so this was incredibly disappointing.

Luis, the electrician came by at 4pm as promised.
Very nice guy. He fixed my issue - tripped over load on my EV charger outlets. I told him I will pay his normal consulting hours - he said no. I told him - let me pay for your gas at least, again he said no.

Really great person to have in our neighborhood.
I told myself that once I have an issue again , I will call him.

I cannot say enough or don't have the adjectives to really highlight what he did.

Our kitchen light went out and I contacted Jose at LR Electrical. He came out to give us a free estimate within the hour and he explained in detail what needed to be replaced and his pricing was very reasonable. We had very old light fixtures and he suggested upgrading to LED lighting. He came back to complete the work and he was very polite and professional. He also provided us with a 5 year parts and labor warranty. My husband and I were very happy with his work and we highly recommend him for any electrical needs.

If you're looking for an electrician that will do a great job and give you a great price, give Jose a call. The power for my water heater went out and he gave me the best quote right away and fixed the problem in no time.

The next time I have an issue I'm just going to give him a text or call. I don't need to shop around looking for quotes. I know that he'll give me the best deal and service around.

Really unfortunate. Did not show or call for appointment. Wasted my time. I made a special trip to my new house for this appointment because I'm not living there yet, I only came to my new house for this appointment this morning.

We had an appointment at 9:15 this morning (not a window of time, but 9:15). We scheduled it via Yelp messenger. At around 9:25 having not had anyone come or received a call, I sent a message on Yelp indicating that I needed to know if he was coming because I had to leave shortly for another appointment. I waited till 9:35 for a response and then called. The person who answered said they could be there in about 20 minutes and asked if it was okay. I told them it wasn't. Being 40 min late and no attempt to contact me is not good business. I respected their time enough to drive to the new house to meet at the agreed upon time rather than cancelling short notice when I realized it would be inconvenient for me and the business didn't respect my time enough to honor the appointment time or contact me.

To express my dissatisfaction with not being contacted, I asked if they had tried to contact me to tell me they would miss the appointment time. The person on the phone said someone tried to call but there was no answer. It was not believable to me and I told him I had no missed calls or new messages on Yelp. He asked if I wanted to reschedule and I told him that I would find someone else to do the work. I'm so busy right now and it's hard to woke with someone who isn't respectful of my time.

Very disappointed in my second attempt to work with LR Electrical. He missed two appointments, did not give me advanced notification of either, and never even responded to my texts or calls about missing the last one! I'm not sure if he's very busy now, if he's moved on to a new business, or what the excuse could be, but the repeat failure to communicate or show up to appointments is extremely unprofessional and I would not recommend him to anyone.

His response was that he could not make it because he had just checked the address and I was out of his range. You should check this before you set an appointment and waste a client's time.

I guess I should've read more reviews before trying to get service from this company because it doesn't look like I'm the only one who's gone through issues.

I messaged him about just changing an electrical outlet. Initially, he said he can come by to take a look on Monday 6/14 at 4pm. 4 came and went and I, not him, had to message him asking if he was still coming. He said he couldn't make it and suggested Wednesday 6/16 instead at 10am. I said sure. Wednesday came and I got up waiting for him to show. At 10am, he was a no show again. I messaged him again, again he did not message me first, asking if he was coming, but he never replied this time. I messaged later that day around 5pm saying, hey, messaging one more time just to see if you need to reschedule for next week or something, and never got a reply back again. I can't speak to his actual work, but he is not very communicative. I understand things come up, but you gotta let the customer know, especially if you told them two different times that you'd be there. I have screenshots of the entire messages for proof.

We decided to upgrade our porch light switch to one that would automatically turn on at dusk. We hired a guy who was super friendly but unfortunately didn't pay close attention to what he was doing.
When night fell it got dark, REALLY dark. Our lights sadly didn't turn on.
We called LR Electrical at 9:30pm thinking it would be a long shot to get them to come out last minute, but they did! Thanks to them I was able to sleep better that night.

I contacted Jose to make an appointment for an estimate to add an electrical outlet in the laundry room and hardwire a towel warmer in bathroom. He set the appointment for 9 am on Friday, contacted me late Thursday night to ask if he could move the appointment to 8 am due to a scheduling conflict, I agreed, he then contacted me just before 8 am and said he was running late and would arrive at 830, he arrived around 845. He provided and estimate and scheduled to do work following Friday at noon. Friday arrived with no contact prior. Noon arrives, no Jose. I call him at 1215 (he had said around noon) and asked if he had an estimated time he would arrive... he messaged back he was behind schedule and couldn't make it. He asked to reschedule for next Wednesday. I declined- he shows no reliability or professionalism. No contact or message to advise would t make it. Late or no show for all scheduled times. If that is how you conduct your business I can't really rely on your work. I don't have time to sit around waiting for an appointment who either is late or a no show- time is valuable.

I recently had an electrical problem at my home and hired these guys to fix it. They were totally professional and showed up at the appointed time wearing masks and gloves. The situation was a bit complicated but they figured it out and did the necessary work. Their charges were reasonable especially considering they came out three (3) times and had to enter the crawl space under the house. Living on the Westside I have encountered more than a few thieves who quote outrageous fees and it's nice to find people who can do the work for a fair price. These gentlemen are keepers and I will definitely use them in the future should the need arise.

Not certified. Was at first offering free consultation and was unable to provide help. I don't understand why he responded to my quote if he wasn't able to provide service at all. It made no sense to me. When I asked if he was certified he said they couldn't help. I would avoid any electrician that isn't certified as it's borderline illegal/immoral.

Chose LR Electrical for my issue because its response was the fastest when I requested quote on Yelp. My issue was partial kitchen power outage. I wanted it fixed immediately because it involved the fridge that has fresh seafood and poultry. Jose came within the requested timeframe, assessed the kitchen and the breaker, fixed the issue, and gave me a recommendation of what should be done to prevent another recurrence with a quote. Basically he came, fixed the issue, and left without a charge. He was punctual, knowledgeable, and humble. Will definitely call him again if something comes up in the future.

Showed up same day on time very professional and wearing a mask! We had a faulty wall outlet that was cutting circuit to other regions of the house. The wonderful technician was confident and fast. Took care of our problem in less than an hour and left the area he worked on cleaner than he started. Very reasonable prices and GREAT service. On Monday March 8, LR Electrical came out to give me an estimate for adding an electrical box over my dinning room table and hand a chandelier. Very small job, it would take about 1.5 to 2 hours to do. He said he would comeback and do the job on Friday March 12th. He called me 20 minutes before he was suppose to do the job and tells me that he cannot show up. I guess my job was to small so he pushed it back. I asked him Why did he not tell me this yesterday? He did not respond. He said that he could go out Monday March 15, but I said no thanks. I found another company to come out the same day and do the job. I do not mind that people are busy and have a lot of work, especially during Covid, but do not make a commitment to do a job and cancel 20 minutes before you are suppose to show up. It makes a person feel like their small job is not important to you.

Great experience with LR electrical . They installed 12 canned / recessed lights , added in dimmers, changed out our vanity lights and replaced the other ceiling lights in our home . They wore a mask the entire time and were quick in and out. Would highly Recommend

Wait, No 6th Star? Seriously, Jose couldn't be more Fair, Honest and Reliable. Something as simple as a Ceiling Fan install was still done with the care of a larger job. He and his team showed up on time, with masks and were very conscious about social distancing. They took care in covering our furniture and moving things so they could do the job they needed to do, all while be courteous to the women in the house (May not seem like anything, but trust me it is). Install went smoothly, and he was able to use existing electrical so I wouldn't have to be charged an extra fee. When all was said and done, the work, clean up and fan operation all were stellar. LR Electrical will be our continual go to, glad we took a chance on them.

Quick and easy!

Luis came to fix a light switch and he fixed it in under 15 minutes at a reasonable price.

On top, he even replaced the switch cover with a brand new one!

I'll be hiring him to change out our old lights to some new l.e.d.s

Gave him a message today, he arrived within 30-40 minutes no appointment . Came with his mask on , inspected my problem ( free consultation) and repaired it in less than 20 minutes . Great value highly recommended .Will surely use him when I am ready to install a 420v outlet for my EV car

Bad customer service. This individual confirmed an appointment, never showed up at the time indicated or bother to call and say that he was running late or not showing up. After I called him two times, he answer and seemed like he forgot about the appointment. Be careful, not reliable, wasted my time waiting for this electrician to show up.

Luis did great work. He installed a 240v outlet to charge my wife's EV. Our electrical panel is not on the same wall as the outlet and other places we're charging ridiculous amounts. Luis has very reasonable and affordable prices. He came for an in-person consult, walked us through what he'd need to do, and followed up with us a few days later. On the day of the job, he walked us through what he'd be doing again, then started working with his team member right away. They weren't intrusive, kept masks on the whole time. I asked if he could update some outlets for us and he was able to do so, again at a good price. Would definitely work with him again!
