Tradesman Electric responded to us quickly and gave us a quote over the phone. They made time in their schedule the following day to come service a job my wife and I thought we could complete. How hard can installing a few GFCI outlets be? Well not as easy as we thought. Toby the electrician came to the rescue. He was extremely polite and friendly. Not only did he repair, but he also installed the remaining GFCI outlets we were unable to complete. Great customer service! I highly recommend Tradesman Electric. We will use them again. Highly recommend!

The service from the owner, to the customer service and office manager, to the actual electrician (Reed), the service was world class.

Our electrical issue was troubleshot, investigated downstream impacts and risks, and a fix identified within minutes. Once fixed, everything was tested thoroughly, and the job was completed within an hour.

Something to help others when deciding from possibly other electrician companies, tradesman electric includes materials and replacement part included in their service rate/price. Other company's may charge you for the materials on top of their service rate, and may even charge you an additional 20%+ charge for restocking fees.

Again, this was an excellent service call and got us back up and running quickly, even while it's been raining.

The service was exceptional. After three visits by three independent electricians, all were unsuccessful. The first electrician took two days and about 10 hours to attempt to locate my problem, of which I had guided him to it, I also had to go to Home Depot to get some unnecessary replacement parts including unnecessary panel board breakers. On the first visit by Reed Hallett, he, after some of my basic directions to the problem area, located and diagnosed the problem within minutes and had my problem resolved and remedied within 20 minutes. The speed and efficiency of this remarkable electrician must duly be recognized. I do believe if you have any sort of electrical issue, Tradesman Electric, and my choice of electrician, Reed Hallett is a no brainer, you will be more that 100% satisfied. This company also recognized my military veteran status and gave me a 10% discount, bravo.

They did a great job upgrading my main electrical panel. On time, on schedule very neat work. Would be 5 star except they do not repair stucco after panel install so you have to find someone to repair stucco. Their recommendations for stucco work never responded. Would be better if it was a one stop shop.

Definitely recommend!! Dennis was great on the phone and got us scheduled so quickly. We had a long list of things to be repaired and replaced including smoke detector and 4 different ceiling fans. Everything was completed in a day and Toby and Nathan were so knowledgeable and helpful. Toby even checked out our panels as a courtesy to give us full customer service. For sure calling Tradesman Electric for any electrician help we need in the future!!

These people are quick and do good work! I've got an older home with some weird original wiring (that surely was not put in to code). When it rains part of my house goes dark and the circuit breaker pops (!!). So, I thankfully found this business on Yelp and the review were accurate. Very happy with their work (and they kindly recommended a drywalling company to repair the holes that had to be put in the walls to get the electrical work done).

Wow, from the scheduling process to the end of the install, this is a great team. I had several things done: 4 recessed lights installed in a room that did not have them, 7 recessed lights replaced, two chandeliers replaced (vaulted ceiling) a ceiling fan replaced (8 ft ceiling), and ceiling fan installed in a vaulted ceiling that was not yet wired.

The price was reasonable, the team was excellent that came out, and the support/scheduling contact was great as well.

On top of that, I gave them little notice as I wanted to squeeze them in before a drywall job and they rushed and scheduled me for the first available time.

Kenny and his crew installed two 50-amp circuits in our house to accommodate two NEMA 14-50 outlets, for our two Tesla Model Y car chargers, and fixed other miscellaneous electrical issues we had at the house. The moment I sent in a request through Yelp, Kenny contacted me right away. He was very responsive, patiently answered all my questions, and explained to me in details the process, in a language I could easily understand.

Many others responded to my search in Yelp, but for some reason, I felt more comfortable with Kenny. Firstly, because he was very patient. I didn't know anything about these outlets and how expensive they were to install, and we didn't even know if our electric panels would've been able to accommodate two 50-amp circuits. But Kenny, explained to me in details what needed to be done. Secondly, Kenny's prices were very reasonable and he worked with us to meet our needs, keeping in mind our budget.

Before providing the price quote, he requested pictures of our electrical panels, and asked us to describe where the locations of the outlets would be. From there, he gave us an estimate. He was upfront with the cost. His installation fee for each of the outlets were comparable to the other electricians. In fact, some came in higher.

Before cutting through the walls to run the wirings from the outside panel, Kenny explained that they would have to cut several holes through our drywall and asked if that was okay. He set our expectations properly and when they were done with the job, it didn't look as bad as I had imagined it, which made me feel so relieved. They did a terrific job! They tried their best to patch up the holes on the wall, and did a neat job!

The wirings to the location of the 2nd outlet ran much farther than we estimated, which drove the cost through the roof! I was so nervous when Kenny told me the final measurement 'coz I did the math quickly in my head and the result I got was an exorbitant amount. However, towards the end, Kenny worked with my budget and relieved some of the cost.

Overall, Kenny and his crew did a fantastic job installing two 50-amp outlets in our house! Their prices are reasonable, and they were upfront and honest with the costs. Kenny is very friendly, very easy to talk to, and he'll work with your budget.

I couldn't get my GFCI receptacle to work. I submitted my problem with pictures to Yelp to get service estimates from electricians. I was being sent quotes from $125-$185. Tradesman was the only one who called me and offered a couple of troubleshooting tips to help me figure out why it wasn't working. He noticed in the picture that pressure plates were available on the new receptacle and told me to place the wires under the plates rather than wrapping the wires under the side screws. I watched a few YouTube videos prior to doing the work and none of them mentioned pressure plates. This change got my new outlet working. Thanks for the great advice and saving me $$ for what turned out to be a simple problem.

I found Tradesman Electric on Yelp and was quoted a price to rewire old fluorescent lights to use LED. Two electricians, Nick and Tony arrived on time and commenced work.

An hour later they discovered that one fixture required replacement and the job could not be completed that day as fixture needed to be ordered.

Rather than leave me without any light at all, the 2 men put the old lights back in. Total time worked was 2 electricians, 90i minutes each for 3 hours total. My charges were nothing! A less scrupulous company would have blamed me for the bad fixture--but not Tradesman!

Nick returned today with Joshua and quickly completed their work with barely an up charge on fixture they replaced. And they apologized to me for the delay! New LED lights cause kitchen to be so bright that I won't need glasses to read my recipes.

IMHO, Tradesman Electric displayed integrity, professionalism, and competency in their work. I will use them again and refer to my friends without hesitation.

I had an whirlwind of random issues plaguing my house built in the 70's with it's aluminum wiring. Dennis was great working with me on options and figuring out next steps. Unforeseen issue popped up and the rewiring project was put on hold.

Though we still had surges that killed a HVAC, Refrigerator, 2 coffee machines and various tabletop appliance's. Even after 3 other electricians came to troubleshoot. We also had some outlets that needed upgrading. Dennis didn't hesitate and asked if I could schedule at a different time since he wanted to send one of his more seasoned electricians out, and I glad he did!

Carl and Ricardo showed up later that day, Carl took the time let me explain the situation and gave me 100% of his attention. While Ricardo started on the outlets. Carl, let no area unturned as he was troubleshooting the endless possibilities. In about an hour he was able to narrow it down and found the issue with some wires that melted in the panel. Keep in mind that 3 other electricians came out and never found the issue. Carl needed a part, took off to pick it up and repaired it.

The care and respect my family was given during this time was amazing. The commitment both displayed while working has earned a customer for any other electrical work. Thank you again!

We had a problem with our internet and our provider told us we needed an electrician to install a new cable line from where our router was to our master bedroom. Kenny came out for an inspection. He was very helpful and informative about what he was looking at. He also proposed to call our provides to get more information. It turned out the provider will send out their technician, and Kenny was supportive about this decision.
Before going I asked him to check a switch that for unknown reasons stopped turning on and off the light and he did it as part of the free inspection. I appreciate that Kenny wasn't pushing for doing the job at any cost, but he was very honest and he spent time to understand why and where the problem was.

I could not be happier with Richardo and Nathan S. from Tradesman Electric.
I hired Tradesman Electric about a year ago to install a ceiling fan in my son's room. About 10 months later I had to buy a replacement remote for it and the fan started acting up. I figured it was the new remote pairing with it, but being electrical and in my son's room, I called T.E. to come back and make sure everything was safe.

Nathan and Richardo came out and did a full inspection, confirmed everything was right and safe and assured me it was better to be safe than sorry. These two were so professional and worked so well together I hired them to come back today to install new recessed lighting in our kitchen.

Again, they are beyond professional both in how they treat customers and the quality of work they do. I don't know if they always work together but if you need an electrician, see if you can get these two.

I will jump ship and keep hiring these guys if they ever go elsewhere.

Super responsive and flexible. Need ti replace a wall heater for a rental. They quoted a fair fixed price, scheduled with tenant and the coordinated payment with me. Others I talked to wouldn't do a wall heater or required a fee based quote first or just didn't call back. Tradesman was great.

Also, I had used them several years prior to install some can lights. Again, they were fast flexible and fair ... plus quality work.

The whole process was super easy. I requested a quote via Yelp. They got back to me with a fair price quickly and scheduled the work for the next day. The tradesmen that came out were courteous, cleaned up after themselves, did the job quickly and it looks great. I just needed an outlet added behind my television so I didn't have to have any more wires hanging down they were in and out within an hour. Got the job done TV is back up and we are ready to go.

Messaged Tom the owner and gave him an update on the electrical issues my mom was having. He was very quick to reply and provide a quote of the cost to come out and the time it included to assess the situation. I asked for a morning appointment on Tuesday to which he offered a 730 am which would be perfect.

Overall:
I ended up not needing his services after all as a friend came by to address the issues. However, if I ever need an electrician again I will most definitely call The Tradesman Electrician. Tom struck me as very professional, responsive, and friendly.

They did a great job and were super professional. They installed recessed lighting for me in a ceiling that didn't have electricity to it. They minimized (as much as possible) damage to my ceiling as of course it had to be cut. The lighting took around 6 hours and is wonderful. They also took down a chandelier, put up a ceiling fan and had to brace it.
Dennis, Reid, and Alex were a great crew; very professional, friendly and wore masks the whole time. They also cleaned up after themselves
Their prices were very fair. I got quite a few estimates and they were right in the middle.

I requested a quote of something that I Thought would have been an electrical issue. Rory responded right away and took the time to diagnose the problem and was very honest the whole way through! So honest, that he told me that it wasn't an electrical issue at all and that I would need to get an HVAC specialist (there are a ton of wires and what not all packed in with and next to the AC) ! We had Tradesman come out previously for info on installing an EV charger and were very impressed by the service and information provided by the technician Reed. When we needed a new transformer installed for a Google Nest doorbell, we knew which electrician to go with. Reed came out again and installed it no problem. I was so down and stressed, dealing with another set of contractors (morons) working in my yard. Then, when I hired Tradesman Electric for an outdoor low voltage lighting job and saw them do their job, it was so soothing and calming to my soul. Reed came over and gave a quote which put out some fire because the previous quotes were outrageous. Then, when Jasbir and Ali completed the job, I felt ecstatic. In recent years, especially after moving to Orange County, this is my second experience with conscientious people doing the job. Most of them want a lot of money for sub-standard job. Jasbir and Ali were very understanding to my needs and patient to listen to me. They did such an excellent job, beyond my expectation. So meticulously done. I think I am going to add Tradesman Electric to my book so that in the future I don't need to shop around for any electrician. Thank you so much. One constructive criticism: two other technicians (don't know their names) came before them and told me it is impossible to do the job this way. May be Jasbir and Ali should train them.

I had Tradesman Electric install a EV charger in my garage. The circuit box was on the side of my house so they had to go thru my living room/dining room to reach the garage. They made as few cuts as possible into the drywall. They prepped very well and cleaned up meticulously. All the openings were taped up and I was even given the name of a drywall repairman. I have had plumbing leaks and walls opened up and never had anyone cover the openings, so I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was completed professionally. They are officially my go to for any electrical needs. Thank you for doing such a great job and taking good care of my home.

I needed to have some LED lights installed in a rather precarious spot. A high ceiling in a stairwell. The Tradesman Electrician came to the rescue! Kenny was on time, polite and did a fantastic job!

SUPER happy with their services! I was able to get same-day services after chatting with their office person today via the phone. The electrician that came out was very polite and got right to work on replacing our old busted doorbell with a new one I provided. They let me know what the cost would be upfront, and their use of modern technology regarding payment is a plus for me. I got an invoice/receipt almost instaneously, no hidden charges.

I had a circuit breaker that tripped, that wouldn't reset. I called Tradesman Electric based on favorable Yelp reviews. Jas Bir & Alex from Tradesman Electric arrived promptly at the scheduled time. They were professional, friendly, & knowledgeable in their profession. The problem they resolved wasn't easy to locate as it was a bad connection in one of my outlets that was causing a short that caused the breaker to trip. They methodically troubleshot the problem & resolved it to my complete satisfaction. I will definitely call on them again when I need a skilled electrician.

Tradesman Electric deserve more than 5 stars. I had reached out originally to swap out two light fixtures and a chandelier. From the beginning of the interaction the communication was efficient and responsive - they give you a time when the technicians will come out and send you a text when the technician is en route.

I scheduled for them to come the same day and it turned out that I had bought a light fixture that was too short for the chandelier so we did not change this one out and they were honest about what kind of fixture would work with the 20ft ceiling ( so this has no reflection on them other than that at least they did not try to make it work when it clearly would not). Joshua who changed out the two lights was on time, explained what he was doing, did everything to a high standard and even cleaned up afterwards.

While we were talking I asked what else they were able to help me with as I needed some smoke detectors installed, swapped out as well as a Ring doorbell, Ring cameras and floodlights. Joshua let me know that this would be something they could help with. So I communicated with Roy at the office (who was the same person I had scheduled the first appointment with) and got all the details of what I needed installed over so that I could get a quote and we booked the appointment for the next business day.

Joshua and Jasbir arrived earlier than the estimated time, we went through what was on the quote, the locations where the items needed to be installed and they started working. Throughout they kept me informed of what they were doing, asked me for my feedback and input, troubleshot some issues and completed everything perfectly!!!! I fully recommend Tradesman Electric for everything that they offer. You will be extremely happy.

For reference I had a Ring Doorbell, Ring Floodlights with Camera and 6 Smoke Detectors installed and or swapped out.

He was really helpful and broke things down so I could understand it easily and was able to answer all my questions.

I have watched enough YouTube electrical demonstrations to be dangerous. When replacing some outlets, I got hung up on one part of the project. So I decided tag-in Tradesman.

My first interaction with them was when Alex came to the house and help me find a loose neutral. He was passionate polite and most importantly to me, on time. He took the time to explain to me some of the things that would help me on my next DIY project. After I explained that our house is over 30 years old, I asked him to take a look at our electrical panel. After inspection he realized it was time to replace it. One of the electrical buses was burned and the panel was no longer safe.

Six days later we I had the pleasure of working with Denis and Patrick to replace the electrical panel. They were also very professional, and precisely on time. The install went smoothly and now we don't have to worry about that panel for many years to come. Carl and his team were able to fix & repair my microwave circuit to my main panel which caused loss of power throughout my household for a couple of days. I was needing a new panel and some electrical issues worked throughout our older home and was searching for an electrician. After reading the reviews I took a shot at Tradesman. Right from the start Tim from customer service was professional and helpful. Then Carl came out to look over my existing panel and trouble shoot some of my issues. Again Carl was professional and willing to answer any questions. For installation Carl and Rory did an amazing job. Very pleased with the panel and effort they put in to label it. Carl came by for a follow up for some of my other electrical issues and worked through them. He ensured my electrical problems were gone and again was impressed with his knowledge and ability to troubleshoot and resolve.
It is always great to find a company that you can feel comfortable with. I highly recommend Tradesman and plan on using them in future projects.

Deen and Matt were early to their appointment, professional and kind in their demeanor, and efficiently determined what my electrical issue was (faulty light fixture) and a fried / broken wire. They installed a new switch and removed the faulty chandelier relatively quickly and were kind to explain everything as they went. I appreciated great communication: text confirmations of the appointment and a notification when they were on their way.

They set up the lighting for my garage gym a few months ago which has been great, especially with it getting dark in the evenings now. They also changed my front door ceiling light (one of those kit types). That front door light took a lot of unexpected additional time and effort because of technical issues ... and for which they did not charge me extra for. First of all I feel I owe you five more stars. I needed to have the electrical panel replaced and updated. Additionally, there was the replacement of outlets, light switches and the installation of recessed lighting in several rooms. After Reed came to see exactly what needed to be done, I was given an estimate and a date was set to do the work. Everyone was here on time. Work was started immediately. Prior to the installation of the lights, I was consulted as to the placement. They needed to come out again as some parts had to be ordered. An appointment was set up and Nick arrived on time. While Nick was here I asked about a problem I was having. He checked out the problem, it turned out a couple of wires had been crossed and Nick was able to easily correct the problem. Prior to leaving, Nick checked that all outlet and switch plates had been updated and the work was completed.

A final comment, all contact I have had with The Tradesman Electric, has been positive. Everyone I spoke to was knowledgeable and very forthcoming with the information I was seeking.

I would use their services again and highly recommend them.

I did a quick search on Yelp for an electrician and contacted Tradesman Electrical to fit four ceiling fans in my home. I called the office number and spoke with Tom Snr., a very knowledgable and helpful man who took my details and promised to call me back after discussing the job with Tom Jnr., the owner of the company. Tom Snr. called me back promptly with a quote, a date and a time for the work. Then Tom Jnr. called me to ask if he could come a day earlier as they had an opening!
Tom arrived promptly at 7.30 am as promised, with an army of very attentive, polite, and hardworking young men who quickly prepped the areas after placing drop cloths and foot traffic mats. They completed the work swiftly and professionally with constant direction from Tom.
I would highly recommend these guys to anyone needing electrical work and I will certainly be calling them again.

The first word that comes to mind when thinking about The Tradesman Electrician is honest. I called the dana point location to have my panel upgraded for a new pool. To upgrade a panel could cost around $3,000. Tom immediately asked for photos of my existing panel, he was able to highlight where I could change out a few switches to accommodate the power needed for the new pool. So I had an HVAC guy dealing with low voltage on my AC breaker, which was a dual breaker with the oven on the other side. The HVAC guy was able to swap the breaker and then said he had unexpected readings on the oven line so he didn't want to connect it, call an electrician. I was looking for an electrician and came across The Tradesman Electrician and thought I would give them a try based on the other reviews. I wasn't disappointed either. I was able to set up an appointment fairly quickly (none emergency issue) and they showed up with their mask on (which I appreciated). Nice guys, clean, and felt like they were very honest. The problem ended up being a little bigger than expected, so a different electrician came out the next day and had a positive experience with him too. Hopefully, I don't have any more electrical issues, but if I do I will call the Tradesman Electrician again.

Setting up an appointment to put in some new electrical outlets was easy but required a bit of phone tag.

Brandon arrived on time (actually early) to install electrical outlets in some odd locations which we thought would require damage to the drywall. He worked miracles and got them installed without any blemishes to the walls. He was professional, courteous and efficient as well as just being a all-around great guy. The price tag for the work was very fair.

Carl and Reid from The Tradesman Electrician installed new outlets, on new circuits in the panel and moved a light to a new location in my garage. They were very professional, explained everything they were doing and why they were doing it. The work required some cutting it to the wall board, but they minimized the amount and the impact. In fact they repaired it as much as possible so I will have minimal work to repair and paint. They also did a great job of cleaning up. As this was a garage they installed the wiring in conduit but hid it as much as possible. It looks clean. I really appreciate their work. I would highly recommend this team from The Tradesman Electrician.

Also the estimating process was very easy. I provided pictures and they gave me a detailed quote over the phone. What I paid is what they quoted. Very great experience!

This is an addition to our review of 6 years ago. We had the Tradesman team back out to help with a number of electrical items. We had some 12v ceiling lights that stopped working when we tried to install LED mr16 bulbs. We had other rooms that had intermittent blinking from LEDs, a room that didn't have a working circuit breaker and an outdoor plug that needed to be replaced that had a broken box.

Dennis came out and took care of everything. In the process, we decided to just replace all the can lights throughout the house (33 in all) with new 120v LED lighting. Dennis and his assistant Rory did a phenomenal job. Corrected all the issues, installed our new lights and ceiling fan and even replaced a set of old electric plugs, even one outside!

The Tradesman is still the real deal. Great expertise at a fair price. Thanks to Tom, Dennis and Rory!

Just closed escrow on a home, and had received some feedback on the home inspection that made me curious. Not being an electrician, I immediately turned to Yelp for my research to locate a business in my area that would fit my needs. The search linked me to Tradesman. Tom and his team were extremely responsive. After consulting with Tom, Dennis was assigned to inspect my home. Within 24 hours he was out looking over the property. It turned out that my thoughts were confirmed. I needed a new panel. Alex was on time, very polite and thorough in along questions about the work we were looking to complete.
This was a small, half day effort, but we were treated like it was a very important, big project. He clearly takes pride in his craft.

Office was quick to respond and communicate.

However, reducing 1 star for to the number of times I had to repeat the work to be done with the office staff. Despite sending pics I had to repeat at least 4x. And we were almost scheduled for a two technician day\rate. But the job was way smaller than that.

Again, the overall service we received was excellent, and when our next project arises, we will be coming back to Tradesman Electric for quotation.

Thank you for the excellent job finished at my house today by the Tradesman Electrician Team. Ben and his helper installed fans the way I wanted and I am looking forward to have the Electricians back to do my TV mounting and cables wired through my fireplace and cabinet. I hardly write reviews. When it comes to urgent thing, someone would try their best to work for you. Tom who is the owner responses Yelp message very fast on Sunday night. My refrigerator outlet has shortage and I really need it to be fixed no later than Monday. Otherwise the food will go bad without cooling. This is the only electrician you'll ever need! We were so impressed with Tom's passion for what he does and the job he did we didn't even get multiple bids for our re-model. His pricing was fair and transparent. He was so thorough and knowledgeable with what we needed all while being patient with our questions and when it came to delivering what he said we found him to be trustworthy too! Multiple years later, many many referrals, he still takes the time to personally return phone calls to help us with service maintenance issues that are usually solved in the spot! Very highly recommended!

I recently hired an electrician to install an outlet behind my wall-mounted television to hide the cables/cords and to move an existing outlet. I can't imagine being more satisfied with the result.

It was very easy to book with Tom over the phone. He explained everything very clearly and gave me an accurate quote for the work. Benjamin was the electrician who handled my task and was wonderful. He was prompt, worked efficiently and even surprised me by cleaning up very thoroughly when he was done, using wet wipes and a ShopVac. He also screwed the pieces of drywall back in very neatly to make the repair easier for the drywaller.

The price seemed a teeny bit high initially but to know you're getting such professional work completed in a timely fashion is absolutely worth it. My father-in-law, who regards himself as something of a jack-of-all-trades, came out the next day and took a look at the work. He was very impressed. I will definitely look to The Tradesman again if any additional needs come up.

This is an amazing business. We first encountered The Tradesman Electric last July as a referral from another very professional and knowledgeable tradesman, after a HVAC installation. Tom, Ben, Rory and Cesar had done a fantastic job at updating our kitchen electric and in the installation of a laundry light and panel update. We really appreciated the attention to detail and safety that Tom and his team demonstrated.

That being said, we did not think twice in using The Tradesman Electric this week for updating can lights, wall switches, fixing a loose plug-in socket, installation of a new light in a powder room and updating our powder room exhaust fan. We again appreciated the detail and focus on safety that both Reed and Rory demonstrated; they were both very courteous, professional and knowledgeable. We appreciated how Reed observed the discoloration of our smoke detectors and explained why we needed to replace them. After a recommendation from Rory, I was able to make a quick trip to Lowe's and purchase the smoke/CO2 detectors for hardwired installation. Reed and Rory were able to add the detectors to the installation without blinking an eye. Their concern for safety was very appreciated. Rory and Reed were efficient and collaborative and both were excellent communicators. We don't often write reviews but we appreciate it when tradesmen are good communicators and collaborative with the customer and, therefore, highly recommend their service.

We also appreciated Rory and Reed adhering to the Covid-19 guidelines and their inquiry to any additional Covid-19 request we may have.

Thanks to Tim for being so efficient and prompt in getting us a written estimate and making a prompt appointment.

I had such a wonderful experience with this company! After being completely blown off by another local electrician I called Tradesman Electric to install a conduit for a security floodlight. The owner was extremely polite and knowledgeable and was able to quote me over the phone.

Brandon was the electrician who came to the house. He was even a little early and was extremely nice and easy to work with. The price he charged matched the quote, which was extremely reasonable. He even offered some insight into a faulty dimmer switch at no additional charge. Brandon was done in less than an hour and it looks flawless.

As a small business owner and landlord you encounter everything from minimal to significant issues just about everyday and typically the only solution is to spend everything you have to keep up and enjoy a little down time with your family. Tom at The Tradesman Electrician in RSM was nice enough to provide an over-the-phone evaluation and understood my newly-installed issue with our over-the-garage motion enabled flood light without much thought. He was kind enought to mention that a visit did not warrant a technician to spend 10 minutes to fix a common issue and sure enough I had the light up and running within an hour and this saved us an expense at a time that my family needs to mosly focus on the School budget and prepare for everything else. It truly saddens me to write this review.

I used this company to upgrade my electrical panel a couple of years ago. I mainly dealt with Tom, Sr., who was prompt, polite, and followed up and fulfilled everything he said he would. So when it was time to have a light fixture switched out in my two-story dining room, it was a no-brainer that I would used them again.

I contacted Tradesman on 2/26/19 to get a quote for the installation. Tom, Jr. left a voicemail saying he would need a photo of the job area, which I forwarded to him via text. He texted back that he needed a photo of the fixture to be installed, which I sent the next day, 2/27. On 2/28, having heard nothing from him, I sent a follow-up text to make sure he got the requested information. No response. On March 2, I sent ANOTHER text, saying that I was still waiting to hear back from him. Two days later, on March 4, he texted me apologizing for the delay and saying he would call me later that morning. It is now March 6, and still no contact from Tom.

Was my job too small? Is he too busy? I guess I'll never know, because I have hired someone else to do the job.

Horrible. They sent an unlicensed personnel to my house. He comes with no equipment, leaves for an hour to do I don't know, and then I see him trying to sell work to my neighbors. I pulled the personnel list and only Tom is listed, not sure why a Benjamin was working on my house. No one from there is returning my calls. Brandon and Walter did a really professional job installing power above our 3 TVs, installing a ceiling fan, and fixing one of the faulty outlets in our atrium. The entire process only took a few hours and the results were exactly what we wanted. I was able to mount all my TVs without issue the next day.

I called Tradesman Electrician back for another visit to add another outlet in our bathroom and Brandon was able to install it without tearing down any drywall. We were overly impressed with the overall work from Tradesman, the flexibility in their appointment scheduling process, and extremely affordable prices. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Alex was dispatched to my house to help me after an outside GFCI outlet malfunctioned and the new one that I installed also had issues that kept changing as time progressed. Alex was able to troubleshoot the issues while explaining to me in detail what the issues were and how they could be fixed properly. It's difficult for me to say something negative about Tradesman because they did tremendous work for us. Everything from phone conversations, their work ethic and professionalism was A+.

I called and spoke with Tom Sr. to upgrade our sub panel box, install a 3 story wall fished conduit run for a solar panel install as well as install a 40 amp circuit in our garage so we could install a car charger for our new electric car. Tom Jr. and his crew came out as scheduled and did a tremendous job with everything from installation to cleanup. Judging from other quotes we received, they were priced a little higher but their work quality more than made up of it.

My only complaint was that we weren't properly informed that the sub panel upgrade required a permit as did the conduit run. I won't go into details but it caused a couple permit issues that we're still dealing with 3 months later. I can accept responsibility for not knowing about permits when doing this kind of work but it is disappointing to have contractors not openly discuss this city requirement. Particularly when I would have been more than happy to pay to have them acquire them for us.

After an inspector told us we required a permit I spoke with Tom Jr. and he offered to speak with the inspector that day to rectify a city code issue but I've never heard back. So I am left alone to deal with the permits myself.

I love the work they did but this has left a sour taste and I probably won't be using them again.

A couple of weeks ago I called to have some outlets replaced in my house and have a wall outlet put in for a new TV being mounted. After talking with Tom (great guy) Brandon showed up and was great keeping in touch with me to let me know he was on his way.

Brandon did a fantastic job and he had no problem keeping me informed on what he was doing and why. When it came to the TV outlet he nailed it when it came to mount my TV, perfect height and perfect place for the mount to go around.

I messaged 3 electricians and 2 got back to me quickly, including Tradesman. Between a busy week of work for me, Tom kept calling me back even when I wasn't able to answer and made a great effort to stay in contact and assess our situation before setting an appointment.

Tom Sr (father of the business) runs much of the office side of things and is incredibly knowledgeable. When he can't answer the phone, they have a messaging service that takes calls and gets customer info so they can respond in a timely manner; however my first encounter with the service was with a sassy younger lady who gave me some attitude. Nevertheless I still left my info with her and set an appointment. Later Tom profusely apologized and was annoyed that their messaging service did that - they only take messages and are not supposed to set appointments, only Tom does that. He worked hard to remedy the situation and work me into the fully booked schedule for the week, since my week was open, and they came the next day. (Note - I called and left a message with another rep from their messaging service later and had no issues).

Tom helped to assess our issue so he would know exactly what was needed before sending anyone out. Our home was built in 1967 and previous owners had done some Mickey-Mouse work here and there. We needed the microwave on its own breaker as it was currently wired to three other bedrooms and was obviously tripping the breaker each time, and the quote I was given was $975 for 3-4 hours work hardwiring the microwave to its own breaker. I also had 3 ceiling fan wall switches that needed to be replaced and a master bedroom switch to fix.

Brandon and Jerry were the two technicians that came to my home and they were great! First they checked out our older circuit board and suggested one of the breakers be replaced as it was ready to give up from being tripped so much over the years. Then they researched a newer 20V line that was on the board and it turns out it was a line to the microwave, so it was already done! These guys were honest and explained everything along the way instead of anyone else who could've taken advantage of the situation. Overall they were here about two hours after going through the house, checking plugs, and installing new switches, and even rebalanced and tightened up the ceiling fans so they would work better.

I will definitely give these guys a call again and suggest them to our friends for honest electricians! Thanks to Tom Sr, Brandon and Jerry.

We had tried to install a new front door light which should have been simple but turned into a few outlets not working in our home. Reached out to Tradesman and Tom S responded immediately. Luckily he was able to squeeze us in the next day. Tom arrived right on time and found the source of the issue. This was the second time I used Tradesman, and both times the technician did a great job. The first time was with a problematic ceiling fan, this time was to install a Nest thermostat and timer switch.

Scheduling was easy and Tom was very responsive.

Brandon did a really good job - he was timely, efficient and pleasant.

The only reason that I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 was because they raised their prices to a $285 minimum - which I think is too high if someone needs a smaller job done.

Tom sent out a crew to us in aliso viejo a few years ago to hang two chandelier lights. One needed a wiring installation, since we forget to put a can in there when picking out options. They did a great job for a reasonable price considering all the work and time they expended on the project. They even took a few seconds to look at a temperamental switch, at not cost which was nice.

Flash forward to 6 months ago, when I needed another chandelier hung with no wiring install since we had a can for this light. Tom was honest about his minimum and said it was not fair for me to pay out for such an easy job. He didn't leave me high and dry, instead he gave me the numbers to his trusted handy persons. They did a great job on my install, and Tom saved me money with his recommendation despite it being against his business interest. These guys are my go to electricians for all my future needs.

We have done tons of remodels and have had decent, good and great electricians but Tradesman was over the top fantastic. Brandon spent a lot of time before getting started to run through different options and the best way to complete the job. He wasn't trying to up sell me. He was great at trying to work with me to get value and be very satisfied with the finished product. This job consisted of installing recessed lighting on a vaulted bedroom ceiling, motion detection switches, motion detection lights and light dimmers. Back on Feb 19th, we discovered that the wiring got fried within one of the wall sockets in our living room. We requested a quote from one of the other electricians here on Yelp, and as we were completing the request, Yelp automatically prompted us with a list of 10 other potential electricians that we might also like to send this same request to. I didn't want to spend much time researching all the other options, but Tradesman immediately stood out because of the number of stars it in relation to the number of reviewers. So we let Yelp send the same request to Tradesman.

The next morning (Feb 20th), we received an email from Tradesman asking to connect by phone in order to discuss the issue. We were able to connect with them in the afternoon, and they said they could come out the next day (Feb 21st). The other electrician had also emailed us, but they told us in the email that they were booked until March 3rd! That's 10 days later! Crazy.

Anyways, this young guy named Jerry came out, and he was very helpful in explaining to us what had most likely caused the melt-down in the wall socket -- the space-heater at the end of the line of sockets which was overloading the circuit and slowly vibrating the wiring inside the wall-socket. Our GFCI outlet kept popping, but we (stupidly) kept resetting it and not investigating the cause. Too many times of doing that, and eventually, one of our sockets got fried.

Jerry also pointed out that, within our wall-socket, there were two different types of wiring spliced together -- I can't recall the two types, copper and something else. He fixed all of that up, and restored the wall socket for us. He also spent the remainder of the hour checking the rest of the wall-sockets in that line throughout the living room, to make sure nothing else was burned. So we only had to pay the base cost of the one hour of service -- something like $150 or $175, something like that.

I thought Jerry was very professional. He didn't ramble on and tell stories, but at the same time, he regularly offered tips or suggestions on how the electrical lines work in our living room and how we might be more careful about how we load them up. Great experience! Will definitely call them next time we run into trouble :)

I have to say normally when you have something wrong in the house it is simply terrifying to find someone to do the job right. Well I have to say you do not have to worry with The Tradesman. It is rare to find people so honest and hardworking.

We were having intermittent power on some of our plugs so we called them up and first they did was try to fix the problem over the phone, because they said they did not want to charge us if they could fix it on the phone, which is awesome. Sadly, are problem was a little more complex, as the wiring in our house is a mess, but they were able to get to the root of the problem. They are great and I will use them for any other electrical issues I have!

Why? I had a switch fail in my kitchen and replaced it myself. When i turned the electricity back on it still didnt work. So I got out my volt meter and checked and there was no power going to the switch. I called Tom to come and fix it. He explained his fees to me and after hearing what i did he knew i had some basic ability to fix things. He said I dont want you to waste your money on something you can fix. He proceeded to tell me exactly what was wrong, how it happened and how to fix it step by step, very patiently, until he was sure I understood. Today I completed what he told me to do and, sure enough, it works. He could have easily taken the call, charged me a minimum service call and made easy money. What he did just doesn't happen anymore. Next time I need an electrician i know darn well who im calling. I hope you will reward his honesty with your business too.

Thanks, Yelp, for a solid recommendation for a good, trustworthy electrician.

My attic fan motor died and the fan was noisily trying to switch itself on constantly.

I called The Tradesman based on Yelp recommendations. It's clear these recommendations have a lot of effect - they were really busy and didn't have an appointment available immediately. However, they were very professional on the phone and found me an appointment first thing the following Monday morning for a diagnostic visit.

Brandon came right on time and assessed the situation, confirmed the fan needed to be replaced and gave me an estimate. Then the company called back to schedule the followup work for the next day. Brandon was friendly, efficient and my dog fell in love with him. We swapped stories about how many parts of our homes our dogs had destroyed.

They company had an emergency situation the day my follow up work was scheduled. They called me several hours before the scheduled appointment to let me know they had to reschedule, so that I wasn't sitting around waiting. Any company can have a change of plans - it's all in how they handle it. Having someone at the office making calls and rescheduling makes all the difference, so I'm not deducting any stars for this. It could have been an inconvenience but as it happened it wasn't for me and I appreciated that they let me know promptly.

Two days later Brandon came back to complete the work. After examining the old fan and roof situation he realized he needed to do something different - install a new fan in a different location in order to avoid damaging the roof and requiring me to get additional roof repairs. He installed a gable fan instead of a roof fan, with no change to the estimated price. Again he was friendly, prompt and efficient.

Definitely recommend The Tradesman and Brandon to anyone needing work done.

Prices were not cheap but are not excessive. They do charge separately for a diagnostic visit and for the work done (they take something off for the visit but not the entire amount). Good work is not cheap. I felt the price was fair and in line with numbers you can find on Homewyse and similar sites. Actually it was a bit cheaper.

I was in need of an additional electrical outlet on a wall which didn't have one. Brandon came out and added the outlet. While he was out, he also fixed a switch for my air conditioning unit. I am very meticulous and everything came out perfectly!

While in my house, I asked for suggestions about the fluorescent lighting in the kitchen. Brandon recommended recessed lighting. I scheduled an appointment with Tom and Brandon came back out a few days later and completed the work. The recessed lighting really upgraded the look of our kitchen. I ended up replacing the bulbs with LED ones.

A week later we had Brandon come out again and install pendant lighting which we had previously ordered. While he was out for the pendant lighting, he added an outlet for a ceiling fan and uncovered two other ceiling fans which had been covered up by the previous owner.

All the mentioned work took place over the course of a week. In the end, all the work was done professionally and Brandon and Tom were great communicators. The prices were very fair especially for the quality of work and genuine service they provide.

I used The Tradesman to install 6 recessed lighting (pot lights). They did an excellent job and finished the work in a timely manner. I got three bids and they were market competitive and gave me a quote right over the phone. They moved furniture, made sure that no mess was left behind and gave excellent advice on how to design/layout the lighting. The best part was that Tom, the owner, stayed behind after the job was complete to show me how to patch the holes left behind. He basically did 95% of the patch work, even though they said specifically that they don't typically do the drywall work. And their technique was hands down better than the approach I would have taken. So I would recommend Tom and The Tradesman 100%. Fantastic completed work with great customer service.

The Tradesman Electrician's completed the installation of 5 ceiling fans in my house. Brandon and Jerry came to do the work and completed everything in less than a day and a half. I'd had other quotes for 3 days work before finding The Tradesman. Each day, Brandon and Jerry arrived early and worked quickly, quietly and efficiently to get the job done. I don't think those guys ever use the bathroom or need to drink any water!
When the job was complete, one of my large fans proved tricky for Brandon to balance 100%, so he called Tom (the expert) who came within 20 mins to help. Soon everything was set up perfectly.
After a few days of use, a smaller fan in my office started making noise. I suspected one of the screws had worked loose a little with vibrations. I called the office and Tom Sr insisted that I not try to fix it myself; they would correct it. First thing the next working day, Brandon and Jerry were back and fixed the job within about 10 minutes.
Very satisfied with the work and will call these guys again without hesitation next time I need electrical help.

We had them do work for us a few years ago...so take this with a grain of salt because I don't remember all of the details well. The work they did do was fine...maybe even good. I'm not an expert here so I can't say. What was done all looks nice though. We gave them some big jobs in our home and most of it was done. We also paid $500 or something like that for a map of some sort and all the outlets and the power to the different areas and never received it. There were other things that were never done as well that we paid for. There were also things that we would've paid for had he followed through with the things we asked him to do. I only write this review because we have a lot of work to be done again (some of which we already paid for to this company and wasn't completed) and I want to make certain I don't use this company again. The father was super nice on the phone...humble, salt of the earth nice. The son (the owner now I think) I'm sure is super nice (and probably just really busy) and I don't want to judge people but he just seems to me to talk a huge self-aggrandizing talk about himself and for a long time but then didn't apparently have time do do what he said he would do and what we paid him to do. I don't trust him much and will not have him return unless I had a big emergency and really couldn't find another company I liked better.

This one is about as no-brainer in terms of a glowing review as I can give. Safe to say, like most folks, there's always a degree of worry about bringing in an unknown/non-referred person to do any kind of electrical/contracting work around the house. They talk down to (or over!) you and you just feel icky when they're done. They've probably ripped you off, the seem put off that they even had to be there in the first place. At least that's been our experience. Not so here.

For reference, this was replacing two chunky lighting fixtures there were in awkward places in our home. We called a few different folks, thankfully we chose the right one. This was, I'm assuming, a relatively low stress job - but the location of the fixtures made it a bit odd. It's at that point, my wife and I felt, any other person on the job would say 'Yeah... I didn't know this is what we had to do.... we're gonna have to charge more' or make any other litany of excuses.

We gave him the description over the phone... Tom gave us a quote - and what he quoted was what was charged. Done and done. But what happened from start to finish is where the quality lies. Tom's disposition is exceptional - just a really good guy. While the job most likely took longer than he planned (he was here almost 4 hours), he was patient and deliberate in his work and in dealing with us... he wanted to make sure we were totally happy before he was done. The lighting looks stellar... everything works perfect. He was even cool enough to add his two cents about a doorbell issue we're having and if you're having any issues with it... gimme a call, I can probably talk you through it on the phone.

Overall - great experience and we can't recommend The Tradesman enough. If you give him a call and he's able to do the job - look no further. Any other electrical issues we may have in the future - he's our go-to guy and we'll tell anyone we know the same thing.

Don't be 5 minutes late to an appointment or you will be left without service - even if you are a repeat customer.

Solid work, had previous dealings with Tom, but today I arrived to the second part of a job that couldn't be completed the first time and because this office is 30 minutes away from my main office I arrived 5 minutes late from my appointment. Called the Tradesman office 5 minutes after I arrived (assuming Tom had traffic too) only to learn Tom had left. The explanation I was given was that they called my number but no one answered so they left. They didn't try to call my cell (If I am driving to an appointment, I wouldn't be able to answer my desk phone) and the reason I got was they don't have it on file even though I have received calls from them on my cell the last time we worked together.

Completely disappointed with this business and how they treated a repeat customer. (Seriously, 5 minutes?) Time to look for another electrician.

Called and left a message with our details concerning work we wished to have done. Within minutes a call from Tom came back and we hashed out details of the job (needed lamp hung in foyer and flat screen TV and sound bar hung on living room wall with wires run through wall to power outlets). My fiancé and I recently moved into our condo and we wanted to add wiring above our fireplace so that we could mount the tv and we needed several gfci outlets replaced. The phone representative was professional and helpful so much so that I was able to send him a picture and he was able to quote over the phone how much all the work would be (which was exactly what I paid), so there were no surprises or hidden fees. And I was so excited to learn that they could get this all done the very same day! Just 2 hours later, the technician Ben was on time, friendly, and super eager to answer all of the questions I had for him. He explained things very well in a way that I could understand what he was doing and gave recommendations on where to place the tv because he found studs in the wall. I happened to be doing housework and painting in the living room the whole time he was there and we ended up listening/singing songs together while we worked on our respective tasks. I would highly recommend this company and Ben the technician to anyone who needs an electrician and will be using them in the future to install recessed lighting.

These guys are great! This is the first time I hired an electrician to come to my house. I found them on Yelp and they were ranked #1 from all the 5 star reviews. They are legit. I spoke to Tom Sr. and he was great on the phone. He even offered me helpful tips to try to solve the issue over the phone to help me save money and time. But, unfortunately my issue wasn't a simple fix. The next day Jerry came to my home... he was on time, friendly and most importantly knew his stuff. After blowing out power to half my condo (fixing a faulty table lamp for my wife...hahaha) I called The Tradesman and was told I would get a call-back within one hour. In 20 minutes I had Tom Sr. on the line. He patiently walked me through the steps, over-the-phone, to see if I could reboot the power, safely, on my own. Bingo!

I wish I could one day meet Tom and his son to shake their hands. They run an excellent company and must take good care of their workers because their expertise and training is top notch.

The crew showed up on time, communicated with me thru out the entire process making sure they understood me. The crew installed outlets, recessed lights, ceiling fans, and bathroom vents quickly and did a great job. The crew made such clean cuts they were able to screw the cut out pieces of drywall back to the wall leaving me only minimal amounts of drywall patch up work.

I can only give The Tradesman the highest praise! If I could give 10 stars, I would! Tom, the owner, came out today with his apprentice and moved /hung a new chandelier. They also installed some pendant lights that my handyman had botched and I was sure could never be fixed. Installed dimmer switches and outlets. They were so pleasant, professional and clearly know what they're doing! I've already gave their cards to some of my neighbors. Brandon the technician was scheduled to arrive 3:00PM on 8-29-16. He came on time very nice man and we had a short list of things needed to accomplish. Each one he traced the problem and repaired it in the most professional way. Covered everything near where he was working so as not to get house dirty. I was completely satisfied with the work performed and for sure will use them again for my electrical needs. I used yelp and messaged several nearby only one responded but he not want to repair one item on my list and his price was high. Then I got a message from Tom Senior of Tradesman and he asked if we could speak next day. I gave my phone number he called said can do all on my list no problem and price very fair.
I suggest you contact The Tradesman Electrician direct and forget those other guys who are too busy to even call you back.

Don't you just dread when the time comes to find an electrician? Me too! Luckily, when we needed one, my husband found Tradesman. Tom was so responsive and completely thorough BEFORE he came to fix our problem. He asked the right questions and after a few pictures were sent, he was able to discover and fix our breaker/amp issue quickly. He saved us over $1,000 by suggesting to separate our air con units and utilized our pool sub panel to do it. Seriously - he could have made an extra $1,000! He checked the load on all the breakers to ensure that we wouldn't lose any power on any of our panels ever - (not sure if I used the correct electrician lingo) He serves so many communities as well -from Newport to RSM and everything in between! He explained everything clearly and concisely, so much that I feel smarter just from meeting him, plus he is a really nice and trustworthy guy - so much so that he will also be doing some lighting work for us on our outdoor living area. Best electricians around! I called tradesmen at the suggestion of a community website as well as by the yelp reviews. When you call, you get the answering service first, who takes your information and tells you you will receive a call between 3-5 pm that afternoon. Tom, the owner, called during this time and he is the one who schedules the appointments.

We had a couple of ceiling fans that didn't work and a couple of outlets that didn't work, both inside and outside. Tom explained that the service for this was around $150 and before he scheduled with me suggested that I go around and check the outlets, which he talked me through. I found this to be incredibly helpful and honest that a business owner would try to save money for the client first before coming out.
Sure enough it didn't work, and I had them come out. They were available within one day of me calling. Brandon was our technician. He was fantastic, on time and Quick to figure out what was wrong.. Fixed all of our issues and explained what the potential problems were. During his visit, we discovered that we will need to replace several of our ceiling fans which they can easily do. We also need to fix our outside floodlights which is another service they can address. These just require separate appointments.

I'm done looking for electricians - these guys are the best around. Totally fair pricing and very easy scheduling

Brandon was great - we will ask for him to come out and do our other electrical work.

I wanted to write a quick review about my experience with Tom. We had a problem with an outlet by our new fountain in the back yard. We would plug it in and the fuse would blow. We thought for sure it was an issue with the electrical. We called 4 places to get some estimates. Of the 4 we reached out to, only Tom took the time over the phone to walk us through the problem. Instead of coming out and charging us, he challenged us to do some homework before calling back. He spent 15 minutes on the phone walking us through different scenarios for the outlet. After testing his different theories, it became apparent that the pump in the fountain was the problem and not the outlet at all. Tom told me he would much rather see us save 100 bucks and try to diagnose it ourselves rather than have him come out and have to charge us for his time. It felt like we were back in the 1960's or something because he couldn't have been more kind and honest. As he said, if I help you now over the phone, you'll be more likely to call me when you really have an electrical problem. He's so right. I'm thankful we were able to work it out but I'm definitely calling Tom the next time we have a true electrical issue. His help and time on the phone saved us some money and won him over some new customers when the time comes. Thanks Tom!

I have been searching for a reliable, trustworthy, and GOOD electrician for many many years and I am so glad to have found The Tradesman Electrician via Yelp. I first hired them to install some exterior motion sensor lights and they did a very professional job with no exposed wires and no stucco or drywall needed to be repair what so ever! I had two jobs that required an electrician so I jumped on Yelp and found The Tradesman. Tom asked me some questions over the phone so he could come prepared for the task. He gave me a price and we organised a time that he could come out and do the job.
Tom and an employee came out, did the job efficiently, were very courteous and were happy to answer the many questions of my children. They stuck to the price quoted and all in all I'm a happy customer and there were no issues.
I would absolutely call Tom again if I need any further electrical work.

This is not the first time we have used the Tradesman Electrician. Tom does excellent work. This time was more of a safety issue with burning outlets in multiple parts of the house. He was quick to arrive and mitigate the problem in a safe and professional manner. We highly recommend him!

It's nice to find small business' that operate like this. I called regarding an outlet that didn't work outside on my built in BBQ area. Instead of just making the appointment and coming out he walked me through my home on the phone for almost 15 minutes so I could try to find the problem before he came out and charged me to find the problem. Who does that? He was on time, professional and knowlegeable. And of course he found the problem and promptly fixed it along with several other issues we had with some other electrical outlets. I will only use The Tradesman in the future for electrical issues and have referred him and will continue to do so.

I had an issue of my electric going out on a few outlets. After contacting this business after hours, I received a call back shortly afterwards from Tom who was extremely helpful. As it turned out, no dispatch was needed because Tom had shared a huge amount of expert advice that would prevent this issue from arising again. Very impressive since he was so generous of his time and didn't even earn a single dollar from me. You can bet that I will contact them in the future if anything else comes up.

I had a number of electrical projects that needed to be done but I delayed them until I saw the Yelp reviews for Tom & his crew at The Tradesman. Estimated costs & process were clearly explained on the phone. They arrived yesterday on time & I gave them the list of 7 projects I needed done assuming it would take more than 1 day. I needed 3 ceiling fans & 2 light fixtures installed & also needed an outlet & cable install above an upstairs fireplace. I also requested an analysis of my landscape lighting. Not only did they complete all 7 in a day but the workmanship was unbelievable & after completion it appeared as if the fixtures had been there for years. No dust, no dirt, nothing out of place. I highly recommend Tom & his crew & will never delay another electrical project. I will just call Tom.

5 stars on communications on the 240v 14-50 NEMA plug for my new EV. Filled out a quote on yelp and get quick response from Tom the next day regarding pricing. Very compatible and reasonable pricing compared with other electrician that TESLA website recommends. Electricians were courteous about running a little late and called my cell 30 mins prior to appointment. The job was clean and easy. I have a 200 AMPs electrical box with 2 free 50amps slots available. So they did a pop through on the back of my electrical box and install the 14-50 NEMA plug. Overall job time was around 80 mins. Tested the plug and it works like a charm! steady current inflow at 39AMP (27 miles per hour). Now I have juice for my EV. A very happy customer.

Found this electrician from Yelp. He was able to come out same day, even called to let me know he was on his way. Tom was very personable, answered all my questions, he had no problem having me watch and learn. Worked over an hour but did not charge extra. I am very satisified with his work and integrity. We were in the middle of a job and the original electrician just disappeared. After the Tradesman crew came in, we were glad the original guy took off. They completed the wiring, finished up the fixtures, and repaired the mistakes by the previous contractor. This company was amazing. They were honest and very professional. Tom took our call late at night to try and help us get our power back on. When they came out the next day he called to give plenty of notice, he was quick and very thourough. His pricing was very fair. I had been calling all over town to find a good, affordable and honest electrician and we found that plus ten times more! Tom and his crew were amazing! Not only did they do the electric hookups and conduit for our spa, they also put in a light fixture for our garage all for cheaper than the other electricians from whom we had received our cheapest quote! He gave me a quote and stuck with it without any hidden changes or complications. They were timely, professional and really care about their clients! We just moved into our new house and have 5 little kids so Tom took it upon himself to fix other loose wires that were hanging out of its conduit which, I noticed, other electricians in the past clearly had no idea what they were doing after seeing the Tradesman's work. What really impressed me the most was when I had to leave for work and left them to finish up in the backyard. When I came home l went outside to check their work and not only did they do a great job, the guys had cleaned up my backyard better than when they came down to the last detail of facing all our smiley face balls in one direction! We cannot wait for them to come back and hook up our spa when it arrives and find other projects for them to do!!! We highly recommend this company!!!

I finally found a trusted and honest contractor for electrical work. I had called Tom at Tradesman Electrician to get an estimate to fix the issues with my bathroom outlets. Tom called me back promptly on the same day. Instead of charging me over $150 for the estimated service work, he first walked me through some trouble shooting suggestions over the phone and help me diagnosed the problem and fixed it. Tom saved me $150 for the potential service work which was not needed for this situation. I will be sure to call Tom for any future electrical work. He is a pretty honest and trustworthy contractor. tom sr. extremely helpful and honest. walked me through some steps that might fix the problem, even though he could have just sent someone out and charged me (which we were perfectly willing to do). i ran through the steps, and sure enough, problem fixed. refreshing to deal with someone like this, when there are so many people out there who would take every opportunity to charge you for every little thing.

Nothing but praise for Tom & his crew. They came out here last year to fix a problem that required some rewiring and they and were great. Then this week we had a different issue and when I called them, Tom explained in detail how I could most likely resolve the problem without them needing to come out at all. I followed his advice and we got it sorted out on our own. Just awesome, I totally recommend them!

I hired The Tradesman Electrician to install a chandelier in my living room. From the moment I called to get a quote to the completion of the final installation, these guys were fantastic. Tom is a true tradesman in every sense. Since there was no light switch or electric wiring, I expected many holes on my living room wall which would require stucco repair. Instead, Tom used his great skill and craftsmanship and made no holes by going through the linen closet. My chandelier is glowing and I am grateful to Tom's great work. His assistant Brandon was awesome too. He made sure everything was put back in place and worked tirelessly to finish the job. I will definitely recommend these guys and hire them in the future for my electrical needs.

I had my kitchen lights go out. My home warranty company sent an electrician out who told me it wasn't covered and quoted me $500.00 to repair/replace the ballast. I called around for estimates to compare. I found the Tradesman on Yelp. They returned my call the same day and quoted me 1 hour of labor plus ($100.00) parts. They were able to get someone out the next day. Kyle showed up right on time, was very thorough in assessing the problem. He gave me my options for repairs along with the costs as well as some suggestions to avoid future problems. I had both ballasts and all for bulbs replaced for under $250.00. I couldn't have asked for better service.
