I'm a Homeowner in Harbor City. Discovered that there was a water leak in our water main between the meter and the main valve feeding our house. This was at around 4pm. I called another company at 415 and they said the typical thing. We can send someone out to check it out tomorrow between 9 and 11. So I book it. Then I call Robert at Good Guy plumbing around 425 and left a message. Within few minutes Robert called back. I explained the problem and fortunately he was close by and said he could come check it out within 15 minutes! Awesome! He showed up as stated and assessed our problem. I told him that I wanted this fix as soon as possible. He mentioned that he had another pending job the next day but would rearrange his guys to make it work. We were expecting them between 8- 830 the next day (water still leaking underground by the way and no I couldn't close that meter valve on my own). His guys showed up at 745 (early ) and got started. They were able to completely remove and replace the whole pipe between the meter valve and the house valve within a short period of time and with minimal impact to water outage! They were very professional And great at their job!
I definitely found someone I would call for all my plumbing needs in the future!

Spoke with Mike, set up a next morning appointment and the communication was excellent. Sends a courtesy text when he is on his way to let you know. Arrived early and talked us through everything. No surprises, we knew how much it would cost before we continued. Cleaned up afterwards, is professional and seems to know what he's doing. Absolutely would recommend, and would use again for future issues.

A pipe broke under my house on a weekend. The shut off valve at the street was rusted closed and the crawl space was flooding fast! V.J. Plumbing was the ONLY plumbing service that listed an emergency number. (!) Thank God. (Everyone else said Leave a message, we'll call you back on Monday.) By Monday we would have floated out to sea!
Thankfully VJ's son, Kash, answered our desperate call, arrived with a helper and did a very good job pumping the crawl space out; then fixed the section of broken pipe (while lying on a piece of cardboard amid the mud!) They returned later to replace the worn drainage system. Did a solid job on that too.
They know their stuff, explain options and are are very responsive: A great plumbing family!

I usually don't bother writing bad reviews. I'm a 74 year old senior that called them to repair my old central air furnace that was not heating. The technician said that he did not know what kind of furnace it was because the units tag was missing. Also rats had chewed many holes in my duct work which was a lie. He said that I needed the unit replaced. He said he could have a manager give me an estimate. About 1 1/2 hours later his manager shows up and gives me a sales pitch with a LIFE TIME warranty on a new unit for a cost of $23,000.I told him I was going to get other estimates. I called Bryants Heating and Air in Pasadena. They had to rewire my heating unit to test what was wrong because Nexgen tech had disconnected and pulled out all the wires . Bryant's tech determined it was a bad fan limit switch which is a part that cost about $130. NexGen is a sleasy company that can't be trusted. Their life time is only as good as their reputation and I would never
trust them from my experience. Their tactics are not a company that will be around in the future very long so what good is their life time warranty.

We had Barcena Plumbing out today to unplug our kitchen drain pipe running out to the main drain out front. Daryl showed up with a big smile and a hello. I showed him where the cleanout was and he went to work cleaning it out. Great job by Daryl, drain pipe running great again! I called their office just before regular closing time yesterday and spoke with office manager Teresa and she set me up for today. As with Daryl, both very were friendly and professional. They're pricing is very reasonable and honest, gotta like these folks.Thank You Barcena Plumbing, we will be calling them for all our plumbing from now on.

He did a great job for me.
Changed a kitchen and garage sink faucet.
The garage sink was old metal pipes and he modified to pvc much easier to unclog from now on.
Highly recommend.

I had a GREAT experience with Michael about 2 months ago. I called several plumbers, but Michael returned my call right away. I should have done my review right away because this was 2 months ago and my memory is not good, but what I absolutely remember is that he returned my call fast, did a fabulous job in my 4-plex, unstopping one tenant's kitchen sink AND the sink above her on the 2nd floor; then he changed out the bathtub faucet which was spraying wildly, PLUS after I saw that he did such a good job on those two jobs, I asked him to check the tenant's bathtub faucet across the hall and he once again he came through for me.... he knew EXACTLY what to do right away -- no trying to figure it out.
One of the things that made Michael so special, is that he had all of the parts needed on his truck and didn't have to go to the store and come back, which always runs up to bill .... but ALSO I want to mention that the 2nd tub that he replaced the faucet on, I had hired a different plumber the day before to fix it, but that plumber, who was very nice, but had a hard time trying to figure out how to fix it... he tried several different things, including going to the kitchen and seeing if he could use the trap door on the other side of the wall to get to the tub ... he finally settled for a repair that was a little better but STILL not working properly. I paid him anyway, but when Michael from AAA came the next day, he went right to his truck and replaced the faucet in MINUTES. Everything that I asked him to do, he did promptly and expertly AND TOP IT OFF WITH VERY VERY reasonable price.
Again last week I needed an emergency repair with another tenant who had a problem on a early Saturday afternoon. Michael called me back within minutes after he got off the freeway and apologized that he couldn't get to me until probably after 7 p.m. because he was on his way to a wedding. HOW CONSIDERATE IS THAT ... WOW! I didn't want him to rush his family outing so I wished him well and called another plumber who was able to come through for me.
Michael, at AAA PREFERRED PLUMBING is definitely a keeper ... and his lovely son was so nice to pitch in and help with the roto-rooting and final cleanup while Michael was working on the next job upstairs..... I LOVE to see family working together building skills for the next generation coming up. You will love this company .... (my reviews are usually 5-star or 1-star because I'm a little picky and don't like to give a bad review to someone, thinking maybe I am too picky -- so I usually only review the EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD or the real scammers,' and prefer to give the others the benefit of the doubt.

Alex was a live saver! In the middle of the night my pile line got backed up and Alex came to my rescue. The service was excellent, fast and very reasonable. By far the best plumbing service.

We were replacing our toilet and it turned out whoever installed it previously seriously screwed up the closet flange. Warren White was our plumber, he showed up same day, right on time, and managed to fix the flange with some clever plumbing and install my toilet while he was at it. Even gave me a quote before coming unlike most plumbers.

Dario and Nate showed up within the hour that I called. They were great and now I have a working sink again!

We had a backed up shower. Eric came out snaked the drain and found roots in the main sewer drain. We knew the cast iron lines under the house needed to be changed but didn't know how bad the clay pipes were from the house to the city's sewer connection. Eric explained the whole process and replacing and removing the cast iron pipes and installed new ABS plastic. Even had them replace some left over galvanized water lines with pex and copper. They were done in 3 days. Great workers and a great job. If we need plumbing work done in the future we will def call Eric.

Had a water main leak that grew into a huge water bill. Got a very competitive estimate from Tony's Plumbing and scheduled the job. The crew arrived on time (9am) and got started immediately. Sod pulled back, trenched, and cut tree roots that would block an alternate routing for the main. Main was repaired, sod replaced and yard cleaned up by 3pm. Edwin, Jose, Jimmy, and Robert provided great service quickly, cleanly, and a fair rate.

Never have I imagined being inspired enough to write a review for a service provider such as a plumbing company on YELP. I have only taken the time and felt it helpful to others to rate restaurants. That feeling changed after my experience today with Polansky Plumbing.
I called for a relatively urgent need to repair our toilet and called Cody (Polansky?) Cody was not like any other plumber I had ever called. He asked about the problem and stated exactly what the issue was likely to be. He also asked me to tell him exactly which model it was so that he could tell me if he had the exact parts potentially needed in his truck so as not to waste any time if he couldn't fix completely right away. He was clear about pricing and was very thorough, clean and quick at the same time. He even fixed an extra part for free (just charged for parts).
What was particularly striking was just how honest, friendly and knowledgeable Cody was and his prices were very fair and those are among the reasons why I will always call Cody first in the future. Thank you Cody. I highly recommend him and am happy to know that there are honest, hard working people in the world that earn a living being fair and knowing that honesty and well honed skills will earn enough repeat business that they will be very, very successful.

Owen is a true professional and extremely honest. I just moved into the neighborhood and LR services plumbing will be my first and only call with any issues going forward from here on out.
