I own a business in Beverly Hills that needed some electrical repair work.  Igal came and gave me a bid which seemed fair.  We added some things and took out some things at the beginning of the job and I expected it would be more, but it was almost twice what had been quoted.  It would have been nice to have known that the company was going to charge $50 per bulb to change out 29 florescent bulbs.  That price seems high to buy and change out a bulb.  The also didn't get rid of the old bulbs or some fixtures that they removed.  Just left them in the business.  It also took them a month to complete the job because they had other important jobs they had to attend to and they ordered the wrong covers to some of the florescent lighting fixtures which further delayed things.  
Igal is a nice guy and accommodating,  The work he did was done to my satisfaction with the exception of those items:
1. Didn't tell me up front how much additional work was going to cost,
2. Took way to long to finish the job.
3. Didn't get rid of items they replaced.  
4.  Pricing was too high to replace a florescent bulb.

These guys were great! Gave me an estimate over email with the use of some pictures.  They showed up quickly after estimate and rerouted an outlet in no time.  Fast, good price, reliable!  Would definitely use them again!

The whole Shok Electric team is spectacular. We adored Gloria who was meticulous with scheduling and billing and getting everything done efficiently.
David was punctual, communicative, conscientious and meticulous. On top of all of that, it sorta feels like your favorite uncle has come to do work on your house. Somehow you feel like they aren't just doing great work, but they are taking care of you. David, adorably, reminded me to lock my door every time he left, just like a good uncle would.
David installed two ceiling fans with boxes and redid wiring in our bedrooms and the work was excellent. Very clean and detail-oriented. There were a few issues with what I wanted vs the reality of what I could have. David was cool as a cucumber and a creative problem solver.
ETA: We also like that they accept Zelle, making the whole transaction easy peasy.

Nick was great!  Professional, knowledgeable, friendly and courteous.  He provided me with a free quote and solved the problem as promised.  I will definitely give him a call for any other items that come up.

I found three highly rated electricians on google/yelp. One could not commit to a day or time (which did not work for me). Another never called back. Go Pro Electric not only answered the phone but came the following morning. Omer was great. He gave me a time window of 9:00-11:00am, and promptly showed at 9am. He is knowledgeable, efficient, and kind. While fixing an outdoor light, he actually found that when they were installed by our handyman, they were done incorrectly in a way that could potentially cause a fire. I am thrilled Omer came. I will use him again.

Marvin was prompt.  He saw my outlet he told me there was nothing he could do for me because it was beyond repair.  He then took my $50 as a consulting fee and said he would send me an estimate to rewire my entire house.  I called another electrician, who promptly FIXED the outlet that Marvin said was beyond repair.  So, even though Marvin was prompt and nice, I felt cheated by him since he not only failed to fix my problem, but he also took my money and made me feel like I would need him for a bigger job in my home.  All in all, it felt kind of snaky.

I called USAmerican Electrical Services this morning and received an immediate response. I needed someone to come out immediately and he was there withing a couple hours to complete the job. Highly recommend him. Thanks again!

Edwin is a total pro he came over as scheduled and tripped a few switches and said its fixed. I told him wow I should of done that how much do I owe you for your trip, how about $20? He said its nothing its fine. Good honest guy!

This is an update to 1/7/2019 review. I have had several phone conversations with the owner of Spark Masters. During our last phone conversation he indicated that he could call the Police or get an attorney because my honest review was hurting his business. I am not the kind of guy that you want to make threats to and it really pissed me off. So here is the update...
I have already told you Spark Masters does not carry General Liability insurance. This protects any potential customer from any liability caused by the contractor. It is not mandated by the state of California but most legitimate business carry it or have the common decency to tell you that they don't. Spark Masters DOES NOT carry General Liability insurance.
This is the TRUTH.
Spark Masters also does not carry Workers Compensation insurance on its five employees since 2016, Gloria, Eric, Jose, Alex and Marco. All one needs to do is to look at the 30 reviews on Yelp starting 4/10/2016 with the review of Alex. It is REQUIRED by California state law that  all contractors carry Workers Compensation for their employees. All one needs to do to confirm this is log on to California Contractor License Look Up, type in Spark Masters C-10 electrical license number, go to Workers Compensation tab, click on to expand and you will see that since 2016 the owner of Spark Masters has certified that he has NO EMPLOYEES.
Spark Masters DOES NOT carry Workers Compensation insurance.
This is the TRUTH.
Now because Spark Masters has deceived and threatened me, I have filed a 23 page compliant with California Contractors License Board in Norwalk, CA. This was sent by certified mail today.
As I stated in my initial review, BE VERY CAREFUL when dealing with this company. This is the TRUTH too.

In closing, I would like to point out that the TRUTH is the ultimate defense and protection against any threats of defamation, slander or libel.

I hired Mario Castillo and crew to re-wire my house and install a subpanel in my garage over the summer of 2020 and couldn't have been happier with the Mario, his team, and the results.  Throughout every step of the process I was informed of timelines, effort, budget, and schedule. I would be sent text messages and emails with appointment times; Mario would always show up on-time - if not early - every time.  Mario showed up for an estimate and laid out options for work.  I was sent over an estimate that weekend.  

Mario's team was slammed with work over the summer and was able to schedule my home to be started in just a few weeks.  Luckily for me, they work fast and offered to start on my project a week sooner.  Mario's team was full of competent and experienced employees. On the first day of work I anticipated them to come in and get a lay of the land and let me know timelines -- instead Hector and Victor immediately got to work at drilling holes to rip out the existing wiring. They were incredibly nice and respectful of all of our personal belongings. We tried to make their lives as easy as possible by covering our floor with the painters paper suggested by Mario's email and covering our belongings with plastic to ensure dust doesn't get into everything.  I gave Hector the keys to the house and he gave me a phone call every week to update me on the progress made and work left.  Mario stopped by frequently to check-in and talk with me about the project.

They wrapped up the project sooner than expected, and scheduled the city to come out and inspect their fine work.  As expected, their work passed on the first inspection and I've been using electricity without worry ever since.  I couldn't recommend Mario Castillo Electric enough for any of your electrical needs.

Vasilii was good with communication and he let me know that he was running late. Reasonable pricing. Very professional. Replaced 3 recessed lights in the kitchen and installed 2 outdoor light fixtures. He also put up my house number plate for free. I highly recommend VS Electrical.

Steve came out same day and immediately knew why all our kitchen outlets weren't working . He fixed a bunch of issues a different electrician made . As a new mom , quick and reliable is a must and he was there same day , was in and out before my daughters afternoon nap ! Straight shooter knowledgeable guy . Thanks Steve !

Very professional and good group of people they know what they're doing they remodeled my bathroom in less than a week they have a lot of guys to come and finish the jobs quickly all of them are professionals and do what needs to be done fast and correctly I originally got the information from my cousin Who had transformed his garage into an ADU and I did not know they had A yelp account so that's why I'm leaving this review

Edgar was very courteous and helpful from the moment we spoke on the phone. He went above and beyond in helping us with our electrical needs and even gave recommendations for the next time we purchased lighting and gave us some safety tips. Zareh was professional, prompt, honest. Did a great job repairing our circuit breaker box. It was a mess from work done by a different contractor. Zareh fixed everything in a very timely manner, he was polite, cleaned everything up and his fee was very reasonable compared to others quotes we received (which would not have remedied our problem, btw!).
I would definitely recommend him!

I thoroughly recommend Coastal Services electric. Val and Adrian are excellent. They came today to run a cable from the router in the main house to the guest house, they were very very professional and went way beyond normal service expectations by ensuring that it all works properly. I would definitely use them again.

I have used Intelectric for over 10 years for my home and rental units.  I have found the owners and electricians to be incredibly professional and knowledgable.  They are meticulous in their work and estimates.  They are sophisticated and have yet to be stumped in situations that have involved sophisticated solutions.  In one property I own, they rewired the entire home.  You definitely pay for what you get and I would offer my unhesitating recommendation to  Mitch, Karen, Lori and Lorraine.  Excellent service.

Rick is amazing!

A few months ago he came over for a small job with a mysterious light switch. I wanted it to actually do something. We have an old house and so I didn't want to risk breaking something. He enlightened us that our light switch was probably for some sconces that were plastered over. We we're thrilled because this room needed more light. He dug them out and helped us install some beautiful sconses.

THEN, he just came over for a quick consultation. On a Saturday, he fit us in.

He doesn't BS you. He doesn't make you spend money you don't have to. He cares. He is refreshing.
