I recently had to find an electrician to repair some backyard landscape lights.  I started by searching yelp for an electrician in West Los Angeles.  West LA Electric popped-up in the search results and had good ratings so I called them . . . the whole process was quite simple, efficient, and fairly priced.  Eric Rubottom was the technician that the scheduler/office person sent to meet with me.  He was very patient and explained the repair in very simple, non-technical terms that made it helpful to understand.  Thanks West LA Electric and Eric . . . Celso came the same day I requested, and gamely went into our admittedly small crawl space to find out why two of our outlets stopped functioning. In less than two hours the outlets were back up and working. Very reasonably priced, prompt, and effective.

Just want to give a shout out to Yuri and his team I had a new 200w electrical panel upgrade installed and also had him update all my lighting fixtures and ceiling fans inside my entire home. The end product was amazing me and my family find ourselves just turning the new recessed led lights on and off because we are so happy with the work lol. Joking aside... his quality of work is great no issues at all with the building inspector when they came out to review the panel work, Yuri took care of the required permits and scheduled the inspection days after the panel was installed. I am grateful for Yuri as he is a good honest person who does great work. Highly recommend if you are looking for an electrician who truly knows his craft and will take the time to educate you as well on the work being done.

Pat and Leo were great. We needed an electrical line re-routed. They were available quickly for an assessment and again for the actual work. They were professional and efficient, and did high quality work. I will definitely call them again next time I need an electrician!

Jesse and Michael came on a Saturday afternoon after I found them on Yelp.

That morning, the tenant in our back house found a receptacle that had overheated and burned straight through the outlets. The breaker panel should have tripped but didn't. Jesse and Michael showed up and found that neither the front house nor the back house panels were properly grounded and they made both of the houses safe and ensured that if this happened again the breakers would work. Fast work, reasonable, friendly service, thank you guys so much!!!

Hardly spoke English, cuts corners every chance he gets, chain smokes and leaves with unfinished work

Yesterday, I was left stranded by my contractor with no power in my son's bedroom and part of my living room. They were using the outlet in the living room for their power saw to cut some wood when the power blew out. They left the job without a word about it and I had to wait until the next morning to follow up with them. I was a bit stunned that they left me hanging.

Anyhow, my contractor said he wouldn't be available until next Tuesday, which was unacceptable since we rely on using our AC unit for my son so he can sleep comfortably through this summer heat. I then read some reviews on Yelp and felt very confident after speaking to Manny, the owner, that he could get the power up asap. He also tried helping me reset the breaker by phone to save me from paying him. When we met, he was very polite, charismatic, and highly knowledgeable. I got all that just within 10 minutes of chatting to him too.

In all, they did an excellent and honest job and out in less than an hour. My son is finally catching up on his sleep this afternoon, since he slept horrible in the heat last night.
