I initially called Nathan of Madison Electric on a Friday afternoon after calling to arrange for an alarm system to be installed and being informed of electrical requirements of the alarm system.  We had just had early morning prowlers at our bedroom windows the prior night, so were anxious for the alarm to be installed.  Nathan was concerned and willing to have the job done as quickly as possible.  He and his workers were there Monday morning! After giving me a good price, the work began.  He and his workers were so polite, efficient, industrious, respectful and responsible.  They wore socks inside and cleaned up after themselves.  After recent renovations, one bedroom can light wasn't working properly.  The connection was tightened, and my dimmers were adjusted so that light was no longer glaring at night.  They were so very helpful, and I really appreciated that.  I am so grateful that such a polite, professional, industrious,personable, and  conscientious contractor is in our area, and I have YELP to thank for our finding him.  I will definitely call him for electrical work in the future.

This is one of the few reviews that I was not asked to write, I simply wanted to put this here for the several excellent jobs I had Marat and his team do over the past few days for a very large HVAC upgrade on my home. My usual electrician was no longer responsive from before and because of timelines, I had to find a new one and found MH Electric.

Marat initially came out to troubleshoot problematic lights in the hallway and  found a bad switch. Somehow, later that day the bathroom lights went out and he diagnosed bad wiring this time, offering to come out the very next day to fix it. He got that job done quickly and showed me before and afters with the wiring cleaned up well. The following day, because I was still on the hunt for electrical services for the HVAC upgrade, I contacted Marat again to run new higher voltage wiring for the new AC units.

He offered to come out and look at the scope of work and give me a price on the spot - it was fair and he managed to get the work done the very same day even though it was two extensive new lines and work on the outdoor fusebox. He checked in with my HVAC installer for specifications and the work was very clean and highly professional, even through a blistering hot summer day with no AC in the attic. I can't say enough good things about Marat's work ethic and responsiveness, it's rare to find a contractor who will respond quickly with zero fuss and zero runaround, arrives early, checks before working, and is careful and protective of one's home. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Before having my family room repainted, we wanted to move the ceiling fan to a more aesthetically-pleasing location in the room and wanted to replace a semi-flush mount ceiling light in the hallway with a recessed light.

I called AP Electrics, and surprisingly Jose answered the phone (no need to leave a message and wait for a call back).  He scheduled the work for the following week.  He and his fellow electrician arrived on time.  They installed  the ceiling fan box in its new location and took down the ceiling fan.  Jose informed me they could not convert the hallway light to a recessed light, but would put in a flush mount light when he returned to re-install the ceiling fan once the painters were done.

One month later, when the painting was finally completed, I called Jose again and set up another appointment to re-install the ceiling fan, install the flush mount hallway light fixture, install a dimmer switch, and disconnect power to some of the outdoor lighting.  Again, the two electricians arrived on time and completed the work efficiently and competently.

Jose is wonderfully responsive and he and his fellow electricians are professional, leaving us feeling secure about their competence and knowledge.  We highly recommend this company and will certainly call them again for any electrical work when needed.

Fast and easy from first call to completed work.

I have received the services of Scott and Co. on two separate occasions, spaced years apart.  I found the services to be very professional and safe.

I'm a tech nerd so the first thing I did after buying my house was have Scott wire up the closet in the guest bedroom and also add an outlet to the master bedroom wall.  I ran my servers in there for a while and all was well, but then I just didn't like that setup anymore (it was hard to ventilate) so I moved my servers to another place in my house with a more direct air current.  Not his fault, just me not thinking the problem through.  Either way, both outlets were done really nicely and I'm still using the outlet he did in the master bedroom.  This was quite a few years ago.  I think Scott was hesitant about the outlet in the guest bedroom closet and I think he mentioned something off hand about not wanting to wire up a closet if I were going to grow pot, ha ha ha.  I told him it was for many servers and he was cool with it.  I guess with electricity, there's always a risk.  Or it could be that he has morals.  I told my boss at work about this and he said his electrician said the same thing when he wanted his closet wired up (servers from an acquisition carry-over).  Either we both used the services of Scott, or it might be a common concern.  We thought it was funny.  No visible damage from either job.

The most recent job I asked Scott to do was more inclusive.  Now that I've lived in my house for several years, my wife and I were ready to add outlets in places where we needed them the most.  I asked him to add 1 outlet in the living room, one in the kitchen, one in a small cubby hole next to my fireplace (for 3D printing), one in the guest bedroom, and a really tricky one over the fireplace for a clean install of my TV.  They installed the outlet (because they are good at that), I installed the TV (because I'm good at that).  The outlet over the fireplace required some exploratory work, but no visible damage.  Not sure what they did on that one.  Also, while doing an inspection, he told me that I had two outlets outside that were not GFI and could kill me if I used them improperly.  To be fair, that's what the house inspector said, too.  So I basically said what the heck and got a large swath of all my electrical work and wishlist done at once.  It came in slightly under a thousand dollars.  Not bad for a two day job.

They did a terrific job.  I will always ask that Scott do my electrical work.  They seem pricey, but so do electricians in general.  High quality work.  Friendly people.

Vartan and his team performed an upgrade of our main panel from 60A to 200A. Vartan coordinated all the steps required by the city including the permit and final inspection, and he did so with incredible diligence. We are so pleased with the quality of the work, the great communication, the fair price, and the extremely punctual service. We will continue to use East West Electric for all our electrical work and will recommend them highly!

We didn't use Penna Electric for our hot tub installation, as we ended up going with a bundled install for the hot tub, but my experience with Penna Electric was nothing but top notch. Todd showed up precisely on time, and made complete and accurate measurements. We discussed various options for running the line, and he gave us a bid that fully explained the work, what was needed, and what would be done.

I couldn't recommend them enough, and the next time we have an electrical issue they will be the first people we call!

Joel and his family did a job job at diagnosing an ongoing electrical issue that we have been having, the power was going out for a split second, 10-15 times a day, which was knocking out the computers and modem, no fun if you are working from home.

The crew were all punctual, clean and friendly, Joel was great at showing us the issues and explaining the problem. We have an older 1920's house with a tiny attic access panel and a low flat roof, unfortunately for them, that is were they had to work. They were able to diagnose and repair the issues that we were having, Joel even switched out a cracked light switch faceplate and added a cover to an outlet that was missing.

This is the second time that I have used them, the first was for a Ring Floodlight Camera install, both appointments went well and they will be my go to guys for electrical issues. Thank you!

Hector and his team provided superb service and really set the bar high for electricians. Professional, on time, and the cleanest work I have witnessed. I bought a 1200 sq ft condo with vaulted ceilings in every room and zero light. The bathrooms were outdated and had bad vents. In two days time hector and his crew installed 34 recess lights, 2 bathrooms vents, replaced 21 outdated electrical outlets and basically re-wired the entire place. They were super careful with my condo and kept the areas clean as they worked. They are worth every dollar. You get what you pay for!!!! I am so happy with the final product! I installed smart dimmers and sensors in all the bathrooms. I am literally in a brand new house now. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!

FINALLY - an electrician that is honest, fair priced, pleasant to work with and above all knowledgeable and skilled. I had a complex exterior lighting issue at my house thanks to terrible seller's realtors in not handing over information on how to work things in the house. This one perplexed me and all my handyman friends until Yuri showed and did one walk through of my property and then diagnosed and fixed the issue. He arrived just two hours after I called to check his availability. He will no doubt be my go-to electrician here on out as its so rare to find good trade people in LA.

Love the work they do. I am the property manager for a business here on the Westside of LA, and Seven Electric is our go to for all our service and electrical needs. We recently purchased a new property, and needed to re-wire the entire first floor. Their techs did a great job. We also had them install 4 high-power exterior lights for security, as well as called them out to troubleshoot and restore power to our 3rd floor. Manny is very responsive, and his technicians are hard workers. And their prices are competitive.
