I needed my circuit panel box replaced (50 years old) and these guys did a great job.  They completed the job the same day I called.  Very happy!

Marat, did an amazing job I just updated my electrical panel from 100-amp to 200. He was very patient with me, he answered all the questions & concerns I had during the process. Love the fact that he was so fast and clean at his job from beginning to end. LA County is very strict with coding even the inspector was impressed with his job. I highly recommend him for all electrical needs. Definitely will continue to use him in the near future.

We hired Jose and his team to still a 50amp line for EV charging in a commercial building. They were extremely professional, nice, prompt, and delivered exactly what they said they would.

Jose first did a FaceTime to preliminary scope the project and then sent me a proposal. He then came on site a few days before to see it in person. And then arrived promptly on the day of work with extra help to get the job done.

They were able to get my 18foot cord to fit PERFECTLY while myself parking head in, which was super important to me.

Wouldn't hesitate to hire them again!

Called this electrician with a problem.  He spent the time to talk me through the issue in detail.  Very friendly and helpful!  I am keeping his number for the next time I have an issue.  Awesome customer service.  Highly recommended.

We spent over $15K with BK electric on the renovation of our house.  There were amateur mistakes along the entire way - from not showing up when they said they would to showing up without the proper equipment to do the job.  It was laughable.  In the end, the job got done but we are now stuck with LED lights that FLICKER like crazy.

BK once again promised to send someone out a X time on X day and of course nothing.  Not even an email to reschedule.  As an interior designer, I find GOOD SERVICE to be almost MORE important than anything else.  Gustavo is a nice guy yes, but overwhelmed - I think the company spreads him way too thin.  We are now hiring other electricians to fix their sloppy work (yes, it might be a manufacturer issue on the LEDs, regardless, BK has no interest in helping us figure it out).  Glad to see others have had a better experience than us but sounds like they were all small jobs....

I highly recommend Scott at W. LA Electric, and would absolutely use him again.   If you're like me, and don't have patience for long reviews, here's the bottom line...

Scott is an honest, experienced and talented electrician.  Very efficient and up front; no surprises.

My front yard outdoor lights stopped working during the heavy rain last week.  A good friend, who used to be a general contractor, said there is a short somewhere, but I'd need a qualified electrician to find it.  The nightmare scenario for me was that 2 of the 8 lights are on posts about 20 feet from the house, and digging underground to find the short would cost me a fortune.

Based on Yelp reviews, I called Scott.  He offered to come out and explained how his company charges for diagnostic work and repairs.  Wasn't cheap... but sounded reasonable.  Upon arrival, Scott was courteous, professional,  and apparently very experienced.  The short was in the line to the 2 post lights, but he was able to find it without digging!  After testing a couple of possible entry points to the house from the underground conduit, he found the shorted wire within about 30 minutes!  Scott completed the repairs, installed a new digital timer, and was done in just over an hour.

Hands down one of the best electricians in town. Very professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable in the field.  We needed some electrical work done at our house and Vartan came to our rescue. He was able to do everything that we needed him to do in the most professional manner. I would highly recommend East West Electric  to everyone who needs any sort of electrical work.  Trust me you would not be disappointed

We bought a house that was supposedly fully updated on most of the electrical wiring.  Upon further inspection, we found out a lot of the wiring was ungrounded and some of the outlets are malfunctioning.  We reached out to Penna Electric for a quote to update all the electrical wiring and use the opportunity to add a ton of outlets to our home.

The team sent out to our house did an amazing job, and we made some requests in the middle of their work, such as adding or modifying even more outlets, and they obliged immediately with no impact to schedule.  All of the old wiring was removed, replaced, and correctly done with a cleaner layout.

Super happy with the results and feel much safer in the home with proper wiring.

HIGHLY recommend J Powers Electric!  Super friendly, came right on time, did very professional and efficient work.  Love my new ceiling fan.

I phoned them about loss of power to the loft of our house in the Hollywood Hills, they said they would be over in about 1/2 hour, and they were here in less time than that.  Checked various potential problems, and found an outside GFI plug had been wired incorrectly and water had tripped it, shutting off power to the entire loft area!  Good detective work!!  They rewired this, problem fixed, minimal charge.  I am VERY happy.  Polite, courteous and professional.  I will use them again as required, and highly recommend them.

I enjoyed hiring this team. They came out based on my photos and went right to work. Never was worried about the quality of work. I had them install a wifi outlet and it was too deep for normal boxes, they explained this to me and installed an extension easily! Would recommend these people to anyone.

I used Got Light for an emergency outage at my rental property on the hottest day of the year. Could not have been more impressed with their service. Yuri is the man. I called him this morning as there was no electricity in our pool panel. Our pool man who was a specialist was unable to repair it. We waited five days for our pool specialist to take care of the problem. They wanted to replace all the pool electrical cables. Yuri found the problem, fixed it in half an hour and all the pool functions are up and running. Great person, very professional and superb service. Ten thumbs up. Highly recommended!!!

This father and son team are great to work with. We needed some basic electrical work done on a house we just bought, and also wanted an expert opinion on the state of the
electrical system. They found some weird things (a kitchen outlet on the same circuit as the garage) and gave me the right advice on how to be careful with that. Some things I wanted they suggested were not necessary, and I really appreciate the honesty. They gave me a few pointers on what to be careful about the electrical system in the house, and that's something that I found extremely useful. Will definitely call them back next time I need electrical work done.

We had a wonderful experience working with Jesse. They were prompt and accommodating to our schedule. We had them run a new line to a new tankless water heater and due to this they needed to flex with the needs of the installation dates/times and issues that popped up with the plumber. This was not a problem for them. They were able to flex to when we asked them to come by and stuck around to resolve the installation issues with the water heater. Furthermore, they were open to coming back to check in with a few more minor issues we have been having, give us a diagnosis and even fixed something without additional charge. This is what you want in an electrician. Licensed, knowledgeable, professional, local and family run. As a home owner, this is what you are looking for. I will turn to them with any future electrical needs and recommend you give them a try.

Heny is reliable and honest. He doesn't just fix electrical problem but also guarantees his work. I have had other electricians (no names) and they misdiagnosed the issue. I had a dish washer malfunction issue but turned out that the machine just needs a hard reset. The other company that misdiagnosed the problem even charged me and recommended to either replace my dishwasher or replace the mother board. GUESS WHAT? None of those are necessary. So by going with Heny or HDJ, I saved $400 - $500 in replacement fees.

Can't wait to have HDJ work on my lighting fixtures and upgrading my home.

We had a small job on a weekend. Manny was accomadating with our schedule and got the job done! Very pleasant to work with too!
