Recently, one of our 75' Eucalyptus trees, toppled over. It was initially very upsetting. We soon learned that we also needed to cut down our other 3 Eucalyptus trees, as they presented a danger that they also might topple over, discovering later that they all had been infested with termites.
This initial disaster led to an opportunity... the area where the first Eucalyptus tree had fallen was previously inaccessible, as the tree blocked access to the area.

Once the tree fell, we decided to convert what was previously an area used for planting into a new patio, where we could relocate our outdoor dining table.

After rebuilding the fence brought down by our fallen tree, we began to level out the ground, and later installed stairs and pavers....
At this point, we decided to furnish the area with lighting, for our outdoor evening dining.
I contacted several electrical companies, all which had excellent referrals on Yelp.

Marvin, of Sebas Electric, showed up, we discussed what I was looking for, and within a few days I received a proposal which was below estimates previously received from other companies.
I choose to proceed with Sebas Electric, who had provided several excellent suggestions. His men showed up promptly, performed the work on schedule, and, when a couple of minor problems reared up, Marvin and his team addressed them promptly!

All work was done on time, within our agreed upon budget, and Marvin was even good enough to take care of minor electrical issues which predated our original meeting.

I am posting a photo of our new patio, with uplights, bistro lighting and LED stair lighting, which all come together to provide a stunning appearance at night! The patio in the photo is not quite finished, but the lighting is complete, and the photo gives you a good idea of how the patio will look once it is done!

A-EV installed our Tesla wall connector and we are very pleased. I received no BS pricing via Yelp and we set an install time. The electrician arrived on-time and completed the work quickly. I had pre-cleaned the area and made room for the work and he left it spotless. They stand behind their work and gave me a 1yr warranty should I have any issues with the install. I'm now charging at 48A for right at 12kW after hours.

I'm sure other do good work but A-EV is who I'm recommending to all of my friends with new EVs.

We had a number of items, including adding a 220 outlet and fixing several other outlets. He started fixing some items while scoping the job for the estimate! Very professional, friendly, and punctual. Came to do the work the next day and got it done in a much shorter time than I expected.

Thank you Dan!  Was in a time crunch to fit in lighting and electrical work in the middle of a remodel and Dan came through.  He was extremely patient with my indecision while always giving me additional options to meet my ever changing needs/wants.  The under cabinet lighting, new switches, and new outlets in the new cabinets' and kitchen island are great.  All the new cut's and hole's were done perfectly and the wiring behind the cabinet were extremely tidy and done in a way that didn't take up any unnecessary space or are completely hidden from view.  Since I was also having new appliances installed he made sure to check all the existing circuitry would meet the new appliances needs.  He definitely went above and beyond what I was expecting while always being extremely responsive to any/all of my questions before and during the actual work.  Would definitely use his services in the future.

Thomas from ProPower Electric did an amazing job replacing my old ceiling exhaust fan/light with a newer one in my downstairs bathroom. It was not an easy task since it required dry wall cutting and ducting and electrical wiring work; however, Thomas was able to analyze and perform the retrofit installation effectively within an hour's work, which I am impressed with. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I will definitely be reaching out to ProPower Electric again for more future lighting projects.

ARA was FANTASTIC.  From my first phone call, thru the installation of my pendant light, which I adore, Ara was a complete professional. He has access to other professionals such as plaster/patching, which was necessary for the scope of my job. While  he was here, he did a few things without charge, since he was waiting for the drywall to dry. Arrived early, and phoned me to make sure that was convenient - SUPER! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Jose was a blessing! We had an after work hours outlet fire and out of everyone that we called that was listed as open or 24/7 Jose was the only one willing to come out and help us. It was very much appreciated especially considering our A/C and internet were hooked up to the same circuit. He was efficient and precise, tested everything after his work and was on his way quickly. Couldn't be more thankful for him taking our house call.

Our house had an entire wall knocked down between the kitchen and living room. Needed multiple outlets and switches to be rewired and new wiring for lighting and island hood mounted through the ceiling. Leo is the model of patience and professionalism. Not only was the work correctly and meticulously done, but he also explained every aspect of what he was doing and why. Even fixed pre-existing wiring that could have posed a threat that was incorrectly done from a previous company. Entered the crawl space and attic multiple times to make sure everything was done right and helped make sure everything was flawless. Only electrician I would ever work with, period.

This is an overdue review as we have hired Movses like 5 times already. He is simply awesome. Very responsive, professional, honest, and always gets the job done.

Let me copy the last reviewer by also saying if I could give 10 stars, I would!

Arin was 100000% the most honest and humble electrician I've ever serviced with. I had an issue where half my house wasn't getting power, but none of the switches was tripped. Odd.....

Prior to servicing my issue with Arin, I was in contact with 2 other Electric Service Companies that after one quick look at my breaker, told me that I would need to replace the entire panel because I had 3 dead switches. They were also very aggressive with getting me to sign their insanely high quotes. After a few checks on the panel, Arin confirmed that those 3 aforementioned switches were in fact FINE! Without going into too much detail, he was able to locate, diagnose, replace the one blown outlet that blocked power to the half of the house and BOOM...everything restored. (It was an empty fabreeze plug-in that I had plugged into the guest room for years without realizing. Sigh...be careful with those!)

Thank you for saving me from thousands of dollars on potentially replacing something that I didn't need to. Definitely saving your number for future projects and recommending to all of my friends and family in the LA area.

(Also apologies for my derpy German Shepherd that kept sneaking up and scaring you. Definitely not a good combo when handling eletrical work! haha!)

Ibrahim and Omar are the real deal. After moving into our new place and being shocked (electrocuted) by the handle and shower head in our shower, we called several electricians  desperate for help. No one called us back except Ibrahim (it was a Saturday). Ibrahim and Omar arrived, pegged the source of the problem, and had everything fixed within an hour and a  half -- all for a very reasonable price. I will certainly be using these guys in the future and would undoubtedly recommend them to anyone!

J&M Electrical is one of the best contractors I've ever hired. Kevin came out the next day after I called, and gave us a thorough and honest estimate. Scheduling the work appointment through their office was effortless, and a crew of three (quote was for two) showed up on time. Nick and Josh were very professional, and reviewed the landscape lighting job they were there for. The work they did was top shelf, almost to the point of perfection. They cleaned up afterwards and Nick made sure we were satisfied with the lighting, which I should say was spectacular. He even returned several days later (by appointment through their office) to tighten some screws and inspect the project. If you're looking for an honest, economical, and professional company, look no further - these guys are it!

I called Mike for assistance with installing a chandelier. Fortunately, he had some availability later the same day. Mike came over and did a great job installing the chandelier and also helped with a switch conversion. His price was very reasonable and I am very pleased with the work he did. Thanks Mike!
