Had them install two ceiling lights in a room that had none. They did a great job and were reasonable in price.

Update 2018 :Had to schedule again due to original house builders installing a bad GFI outlet behind stove. Scheduling and reply time was great. Problem was solved efficiently.

Responded the quickest with clear requests for job scope and timing. The price for adding two electrical outlets was decent and it was a Father and Son crew. Checked credentials for licencing and qualifications from their online website. Job was scheduled for the following day.

I have worked with trades on both coasts (commercial and residential) and Optimum Electrical were both knowledgeable& trustworthy. Trust is a rare commodity these days especially when interacting with contractors. I do recommend Optimum Electrical for anyone looking for electrical work of any size.

Roman and his crew are fantastic! I hired them to install an EV charging unit. This required rewiring of the panel, running electrical wire under the house and installing a wall charger. I'm amazed at how efficiently the crew did its work and how clean the jobsite looked upon completion. I will absolutely hire Brentwood Electrical Experts again and would recommend others to do the same.

Bait and switch. Don't trust the quote. Will upcharge you over and over. Terrible experience.

Here's my experience:
Electrician showed up, quoted $1,500 for multiple light installs. I have all lights on hand and pointed out all install sites.

Afterward I ask about adding some switches and landed at $1,850.

Then I also asked about a large chandelier install as a phase 2 project and pull up the exact model of the chandelier ordered, was quoted $1,200. So All together we're at $1,850 + $1,200 = $3,050.

We agree to part 1 of the project and the chandelier at a later date but I decline the switches, but now my quote is $1,600 instead of the initial $1,500 agreed to. He won't budge. Against my better judgement I agree and let him move forward.

Day of install he gets into the lights and says an additional $150 is needed for wiring work. At this point he's literally standing on my counter with the junction box exposed so I agree to it just to get it done. We're now at $1,750 instead of the original $1,500 quoted. Job gets done and he says one of the other lights would normally require another upcharge, but he's doing me a favor by not charging even more than the agreed upon price.

He comes back for the chandelier install. Opens the box and says he can't install the chandelier at the agreed upon price and it has to be $3,000 instead of $1,200.

Either these hidden up charges are just part of their business model or there is completely inadequate due diligence that they'll pass on the end customer.

Very respectful, knowledgable and punctual. A minor malfunction that did not need replacement of a part, corrected it and didn't charge me anything. I'll definitely recommend him to family and friends.

We moved into the Palos Verdes neighborhood recently and wanted to use a local electrician.  We found Penna Electric on Yelp and it had great reviews, so we thought we'd give it a try.  WOW! we hit the jackpot!  Every step of the way was smooth, professional and perfectly executed.  Amanda answered the phone with such a friendly, positive manner.  Todd then came out to give us our estimate and was helpful and knowledgeable - very nice and professional.  Herman and his helper, Tomas, arrived a few days later for the installation.  They arrived on time and had the best attitude, and were super intelligent.  Herman was determined to do the installation as best he could and wanted to install the wiring through a super thick beam, instead of using an exposed casing, as all the other electricians (who gave us estimates) had said would need to be done, given the thickness of the beam.  They used lasers to balance and center, and then they cleaned up every possible piece of dust.  They also installed a hanging pendulum lamp in our dining room.  They did a beautiful job all the way around!  Thank you, Todd and your team at Penna Electric!

I was very pleased with the work done by J Powers Electric.  More importantly, my mother was pleased.  The work done was to update electrical outlets for new kitchen appliances.  My mother was given a clear and thorough explanation of what work needed to be done with the estimate.  They were on time, neat, professional and thorough.  I wouldn't hesitate to refer J Powers Electric for any electrical project.

Great service from scheduling to the actual job performed! David took all the precautions and wore a mask the whole time. Great company all around!

Had a great experience with Eduardo of Blueprint Electric. He responded quickly,  provided a reasonable quote, offered good suggestions, and completed the work shortly thereafter. He installed some recessed exterior lighting on our garage and replaced the transformer for our landscape lighting. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the work and overall professionalism. We'll be hiring him for additional work.

Celso was able to come by on short notice and fix a confusing power situation. Even after needing to go to another appointment, he offered to come back after hours and fix the problem at a reasonable price. I definitely recommend Kings in the future

Very professional and friendly service!!! Needed an electrician to replace an electrical outlet with a USB outlet. Hector and his crew are very professional!! He called to confirm the appointment and gave me the time when his crew would show up. They showed up on time!!! I'm a stickler for timeliness :) The electrician was very friendly and  explained the work that he was going do. Being that it was a small job, he was able to replace the outlet quickly. I could tell he was meticulous about his work because he pulled out his level and made small adjustments to the outlet and even cleaned up the small residue. We will definitely be using GotLight again!!!
