Alex is not only an amazing electrician but he's an equally amazing person. He did some unique work most people wouldn't touch. I'm converting a Sprinter Camper van and the electrical system is very challenging to say the least. He exceeded expectations in every possible way. They came to install a Tesla charger for my car and they did such a great job that I actually asked them if they could help me with installing a light switch that I could turn on remotely from my phone. They finished installing the Tesla charger and immediately started working on the light switch. They went to the store on the spot and got everything they needed in order to make my last minute request happen.

Roman called me the same day l was searching for an electrician through Angie's List.  He introduced himself as an electrician from Brentwood Electrical Experts that was in the list of recommended electricians.  I was not so keen in having him come over to my house because l was more interested in another company from the list.  Since he convinced me that it would be a free estimate and that l was not obligated to contract him to do the job, l agreed for him to come.  I was so impressed with his professional demeanor and how he explained the electrical situation and what was needed to correct it, that l agreed for him to do the job.  I am glad l did.  It was a relief that the electrical problem with the service panel has been fixed.  I took 3 photos of the service panel to my solar contractor so they can proceed with a solar system.  I definitely will have Roman as my go to person for all my electrical needs in the future and highly recommend him to others without any hesitation.

The existing electrical in our garage wasn't working, and was frankly pretty suspicious looking anyway. Jose and his team pulled us a new feed (and even fixed one of our previously-broken sprinkler heads that was on their trench path), tested the existing garage wiring for safety, and replaced everything that wasn't trustworthy. His proposal was transparent and he communicated clearly throughout the job. He and his crew were all super friendly and respectful! I'm thrilled to be able to safely use our garage space now, and also thrilled to have found an electrician that I can call on for my and my clients' homes.

A good, reliable electrical company that services a wide area as our condo is in Monterey Park. I actually live in North Hollywood, so when I called to follow up on a visit my sister experienced, I was surprised to see their headquarters on Ventura/the Valley.  Enrique had come to check a few things as our tenants complained about not having electricity in one of the rooms.  He came and checked and fixed one of the lightswitches and said that the tenant needed to flip the light switch to get electricity in that other room.  The next day that same light in the room went out so I called the company and they sent Enrique to come the next day around noon. He did some troubleshooting and tightened some things in our electric box but recommended that we replaced the whole thing.  We ended up doing so and got a quote for the outside boxes for the whole complex.  Enrique was very knowledgable, helpful and friendly. This place is great and available/open on Sundays, which is nice. They can be hard to get a hold of sometimes, but will usually call you back in a decent amount of time. A consultation is $85 but can be put towards your service.

I have received the services of Scott and Co. on two separate occasions, spaced years apart.  I found the services to be very professional and safe.

I'm a tech nerd so the first thing I did after buying my house was have Scott wire up the closet in the guest bedroom and also add an outlet to the master bedroom wall.  I ran my servers in there for a while and all was well, but then I just didn't like that setup anymore (it was hard to ventilate) so I moved my servers to another place in my house with a more direct air current.  Not his fault, just me not thinking the problem through.  Either way, both outlets were done really nicely and I'm still using the outlet he did in the master bedroom.  This was quite a few years ago.  I think Scott was hesitant about the outlet in the guest bedroom closet and I think he mentioned something off hand about not wanting to wire up a closet if I were going to grow pot, ha ha ha.  I told him it was for many servers and he was cool with it.  I guess with electricity, there's always a risk.  Or it could be that he has morals.  I told my boss at work about this and he said his electrician said the same thing when he wanted his closet wired up (servers from an acquisition carry-over).  Either we both used the services of Scott, or it might be a common concern.  We thought it was funny.  No visible damage from either job.

The most recent job I asked Scott to do was more inclusive.  Now that I've lived in my house for several years, my wife and I were ready to add outlets in places where we needed them the most.  I asked him to add 1 outlet in the living room, one in the kitchen, one in a small cubby hole next to my fireplace (for 3D printing), one in the guest bedroom, and a really tricky one over the fireplace for a clean install of my TV.  They installed the outlet (because they are good at that), I installed the TV (because I'm good at that).  The outlet over the fireplace required some exploratory work, but no visible damage.  Not sure what they did on that one.  Also, while doing an inspection, he told me that I had two outlets outside that were not GFI and could kill me if I used them improperly.  To be fair, that's what the house inspector said, too.  So I basically said what the heck and got a large swath of all my electrical work and wishlist done at once.  It came in slightly under a thousand dollars.  Not bad for a two day job.

They did a terrific job.  I will always ask that Scott do my electrical work.  They seem pricey, but so do electricians in general.  High quality work.  Friendly people.

Within a couple of hours they had called me back and had given me the quote I though it was amazing so I schedule an appointment for a convenient time for me. Penna Electric is hands down the only way to go. Form the second I met Todd, it was love at first sight. He came to give me an estimate and was very kind and knowledgeable. He told me what I needed to do to get my old house up to code. Also, we were doing a kitchen remodel and Todd had better ideas than the three previous electricians. He has been doing this for a long time and knows exactly what needs to be done. I was very pleased with meeting him and talking with him.

When the work started, he made sure that his guys did exactly what I wanted. We were doing a kitchen remodel and he made our kitchen look absolutely beautiful with the various lights they installed. On top of that, they looked at existing lights that were installed and wired incorrectly and was more than happy to fix them, so that I would not have a house fire. All of the employees were very kind and easy to work with.

The day I was having my cabinets installed, I asked Todd exactly where he needed his low voltage wires to run through the cabinets. The cabinet installers did not understand, because of a language barrier, however, Todd stopped what he was doing to come over and show them what he needed. The cabinet installers were very challenging to work with and were unwilling to drill a hole where Todd requested. So, Todd (the owner and on a Saturday), took over. He cut the drywall where it needed to be cut, drilled the holes and made sure his wires were where they needed to be. Even after the cabinet installers were yelling at him, he made sure that the job was going to be done the correct way. He took time out of his SATURDAY to come to my house and do the physical labor himself. To me, that speaks volume. He truly has the customers best interest at heart and is willing to do whatever it takes to make sure that the work gets done correctly the first time.

Penna is a very professional company that is easy to work with. Every experience I have had with them have been more than pleasant. The entire staff was kind and willing to go above and beyond for the customer. I am so glad that I decided to work with Todd and his guys for my kitchen remodel. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone looking to have electrical work done. Everything was done professionally and up to code. WAY TO GO PENNA...you guys are awesome.

JPowers Electric did a great job upgrading my homes electrical panel. Joe was very responsive to my messages from initial out reach through final payment. If I had a question/concern he would respond in minutes! Joe was the lead and explained everything thoroughly and didn't try to upsell me any additional upgrades or services. The entire JPowers crew were professional, quick and left the job site cleaner than it was when they got here. Would highly recommend these guys if you need any electrical work done around your home.

I reside in a 10 unit TIC (condo complex) in Rampart Village.  Moved in 9 months ago.  At the time we had awful festoon (aka string) lights in the common area, installed by the builder/remodeler.  They needed to be replaced and properly installed this time.  Also have a wonderful old 1920s concrete column with an orb (sphere) globe atop.  It needed wiring installed to work.

A member of our board knows the folks at B & K, decided to have them do the install.  We're not the easiest folks to work for as there were several opinions on how things should be done.  Bottom line?  We got a WORLD CLASS professional installation, the lights look and work magnificently.  

The orb was a special challenge.  They had to run UL class 2 (low voltage) cable under the walkway, install a sensor + transformer.  It was not easy; however, they came up with the perfect way to do this and got it done.

I have spent over 40 years of my life working in the electrical industry.  I've seen 1,000+ contractors do work.  It's rare that I personally am pleased when it comes to electrical work.  But this time I am 100% satisfied as these folks exceeded my expectations.

If you need electrical work done and you're as fussy as I am?  Call them.

I was having trouble with my home electric vehicle charger so I put out a request on Yelps messaging and right away got a message from Eduardo at Blueprint Electric. He was quick to respond and made time to come over that day to check out the issue. I thought it was awesome how he showed me everything he was trying to fix the charger so that if it happened again, I would be able to do it myself. As it turned out, the fix required replacing the unit and Eduardo spoke at length with the charger company customer service techs to make sure there wasn't anything he could do without a replacement unit. No go, but when I did receive the new unit, Eduardo and his guys Juan and Mitch were right there to install it and make sure everything was up and running. I also had a few other smaller electrician jobs that had been on my get done list that needed attention, and the guys from Blueprint Electric made quick work out of them and really helped me out by making the most of their service call. Eduardo is so good at communicating all aspects of the work to be done, the expectations, costs, and safety details. They're all really friendly and the kind of professionals that are a pleasure to work with. Blueprint is for sure my first call for any electrical needs from now on!

Really fortunate to find him on Yelp.  I needed a Electrician to diagnose and eventually replace.two old 50 amp breakers for one of my tenants.

He arrived earlier than he estimated and once he completed  troubleshooting the issue he returned with the parts the same day and completed the repairs.

Needless to say my tenant was happy and his charge was more than
fair.  I plan to use him a independent Electrician for my buildings future repairs.  Paid about half what I expected the bill to be!

Got dinged on a home inspection and needed an electrician. Chose Got Light Electric based on the positive Yelp reviews. Phoned and spoke with Hector on Monday and made an appointment for Friday (today). He told me he would arrive between 10-11am. By 11:10, no one had showed, nor phoned. I called their office it went into voicemail. Left a message. No show, no call back. Really hurt me as escrow is closing Tuesday and I needed this fixed. Lost a whole week because of them. Big thumbs down to this company!

Yuri is not only the best of what he does on the job but also very pleasant charming & patience while he was working, under the hot summer heat ,at my house this afternoon.
