Come the next day to replace my porch light switch with a smart switch so I could schedule my lights to come on at sunset and shut off at sunrise. Fast, reliable, and trustworthy.

My partner and I hired Sean to remove all of the old knob and tube system in our new house and update it with new wiring. We passed our final inspection yesterday and could not be more pleased with the work. Sean and his team did excellent, timely work and were also very kind and courteous. I recommend these professionals highly.

Wow, working with Zenith Electric start to finish was an excellent experience. I had requested support via Yelp and Zenith Electric reached out within 12 hours. They then promptly worked with me to schedule a virtual facetime appt to assess the need and provide an estimate of costs for our job. Scheduling was a breeze and when I expressed a desire to have to job done as soon as possible, they called me when they had a cancellation and I was able to book an appt 2 days after my virtual consultation. Vians was our installer and he was prompt, professional, and clearly an expert in his field. He did a fantastic job for us installing a new ceiling fan and chandelier. He could not have been more pleasant to work with and was patient with all our questions (and even with our dog running around trying to play with him). Also, the estimate was spot on for the total cost of the job which was great too. I would gladly hire Zenith Electric in a heartbeat again for our electrical needs. Such a great company all around!

The guys were great.  Trustworthy, did great work, communicated well.  Cleaned up after the job.  No complaints, just completely satisfied.  Highly recommend.

We worked with Marat to install some light fixtures as well as doing hardwired and plug-in security cameras. He did excellent work, was a strong communicator, timely, thoughtful in his work and gave a reasonable quote.

I reached out to BK Electric Services to fix a recessed lighting can that was no longer working.

The good news is that they were prompt in getting back to me, they successfully fixed the problem, and it wasn't too expensive.

That bad is everything that didn't involve electricity.

The lighting cans they needed to remove are set in a white-painted drywall ceiling, one of which is directly over a desk. They didn't lay any kind of drop cloth or do any kind of preparation work before pulling the can out and dumping drywall dust all over everything on the desk, later asking me if I had a small vacuum to clean it up.

Additionally, neither electrician wore any kind of gloves which A) would have prevented one of them from getting shocked (which DID happen) and B) it would have prevented them from getting dirty hand prints all over the white ceiling.

On top of this, their removal of both lighting cans was so forceful that now unless they are set in very specific positions they will fall out. The only way to resolve this would be to remove the lights completely, redo the drywall, and re-install the cans, so I'll just deal with it.

I feel like any workman's motto should be leave things better than when you started but that was not the case here. Yes, they did solve the problem but they also left drywall dust and hand prints to clean, as well as lighting fixtures that, though now functioning correctly, are in a more precarious position than if I hadn't called someone to fix them.

As such, I definitely feel the service could have been better.

West LA Electric is a fantastic outfit and Scott is super duper efficient and honest. Today I thought I needed to update my outlets with a reset button as they were dead and no amount of fiddling with the fuse fixed it.  Turns out there is one plug with a reset button and it controls all of them on the wall. Did I know that? Clearly not. But WLE did and instead of charging me $185 to add reset buttons, this free advice was all I needed. West LA Electric has done all our lights and they've been awesome.

Have worked with Nshan on two different occasions and each time was a pleasure. Just a standout guy who is honest with his pricing and loyal to his work! He took the time to explain things with me and has answered questions about future projects that we have in mind.  Have already recommended him and his company to different people and will be calling them on future projects as well.  Thanks!

I hired Penna Electric to install a new sub panel box and 5 new circuits to our old house in Hermosa. We were constantly tripping breakers when more than one appliance was running at the same time. Penna Electric came out and listened to me explain the problem. I mean really listened. He was very patient and understanding as I am no electrician. He then explained in layman's terms what they would do and gave me the price after checking on material costs. Everything was done on schedule and very professional.  I couldn't be happier with my experience with Penna Electric. I can strongly recommend them to anyone needing expert and fairly priced electrical work on the home or business. A +++

these guys were fantastic.  I needed a ceiling fan installed in my 1927 laurel canyon cottage with a tiny attic space, and a dead outlet and switch rewired. the estimate was reasonable, the workers were friendly, knowledgable, and cleaned up afterwards.  immediately after they left, I added J Powers to my contact list under electrician, and I am sure I will use them again.

Very disappointed. Leland seems a great guy. Came out and had a solution to a complex problem and sent quote which I accepted. Then ghosted with family problems the reason. Absolutely no reply to any calls or texts.
Feel badly for his situation but wonder why he simply disappeared.
Wondering why he answered a similar complaint on Yelp with same excuse.

Blueprint electric went above and beyond. Needed a rewire project for pool and spa as previous elecrtricians left an unsafe subpanel that didn't deliver the correct amps to run multiple motors. Eduardo gave me a ballpark figure just based on pictures I sent him for the scope of the work. By the time he actually looked at the project in person, the quote did not deviate from the initial estimate. He gave better insight and multiple recommendations to how to execute the project. Paperwork was thorough and succint. He was able to start the project early and completed earlier than expected.  I didn't feel like he was stretching himself out with multiple projects as he brought in a whole crew and not just one guy assigned for my property.  Work area was very clean post project and he walked me through what was done when it was completed. Definitely exceeded my expectations and will reuse Blueprint Electric and recommend to my friends.

I needed a sauna hooked up with specific requirements: AC220-240V 60HZ, 6000W (6KW), 40A Breaker Recommended (will use around 26-28 amps) (no power plug). This was a tough job and was quoted a high price from every other electrician as it needs to be ran directly to the breaker.

He came through with a great price and a quality job. I highly recommend and will hire again for any electrical jobs needed.

Great work done by Cesar! He installs all electrical needs, outlets that are outdated and so forth. He is local for me so I reached out. He works in a time efficiently manner and really helps you out. If you need some work done I'd recommend him and he is a funny guy.
