I called Alex & Alex on a Saturday morning. I had a dead garbage disposal and was blaming the outlet. Alex spent a good ten or fifteen minutes with me on the phone troubleshooting the problem and ruling out a few possibilities. When the problem wasn't solved, he said he would come out and told me how much it would cost.

He showed up around noon that same day. He checked the wiring and the problem turned out to be the garbage disposal so there was nothing for him to do. I replaced the disposal the next day and all was well.

Communication and effort were both excellent. I'll recommend Alex & Alex to my friends.

Sean at optimum electrical was great. He and his team responded first to the few requests for appointment I sent out on Yelp. When they did come for a quote, they were on time and very friendly! I was 38 weeks pregnant at the time and wanted outlets put in so I could have a dishwasher installed.

The quote was fair and they didn't pressure me but instead explained the pricing a broke it down item by item which I found to be very helpful.

I may not know anything about electrical work but I work in customer service and I could tell they were trustworthy and respectful.

They came to do the work a few days later and finished faster than expected.

Very satisfied and I am planning on using there services again.

My mother, who is 88, needed five smoke detectors replaced, a socket replaced, an under cabinet light replaced (I sent pictures, he came prepared), and a Ring doorbell installed. Everyone else said we needed a transformer to install the Ring doorbell, but he looked at the wiring and said we'd be fine as the voltage was high enough. He then helped us configure the app so it was working properly.

Couldn't have gone any better. They are my new electricians, hands down.

Madison Electric exceeded my expectations: I called Nathan hoping to set up an appointment for the next week, since I know a lot of business are backed up-- I was lucky enough to get an appointment same day within a couple of hours of my call! The men who installed my small chandelier were friendly and quick, and when I went to check if they needed anything, they were already done and we moving my furniture back into place (which I didn't expect them to do because I moved the furniture myself before they got there). Great company, great service, and great price-- I may have to buy more chandeliers for the other rooms, since the installation was so painless. Thank you Nathan and Madison Electric!

Marat and his team was fantastic. They're extremely helpful and accommodating. The appointment scheduling was smooth as well and they were here on time. He was able to fix our issue that we had for years and troubleshoot fairly quickly. He does not take advantage of his customers and his pricing was fair. I would highly recommend MH Electric if you're looking for someone knowledgeable and reliable.

i had 3 lights that i wanted to change from fluorescents to LEDs, and the fixtures had to be rewired to bypass the ballasts, at 15' high. (too high for me!)   Jose and his helper did a great job, super quick, and replaced the switches/dimmers while he was there too, all at a very reasonable price.  happy happy.  highly recommended.  (and I'm a retired old fart electrical engineer, who's hired many people in construction down through the years, so, that into account.)

I called as a new customer needing some 220 work in the mains panel for a new dryer.

George and Moises were out within 2 hours. They diagnosed the problem, explained what was wrong, what they needed to do to fix it, went and got some parts, came back, did their work, and it was fixed. Total elapsed time from my first call until the problems was fixed - around 5 hours.

Total pros. This team is my go-to now for any electrical issues.

The people that I spoke with and installers were good and courteous. I was quoted $350 for 4 recess lights. I was told parts and labor covered, with $100 deposite which I paid. At the time of installation, I was told dimmer switches were not included. I either loose my deposit or pay additional $150 for 3 dimmer switches which I had no choice but pay.

Will I go back to this company for my other projects: no I will not.

West LA Electric came all the way over the hill to install two outdoor motion detection lights and a few other things and I couldn't be happier! They charged me a fair, very competitive rate for above standard work. They were prompt, professional, courteous and did excellent work. Vartan provided safe and professional service. First, he and his partner wore masks for the job. We had a problem with our electricity going in and out and Vartan came by to troubleshoot it but by the time he got there of course the electricity came back on. Of course, that would happen. He could not assess if he needed to replace the panel but to save us money he suggested we monitor it. Days later when the electricity came went out again we called Vartan and he quickly came by the house at night. This time the electricity was out and he said it was a problem with DWP. I called DWP and Vartan walked me through describing the issue with them over the phone. DWP came by a few hours later to fix it. When we had DWP look at it months earlier they could not figure it out so it took Vartan to assess the problem. What I appreciate most was his suggestion to monitor the problem rather than jumping to the conclusion of replacing the panel which would have been very expensive. That is a sign of professionalism and honesty. I would not hesitate to use East West Electricity again.

Try my best to utilize local businesses. So when tenant had issue with small old wall heater. I called 5 stars Penna Elec. for help.
They said my job too small. Guess they don't need to develop new relationship with apt owners in area. True test.

I had a couple of older 2 prong plugs upgraded to 3 prong GFCI outlets.
They called and actually arrived early.  They were supposed to come at 2pm and actually got here at 11am.   Very courteous.   Got the job done in 1/2 hour.  Very good job.  And as a side, what with this horrible virus now.  Both of the guys arrived wearing gloves and face masks.  I know that's just part of being safe these days, but I really appreciated that.

I recently got a plug-in hybrid vehicle and wanted to install an EV charger in my garage and a 240 volt outlet in my tenant's garage. I contacted this company and Eduardo responded immediately. He told me that I needed to contact the DWP to have an inspector come by and take a look at my electric panel and provide a sketch of where the separate EV panel needed to go, and once I took care of that, I sent it to him. The following day he came over and checked everything out and provided me with an estimate. Because the job involved running cables from the bldg to the garages, it would involve breaking through the concrete patio next to the house and digging a trench across the backyard. As a result, the estimate was pricier than I expected. I explained that to Eduardo and he came up with some options that would make it less expensive for me. We ended up doing the job in stages, and he and his team were always there on time and really good about cleaning up after they were done for the day. He took care of getting all the necessary permits and dealing with the inspectors and always keeping me informed of their progress. He and his guys were always professional and polite, and I'm very pleased with their work. Highly recommended!

Is it wrong to say that Yuri is SHOCKingly good? Well, he is! Had three different electricians here before him half a dozen times. The problem was as simple as oxidation and build-up on the circuit breaker contacts. Less than one hour and no more flickering. Also advised what to watch out for and did not push for unnecessary panel upgrade like one other guy.

We used Cesar to install a Level 2 charger for my electric car. Let me start by saying that I wish every service provider were as thorough, communicative, polite and on the ball as Cesar is. He responded quickly, gave me a very detailed estimate, scheduled my service, confirmed it, showed up right on time and got the job done right.

When he was done with the install, he tested the charger to make sure it worked and helped me set my app up. 100% pleased and I am happy to add to the chorus of positive recommendation for Cesar and the EV Guys!!
