I had an issue with some electrical work at my rental and they were able to come out same day. Great communication and very reasonably priced!

I am writing a review for work that Optimum Electrical completed in the fall of 2019. We had a great experience with them and want to follow through and share this with others. I simply had to open an account on Yelp and write my first review, because Optimum Electrical did such a great job.
We needed to move our old electrical panel and upgrade it to a new, larger panel. We chose Optimum Electrical after researching reviews online and interviewing several electricians. We chose Optimum because they were knowledgeable, focused, and the estimate they provided us for the work we needed was very reasonable. They have a very transparent way of pricing that was easy for us to understand.
A father and son team, with a third electrician, they did a fantastic job and completed the project within budget and on time. Sean patiently answered all our questions. Sometimes, he would discuss the best way to approach a problem with his father. Together, they helped us plan how to approach a future expansion we have in mind for a different part of the house.
Friendly, knowledgeable, and kind not only to us, but to each another, they were easy to work with. We were touched when we saw them congratulate each other and shake each others' hands (this was pre-Covid..) after completing the job. This showed us they took pride in a job well done. It was fun to witness this expression of mutual respect and shared camaraderie.
We are glad we have found Sean and his dad (and his coworker). We now know who to call for all our future projects. We have found our electricians.

I needed some lightbulbs replaced and called Brentwood Electrical Experts. The nicest guy, Roman came out twice, replaced close to 50 lights and educated me about my options for lighting fixtures. Total bill with all the lights ...under$350.00
He was so polite, prompt and nice to have around.
I highly recommend them.

This was our first time using Zenith. He showed up on time and in a mask and gloves. Fixed one of our three issues, but had to come back the next day with parts for the other issues. He again arrived on time the next day, quickly did the repairs and charged a very reasonable price. We will definitely use this service again and recommend to friends.

Overall impression was very professional and friendly. Set up the appointment with ease, and the electricians showed up on time and ready to rock. They took care of multiple issues very efficiently. I was impressed and very happy with the results.

Believe all these 5 star reviews for MH ELECTRIC, there's a reason why every single review gushes about Merat's MH Electric. Professional, clean, punctual, quality, honest, goes above and beyond.

Electric and plumbing will always be expensive, and the price difference between an outstanding company and a terrible company is not really great. So we decided to go with MH Electric. Merat's pricing was beyond reasonable considering how technical and involved our project was.

I really enjoyed working with him and his team because they were all very respectful, kind, and efficient.

Marat picks up the phone when you call, he does not play hooky like 99.5% of almost every other contractor even though Marat is basically fully booked and always on a job or on his way to a job. He manages to give every customer the support they need. His communication is 100% clear and to the point. If you have a question, you can text and he will always respond promptly within an hour. I really appreciate this kind of work ethic as it reflects how organized and respectful he is towards his business and your time.

Marat is punctual, when he says a time he means it and he was always on time or 15 minutes early. He also gives incredibly accurate time estimates on job duration which is so helpful as my husband and I have full time jobs, other home projects and things to tend to.

In this case I wish Yelp had an option for 1,000 stars because 5 stars just doesn't do it justice. Even the inspector told me how clean Marat's work is. I also work on construction sites with all sorts of trades and I can 100% confidently say Marat is a quality person who delivers quality work, usually it's one or the other but in this rare case it is both.

Consultation was free, payment methods and terms were fair and easy, quality of work and installation everything was so seamless and perfect. Enough about this review, you better hope he is able to service your area.

Note to everyone: summer is basically all year round in SoCal. If you have an easy up, bottles of water, some ice cream etc just spread the love and at least offer those to any contractor who is coming to do work on your house. It's just nice to be helpful and kind. You don't have to set it up for them, but at least show and offer and give them the option to set it up themselves. Heat stroke is a thing, kindness is also a thing that is enriching for both on the giving and receiving end. Kind thoughts, kind intentions, kind words. Stay safe.

I had a last minute urgent request and Jose made the process so easy and helped me right away! He fixed my electrical issue fast and was really friendly too! We look forward to working with him again.

Purchased a new townhome in March which had a hot tub outside that initially worked but stopped receiving electricity after a month. Had multiple electricians and hot tub maintenance companies out to try and solve the problem and none could do the job. All in One Electric came out and was able to solve the problem in two visits. Great communication, very direct and transparent. I will be reaching back out to them for any additional electrical needs. Highly recommend.

Wish that I could leave a one star. Future customers beware! I was having problems with my air conditioner so I contacted an air conditioner repairman. He came and told me I was having issues with the electrical breakers and to contact an electrician.

I contacted BK Electric Services after reading mostly good reviews on yelp. I was quoted 85$ to come inspect my breakers and then a price of service to be given when the electricians were on site. The operator told me to text her a photo of the breakers and then confirmed an appointment time later that day.

When the electrician came, I was then quoted 125$ per hour of services. The electrician stated he would trouble shoot the problem for the agreed upon 85$ and keep me updated.

Fast forward to 30 minutes later when I am told that there is no apparent problem with the breakers. He will continue to troubleshoot the electrical work to see if he could find the problem. 15 minutes later he tells me that he has done me a favor by moving some wires on the thermostat and fixed the problem. He also states the fee has changed from 85$ to 225$ because of this work he has done. I was shocked at the rate change from 85$ to 225$ especially after I had not authorized him to even do this service.  

He kept justifying the situation saying that I had seen him move the wires around on the thermostat. I was so shocked that I paid him and he left. Afterwards I felt completely duped and upset due to the lack of professionalism and respect given from the electrician.

I contacted the company by phone 4x yesterday. I left two voicemails and a message on yelp with no response.  

Today,  I called again to the company and left a voicemail asking them to return my call. The company called me back and stated their phone was not working due to power outages and bad phone reception. Cell phones don't receive signal when it rains?  Anyways, I explained to her the situation and she said she would talk to the electrician and call me back.

Surprise. Surprise. Not a call back. I have called her and she did not answer. Not sure what kind of business this is but definitely shady and unprofessional. Would not recommend. Customer beware!

My house is old and the electric panel is really old. Probably about 40 to 50 years old. I was having some weird problems with my NEMA 14-50 outlet for my Tesla Model 3 charger so I knew I needed to call an electrician and I wanted the best. I found West LA Electric on Yelp in the #1 spot and I'm glad I did!

I texted Scott the details and he sent Jose and Gabriel right over which was all I could hope for on such short notice. These guys really know their stuff and taught me a lot about how homes are wired and why things are done certain ways. Even though the panel was probably older than them they knew exactly what to do which was awesome. They tested everything, moved some things around, and after everything was back to working with a reconditioned breaker, tested everything again including the operating amps and temperatures of each breaker to make sure everything was going to keep working once they left.

These guys are pros and know what they are doing so if you want the job done right call them!

I just bought the ring pro doorbell which has to be hardwire I call a lot of people and non of them knew what to do. These guys are the real deal I called them out of the blue in the morning and by 3 as promised on the job fixing things. By the time I get home they are done and did not even collect payment for the job. You need any electrical call them first. I will be using them from now on, on all my jobs.

Todd and the Penna Electric team are awesome!! They do amazingly great work and are thorough and clean. I've used them for about 4-5 jobs now and every time they have been the best. In fact our inspector came over and was in a VERY bad mood until he started looking at our job -- said it was a breath of fresh air -- finally a contractor that knows their trade and performs it very well -- Passed inspection with flying colors. thanks Todd!!

I've recently used Joel on a few projects - recessed lighting, swapped out a bad breaker, and helped me change a light fixture.  

My experience has been great with him - his work is really clean, and on time.  Not sure what else you can ask for.

Very disappointed. Leland seems a great guy. Came out and had a solution to a complex problem and sent quote which I accepted. Then ghosted with family problems the reason. Absolutely no reply to any calls or texts.
Feel badly for his situation but wonder why he simply disappeared.
Wondering why he answered a similar complaint on Yelp with same excuse.
The least you can do, pal...

Eduardo and his worker were punctual and prepared, cooperated with me to figure out the best solution to my problem (an EV charger installation with some quirks), and worked quickly and competently. The price was comparable to or slightly higher than the quotes from other electricians, but there were no extra charges tacked on after starting work and I appreciate someone who respects my time and opinions.

Had the most positive experience. I needed changes in the breaker panel and some socket repairs. Celso was on time, very polite, did the job quick and left everything neat and tidy after himself. Definitely recommend his services, he will save you money and time for sure. Thank you Celso, I will call you if I ever need electrician again.

FINALLY - an electrician that is honest, fair priced, pleasant to work with and above all knowledgeable and skilled. I had a complex exterior lighting issue at my house thanks to terrible seller's realtors in not handing over information on how to work things in the house. This one perplexed me and all my handyman friends until Yuri showed and did one walk through of my property and then diagnosed and fixed the issue. He arrived just two hours after I called to check his availability. He will no doubt be my go-to electrician here on out as its so rare to find good trade people in LA.
