Our outdoor outlet blew out yesterday, which meant we suddenly had no hot water in the house. I called Alex, and he was here within a few hours, fixing a bad job from a different electrician, and with a great attitude. His rate was very reasonable and he texted as he was arriving. He really saved the day for our family. Highly recommend this company.

Had an appointment for 8 am. They arrived 15 minutes early and waited in the van until the appointment time. Had them swap out two ceiling fans and a light fixture. They quoted me a price, did the work, and were gone in 45 minutes. Fast, friendly, courteous and professional. Will use again.

My mother, who is 88, needed five smoke detectors replaced, a socket replaced, an under cabinet light replaced (I sent pictures, he came prepared), and a Ring doorbell installed. Everyone else said we needed a transformer to install the Ring doorbell, but he looked at the wiring and said we'd be fine as the voltage was high enough. He then helped us configure the app so it was working properly.

Couldn't have gone any better. They are my new electricians, hands down.

I used Nathan to re-wire for a new microwave in my kitchen in my previous residence last summer, as well as replace some faulty fire alarms. He was always available, prompt and friendly. When I recently moved, I called him again to install some new ceiling fans.  In fact, not only were his guys were at my house early the day they installed the fans, but Nathan brought me coffee. I called at 10:30am and Phil and Hunter were here by 12pm! They were both friendly and professional. They fixed our problem quickly and helped guide us on how to address an additional appliance problem. I 100% recommend them and will definitely be using them again! :)

I was in a jam and needed a licensed electrician to pull permits and hardwire smoke detectors for a rental unit within a short period of time.   They gave me the lowest estimate, made suggestions on the best way to go about the work, pulled the permits and finished the work quickly.   I would definitely hire them again for any electrical work I need done in the future.

This company has been consistently good and professional for YEARS. With all the frustration of the various home repair outfits out there, it is such a great feeling when you have a good company. It's almost like you don't want others to know how good they are because they might get too busy.

Great service.  They were on time and did a great job fixing a bad light switch and installing new flood lights and ring equipment on my duplex.  They were up front about prices and there were no surprises.  Both techs were very nice and helped me program the ring equipment answering all of my questions.   I highly recommend them and will use them again.

I know they're going to try to chalk this up to a miscommunication as the reason they didn't keep the appointment (which is completely inaccurate), but they made NO effort to reschedule. NONE. This tells me there was no real intention to come out even without a miscommunication.  ZERO stars from me.

UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO PENNA'S response below:  You say you're not sure if I'm addressing the right company (I am), but then go on to acknowledge misleading details of our conversation.  The truth is that I set one appointment, and then someone on the team called shortly thereafter to push it to the next day at the same time, which I confirmed.  One important, but omitted, detail:  when you said that I didn't confirm the date -- again, inaccurate -- I asked for an alternative date, but you offered nothing. You said you didn't have the manpower for the service call.  You basically said GOOD LUCK.  You didn't show any willingness to reach a decent outcome. You sent me on my way.  That tells me that even if the appointment was confirmed, you didn't have the people to fulfill the request.  Is that right?  You didn't really have an intention to make the service call.  

In looking at other reviews, this is a common theme.  Shame on me for not catching that sooner.  You live and learn, I guess.

I highly recommend this great company. I chose to go with them because the communication was clear. The other companies were throwing me high estimates before coming out to assess the problem. One even said they would change our smog detectors. LOL. Our smoke detectors went off in the middle of the night. We tried changing the batteries and re setting but they continued to chirp. The father and son team came out and determined that one was defective setting off the others. That was replaced as well as the carbon monoxide detector closest to the kitchen by a smoke and carbon monoxide detector which was good advice. All the work was done at an extremely reasonable price and they thoroughly vacuumed up the work area.

Really went out of his way for a small but unusual repair. Prompt, courteous, professional, efficient.

Eduardo and his worker were punctual and prepared, cooperated with me to figure out the best solution to my problem (an EV charger installation with some quirks), and worked quickly and competently. The price was comparable to or slightly higher than the quotes from other electricians, but there were no extra charges tacked on after starting work and I appreciate someone who respects my time and opinions.

We actually had Kings Electric 2 jobs.  The first one was to replace very old timing switches for our building. He did a great job, at a great rate, and even stayed for quite a while after the work was completed to be certain that all of the timers were properly set and working.  During the time he was waiting, he attempted to fix some exterior lights that hadn't worked in years (wiring/conduit/water damage issues)...at no additional charge!

The second job was in our unit and called for 3 light fixtures to be replaced or repaired. The new fixtures were installed perfectly and the one that needed repairing required a part to be ordered (once the problem was identified). He offered to return and install the part when it arrives. Again, at no additional charge!

He's very pleasant and careful about his work, and absolutely COVID compliant at all times.  We're already planning the next job for our building. And we've already recommended him to family and friends who are in need of a great electrician with good prices!

Spent $6K with Got Light installing new ceiling lights and an EV charger.  Alex and his team were very responsive initially.  Once the work was completed and they were paid, Alex became totally unresponsive when I contacted him to tell him about an issue with the lights they installed.  All 12 of our ceiling lights in the living room flicker and dim randomly and I've attempted 3 times to get a response from Alex and have heard nothing.  If they don't respond to support their work, I will be filing a complaint with the state contractors license board and take legal action to get them to address this poor workmanship.  In my mind, what makes a contractor good or great is how well they support their customers AFTER they cashed the check and are fully paid.  Has Alex and the rest of his Got Light team stood by their work only a few weeks after they cashed their last check? So far the answer is no.  Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your electrical needs.

I had a couple of ceiling fans that I wanted to replace and was counting on my usual handyman to do so. When he came out he pointed out that the original installations were somewhat Micky Mouse in terms of the electrical and he suggested I have an electrician make things right.  So after browsing Yelp I found Yuri.  I called and he quickly got back to me.  I explained that I needed two J-boxes installed in the attic and he provided a quote on the phone that seemed fair.  He was able to arrange coming a day or so later and he and his helper got the electrical property sorted and asked if we also wanted the new fans installed.  Price on that was very fair also.  Both he and his helper were very friendly, efficient, and clean.  I would HIGHLY recommend Yuri.

Cesar was quick to respond to my message and provided a detailed estimate. He answered all of my questions. The workers were on time, efficient and professional. I would highly recommend The EV Guys!
