Best Electricians in Los Angeles, CA

I discovered two weeks before my HVAC installation that my main panel, Zinsco branded, was 1) insufficiently powered and 2) more importantly, a fire and shock* hazard. I suggest you look them up yourself.

Part of my requirements was also to make sure my entire electrical system and subpanel were in good shape.

I interviewed four electrical companies: Alex was fairly priced and he answered every question I aksed in detail.

I ended up doing a 200A main panel upgrade, fixing all the issues with the subpanel, and adding several desperately needed indoor and outdoor outlets. He and his crew of seven showed up on time and knocked it out in a single day. Inspection passed in about 3 minutes.

Looking forward to my next projects, I'm glad I found a contractor I can trust and does quality work.

Recently I had some electrical work done in my kitchen from Madison electric. I was really impressed with the job and would definitely recommend Nathan to friends and family. Nathan listened to what it was that I wanted  and was very helpful when it came to things I wasn't unsure of. We just had a chandelier and bathroom light fixture installed by Penna Electric, and the work was great. Two electricians arrived for the job, they were prompt, polite and easy to work with. The job wasn't the easiest in the world as we have a vaulted ceiling with no existing wiring. Fortunately it was no problem for these guys, and they did a great job.

Our company needed some electrical work done ASAP on a commercial/residential home. I called literally 10 electricians in my area, no one could come same day and quotes were very pricey.

Jay was in the middle of something but was able to squeeze us in. He came same day to give a quote and even came back later that day to fix our electrical problem.

The quote was very affordable which is a plus for our non-profit. We will definitely use him again if needed and we recommend his services.

I couldn't recommend B&K more. I had a grounding issue on an overhead can, a burnt out dimmer, and mis-wired landscape lighting. B&K was right on time, friendly, professional, and did fantastic work. Not only did he take care of all the issues immediately and bring exactly the right parts, he even noticed an error on charging me and came back right away to fix it. I hadn't even noticed and he said his math had been wrong and I actually owed less, amazing. One of the most honest and professional experiences I've had with a company in LA. Had a great experience with Eduardo of Blueprint Electric. He responded quickly,  provided a reasonable quote, offered good suggestions, and completed the work shortly thereafter. He installed some recessed exterior lighting on our garage and replaced the transformer for our landscape lighting. We are extremely pleased with the quality of the work and overall professionalism. We'll be hiring him for additional work.

Hector from Got Light Electric in Torrance responded promptly to my call to install 2 new ceiling boxes from which I intend to hang pendant lamps at a later date.  He arrived on time, clean and with the tools and supplies necessary to do the work.  He progressed quickly and efficiently with no unnecessary holes or mess.  (The painters were also on site wanting to mask that room for a new coat of color so having the work proceed smoothly was important.)

As far as demeanor and decorum, there was no music or unnecessary noise or goofing around.  I would feel comfortable having Hector work in my mother's home if that is an indication of comfort.

THE PROECT:  With no attic space overhead all work was done from a ladder.  The Romex was in the ceiling somewhere but the drywall covered up the loose tail -- no box had been installed when the house was built.  So the job grew to installing 3 boxes on fan hangars.  And since LED is taking over as the price comes down he changed a Lutron rocker-style switch to a slide dimmer that is rated for incandescents, fluorescents and LEDs.  He also changed another dimmer so I would be able to make the switch to LEDs seamlessly.

IN CONCLUSION:  The price I felt was fair and reasonable.  I expect to call Got Light Electric when switching over to LEDs for all the recessed ceiling fixtures -- I feel that comfortable.

Yuri was absolutely great.  I couldnt open my electric gate to get off the property on a recent Sat. morning.  I looked up reviews for my area on Yelp since I am new to the area and picked him due to the great reviews - glad I did.  He could tell I was stressed out from this and was over in less than an hour.  He figured out what was wrong on a large property in less than an hour.  I would definitely use him again for a problem!!!!!!!!!!!
