Orlando rewired the electrical outlet for the new dishwasher I bought. I was quoted by another electrician for $750 to do the work that Orlando did for half the price. Tremendous savings. Moreover Orlando patched the existing hole
on the wall for no extra charge. From here on he is THE electrician for my household.

I had a great experience with Wil this weekend, after a storm destroyed an outdoor outlet.  He was easy to reach, and even before we discussed my issues, Wil offered some electrical advice for my home (e.g., unplugging my toaster between uses), which gave me confidence that he focuses on safety beyond simply following electrical code.  

Wil was booked for the day but, as a stopgap, was generous with his advice to get my water heater powered up for the weekend.  I'm looking forward to getting Wil here to tackle a few other electrical projects next.

I hired them to install 2 GFICs, and both Jason and Devin are very professional. I am very satisfied with the job, will definitely recommend them.

Avila Electric is amazing! I called over the weekend with a non-urgent job and Elder showed up at 8am on Monday and was in and out in an hour. He was able to trouble shoot the problem and correct my outlet quickly. He also took a look at my sub panel to make sure that it was in good working order before he left. I called multiple electricians and his prices were better than everyone!

I called Roc Electric due to an emergency type electrical issue/power outage at my parents' house on a very hot evening. The AC was one of the things that went out, which was not good for my folks with health issues. I briefly explained the issue to Fernando on his voicemail message; he called me back right away, & I further explained the urgent nature of the call. Despite it being late/going home time, Fernando stated he'd be at the house within an hour. Guess who showed up promptly within the hour, as promised (when many other places/people weren't able to come out because it was too late)?...Fernando from Roc Electric showed up, clean & ready to investigate & fix the timely issue, helping us out in our time of need! Fernando got to business quickly, while still being patient with my folks, which I appreciate. He fixed the issue, offering additional helpful advice on how to prevent issues in the future. He even personally helped move their microwave to a better outlet to help ease the present electrical suck, which was super helpful. Fernando offered helpful advice. He could have upsold a bunch of things or inflated his price, but he didn't. He was aware and conscious of budget for my folks. Kudos to him for that for not being a predator upon older folks with health issues. He got their power working again, including the AC. Thank you, Fernando with Roc Electric!

First off Israel is an excellent electrician and even more an honest man that doesn't try to rack up the price unnecessarily. My husband and I had multiple quotes from electricians in the AV that priced the job double if not more than Israel. When Israel came he was professional and honest. He quoted us what he'd charge and even went as far as to explain exactly what he would do and how long the job would take. What was even more pleasing is that he suggested we use the concealable outlets that pop in and out on our kitchen island. No other electrician company that came to offer quotes even suggested this, this told us Israel was innovative and sensitive to our needs. In our eyes there is no one better! Even though Israel is new to the AV I would highly suggest that you use him above all other competitors, he will be better on your budget, sensitive to your needs, and all around perform the job above level. Israel as well as his employees are exceptional and I pray his business increases beyond measure, he truly deserves it.

This is an update after showing a couple of people including my apt manager the job this company did. Although Jeremy was quite accommodating and his staff Raul and John were extremely friendly, their other friend seemed rather clueless. He was at Home Depot FOREVER. We waited forever for this guy as we needed the plug for the guys to start work. When the guys called him to see what he hadn't bought the simple plug thing, he said he couldn't find it. Within 20 seconds I, a woman who knows nothing about Home Depot and equipment went online and looked up what aisle it was in and let him know. Seems like he should have thought of it.
Granted this job was difficult due to how my 1930s apt building is designed, but making 14 holes in the walls, seems rather excessive. All the holes were around 4sq give or take 1-2 inches. Everyone who has seen the holes thought it was pretty crazy since I had to pay $400.00 (although Jeremy quoted me around $300.00  plus I gave 2 of the guys each a $40.00 tip. As it was getting to be evening they said they could come back and patch the next day but I declined (like an idiot) as I had to work the following day. I now need to pay someone around $200.00 to patch 14 holes that I attempted to fix and failed miserably.
They left exposed wires in the hallway and I texted John at 323-809-3641 asking where they put the lid to the crawl space they had to climb through and never heard from him. I never heard back from him. (Perhaps I had the wrong number)
So 2 weeks later, there is still a huge hole in the hallway ceiling as I still can't find the lid but I guess I have to climb up there and climb all the way in which freaks me out.
This company is obviously a good place as they have great reviews. I think this must have been a really off day. I didn't know if leaving 14 big holes in the wall was due to my old building being difficult which is why I left a good review originally and also tipped on top of that. After all the comments and look of horror, I thought I better leave a more accurate review as the things I ignored, should not have been ignored.

Tim has worked on a number of projects at our home over the last couple of years and has done extremely high quality work each time. In a recent project in which he was doing extensive re-wiring for a remodel of both our bathrooms his work drew high praise from the main contractor foreman who also has an electrician on staff. In addition, I have always found his estimates to be extremely reasonable and accurate. I have referred him to many people and highly recommend him.

Ryan Electric is great. I had an electrical issue that needed fixing right away and Mr. Ryan came within hours and fees were very reasonable. And very friendly staff.

Look folks. I was desperate. Half of my outlets were dead, including the one to the fridge. Desperately looking for someone who could come on short notice, I found Jason and Boris right here on Yelp. I have trust issues with people. I sent a request via Yelp and Jason and Boris got back to me straight away. I was fielding quotes and some people who just couldn't come on a weekend. I asked if I could speak to someone at AES. Jason called me in two minutes. Not impressed? I was asking to speak to him at 23:16 (11:16PM) on a Saturday night. Who would call a potential client back that late? I'll tell you. People who care. Jason talked to me on the phone with me quite anxious. He calmed me down and explained what he thought the problem was. He said, Don't worry. We got you. That's all I needed to hear. Jason and Boris show up on time today and were as friendly as family. They explained everything, left no outlet unturned and fixed the problem. What really amazed me is that when Jason was pulling out wire and re-wiring and hook this wire to that wire, it was like watching a phenom solve a Rubik's cube in 6 seconds flat. And as he saw the relief on my face as my outlets came back to life, he smiled with pride. These exceptional gentlemen and wonderful electricians are in my phone favorites next to my best friend. They will treat you with kindness, respect, and re-assurance. They are graceful gentlemen who know their business backwards and forwards. Love these guys.

Martin helped me rewire the first floor and upgrade my main panel to 200 amps. He also rewired some items from the old subpanel to the new. I highly recommend him for a few reasons. First, he met all the timelines he gave me, from securing the permit to finishing exactly when he said he would. He also was nice enough to do a few small tasks for me for free. I was worried about the electrical work before we staretd just because of stories I've heard in general, but Martin did great, and I'm glad other people's reviews helped me find him.

Mike was extremely helpful and gave me the best price (he halved my second lowest price) They came to my house the next day. Chris did the installations and was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgable and quick. They were so great (and cheap!) we decided to instal more lighting. Mike even came to visit to see how the work was going. I am so happy I found you guys. Thanks!!!!!

Jack and his Dad from Emergency Electric One were prompt and professional. They responded quickly with a quote and didn't try to upsell any unnecessary work. The install went smoothly, and their prices are reasonable compared to the rest. I will continue to work with them on future projects.

We emphatically and enthusiastically recommend Adrian and his hard-working crew for all your electrical needs. They removed our old, outdated lighting and replaced it with new, modern recessed lights throughout the house. Adrian was professional, responsive and adapted to my changing requests with ease. At the last minute, I decided to add two more lights than we originally discussed and requested the replacement of several smoke detectors. He was completely understanding.

What really stands out about Adrian and his team are their exceptional professionalism and dedication to detail and cleanliness. They covered all of our furniture and left the house clean at the end of every day. In the past, we have worked with many rude contractors who left trash behind and were not attentive to the cleanliness of our home. Mendez Electrical is fairly priced. Adrian was upfront about all the pricing and accurate in determining how long the work would take. He initially told us it would take three days and it did. We are very pleased with the result of their work.

My wife and I had bought a fancy new washer and dryer and the outlet in our home which was a twist lock had to be replaced with a  3 prong. We also had him install a lighting fixture that I had neglected to install as well :)
Enrique called ahead to let us know that he would be a little early.  He worked very cleanly and finished quickly and finished on cost without any hidden charges.  
We plan to use him again for future work.

Prompt reply after leaving message, estimate for service lower than all the other companies.  Two electricians came and did a great job, and the actual price was even lower than originally quoted.  Very happy and will use again!
