Best Electricians in Los Angeles, CA

This year we've decided to do a couple renovations inside and outside of the house and one of them was getting our landscape lights installed in the front of the house after seeing a couple videos online, and thought hey that's pretty neat! Got a bunch of quotes from electricians but not a lot of them knew what I was talking about, that's until we found Tom with T&M! He is very skilled at what he does and works diligently, asked us a lot of important questions that we needed to figure out as well!

Conejo Valley Electric came highly recommended from a neighbor... What started off as replacing some sockets, turned out to be a ceiling fan, garage lighting, replaced smoke alarms, and some recessed lighting to come...

Brain, the owners son, is amazing. He came out and did a tremendous job. If you want to check him out on TikTok it is well worth it. You can see what he does in action and it is impressive. His handle is @BrianRidge22 - His associate Derek who came with him was very capable, creative, and highly skilled and efficient as an electrician. Derek was not as talkative as he was focused on getting the projects done, but he and Brian have a very good working partnership when on a job site.

They are well worth the price and the work is efficient, professional, and solid.  Thank you Brian Ridge and Derek for your amazing work to literally brighten up our home.

Peter is amazing! I called him on a Saturday night and he walked me through my breaker issue by simply looking at a picture. This was affecting my fridge and kitchen and gave me a quick fix over the phone. He is kind hearted, friendly, and definitely someone who I'll be using in the future and would refer friends and family to. Thanks again Peter! My entire family thanks you!!!

Gary is exceptional.  Always talking through the problem and providing realistic quotes.  He is timely and has always completed on the time he estimated.  He is willing to talk through situations and provide feedback on different options.  I only trust a certain few on contractors and he is one of them.  Recommend him for any electrical needs as he is our go to and he also has provided contacts when I needed patch and paint.

Chris and his team were great! Reasonably priced, arrived on time, and when the ceiling fan they installed in our vaulted ceilings was faulty they came back a week later free of charge to replace the receiver after I'd gotten a replacement. I'd recommend him to anyone!

Welp, this definitely could've gone better.

We reached out to American Electric Service in hopes they could 1) mount/wire 2 sconces on a bookshelf with pre-existing wiring and 2) complete the wiring for our towel warmer rack.

Even before they came out, I had received a couple quotes in the $250-350 range. In hopes of not wasting their time or mine, I specifically communicated this to them, explaining that -- while I understood they required an on-site check (for nonrefundable $25 fee) to give me an exact estimate -- this was my target. ***I also asked that if they anticipated they would be wildly off from that range, to simply let me know so we could save everyone the hassle.*** They informed it was still productive/worthwhile to continue forward with this in mind.

Cut to: their electrician at my house quoting me a price of nearly $2100. This was exactly the scenario I feared. In an attempt to make SOMETHING work, I set aside the towel rack and tried to negotiate a fair deal for them to simply install the sconces. They quoted me a price of $450, still well above my previous estimates. In an effort to be a good customer, I increased my own budget target and offered to hire them at $350, the top price of my estimates. This felt MORE than fair, especially as I (the customer!) was willing to spend more to make it work. They declined this offer and still took my $25 despite every effort I made to prevent this exact thing from happening.

In the end: it seems my $25 estimate fee really just confirmed that AES is most interested in squeezing out the money rather than communicating effectively with clients or making professional efforts to complete a job. I would encourage other customers to look elsewhere.

Mike was awesome!  He was knowledgeable and courteous. He was able to see me the day I was available.  He broke down the problem in simple terms.  I knew exactly what the problem was and what he needed to do to get the repair done.  No doublespeak to try to confuse me.  His price was fair.  He also advised me of some potential future work I may need to get done and quoted me that as well.  He did not pressure me at all.  I will call him again.

For the past few months, I've been looking for electrician to install a high ceiling light fixture for my parents. The majority of firms either didn't have the ladder or quoted an exorbitant price. I contacted P&W, and they scheduled an appointment for my parents to receive an estimate. The estimate was reasonable, and Patric scheduled the job right away. Professionalism and attention to detail!

So 11 months later he sends me a message asking how he can make this up to me (i.e., get me to change my review). What on earth does he expect to do 11 months after the fact? I've already hired someone to take care of the issue (and quite well) almost a year ago.  There is nothing you can do for me to get me to LIE for you and change my review. This man has no integrity, no scruples, and bad character.

Craig installed a 220 feed for a new pool pump and did a great job at a reasonable price.  He showed up when he said he would and finished the job early.  The work is very professional.  Feel safe in calling upon him to work at your house.  A rare instance where a contractor turned out much better than I hoped.

I called and same day I was helped! Bobby was very professional and the service was immediate. I had trouble getting the new lights in my kitchen to work. The place who installed them (supposedly a 5star place) wouldn't get back to me for about a week. Bobby was there the evening I called! They are definitely my go to now.

He was Great! Same day service. After I had to call several and were not available. My power went out in my additional room. He figured out the problem in under an hour. Chris was not only on time, but tackled the problem right away. I highly recommend Guzman Electric. He charged a fair price. I will be calling him back for future work. Thanks again Chris.

Chris was great!  We were doing a refresh of our bathroom and needed some electrical work done in order to move the light.  We attempted to start the job ourselves and got stuck.  We contacted Chris for an estimate and he was able to come out and complete the job the same day!  

He was professional, honest, fast and he charged us less than his original estimate!  We won't hesitate to contact them for any of our electrical needs in the future.

Nice guys, COVID safe, and quickly and efficiently fixed some ungrounded outlets in my house. They sent a follow-up email with photos of the work they did, which was a nice, unexpected touch. Thanks!

I was in need of Backyard trail lighting repair for about 24 lights. Walter was wonderful very professional, quick helpful and did a great job. Victor & his crew were great. Turns out that Victor was part of the crew that installed my solar panels 7 years ago so it was a short of homecoming. He gave me a fair price and did the work on the same day that I reached out on Yelp. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Terrific experience with Bryden Electrical. Our remodeling project went south due to a lousy contractor and a lousy electrician. Bryden came in and fixed all the problems created by the two clowns we originally hired to do  the job. Bryden electricians are very professional and they know their job. Brian, the owner, is absolutely a pleasure to work with. He is honest, fair, and very knowledgeable.

Would absolutely recommend. We had a time sensitive project repairing water damage in some drywall and he exceeded our needs in time, efficiency and quality of his work. His pricing was very affordable.

Bill and his two assistants replaced track lighting in two room with new ceiling fixtures, installed a ceiling light/fan in a room with 12' ceiling, changed out broken outlet, replaced old light bulbs with LED's in 8 very high-up ceiling fixtures. All in 4 hours and for a great price. He even suggested a better, less expensive way to install the ceiling fan than what we thought would have to be done. Plus he always returned phone calls promptly.
