Best Electricians in Los Angeles, CA

This is the second electrician I tried based upon Yelp reviews.  The first didn't call back, so I went to this one.  I can't explain the reason for my bad luck, but after leaving two voice messages within one week, I have yet to receive a call back.  From either company actually.  This might be part of the reason contractors have a generally bad reputation.  Anyway, this has been my only exposure to Yelp and it has been underwhelming.  I created an account just to be able to put in my 2 cents.  Bottom line, I hope I have been an exception.  Based on all the other reviews I feel I must be, but nonetheless, it happened and I can only provide the lowest possible rating as a result.  This Yelp experience has wasted 2 weeks as I patiently waited for calls that never came.  I have since gone with a company selected outside of Yelp and it has been what a paying customer would expect.  Prompt call back, appointment made, appointment kept, etc.

Mike and Robert are THE BEST! They know what they're doing, they're reliable, trustworthy and considerate. Challenging to say that about vendors these days, but Mike and Robert remind me of how things used to be. They have done two jobs for us here in Pasadena. We 150% recommend them. Wish we had more electrical work to be done!

This is the first time I've used Accurate and Ray was amazing! I needed to get a dedicated circuit put in my 89 yr old mother's house ASAP due to this heat! He reviewed her home carefully and was able to get it installed that day! I am so pleased with his excellent service and knowledge! Now mom, my sisters, and I will be cool as we care for her during the rest of the 100+ degree days ahead this summer!

Jay and Justin were phenomenal! I got a new AC unit installed and needed an outlet changed due to voltage requirements. Other electricians were quoting me $1000-$1300 and 2 week waits. Jay came within 30 minutes and was out within 30 minutes. Super professional and kind. He is my go-to electrician!

We made an appointment for 10am today that we made 3 weeks ago and put down a deposit to confirm the appointment. They no showed and when we called at 10:30a to see where they were they told us that they were no longer coming and were unable to come. They even called at 6pm the night before leaving a message confirming the appointment. Horrible horrible business practice! They have our money and decided not to show up! The man then tried to argue with my husband and I blaming us for their no show.

I had a wonderful experience with this company. Angel came out with his assistant Sergio the same day I called him. Angel had my problem solved within minutes. He was on time, professional, personable (Sergio, as well) and very reasonable. Give Angel a call...you will be happy you did... seriously!!

Just had them fix a bunch of minor problems found during purchase inspection they did.

They made a minor mistake during work that showed up later. Amir and Lou immediately came back and fixed and ran a complete test on everything again.

Human error but immediately fixed. That's great service.

I didn't end up using The Electrician but in providing an estimate virtually he was very thorough and asked good questions. He was also responsive with my questions and provided some good tips as well.

Next time I have a project for an electrician I know where to start no need for all the flurry of quotes that come when you start a project on Yelp.

Came across Meza Electric when I was looking to install a charger for my Tesla, and I'm so glad that I did!  Everything about them was top notch.  Paul came out and explained very clearly what needed to be done, including answering all of my questions and walked through different scenarios.  And while I learned I actually needed to have a few other things done as a result, I never once felt pressured or coerced and I was very thankful for Paul's guidance.

Paul's brother Erick came out to do the job and he was just as incredible.  He was patient, courteous, and knowledgable, walking me through and explaining each task he was doing .  He was responsive through text, on time, and actually ended up going above and beyond on the task at hand and doing more than he needed.

I am very thankful to have come across Meza Electric and should I need additional electrical work done, I will absolutely be reaching out!

I just used R&K to install a light fixture and they couldn't have been better.  Rich was accommodating to my schedule and showed up exactly when he said he would be there.  He even replaced a missing nut.  The cost was exactly what he quoted.  Ignore the need for paint in my picture, that's totally on me.  I would definitely use him again.

I checked out the reviews of other electricians and decided to call JIMZ electric. I spoke with Victor and told him what job I needed to be done at our home. I also requested what time he should come because I had other stuff to do. I was impressed that Victor showed up exactly on time and did a perfect job at a reasonable price. I like Victor's easygoing personality and we talked as if we knew each other a long time. I will definitely use this company if I needed another electrical job. I highly recommend JIMZ electric. I would highly recommend Eric for any time of electrical job. He's going to be my go to guy for my next few jobs. I got referred to Eric by a friend and he sure didn't let me down. Very efficient and professional. I needed a job done asap and he didn't hesitate. Got it done fast and clean. One of the cleanest electrical panel installs I've seen!

Alejandro was awesome! AMG responded within seconds to my request to have them checkout an electrical issue at my home. Alejandro was out to check on it within an hour after calling. Fastest service I've ever experienced. He was professional and very knowledgeable and knew exactly what the issue was and offered a solution right away. I'm not very 'electrical savvy' but he took the time to explain the ins and outs of my problem to where I understood and felt comfortable. I called to have an electrician fix a ceiling fan problem I had in my house. The person I spoke to on the phone got me an appointment quick. I was told the owner was coming. The gentleman showed up and 1. Acres like he didn't want to really be here 2. Fixed the problem but didn't fix it very efficiently or the way I explained it, and 3. He case another problem! The fan and light will not turn off!! As soon as I turn the fan and light on, it won't shut off! The remote to the fan isn't functioning properly either. It's turned into a bigger mess I've called and left a message but I've received no response from the company. I paid $135 for another problem. I'm very disappointed.

Working with Roland is a breath of fresh air. He is knowledgeable, reasonable, and just great to work with. He will walk you through everything so you are educated on what is needed and what he is doing.

He did a variety of things for us from running new wire to installing new lighting, TVs, outlets, and more. He thinks through every situation and can see the big picture as well as the detailed task at hand. We did a full renovation on our place and Roland made sure that everything to do with electrical was in thorough order upon completion.

As a project manager, I have a high standard for service providers. Many of the contractors that I am satisfied with and recommend to others, I rate 4 stars. It is rare to find a 5 star quality provider like Roland. He's the kind of contractor that you look forward to calling again.

Contacted Nick via Yelp. He responded immediately with a reasonable quote. He came over at the times he promised for inspection and actual work. I was happy to have a certified electrician install my level 2 charging with a good price. I will definitely use his services again. Highly recommended.
