UPDATE FEB. 2020: Had some lights go dead after resetting some circuit breakers. Called Mike at So. Bay and he was extremely helpful in fitting me into his busy schedule. He had just returned from a short vacation the night before but let me know he could drop by if I could wait until the evening. He confirmed our appointment later today and arrived about 30 minutes later. He diagnosed the problem right away and took care of replacing the defective breakers in a flash. This guy is the BEST. I wouldn't call anybody else unless Mike was just too booked and it was an emergency. If you can wait for his schedule to open you won't be sorry. He is honest and knows his stuff. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I needed a major panel upgrade and sub-panel to bring power to the backyard (to power a new gate) pretty quickly. It was the CA raining season and they came when the weather allowed and completed the install in 2 days. Fully inspected and passed without issue. Mike and Robert have been doing this for a while and they are both great. Friendly, responsive, efficient all that you need with electricians.

They recommended all the right things and got me squared away in no time at all. I got a few quotes and they were not the cheapest - but do you really want to cheap out on electrical work?

They are local and we want to support local businesses. That means they care about the neighborhoods they work in.

If you need a licensed, responsive and local professional electrician - then they are your team. Can't recommend them enough.

Amazing work by the team over at JMJP Electric! After looking into several different companies I was so glad to have been referred to them. I needed an electrical panel upgraded and an outlet installed on the side of my house to support these new stringing lights I wanted to put in my backyard, and they were able to do so in such a professional and timely manner. If you're looking to get any electrical work done in the LA area JMJP Electric are the ones to go to!

I already had a 5.1 setup, but I wanted to add 4 in-ceiling speakers for Dolby Atmos. As it was a completed room with no attic space, I knew I needed a professional to install the speakers. I contacted several companies on Yelp, but ended up going with Big Ben Mounts because they're licensed electricians and their quote was well below everyone else.

Shlomi and Miguel arrived on time, and were wearing masks. After answering a few questions and explaining where I wanted to place the speakers, they were able to finish the installation (including fishing the wires) in about 2 hours. They were extra careful not to make a mess (vacuuming while sawing the drywall) and cleaned up afterwards. I also was impressed that they were able to fish the wires only by making two small additional holes, which they patched well. After testing the speakers, they hooked them up to the receiver, and cleaned up afterwards.

Overall I'm very pleased with the job they did and will definitely keep them in mind if I need to do anything similar in the future.

I had a wonderful experience with this company. Angel came out with his assistant Sergio the same day I called him. Angel had my problem solved within minutes. He was on time, professional, personable (Sergio, as well) and very reasonable. Give Angel a call...you will be happy you did... seriously!!

Amir and his team are solid and responded fast. We used him first for an inspection when buying a house. He was thorough and very communicative writing a nice report. After buying the home we've discovered problems with the sellers work that were in the walls. Amir sent someone out right away and is helping us. Didn't want to leave us without power. He's helped to point out the the shady things the seller's contractor did after our inspection. I'm so grateful someone is making my home safe. The city didn't! Thank you so much Amir and Lou!

I didn't end up using The Electrician but in providing an estimate virtually he was very thorough and asked good questions. He was also responsive with my questions and provided some good tips as well.

Next time I have a project for an electrician I know where to start no need for all the flurry of quotes that come when you start a project on Yelp.

Came across Meza Electric when I was looking to install a charger for my Tesla, and I'm so glad that I did!  Everything about them was top notch.  Paul came out and explained very clearly what needed to be done, including answering all of my questions and walked through different scenarios.  And while I learned I actually needed to have a few other things done as a result, I never once felt pressured or coerced and I was very thankful for Paul's guidance.

Paul's brother Erick came out to do the job and he was just as incredible.  He was patient, courteous, and knowledgable, walking me through and explaining each task he was doing .  He was responsive through text, on time, and actually ended up going above and beyond on the task at hand and doing more than he needed.

I am very thankful to have come across Meza Electric and should I need additional electrical work done, I will absolutely be reaching out!

At work we need repairs completed from time to time and I was looking for a handy man that I could rely upon for any current and future repairs. I read though many profiles on Yelp looking for the right person/company to initiate an ongoing business relationship with. I'm an office manager who works for a Fortune 500 tech company that ranks within the top ten; needless to say that professionalism is a must.

After reviewing R & K's profile on Yelp, I reviewed their website. They seemed professional, had their license (I didn't verify, I just saw it listed on their homepage), and appeared to perform decent work. Everything looked great until I picked up the phone and dialed. First, to my surprise, the male who answered the phone sounded as if I had woken him up from a nap with a drowsy sounding hello... Thinking that I had misdialed I asked him if this was R & K Tradesmen. Unfortunately my mere question or perhaps my professional tone gave him the impression that I was trying to sell him something... Literally! In a rather curt manner his response was, Yes it is. What are you selling.   Please note the period, rather than the question mark. Stunned, I started to explain to him that I was actually calling for his business and before I could even finish my sentence he cut me off asking me what I needed done. At this point I'd had enough, told him to never mind and to have a good day. I was done.

Absolutely impressive...

This first impression was absolutely terrible. Perhaps if you're a homeowner and have a one-off job, they might be ok to deal with, but if you're looking for someone to call on again in the future, I say it's worth taking their attitude into consideration. As for me, I'll take my company's business elsewhere... Thank you.

Excellent work. Was courteous and professional. Was able to troubleshoot my electrical problem And fix it within the hour. Reasonably priced. Will definitely use his services in the future.

Eric has helped us with whole house rewiring. The first time I met him I realized right away he has so many years of experience and he knows what he is doing. He was brimming with energy and enthusiasm working around the clock to deliver the project on time. His workmanship was one of the most clean and perfect house rewiring I have ever seen. We passed the city inspection on the first attempt. I highly recommend his work.

Pete is very professional.  He responded promptly and gave a quote for installing electricity for our new washer dryer hookup.  It was during the holidays so it was his schedule was busy, so he could not do it for a couple of weeks and indicated that he would understand if we found someone else to do the work.  However he checked how much electricity was going through our home and promptly emailed me a quote.  

I am glad I waited for Pete to do the work.  He came as scheduled.  Did the work promptly and charged us what was quoted.  I would like to use him again for future upgrades to our place.

Alejandro was very prompt and quick. Got a free consultation with him and he arrived on time (even earlier) to see what I wanted done. Couple days later he came back (on time again) and got the job done within a couple hours. Would definitely recommend!

You WILL NOT find a better electrician anywhere.  Fast, Reliable, Courteous, Priced Right and 100% customer service oriented!   I manage a 35 unit apartment building in Sherman Oaks and have had the pleasure of working with Joshua/EL Electric for several years now.   Our vendor roster has other electricians on it but after they way they have ALWAYS taken care of our electrical needs,   I cannot imagine calling anyone else.

I would very highly recommend Star Electric Energy to anyone needing electrical work. They respond very quickly and are excellent at diagnosing and repairing electrical problems plus, their rates are very reasonable. I will most definitely call them again when I need any work done. Nick did a great job installing an 14-50R outlet at my house yesterday. They charged a fair and good price, and it was worth it given the professionalism and the excellent work-related quality. There was a minor issue with scheduling, but Nick was able to make some adjustments to accommodate my work schedule. I will definitely refer him to my friends and colleagues.
