Best Electricians in Los Angeles, CA

My West LA condo building is managed by Vines Management (now acquired by LB Property Management), who chose Mike Castro at South Bay Electric as our building's electrician over 10 years ago.  We've used Mike multiple times.  He installed exterior motion sensor safety lighting around the building, repaired exhaust fans in our corridors, and repaired fluorescent fixtures in our garage.  Thankfully, we don't have an excessive number of electrical problems so we don't have to call Mike a lot, but he's been reliable, pleasant, and professional every time.  He always makes time for our needs.

We used Mikes several years ago, great service and friendly.  July 1, 2015 called Mikes, he called and asked if they could come earlier then appointment time which worked out great for us.  His son is now working with him, both were friendly and professional and knew what they were doing, very pleased with their service.

I was very impressed by Eric and Accurate Electrical Services.  He was very prompt and courteous, and cleaned up after his work.  This was true all three times he was at our house.  First, to give an estimate.  Second, to install some of the lights that were available at the time of his appointment.  Third, to install the remaining lights that were not available at the time of his initial appointment to replace the lights.  He patiently answered all of the questions that I had each time.

I would highly recommend both Eric and Accurate Electrical.

Great overall service, I was looking to make some electrical upgrades at my new house (new perimeter lighting, ring camera installation, new outlet for the backyard) and it literally seemed like no job was too big for these guys! Everything was done in the agreed upon time and I am more than satisfied with the work that was done! Definitely will be making a call to these guys when im ready to install my EV charger in the coming months!

Big Ben mounts came and mounted four TVs for me they were quick efficient and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend.

I had a wonderful experience with this company. Angel came out with his assistant Sergio the same day I called him. Angel had my problem solved within minutes. He was on time, professional, personable (Sergio, as well) and very reasonable. Give Angel a call...you will be happy you did... seriously!!

Extremely Professional, Knowledgable and Informative Professionals! They asked great questions to make sure they met all our needs and educated us to make sure we made educated choices in our plans and lighting set up. Our lights have been working great ever since. We will use Powerhouse Electric again and I highly recommend them!

I didn't end up using The Electrician but in providing an estimate virtually he was very thorough and asked good questions. He was also responsive with my questions and provided some good tips as well.

Next time I have a project for an electrician I know where to start no need for all the flurry of quotes that come when you start a project on Yelp.

I've had the pleasure of working with Paul over the past five or six years...he's great at what he does. LICENSED and always a good/fair price. Not only has he worked on my own home on multiple occasions, I trust his work so much that I refer him to my clients... And believe me, anyone who's ever referred anybody to their own clients knows the potential headaches that could happen - but I've always had a great experience with Paul, and so have my clients! Choose Paul with absolute confidence. 5 stars!!

I contacted R&K Tradesman for a quote and they are quick to contact you back with a reply and quote. I loved how they called to ask me the details of the project before giving a quote. Unlike most places will give you a quote then jack the price up $200 or move when they arrive.

As far as the 1 and 2 Star reviews  on this company. I run my own business and I can tell you time and time again that when I client tells me they have been looking on Craigslist for work done, it will ALWAYS end bad for the company.  I always refuse to work with clients, who want to hire me after searching on Craigslist. That Old saying, You get what you pay for. 8-10 times the people, who look for work on Craigslist are either new and need to build their portfolio, don't have license or insurance.

Clients must understand, yes Companies who charge more have more cost involved.

No one goes to a restaurant and tells the location, to lower their prices because another restaurant down the street is lower. Nor does anyone after getting their groceries scan ask the Cashier to lower the price, because the 99 Cent store or Food for Less offers the same thing but cheaper.

The same thing goes for PROFESSIONAL LICENCED and INSURED workers.  You go with the people/company you can afford.

Like I said, I got other offers from other handmen on yelp, but does not mean I have ANY negative feels towards this company, because as a consumer I decided to go with company I felt best fits my budget and my needs.

When I told them I was going with someone else, they replied with a Thank you for letting them know.

I feel the 1 Star review on this site are that 10% people, who no matter what are never happy no matter how great of a job someone does. I believe Rick when he said the couple used his licence to hire a cheaper company with no licence to do the work. And if they read this, FYI it is a crime and considered Fraud when you use one Contractors License to have work done. It be a Felony Offense if Mr. Rick contacts Southern  Contractors State Licence Board CSLB's (Statewide Investigative Fraud Team)  SWIFT at 12501 East Imperial Highway, Suite 610 Norwalk, CA 90650 Office numbers (562) 345-7600. It's really simple to find out from contacting the Landlords to verify work was approved and done.

We hired Pete to install some ceiling fans. He worked with our schedule and budget easily. He even came back twice in one day (a Saturday at that) to fix a clicking noise in one of the fans. Very professional. I'd recommend him to all my friends and family.

Alejandro was awesome! AMG responded within seconds to my request to have them checkout an electrical issue at my home. Alejandro was out to check on it within an hour after calling. Fastest service I've ever experienced. He was professional and very knowledgeable and knew exactly what the issue was and offered a solution right away. I'm not very 'electrical savvy' but he took the time to explain the ins and outs of my problem to where I understood and felt comfortable. We had scheduled an appointment for today between 11a-2p. By 2:15 no call,no show. My husband called and left a message asking when the they were coming out. Got a call back saying they were behind by 2-3 hours. Why didn't anyone call us in the first place? Why put your customer in the position of having to wait for nothing rather than pick up the phone and let them know that there is a problem. They maybe good but they are not coming to our house.

Had Joe and his team install a new 220 circuit in my house. Everything from scheduling a estimate to initiating the work order was stress free and without hassle. Everything was done in a professional manner and fair pricing. Thank you for your hard work.

Roland was fantastic. He came out the next day (our choice) and gave us a fair quote for the work we wanted done. He works fast, he does honest work and offers honest recommendations, shows up on time and he cleans up after himself!
