Mike from South Bay Electric is efficient, friendly, and reliable.  I'm in the residential real estate business and have come across all kinds of tradespeople.  Mike and his guys are GREAT!  I have referred him to our clients and use his services at our own home!

We agreed to meet at 9am. He couldn't make it and did not call or text me with a heads up. Common curtesy? Maybe they think they're the only ones with jobs and places to be.

I highly recommend  this company.  Was also happily surprised it is a Christian organization.  Was treated well and respectfully.  Will definitely use them again for any future electrical needs.

After all of the heavy rains, we recently had the pool filter in our backyard lose power, and needed an electrician to come our and fix the problem.  After having a few electricians come out and provide varying opinions and cost options to correct the problem, I contacted JMJP Electric.

Jay was very responsive, came out the next day, quickly determined the root cause of the problem, and gave me a reasonable quote to install new wiring from the house to the pool filter area.

After agreeing to the price, he proceeded to begin the work that day, and completed everything in an expedient and efficient manner.  Now our pool filter is back in action, and we couldn't be happier !

Needed a TV install and Ethernet run. Pricing was competitive. I like to pay for peace of mind. You get what you pay for and I had peace of mind with Big Ben Mounts. They were on time and prepared. They were efficient. They are licensed so they can install actual power outlets behind the tv which is nice. They cleaned up after themselves. They were also helpful with recommending the height for the tv without being too overbearing. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

Also they are very good at communicating leading up to the install as well.

I had a wonderful experience with this company. Angel came out with his assistant Sergio the same day I called him. Angel had my problem solved within minutes. He was on time, professional, personable (Sergio, as well) and very reasonable. Give Angel a call...you will be happy you did... seriously!!

Half of my house was out of power when I got home from vacation. I called Powerhouse, they came out in 10 minutes, and helped me figure out what was going on. They didn't even charge me because it was a quick job on the way to their next appointment!!

I didn't end up using The Electrician but in providing an estimate virtually he was very thorough and asked good questions. He was also responsive with my questions and provided some good tips as well.

Next time I have a project for an electrician I know where to start no need for all the flurry of quotes that come when you start a project on Yelp.

I've had the pleasure of working with Paul over the past five or six years...he's great at what he does. LICENSED and always a good/fair price. Not only has he worked on my own home on multiple occasions, I trust his work so much that I refer him to my clients... And believe me, anyone who's ever referred anybody to their own clients knows the potential headaches that could happen - but I've always had a great experience with Paul, and so have my clients! I called Rich about some electrical issues I was having and without even coming out, he gave me advice if some small changes to make that are going to save me hundreds or thousands of dollars! He obviously knows his stuff and is super helpful.  It's rare these days to find someone that does business like this and actually wants to HELP their customers, but Rich is a breath of fresh air. I was having issues with my electrical panel so i reached out to Steve based on the great recommendations he's received. We apparently had a short in one of our outlets which he was able to locate and fix.  Steve was responsive and got the job done. I will definitely use him again.

Alejandro provided us with really good service. He texted me over the holiday to schedule the appointment.  He provided a time window for his arrival and though he missed it due to heavy traffic he did provide me an update to let me know. I was pleased with the work he did replacing a dryer outlet and the dryer power cord. He provided a detailed review of the work and what he did.  I felt good that he identified a ground wire that was not sufficient for the outlet and addressed it. I definitely would use Alejandro again. I am pleased with the job and his pricing was fair.

Having hired Star Electric Energy,
I  was amazed at the quality of work that was done!  I wanted electronics installed in my living room and two bedrooms. The owner came out and suggested more ways of installing instead of the  simple way I thought of.  The price was slightly more but still within my budget.  The whole work was much more attractive than I expected.  He even wired the living room TV through the wall into my kitchen so the cable box wouldn't show!  His price for the completed work was shocking.  It was so affordable, I have hired him to do more work next week.  Thank you Roland for a fantastic job !  You're the best!

Words cannot truly express how impressed I was about Nick, Gabriel, and the 2 Oscars.  But, allow me to try.

[Initial Contact]
Nick, the owner, was very on-time to do the estimate, and it didn't take long for him to get back to me.  He sent Gabriel and Oscar to come do the majority of the work, and they were extremely professional about the job.  The work involved installing new lines, fixing existing outlets, and installation of some new center-piece lighting.  And, they were on-time both days.

They did such a good job that I asked them to do EVEN MORE work, involving recessed lighting, yet another new line, and even a change of all outlets to decora.  We went from 2 days of work to 8 days of work, with 2-4 people coming every day.  By the time all was said and done, they had touched EVERY SINGLE room of the house (including the kitchen and garage), both outlets and lighting.  And, they did the work in a timely fashion as well.

[Attention to Detail]
I was remarkably impressed with their attention to detail.  Changing ALL of the outlets in the house is REALLY EASY to miss.  They even found the ones behind the laundry and inside closets to change.  Gabriel was extremely thorough to ensure that the work done was done properly.

The service was great too!  I had not known what I was doing on recessed light positioning, and I ended up changing all the positioning.  They had to drill a LOT of new holes and make lighting installation movements/changes on my 25-ft high vaulted ceilings.  They didn't extra charge me a single cent.  Instead, they wanted to work with me to make them look nice.

[Reflection]
Needless to say, I am extremely happy with their work.  My wife ABSOLUTELY LOVED how the recessed lighting turned out with the modifications to our original plan.  I was so thrilled when I saw the delight on my wife's face.  And, Nick/Gabriel and team are the ones that made it happen!

The next time we have more work to do (my parent's house is next), I'm definitely going to contact them again!
