When I got my Tesla I was looking to install a home charging station. Little did I know the numerous headaches that would come along with this endeavor. However, Rick to the rescue! Rick helped guide me through the process of what equipment to get, what to look for, and he was there to answer every single question I had. We had to get our mini splits hard wired in, and East West Electric did an amazing job! Extremely happy with the work they did!
They also went above and beyond to make the conduit running around the house look less ugly! Mini splits have been crankin' to the max with no issues whatsoever since they left!

One of the best companies we've hired in almost 20 years in business.  We own several preschool buildings and have lots of electrical issues popping up.  Manuel responds to our needs the same day and sometimes within minutes.  He calls to update us and make sure we approve anything out of the norm.  He completes the work very quickly.  At a time when professional services are unreliable and difficult at best, Manuel and A First are reliable, reasonable, professional, and a pleasure to work with.

Jeff was very communicative and tried to solve my problem over the phone as I was familiar with the GFCIs and Electrical panels.  When that did not work, I scheduled Jeff to come out and take a look.  He and his partner arrived on time and were very cordial.  Jeff knows his stuff and started out at the circuit breaker panel as we had some outlets in the house that were not working.  In the first 5 minutes he located the issue as a bad breaker that would not reset properly.  He replaced the breaker and then upgraded a non working fluorescent tube lighting fixture to LED tubes at a reasonable cost.  Overall Jeff was a nice guy to work with and would recommend him for any electrical work.

Eric assembled 3 pieces of office furniture for me in 2 hours. WOW!  He was very neat while working and courteous.  Great to see people take pride in their work.  Great experience and will use his service again.  I recommend him.

All electrical outlets in the kitchen went out, so I called several electricians I found on Yelp. Carol is the receptionist at Independent Electric and she was very nice and a good listener and sent Mark that afternoon. He replaced a bad circuit breaker and fixed a light bulb - $180.  So far, very good.

I also had asked Carol to ask Mark about providing an estimate for two other smaller issues: faulty external electrical wiring to a lamppost and installation of an electrical outlet in the crawl space. After a week, no estimate.  I called again, and again Carol assured me I would get an estimate.  I did get one, but it was a $3500 quote to replace the electrical panel.  I have not been able to talk with Mark directly to get an explanation, they don't respond to my emails, and I still haven't gotten a price for the two work items I actually want to do, despite asking multiple times.  So now I look elsewhere.  It was too bad, I had thought I had found someone I could rely on.

Our kitchen lights went out, and I called Voltech based on Yelp reviews.  Aram answered the phone.  We set an appointment for Saturday,, 7 a.m. (No I will be there between 8 and noon stuff!)  Aram was right on time, and I was immediately impressed with his knowledge, communication skills, and professionalism.  After studying switches and wiring, from DWP to interior, he gave us an estimate. He told us to start with the essential:  we needed a new, bigger electrical panel and breaker replacement in the exterior panel. This wasn't a surprise.  Our 1960's house used to have a low voltage system with consistent problems, necessitating rewiring and patching over the years.  On top of that, a string of handymen/appliance installers had created a history of tripped circuits, making us a little nervous about our electrical infrastructure. Aram's quote was reasonable, and he recommended we take care of immediate problems first, and consider a phase two for later.      
    Aram arrived for the install date right on time, 7:45 a.m. He and an assistant worked 5 hours straight to resolve our electrical tangle.  Then Aram took the time to label all breakers and  to explain our wiring. He cleaned up thoroughly and asked whether I wanted a dry-waller to patch the cut-outs that had been necessary around the panel and lines. (He read my mind.) Aram called him for me; the man was on another job in the area and came out late afternoon the same day to do a first-rate job, inexpensively!  Day after next I get a phone call from Aram to be sure that I was happy with the work!
    I appreciated Aram's energy for his work, his integrity and thoughtfulness (he replaced the housing in a recessed light while he was here--at no extra charge--and contacted DWP to report corrosion around the powerline to our roof).  Yelp is spreading the good word about Voltech, with its mission to provide Old Fashion Service for the Modern World.   We trust that the money we spent on electrical work was a good investment in the house; next year, we'll call on him to  tackle phase two.  But Aram's reputation will travel fast, and I predict it's going to get a lot harder to schedule him.

Wayne was beyond helpful and a really nice guy! He came over to install a lighting fixture and when he realized it wasn't safe to install he went above and beyond to make it work. He gave me a quote in a quick and timely fashion and didn't make me feel bad about the worthless trip. Would definitely work with him on the reg.

I had purchased a property that had the original electrical box and I enlisted Mitch to come in to set that up as well as replace some of the outlets with CGFIs. He did a great job for a fair price and even pulled the necessary permits for the work, which can be extremely time consuming with a busy work schedule. His assistant Gladys was also great at keeping me informed and helping the project go as quickly and smoothly as possible. I will definitely be going back to them for future electrical work.
