Best Electricians in Los Angeles, CA
Our circuit breaker was sparking on a Saturday night during the stay at home orders. These guys came quickly, were so nice and really know their stuff! They really went the extra mile for us and were great problem solvers. Keeping them on speed dial for the future! Highly recommend.

called Rick for some simple service (add a couple of outlets.) Got an appointment for only 2 days later. Rick showed up exactly on time, did the work perfectly and at the estimated cost, cleaned up after the job, and was very friendly and professional.

Nshan installed a Ring Doorbell Pro at our residence. He was prompt to respond to set up an appointment date. He maintains a high level of professionalism and politeness. Upon his arrival, it was evident Nshan is also a skilled, efficient electrician as he completed the installation task in approximately one hour. He used a level to ensure the unit was installed perfectly to my satisfaction and was very patient showing me how to pair the the doorbell features with my smartphone. He uses common language that is not at all overwhelming to the customer and is always respectful. I felt the installation cost was fair and recommended East West Electric for your electrical needs. Thanks, Nshan!

Thanks to David at Primo Electric first for getting right back to me, and second for sending Gabe over so quickly to install a porch light fixture.
I was originally going to try and install the fixture myself but there was a potential issue with the inside wall switch not turning the power to the porch light on or off. I decided to leave it to the experts and I'm glad I did.
Gabe showed up on time within the one-hour window promised. He got right to work diagnosing the switch issue (which included having him go up into the attic crawlspace.) Whatever work was done years ago affecting the existing wall switch and the porch light was causing things to be less than simple or straightforward. Gabe had a couple of solutions (I always appreciate multiple options) and we went with the more direct and simpler fix. He had to go to the local Home Depot to get a photo cell for the new light fixture, returned quickly, and shortly thereafter the job was done. And done right.
Now, the pizza delivery person can see our porch and house number rather than wander around across the street looking for us.
So glad I decided to get professional, expert service rather than attempt to install myself. I contacted Primo Electric based on other Yelp reviews, and because it was a local company. Excellent customer service, responsiveness, fair pricing, and a knowledgable, expert technician (thanks, Gabe!)
I highly recommend and will definitely call Primo Electric again for my future electrical needs.

We were having Electrical problems and decided to give Electric Brothers a call. Issac came out the next day and diagnosed our problem. Within that same day we hired him and within a few days our electrical problems were over. Issac quickly diagnosed the problem, pulled permits with the city, performed the work and was there to see pass inspection with the city inspector. I strongly recommend Electric Brothers!

Curt is an electrician I would recommend with utmost confidence. He has helped with 2 separate jobs and both jobs were completed with no complaint!!! Curt was honest, friendly and explained (in terms even I could understand) what the problem was and how he was going to resolve it. Again, highly recommended!!!

Manuel is very reliable! He's done an excellent work for us. He ALWAYS responds to your call or text and he's very honest. He doesn't rush in doing his job, he'll make sure that everything is correct and in order. Has a very pleasing personality. I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND HIM! Thank you!

You expect only a few things from any contractor. Good work at an honest price. Well, I got that and more from Jeff and company. Here is my list:
1. Good work
2. Fair price
3. Concientous
4. Organized
I sorely needed a new service and clean up of many years of add on electrical updates. Jeff proposed a new semi-flush 200 amp service with some rewiring. Check out the photos and you'll see why he gets a call back to add a few outlets to my new service.
I've found a few flaky contractors on Yelp but this is NOT one of them. You can be assured you're getting what you expect from Jeff.

I would give more stars if I could. Erik is nice and easy to work with. Honest and reliable. He came back several times because stuff had to dry.
His prices are amazing, especially for the work and time he took. You can tell he cares about what he does.
Wish I found him sooner! My railing he painted looks amazing and exactly the color I wanted, even though I was pretty flexible. He also cemented some cracks on porch and back of the house where water was getting in. Had the idea to do a waterproof sealant to solve the issue.
TOTALLY RECOMMEND :)

VERY TRULY a 5-star business, from service, responsiveness, quality of work, and just regarding good old fashioned customer service.
I cannot recommend Mark and Independent Electric any more!

Fantastic and friendly service! I called at 8:40 on a Saturday morning and within three hours the problem was solved.

We had electrical issues throughout the house especially the laundry room and Mark and Chris are very responsive, professionals and great customer service. They figured out the issue after a few other electricians visited. We are very thankful and will definitely use them in the future!

I have had him over three times recently while upgrading an apartment. He has been competent and very helpful...

Wayne Beauregard of Burbank Electric did the electrical for a complete kitchen remodel for me. He proved to be a honest and reliable electrian who does good work at reasonable prices. He made a number of goood suggested changes to my plan that reduced my cost and accomplished the same thing. He keeps his appointments and his comments, His work is neat, keeps his work site clean and pays attention to detail and the appearance of the finall product. He took his time to explain what he was doing and suggested options that improved the final project. Even though he did more work than included in the original contract, he charged me the contract amount and didn't expect final payment before the work was complete. The city inspector said the electrical work good good and when I told him that Wayne did the work, he signed the electrical off without additional inspection, And finally, he is a fun person to talk to and have around.

Totally recommend was quick to respond and quick to fix my garbage disposal. Totally professional and his prices are reasonable! Will definitely use again!

THE INCIDENT
So, I had an unusual problem. A circuit breaker died in my breaker box. I had had problems before on the kitchen's circuit with running a toaster and George Foreman at the same time. This was a different circuit.
When I was away from home, my fiance was heating up leftovers in the microwave, watching TV and running the washer. All were on the same circuit. Bam! All of a sudden everything went out. Darkness in half the house.
Over the phone, I had her check a few things. The circuit breaker wouldn't reset or turn back on. It was four switches with the center two tied together in a 2-20 configuration. I checked around on the Internet but since I didn't have any experience with breaker boxes, I decided to call an electrician and have it done right.
THE SEARCH
I checked online for an electrician. Angie's List angieslist.com required a paid subscription. YellowBook yellowbook.com was just pages of names and phone numbers without useful info. Bing bing.com was better. It linked me to Yelp reviews which I appreciated.
First, I contacted Powell Electric and was greeted by a call intake person who knew nothing about electrical work. They said flatly, $99 to come out applied to the job if you use us. Yelp told me that they could be 2-3x what other companies charged. No dice.
Next, I called West LA Electric. $95 to come out. I don't like that model. What if I don't feel comfortable with them. Still, an almost $100 hit!
Finally, I called Intelectric. Lorraine answered the phone. I told her that I was a small potatoes home owner who most likely needed a circuit breaker replaced. She was bright and cheery. Offered help right away. Then, she offered to let me speak to the Service Manager before scheduling my call to take in more info! Really? Awesome! That's the way it should be.
Rob the Service Manager was very helpful. He guided me on how to find the manufacturer, amp rating and location of the bad circuit breaker. This is FRIDAY AFTERNOON and he still managed to schedule a tech to come out by 5PM!
SERVICE CALL
Robert the Electrician came out. He was dressed professionally, wore boot booties and carried all of the necessary tools to get the job done. He had to bring a substitute circuit breaker (different manufacturer) because the matching one was on order from their same-day supplier. Intelectric wanted to get me up and running ASAP!
Within about 20 minutes, Robert disconnected the wires, tested the circuit, replaced the bad circuit breaker and hooked everything up again. He tested the circuit several times with a voltmeter. A-OK. He also checked my other circuit breakers to make sure the gauge of the wire matched the amps of the circuit breaker (very important!) All-in-all, it took about 1/2HR and I was up and running again!
Robert told me to contact Intelectric on Monday to find out when the matching circuit breaker would be arrive. He had me get on the phone with Rob to verify that there wouldn't be an additional charge to quickly swap out the circuit breaker. All good.
FOLLOW-UP
On Monday mid-day I got a call from Chris who said they were still waiting on the part but would let me know when they received it.
On Tuesday morning, I received a call from Lorraine that the matching circuit breaker had arrived and they would try to schedule Robert to return based on the timing at his first job. I received several more informative calls. They offered a service window of 12-2PM.
Robert arrived on-time and swapped the circuit breaker. He was done in about five minutes. I wrote a check for the circuit breaker, wished him well and ended the service call.
CONCLUSION
I'm writing this review right after Robert left. He's a big Lakers fan judging by his ever-present cap. Intelectric's service was, in my opinion, a slam dunk! My fiance and I are all set now with the matching circuit breaker, consistent electricity and functional knowledge of our breaker box.
Thank you Intelectric!
TOTAL COST: $95/HR for 1HR and $32 for the part = $127
