Rick is the guy to call for tricky electrical problems.  I had three guys out to fix my outdoor lighting that I inherited from the previous home owner who thought he was Thomas Edison. None solved my problem despite charging hundreds of dollars. Rick figured it out and got it all working.  He's the best.

East West electric performed above and beyond expectations. They were prompt, efficient and very professional. Vartan & Nishan communicated effectively and there were no surprises. They are skilled and friendly and charged a fair price for their great service. They installed recessed lights with firebox protection and installed all my fixtures after construction removed them. Their follow up was great. I would highly recommend using East West Electric to anyone who reads this review.

I recently had Electric Brothers do a panel upgrade from 100A to 200A, running two additional dedicated circuits to my kitchen, and a one to my garage.

The attic space was very tight and tricky to navigate and they did great work.  They handled the permit application, only had make a minor adjustment to pass inspection.  They were friendly, honest and punctual.  I would absolutely call them again for any future electrical work.

Curt is an electrician I would recommend with utmost confidence.  He has helped with 2 separate jobs and both jobs were completed with no complaint!!!  Curt was honest, friendly and explained (in terms even I could understand) what the problem was and how he was going to resolve it.  Again, highly recommended!!!

Manuel and Coco did a fantastic job installing two EV charging circuits/devices at my house.  Manuel was very timely and responsive to visit my house and provide an estimate.  Manuel's pricing was competitive, and his work plan was better and more clearly communicated than others who reviewed the work.  When the work was to be done, Coco worked efficiently and completed both installations properly and very professionally.  Unlike many contractors I have interviewed for work over many years, Manuel did not try to do or suggest the work should be done without a city permit.  Manuel was actually very supportive of the city permit and inspection process.  The city inspector who reviewed the work and was highly complementary of Manuel and the work that Manuel and Coco did.

Manuel and A First Electric are highly recommended.

Jeff recently did work at apt complex that we manage.   He was very thorough with the planning and making sure types of lights and locations of lights to install at complex.  Also went over pricing with us to make sure what we wanted....no overcharging or additional charges like some other places tend to do.   Very honest guy who performs great work.

So happy I found Erik here on Yelp. He responded to my text quickly with a quote, showed up on time, repaired my drywall and door. I felt helpless ... my wife calls and tells me we've lost all power to the house at the hottest part of the day with my 90+ year old parents staying with us. By this time it was after 6 pm and I was at least 90 minutes out from getting home.  SCE said there was power to the meter and refused to come out. My wife had flicked all the breakers to no avail. The house was hot and they were afraid we would be stuck in a dark house all night.
I called a number of electricians in the area, but they were either closing, had a poor attitude or didn't return my call. Then I happened to give Independent a call.
Mark was just finishing another job and, despite it being the end of their normal business day, he rushed over to my house. He quickly put the family totally at ease, fixed the issue, and since it was relatively minor, refused to take payment as my father is a WWII and Korean War veteran.
An incredible family business. We've used a number of repairmen and contractors over the years, and they simply don't make'm like Mike anymore.  I recommend you give Independent Electric a try.

It seemed like I blew a fuse in my apartment, but when I checked the fuse box they were all okay so I thought I must have burned out a circuit somewhere inside the walls.  That would be an expensive fix.  I called Voltech after reading the Yelp reviews.  Aram came out the next morning to take a look.

He showed up and took a look at the fuse box and then the breaker box on the other side of the building.  It turned out that I just tripped a main circuit breaker in the breaker box.  Visually it appeared that the breaker had not been tripped so I had never actually tried to turn it off and then back on.  I felt like a moron.

Aram told me I didn't owe him anything for the call.  I have been a Yelp member for a six years and he just earned himself my first five-star Yelp review.

We highly recommend C-Jays Electrical Service.  Chris was very knowledgeable, professional and prompt. He came out the same day we called him. Half of our house was without electricity. Chris called asked a few questions then responded.  Chris traced the wires and found the problems then made the needed repairs and installed the needed circuit breaker. He was prompt and kept us informed as to his response time. He was friendly and showed that he cares about his customers. His prices were fair. We will use him in the future for any electrical needs.  (Janovich)

Gil was great today. I had an electrical issue that I was very worried about and I was so thankful that he was able to take care of it.
He was even working on a Sunday, and close to New Years (it has been hard to find businesses in service this week)
My husband and I liked that he explained the problem to us and thoroughly as possible. He seemed very knowledgeable and kind and we liked him very much. We will definitely use him again.

I had to replace my entire electric board panel at the house and met with a few companies.  Wayne was by far the nicest, honest and really well priced electrician I met with.  We discussed what I needed to get done and set up a time after I agreed to his estimate (which was very reasonable). The other companies I felt I was being taken advantage and treated like I wasn't a human being when they spoke to me.  Wayne was knowledgeable, personable and did an outstanding job.  I plan on using him after the holidays to add some new lighting in my house and already have recommended him to a few neighbors.  If you are looking for someone who will do the job up to code, on time and is honest,  then I highly recommend you call Wayne at Burbank Electric.

Gave Zilvinas a list of various things in the house that needed repairs. They werr able to repair things in the kitchen, bathroom, paint among other things. These guys were reliable and prompt.

This is a fantastic company!!!  I called with a last minute job and they fit me in with in 48 hours.  The owner came to my house and was incredibly quick, thorough and I felt the rate was very competitive.  I have had 2 jobs completed by Intelectric and both were completed with outstanding service.  Great company!!!
