Best Electricians in Los Angeles, CA

Val is hands down the best electrician I have ever hired. He has done a wide range of electrical jobs for multiple projects, and is very efficient, quick, helpful and always finds a way to get the job done. There have been a couple instances where light fixtures have been missing a few pieces, and each time Val has gone over and above to not only advise on what was needed, but found the parts for us so that the light could be properly installed. Val is our go-to electrician and I recommend him to anyone needing electrical work.

We called Rick for a quote on a job requiring some jacuzzi wiring on an old home in the local area... when I called he personally answered the phone and was VERY nice. He said he could be over right away.  We scheduled an appointment and he was right over right on time.  He gave us an honest assessment of the problem, and multiple solutions to fix it.  Some involved leaving everything alone and the other involved replacing the entire panel and getting the power company involved.  What I want to say in a world of rip offs, unreliability, and poor customer service, is that this man and his company seem to have integrity and awesome customer service.  We will definitely always use him as our electrician and want to tell the local area that there is a company out there that gives honest answers despite the bottom line. Very happy with Mr. Jackson!

Wow! East West Electric is amazing. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I needed a light fixture moved and contacted East West Electric for an estimate. They responded immediately and we set up an appointment. They texted to confirm the day before the appointment then showed up right on time on the day of our appointment. They explained my options to me after inspecting the light situation and said they wouldn't charge me if I didn't like any of the options I heard. They got the job done quickly and they were so pleasant and professional. I can't recommend these guys enough and I will be using them for future electrical needs. Also, pricing is very reasonable.

What can I say.  All the reviews are right on.  This is the best example of a family owned business that pride themselves in being honest and hardworking.  The work they did was clean efficient and what else to say but PRIMO.  I literally got to see two generations of electricians (father and son) working in perfect unison.  They left the work area cleaner than before they started.  
When I had question days after the job, David who coordinated the first job answered within one ring and was very pleasant and patient.  I never felt rushed or over sold on services.  He made it feel like he's a friend who starts by giving some good advice.  They now have my business for life and I would recommend them to anyone.

To anyone who needs a real good electrician, I highly recommend Electric Brothers.  Issac (the owner) and Mike are beyond words.  We had a weird electrical problem where certain parts of the house had not power, yet in the same rooms, other parts would have power.  I contacted several electricians and they all said I would need to go into the drywalls of all the rooms affected and check out each plug/socket/switch.  We have an 1800 sq ft home and that didn't seem feasible as well as costly.  Electric Brothers said the same thing, BUT, Issac and Mike came out and checked what they could and returned with a game plan.  Thankfully, they found the issue, fixed it and replaced all old/broken sockets.  I couldn't have asked for a better set of electricians.  Issac is honorable, honest, professional, and courteous (Mike, too).  They start early in the morning so that if they get done, you still have time to do other things.  Great bunch.  You'd be a fool if you don't use them.  I'm glad I did.

Call Curt at CW Electric. He is thoughtful, responsive, and informative. He has replaced a chandelier and advised us about some recent electrical problems, and only charged us for work performed. We couldn't be happier with CW Electric and will certainly call him for our future electrician needs.

I found Gil and Amor Electric here on Yelp, had never used before. Amor went above and beyond on the job of not only replacing the ugliest light fixture in LA but flawlessly replacing 80, yes 80!!! year old lighting in a building that once served as the Venice City Hall. The owner Gil and the amazing Fernando worked for an entire day and solved a problem that other LA electricians could not. Arrived on time, called half way through the day to check everything was going ok and exceeded all expectations.
In all they removed all the old fixtures and track lights and installed a stunning vintage brass chandelier after installing a entirely new J box, wired power from the new chandelier (Into the area above the ceiling! No holes at all) to a beam in the ceiling and installed all new LED Lithonia track lights. I am beyond impressed how they did this without leaving any holes or patch work, total geniuses to use the track to cover the tiny hole for all the new wiring to the new lights. On top of that they replaced 6 additional track lights with all LEDS in another part of the building. Took care of all trash and came beyond prepared with all the parts we didn't even know we would need after removing the old fixture. The great customer service, how quickly the work was done and the incredibly low price for such a hug job is why I felt the need to post this review. I will post a few pictures so you can see. Great electrician for any of your projects!

Which would you rather have - an electrician who not only knows his craft, is honest, on time and reasonable?  Or someone who tries to upsell you on unnecessary work and to buy new fixtures?  If you choose the first one, then this is the company to use.  Wayne is fully knowledgeable about all aspects of his work, is licensed, bonded and professional.  He takes pride in doing the job correctly,  As a homeowner on a budget, Burbank Electric is now on my list of  businesses highly recommended. I will use them in the future and tell all my friends in the Burbank area about the good experience of doing business with Wayne.

Put up my 75 inch tv flawlessly and perfectly. No hiccups or problems. Will use his service again!

THE INCIDENT
So, I had an unusual problem. A circuit breaker died in my breaker box. I had had problems before on the kitchen's circuit with running a toaster and George Foreman at the same time. This was a different circuit.

When I was away from home, my fiance was heating up leftovers in the microwave, watching TV and running the washer. All were on the same circuit. Bam! All of a sudden everything went out. Darkness in half the house.

Over the phone, I had her check a few things. The circuit breaker wouldn't reset or turn back on. It was four switches with the center two tied together in a 2-20 configuration. I checked around on the Internet but since I didn't have any experience with breaker boxes, I decided to call an electrician and have it done right.

THE SEARCH
I checked online for an electrician. Angie's List angieslist.com required a paid subscription. YellowBook yellowbook.com was just pages of names and phone numbers without useful info. Bing bing.com was better. It linked me to Yelp reviews which I appreciated.

First, I contacted Powell Electric and was greeted by a call intake person who knew nothing about electrical work. They said flatly, $99 to come out applied to the job if you use us. Yelp told me that they could be 2-3x what other companies charged. No dice.

Next, I called West LA Electric. $95 to come out. I don't like that model. What if I don't feel comfortable with them. Still, an almost $100 hit!

Finally, I called Intelectric. Lorraine answered the phone. I told her that I was a small potatoes home owner who most likely needed a circuit breaker replaced. She was bright and cheery. Offered help right away. Then, she offered to let me speak to the Service Manager before scheduling my call to take in more info! Really? Awesome! That's the way it should be.

Rob the Service Manager was very helpful. He guided me on how to find the manufacturer, amp rating and location of the bad circuit breaker. This is FRIDAY AFTERNOON and he still managed to schedule a tech to come out by 5PM!

SERVICE CALL
Robert the Electrician came out. He was dressed professionally, wore boot booties and carried all of the necessary tools to get the job done. He had to bring a substitute circuit breaker (different manufacturer) because the matching one was on order from their same-day supplier. Intelectric wanted to get me up and running ASAP!

Within about 20 minutes, Robert disconnected the wires, tested the circuit, replaced the bad circuit breaker and hooked everything up again. He tested the circuit several times with a voltmeter. A-OK. He also checked my other circuit breakers to make sure the gauge of the wire matched the amps of the circuit breaker (very important!) All-in-all, it took about 1/2HR and I was up and running again!

Robert told me to contact Intelectric on Monday to find out when the matching circuit breaker would be arrive. He had me get on the phone with Rob to verify that there wouldn't be an additional charge to quickly swap out the circuit breaker. All good.

FOLLOW-UP
On Monday mid-day I got a call from Chris who said they were still waiting on the part but would let me know when they received it.

On Tuesday morning, I received a call from Lorraine that the matching circuit breaker had arrived and they would try to schedule Robert to return based on the timing at his first job. I received several more informative calls. They offered a service window of 12-2PM.

Robert arrived on-time and swapped the circuit breaker. He was done in about five minutes. I wrote a check for the circuit breaker, wished him well and ended the service call.

CONCLUSION
I'm writing this review right after Robert left. He's a big Lakers fan judging by his ever-present cap. Intelectric's service was, in my opinion, a slam dunk! My fiance and I are all set now with the matching circuit breaker, consistent electricity and functional knowledge of our breaker box.
