Val came out to evaluate my garage for an EV charger installation project. Although I didn't get to get it done because my condo's electricity system is not strong enough, Val explained the problem and the entire process so kindly and patiently. I would definitely reach out to this company if I need their help in the future.

This past weekend, my wife and I purchased a brand new electric vehicle and so, we needed to get an EV charging station installed in our home immediately.  The following day I perused yelp for potential electricians.  I called the top rated services and got voicemails with the first few and didn't bother to leave a message (I hate leaving voicemails).  The first actual person I was able to speak to (not from East West Electric) was friendly and offered to come to my place the following day and give me a quote.  I agreed.  Immediately after I finished speaking with the person from the first company, Vartan (from East West Electric) called me.  He apologized that he missed my call, explained that he was from East West Electric, and asked if he could be of service.  I told him I already had spoken with someone else regarding setting up an EV station and he basically let me know that he'd be there if I changed my mind.  Vartan was extremely courteous, respectful, and not at all pushy for my business.  The following day, the other electrician came by, checked out my place and later in the evening emailed me a quote.  I called him the following morning regarding setting up a time that he could do the install, but he noted he was very busy this week and wouldn't even know until the weekend if he'd be able to set up my EV station the following week.  In need of an EV station immediately I contacted Vartan.  I sent Vartan some pictures of my place and he gave me a reasonable quote and so I set up an install date.   Less than an hour ago Vartan completed my EV station install.  When I gave Vartan a check for the initial amount he quoted me, he stated No, that's too much.  He stated that he thought he would have to do further wiring to my place, but as my place was already wired, the initial quoted amount was TOO MUCH and so he actually DECREASED the price!  (Of note, Vartan's price was actually less than the first provider)  Vartan at East West Electric is courteous, respectful, professional, and wholeheartedly honest.  All in all, I'm glad the first provider fell through and that Vartan at East West Electric ended up with my business!  I'd gladly refer friends and family to him, and I know now who to call first whenever I'm in need of electrical services!

Don't be fooled by this guy's 5-star reviews. I'm surprised he even has anything above 1 star, especially after considering my encounters with him.

I originally came across this company through Home Depot's Pro referral site. Out of the 3 referrals I got on there, this guy was the worst one.

Let me explain: not only was his quote substantially higher than the other pros that had given me an estimate, but he tried to justify it by saying that he was licensed and that he had good reviews on yelp.

However, considering that I got his information from Home Depot's Pro Referral service, they only refer licensed electricians with good reviews anyways.

But that wasn't issue, I don't mind if someone's price is higher than the next guys. It was his attitude and lack of consideration for customers that really did it for me and made me want to take the time to write a review so other people like myself who were initially impressed by his 5-star reviews on yelp, would notate how he really is with customers.

I sent him several messages when trying to request a quote and finally got a date and time for him to come out and give me an estimate. He said he would come either Thursday or Friday, which is not very professional considering he was occupying 2 of my days at his convenience to see when he could come.

Of course Thursday rolled around and no word or show from him. So I figured he was going to come on Friday, instead. On Friday I texted him and asked him if he was coming and he said yes, he would be coming later in the day.

After waiting the majority of the day for him to arrive, he texted me very late in the afternoon saying that there was a lot of traffic and that he was on the way, but he was 45 minutes away. I said OK go ahead and come I'm still waiting for you.

Finally another hour later, he said the traffic was too high so he can't make it. I said excuse me? I've been waiting all day for you! But he didn't care about my time. It was more convenient for him not to come.

I told him I was so disappointed that I would leave my experience with him on a review here on yelp. He had the audacity to tell me don't bash a small business. I don't give a damn if your business is small or not. That doesn't give you a pass to disregard your customer's time like that. In lieu of leaving a bad review, he offered me a 4% discount. Haha. As you can see I'm here leaving this review.

I even called him twice after that experience to follow up with him about coming for that estimate finally, and he acted like he couldn't hear me and hung up on me! I called twice again and he didn't answer again!

This guy is a jerk. And he thinks his time is more valuable than yours! Stay away from arrogant people like this! Thanks primo!

Curt replaced a bad breaker in my service box. He did it quickly and his price was very reasonable. Very nice guy, will definitely use his services again.

Manuel and his team did a great job upgrading our electric panel and putting in new outlets in our house. They responded quickly and their rates were fair. Will definitely use them in the future for any electric needs.

Thanks to Jeff and his team, my 1929 house is fitted with new + modern  pendant lights and ceiling fans.

I love DIY's but I will not touch electrical anything. I will leave it to the professionals (especially with code compliant projects).

Jeff is very punctual and was able to provide reasonable and fair quotes. He will explain ALL costs, including necessary parts and labor. You have the right to say no or hire. Simple as that. No shady business here.

In fact, during his walk though, he turned on our dormant heater (and was immediately hired thereafter)! Bless his heart!

We scheduled an appointment and the job was completed within a few hours by Jeff and Carlos.

Fantastic results and no worries at all.

That is why I hire professionals.

I will definitely invite them over next time for another project (kitchen and bathroom lighting) and will get the BBQ grill going for their lunch.

We hired Eyos handyman to hang 3 TVs on the wall in our house. He did a great job. He was easy to work with, was responsive via messages, and quoted us a reasonable rate. I spoke to him on a Thursday and he was able to do the work on Saturday. He came and got to work immediately. He had the right tools and did a great job. TVs were all level and sturdily hung. Since he was here, I had him hang a 4th tv and he happily did so, along with quoting other jobs in my house. Highly recommend!

After reading about common causes of electrical fires I decided that I wanted to have my old power outlets replaced by new ones with grounding. My cousin referred me to Independent Electric Co and all I can say I am a satisfied customer. The owner did not try to upsell me in any way and gave me honest advice. They provide great service at a reasonable price and well worth the piece of mind not having to worry about electrical fires because of faulty electrical outlets. I recommend this company.

Very professional and clean company. The owner Ben came out to do the work, I had him install garage lights and hook up an attic fan. He made sure all wiring was safe and did not try to do any high pressure sales tactics; just honest service. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

I was in need of having two ceiling fans installed.  I came across C-Jays and was impressed with their reviews.  I reached out for a quote and Chris quickly responded.  Shortly thereafter, we scheduled an appointment. On the day of our appointment, he arrived early.  He didn't rush the job, nor did he take too long.  Absolutely no mess left behind. We had a great experience with Amor Electric (LOVE THE NAME!) when our power kept kicking off. He got back to me right away about the problem and came to our studio a few hours later.

He educated us on the problem and guided us on how to correct the problem without spending thousands on re-wiring.

I could tell right away that he was very knowledgeable and was interested in helping us, not trying to make a quick buck. When we have any other electrical upgrades or challenges, we'll call them first.

We were very pleased with our first experience with Wayne at Burbank Electric.  Had a small outlet issue. Wayne was extremely friendly, efficient, professional and came and fixed our problem within a couple hours. Highly recommend.

If I could give 0 stars I would (believe me, I tried for 5 min to unclick that 1 star). Not only did they want waaaaaay too much for work on my new condo at the time in Culver City, they asked for a $250 deposit to inspect the premises, even though I already had an inspection done by the city. But I naively thought, whatever, and like an idiot I paid it, by check no less! If I had done credit, I could have have contested it. They do take credit, so use that in case you read this and still use them.

When they came out, they quoted me for a bunch of stuff that I didn't need (including $125 for troubleshooting balcony light switch; the balcony lights are controlled by the building, not by me), citing that the city of Los Angeles requires these things. The condo was in CULVER CITY and had no such requirements. So unless these guys had magic re-zoning abilities, I was having none of it. When I told them I wanted/needed only certain items on their total quote, they were insistent that I take the full quote of over $3500, holding my deposit hostage if I did not use them. Apparently, their quote constitutes a contract, (one I never signed, by the way), and according to them my deposit is tied up into this contract. They did respond to my attempts to compromise, but they continued to be unreasonable about the services they wanted to charge me for, bottoming out at over $1000 of unnecessary services.

In the end, I forfeited my deposit out of principle, and ended up using another electrician who charged me half the price for the same services I had requested without the pushy salesman tactics. I'll admit, I was a fool and they took advantage, so in essence, they earned their money. Call it tuition for a life lesson.
