I am a business owner in San Diego and met Todd, the owner of Dr. Electric while doing his hair. I was getting ready to open up a second location in la Jolla and was anxious about getting the right person to do all of the lighting in the salon. I immediately thought of Todd! He is one of the most genuine business owners I have ever met. He helped me pick the right look keeping in mind my budget. Not only was he extremely consistent with being on time and quality work but he helped make the experience of opening another business enjoyable for all of the team at Tailored. Dr. Electric will most definitely always be our preferred Electrician.

Very responsive via text message or phone call. Flexible and willing to discuss the project to be sure everyone's happy. Able to predict worst case scenarios so we weren't taken by surprise. Worked hard, got the job done right, and very personable - makes it easy to ask questions without feeling like an idiot.

CET is great to work with. They responded my request quickly and their price is reasonable. Their electrician did trouble shooting the problem and performed honest work. We are very happy with their work and will use them again for sure.

I recently got a Tesla and needed a 14-50 outlet installed, so I got quotes from multiple companies including Ms Sparky, who came in cheapest (and a friend had recommended to me). I emailed with Mary (the owner) directly and coordinated with her. This was a little frustrating because initially she said I needed a 60 amp breaker when it should be 50 as far as I know for a 14-50 outlet-- I pointed this out and she changed it to 50 amp. Her original quote was about $500 off of what the actual cost ended up being too, probably because of quoting just off my pictures. So no biggie on that.

But when the tech came to do the install he was expecting my panel to be right next to where I wanted the outlet and that was not the case. Also the breaker they ordered wasn't the right one. In order to make room they'd need a combination breaker instead. Again, this was frustrating a little because I had sent pictures of my panel to Mary already so I thought they would've seen what needed to be ordered. Tech also said it's a two person job not one, and he'll need another person. He was reluctant at first to run the wiring through attic like I wanted but I finally convinced him the attic is spacious and open enough. He called Mary and got a better quote number and said they'd let me know when they can come back to install.

About five days later got an email back saying they were ready to install again. Got it scheduled and a two person crew came out and took care of it. Ran the wiring and outlet exactly where I wanted it, and everything looked great to me. And my Tesla charges beautifully now. So in the end, I'm happy with the result but getting there felt a little more difficult than it should've been.

Came out same day and got the job done, fair prices and nice guy! Would definitely recommend.

They came out the day of, helped me find the right materials for a job and then did the job and billed me an extremely reasonable rate after the job was completed. This company is my go-to now for electrical work.

They did some simple work and didn't pay attention to detail. They moved one small light fixture and left my attic disheveled. They moved a wood support board without putting it back in place, pushed blown-in insulation out of the way of their work and left bare floor exposed (in the middle of summer) and left our attic light on. They didn't pay attention to where they placed the electrical box, meaning my husband has to relocate the box to replace the wood board. Disappointing. Especially for the $300 it cost for maybe an hour of work? I keep having to learn the same lesson with anyone coming into my home to do work. Check EVERYTHING before they leave.

We had an issue with an outdoor outlet that needed the ground wire properly connected.  Live Wire came out right on time, and got the issue fixed so we will have safe use of the outlet for what we need.  He also fixed another minor issue we asked for.  We will definitely use this company again in the future.

Needed an electrician and looked to Yelp for some help. Found Ken Wallace with wonderful reviews and reached out through yelp with my electrical needs. Reviews stated he responded quickly and in most cases, saw clients same day. I figured I'd hear from Ken in a very short amount of time.
Ken must either be really busy or not be too concerned with earning new customers. After I mistakenly typed a digit wrong in my phone number, 24 hours later Ken contacted me through email and said I'd hear from him on Monday.
No call Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and finally a call on Thursday. Wanted to come and take a look! Umm...I work and not available for someone to just drop on by. By this time, I had already reached out to another electrician. I told Ken that I could only do this in the early evening and that didn't work for his electrician. Bummer...still in need of an electrician before next Saturday 12/23. Anyone know of one who can actually come and work?

If you're looking for an honest and friendly electrician contact Mike. I told him over the phone that I already have an existing light fixture that I want to replace with a 70 ceiling fan. He gave me a very reasonable quote and arrived early the day of. When he arrived at my house I changed my mind and wanted the fan relocated somewhere else. He had to run wires in the attic and create a new outlet. And guess what... he did not charge me a dollar more! Unheard of right?! I have to make sure we do all of our electrical  stuff in the house before Mike retires because I refuse to use anyone else. Mike, Thank you for your hard work and honesty.

Had a day and time for the install and Javier, the electrician was a no show. He called an hour after the set appointment time to reschedule I just simply said I'm going to hire another electrician.

9/15/17 Zeena, the company owner left a voicemail to apologize about the no show. She offered to make it up. Tells a lot about a company who still gives high regards to its clients. I plan to call back and reschedule when my schedule allows.

Joseph did a fantastic job installing two ceiling fans.  He was quick and super affordable!
