Best Electricians in California

We had Dr. Electric do work for us years back and they had done such a great job I decided to call them back when we needed a few things fixed at our new house. While they were out here fixing a few issues with outlets and switches I found out they also mount TV's.
They did an awesome job mounting the TV, great mount, ran the cables through the walls even hung some shelves for us for the components. The TV looks great and I am so glad we used them!
I must also point out there extreme attention to detail. Todd said he like to treat each job like it was his house, and it is obvious. They are very clean, very thorough, and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend them for any of your electrical or AV needs.

I've had Jeff and his team handle multiple electrical jobs at my house in San Diego and they've been stellar.  I found him on Yelp and I will say the 5-star rating he has is well-deserved.  Consummate professional, very reasonable prices (don't just go by the hourly rate in and of itself--his cost per productive hour of work is outstanding), and excellent work that he stands by.  This is unusual in San Diego based on my experience with other contractors--indeed, Jeff's in high demand and it sometimes can take a few weeks to get on the schedule, but the reliability and work is certainly worth the wait.

Great service for a fair price.  Excellent customer service.  The person I spoke to on the phone was so polite and  helpful.  They were able to accommodate me quickly (on a Saturday) and gave me a fair estimate.  The electrician that showed up was on time, knowledgeable, polite and did very tidy work.  I would highly recommend CET Electric.

Stuart has now done several electrical jobs for us here in Coronado on our house that is over 100 years old. Stuart repaired and corrected many issues that were previously done incorrectly (or not at all) and he changed out all the cheap and ugly light switches to period-appropriate push button switches. He's a great problem-solver and super conscientious about being efficient on the job and cleaning up after he's finished. He's exceptionally good at keeping us informed about the work and the options we have as he's going along. Stuart is a true expert and we feel lucky to be able to call on him for help here when we need it.

Ms Sparky is the best. Competent, efficient, thorough and creative. We hired Ms Sparky to fix a very troubled electrical system in an old house - this included (among other things) upgrading the main service and panel, redistributing loads from overburdened circuits, and troubleshooting all the outlets in the house and the scary garage.  Everything is beautiful now. We had other construction crews working at the same time and Ms Sparky organized the electrical work around the other crews seamlessly. Our contractor called on Ms Sparky to work on another project of theirs and we will definitely call Ms Sparky again on future projects of ours too.

3.5 stars. He may know what he's doing and I'm glad to see another hard worker out there. But he does have somewhat of an attitude that's unprofessional. He admitted he comes off that way, too. Other electricians patch holes but he doesn't. He was only cheaper by $80 or so, so it wasn't really worth it for me.

Want to say thanks to DM Electric & Damon.  I have a condo that has really bad lighting.  DM Electric has come out 3 times and solved all the problems.  This company is very easy to deal with, and they do great work.  I highly recommend, and would hire again.   Thanks guys !

Joel was awesome. He was quick to come out and troubleshoot our lighting. He was super honest and communicated very well throughout his visit.

My husband was all gaga over DC Electric's work and couldn't stop praising Daniel's professional and thoughtful work. And I trust his excitement as he studied electrical engineering. Here are some details:

DC Electric's tasks:
1. Install a Poul Henningsen Artichoke Lamp replica (bulky, heavy and fragile, most likely qualifies as an installer's nightmare - m.louispoulsen.com/us#pr…).
2. Install two vintage dining room hanging lamps where there used to be only one.

What we liked about DC Electric's work:
Daniel was professional, polite and punctual and he always returned calls. As we were renting the place, we wanted to leave as little damage as possible and Daniel came up with his own ideas to meet our needs. Excellent execution and I still cannot believe he heaved the artichoke on the vaulted ceiling almost entirely by himself! But his professional and thoughtful work really came to light when we moved out of the house and my husband removed the lamps himself. Not only was Daniel's cable work neat, he had thought of everything to make the reverse work easy - like placing the necessary parts next to the lamp below the roof etc. From our experience, it is hard to come by thoughtful craftsmen who take pride in what they do and go that extra mile to make things perfect.

So - a big thumbs up for DC Electric. I would only give five stars to an outstanding business experience and DC Electric earned it, albeit we had the pleasure only once. We would not hesitate to recommend DC Electric to our friends.

PS: DC Electric was arranged and paid by our moving company so I am assuming credit cards are accepted (at least in the office?), though I don't know for sure.

I am revising an earlier review of Thomas Electrical. These guys are definitely 5-star worthy. After a snafu in communication a day earlier (die to a family emergency), they were quick to fit me in the next day. Nick was very professional and apologetic over the prior days experience. I am highly recommending Thomas Electrical. Nick and Jeremy were outstanding!!!!

Ken and his team recently completed a LED retrofit of 45 fluorescent light fixtures in our Condo community garage.  For a Licensed and Bonded Electrical Contractor his rates were the most reasonable after reviewing multiple quotes for the same job.  Once we set a date they arrived right on time and knocked out the project quickly.

He also was good at returning our calls and emails leading up to the project and spending the time to get us the best result. Definitely recommended.

Jason and his crew were hired to install LED lighting all throughout our new home. We also had them install new automatic dimmer sensors throughout the house. They were able to match a very competitive quote and were able to come out right away to get started. They were very professional and kept the areas they were working on clean and covered to not ruin our carpeting or flooring. They got the job done on time as promised and we are extremely pleased with how the house turned out. It has transformed what the house lighting was before. I'm having Jason come back shortly to tackle a few more projects around the house. He is very informative and down to earth, and knows his craft like a true professional. Do yourself a favor and hire them if you want the job done right at a fair price!

We hired Mr. Bartel to install a ceiling fan (I'm glad we did). He came right on time and gave us a great price compared to what Home Depot was going to charge us. He had a great sense of humor and very polite. If you are looking for a honest and good electrician I highly recommend Bartel's Electric! I'll will definitely be using his services again.

I had an intermittent electrical problem in my garage that could only be traced when the problem was occurring which normally only lasted about 24 to 36 hours before this Gremlin would disappear. I'd called my usual electrician as soon as the problem returned but after 36 hours he had not returned my call. Saturday morning I went to Yelp and started looking for a new electrician, but soon discovered that most electricians don't work on Saturday! After about 45 minutes of calling around I stumbled across 24/7 Pro Construction & Electric! They answered their phone right away and after they realized my problem was sporadic I heard those wonderful words we will have someone there within an hour! Sure enough the electrician arrived in the hour promised and immediately went to work chasing down that Gremlin. It took over an hour but the problem was discovered (loose wire) and corrected, bye bye Gremlin! This is a really great business with wonderful friendly people. I look forward to calling 24/7 Pro Construction & Electric in the future for other projects I have planned!

Joseph at Green Earth Electric installed a new 220V circuit and outlet for our EV charger. He was competitively priced, but more importantly he was responsive and professional throughout the process, showed up on time, and delivered exactly what we discussed. I would highly recommend Green Earth Electric to anyone and I expect to call them for any future electrical projects.
