Best Electricians in California

Was a repeat customer that attempted to schedule an appointment with him this month. Spoke to him once, texted him once and left a voice message. Never got an appointment scheduled and he didn't have the courtesy of responding to my numerous inquiries. All he had to do was tell me that he was simply too busy to schedule an appointment with me.

We are selling our house and the home inspector said a sub panel needed to be fixed and brought up to code. It needed to be done quick so we could finish the sale on our house. I started calling electricians listed on Yelp and chose Jeff to do the job.
Jeff is very friendly and knew exactly what needed to happen when I read the inspectors report to him. He said it was a quick fix and he was able to squeeze me in the next day. The quoted price was reasonable- in line with (but slightly cheaper than) another electrician who got back to me about the job.
Jeff called me before arriving and was able to come earlier than expected. He and his apprentice knocked out the job in 30 minutes and Jeff was even nice enough to help me attempt to remove a broken sprayer from the garden hose (definitely not part of his job!)
If I wasn't moving out of state Jeff would be my go to electrician!

CET is great to work with. They responded my request quickly and their price is reasonable. Their electrician did trouble shooting the problem and performed honest work. We are very happy with their work and will use them again for sure.

Stuart is my electrician for 10+ years, and always does a great job.  My entire house was flickering, called SDGE, three times.  They were not able to  fix my problem. I called Stuart to see if he can figure out what's wrong with my lights and he did not hesitate to come immediately and he fixed the problem right away he also explained the problem to me.  I highly recommend him, he is reliable, honest and thorough.

We had Mary with Ms. Sparky come out to address and quote us on two things.  1) fix an outside GFI outlet and 2) move some things around in the bathroom for a remodel.   She was nice at first and gave us a quote.  We hired them and she sent out Aldo, whom was nice, knowledgeable and knew the scope of work and did it with no issues.  When he finished the first part, he said he would come back and put the lights up and do the outside GFI. In the meantime, Mary sent us an invoice and asked us to pay the entire thing.  I then asked her twice in 36 hours when they could come back and finish the work and we did not hear anything.  Then thinking maybe if I paid it, she would respond.  Well, she did.  I paid the entire bill (which I regret!) then she finally said she couldn't finish the job until the next week (which was the not the agreement).  She then came out herself to put three bathroom lights up the same week.  She was mad!  She was not nice the entire time. She stomped around, was slamming stuff in the bathroom, then we heard glass breaking and a slough of curse words, sighs, etc.  She dropped the light globe.  She stomped out and said she would get another one.  
After that, she refused to come back and finish the outside job despite us paying for it. She claims it was not on the quote, but the quote states two GFIs and they only did one. She clearly went outside to see the project, Aldo was clear on it and she also states that she will be back over to finish it.  Both her and Aldo clearly understood the outside was in the scope of work!  It was not even about the costs or the timing, but how rude she became rude and she tried saying the scope of work was not on the quote and that we were difficult.  This is not how you treat customers.  
She was very nasty with her tone, she was yelling and the energy she gave off was really bad.  We didn't want her back in our house after that...  I understand these are hard times, but she cannot take her problems out on customers.   We had five other contractors we worked with and all were amazing to work with.   I do not recommend he and think she is lacking ethics.

Jesus was very professional and reliable! Highly recommend his company. Honest and service is excellent.

I looked around for a while for an electrician to install outdoor lighting and DM electric was referred to me by a neighbor. They were better priced than the other bids and really spent the time to make the process easy and comfortable. They helped me source the some for lighting and help me understand the different lighting options I bought from Amazon.

When they came onsite the crew was very professional and did amazing work. They even fixed an electric exercise bike my dog had damaged for free! Their work was top notch and I was very happy.

I highly recommend this company for your electrical needs.

They came out the day of, helped me find the right materials for a job and then did the job and billed me an extremely reasonable rate after the job was completed. This company is my go-to now for electrical work.

Definitely use this company again. You will not be disappointed if you have a problem with Electrical issues.

Really couldn't tell you about the experience as they have not showed and hour and 40 minutes past the appointment time. They have note returned an email or a phone call yet to give me any sort of status update. I understand the labor shortages these days, but a quick 2 minute call or email with some sort of update is NOT out of line with expectations.
As of now, I WOULD NOT recommend.

Needed to have some lights moved, another installed. Responded quickly, offered a fair price and scheduled quickly. Friendly, work was done well and cleaned up afterward.  Good service

Ken has been my electrician for more than 15 years.  He has been to my home probably more than 2 dozen times, doing projects for me both inside and outside the house.  The quality of his work is A-1 and his prices are more than reasonable.  The latest project involved improving the lighting in my garage which was pretty dim. He installed 4 new flourescent light fixtures and now we have so much light, we need practically need sunglasses.  My wife and I love it.  I am in the process of upgrading my sprinkler system and have asked Ken to install a new timer/controller for me.  I wouldn't go anywhere else.  I couldn't recommend him more.

Jayson was awesome!  In the past, I've had nothing but issues with electricians not following up with what they say they would do.  They would be late, sometimes never arrive at all, or do a complete hack job and I'd have to get another one out to fix what the last bozo did.  Thank God I found Jayson on Yelp!  He came out to my house on a Friday afternoon to quote me on some recessed lighting fixtures and a few other small jobs.  His prices were really good and he came back the following Monday to install everything.  He showed up Monday when he said he would and did an amazing job.  Jayson used plastic drop sheeting over all my floor and furniture to prevent dust/dirt from getting everywhere.  he is meticulous and treated my house as if it was his.  If you need an electrician, you're doing yourself a dis-service by not giving Jayson @ Shoreline Electric a call.  I guarantee you'll be pleased as was I.

Mike did an AMAZING job installing string lights on our patio overhang today!  He was recommended by our community's message board as a great electrician, and now I see why-- he arrived on time, his price was unbeatable (the next lowest price quote that I found was twice as much), and he was very professional and went above and beyond to carefully measure the string lights before securing them to the patio overhang in a really great looking way.  The result at night (when the lights are on) is even better than we imagined-- our backyard is magical now =) Thank you so much, Mike!  Bartels Electric will definitely be our go-to electrician in the future.

Had a day and time for the install and Javier, the electrician was a no show. He called an hour after the set appointment time to reschedule I just simply said I'm going to hire another electrician.

9/15/17 Zeena, the company owner left a voicemail to apologize about the no show. She offered to make it up. Tells a lot about a company who still gives high regards to its clients. I plan to call back and reschedule when my schedule allows.

Joseph did a great job of installing my ceiling fan and installing a wall switch. He was very professional and his price was excellent for the work done. We were so pleased with the outcome, He was also very conscientious about keeping our home clean. I will be calling him back for future work for sure. Thank you Joseph!
