Best Electricians in California

These guys are great. Have hired them twice to install electric car charges for me. Their prices are reasonable and they were super helpful plus didn't have to wait weeks for an appointment. Highly recommend.

Had another guy try and wire an ac outlet, HDMI and speaker wire for a home theater.  Had to have him stop after he had started.  He cut a big hole in my drywall and said the wires couldn't be fished.  Would have to open up the ceiling at each rafter to run it.
Had Joe come out.  He saved the day.  Ran the outlet, HDMI, and speaker wire.  He was able to fish all of it without cutting a piece of drywall.  He even found a recessed tv outlet box that was big enough to cover the hole the other guy had cut in my ceiling.  Had him install a hanging light and a fan/light in another room as well.  I'll be using Joe for all my electrical needs from here on out.

FJ is a great guy with excellent customer service skills!  I was looking for an electrician because we have loads of problems at my house and he gave estimates on the phone that sounded reasonable, compared to the other electricians/ companies out there who said there was a minimum fee just to come to the door! The previous yelp reviews definitely helped in calling FJ :)
Anyways FJ comes over, looks at the houses problems, ends up being worse than I thought :( he did what he could that day and I was satisfied, my house needs miracles! However a few days later FJ emails to say it was bothering him that our house could be safer than what it was (our house is about 100yrs old, not vintage cute either) for my husband, myself and our new son.
It was/is very thoughtful that he kept us in mind even though time had passed since he came out. I was shocked and both my husband and myself were overwhelmed by how genuinely nice and caring he is.
I highly recommend him for any size project, the work he did looks awesome and knowing what the problems were before FJ we feel a lot safer.
Give FJ a call you won't regret it!!!

Called the electrician company that my neighbor works for to try and get some things done as a surprise to my husband. The lady on the phone said she had him busy on other projects but she would send who she could spare. The man that came to my house smelled so bad and his clothes looked like they had not been washed in a week. After he left I called the lady back she just laughed on the other end and said well what you expected to get when you call me on the last minute on a Friday.

Our Quiet Cool installation was just completed a few minutes ago!!!  Steve and Tim did a great job.  They arrived on time, were thoughtful in their placement of the units and did a great job cleaning up after themselves.  Installation was fairly quick and they took the time to ensure all of my questions were answered.

Miguel was highly recommended to us by a light store . He installed an art light in a difficult location (he bumped into a giant beam) and he also had to order a custom set of switches. Lastly, the actual light we installed was faulty and he repaired it ! He is very professional with fair prices. He is the best electrician I have ever used and will call him again. He did a beautiful job.
The only issue it scheduling so be flexible. He is worth waiting for.

Issac and Rico are professionals who did a wonderful job installing our chandelier and fans throughout our home.  They're meticulous, organized, and they do clean and awesome work.  I highly recommend them to anyone needing excellent electrical work.  Thanks, Issac and Rico!!!

I'm a big fan of Yelp reviews so I gave ELECTRIC 24 a call. Needed some ceiling fans installed including all the wiring and braces. They were able to work around my schedule and the price was within my budget. Tim showed up 10 minutes early, I showed him what I wanted done and he started right away. Electric 24 is very professional and kept my house clean while the work was being done. No mess left behind and even offered to trouble shoot another issue I had. Looking forward to keeping them as my go to electricians for future needs.

Kwan and Russell show up on time and installed our Tesla wall connector quickly. They moved around a few things on the electric panels and voila the wall connector is up in about an hour. Their work is professional and they have a good vibe. Will 100% recommend them for any EV charger setup.

Joel wired up a whole house fan for me.  He was in and out in just over an hour.  I had a few other projects that I wanted to get a quote on while Joel was there.  Joel sent me his excel spread sheet with pricing for work he does.  I've saved his number and he'll be my go-to electrician when I have any issues.  Thank you Joel!!

Rudy returned my call quickly explained he was out of town and Kyle is covering for him.  Kyle made contact and we sent him drawings and intel by email which he confirmed and setup preliminary time to meet.  0900 July 11 Kyle called to get address and said he would  be here at 1000 or shortly after to inspect our job.  At 1100 Kyle was still not here.  I tried calling, left message..  At noon i had to go to work.  Sent Text, sent email, not a single reply. These are the facts and not opinions.   July 13 update.  I called Kyle from a different number he stated  sorry i am a busy guy

The five star reviews for this place come from people with barely any other yelp reviews.  I would keep this in mind when making a decision for yourself.

My experience mirrors a negative review below in that I had to redo Tony's expensive work because he did not do the job to CA code requirements. It is astounding to think that on a $2k job he would try to save maybe $50 in material rather than do it to code.  My husband even asked him about the wire size he was using and when confronted he says it is to code and fine.  Only after he pressed it further, did he finally relent and said my husband was right but that it would be fine and the code was too strict.  I'm still waiting for him to refund our money.  

His worker was also sloppy and messy and not very professional.  This was about a year ago so I don't recall his name.  

If he was a dirt cheap electrician I could maybe understand his thinking, but when he charges top dollar and you get subpar and amateur quality work there is just no point in entertaining his offer for your job.  Maybe he can do a ceiling light or fan, but I would not trust him to do anything that required higher gauge wire that one day might lead to your house burning down because he skimped out.

OMG!!! This company is phenomenal!  We had to update our old radiant ceiling heating system and were at the end of our budget. We had totally remodeled our home and spent enough money as it was. Then we had to deal with bypassing the old system and having electric box heaters installed into the walls in 4 rooms. Scary as they would need to cut into the walls to do this.  After 5 other bids from local Electricians that would come out and ask us electrical questions we could not answer (which honestly scared us off) or saying they could probably do the the job) we found Service Rite Electric. They came out right away, told us what needed to be done and what type of power our system could support. They had an estimate in writing to us within the hour via email and came out the next day to do the work. They were finished in 2.5 hours and not one bit of mess! The new wall heaters looked gorgeous and work perfectly and since they finished in half the time, they took off $350.00 dollars!! Yes I definitely recommend this company! Fair, fast and friendly.

Our construction company had a job walk with Lucian and that night got a bid for the work. He was able to start work as soon as he was awarded the job and hasn't stopped working since. A 5600 sq. ft. complete gut of a house without good detailed plans and the crew has done a great amount of the work in about 2 months. We didn't have to hire a separate low voltage company which was a bonus. Thanks laguna Electric.

RK Electric was the bomb! Dave called me a couple of days after he was referred to me by my landscape contractor and showed  up on time to give me a quote. He turned what seemed to be a complicated situation of getting electrical to my new Spa and adding plugs to my backyard into a simple solution. when I came home the work was done and he called me later that night to see how I would like to pay and voila  - project completed. He was courteous and thorough...I highly recommend!

I called Anthem handyman services when a plumber gave me an outrageous quote to replace my pressure regulator. Gunner from Anthem did it for a fraction of the cost and he picked up all the materials. Super professional and honest!

Saeid was an absolute pleasure to work with. Super responsive and was able to complete the project in  under 2 days following the initial inspection of work to be completed. Very fair and honest prices. Would definitely consider him again for future electrical work!

Called Jorge, he came out within 30 minutes to my house and fixed the problem in as much time as that!   I had 4 sockets where only 3 were working. I had pulled them apart and still couldn't figure it out, but Jorge was polite quick, and very helpful and figured the issue quickly and resolved it.  Definitely recommend for all your electrical issues.

Brandon Martin was sent to my home to repair a low voltage walkway light that was damaged during furniture moving.  I knew the existing  walkway lights were old, and was hoping the broken one could just be fixed with a stake or something.  I didn't want to make a big deal of it, but on the other hand I didn't want a broken walkway light just left hanging on the ground for someone else to trip over it, as I am having a lot of construction work done on my house.
Brandon showed up when he said he would, and told me the light could not be repaired, so he would be replacing all 4 walkway lights.
I was pretty surprised that he did not just try to do the cheapest thing-- rig it so it would remain upright for a short time and be done with it,  even though it would not be a lasting solution, since someone else was going to be paying for it.
The replacement lights were ordered and Brandon once again showed up exactly when he said he would, and replaced all 4 of my walkway lights. They have never looked better!  He left my walkway perfectly clean even though he had to dig up the old lights to install the new ones.
Being a San Diego homeowner, I have had occasion to use the services of several local electricians over the years, and have never found one I was completely happy with.  For whatever reason, the other guys I called were either completely unresponsive, would not show up when they were supposed to or cancel at the last minute, quoted ridiculously high prices for small jobs, or left the work area a mess that I had to clean up.  Martin Electric was none of those.  Brandon was professional, friendly, and responsive.  I will be keeping Martin Electric's number for any future electrical needs.  Thank you for doing an awesome job!

I had an appointment with an electrician made through American Homeshield (which is also a scam so don't ever purchase their plan), and he just didn't show up for the first appointment.  This is annoying because I took time off of work to stay home to meet the electrician.  Ernesto came the second time.  Although he was polite, he never followed up after that first visit.  I called continuously and even went so far as to message the business through Yelp.  Crickets.  When we finally did get someone on the phone, they stated that American Homeshield wouldn't cover the issues, so I said that's fine.  I'm happy to pay out of pocket.  They said they sent it to me via email (which I never received it), so we requested that they mail it to me.  I never got that either.  So after numerous attempts at trying to reach them, I give up on getting my $75 service fee back.  When I say I tried to contact them numerous times, I'm talking *lots* of calls.  This isn't one or two attempts then I gave up.  I have no idea how they stay in business treating their customers this way.
