Those days when you reach for something in the front counsel of your vehicle, grab it, turn around and your butt, coupled with a badly-timed gust of wind, helps the back door close and lock your keys in your car?

...with your child inside?

Well that was me yesterday. Definitely not one of my brightest moments.

After getting over the shock of what I did and calming down my nerves, I grabbed my phone and googled the nearest locksmith.

I called Pop-A-Lock and within minutes, a technician was there and literally within seconds, my vehicle was unlocked.

It's their company policy that emergency lockouts involving kids in cars are free. I was shocked.

At a time when i was so desperate to do anything, to pay anything- these guys were incredibly professional, respectful and caring.

I insisted the technician take the $10 cash I had, told him lunch was on me and asked for some business cards.

In this day and age of big-box retailers and conglomerates that treat customers like you're one of many, it's nice when a business goes out of their way to provide the care and professionalism that earns them a customer for life.

A HUGE thank you to Johnny Locksmith!! They sent Avi my way yesterday and he was impeccable! He helped calm my nerves since I had no idea what to do and was freaking out. He had made one set and it didn't work so he told me he had to go about 30 mins away to make it again with a different machine; he was literally back within the 30! With a fresh set of keys!! Two keys for $155 you can't get better than that I will refer Johnny Locksmith to anyone we ask and will listen!! Avi needs a raise!(:

Just bought a new house in Avondale and Jeff came all the way out here to change y locks for me. He was on time and extremely friendly. Gave his prices straight off the bat and worked extremely quickly. Will be using him anytime I need a locksmith.

I started having trouble inserting my key in my front door lock. I thought this would be a good time to upgrade my lock to an optional keyless one. I bought a new lock and called and spoke to Alon. He came out yesterday afternoon and installed my new lock. It wasn't as easy as I thought it would be, but he figured it out and then showed me how to use it. He was efficient and friendly. The price was fair and reasonable. I would definitely recommend him.

I sent several quotes and used Yelp for help with my truck and almost everyone that answered said my town was too far (even though they had my town as part of their area of service.  JJ answers my quote and although he was over 60 miles one way, he said he would come and help me.  He made several stops along the way for equipment and by the time he left, I was in my vehicle and keys made.  He was very professional and although I know he is in this business to make money, he did not flinch of driving 120 miles round trip to not only help someone, but he gained a future customer.  Thank you...

Someone broke into my car about a month ago and messed up all the locks including the trunk and they pulled out the ignition  but thanks to Alcatraz locksmith and Todd he was flexible, friendly, and fast with service and the service was GOLD STANDARD. He was reasonably priced and better prices than all competitors. I would definitely use this company again! Todd got my car back on the road again

I had to wait a bit for him to arrive. Business must be good though soo just had to be patient. He opened my car up pretty fast. Saved me!

$15,- for cutting a blank key which I had purchased online- total rip-off. And to make it sound cheap, the lady at the store mentioned that normally they would charge $20,-

Walmart charges $2,- and that includes the blank.

I absolutely recommend Mr. Lockout! I locked myself out of the house on a really hot morning and Stormy came to the rescue in about an hour. She was very kind, and quick! AHHHMAZING!! The absolute best and honest customer service I've ever received from a locksmith!! Best locksmith ever! Gave me a quote to have some locks rekeyed and due to some complications John had to come back. He didn't charge me extra and did additional research on some tricky European locks to complete the job. Easy to communicate with and very prompt. Would highly recommend to anyone!
