Dave has already been here, diagnosed and fixed my problem involving electricity to my garbage disposal while I'm still rating for return calls from two other highly rated electricians. Dave is competent, very professional and his prices are reasonable. Highly recommend.

I can't say enough great things about Ry and his team.  We had a variety of wiring and lighting projects that needed to be completed at home on an expedited timeline.  Though I know they were extremely busy, they were very responsive, professional, considerate, wonderful to work with... and were able to squeeze us into their schedule and complete the work much faster than anyone else. They will be my first call anytime we have electrician needs in the future.

For many years, I've used Yelp to read reviews on businesses but never have I thought about writing one myself. However, that day has changed when Dave and I signed a contract for an electrical panel upgrade project at our home.

Let me first say that Dave is very friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. Though his price was a little in the high side compared to other bidders, I now know why his price was what it was. He used good quality materials, upgrade panel to 200A instead of 125A, run wires in the crawl space, and his workmanship was excellent (even the inspector said so himself). The reason why running the wires in the crawl space important to me was because I did not wanted the wires to be exposed in the front of the house. Dave was the only person who said he would do that! One contractor said he would run the wires around the ceiling of the house, the other said if you want to save some $$, you can run the wires under the crawl space yourself. What the....for real? I'm giving you work buddy, not the other way around.

Upon knowing that Dave will do the work to the best of his knowledge and make sure that everything looks good, not to mention he guaranteed it to pass inspection, I now feel that it was worth every penny of the contract.

Lenny is the best electrician my husband and I have come across in the Bay Area. Lenny is professional, smart, efficient, honest, and able to problem solve electrical issues with ease. We needed electrical work to install our HotSpring Spa. We wanted the spa to be installed immediately and Lenny made time for us. I was unaware that the spa would work better if converted to a 230 volt operation from 115 volt. Lenny explained this to me and was able to install with his team without any issues. He took the time to make sure everything was in working order before leaving. We were extremely impressed by his work. His prices are much better than other electricians in the surrounding area. Lenny also took the time to check in the following day to make sure we were happy and everything was still working well. We will definitely be using Lenny and his team for future electrical work. Highly highly recommend.

Micah is a pro.  Responsive and does excellent work and checks it twice.  Excellent communication, and we even had a few laughs.  His crew is also very professional.  I feel confident recommending Micah.

It's been a great experience working with Chris for my outlet and light fixture issues.  Our 60-year-old electrical wirings are very messy and complicated, Chris really took the time to troubleshoot and found the root cause of the problem. Communication with him was great and he was very good at following up with different issues. Needed an electrician to install an LED backlit mirror in the bathroom. While the project seemed simple at first, complications arose for various reasons ... basically because a hefty and flat modern unit protested about being mounted flush on a bathroom wall. A vintage 1948 San Francisco house. Tom from Authentic Electrical Services devised a clever solution which involved carpentry as well as electrical skills. The outcome was neat, sturdy and good looking. Just the update my bathroom was asking for.

PS  The boss is Don. He joined in toward the end of the project as two persons were eventually needed. Don did not charge for his time! The going rate for certified electricians is significant. Yet with Authentic you get real pros and nice ones too.

We needed a smart car charging outlet installed in our garage. I had reached out to a couple contractors to get quotes, CJ's was by far the most reasonable. He came out on the exact time and day as promised and make quick work of the project. Would recommend him to anyone!!

Ken was great. Perry Electric upgraded our panel, added overhead lighting and grounded our outlets and switches. They were on time, prepared and very skillful at overcoming the difficulty of working with an old house.

Great costumer service easy to deal with. They give me great deal on their product. They show me around their shop weary honest people and hard working. I will shop there again.

Great Electrician. The husband and wife team at D & H went above and beyond to help us in an emergency when our power lines were taken down by a large tree.  

The work was done quickly and they really helped out with the county inspection.  Highly recommended if you need an electrician.

We had the power go out in half of our house on a holiday.  I reached out to Gonzalo and he contacted me timely.  He was out at my house the next morning and diagnosed the problem.  I had to have PG&E come out and pull the meter from my main panel.  The main breaker for the house had a melt down, literally.  Gonzalo made an attempt to find the parts to replace it, but it was over 30 years old.  He had to replace the entire main panel which involved opening the stucco wall and installing the new panel that was 3 times the size of the original.  Mind you, the entire time he was doing this work we had no power to the house.  He was able to get the entire job completed in 8 hours. He had a person out the next day to repair the stucco and pulled the permit.  He walked the inspector around and preemptively made a few repairs that he knew the inspector would check.  He did those for no additional charge.  We passed on the first inspection.  He was responsive during the entire project and kept me informed of everything that was going on.  I will be using Gonzalo again.

I called for maintenance on my HVAC system and received an incredibly quick response along with an appointment same day within 2 hrs of me contacting them. I will say, I was concerned and skeptical to have a company service the HVAC system with no reviews on yelp but given the impending heat wave I decided to give east bay HVAC a try. And I am so glad that I did. Max was the technician that came out and he also happens to be the new owner of this franchise of Fuze and just beginning to build his client base. He spent 2 hours inspecting/testing all aspects of the system and educating me on the issues he identified. He clearly knows his craft very well and talked to me about his many years of experience and his journey to becoming a new franchise owner. He also helped me to prioritize what absolutely needed to be fixed vs what could probably wait. He didn't try to upsell or push anything which was such a breath of fresh air. He was genuine and honest and answered all my questions. I ended up doing the bare minimum knowing Max is a phone call away if the issues I decided not to fix cause a failure. And all of this at a very competitive price. Also, Max shared that his biggest stress with starting his business so far has not been the work itself but rather communicating with clients. Max is from Ukraine so there were times that we ran into a language barrier but it was a non issue for me - nothing google translator couldn't solve and the work speaks for itself. To sum up, I am thankful I didn't judge this book by its cover at first glance on yelp. I will highly recommend Max and will be using him for all of my HVAC and electrical needs going forward.

Haven't done the work yet but so far service has been excellent. They submitted a detailed estimate and responded to questions promptly. When I decide to go ahead with the project, replacement of an ancient electrical supply, MEL Electric will be at the top of the list. I also am going to contact them regarding a back-up generator. Living in 3rd World California, which has a totally unreliable power supply system, makes this necessary.
