Direct Electric Electrician
I picked Dave to diagnose and fix a problem with a breaker panel at the house I rent.  My experience with Direct Electric is nothing short of first-rate.  He was exactly on time, did the diagnosis quickly and presented a range of solutions.  When I picked the best alternative, Dave had the time to implement the fix immediately and everything worked perfectly.  I can't recommend Direct Electric highly enough, based on my experience.

Santiago Electric Electrician
The work performed was 4.5 stars.

The wiring for my fan and light in the bathroom was messed up so I asked Santiago electric to come service the issue.

Technician (Hector) was great and fixed the problem in about 30 minutes.

I had also asked to have a couple outlets wired for GFCI and the technician did them for an extra charge. Overall I am satisfied with the work they performed and would use them again if there were any other electrical issues.

I also appreciate the follow up call from them after services were performed to see how they could do better and if there was any feedback for them. Good customer service goes a long way!

Always Current Electric Electrician
Ry Kelly of Always Current Electric is amazing! He installed a Generac generator for me and did a superb job. He ran into some difficulties in replacing the old fuse box with a new, slightly larger one and had to do some major carpentry to make it work. He knew what to do, spent way more time than he'd expected when he made the bid but didn't charge me a penny more. Also, his clean-up and attention to detail were all I could have hoped for. Great guy - I definitely recommend him!

A&K Electric Electrician
Fast efficient service, very knowledgeable and explained everything. Went above and beyond! Checked everything, changed what was necessary only and his prices were very fair. Great follow up also to make sure issues were completely resolved. Local business too because I look forward to supporting smaller companies.

Blue Line Electric Electrician
I had today off and I wanted to find an electrician that could install a ceiling fan. I called 4 companies that had 3 1/2+ yelp stars, one hung up on me, one said I lived too far - I live in San Leandro and he is in Pleasanton (16 miles away) one never called me back.  Dave called me back with in 20 mins. He gave me a quote but said since the first fan that my landlord installed fell out of the ceiling he would look at the wiring and what went wrong and he may have to walk away and do nothing if he felt it was unsafe. If that was the case he wouldn't charge me anything.  He said he would be here at 1:00 and he was here exactly at 1:00.  He looked at the wiring and the electric box that my landlord put in and told me he would be able to continue.  Instead of just mounting the fan and leaving he read the installation instructions that came with the fan (Hunter is the brand) and even called Hunter for clarity on something that was missing from the instructions.  When Dave was done he set up the remote made sure all the functions on the fan worked. Then he cleaned up the mess, made sure I had the instructions and told me to keep the box the fan came in in case I needed to return it.  He also mounted the remote on the wall for me and made sure I knew how to use it.

Marin SF Electric Electrician
In construction there are three legs of importance - speed, quality and cost.  After several years of successful projects with Len our company has realized he brings more to the table than most. Each job on time, value engineered to fit the budget, above and beyond quality.  Len and his crew, especially Colby and Duncan, are assets to any project.

Micah Electric Electrician
Micah and his crew are friendly, easy going, responsive, and described everything that needed to be done to get to step one... & then to step two. They needed to cut out a part of the ceiling on the lower level to get access to the the space between the floors and they were very fast, efficient and had a minimal impact. They were clean, took steps to protect the space from dust and debris and cleaned up afterward.

Unfortunately our wiring problem is waaay more complicated than anticipated. The damage was done by rats that wreaked havoc on the wiring of an old house on a steep hill, and there's no visible access to the wires at many points. And in spite of the difficulty of assessing the extent of the damage, or the best road to repair, Micah has been incredibly patient, kind, and generous about all of it. I highly recommend him, hopefully only for projects that are less of a nightmare than this one.

Quinn Electric Electrician
I hired Chris to install a ceiling light in my master bedroom. He is very polite, humble and most importantly got the job done in 15 minutes! He seems very familiar with everything he is doing and has a very reasonable rate. I'd hire him again for any electrical related works.

Authentic Electrical Electrician
Don was super responsive from moment one, returning messages via phone, quoting via email, and communicating about the job via text.

He was able to come out to quote a job (recessed lighting in three locations and a multimedia cable pull) within a day.  We had a tight timeline to get this done before painters, and he was able to squeeze us in right before Christmas.  He showed up promptly with a crew of two more guys, and all the materials for the job.  His team was very communicative and clean, using drop cloths and floor protection where possible, and cleaning up after what is a pretty messy job.

He was very helpful with choices too, for a novice like myself.  When asked, he told us our idea for lighting placement in the kitchen was not good (very diplomatically!) and suggested something else which ended up being so much better.

He ended up completing the job in just under two days (five days after we first spoke on the phone), for what I consider to be a very reasonable price considering the almost rush nature of it.  I would hire Don again in a second.

Precision Home Improvement Electrician
We have used Precision Home Improvement for a few years on several different projects. I have always been impressed with thier promptness, they always show up when they say they will, (unlike many other contractors) and they do a good job for a fair price.

I wouldn't hesitate using them again on any project I don't want to tackle myself.

CJ Bradley's Electric Electrician
We needed a smart car charging outlet installed in our garage. I had reached out to a couple contractors to get quotes, CJ's was by far the most reasonable. He came out on the exact time and day as promised and make quick work of the project. Would recommend him to anyone!!

Perry Electric Electrician
Some 9 year old smoke alarms went off in my house, twice! in middle night! Some of them are on high ceilings so that I can't reach. I asked around by messaging/calling/emailing and Ken was the most responsive one. There may be some other electrician/handyman out there who can do the job but they are useless if they can't be reached or wouldn't do the job for you. So Ken came in two days later, he had to borrow a 20 ft ladder from a friend and replaced those smoke alarms quickly. I also had him replace a bath vent fan and upgraded some recessed lights. He and his friend did the job quite clean and professionally. I would definitely hire him again if I need an electrician.

Infinium Solar Electrician
Infinium comes off like they know what they are doing. During the sale process, I was dealing with Jacob Sleep. He seemed to be very responsive and knowledgeable. A GREAT salesman. But he is exactly that, a GREAT SALESMAN. Once you sign on the dotted line, he is far less responsive. In fact, the entire company has this one fundamental issue. Once you sign the contract, you become a secondary citizen compared to the people they haven't signed yet.

Let me dig into some specifics:

My first contact with them was May 13th, 2021. By May 27th, they were already sending me the contract, promising me that the project would be done within a couple of months.

Today is December 13th. Solar panels are still not installed. Now let me be clear on what happened so that hopefully you understand the PROS/CONS.

When Jacob was out and he was surveying the house, he asked good questions and suggested things that I didn't know much about like optimal locations for the panels on the roof. One specific thing he suggested was the location of batteries. He recommened we put them inside the garage because it makes the batteries last longer when they are not exposed to the elements. I agreed. I also came away impressed with how knowledgeable Jacob seemed to be about the different types of panels and the batteries. I came away thinking that Infinium would treat me well as a customer.

After signing the contract, things started to unravel. Infinium got to working on the plans and they went silent for several weeks with no visibility or updates. Jacob became VERY unresponsive. I sent some follow up emails asking where we were at and didn't get responses. Finally, after about three weeks they responded saying that they are finishing up the plans. They told me that after approval, they would handle the permitting with the county and it shouldn't be more than a month.

A few more weeks go by and nothing. Every once in awhile Jacob would respond to my messages saying that they have just submitted or that they are waiting for feedback from the county but not explanation for why things were taking so long. Finally, on August 16th, I wrote Jacob saying that delays were longer than anything that they pointed to and I was wondering if there were some kind of discount they can offer as I was now losing any chance of taking advantage of the summer sun. Jacob responded saying that it was Santa Clara County's fault because they changed the guidelines since he spoke to me and therefore, it's not their fault. Didn't even acknowledge my asking about a potential discount.

Jacob and I spoke on the phone and I asked to speak with the owner of the company.  Jacob NEVER made good on that.

The first concrete bit of information also came in August from them but not from Jacob but from a Jackson Bigham who I believe was the project lead. He said because my batteries are placed in the garage, the county is asking for significant failsafes like barriers against cars potentially running into them, smoke detectors and potentially even sprinklers. Jackson was also the first to actually apologize for the pace of the project which I hadn't heard from Jacob. While it was not good news, I appreciated Jackson filling me in on the details of what was going on, again, months after I had signed and asked for updates.

By October, still no permit. Jackson explained that the issue was the Fire department and the county going back and forth and changing requirements on them in real time. On October 5th, Jackson looped in Jessica Stephenson who he said was now the project manager who has taken over the communications with the county.

Jessica and I spoke on the phone. For what it's worth, Jessica was more responsive than Jacob (at least initially). She was also willing to apologize (at least in words) for the delay. I once again asked to speak to the owner and to her credit, she did make good on that promise unlike Jacob.

A week later, I spoke to the owner, Jeff Long. He was pleasant to speak to and apologetic about the delays. I asked him to please tell his people to be more professional about communicating. He said he would though I could tell he was placating.

Jessica kept me aprised but ultimately the county required too many things so I asked for the batteries to be moved outside but for them to provide a cover. She ignored the cover and said the batteries will be installed outside. That was end of October. Finally on Nov 30, Jessica emailed and said the permit has been approved. They scheduled me for install today (Dec 13th) and tomorrow (Dec 14th). This morning, Jessica emailed and said that the weather won't allow for them to install. I had already told work that I wasn't coming in and now I'm scrambling because they waited until this morning to tell me something about the weather that they had known last week. Again, an issue of communication.

I'll update when the final install is done but I can't recommend this business based on my experience.

D & H Electric Electrician
D & H Electric is amazing!   They were recommended by a close friend of mine and I must say I couldn't be happier with the work done in my home in Aptos.  Armando is highly skilled, respectful, professional and a master at his craft.  I had him upgrade the electrical for our master bath remodel and add several additional breakers to our panel.  His attention to detail (clean & organized wire routing), great work ethic, cleanliness of workspace and job site, excellent communication skills and punctual for all his commitments with us make him our new go to guy for electrical work!  I highly recommend Armando and D & H Electric for you next job.  I promise you won't be disappointed!

Fuse HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical & Plumbing Electrician
Our A/C was working just fine yesterday morning but stopped in the afternoon on the hottest day of our summer. Usually it cools down at night but in this heatwave that didn't happen so, needless to say, we didn't sleep so well last night. Contacted Fuse this morning and they sent Max out by around 10am. He gave me a quick diagnosis, reasonable quote, and the work looks great. It took him about 1.5 hours to replace a few things and made sure everything was running optimally. He just left and I'm already back to the cool mid-70's! Thanks Max and Fuse!!!
